MORNING:

Topic:   You are not forgotten… raise your hand and ask for what He prepared for you…

These are the facts:

Jeremiah 1:5

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” In Context | Full Chapter |

  • God knew you even before you were conceived…

Psalm 139:

13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,     I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you     when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;  all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, God!  How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—
when I awake, I am still with you.

  • Jesus said…Ask and it shall be given… Mark 11: 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
  • Are you receiving His Providence?  Jesus asked…’Do you believe this?”

You may say I have tried all of the above and yet I am experiencing hardship…  Could it be as said in the Bible; You did not receive your request because you asked with intention that are not well meaning?

Scripture quote:  James 4:3 New International Version (NIV)When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

A Patient & Merciful God… God through His Son Jesus came that we could be saved from the consequences of our sins

His Eternal Faithfulness:

In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus said… John 10:30 I and the Father are one.” In Context | Full Chapter  and He also said…

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  In Context | Full Chapter |

Many pray to the Father without mentioning Jesus, while Jesus said He and the Father are ‘One’ going to the Father without the salutation of Jesus, knowing that He is our Mediator is like ‘by-passing the Lord.  Many pray to the Father and never mention Jesus until the end by a ‘sudden’ statement of… ‘In Jesus name we pray’, or sometimes never mentioning Jesus.

We feel that while praying Jesus is in our Midst, as He said so, and ending we give Jesus the Glory and knowing that we are praying to the Father through Jesus and therefore, we end by saying in Your Holy Name we pray Lord Jesus… Amen

The sudden third-party ending ‘In Jesus Name we pray’ treats the Lord as if He was ‘absent’ or He suddenly appeared on the scene.

When Stephen asked that his Spirit be received, who did he sought? Stephen said, “Jesus receive my spirit” Stephen did not say…” Father receive my Spirit’.

TEXT: Mark 11:22-24 New International Version (NIV)

22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly[a] I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

1 Peter 1:18-19 NIV

His Faithfulness-

And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.” John 10:28-30 NKJV

John 11:25-26 New King James Version (NKJV)

25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

Principle: The Good News is that God has a plan inspite of our shortcoming…

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:15-17 (in Context) John 3 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

Action/Coming to our Lord: Hebrews 11:6 NKJV

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter

MORNING:

Topic:
To be saved ‘from’ God? No, from His wrath, He saves because of His mercies

Why? If you were to break the law in your country what are the consequence? Man’s answer to law-breakers is Jail and other punishments that include losing your civil privileges, such as Voting and other rights when one is labelled as a felon.

The Wrath of God will be…

strong, stern, fierce filled with anger; deeply resentful indignation; ire.

Vengeance of punishment as the consequence of sin.

God said…Vengeance is His, Romans 12:19 [Full Chapter]

Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for itis written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.

Good News…

A Patient & Merciful God… God through His Son Jesus came that we could be saved from the consequences of our sins

2016 years ago, yes we are in 2016 and on that first day of our calendar year Christ was born in Bethlehem fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 53 written 700+ years before the first day of 2016.

Principle: The Good News is that God has a plan inspite of our shortcoming…

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:15-17 (in Context) John 3 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

He came so that we may have life and have it more abundantly… A statement made by Jesus himself; John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. In Context | Full Chapter |

His Redemption: 1 Peter 1:18-19 NIV

It is already done by the Redeemer:

Mark 11:22-24 New International Version (NIV)

22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Devotionals for Thursday, April 28th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:  Is it a challenge or a piece of cake? Which do you prefer?

David faced a challenge but he ended up eating Cake… We read of his confrontation with Nabal, who was an arrogant wealthy man who was also an ingrate… The Lord moves in a mysterious way to take out Nabal, but it was more divine, as Nabal died and David married his wife Abigail…

1 Samuel 25New International Version (NIV)

David, Nabal and Abigail

25 Now Samuel died, and all Israel assembled and mourned for him; and they buried him at his home in Ramah. Then David moved down into the Desert of Paran. [a]

A certain man in Maon, who had property there at Carmel, was very wealthy. He had a thousand goats and three thousand sheep, which he was shearing in Carmel. His name was Nabal and his wife’s name was Abigail. She was an intelligent and beautiful woman, but her husband was surly and mean in his dealings—he was a Calebite.

4 While David was in the wilderness, he heard that Nabal was shearing sheep. 5 So he sent ten young men and said to them, “Go up to Nabal at Carmel and greet him in my name. 6 Say to him: ‘Long life to you! Good health to you and your household! And good health to all that is yours!

7 “‘Now I hear that it is sheep-shearing time. When your shepherds were with us, we did not mistreat them, and the whole time they were at Carmel nothing of theirs was missing. 8 Ask your own servants and they will tell you. Therefore, be favorable toward my men, since we come at a festive time. Please give your servants and your son David whatever you can find for them.’”

9 When David’s men arrived, they gave Nabal this message in David’s name. Then they waited.

10 Nabal answered David’s servants, “Who is this David? Who is this son of Jesse? Many servants are breaking away from their masters these days. 11 Why should I take my bread and water, and the meat I have slaughtered for my shearers, and give it to men coming from who knows where?”

12 David’s men turned around and went back. When they arrived, they reported every word. 13 David said to his men, “Each of you strap on your sword!” So they did, and David strapped his on as well. About four hundred men went up with David, while two hundred stayed with the supplies.

14 One of the servants told Abigail, Nabal’s wife, “David sent messengers from the wilderness to give our master his greetings, but he hurled insults at them. 15 Yet these men were very good to us. They did not mistreat us, and the whole time we were out in the fields near them nothing was missing. 16 Night and day they were a wall around us the whole time we were herding our sheep near them. 17 Now think it over and see what you can do, because disaster is hanging over our master and his whole household. He is such a wicked man that no one can talk to him.”

18 Abigail acted quickly. She took two hundred loaves of bread, two skins of wine, five dressed sheep, five seahs[b] of roasted grain, a hundred cakes of raisins and two hundred cakes of pressed figs, and loaded them on donkeys. 19 Then she told her servants, “Go on ahead; I’ll follow you.” But she did not tell her husband Nabal.

20 As she came riding her donkey into a mountain ravine, there were David and his men descending toward her, and she met them. 21 David had just said, “It’s been useless—all my watching over this fellow’s property in the wilderness so that nothing of his was missing. He has paid me back evil for good. 22 May God deal with David, [c] be it ever so severely, if by morning I leave alive one male of all who belong to him!”

