January is almost gone.  Last week we spoke of … the speed of light. And time is fleeting-by, is there is a reason?

Tuesday:

Approaching the Throne of Grace, are you ready to step forward? This is going before the King of kings, and Lord of all lords.  Yet He said we can boldly approach Him…

Thursday:

When you know Jesus, He will meet all your needs. Why? Because He said He would, and it is accomplished only by our Faith, in Him and asking in His Name trusting that He said He would. So, thank Him.

Friday:

God poured His love on each of us… do you feel His love today?  Stop and experience it.

Saturday:

God gave you His Peace, a sound mind with power, an amazing Grace and His Divine Providence of abundance. Did you get your share?

Sunday:

The Lord is at hand… His presence is eternal, and in the Holy Trinity of Father: Son and Holy Spirit we have His Divine Grace and power.

Topic: Why does evil exist? Why did God give us 10 Commandments that we cannot keep? They were given to let us know His Goodness.

Text: Exodus 24:12
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them.”

Commentary: In life there is a wrong way and a right way. Why is there an instruction sheet enclosed in the little box that contains an electrical switch? Because you will attach the wrong wires to the wrong contacts, so read the wiring instruction to avoid burning the contacts. As we say… when all else fail, read the instructions.

In life we are confronted with allure of marketing, at an automobile show, they emphasis is not on the cars but the models standing by the vehicles. In most commercials the promotion is not the product but what the product will do for you. So in today's message we are focused on the 'Core-Aspect' of why Christ died for us….
First; He loves us, so this is the core reason, secondly, He wants us to be filled with Joy, Thirdly, He wants us to be where He is.

The above are what we consider to be God's perspective as the scriptures taught us. Now let's look at this from our own perspective. Why do we need a Savior? Because without His salvation we are going down in the Titanic, so the following is more or less of why we need to be saved:
First, we are all survivalist, and will always struggle to survive, secondly, we would like to avoid being cast into hell and therefore we want to find a way around this. Thirdly, His offer of Life Everlasting sounds interesting, but we oftentimes postpone the decision to take up His offer.

Now we want to analyze why did we receive the Ten-Commandments. Because the absence of a set of rule will cause us to be living a lawless life not governed by a set of instructions of how to live a good life. Just like the instruction of how to wire the switch, the commandments are there to tell us if we do the wrong thing we will be roasted, (like burning-up the wrongly wired switch)

We are all created as 'Free-thinkers' and having this freedom, we will choose the wrong things especially lured by the marketing blitz. Some things are obvious that are done in our lives by applying intelligence; but rational thinking is not always applied. This brings us to the irrational action that usually comes with consequences.
Life is a Vapor, The Bible said… James 4:14
Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

Principle: You can’t ‘Test-Drive’ Christianity… to see if it works for you!

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Deuteronomy 6:2
that you may fear the Lord your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged.

Conclusion: The Followers of Jesus gave their lives for the Gospel, Why? Because they knew His Resurrection was TRUE…

The book of ACTS is about The Holy Spirit and the Disciples, as we see that Christ gave them the Holy Spirit that empowered them with the Power to Heal, and to Proclaim Him with Authority and be Fearless, they did this as they were filled with His Holy Spirit, “The Comforter” that HE said He would send after He ascended into Heaven.

Today we can boldly come to Jesus our High Priest as our Sovereign God, as he said “It is Finished” and the Temple Veil was torn, and by His Blood we are saved as He, Jesus is our Intercessor and our Mediator and He will never leave us not forsake us.

Accept His Invitation today; come to our Lord as He is willing to accept you just as you are…

Pray: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and through You Lord Jesus we can be Redeemed as we come with a contrite heart seeking Your Forgiveness, Lord we thank you for our Visitors and Your Saving Grace and we give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Do You pray harder when you need God’s help? Is there a reason to hold God accountable to His promises?

Yes, we do, even though Jesus knew what the blind man wanted, He asked what would you like for me to do?

Mark 10: 51

New International Version
"What do you want me to do for you?" Jesus asked him. The blind man said, "Rabbi, I want to see."

Why did Jesus ask?

Because it takes ‘Faith’ and belief to receive the Grace, love and gifts of the Lord…

As Jesus said to the blind man…

52. “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.

It was the faith in Jesus by the blind man that Jesus saw and healed him.

So standing in faith Praying and knowing that without faith it is impossible to please the Lord.

      The reason why we must keep on ‘Asking’… Jesus knows your need, but He wants us to know Him.

Jesus already knew what the blind man wanted, but, still Jesus asked… “What do you want Me to do for you?” why did Jesus asked?  It’s like being at an intersection and you see someone that seems like a destitute homeless individual, but he did not come up and ‘Ask’…  what do you do? One of two things offer to help or to ignore and move on.  It should be noted, that if the individual comes up and ask, you ‘must’ give.

So, Jesus gave His blessing and His healing power. We all have heard about; ‘do not cast your pearls to swine’ and ‘beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing’.

It is a bit of ‘Fresh-Air’ to share the providence of the Lord, but not to squander it. And as we address this, let us in reference go to the Lord.

Today I will address the most popular worship song (for this month) it is titled ‘God’s Reckless Love’ maybe the writer should have consulted the dictionary before using this title of ‘Reckless’ which means; reckless meaning: showing a lack of care about risks or danger and acting without thinking about the results of your actions.  The word reckless comes from the Old English word receleas, meaning "careless, thoughtless, heedless."

So, today…let us be fast in listening and slow to speak…guard our words carefully, it is like a bullet, once shot it cannot be retrieved. Don’t waste your bullets, keep your powder dry, these are the tips to guarding our surroundings.

Look at how God loves us, He gave us dominion over all living things, He gave us freedom, but we squandered the Paradise that he made for us, so as Adam & Eve were ‘evicted from Eden’ we are here today having to be employed or to employ and generate an income to meet our needs. 

A well-known quote from an anonymous writer said… We do not choose to be born. We do not choose our parents. We do not choose our historical epoch, the country of our birth, or the immediate circumstances of our upbringing. We do not, most of us, choose to die; nor do we choose the time and conditions of our death. But within this realm of choice lessness, we do choose how we live. – unknown

God said we should also choose how we live…

To come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him…

Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. The Grace and Love of our Lord

His Sovereignty, His Majesty, His Love, His Redemption….

His Omniscient… Jesus is with us always, even to the ends of the age: 

Matthew 28:20  teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and loI am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

HE is Omnipotent:  From Jesus our Eternal God, we receive His Power through His Holy Spirit:

2 Peter 1:3 [Confirming One’s Calling and ElectionHis divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

His Love:   Our Sovereign God loves us so much He sent His Son to Redeem us

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.)

His Saving Grace:

2 Timothy 1:9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,

Conclusion: We can come to the Throne of Righteousness in Prayer knowing that our High Priest our Redeemer Jesus Christ intercedes for us and by His Grace we are Saved… Amen

Prayer… Lord let me be humble and by brotherly love not pre-judge anyone. Today Lord instill in me the presence of Your Holy Spirit and capture my ways, my thoughts, my all and let me shine as a beacon for You.  leading others to You my Lord, as You said let it be done on Earth as it is in Heaven therefore; Lord use me and let Your Kingdom be broaden and grant our audience that seek You Lord; safety and as Your said Lord.. ” You will never leave us nor forsake us”, To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore, in Your Holy name Lord Jesus we pray… Amen.

 Faith + Prayer = Power, nothing can compare to this equation. Not even   E = mc2 as this was a theory, but the Power of the Holy Spirit is always present.

Is God hearing our prayers? When was your last contact with Him? Stay in contact, because He wants to hear from you, and you will know He cares.

   It’s never too early or too late to come to Him, do not make Him your last resort. Seek Him first.

What does it mean…? When God said enter into my Rest, (in the book of Hebrews) what was His intent?

The Sabbath Rest

(Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 16:22-30)

  1. Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be deemed to have fallen short of it. 2. For we also received the good news just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who comprehended it.

3. Now we who have believed enter that rest. As for the others, it is just as God has said:

“So, I swore on oath in My anger,

‘They shall never enter My rest.’”

And yet His works have been finished since the foundation of the world. 4. For somewhere He has spoken about the seventh day in this manner: “And on the seventh day God rested from all His works.” 5. And again, as He says in the passage above: “They shall never enter My rest.”

6. Since, then, it remains for some to enter His rest, and since those who formerly heard the good news did not enter because of their disobedience, 7. God again designated a certain day as “Today,” when a long time later He spoke through David as was just stated: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.”

8. For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. 9. There remains, then, a Sabbath rest for the people of God. 10. For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His. 11. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same pattern of disobedience.

The Living Word

12. For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

14. Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we profess. 15. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who was tempted in every way that we are yet was without sin. 16. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Here’s what is declared…

9. There remains, then, a Sabbath rest for the people of God. 10. For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His. 11. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same pattern of disobedience.

13. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

 

14. Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we profess. 15. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Commentary:

Approach the throne of Grace with confidence, to be able to receive His Rest… His Mercy and Grace today do not wait until your time of need. He wants you to have Joy in Him.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, through Jesus our Redeemer we have Joy and victory in You.  Lord today as You have said whatever we asked in Your Holy Name will be granted. So, we give thanks for our petition of healing, financial provisions, relationship in You as we abide in You and You in us.  Lord we thank You for our Visitors and let Your Divine providence be on us all.  In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus… Amen.

Know this… that God is intimately involved in your life,

How do you know this? Because He said so…

Just like when God said to Moses…

Exodus 33: 12 New International Version
Moses said to the LORD, "You have been telling me, 'Lead these people,' but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You have said, 'I know you by name and you have found favor with me.

John 15:16 New International Version
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit--fruit that will last--and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

No Greater Love

5. “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. 6. Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. 7. But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! 8. When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.

9. “I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. 10. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. 11.  I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!  12. This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. 13. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14. You are my friends if you do what I command. 

Commentary

So, one could say I did not asked to be born, yes you did not ask, but God created you and He did this for a purpose. He created us to be His ‘Friends’

As He said… Yes, your joy will overflow! 12. This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. 13.There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14You are my friends if you do what I command. 

We are no longer slaves, but His Friends…

15. I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me. 16. You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. 17.This is my command: Love each other.

Philippians 4: 4-9 (NKJV)

 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Lord bless each of our Visitors as we Praise You and give You the Glory, we thank You Lord that whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. God staked everything on you, do you believe in yourself, know that that He chose you before the foundation of the world…

After 400 years of silence, God sent His Son Jesus, as ‘God among us’

Have you ever asked why there was 400 years of silence?

This period is known as the ‘Silent Years’ a time when God did not reveal anything new.