23 When Abigail saw David, she quickly got off her donkey and bowed down before David with her face to the ground. 24 She fell at his feet and said: “Pardon your servant, my lord, and let me speak to you; hear what your servant has to say. 25 Please pay no attention, my lord, to that wicked man Nabal. He is just like his name—his name means Fool, and folly goes with him. And as for me, your servant, I did not see the men my lord sent. 26 And now, my lord, as surely as the Lord your God lives and as you live, since the Lord has kept you from bloodshed and from avenging yourself with your own hands, may your enemies and all who are intent on harming my lord be like Nabal. 27 And let this gift, which your servant has brought to my lord, be given to the men who follow you.

28 “Please forgive your servant’s presumption. The Lord your God will certainly make a lasting dynasty for my lord, because you fight the Lord’s battles, and no wrongdoing will be found in you as long as you live. 29 Even though someone is pursuing you to take your life, the life of my lord will be bound securely in the bundle of the living by the Lord your God, but the lives of your enemies he will hurl away as from the pocket of a sling. 30 When the Lord has fulfilled for my lord every good thing he promised concerning him and has appointed him ruler over Israel, 31 my lord will not have on his conscience the staggering burden of needless bloodshed or of having avenged himself. And when the Lord your God has brought my lord success, remember your servant.”

32 David said to Abigail, “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who has sent you today to meet me. 33 May you be blessed for your good judgment and for keeping me from bloodshed this day and from avenging myself with my own hands. 34 Otherwise, as surely as the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, who has kept me from harming you, if you had not come quickly to meet me, not one male belonging to Nabal would have been left alive by daybreak.”

35 Then David accepted from her hand what she had brought him and said, “Go home in peace. I have heard your words and granted your request.”

36 When Abigail went to Nabal, he was in the house holding a banquet like that of a king. He was in high spirits and very drunk. So she told him nothing at all until daybreak. 37 Then in the morning, when Nabal was sober, his wife told him all these things, and his heart failed him and he became like a stone. 38 About ten days later, the Lord struck Nabal and he died.

39 When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, “Praise be to the Lord, who has upheld my cause against Nabal for treating me with contempt. He has kept his servant from doing wrong and has brought Nabal’s wrongdoing down on his own head.”

Then David sent word to Abigail, asking her to become his wife. 40 His servants went to Carmel and said to Abigail, “David has sent us to you to take you to become his wife.”

41 She bowed down with her face to the ground and said, “I am your servant and am ready to serve you and wash the feet of my lord’s servants.” 42 Abigail quickly got on a donkey and, attended by her five female servants, went with David’s messengers and became his wife. 43 David had also married Ahinoam of Jezreel, and they both were his wives. 44 But Saul had given his daughter Michal, David’s wife, to Paltie son of Laish, who was from Gallim.

Devotionals for Wednesday, April 27th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:  Stop searching, you have already conquered, or are you missing out?

The Good News is that God has a plan inspite of our shortcoming…

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:15-17 (in Context) John 3 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

Jesus made the following statement which we may think it is so simple and what Jesus said sounds easy…

Jesus did start His statement by saying…” Have Faith in God” the Key Word here is ‘Faith’ but the Activator and the source of the power is God and it is from God that make it happen.

The Bible also said we are ‘More than Conquerors’ and if this is so we have already conquered in His Name.

So today we claim Victory in Christ… as Jesus said; Mark 11: 23 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

What have you already received? If you have asked Jesus to come into your life you have already received Him…

Matthew 6:33-34 New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

His Faithfulness-

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

1 Peter 1:18-19 NIV

And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.” John 10:28-30 NKJV

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

1 Peter 1:18-19 NIV

For some of us that may be facing challenges, Jesus said if you have faith like a mustard seed you can move mountains…

Is there a mountain in your life today? Jesus also said…

Mark 11:23-25New International Version (NIV)

23 “Truly[a] I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Matthew 9:27-29New International Version (NIV)

Jesus Heals the Blind and the Mute

27 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”

28 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”

“Yes, Lord,” they replied.

29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”;

Faith… Mark 11: 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

His Faithfulness-

The Text above quoting Jesus… Because He said “whatever you ask in Prayer (In His Name) believe that you have received it” … meaning ‘Claim it in His Name.

MORNING:

Topic:  Love is more precious than Gold, Diamond or money…

Quote… “A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you.”  ― Elbert Hubbard

True & Lasting Love – Forever…

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

1 Peter 1:18-19 NIV

TEXT: 1 Corinthians 13 New International Version (NIV)

13 If I speak in the tongue of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

MORNING:

Focus: No Credit Card required, ‘Come and buy without money’

Isaiah 55:1

Invitation to the Thirsty] “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. In Context | Full Chapter |

Praise God for His Mercies, Know Him, go to Him through Jesus our Redeemer and our Sole Mediator, receive Him.

He saved because of His Mercies... But to receive His salvation we need to come to Him and ask to be forgiven of our sin and in exchange for our filthy rags He gives us His Seal of Redemption by His blood.

Principle:  Jesus is the Light of the World and His Kingdom - Forever

Text: John 1 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The Deity of Jesus Christ

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Commentary:

One of the first creation… God said…” Let there be light and there was Light” but He did not yet create the Sun, there was a diffusion of Light in a Gaseous form, but God declared let there be Light and then He said it was Good…

If the Sun was not yet created what was the source of this Light?  We must first look at John 1. In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Now we see the Light that God Declared...” Let there be Light” This will be revealed as we go to chapter 9… 9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Colossians 1: The Incomparable Christ

13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His Beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20. and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven. (End of Text)

His Creation is above man’s comprehension, as many are trying to bring the evolutionist theory into the school curriculum, our take on Evolution is; if evolution was a fact, then why is the ape that is in the Zoo for almost 35-40 years still sitting in his cage? If evolution was a fact, this old guy would be out driving around in his new Mercedes-Benz. Are we to assume that evolution is like the ‘Singing’ Frog, the story of the man excavating the foundation for a building that came across a box, he opened it and there was a Frog that started to sing like Al Jolson… so he figured he could make a lot of money by putting this Frog on stage, but each time he had a sold out theater, the frog would not sing, but right after refunding the patrons’ money, the Frog started to sing, he repeated this until he was broke, the moral of the store here, never believe in a Frog doing more than just croaking….  The same for the storyline of the evolutionists.

His Promise:

The good News are:

º We are created in His Likeness, and we will live forever.

º Christ died for our Sins

º He Rose Triumphantly

º He Ascended into Heaven

º He Sits on the Throne of Righteousness

º He is willing to forgive us of our sins

º If you come to Him and ask for forgiveness, He will give it

º Jesus Christ is our Mediator and our Sovereign God

º When we are saved, we receive an Eternal life of Joy in Him

º He is coming again

º All those that are still here will be caught up in the air to Him

º His Kingdom will be fully Sanctified and Sinless

º We will be reunited with our loved ones

His Faithfulness:

Creation is His painting with the beauty and wonder of it all

What kind of God Would God be if he did not communicate with us?