On the other hand, to us 400 years may be a long time but, to The Creator time is celestial. So much we do not know, we have the theory of Quantum Physics, we know that light moves at the speed of 300,000 kilometers per second (186,000 miles per second) and when an object moves at this speed, its mass will become infinite. So, God is infinite.

John the Baptist who announced the Lamb of God…John baptized with water, but Jesus baptized by the Holy Spirit…

Acts 11: (Peter’s account of his visit with Cornelius)

15.  As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, just as He had come upon us at the beginning. 16. Then I remembered the word of the Lord, as He used to say, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ 17. So, if God gave them the same gift as He gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to hinder the work of God?”

The Power of His Presence… He is standing at the door (Rev 3: 20)

Revelation 3:20

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Standing on God’s promise….

Today, pray and stand back… allowing the power of God’s hand to work in your life. He can use each of us to accomplish His will. So, let it be His will and not your will. Because, His will is the way of Truth in a Life led by His glorious Providence and Love ️ for each other.

His Promise:

This should bring you great comfort, for if you have committed your life to Jesus Christ, God has promised that His angels will be with you at all times, to protect and guide you. This doesn't mean we'll never have problems, or that we'll always choose the right path in life -- but it does mean we'll never be snatched from God's loving hands. We aren't to worship the angels or make them the focus of our faith -- but we are to trust God's promise that "he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11).

The Bible doesn't say the angels pray for us -- and the reason is because One far greater than the angels already is praying for us: The Lord Jesus Christ. He alone is the divine Son of God, who even now sits in heaven interceding for us (see Hebrews 7:25). Is your faith and trust in Him -- both for today and for eternity?

Conclusion:  The Assurance of our Lord is eternal, the ‘Insurance’ by the best rated insurer will expire, and even they themselves need the ‘Real’ Assurance for that fateful day when all things will be let loose, as Jesus holds it all together but there is a day known as ‘The day of the Lord’ when all things will be shaken, it will be a day like we have never seen.

While our Lord is Faithful and loving and is Forgiving, He is also a God of ‘Consuming Fire’ as there will be an expiration of His Grace. Grace is defined as “UN-Merited” and is something that is not earned, therefore we need to know that His Fair-Warning is also to be respected as in due course of time, (which we never know when) ‘The Day of the Lord’ will come, or when we will be taken from this world.

The proof positive of His Creation is becoming more evident even through Science, now we are learning of the “God-Particle’ as the missing-link…. Is God allowing man to gain more in-sight? Are we coming closer to the full realization that all things are made by Him?

Remember the story of God telling man ‘Get your own Dirt’.  Today we face a global immigration and economic challenge, why? Man, in their quest to build a utopia here is futile as the scriptures says there will be no lasting peace here, and only when He returns will the Believers be at Peace by being with our Lord.  As the famous buy-line of an insurance company asked...” Are you in Good Hands?” right now those in Christ can say YES.

What do you really believe, are you ready to stake your life on it?

What can you really believe in? The blitz of the media, newspapers, television and the internet can influence some. But the small voice within maybe more influential to some.

If you know that God gave you a sound mind, and discernment; then the exposure to the blitz of opinions intended to influence you will not be of substance.

For we know in whom we have believed, and on that day, we shall see Him.

Just as Job said…

This is Job’s affirmation, in response to his wife saying, why don’t you curse god and die…

Despite the pain and suffering Job was experiencing, his response was…

Job 19: 25. But I know that my Redeemer lives,

and in the end, He will stand upon the earth.

26. Even after my skin has been destroyed,

yet in my flesh I will see God.

27. I will see Him for myself;

my eyes will behold Him, and not as a stranger.

How my heart yearns within me!

Commentary:

A famous man once said, “Although I do not want to live as Christians do, I would like to die as they do” … Obviously this is impossible as a man living without Christ cannot please God, and without Faith this person will never be in the presence of God.

Paul writing to the Galatians encapsulated the key points of Jesus’ teaching. We will take a brief look back on Paul who was a persecutor of Christians, he even witnessed the stoning death of Steven, and how Saul later known as Paul became a Vessel of Christ. The Lord chose him and made him a vessel, in fact we read that Paul was not boasting when he said he know of a man that was taken to the third heaven… this is where he received the knowledge of the Good News that he was commissioned to bring to the Gentiles.

Christ our Redeemer has set us free!

Galatians 5 (NIV)

Freedom in Christ

5: 1.  It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Mark my words! Prayer:           Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer, Lord Jesus our Eternal Sovereign God, as we start this new week Lord, let each day be a day of Grace, and let Your Blessings flow to us and to all that we interact with. Lord we place You on High, and we stand at the empty Cross knowing that You ascended to the Throne of Righteousness, and we are privileged to come as You intercedes for us. Lord, we pray for our Nation and we ask that Your Will be done and bring us to You so that You may heal our land, we pray for our Visitors. Is God hearing our prayers? When was your last contact with Him? Stay in contact, because He wants to hear from you, and you will know He cares.             

We are all ‘Seekers” seekers of attention, seeker of the ‘Light’ seeking what else… fame & fortune?

Jesus said… Matthew 6:33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. In Context | Full Chapter |

Fame and Fortune come and go… Some ‘Famous’ individuals are known for their schemes, and one that is a Text-Book lesson taught in every business schools would be Carlo Ponzi.  Today all schemes that offers great and exorbitant returns are somewhat classified as a ‘Ponzi-Scheme’

Ponzi sought wealth and he received a misfortune instead, he became infamous.   Even today many ‘schemers’ are still deceiving others. But we will rely on the principle that all ‘ill-begotten fortunes will soon be lost’

For the record, Ponzi died a penniless person.

Deception is the main ingredients of all schemes…

The devil is a deceiver, and we must place things in its chronological order.  The Creation through to the fall of mankind to the lies of the devil in the garden of Eden, when we read about this in the Bible, it appeared that the devil was always present, but time wise there was a period when Adam and Eve were already in the garden, and there was a time when the devil was casted out of heaven and came to earth.   Therefore, chronologically it was after the devil landed on earth that he came to the Garden and started his deceitfulness.

So, let’s be seeker of Light, and the Light of the World is Jesus.

John 8:12

The power and the Glory of the Lord is described below…

Ezekiel 1:

25 Then there came a voice from above the vault over their heads as they stood with lowered wings. 26 Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne of lapis lazuli, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man. 27 I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.

This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

So, today the Almighty Messiah is not dressed in his sandals, He is surrounded by brilliant light.

It’s real… Imaging no care in the world, nothing to worry about? How could this be? Yes, there’s a way.

Thoughts for today…  There’s no ‘secret-sins’ beware all things hidden will be revealed… So, we must apply caution, and let the Grace of our Lord lead us by his Holy Spirit. “Be sure your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23

Narrow is the way to His Kingdom, but broad is the way to destruction.  Destruction here is defined as condemnation… Matthew 7:13

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at.

As Solomon said, all is vanity… Let’s say you just got your new car and at the supermarket lot, you find the first big ‘ding’ how do we react? With some remorse of not finding that ‘safe-zone’ to park your new car.  When it comes to cars, we are protective, and when it comes to guarding our actions, we are less apprehensive and pretty much go with the flow.  The latter is where we are to place our emphasis, as our walk with our Lord is more important that a box with four wheels. Our walk with our Lord is forever as we stay the course with decorum knowing our Lord is near with us as we journey through the shadow of death and we fear nothing as He is present.

Lord Jesus we come affirming You as our Messiah, and Lord as we humbly seek You and Your Glory is shining around us. Lord we thank You for the privilege of serving You and we ask Your divine Providence on our Visitors and us all. Lord Jesus to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

 Faith + Prayer = Power, nothing can compare to this equation. Not even   E = mc2 as this was a theory, but the Power of the Holy Spirit is always present.

Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity still stands….

 Here was a man who as a child they thought he had learning difficulties. Einstein did not speak until he was around eight years old, he disliked school and did poorly. Except for maths and physics.

Conversely, Jesus as a young boy sat in the temple and debated the elders and astonished them.

The theory of relativity was brilliant, but Jesus proved what Einstein wrote about. This is quantum physics. Jesus applied this by His ascension to heaven. Today we have the proof, yet it is not highly published that the great “I AM” Jesus went beyond the theory. He is the Thesis and He is the Living GOD.

Today, we have the proof, not the theory…

Jesus came, lived among us, died, and rose from death, and ascended to the throne of righteousness.

Yes, Jesus’s mission was to save us, not by words or theory, but he His Living Blood.

Now the “Living Blood” is much more than the Theory of Relativity, it is Super-Natural and cannot be proven in a Lab, yet His Redemptive Power of being Born again, by the Holy Spirit of the Trinity.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is somewhat incomprehensible.

But, applying the power of Faith + Prayer we have communion with God through Jesus and the Holy Spirit. This ‘Power’ through the Holy Spirit manifested to mankind, and it is experienced daily.

How can we say this… because God have given us a sound mind with Power.

2 Timothy 1:7

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline

Now to Him be the glory… Prayer: Lord Jesus because You said, we are a chosen generation, we are Holy and acceptable through Your Righteousness to come in the Holy Presence of the Father. Thank You Lord and bless our Visitors and by Your Divine Providence upon us all. Lord as You are the Light, we go in Peace trusting You and to You Lord Jesus is the power and the glory forever.  Amen.

Preparing for a trip requires planning, packing and be prepared, are you?

Jesus said:

In fact, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!” Luke 18:25

We are not defending what is known as “Prosperity Gospel” as Luke 12:15 states… 15 And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”

Romans 11:33-36 provides the order of God regarding His Providence to us…


      33Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! 34For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, OR WHO BECAME HIS COUNSELOR35Or WHO HAS FIRST GIVEN TO HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID BACK TO HIM AGAIN36For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.

For we know that… Psalm 50:10 For every beast of the forest is Mine, The cattle on a thousand hills. So, what’s our role in life? Knowing that we brought nothing… therefore, we are just a caretaker, a steward, a trustee and as such, we are given many benefits to fulfill the commission of using what He owns to grow His Kingdom.

As a Trustee for an estate, one is given charge, and the estate must be managed under a ‘Trust agreement’ the role of the Trustee is governed under a Trust indenture, which the Trustee must operate under specific covenants.

Jesus gave many examples to stewardships, as Paul outlined in Colossians 1:25. Of this church I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God.

The need for a faster Jet plane, a top luxury car and the best designer clothes and all the affluence of the world, when these are made idols, then this is when a God is offended.

To be able to gain ‘The Bags of Gold” that our Lord referred to, He said in Matthews 6: 33 Matthew 6:33

New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

As a custodian of what we receive as the Favor of our Lord, we need to continue to ‘Seek’ Him, and by Seeking Him we will ‘Love’ Him and His Love will overflow to others through us.