So God speaks through His Word; the Word is Christ

God's enjoyment of what He was doing in creating the heavens & the earth. And us he said it was Good

God really made it all for man because He loved us

His great design was by intelligent design

The Christian doctrine of creation is that God made this all for us, as He gave us dominion over everything

We fail to appreciate his creation as He made it all for us, so thank Him for the majesty of His marvelous creation

We are privileged of being made in His likeness,

Principle: God delights in his creation

God placed us here to enjoy the worship of him and the intimacy of his love for us

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Prayer is the ‘Pillar of Faith’ and coming to our Lord many times each day will strengthen us against the temptation, and He will make a way for us to overcome the wiles of the devil. Praise our Lord Jesus for He said…” Greater is He in you that who is in this world’ meaning by His Spirit in You can do all things through Him, Christ Jesus.

His Faithfulness:

Yes, you can have that personal-relationship with Jesus today…

Conclusion:

What is Man that our God is so concerned with our well-being? He created us, He numbered our days, and He also made a way for us to be in Eternity with Him.  Because the Eden Restored will be sinless and pure not because we are capable of being good on our own, He died for our sin, and He has prepared a ‘Sanctified’ Place which is Sinless and we humans will be Transformed, and be in a place of Splendor where our Eternal Sovereign God will radiate His Love and His Holy Spirit that will abide in us will in keep us in Harmony with our Lord.

Prayer:

Father we come today in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that You are the Light of the World, and that on the first day, as our Creator said…” Let there be light” and there was light, Lord we also read that our Creator did not create the Sun until the fourth day, so therefore Lord, it was Your Divine Radiance that illuminated the darkness. Lord we thank you for Your Love and we are privileged to serve You knowing that You are the same yesterday and forever. Lord bless our Visitors to this Website, grant Your Favors to all Lord, as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen

Devotionals for Saturday, April 23rd, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:  The Best is Yet to come, Yes, it will be better than the Good Ole’ days…get in line now!

Topic: Jesus said He came that we would have life and have it more abundantly…

Text: Revelation 3:20

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.  Revelation 3:19-21 (in Context) Revelation 3 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary: Behold my Jesus stands at the door and knock. While He can enter without opening the door, but He is calling me to receive Him, and His mission is to bring me Joy, as he said as I stand at the door and know and if I answers, He will come in and dine with me.  What a privilege this would be to sit at a table set by my Lord and to be just like when He sat at dinner with the disciples.

Just think how Jesus would bring me great news of what he has prepared for me and to give me insight of what to come? I can imagine that the table setting would be with delicacies of fruits, nectars, fishes, meat and bread.  I can imagine how He would pray over the setting and thank His Father and then feast with me as He prepared only the best.

Yes, my Jesus has been at my door and He came because He wants to give me Peace, Joy, Hope, His Love, His care and His plan for my life.

Today as I gather with all my friends and families, I will Thank Him and Praise Him for His Graciousness knowing that it is only by His Grace that I am saved and journeying to His Kingdom, where He has prepared a place for me.

Jesus said…” I am not of this world” what did He mean by this statement? No need to wonder about this.  He ascended to Heaven, But He did not abandon us; He said The Holy Spirit would be with us while He went to His Father. The same Holy Spirit that descended on the day of Pentecost where 5,000 came to Jesus through Peter’s telling them the Good News, this Holy Spirit is with us right now.

Jesus said… “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them”.

Matthew 18: 20.

Jesus said we must have Faith and Faith is a belief in something unseen, He said if we have faith like a grain of mustard see, (which is the size of this. dot) we can move mountains.  Jesus spoke about mountains, and these are ‘mountains’ in our lives... such as: Health, Finances, Families, Relationships and our love for others like ourselves.

We have heard it many times, have faith in God… this is a good saying, but it cannot save us, it is like knowing that the pharmaceutical product that is well known to cure what you may have, you know of it, but you do not have a prescription because you haven’t been to the doctor. The same principle applies you can ‘Know of’ Jesus and you also know that he can save you and give you His Peace, but you haven’t come to Him and introduce yourself to Him and ask Him to give You His Grace. His ‘GRACE’ is what saves.

His Grace is the ‘Gap’ between your acceptance of Him as Your Savior and the time when you enter His Kingdom at which time you will be fully sanctified and free from sin forever.

Now His Grace covers a period which is the ‘Gap’ when you are saved and have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we are still sinners but under Grace, and now that you are saved, Jesus will be your Intercessor, as we now have an advocate with Jesus.  So as an enlightened sinner now redeemed, we are like a ‘recovering alcoholic’ that lives by each day to remain sober, so we as an enlightened sinner will do the same, but we have the Holy Spirit that is now with us.  Remembering that it is not what we do that saves us, it is by the ‘Grace’ of God through His Blood.

Principle: When you know the Lord Jesus He will give you a clean heart, and He will renew your Spirit with a clear mind.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 NASB

Action/Coming to our Lord:

1 John 5:14-15

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

EVENING:

Conclusion:

We all know of the 23rd Psalm, The Lord is my Shepherd… We think it should read; I am a sheep in my Lord’s flock, and I shall not want.  While our Lord referred to himself as a Shepherd, we preferred to put this in the context that we are sheep in His flock, why? He is the Owner of the flock, and He cares for us. No, we are not re-writing the Bible Text, but our Lord is the Sovereign Eternal God, and not a ‘Shepherd’ like David who was a shepherd-boy.

So when Jesus knocks, open the door and let Him in, His saying is faithful, and all what is stated in Psalm 23 He will do.

Hebrews 3:15

while it is said, “Today if you hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts, as when they provoked Me.”

Hebrews 3:14-16 (in Context) Hebrews 3 (Whole Chapter)

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:9-11 (in Context) John 10 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, Ephesians 3:19-21 (in Context) Ephesians 3 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

2 Peter 1:11 for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.2 Peter 1:10-12 (in Context) 2 Peter 1 (Whole Chapter)

The streets in Heaven are paved with Gold…  but getting there we have many challenges; only by the Grace of our Lord we can reach our final destination of Splendor.

Ephesians 2:8-9 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that 2,013 years ago when You came to earth, You came so that we will have life and have it more abundantly. Lord we thank You for Your Covenant of Grace, and it is by Your Grace that we are saved.  Lord thank You for bring the Visitors to this site, as we are privileged to serve You and all for Your Glory Lord. Bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Peace as we thank you for Your Favors. Lord today be with us as we look to You knowing that all things work for Good to those that loves You Lord. Devotionals for Friday, April 22nd, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:  Who is in charge? Where is the money? Why are the governments of the world going broke?