As Stewards we are just caretakers (Custodians) until we journey on to Glory in His presence, and this point all earthly possessions that we held are left behind.

In the above Scripture, our Lord is not telling us to go and trade Gold, He is saying that we must proclaim the Gospel and bring others to Him, just as He said, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

Romans 8:37-39 (NKJV)

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Prayer: Heavenly Father we have Victory in You through Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Imitating Christ’s Humility

As many congregations gather to worship the Lord… let us come let every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Remember that the love of God that radiates to us this Sunday should be shared with many and to Imitate Christ’s Humility… and do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

The foregoing is somewhat a tall order as some will rebuff or debase your humility. Why? Kindness is often mistaken for weakness.  This is why the Gift of Salvation so ‘Freely-given’ is often overlooked and material things takes precedent.  Do not envy the wealth of others, because in your heart you should know that your ’Real-Wealth’ is the truest wealth of all, as in your heart there rings a melody, and this is the love of Christ. Knowing that in Christ all things are possible.

When we read the events of the Old Testament, it is live a replay of War & Peace, the biblical events of the beginning included many battles, nations against nations but there were also moments of triumphs.                

The Israelites fought 15 battles, deposed 31 kings and then entered Canaan.

Human history is a constant scene of warfare. Even today, we have confrontations, many are conducted in the name of religious groups, and many are enemy of Christianity.

The moment of triumph comes from the Lord. The political landscape is driven by the media, and the media is no longer a News channel, it is a platform of opinions.  Mainstream media will make an extensive effort to edit out news items that show the positiveness of Salvation. 

But as Jesus said… go to the end of the city and shake the very dust off your feet.

Luke 9: 5

New International Version
If people do not welcome you, leave their town and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.

What we have here in the Good News…With all of life’s challenges, and facing the future, once thing we know that this journey is full of potholes, winding and twisting turns. But God will make the pathway straight, He will level the mountain and smooth the roads.

Psalm 85:13

Righteousness will go before Him And shall make His footsteps our pathway.

 

Proverbs 12:28

In the way of righteousness is life, And in its pathway, there is no death.

So, Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

So, while we seek God’s providence and prepare for a better tomorrow… while we can move mountains but without love, we are nothing…

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

No matter how well we prepare for Part-2, without His Grace we cannot achieve it.

Jesus came to ‘Fulfill His Mission to Redeem us, His mission was to be the Lamb of God, shedding His blood so that we shall sustain the Wrath of God.  So, when you have been washed in His Blood (by receiving Him) when the great and final Passover comes, just like those protected in Egypt when the angel of death passed over, the Blood of the lamb protected them.

 Because He (Jesus) is the Great ‘I AM’.  On earth, there’s no great ‘I AM’ So enjoy your successful Part-1 and be prepared for the Best of Part-2. 

So, the Great News (not just ‘good’) is the Best-News…

All the wealth of earth cannot be used… nothing here, except your living Soul is of Worth. How much is it worth? God said it is priceless and fully insured.

Worldly wealth is useful even for today and tomorrow. It can be used as our daily needs, above this, is your soul which is priceless.  While your soul is priceless, our possession, money and our knowledge are what God provided, we can use these to lay-up treasures in heaven. Not the money, but the use of this for the Glory of the Lord, by the use of these resources; to spread his Salvation and to make Him known.

By His Hold Spirit indwelling in you, He will guide you and His angels will encamp around you.

Psalm 34: 7 New International Version
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.

The Good News: Those that are Trusting in God will have the angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them. Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. Psalm 34: 7-9

    The best place you ever visited. Do you recall it?  What is a 4-Star resort? It will not even be close to what the Lord has prepared for each of us.

Travel the road... go past the bad and the ugly. Go this way today to find the good.

As we travel the road what seems to be good sometimes turn out to be the bad and ugly… in life we all have had our share of the good, bad & ugly. 

But 20/20 hindsight is of no help. Sometimes we can only hold ourselves to ending up with the bad. Why? We violated the principle of ‘Not to be unequally yoked’… the kindness mistaken as ‘weakness’ is a factor that invites infringement, that more often than not allow us to be taken advantage of.

Who are we? We are all among the good-bad & ugly. Unless we fit in the equation of what Jesus said…

Matthew 22: 37-40

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Today, a good read is Paul’s charge to Timothy.  Just as how Paul instructed Timothy while he was taking care of the Church in Ephesus, these instructions are very applicable to us even today…

Life’s journey can be productive and as we read what Dr. Graham said…

Each life is made up of mistakes and learning, waiting and growing, practicing patience and being persistent. By… Billy Graham (A quotation by Dr. Billy Graham)

All our lives are made up of mistakes, regardless if you are the king of a country, a kingdom or a continent. Hopefully we all will learn from our mistakes. As Dr. Graham outlined… ‘growing’, practicing and being patient with persistent, the answer will be successful, when we allow the Lord to be the Author and Finisher of our faith.

There’s no one on earth that can say ‘I have never made a mistake’ Moses did, Joshua did, and so did we.

But after all is said and done, taking all our ‘baggage’ to the cross, and allow Jesus to be the Author and Finisher, Like Moses and Joshua they finished well.

Moses in a rage struck the rock, and God was angry, yet God did let the water flow for the people. For this Moses was denied entry to the Promised Land.  

By Moses’ faith in God, God did grant Moses entry to a Higher mountain (Heaven); as we see Moses and Elijah at the Transfiguration of Jesus.

17 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. The Faithfulness of our Supreme Eternal God…

Today as we consider the love of Christ, we must acknowledge that He is the Same Yesterday, Today and Forever.

Jesus said… “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” Hebrews 13: 5

Commentary: One could say…I do not want to be a Christian, because if I do, I cannot continue to enjoy the things of this world, Let’s look at the verb ‘Enjoy’, this is a word derived from ‘rejoice’  it is an experience. Experience do not last forever, it is like the four little apples that I picked a few days ago, they are now no longer fresh and are not good for eating. So are the pleasures of the world, and many of these can leave you with guilt and remorse which is the price of sin. Not the apples, they can still be made into preserves and be enjoyed as a jelly. But the worldly life of a non-Christian leads to emptiness, therefore, without Christ the ‘enjoy’ is not real ‘Joy’… Joy is perpetual when you know Christ.

Trusting God and knowing Him leads to:

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear (loves) Him, and delivers them (you)... Oh, fear the Lord, you saints! There is no want to those who fear Him… Psalm 34: 7, 9 NKJV

The bible refers to believers as ‘Saints’ through Jesus Christ our Lord we have this privilege of receiving His Salvation by His Grace. Fortunately, no one can buy or earn His Salvation, otherwise heaven would be a place full of ‘boastful’ people. We are saved by His Grace and not of anything we do or can do.

When we have the knowledge of His Good News that He died and Rose Triumphantly and ascended to heaven where He said He went to prepare a place for you (if you know Him) what a privilege of being in touch with the Most-High at this moment. He said come to Him and He will give you rest.

The Christian life is full of Joy… Following Christ is what ‘Christianity’ means; and in Jesus we have that Victory and being filled with His Holy Spirit (His Comforter) we have the JOY.  Knowing that Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and forever… we have His assurance of Heaven to be a real place where Jesus is King of His Kingdom.

Right now, you can speak with the King of kings, you do not have to wait to get to heaven… you have access to Jesus because he said, “Come unto me”.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come... Lord today as we dedicate this week to You Lord, lead us and guide us, bless our Visitors and grant us all Your favors.  Lord we pray for all Your servants engaged in Your mission fields to be equipped as we look to You knowing that all our needs are provided by Your Grace. We pray in your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Could this be the year? No, the Lord did not forget us, there were 400 Years of silence, then! The magnificent Star shone down over Bethlehem declaring the birth of our Savior, Jesus.  The next time the event will be seen from the east or the west.

Is the Lord late on His return? Remembering the 400 ‘Silent-years’

The Silent years when Part One (the Old Testament) ended and the breaking of the news of the birth Jesus, the Messiah, the period of 400 years may. Or be so silent as we think.

Between the time of Malachi and the coming of the Messiah, several prophecies were fulfilled, including the 2,300 days of desecration between 171 and 165 B.C. (Daniel 8:14), but neither the fulfilled prophecies nor the 400 years the nation was given to study Scripture, to seek God (Psalm 43-44) and to prepare for the coming Messiah, was put to good use. In fact, those years blinded and deafened the nation to the point where most of the Jews could not even consider the concept of a humble Messiah (Zechariah 9:9Isaiah 6:10John 12:40).

Isaiah in earlier time about 700 years wrote about the coming Messiah, Isaiah 53 provided a vivid forecast of Christ as the Lamb of God. As we draw near to Easter which is the second most important event I human history. Easter is all about the Crucifixion and Resurrection of our Savior Jesus- “The Christ” the anointed One.

    and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
    and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,

           Let us stop �� for a moment and think of who could you share some Joy with? Just do it…

• JOY: Joy is mentioned 244 times in the Bible, considering the announcement of our Savior’s Birth… Luke 2:10

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.

• FAITH:         Romans 1:17

For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

                  As the first week of 2020 draws to an end, let this weekend be one of fifty-two full of Joy of the Lord, as the angel said… Peace and Joy to the world…

The Message of Peace has not been heard by many.  You may say ‘how could this be’? they have never read the Bible or do not have TV or Radio, or even Newspapers, these would be the natives in a remote jungle. 

But there’s no excuse for our politicians and leaders of government that constantly create strife and confrontation for political gain at the expense of the nation.

When the agenda is self-serving without any concerns for the real issues of: Abortion, human trafficking, pedophile, hunger, homelessness, illegal drugs and legal prescription abuses, plus Medicare fraud and waste. In Unisom, the political leaders should address these critical subjects, but tearing down the economy, displacing jobs, all in the name of gaining political edge, this is in fact an action just as severe as the unattended issues affecting our society. So, we add ‘Political-turmoil’ to the list of critical issues’.

A House divided against itself will not stand. The leaders of totalitarian countries that oppress their citizens, suppress Christians and kill innocent lives. Without naming any here, one can guess the name of the most populous nation, this country enforces forced abortions, close churches, restricts freedom of speech and has no opposition.  It is a dictatorship ran under a ‘sham’ election electing only the one candidate that installed himself as a virtual emperor for life.

As a Marxist member of a government with a democratic parliament once told me...” We will make this county a Marxist society, so I asked how? He replied... “democracy is vulnerable” this individual then associated himself with one of the most well-known dictators in the Caribbean. The end result, this Marxist eventually failed as the strong abiding Grace of the Lord prevail for the island nation.

With all the above said… There’s still hope, as nations with the deep faith in God will prevail. Leaders come and go but let us declare that 2020 will be a year of victory in Christ.