A few days ago we spoke about having ‘proof’ to back up one’s faith…. with government spending the future of the next generation as we see the deficit spending in the USA at almost a trillion dollars per year, the question is where did it go and what have they accomplished with this enormous sum?

For many ‘Proof’ of the Divine Birth of Jesus, the creation and Jesus’ Resurrection are what they seek the evidence, but they will accept  the Trillions of dollars spent by government without accountability.

Our answer to who is in charge… God is ultimately in charge as nothing here is creation by man  except for the mismanagement, the squander of resources and the burden to many displaced individuals.

The Good News is that God has a plan inspite of our shortcoming…

TEXT: Jeremiah 29:11-12 New International Version (NIV)

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

Jesus said…

And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.” John 10:28-30 NKJV

Principle:  Safety is found only in the Lord and provided by Jesus our Redeemer who has set us aside.

His Faithfulness:

Matthew 28:19-20 New International Version (NIV)

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Thanks be to our Lord and Savior who came…

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:15-17 (in Context) John 3 (Whole Chapter)

Action/Coming to our Lord: Hebrews 11:6 NKJV

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion

Come to our Lord today as He said come unto Him and He will receive you and forgive you of your sin(s) and you will be a new creation in Christ.

Pray... Lord Jesus I come in Faith accepting Your gift of Salvation and chose to be alive in You by your Grace my Lord. Lord Jesus receive me as I repent of my sin and accept your great Salvation by your Blood of Atonement, and I seek Your divine guidance in my life, to you Lord be the Glory... Amen.

Thank you for coming to Christ, seek Him while He may be found…. Welcome to His Kingdom.

Devotionals for Thursday April 21, 2016

MORNING:

Topic: What’s in your basket is there something for that person in need?

Considering that self-preservation is an inborn trait that we all possess. Just as how Peter denied Christ at the arrest of Jesus… Jesus had foretold him that Peter would deny Him.

Matthew 26:33-35New International Version (NIV)

33 Peter replied, “Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will.”

34 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.

35 But Peter declared, “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.” And all the other disciples said the same.

But Peter denied Christ and as he did the third time the rooster crowed…

http://www.pieceblackset.com/simgs/V_2S71GIKVwbroY._5SFY1500_5S.wctSo today as we ask what’s in the basket? Many of us may not be thinking of the other person in need, as we focus on our self-preservation trait.

In an airplane when there is a decompression of the cabin (an event that causes loss of oxygen in the cabin) you are told to first place the mask on your own nose first before helping others. This is to avoid you passing out becoming incapacitated and not being able to place the mask on a child traveling with you.

God in His infinite design also gave us an instinct of caring for others. And it is a privilege to be able to provide for others. When we give we receive more than the gratification, we also fulfill the 2nd great commandment which is… To love your neighbor as yourself.

In a world of high demand, you may say having ‘just enough’ is what I have and being able to help others it is not possible. This is using our own judgment but with Christ, He did make it possible for you to have the abundance that you will be able to provide for others.

  1. TEXT: Matthew 6:33-34Good News Translation (GNT)

33 Instead, be concerned above everything else with the Kingdom of God and with what he requires of you, and he will provide you with all these other things. 34 So do not worry about tomorrow; it will have enough worries of its own. There is no need to add to the troubles each day brings. Good News Translation (GNT) Copyright © 1992 by American Bible Society

Luke 10:25-37 The Good Samaritan…

[25] On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?"

[26] "What is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do you read it?"

[27] He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

[28] "You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live."

[29] But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?"

[30] In reply Jesus said: "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead.
[31] A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side.
[32] So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.

[33] But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.
[34] He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him. [35] The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said, 'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.'

[36] "Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?"

[37] The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him."

Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise."

The Faithfulness of God:

Jesus after His Resurrection, told the angel to give Mary a special message to Peter… Following the denial of Christ by Peter, yet Jesus remembered Peter and forgave him because the Lord knew Peter was just a man…

Mark 16:6-8New King James Version (NKJV)

The following is what happened when Mary went to the tomb and she saw an angel…

But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.”

So they went out quickly[a] and fled from the tomb, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

Let us turn to the brotherly love for our Jewish friends as they face the constant bombardment from their neighboring Arabs, and now the deception of the Iranians… As we read about the deception of the Gibeonite against Joshua, today there is mass-deceptions being carried on by many including nation against nations. We address the Iran nuclear deal and the release of billions while our nation is being deceived and not doing what Joshua should have done…  The Israelites failed to inquire of the Lord when they were being deceived by the Gibeonites.

The deception of the Israelites by the Gibeonites gave them no victory but they were spared and placed into service to serve the Lord’s temple as woodcutters and water-carriers.

The deception being carried out by the Iranians will result in a nuclear-arms race and the outcome of this will still be fruitless, why? Because God said…” No weapons formed against my people will prosper”

TEXT: Isaiah 54:17  No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord. In Context | Full Chapter

Application:

On a personal level we face deceptions on a daily basis. As the devil is on a constant prowl…

1 Peter 5:8 [Full Chapter] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

EVENING:

Be armed with the ultimate weapon…

Ephesians 6: 14-17 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Ephesians 6:10-18
[Full Chapter] [TheWhole Armor of God] Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. ...

Principle: Be sober, be vigilant and always inquire of the Lord and place your Trust in Christ, make Him the Author and Finisher of your Faith.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…  Lord as we learn from the event of the Gibeonite against Your servant Joshua, we seek to bring everything to You and to make You the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Lord today we thank You for this opportunity to tell of Your Divine Power and Your Everlasting Covenant to Your people that no weapon formed against us will prevail. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we seek Your blessings on us all. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Topic:  Do you need ‘Proof’ to back up your ‘Faith’? how did the Sun go dark for 3 hours?

What proof do you need? Faith is the belief in something unseen… believing that the sandwich you will have for lunch today will be good and nutritious, why because of the name of the restaurant and its reputation?  A famous chain of restaurant had E. coli outbreaks in multiple states causing the value of the company to fall by ten billion dollars.

This chain had a following of customers that would stand in lines for long duration to be served. Surely these diners had a lot of ‘Faith’ in this chain.   They did not need ‘Proof’ but they surely received the ‘proof’ of multistate outbreaks.  Many of us need that proof-positive to be a believer.

One of the most baffling events was when the Sun went dark for a whole three-hours at Calvary when Christ was crucified.  God was giving mankind a sampling of the events to come, as it is said in Revelation that the Sun will no longer shine and earth will be left bare, burnt up.  But All things be become New as God said there will be a New Kingdom.

His Kingdom will not be made by man and because nothing will be man-made we see that the common building blocks will be solid-gold.  To date this is one element that man has not reproduced, we can make industrial diamond, simulated Ruby, Emerald, Amethyst and other precious stones but not Gold.

God made us with ‘Free-will’ this demonstrated His Faith and trust in us, but His trust was betrayed.  God still have faith in us, but He is not relying on us, so He  “the Most High God does not live in houses built byhuman hands; as the prophet says, Acts 7:48 In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

His Faithfulness- His Divine Grace and Eternal Promise:

While God is not relying on man to build His Kingdom, He has reserved a place in His Kingdom for each of us whose name is in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Action/Coming to our LordHebrews 11:6 Good News Translation (GNT)

No one can please God without faith, for whoever comes to God must have faith that God exists and rewards those who seek him.

Conclusion:

Come to our Lord today as He said come unto Him and He will receive you and forgive you of your sin(s) and you will be a new creation in Christ.

Pray... Lord Jesus I come in Faith accepting Your gift of Salvation and chose to be alive in You by your Grace my Lord. Lord Jesus receive me as I repent of my sin and accept your great Salvation by your Blood of Atonement, and I seek Your divine guidance in my life, to you Lord be the Glory... Amen.

We thank You for praying the above prayer and receiving the Lord as your Savior…

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we come to praise You and proclaim You as our Eternal-Sovereign God. Lord today as we stand at the empty cross we acknowledge in Faith that You are on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord we thank You for Your Grace and we thank You for the privilege of serving You Lord. Topic:  Look for the Goodness and hold fast…  apply the ‘Rejected’ stamp on defective things what are abominable to the Lord…

Lord we thank You for Your Omniscience Your Grace and Your Redemption…

Because You Are Holy and Worthy Lord we come this day to thank You for hearing our prayers as You Lord is ever near and ever Faithful… Jesus Messiah we praise You for You Graciousness and Your Divine Redemption.

There are many people that rather look for the negative side of things than to enjoy the moment of God’s great wonder.

Every Sunrise is a beautiful thing to behold…Did God place you in a setting that are surrounded by flowering trees and the fragrance of His creation? Maybe you are and you do not see it as it could be overshadowed by the day’s task that we face.  We suggest placing the task in the background and let God’s splendor be in the foreground.

In the Rose Bowl Parade which is one of the grandest Parade of all featuring Floats decorated with flowers and nothing but natural elements, the machinery and the bodies of the vehicles are all covered with Rose Petals or some other flowers.

The same for our daily routine, let the ‘Power’ in the name of Jesus lead the way starting this very moment.  Because there is nothing more powerful than the Name of Jesus…  Break every chain in the Name of Jesus… Cast-off the things that bound you that are a bondage … Because Jesus has set you free… just as we oversight the beauty of His Creation, let us not oversight His Power, call on Him today and let the Power of our Majestic Lord be released in you today.

Principle: If Christ be for us who can be against us?

His Faithfulness-

Romans 8: 28-39 The Good News Translation

28 We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose. 29 Those whom God had already chosen he also set apart to become like his Son, so that the Son would be the first among many believers. 30 And so those whom God set apart, he called; and those he called, he put right with himself, and he shared his glory with them.

God's Love in Christ Jesus

31 In view of all this, what can we say? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 Certainly not God, who did not even keep back his own Son, but offered him for us all! He gave us his Son—will he not also freely give us all things? 33 Who will accuse God's chosen people? God himself declares them not guilty! 34 Who, then, will condemn them? Not Christ Jesus, who died, or rather, who was raised to life and is at the right side of God, pleading with him for us! 35 Who, then, can separate us from the love of Christ? Can trouble do it, or hardship or persecution or hunger or poverty or danger or death? 36 As the scripture says,

“For your sake we are in danger of death at all times; we are treated like sheep that are going to be slaughtered.”

37 No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us! 38 For I am certain that nothing can separate us from his love: neither death nor life, neither angels nor other heavenly rulers or powers, neither the present nor the future, 39 neither the world above nor the world below—there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from the love of God which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Devotionals for Monday, April 18th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:  No Internet connection required, never a busy signal, God is always ready to receive you…

Lord we thank You for Your Omniscience Your Grace and Your Redemption…

Because You Are Holy and Worthy Lord we come this day to thank You for hearing our prayers as You Lord is ever near and ever Faithful.

Today business cards feature the ‘Direct’ phone numbers of the person, years ago all calls to a business went through a main operator, it may be because of a more ‘personal’ approach or because of a staff cut that the direct access are now prevalent.

God did not do a ‘staff-cut’ He never needed a ‘Gate-keeper’ nor was he unable to handle all the calls at once.

Today the world community has been shrunken placing us in touch with others in another continent in an instant, the Internet is a very useful tool and when used for its purposes it is almost instantaneous reaching friends and families; but there are predators prowling the Net seeking to harm children and are luring innocent ones into a state of bondage…  The threat of a predator in their attempt to intimidate others are becoming worse than any known street bandits or organized crime syndicates.  So we draw the parallel of these predators in comparison to the devil that is on the prowl seeking those he can devour.

All victims start by some seemingly innocent attempt, driven by curiosity, but when we take part in any dialogue with strangers, we are in fact giving them authority, and as said, the devil cannot use us unless we grant him our approval. Therefore, the best deterrent is not to participate in any chat room or interact with any unknown party in any way.

We must be armed with the Shield of Truth and with His Word; in Jesus name we can overcome the perpetuator’s intent to entrap innocent ones.  Therefore, rather than spend time exploring sites that are known to be of improper or an illicit source, spend the time reading about the Life of Christ and His teaching. Start by finding a Bible Study plan and use the tools and references to gain insight into having the assurance of our Lord’s seal of Redemption giving you the Power by His Love

His Faithfulness- His Graciousness:

We can count on our Lord’s graciousness, and He said He will never leave us nor forsake us.  Finally, we want to remind everyone that it is not Faith that saves us, it is GRACE, and only by His Grace we are saved through Faith in our Lord Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)

For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;

·         We were created in the likeness of our Creator

Devotionals for Sunday, April 17th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:  What a Day it will be… it will be like the ‘Last day’ of school and Christmas Morning,

Many of us remember the last day of school and more so the ‘first-day’ of school… Obviously the last day was the most welcomed of all.  In this world we are all in class going through a rehearsal for that big day.  The big day is inevitable as it is appointed unto to man once to die and after that the judgment (the big-day)

But for those who know Christ we are already experiencing the ‘Last-day’ of school. Because it is stated in Romans 8:1-13 New International Version (NIV)

Life Through the Spirit

8 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you[a] free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh,

Text: Psalm 34:7 The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. In Context | Full Chapter |

Commentary:

The Last-day of school is like watching the game when your team is down by three points and one minute to go, you are not panicking…because you already know that your team won.