So, let’s set aside the political divide of the country, and for those that continue to deny Christ and to oppose the agenda of the Lord, let them be aware…

 This is the result of the ongoing political battle over the Border wall that the President promised the nation. So, today the President became ‘The Man of the Hour’ by standing firm on his demand for the funding of the Wall.

Commentary: Many of us may have experienced ‘Fraudulent-charges’ made on a credit card.  After dining at a restaurant, I checked my account and found that I was billed for $1,350 worth of Fireworks. Obviously, lunch was only $35. It took a few hours to get this removed and the card had to be replaced by the card company.  Today the Identity-theft is far more damaging, as this can do much more than charging to you purchases that you did not make.  The use of your ID is far more than just the charges, it is a violation of your personal rights.

In Thessalonians the apostle Paul wrote…

That no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. 1 Thessalonians 4:5-7 (in Context) 

See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.  1 Thessalonians 5:14-16 (in Context)

Thoughts for the Day: HAPPY NEW YEAR 2020 to all our readers, we wish you all a year full of our Lord’s blessings.

 Remember all that ‘glitter’ is not gold… and what industry leaders publish most times are false and misleading.

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Commentary:  The term ‘Low-Fat’, ‘low salt’ etc., are the new labelling for preserved food items. In a world bombarded by Television, Internet and billboards all promoting products that are deceitfully prepared and packaged. It is no wonder that ‘Healthcare’ is the main topic around the world.

Right after the Christmas and New Year we will see the media blitz of the ‘Weight Loss’ programs, these programs are just as deceitful as the causes of the problem.  No we are not starting the year on a negative stance, we are just reminding ourselves that anything in excess can be harmful and moderation is the watchword…

It is almost humorous when the largest fast-food giant sent out a message to their employees telling them not to eat the food as it causes obesity… It is like the pharmaceutical companies that spend 30 seconds advertising the medicine and 2 minutes telling us about the side-effects and how it could kill you.

The Word of God contains no deceit, the message is clear, and our Lord Jesus did speak in Parables, but there is a reason as our Lord used many metaphors to relate to us His messages.  The age-old saying ‘actions speak louder than words’… Jesus spoke about His Crucifixion, His Resurrection and His Ascension to His Father, and He did all three.

The Year is now 2,020 after the Birth of our Lord Jesus…   His Birth is the most factual event as we enter this New Year many will write the date on their checks entering the year 2020 in their correspondence and not even think of why it is the year 2020.  

While society is moving to erase Jesus from public prayers, the Cross from public places, maybe they need to change the year to what?  Guess what? all those that are seeking the removal of Jesus and the Cross form our schools, public buildings and even attempting to regulate where the Cross may be erected, they will get their own ‘Markers’ a tombstone that should read… herein lies a scoffer that will be told by Jesus; ‘Depart from me, I never knew you”, while we forgive them, may they come to know Christ that they may know real Victory.

HAPPY NEW YEAR... Let us take a Positive stance and say Praise You Lord Jesus for Your Faithfulness and Your Love for us as we look to that day when we shall see You Lord Jesus as You are. What a day that will be!

As we proceed to a new year, let us adopt the following practice and let 2020 be a year of JOY.

2) Bringing the Good News to many,

3) Reaching out to others; we are privileged to serve our eternal sovereign God, and HE is faithful, and we can count on Him knowing that he is our Redeemer.

It’s time for renewal… Unfortunately, none of us knows the future. In real life… when we purchase a new car with financing, we must produce ‘Proof of Insurance’  why? because we cannot drive it off the lot as the risk is too great that we may suffer an accident.

We tend to place the most important thing that we will ever own on a lesser value, this is our Soul, our actual being, that will live on forever. We place this at risk by not having the Assurance of the Redemption by our Lord that assures Life-Everlasting in a Place of Splendor.

No appointment necessary, come as you are… make the most important move you will ever make in your life… take the step of Faith now. Just say search me O God…

Focus: Being aware that I am a sinner is not enough; I cannot be a good person by works

Thoughts for the day: Who is your witness to your faith?  Do you walk the walk? How much piety do we express in our lives?

[The Race of Faith] Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

Commentary: Cloud is the new computer jargon as cloud seems endless and can be seen everywhere.  Privacy is a great concern to many. The Bible said we are surrounded by a great crowd (cloud) of witnesses so we are to lay aside the sin which will weigh us down, we are to run the race set before us with endurance. We are to keep looking at the Cross as the Cross is the crossroad that leads to Jesus.

15 so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world.

The Bible says, "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us" (1 John 1:8).

Principle: Good to know - before all things Our Father, His Son and His Holy Spirit were there. The Holy Trinity was there

The Bible says the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and God the Father created all things by Jesus Christ. "For by him"--that is, by Jesus Christ--"all things were created" (Colossians 1:16).

Principle:  Humbleness and Meekness shall triumph over pride and the boastful ones will be debased.  Pride debases those that boast and put their trust in money and earthly things….

 Do not brag about our own attainment

 To be a bold but yet be a humble person simultaneously

 Do not look back to past negative experiences look forward to the future in Christ

Approach every day by making Christ preeminent in our lives by starting with me (Self)

Have a zeal to serve Him, which we can say…I have found a friend in Christ

              Is your church a “Members’ Only’ place, then you need to find a better ‘Club’…Jesus was not a member of any particular church, He was there as the ‘Founder’, but they treated Him as an Outsider’. Can you be baptized there without being a member?

What is a Church?  

The word church … is put for the persons that are ordained for the ministry of the Gospel the clergy…

Church Membership

Church membership..., is it legalism or Spirituality? When Philip did baptize the Ethiopian without him being a member of the church. Factually, the Ethiopian became a member of the Body of Christ.

Many churches on a Sunday would introduce a new ‘Member’ and the congregation would applause the new member, but the next week this Person failed to show and dropped out.  “Membership” must be from the ️ heart, a commitment to Christ, not to the church. But if you love the Lord, then you will love the church as a Body of Christ… focused at building a ‘Home’ for the Body of Christ that are made up of born-again believers seeking to spread the Gospel.

A Church is where the Spirit of the Holy Father and Son are present.  As Jesus said…

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three gathers in My Name ...

For where two or three gathers in My name, there am I with them…

The Prophecy is being fulfilled daily… do you sense it? Be a witness for Christ as He is returning.

Today you can have a ‘Care-free’ moment, do it now come to Christ.

     The Omniscient of the Lord, He knows you and loves you, just ask Him if He does.

The answer from our Lord is… Yes, He loves us all. We see His love by His mercies. 

Consider this, if you built a house and allowed someone to live in it, and when you send your son to tell them that there is another place beyond this place, and your son told them the truth about themselves, but instead of welcoming your son, they killed him. Would you love those people?

Jesus spoke of the above, and this is exactly what they did to the Son of God.   Yet His mercies are still extended to each of us…

The Parable of the Wicked Vinedressers] “Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country.

The love of Christ goes far beyond what our mind can comprehend, or our eyes can see… His love Transends any extent of love we could offer the Lord.

The reference above is to ‘all things’…No, we are not referred to as ‘Things’ but The Lord is referring to our sins as ‘Things’ and our sins are reconciled through His Blood that is an atonement for the ‘things’ we have done against Him.

So, today we give Jesus…’The Christ’ God’s Anointed Holy One Preeminence in ‘all-things’ because through Him we have His reconciliation with the Father, and He; Jesus our Redeemer is One in the Father. Because…

Matthew 11:27 (Jesus spoke this)

All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

Yes! It is a Fact… Jesus is still the Only Way.  The Message is not ‘watered-down’ here.  Nothing has change in what Jesus said…

John 14:6  “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Note: Jesus did not say it because of arrogance, He said it because He loves ️ us and wants us all to come to Him into His Kingdom.

Once thing for sure, the Lord answers prayers, and He never forgets, He is Omniscient, He is Omnipotent, and our Lord will never leave us nor forsake us.  

The NKJV Bible mention the presence of Angels 190 times. One of the most profound visit of an angel was… Matthew 1:20

But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

The Divine Super-Natural powers of our God far exceeds our thinking abilities… so today we stand in awe of the great things our Lord has done for us; His Divine Redemption through his Crucifixion and His Triumphant Resurrection.  Knowing this we are more awe-struck that Jesus who is God Incarnate would do this for us, yes, he did!  Because we are His greatest treasures, when He created us in His Likeness

Born as a man, yet he is the ‘Great I Am’.  And he came to save you and us.

Thank You Lord Jesus for coming on the sole mission of saving sinners.

The Bible clearly shows that Jesus was fully human

As a child, he grew physically, intellectually, socially, and spiritually (Luke 2:40, 52).

He grew tired; he slept; he sweat; he was hungry and thirsty; he bled and died; his body was buried (Matt. 4:2; 8:24; Luke 22:44; John 4:6-7; 1908-42).

After he rose from the dead, he ate and drank with people and let them see his scars and touch his body (Luke 24:39-43; John 2027-29; Acts 10:41).

The Bible also clearly shows that Jesus was fully God

Jesus did on earth what only God can do: he commanded the forces of nature

 (Matt. 8:23-27; 14:22-33), forgave sins (Mark 2:1-12); claimed to be superior to the Sabbath law (John 5:17-18); and gave life to whomever he pleased (John 519-23).

Paul said that God purchased the church with his own blood (Acts 20:28).

Paul also said that the rulers of this world unwittingly crucified the Lord of glory (1 Cor. 2:8).

All the fullness of God's nature and being resides in Jesus' risen body (Col. 2:9).

Friday: December 27th, 2019

Herod the ‘great’ was not so great, as the Wisemen outsmarted him.  God could have stopped him, but Jesus was born to be like us, and experienced even death, which He conquered.

Here we see one of the biggest lies ever told by Herod...

Herod said…” so that I too may go and worship him."

The wisemen were truly wise, but they were warned; 12. And having been warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they withdrew to their country by another route.

But we know it was not Herod’s intention to come and worship Jesus. this was not his intention, as Prophesied in (Jeremiah 31:1-30)

16. When Herod saw that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was filled with rage. Sending orders, he put to death all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, according to the time he had learned from the Magi. 17. Then what was spoken through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled:

Born fully human… Yet He was God among us. 

Good to know - before all things The Trinity was there

The Bible says the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and God the Father created all things by Jesus Christ. "For by him"--that is, by Jesus Christ--"all things were created" (Colossians 1:16).

The Son is God,

*       The Word was God. (John 1:1-5, 14) Jesus is identified as

"the Word."

*       I and the Father are one. (John 10:30-33)

 Jesus' disciple Thomas addressed Jesus as "My Lord and my God." (John 20.28)

Jesus did not tell Thomas he was mistaken; instead Jesus accepted these titles. Other people in Scripture, notably Paul and Barnabas, refused to accept worship as gods (Acts 14).