We know the ending because Jesus told us… John 11: 25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

The first things we all need to know are:

·         We were created in the likeness of our Creator

·         We will never Die

·         And there is a place of Splendor and a place of eternal suffering (Hell)

Topic:  Assurance = Full Replacement.  Insurance has a limit; God’s Assurance is Limitless

TEXT:  John 11:26
And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
John 11:25-27 (in Context) John 11 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

What does this mean?  If we have just one life and when we die, how can there be a judgment? And by whom will we be judged?

The first things we all need to know are:

·         We were created in the likeness of our Creator

·         We will never Die

·         And there is a place of Splendor and a place of eternal suffering (Hell)

The Church of Antioch was considered the birthplace of the Christian Church, as followers of Christ was first called Christians in Antioch. Antioch is a border town in Syria & close to Turkey, and this is where many Christian Jews migrated to from Jerusalem.

In the United States we will reflect on Christian leaders like Dwight D. Moody, and the famous British clergyman, Charles H. Spurgeon.  These men made their mark on Christianity during the last century, and their teaching are still today being used on a daily basis. Dwight L. Moody a man that left school in the fifth grade, and went on to build schools and colleges, and today Moody Institute is a worldwide legacy through Moody Broadcast and Theological seminary.

We also must mention the Five Missionaries that went to the deep jungle of Ecuador. The two most well-known would be Jim Elliott and Nate Saint, their legacy mark a historical event that opened this remote region to Christ.

The most frequently asked about quote is,

"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose."

A famous quote by Jim Elliott one of five Martyrs that brought the Auca Indians to the Lord after they were martyred, Jim’s wife and Nate’s wife stayed on in the jungle of Ecuador and brought the leaders to the Lord. What a price to have paid to bring our Lord Jesus to this remote jungle.

Philip Henry (1631-1696), father of well-known preacher and Bible commentator Matthew Henry (1662-1714), was credited with a very similar saying. In The Miscellaneous Works of the Rev. Matthew Henry..., published in 1833, is a biography of Philip by Matthew. (The original biography had apparently been published in 1699.) On page 35 of the volume, Matthew is recalling his father's acts of kindness and charity and how he used to say, "He is no fool who parts with what he cannot keep, when he is sure to be recompensed with what he cannot lose."

Praise Our Lord Jesus for His Omniscience and His Divine Holiness and Jesus is our Sovereign Eternal God. Thank You Lord for the privilege of coming to You my Lord. Amen.

Elisabeth Elliot and Rachel Saint, By Megan Grober

"All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation." - II Corinthians 5:18-19

Today… We church goers that are really ‘Arm-chair’ worshippers, we need to regain the Zeal, it may not be to go to the ends of the earth, but right here in our backyard of this United States there is a need to bring the Gospel of Salvation to a population that are drifting away and some not even ever heard the Truth of our Lord’s Salvation.

We who are believers need to do our part as the commission of our Lord was to proclaim His message of; Good News that He Rose Triumphantly and HE is alive on the Throne of Righteousness and He is waiting to receive those that come to Him for His Redemption.

There’s so much to tell, as re recite the key things we all need to know:

  1. God Created the Heaven and the Earth
  2. God Created us in His Likeness
  3. Because we are Created in the Likeness of God, we too shall live forever.
  4. Jesus is the Son of God and He is Supreme and was there from the beginning of it all
  5. Because we are descendants of Adam, we are all born into Sin.
  6. The Good News is: God Sent His Son Jesus to Redeem us
  7. Jesus Paid It All by His Blood of Atonement.
  8. The Grace of our Lord is extended to us all, and right now is the time of Acceptance
  9. If we Accept our Lord Jesus and repent of our Sin, He will Redeem us by His Blood as a Seal and as a Down/Payment for our Redemption that we will be with our Lord in a Place of Splendor forever.
  10. We also need to let it known that while our Lord is a Lord of Love, A Gracious Redeemer and a Patient God, He is also a God of Consuming Fire…
  11. Our Lord said that when we are saved by His Grace we will never be lost, but we must know Him and have a close walk with our Lord as He will meet all our needs and He will never leave us nor forsake us.
  12. We can come to our Lord Jesus right where we are and he will receive us, and we can have His assurance that we will be saved by His Blood.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Matthew 6:25
[Do Not Worry] “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

Devotionals for Friday April 15th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:  Bring your Praises to the Lord, and your burdens, but thank Him as He lifts your burden…

Focus:  Is there a conspiracy against God or against His people? If yes, both are offensive to our Lord.  Is God banned from our institutions and government agencies?

Thoughts for the day:  Burdens are lifted at Calvary

Text:      Luke 16:10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. Luke 16:9-11 (in Context) Luke 16 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:

Looking back that the event of the Lunar Landing we saw and heard the Christmas Eve Message sent from the Moon.  Many scoffers still believe the Moon landing is a conspiracy and it was staged on the Universal Lot in Hollywood.

America was in a time when it was blessed with the ordained Blessings of our Lord, our recent policies now imposed has removed Jesus Christ from the scene, the Cross is also being banned and the Commandments are being removed from public buildings.

Let us enjoy the once in a lifetime interplanetary message below… (when playing the YouTube video after viewing, click the back button in the browser to return to our site.)

During those first hours on the moon, before the planned eating and rest periods, I reached into my personal preference kit and pulled out the communion elements along with a three-by-five card on which I had written the words of Jesus: "I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me, and I in him, will bear much fruit; for you can do nothing without me." I poured a thimbleful of wine from a sealed plastic container into a small chalice, and waited for the wine to settle down as it swirled in the one-sixth Earth gravity of the moon. My comments to the world were inclusive: "I would like to request a few moments of silence ... and to invite each person listening in, wherever and whomever they may be, to pause for a moment and contemplate the events of the past few hours, and to give thanks in his or her own way." I silently read the Bible passages as I partook of the wafer and the wine, and offered a private prayer for the task at hand and the opportunity I had been given. Neil watched respectfully, but made no comment to me at the time.

Excerpt from Buzz Aldrin’s Memoirs.