*       "But about the Son he says, Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.” (Heb. 1:6-8)

*       "Therefore, God exalted him to the highest place and gave

him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Phil. 29-11)

The Trinity is a profound doctrine that must be accepted by faith. Accepting a doctrine by faith does not exclude reason, but it also means that we cannot always apply the same logic that we use in mathematics. Without the Trinity, the Christian doctrine of salvation cannot stand. Some religious groups that claim to believe in the God

Today as many congregations gather to worship the Lord… let us come let every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Remember that the love of God that radiates to us this Christmas Day should be shared with many and to Imitate Christ’s Humility… and do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

The little Town of Bethlehem was buzzing with the Joy of Jesus’ birth. It is amazing that God in His Majesty came as a babe, who was placed in a feeding trough.

We wrote about the ideal gift you would like for Christmas… Yes, its there waiting to be received by you. All you have to do is claim it, and it is yours to keep, and there are no transfer fee or tax to be paid.

It is a ‘Priceless’ Gift’ unique and cannot be purchased, but you and we are privileged to receive this unique Gift. Yes, God sent Jesus who brought this gift on the first Christmas day. As declared…

Luke 2:11

For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Commentary:

Our Lord needs nothing from us, except our Love and in exchange for this; He offered Ever-Lasting Life.  What a ‘Gift’.

Our Lord is a loving God, but He is also a God of a Consuming Fire…  We need to know this; and because He loves us, He wants only the best for us… What is the best? His Grace and His Love, so why is the Bible saying that the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom?  Because to not fear Him and to continue to sin, we are mocking our Lord. 

On this Christmas day our Lord Jesus came into this world from the splendor of His Kingdom, as said… for our sake He became poor.  Now you may be confused as many sermons preach that for our sake Jesus became poor, and if He was poor how could He help you?  His poverty was ‘Our’ baggage that He received; and at the Cross He took all of our baggage (Sins) and it was nailed to the Cross… Christ actually ‘Died’ at the moment of His saying, My Lord, My Lord… why have Your forsaken Me” this was the moment that our Sins were Divinely taken away as His Blood of Atonement was shed for us. Is Jesus still Poor?  Absolutely NOT… His Divine Resurrection was His Victory over this world, His Resurrection to Life (never repeated by anyone) proved His Supremacy, His Sovereignty, and our God Incarnate as Jesus is God with us…

As Jesus said…”it is Finished” the temple division was torn revealing our High-Priest, and by this, we are able to come to Jesus ‘The’ CHRIST.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

  1. Factually our Lord is not asking for your love because of fear of Him. He said, “If we love Him, keep His commandments” Just like when He came, He came as a Man and not as a King or as God Incarnate.

  1. The angel did make known… Matthew 1: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”

  1.  1 John 3:22 and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.

  1. 1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.

Hebrews 13:5 

Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,”

 Philippians 4: 6: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4: 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4: 19 & 20 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.

            Giving thanks... make a special place for God’s greatest Gift.

O Holy Night is my favorite Christmas Carol… This Carol always recall that God in His Majesty, our Creator came as Jesus-Yeshua for one reason to Redeem us. For many that cannot understand why we need Redemption, it is difficult for them to understand why they need to be Redeemed.

If they do not believe that it all started in the Garden of Eden, then it is hard to enlighten them.

Chronological teaching is a method that theologians must adopt…

Just like a good chef, he or her begin by giving some background on the origin of the dish being prepared. This, plus the gathering of the ingredients and how to blend it all together and then cook up a great entrée. So, Knowing how we got here is important to the unenlightened, and the chronological background will shed some light about why one must be saved.  Once he is enlightened by the chronological sequence that he or she is a part of what took place in the Garden of Eden, this will set the stage for that person to realize that we just didn’t happen. Our Creator made us in His likeness, and as such, we will never die. But just like our fore-parents Adam and Eve sinned, we being off-springs, inherited that blemish of Sin. In a future article we will discuss…how can I be an offspring when I am of another ethnic origin? We will address this in the coming month.

Have a zeal to serve Him, when we can say… I have found a friend in Christ, knowing that Ephesians 2: 8-9 is by His Grace…For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord thank You for Your Grace, Your Divine Redemption, and Your Unconditional love.  Lord we praise You and give You first place in all as we yield to You and seek a closer walk with You. Jesus Messiah, we thank You for being our Intercessor as we are presented to the Father by Your Righteousness and by Your Blood of Atonement we are saved.  Father we acknowledge that there is one God and one Mediator between You Father and man, and it is by You Lord Jesus Christ who gave Yourself a ransom for us all.  Lord let Your Holy Spirit be indwelling in us as we go in Faith.  Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your favors.           God’s greatest was given to us, how did you receive His Gift?

We wrote about the son that was asked by his dad…” Son, what would you like to receive for your college graduation? He said, I have been admiring the car that the dealer has in the showroom. His dad said… so be it.  The day of the graduation came, and the son came home and there was no car, only a Bible with a ribbon tied around it, laying on his bed. The son was so disappointed and stormed out of the house and never returned. A few months went by and his family sent a message and said, “hurry home your dad is gravely ill”, he came home but it was too late his dad had died earlier. The boy wondered into his old bedroom, the Bible was still there with the ribbon, he untied it and open it; and in the Bible was the title to the car he wanted.

So, the gift from Jesus may appear like the Bible, a gift of Grace that is a life of a binding love of the Lord, many may say I don’t want to be a Christian because they do not have fun.

They may even think that being a follower of Christ, it is because Christians need a ‘crutch’ that will aid them in their daily lives.  No, it’s not a crutch, it is the Grace. And His Grace is more than anything we can ever gain, and most certainly, we cannot gain it on our own.

So, open the Bible and be surprised… His Providence will overwhelm you.

Coming to our Lord:  Are you ready to be named as a ‘Joint-Heir’ a co-owner of His Kingdom?

Let’s us receive His ‘Priceless-Gift’ right now you can be named in the Lamb’s book of life… This is the book that will be opened as described in…

Now one may say if there are billions of people in this book, how long it will take for my name to be called.  We must stop to think, that in the Heavenly realms of our Creator, our DNA is not described in one paragraph, it takes a whole hard drive of a computer and more to decipher the composition of our DNA, or just one Cell of our bodies. 

So, our limited brainpower is always an impediment to us coming to our Lord and simply accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior. This is too simplistic, as humans we may question this Divine Power of our Lord to save us and declaring us to be Born-Again.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we Praise You for Your Graciousness and to You Lord we look forward to that day when we shall see You Lord. Lord thank You for Your assurance that those in You Lord will not see condemnation as You have condemned sin in the flesh, Lord in humility we recognize that you who knew no sin bore our sins and substituted Yourself for us so that we could be saved by your Blood. Lord in awe we come, and we humbly acknowledge that You our Supreme Eternal Savior is God in One of the Father and all things are possible in your Lord. We thank you for our Visitors and the privilege of serving You and we give you first place and to you lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

It is a ‘Priceless’ Gift’ unique and cannot be purchased, but you and we are privileged to receive this unique Gift. Yes, God sent Jesus who brought this gift on the first Christmas day. As declared…

‘A Savior’ …  Only the best for you and you are worth it.  Jesus said this, and it is the truth…

Commentary:

Our Lord needs nothing from us, except our Love and in exchange for this He offered Ever-Lasting Life.  What a ‘Gift’

Our Lord is a loving God, but He is also a God of a Consuming Fire…  We need to know this; and because He loves us, He wants only the best for us… What is the best? His Grace and His Love, so why is the Bible saying that the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom?  Because to not fear Him and to continue to sin, we are mocking our Lord.  How would you like to be told by someone that you are a good and reliable person, and behind your back this person slanders you and tells everyone the opposite and say that you are no good and you are not trustworthy?  The person slandering you probably do not fear you nor really loves you, as this ‘friend’ would not be really a friend indeed, rather he is your enemy.

Our Lord wants a ‘Sincere relationship, and sincerity is achieved only by a true relationship without any infidelity or action that will blemish the relationship, in other word let’s not attempt to Mock God, as He said, He will not be mocked… as Vengeance is His.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Factually our Lord is not asking for your love because of fear of Him. He said “If we love Him keep His commandments” Just like when He came, He came as a Man and not as a King or as God Incarnate, The angel did make known… Matthew 1: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”
 
 1 John 3:22 and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight. 1 John 3:21-23 (in Context)
 
1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.

As we cope with the daily things in our lives, some are challenging, and some are pleasant to experience.  Despite what we see around us, the growing rate of scoffers, substance abusers, crime and even human-trafficking, these will end on that fateful day, ‘The Day of the Lord’ but through Jesus our Lord we have Victory and He has provided a way for those who trust in Him, know Him and by accepting Him as our Savior, He has laid a way for the Best is yet to come.

So, today we come to our Lord knowing that only the Future that he offers is worthy of being owned. He had endowed this to each of us….

        Jesus said we are worth more than the birds… Our Happiness is deserved.

Jesus who is God… as He sees us from the inside out, what did He see in Saul?

As Saul was stuck on his way to Damascus which he was armed with warrants and breathing fire on his journey to capture Christians for persecution.

Yet, the Lord saw something in Saul that made the Lord chose this violent man. Maybe it was the dedication of how Saul with a vengeance persecuted Christian? We read that it was Saul who later was known as Paul was holding the clothes of those stoning Stephen to death. Was Saul at that time had a hand in the stoning of Stephen? We also read that Stephen asked Jesus to forgive those who were killing him.

In analyzing the events, we know of the Damascus road trip experience that transformed Saul from a violent persecutor of Christian to be one of the great apostles of Christ who said….” I am not ashamed of the Gospel”

Romans 1:16 New International Version
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

How could Jesus make this choice of choosing Saul to be the dedicated vessel carrying the message of salvation?  My opinion is… The Lord will not choose a wishy-washy half-hearted person, a poser or a superficial person. So, He chose Saul because of his dedication, and once Saul was transformed, he became the most dedicated bearer of the message of Salvation in Christ.

The event of Stephen who looked up as saw Jesus… here we saw Stephen in his last moment of peril asking Jesus to ‘Forgive’ his killers. Stephen knew that forgiving those that trespass against you was a criterion set forth by God…

As said in the Lord’s Prayer… “Forgive us of our trespass as we forgive those that trespass against us”. So, we saw; Stephen asking Jesus to forgive those putting him to death.

Finally, it is from the inside that the Lord sees us, and in Saul’s heart even when he was a persecutor of Christian, Jesus saw the dedication and when transformed Saul would be a dedicated servant.

And Stephen forgiving his enemy and asking Jesus to forgive those who were his persecutors.