Here's the scene: It's Christmas Eve, 1968. The spaceship with three men on board had hurtled toward the moon for three days, and they have now finally entered the moon's orbit, a move requiring a maneuver so dicey that just a tiny mistake could have sent the men off into an unwieldy elliptical orbit or crashing to the moon's surface. But all went smoothly, and they are orbiting the moon. On their fourth pass (of 10), astronaut William Anders snaps the famous Earthrise shot that will appear in Life magazine. On their ninth orbit, they begin a broadcast down to Earth. Astronaut Frank Borman introduces the men of the mission, and, then, this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vU5QwuYKIgQ&feature=related

"And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and God said, 'Let there be light," Borman read. And it was so.  Through this broadcast and this photograph, I think we can begin to taste the kind spiritual experience astronauts must have as they travel to distances, and perspectives, so few have known. As, "To look out at this kind of creation out here and not believe in God is to me impossible. ... It just strengthens my faith. I wish there were words to describe what it's like."

600px-NASA-Apollo8-Dec24-Earthrise-615.jpg

This ultimate scientific endeavor does not answer the questions religion seeks to answer; it brings humans into a close encounter with their own smallness, the Earth's beauty, and the vastness of the cosmos. Faced with these truths, is it any wonder that some astronauts turn to religion? Some surely find comfort in the words of secular philosopher-scientists like Carl Sagan and Neil deGrasse Tyson. But others will find that the ancient religions of Earth have some greater power, some deeper resonance, when they have traveled safely so far from their homes. Astronaut James Irwin put it this way: "As we got farther and farther away it diminished in size. Finally, it shrank to the size of a marble, the most beautiful marble you can imagine. That beautiful, warm, living object looked so fragile, so delicate, that if you touched it with a finger it would crumble and fall apart. Seeing this has to change a man, has to make a man appreciate the creation of God and the love of God."

This is in part the sentiment Buzz Aldrin relays in his 2009 memoir as he recounts how he took communion in the minutes between when he and Neil Armstrong became the first humans on the moon's surface, and when Armstrong set his foot down on the dust. Aldrin says he had planned the ceremony as "an expression of gratitude and hope."

His Promise & His Faithfulness:

Those that are Faithful He will preserve, we read of His Faithfulness and His rewards to those that run the race to the end in Faith…Luke 19:17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. Luke 19:16-18 (in Context) Luke 19 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion:

Landing on the Moon was hailed as a ‘Giant-Step’ for mankind’ yes all of NASA’s achievements are enormous credit to mankind, including this success, but there’s is much we do not know…The Bible is the wealth of knowledge, and in fact provided many clues to the team of NASA in the early days.

As we see the recent steps backward by authorities that are banning prayers in the name of Jesus our Lord; yes, in many places including: Schools, institutions and public buildings. Simultaneously we see the wrath of our God upon us.  This nation has never owed so much, never was so overt about things that are against the teaching of our Creator. And as we like to say here at Good News Forever “The Best is Yet to Come’ but before the Best, there will be more time of endurance.  Those that are running the Race for our Lord, let us Run knowing that there is a prize at the end of the race.

We hope and pray that there will be a time of turning to our Lord so that He can heal our land… Wake up America! We are losing the race, see what our Lord said about being a good custodian…

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14, NIV).

Prayer: Father in Heaven we pray in Jesus our Lord and Savior, Lord Jesus today as we come seeking Your divine guidance, we are praying for our Nation as You promised Lord, that if we turn to You and seek You; You will heal our Land… Lord today we are in Faith in the Oneness of You Jesus Messiah.  Lord bless our visitors and grant in us Your Grace as we seek to be a vessel bearing the Good News of Your Salvation. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday April 14th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:  We are all fully Authorized to be part of a ‘Royal’ Family’ to be set aside

TEXT: 1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
1 Peter 2:8-10 (in Context) 1 Peter 2 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:

Conclusion:

1 Corinthians 3:16-23 Avoid Worldly Wisdom

16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; 20 and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” 21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come—all are yours. 23 And you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.

God will not be Mocked….

Text: Proverbs 9:10
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Proverbs 9:9-11 (in Context) Proverbs 9 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:

The Text above said… The ‘Fear’ of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom…  We prefer to say the ‘Love’ of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom… No, we are not rewriting the Holy Scriptures, but God wants our Love and through our love we can know that he is God, and He is Holy because only He is Worthy.

What is considered ‘Mocking our Lord’? The word Mock is defined as…

1: to treat with contempt or ridicule: deride

2: to disappoint the hopes of

3: defychallenge

4 a: to imitate (as a mannerism) closely: mimic b: to mimic in sport or derision

intransitive verb: jeerscoff

In our lifetime we all have experienced some degree of mockery, but the worst case of mockery is to have some form of ‘Respect’ for the individual but behind his back we commit things that are offensive to the person.  It is like saying Dear God, I love You and Praise You and I serve You, then in the afternoon we are violating his trust.  This is among the highest form of mockery that we can commit.  But our God who is Omniscience, Omni Potent and all Powerful will not be mocked.  In society we often misjudge Kindness for ‘Weakness’ Our Lord express such kindness and so many of us take His love for granted.  There is an “Entitlement’ offered by our Lord, and He offered His Love to have made the ultimate Sacrifice for us by granting us His Grace and it is an Entitlement that we must accept.

Mocking our Lord comes from all levels, Sin is not exclusive to any one group, and you can be in the clergy, a Priest, a Pastor, and an Evangelist… The Scripture warn about ‘Falling-Away’ after being enlightened, so being a member of the Clergy, a Pastor willfully ‘Falling-away’ by partaking in a sinful act is a mockery of our Lord at a higher level; as such an individual breached the trust of the Lord and his parishioners.

The scoffer that scoffs at our Lord and jest against Him, the non- believer is committing an act of Mockery against our Lord; but there is no consequence of mistrust affecting a wide audience.  So those in the service of our Lord must be guarded and be aware that the consequence is far-reaching.

His Promise:

We need to know that we never die… So what is to come after this life? Jesus revealed this…

Hebrews 9:27
And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
Hebrews 9:26-28 (in Context) Hebrews 9 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

John 11:26
And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
John 11:25-27 (in Context) John 11 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

What does this mean?  If we have just one life and when we die, how can there be a judgment? And by whom will we be judged?

The first things we all need to know are:

·         We were created in the likeness of our Creator

·         We will never Die

·         And there is a place of Splendor and a place of eternal suffering (Hell)

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:15-17 (in Context) John 3 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

John 14:2
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:1-3 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

John 14:3
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

Principle:  Ephesians 2:8-9

New International Version (NIV)

8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Matthew 6:25
[Do Not Worry] “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
Matthew 6:24-26 (in Context) Matthew 6 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

Action/Coming to our Lord: Hebrews 11:6 NKJV

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter

Conclusion: While our Lord is a Gracious God, He is a God of Consuming Fire, as Sinners that have not repented will be separated from God and will be cast out from His sight and be in a place of perpetual suffering (yes you will be alive but never dying and ever suffering) because our Lord has given sinners over to the final death (but still never dead)  So Come to our Lord today as He said come unto Him and He will receive you and forgive you of your sin(s) and you will be a new creation in Christ.