We read the teaching of Paul almost daily, and Paul’s intimate walk with Jesus was created in a bond that was a moment (The Damascus Road experience) that is not normally experienced by us. As Paul, said…” I know of a man that was caught up to Paradise.  I can only assume, he met the Savior in person. Maybe Jesus was calling him to the throne to give Saul the full insight of the Glory of God. As Paul said he saw things that he could not speak about.

Friends…  there’s so much we do not know, and for those that need to see everything in black and white, we say, without faith, we cannot please God.

Hebrew 11: 6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him

If anyone that is seeking all the answers to life and the Divine power of the Lord, as said… man speaking to God, “God I can take this fruit make is into a larger specie, seedless and more resistance to pest”. So, God said… “start with your own dirt, water, seeds and air, and incidentally stop using the air that you breathe because I created all of them. Let me see how you can do anything without me or what I have created”.

Trust in the Lord and lean not on our own understanding.

 There is a reason for this statement, and it is because He is God and we are not.

The sovereignty of the Lord… Jesus the ‘great I Am’ as He said… “I Am HE” the entire contingent of Roman soldiers fell like dominoes. In the garden when He was betrayed by Judas who led the band of soldiers (a contingent consists of 300 soldiers).

I suppose that even the world itself wouldn't have room for the books ... 

This statement may sound illogical, as the world is a big place, imagine

 the world being full of books and more books. You may say how could this be? Stop and think, how many galaxies and planets are there? Billions and billions, and Jesus is the creator of it all, He knows every one of them by names, He made us all unique with unique fingerprints, voiceprints, unique eyes pupils and even the smallest living thing that reacts to fear. Have you ever stepped on an Ant nest? Why do they scatter? They are reacting the intrusion on their territory. So, when we see a hummingbird able to fly 4,000 miles to their winter home, and then fly home and return again next winter. These minute details and the millions of species, the earth’s composition of minerals, the regular dirt underfoot, consist of all essentials things that we are surrounded by: iron, aluminum, pottery, minerals and essential supplements for our health, and from the earth, we get our food, timber, cement, gold and silver, etc. so how many volumes of books would it take to catalog the creation of the Lord? Untold pages.

There so much we mere humans do not know, so remain calm and know that Jesus is God…

As we experience this season of Advent, let us know and share that, Jesus Immanuel… this means; “God with us?  

So, the next time you see an ant, just thing that they too are part of God’s creation.

Commentary: One could say that the most precious thing in our life is life itself.  This could be the most precious thing we possess, but what is life? It is just a vapor… James 4:14

Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. James 4:13-15 (in Context) James 4

Today we have the assurance of the faithfulness of our Lord… “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God”.  Philippians 15: 5

Because God loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life… John 3: 16

        If you had one wish, what would it be? Ask God, not Santa…

When God doesn’t answer… Your request has not been granted, why?

God hears all petitions, and even those from a child. We may think that a child may ask for simple things or even silly things.

So, as a child sitting on Santa’s lap when asked by Santa… “Little girl what would you like for Santa to bring to your house?” the little girl said… I want my mom to be well, she is sick.  A little boy next in line, when he got to Santa, he was asked,” little boy, what would you like from Santa?” The little boy said… I want my dad to find a job as we are in need.

Some adult request is not answered as the Bible said…

James 4:3

You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

In Context | 

But when you ask in the Name of Jesus, His response will be received, the answer may come in a different form from your request. This is because God know best and what we have need of. Because He said….

In our time of need He will be there…

Hebrews 4:16

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. In Context

Good News:  God will give us more than we deserve.

Commentary:  Just like when God told Moses that he was not allowed to cross into the Promised Land, Was God denying Moses the reward after Moses spent 40 years leading his people to Canaan? It certainly appeared unfair, but in Matthew we see Moses and Elijah appearing to Jesus at the Transfiguration.  Therefore, Moses was taken directly to Heaven and was not left at Mt. Pisgah.

Our God is not only a God of Love, He is a God with a sense of humor, just think of how God jammed the wheels of the chariots driven by Pharaoh’s soldiers chasing the Israelite crossing the Red Sea…  

Exodus 14:25 (NIV)

25 He jammed the wheels of their chariots so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, “Let’s get away from the Israelites! The Lord is fighting for them against Egypt.”

Imagine the enormity of Moses ’daily routine, leading a nation on foot, a nation without a country.  Moses had 603,550 armed men for war if all those men were living at the time (Numbers 1:46). These were all able-bodied men from the age of twenty (Numbers 1:45) to the age of retirement at year fifty (Numbers 4:3; John 8:57) or sometimes sixty (Leviticus 27:7). Assuming all the women, children and older people over fifty (or sixty) are included, the number of Israelites who left Egypt would have numbered about two and a half million.

Moses led these ‘stiff-necked’ people for 40 years, a nation on foot going to a country that they were going to inhabit and how wonderful should this be when they get there.  But the good times in the Promised-land were full of travesties and disappointments because of wayward-living.  Again, we see the similarity of God settling humans in a land of ‘Milk & Honey’ and we squandered it all, which is an earlier event of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.

Are you in your own land of ‘Milk & Honey’ today? Are you focused on the precepts of the Lord?  Have you tried what Jesus said? He said; “Seek Him and His Righteousness first”. 

The Lord made a ‘Covenant’ that no weapon formed against my people shall prosper.

Isaiah 54:17

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.

As we go today a Monday starting the week, we have the assurance of our Lord that He not only promised good things for those who loves Him, but He promised to keep you till that day when you shall see Him. Just do as he said…

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Many philanthropists say they are giving back to society and they make it known, Tax Credit is all they will ever receive, because Jesus said this in Matthew: 1-4

There are large philanthropists doing good things with their money. Some are well-meaning in their gifting, and some are just giving to ‘get’.   So how does one give to ‘get’? they seek fame, public recognition and this is a form of boasting.

The greatest philanthropist is our Almighty God… He created all things and gave dominion over all to us humans.  Then He gave us His Son, Jesus Emanuel who is God with us.

The Grace and Love of our Lord

His Sovereignty, His Majesty, His Love, His Redemption….

His Omniscient… Jesus is with us always, even to the ends of the age:  

Matthew 28:20  teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and loI am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

HE is Omnipotent:  From Jesus our Eternal God, we receive His Power through His Holy Spirit:

2 Peter 1:3 [Confirming One’s Calling and ElectionHis divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

His Love:   Our Sovereign God loves us so much He sent His Son to Redeem us

His Divine Providence

His Saving Grace:

2 Timothy 1:9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,

Commentary:

Our Lord Jesus is full of compassion, in fact as we read of Jesus’ association with His Disciples, He expressed more than brotherly love for them… He was their leader, their protector, their mentor and above all their Savior.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Our God is a God of Second Chance… He is there with open arms to welcome us home, provided we come in Faith and trust in Him.   Faith is a total belief in something that is unseen, and His Grace will be given to us when we come to Him. Grace is something that is totally un-deserved, and it is a divine gift from our Lord. We can get a ‘Grace period’ of 10 days when our phone bill is due, but you must ask for it. Know this… You are unique, there’s no one like you in this wide world. Why? Your DNA is the fingerprint of who you are.

Just like your actual fingerprint, your DNA fingerprint is something you are born with, it is unique to you. The first step of DNA fingerprinting was to extract DNA from a sample of human material, usually blood. Molecular ‘scissors’, called restriction enzymes, were used to cut the DNA.

As we end the week, let us Parise Him and be in Awe of His Majesty, His Love and as we adore Him, let us in Faith know Him and let Him be Known.

As she got up to glean, Boaz gave orders to his men, “Let her gather among the sheaves and don’t reprimand her.

Boaz gave and he received in return Ruth as his wife.  This was not by accident, as the lineage of Christ came through Boaz-Ruth to Jesse the father of David, and the genealogy of Jesus is through the Boaz-Ruth… Matthew 1: 2-16 Boaz had Obed (Ruth was the mother),
Obed had Jesse, Jesse had David, and David became king.

Down the line…

  Jacob had Joseph, Mary’s husband,

    the Mary who gave birth to Jesus,

    the Jesus who was called Christ.

17 There were fourteen generations from Abraham to David,

    another fourteen from David to the Babylonian exile,

    and yet another fourteen from the Babylonian exile to Christ.

    the Jesus who is Christ – Emanuel.

Looking at the outcome of Boaz’s kindness to Ruth and the outcome of the lineage leading to Joseph and Mary to the birth of the Messiah.

Do not ‘Blend-In’ – Shine by Being a child of LIGHT

Thoughts for today: To Reject Christ is to be condemned, to receive Christ there will be no condemnation

TEXT: Romans 8: 1 There is no condemnation now for those who live in union with Christ Jesus.

The Scriptures outlined…:  "He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God" (John 3:18).   An infant is not capable of rejecting Jesus Christ.   An infant is incapable of committing the sin mentioned in John 16:9.

 Although the Bible does not specifically declare that infants who die will go to heaven, there is a weight of Biblical evidence which points in this direction.  We can safely say that   infants who die will be safe in the arms of Jesus and will spend eternity with Him in heaven.

Some reasons are as follows:

1.  The Lord Jesus Christ died for all of Adam's race (for all mankind), including every infant that has ever been born.   Consider the following study:  For Whom Did Christ Die?  

2.  A person is condemned for rejecting Jesus Christ and for refusing to believe in Him:  "He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God" (John 3:18).   An infant is not capable of rejecting Jesus Christ.   An infant is incapable of committing the sin mentioned in John 16:9.

3.  Those who go to hell in 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 are those who have deliberately disobeyed the gospel by refusing to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.  Infants have not willfully disobeyed the gospel.   Note:  The heathen, who are not under the hearing of the gospel, are condemned for rejecting the lesser revelation that God has given to them (Rom. 1:20-21, etc.). For a detailed study of this see Romans chapter 1.  But an infant would also be incapable of rejecting this lesser revelation.

4.  Revelation 20:11-15 indicates that all of the unsaved are resurrected to appear before the Great White Throne, and twice it is stressed that each will be judged according to their works. It is doubtful that young infants are included in this evaluation.  What evil works has a 6-month-old baby committed?

5.  Consider the compassionate heart of God for those who are lost:  "Who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth" (1 Tim. 2:4--this is God's desire).   "Not willing that any should perish" (2 Pet. 3:9).  "Even so it is not the will of your Father, who is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish" (Matt. 18:14).  "I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked" (Ezekiel 33:11).  While these verses do not refer specifically to infants, they do teach us that the loving and merciful heart of our God desires the salvation of all men.

6. King David had a child by Bathsheba which died in infancy. David's words are significant:  "While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?  But now he is dead, why should I fast? Can I bring him back again?  I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me" (2 Samuel 12:22-23).

There is a story of an English citizen arrested in a south American country some years ago. This man was to face the firing squad, when the order was given to fire, the English consul suddenly ran forward and covered the man with the British flag, and then on the other side came the American consul and covered him with the American flag, this resulted in the man not being shot and released to the British consul for protection.

Just like the Blood of the Lamb during the Passover in Egypt that protected the first-born Israelite, once we have been cleansed by the Atoning Blood of Christ, then we are safer than being behind the English or American flags

Devotionals for Wednesday:  December 11, 2019

Water is Life…         Water is mentioned 636 times in the Bible, we are made up of 60% water, so without it we cannot exist…

And in Christ we have an eternal Spring that quenches our thirst forever… as He will lead you to Green Pastures and Still water.

Can we imagine the pristine water flowing in the Garden of Eden? Take a look at the rivers and many sources of water today, would you drink any without it being treated? Certainly not.  But there will be a fountain flowing where we can…

Principle: He is Faithful, and He said… Eden will be Restored

Revelation 22:

22 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

Will Sinners be allowed in Heaven?  Yes, will an enemy of God be allowed in Heaven? No, what is the difference?

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Commentary: To be a member of the Secret Service you must be considered a loyal person, while one could ‘fake’ it and be a mole, it is impossible for anyone to assimilate into the body of Christ without Faith in Him. Faith cannot save you, but it is the ‘Testing barometer’ by which our Lord can see the inner you.  Only His Grace can Save us.

The unforgivable sin is… Matthew 12:31

[The Unpardonable Sin] “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.

Unless we Surrender and be ‘True’ to our Lord Jesus, even in our sinful state Jesus will receive us when we commit it all to Him. Remember our Lord do not want or need anything from us, all He wants is our Faithfulness, no deceit, falsehood, posing or posturing can make us whole, only in Him we can be made ‘whole’ So with our Lord Jesus we cannot fake-it by repackaging ourselves

Our Lord Jesus is like the scanner at the Airport, but even at these scanners one can still beat the machines. With God who created us, He already knows that our ‘Righteousness is like a ‘filthy rag’, this is quite insulting, as you say I just came out of the shower I was at the Spa all day and I am rejuvenated?  Yes, you are unacceptable, the Lord’s Scanner will set of an alarm, because without His Blood of Atonement, we are blemished.

Jesus Paid-It-All, and His Blood of Atonement is the SEAL of His Righteousness that He gives us when we come to Him and accepts His Redemption. The Good News is… Jesus Christ rose Triumphantly, and He Lives and because He lives, we shall also life with Life-Everlasting in His Kingdom of Splendor.

Living a life that you never believe could be, a high esteem one or a low esteem one? With Christ, it’s high…

Where do you think our daily challenges are from? The Government, people, business, schools, or society at large? Most certainly it isn’t from the Lord… Because He said He would smooth our pathways.

 Luke 3:5

Every valley shall be filled And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough ways smooth;

So, God’s words of assurance can be relied upon, and through His enrichment we are able to take the high road and be filled with His Holy Spirit giving us a life of high esteem to be His ambassadors.

2 Corinthians 5:20

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

Example of an ambassador…

So, as an ambassador representing the Almightiest God, through His Son Jesus, are you fulfilling your key role? What is your key role? it is not just ‘coasting; till the Lord takes you home, it is not sitting waiting for that eventful day, which is the day you meet the Lord.  He made us to be ‘Fruitful and multiply… and this is done through “Knowing Christ and making Him known”

The Parable of the Minas

11 Now as they heard these things, He spoke another parable, because He was near Jerusalem and because they thought the kingdom of God would appear immediately. 12 Therefore He said: “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return.13 So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.’ 14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We will not have this man to reign over us.’

Jesus was born a King…

John 18:37

Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this because I was born, and for this because I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”

But, even as a King, Jesus came to serve and not to be served…


So, are we serving in His Name?  Take the ‘High-Road’ bring the Good News to many, and as Jesus taught… Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.

Use our talents for His Glory, walking the ‘walk’ is one talent that He has endowed, so be the Lord’s ambassador representing Him well, by asking Him to send you with His mission. Moses was 80 years old when God chose him to lead the Israelites out of bondage.

Heavenly Father today as we come and dedicate ourselves to serve You Lord, we thank You Jesus who came to serve and You Lord Jesus served us Your Divine Grace and Your Redemption. Lord Jesus thank you as we together with our Visitors come to serve You as the harvest is plenty and the workers are few.  We praise You and give You preeminence in our lives, to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Changing course… sometimes we must change direction and head in a different direction… Jesus said this… Shake the very dust off your feet.

Matthew 10:14

And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.

Every disappointment will lead to good… One of the most monumental disappointments in the Bible would be Saul’s being struck down on the road to Damascus, this led him to goodness as Jesus chose Saul to be a Vessel bringing Salvation to the world.

Today as we read the New Testament, we are reading a lot of Paul’s writing as he presented Jesus as the supreme eminent one who is God in One of the Father.

Colossians 1: 15-23 Christ’ Supremacy…(NKJV)

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Reconciled in Christ

19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

Coming to the Lord ritually will not reach Him… Our worship must be Spirit-filled knowing that we come without any other ‘idols’, not just leave them behind, but toss them away.  For our God is Jealous God…

Deuteronomy 32:16

What is our idol? It’s not necessarily a statute or a symbol, it could be anything that you pay more attention to, than the Lord.

The world’s demand for our time to cope with the daily requirements, we must be aware that we do not fall into the world’s enslavement of project management, etc.  Leave yourself time with the Lord and the demands of the daily details will become second place.

The bondage of sin…  Galatians 4: Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods. But now that you know God—or rather are known by God —how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?

Commentary:

Sin can be in many forms, even in one’s attempt to expound the gospel, and innocently, many learned men may have encroached on our Lord by trying to ‘exalt’ oneself in questioning the deity of our Lord and His supremacy.  As we discuss…

Man, in their finite thinking is missing the key elements and Facts… What are they? 

No. 1 = God, No. 2 = Creation, No. 3 = The Power of the Almighty.  Yes, it would take aeon and yet we could not achieve any of the grand designs of our Creator’s creation if we mere mortals were ‘trying’ to create the elements…

Conclusion:

Do not look for any ‘New’ Doctrine… all of what we need to know or will ever need are already contained in the Holy Bible. There is no need to add or modify the Word of God. We cannot trust in… ‘Hard work,’ fame, wealth, physical appearances and worst of all Pride all these can be gone in an instant. Only what’s done in Christ will Last.

       The answers to an abundant life are revealed, need to know? Get answers from the Bible, it’s in there…

Jesus reveal this, where? First, we will not add or subtract from God’s word.

Matthew 6:33 (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

What good is Oil without a drop of Water, without water you die, oil cannot quench your thirst.   God’s Grace is better than gold and it is never on Sale, it is Free, it’s even got your name on it. Claim it now.

Commentary:  The Streets of Heaven is paved with Gold like a reflecting mirror, Why? Because in God’s Kingdom nothing will be man-made, and man has not found a way to make Gold.


What’s better than Gold? Something that you cannot buy, earn or steal it. It cannot be handed down by your parents, nor can your best friend give this to you.

This is what’s better than gold…. The Gift of God’s Salvation through Jesus our Redeemer.

 For many Christians reading this they will say… I already know this so why are we talking about this?  Because Jesus gave us all His great commission. And this includes you, me and everyone.

What is His Great-Commission?

The Bible in many instances condemns the world… such as: Romans 12:2 (NIV)

Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Jesus… John 16: 33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Commentary: There was nothing wrong with the World because it is God’s Creation and He said ‘it was good’ but sin entered the world and man was led into a live that transformed this world into the place we now know.

Jesus makes us complete:  We are saved by Grace... Ephesians 2:8-9

8-9 For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it.

All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God…

 This is what our Lord said… “You Must be Born-Again” and being Born-Again, we are a new Creation.  

Therefore, our Lord said, we will be ‘Transformed’ and Sanctified… “Without Sin, in a place where there is no Sin, it is a place of Splendor filled with the presence of our Lord Jesus that radiates His Joy in a place He called Paradise.

Accept His Invitation today; come to our Lord as He is willing to accept you just as you are…

Pray:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and through You Lord Jesus we can be Redeemed as we come with a contrite heart seeking Your Forgiveness, Lord we thank you for Your Saving Grace and the many Visitors that we are privileged to serve for Your Glory, we give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

         2,019 years= 202 decades = 105,000 weeks. At age 100 you will live for 5,200 weeks, why these weeks?

In certain parts of Latin America, keeping appointments can be tardy… sometimes an appointment may be missed by a day without any major remorse, as it could be said…’What is a day between friends’

The adage of ‘Familiarity breeds contempt’ and ‘kindness mistaken for weakness’ these two practices are often applicable to one’s relationship with the Lord. Why? Our Lord is Loving, Gracious and is always ready to accept us, then His kindness is freely given, and he never impose on us His demand.

We thank the Lord for His Graciousness, His Love and His Providence. We also thank Him for giving us discernment to use the knowledge from Him to know that all good things are from Him.

Don’t worry about getting old… you are being ‘renewed’ not a new and improved, but being made the ultimate

2 Corinthians 4:16

Seeing the Invisible] Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

Devotional: 

Lord Jesus as we read Your Word of assurance, we thank You for Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us… Therefore, Lord for those that are having their loved ones being challenged Your assurance that all must come to You as a little-child, knowing that the best is yet to come, as you have provided a place of splendor for us all.

Coming to the Lord:

  1. The gospel Provides the hope in Christ. Be patient and determined to receive his holy spirit.  Be compassionate to all.  Be truthful and loving.  The main goal is the future in Christ. Ignore the call to be known, let the principle of ’I shall decrease and He must increase in life' prevail.

Jesus Messiah, we thank You for being our Intercessor as we are presented to the Father by Your Righteousness and by Your Blood of Atonement we are saved.  Father we acknowledge that there is one God and one Mediator between You Father and man, and it is by Your Son Jesus Christ who gave Himself a ransom for us all.  Lord let Your Holy Spirit be indwelling in us as we go in Faith.  Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your favors.      If Priceless? does it mean that it is free? Yes and No, but cannot be purchased, and can only be received…

In a world of ‘bait and switch’ if the deal sounds too good to be true, it probably not real.

Sales and marketing practices have made the salespeople of used-cars synonymous with liars and to be called a ‘used-car’ salesman, this is quite an insult.

The Lord Jesus is the only one that we can accept His word. In the case when He said…

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I ...

                                ... The thief comes not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy I am come that they
                                 might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. ...

               

Are you having an ‘Abundant-Life”? If you know Him, the answer will be yes.

But you may say…If life is abundant, where is my new house, my new car? Ask Him… He can make all things possible in His Name. But, be aware in the heavenly realms, Abundance is not material things, Jesus was saying, that our lives would abundantly bless with His Love, His Providence and full of Joy.

The ‘More’ Abundantly statement is a reference to the ‘Real’ abundance that He has provided.

What and where is this ‘Real-abundance’? remember He does not save you by silver or gold…

1 Peter 1:18 For you know that it was not with perishable things ...

    ... For you know that you were redeemed from your empty way of life inherited from the fathers, not with perishable things like silver or gold, ... 

       Why? Because we are saved by the precious Blood of Christ.

            Romans 5:9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much ...

            ... Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall                                           be saved from the wrath of God through Him. ...

  For the unenlightened, one may ask, why do I have to be saved?  And why am I being saved from?

First, we can say… I did not ask to be born, and here I am subject to the challenges of this world.  Why do we have the challenges of doing what we have to do? By probing here, we are getting close to the answer.

Secondly, humans weren’t supposed to be dealing with the daily challenges, working, making a living, dealing with health issues, aging and having strife, confrontation, wars and all that we hear or see on the evening News.

If this was not intended for us, then why are we here?

Because God evicted our fore parents from the place of Splendor that He created for us. This was Eden. From that time to now we are faced with a world that we have.  There will be a day when Eden will be restored, and even more like a city as described…

Revelation 21:18

... The material of the wall was jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. ... jasper. The city was pure gold, like pure glass. 

Getting there:

So, let us unwrap Jesus’ Priceless Gift…

The Gospel is the Good News, and this is all about Jesus and what He has done for you and us.

Matthew 24:14

14 This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

God Loves you, so He sent His Son Jesus to Redeem us.

John 3: 16 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

But you may say, “I am a good person” I do not steal, I do not break the law and I am aware that there is a God and Jesus is His Son, but I have nothing to do with Him”

Guess what? You are still a Sinner…Because as a descendant from Adam we are inherently born with the Sin inherited from Adam. All our righteousness and goodness are like a filthy rag. So, Jesus came because of the Love of God.  Come to Him now as our Lord Jesus is waiting to welcome you with open arms under Grace.

His Faithfulness:

You can receive His Redemption right now, Just come to Jesus and open your heart to Him by saying, Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, and I want to be saved by Your Grace and to receive Your Holy Spirit in my life to change me and make me a child of Yours, Lord come into my heart and I will be a living temple for Your Spirit to dwell, Lord Jesus I thank You for Your Salvation and the privilege of coming in Your Holy presence. Amen.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer and Your Holy Anointed Son, Jesus Messiah, we come and lift You up on High and Praise You for Your UN-Conditional Love and Your Redemption at Calvary. Lord we acknowledge You on the Throne of Righteousness and seek Your Divine intercession to grant us Your Peace and lead our Visitors to Green Pastures and Still Waters. Lord We commit all to You and give You the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ’

Beyond the Olympic Gold – a Far more Precious Medal ‘Un-earned’ and in fact Priceless...

Text: Romans 8: 14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs —heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Commentary: 

What a privilege our Lord has given us, this is far more valuable that all Olympic Gold Medals as the Olympic Gold is worth only $620.70 each. Imagine being CO-HEIR with Jesus?  Yes, and this is already confirmed, not just something we wish for and have to earn, it is already given to us, all we have to do is to receive it. There are no Judges, no dispute or can anyone contest it, as it is GIVEN by The Almighty!

Fortunately for an Olympian that won a Gold medal he or she is not depending on the round metal disc to be enriched by it.  It only contains less than $500 worth of gold; the balance is made up of silver and copper. Only by sponsored endorsements that will give them access to any financial rewards from the Gold Standing in their achievements.

 A Born-Again follower of Christ receives much more as the Gift from our Lord is Priceless and can never be lost, stolen or melted down.  The Gift of Salvation is ‘Forever’ and this Gift is in us, as we live forever, His Priceless Gift is not just a ‘Passageway’ to his Kingdom, it is a Gift of us being made a ‘New-Creation’ in His likeness.

We are told to run the Race looking to our Lord and savior as our Author and  Finisher of our Faith….1 Corinthians 9:24
The Need for Self-Discipline ] Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

When Jesus lived on earth for 33 years, He lived a sinless life, He extended His Love and He healed many, but His mission here was to Die on the Cross at Calvary for our sin.  Born of a Virgin, Crucified, rose from death by a Triumphant Resurrection, seen by thousands, and Ascended into Heaven

His Promise:

He made us Co-HEIRS, Heirs to His Kingdom, and His Kingdom is described as …

24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

Conclusion:

Jesus said… “I will never leave you nor forsake you”, but first we HAVE TO KNOW HIM, even though our Lord is omniscient with infinite awareness, He also said,  Ask, Seek and Knock, therefore A-S-K must be applied in a relationship with our Lord.

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Redeemer we come knowing that Jesus is God in One of  Your divine Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus our sovereign eternal God in One of our Father, we give You our Praises and as You have said that You will return and we will see your as You are, and for those of us that have already been received by You Lord Jesus we thank You for that day when we shall be reunited in Your Holy presence with our Loved Ones; and be in a Sanctified Place full of Splendor with Your Holy Presence. Lord we thank you for this day and our Visitors. In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, we pray and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore. Amen.

Was Santa Claus created to mock the Lord? Chris Kringle or Happy old St. Nick cannot replace Jesus…

Neither Chris Kringle nor Ole St. Nick exist; Only Jesus is alive. He is the same yesterday today and tomorrow.

The ‘Happy Holiday” has been predominantly replace with the Traditional Merry Christmas. Praise God.

Christmas is coming, and so will Christ as He came for the Masses = ChristMAS

The old saying… ‘Keep Christ in Christmas’ this is good, but sort of incorrect, why? There would be no ChristMAS without Christ, so, He is the origin and Lord as Christ for the Masses.

Christmas is celebrated all over the world, such as:

 to say, “Merry Christmas” in Russian is “S rozhdyestvom Hristovym!”, which means “Congratulations on the birth of Christ!”.

In Japan: Christmas time is not a formal, nationally recognized holiday in Japan, the Japanese culture has adopted the season's traditions and spirit over time. Cities celebrate Christmas through festivals and special events, and citizens celebrate the season with sentiment, presents and, of course, food.

In China: In only about one percent of people are Christians, so most people only know a few things about Christmas.

This Christmas let us know the real meaning of Christ-Mass, Our Lord Jesus came to save Mass of mankind.  We are reflecting back on the little girl watching the Christmas parade and a float with Baby Jesus in a Nativity setting was passing, the little girl said… “and they have to bring Jesus into this” who should be blamed for this? Are Parents, Schools, and Society? The answer is a combination of all.

Advent is a season observed in many Christian churches as a time of expectant waiting and preparation for the celebration of the Nativity of Jesus at Christmas as well as the return of Jesus at the second coming. 

Matthew 2:6 ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, Are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel.’” In Context | 

Matthew 25:32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. In Context

The above text will separate the believers (Born-Again), Praise the Lord that Jesus paid it all, and we have His Assurance…

Heavenly Father in Jesus or redeemer we come, Lord Jesus as we come into your Holy presence, we acknowledge that you are seated on the Throne of Righteousness.      Why do we have Christmas trees? Why do we decorate them?

There are many theories of how the Christmas tree was adopted. Here’s our take on why there are Christmas Tree.

Christ was Crucified on a wooden cross . so, the tree is symbolic of the Cross. The Adornment on the Tree which in earlier times would be Fruits and candles, this was to portray Christ as the Light of the World, the Gifts placed under the tree, this depicts the Priceless Gift of Salvation given by the Grace of God.

Christmas trees were considered a pagan tradition. Now Christmas trees are widely displayed even in some Jewish homes. All artificial trees are labelled with hat familiar tag…”made in China’, this is ironic as China being the most populous nation on earth, they too celebrate Christmas as a season without not knowing the reason.

The Real Reason for the Season:   Matthew 1: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”  (End of text)

This was told to Mary and then to Joseph, it was publicized, there were no CNN or BBC... The world then knew Jesus as the son of Joseph the carpenter.  The reason for His coming what to redeem us. 

Now one may ask why we needed His redemption.  As descendants from Adam, we all inherited the Sin that was committed in the Garden of Eden; God said ’Eat of the Fruit and you will surely die’ His description of death was a ‘Spiritual death’. Remember we were created in the likeness of God… God said ‘Let us’ create Man in our Likeness’ being in His likeness we never die, but there is a physical death but our Soul lives on… when God was referring to ‘Surely die’ He meant that our Soul would be separated from Him. 

Separation from God is described as being in a place where one is forever ‘dying’ but never dies, but being in a constant state of what is commonly known as ‘Hell’  Our God loved us so much that he sent His only Son Yeshua- Jesus to Redeem us at Calvary. This is the Gift, His Priceless Gift that we cannot purchase.

Conclusion:

To appreciate the coming of our Lord Jesus we must understand that He came because God loves us, and He came not to Judge the World, and He came to Save us through His Sacrifice.

The difference in Relationship and Fellowship...

Relation is knowing Fellowship is walking with.   Relationship is a binding bond, fellowship is

If we choose to be with Him and He considers us to be a branch of His Vine, He can release exponent growth that will shoot like the most bountiful grape vineyard bearing fruits that many will attracted to, which is His fragrance to be tasted so  many may know Him.

In the text above Jesus said… we did not choose Him, He chose you, me and all, and He has appointed you. Me and all to go and bear much fruit, and the kind of fruit that endures. 

What kind of fruit last forever” Fruit is considered perishable and in the ‘Fresh-market’ whatever we buy will only last a few days…? So, Jesus was telling us to bear much ‘Fruit’ meaning bring others to Him.  Of all the things created by our Lord, the Earth, Water, Animals, the Stars, the Lilies of the field, and the cattle on a thousand hills, nothing is considered more valuable than you. Me and everyone who He created in His Likeness, so today we thank our Lord for His Unconditional love for you, me and everyone… He (Jesus) not only loves us but He wants to ‘Reward’ us… and His Reward is gaining a lifetime with Him, and the Lifetime will be eternal.

The ‘key’ words in Jesus’ statement… ‘Whoever comes to Him’ will never go hungry, and ‘whoever believes in me’ will never be thirsty.

Now that we have seen the Faithfulness of our Lord Jesus, let us come to Him and Praise Him and thank Him for His Divine Providence.

We want to say that we should come to Jesus not just for what He will provide, but for His Unconditional love and His Divine Redemption, as He died once and conquered death by His Triumphant Resurrection, so come to Him, know Him, receive Him and He said all that call on His name shall be saved, and those He saved He made a Joint-Heir in His Kingdom.

Philippians 4:12

Accept His Invitation today; come to our Lord as He is willing to accept you just as you are…