Amen.

Lord bless our Visitors and Precious Lord take our hands and lead us unto Your Kingdom, as look to that day when we shall see You Lord as You are. In You we have Victory, and in You we have Your Divine Redemption. Lord grant Your favors to all that call on You and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday April 13th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:  Be thankful for the delay… sometimes it is a blessing…

Have you ever missed the green-light because of the slow driver ahead of you? In a situation like this we blame the slow driver and wished that he was moving faster. Guess what? missing the green light saved you from being broad-sided by a truck that just ran the light, and if you had the green you would be hit by this wayward truck.

There are people that missed their flights and later learned that the plane did not make it to the destination. So are these people just plain lucky? Or were you protected by your guardian angel?

Today as we go through the hustle and bustle of the city and travelling the highway and by-ways stop and know one thing, God said… Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

In Context | Full Chapter

Our Omniscient God is always with us through His Comforter…

Text: Psalm 34:7 The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. In Context | Full Chapter |

Commentary:

EVENING:

When Jesus struck down Saul, Saul (Paul) did not say to God… “Here I am God, send me” …  Jesus chose him and not just commanded Saul, our Lord made Paul His ‘Vessel’ to bear His Salvation to us and more so to Gentiles. In Paul’s journey while serving our Lord he forged great friendship with Titus, Timothy, and others including Apollos, Barnabas and Silas.

So today as we too are on the road to Damascus may our Lord Jesus shine that blinding light on us and make us to be His Vessel.

Conclusion: As the storm clouds are gathering, there is an impending ‘Peace-talks’ dealing with the conflict in Syria… May our Lord Jesus bring His majestic ‘Power’ upon all who are engaged in this troubled region… and just like Paul of the road to Damascus let our leaders and all foreign head of governments engaged in Syria experience their ‘Road to Damascus’ by coming to Christ.

Steps to Victory

  1. Communicate with Jesus
  2. Seek His Divine Guidance
  3. Absorb His messages
  4. Follow His Instructions
  5. Serve Him
  6. Resist the Evil forces
  7. Turn away from things that are not from our Lord
  8. Just say “I will not go there because it offends my Lord”
  9. Yield to the Holy Spirit
  10. Trust the Lord
  11. He will provide a way and a solution
  12. His Way is always the Right-Way
  13. What our Lord is giving you is not a temporary answer
  14. His Answers is Eternal, and it will be with you forever
  15. He will never let me be ashamed in Trusting Him
  16. He will provide all of my Needs according to His Riches
  17. His Riches is not this world, His riches is our Faith in Him
  18. He loves us so much He Even Died for me
  19. He provided a Way that I can come to Him
  20. Without His Forgiveness and His Grace, I cannot come into His Kingdom
  21. His Redemption is not a ritual; His Redemption is a Sacrifice for my Sins
  22. Without His Blood of Atonement, I cannot come to Him, so He has provided a Seal of Life through His Resurrection
  23. The Good News is that He died to save Sinners like me and you
  24. His Good News is; He is willing to forgive me and you, and His Good News is that we will be with Him in a Place He called Paradise, a place that is sanctified without sin and we shall have His Holy Presence giving us His Joy in a Place of Splendor. Come to Him today.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord just as You brought Paul to his knees Lord, You made Him Your Vessel for Your Glory;  Lord claim the men that are also on the road to Damascus today. Lord we need Your Divine Intervention to the upheaval of the land of Syria. Lord be with our leaders as they contemplate their actions. Lord let Your will be done. Gracious God, our Heavenly Father we thank You and we give You first place knowing that Jesus is our Lord and Savior and is God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Saving Grace and we bring You our Visitors as we ask Your blessings on all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday April 12th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:  Living to ‘Work’ or Working to ‘Live…  There’s no Pot of Gold at the end of the Rainbow

Living as defined in the dictionary… living

noun

1. livelihood, work, job, maintenance, occupation, subsistence, bread and butter (informal), sustenance, (means of) support, (source of) income He earns his living doing all kinds of things.

2. lifestyle, ways, situation, conduct, behavior, customs, lifestyle, way of life, mode of living the stresses of modern living

Having a livelihood by a job or an occupation that offers a source of income to maintain a way of life coping with the stress of modern living is an achievement.  In today’s business environment the order of the day is…’You eat what you kill’ meaning there is no ‘free-ride’; This means that there is no take-home pay unless you make a sale. So in a sense this is not a job, it is an opportunity to generate a fee for what you closed.

A career in a position that is considered gainful-employment is an achievement...  Yet in the USA the number of people living from paycheck to paycheck is 76% and on the rise. This is not just for the lesser privileged the more affluent are also living this way with virtually no savings.

Imagine the setting of Eden a place where Adam had full control, never having to ‘earn’ a living, just to be fruitful and multiply.  The nature of man is to tempt-fate, and Adam did and he was casted out of this wonderful place Eden.

Many heirs to fortunes that were born with the so-called ‘silver-spoon’ squandered their wealth and in many instances their lives.

We are all born with that sin inherited from Adam, but God made a way for us to be ‘Redeemed’ and through Jesus who Paid-It-All so that we can be a Joint-Heir with Him to God’s Kingdom, and by this Divine Sacrifice we have the privilege of being set-apart and made a Royal-Priesthood in Christ…

Devotionals for Monday April 11th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:   Less is ‘More’ Have less and enjoy it ‘MORE”

Consumerism is somewhat defined as… ‘wanting more and more stuff that one does not really need’.

In the eyes of the merchants, the manufacturers and the government, mass-consumerism is the sign of a healthy economy. But on the other hand the consumers who are spending money using their Credit Cards are in some way a victim of this ‘globalization’ plan,

The World loves a winner… but they did not recognize the ‘Real-Winner’ who are the ‘Real-Winners’?  Jesus ‘The’ Christ and all those in Christ…. Everyone would like to be in ‘Victory-Lane’ In Christ you can be in Victory-lane today by the Grace of our Lord and savior…

Text: Matthew 6:20

But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

Matthew 6:19-21 (in Context) Matthew 6 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary: Do not envy that person that you know who went on to be the town’s wealthy guy and is always in the social columns.  Look at the flipside… is he happy?  Is he heaven-bound? If the answer is no, then he is the poorest person that you can point to. Being the richest person in the graveyard means nothing as; naked we came and naked we go, we take nothing with us. One Life to Live and after that the Judgment…

Genesis 1: 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”  27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

We need to know that we never die… So what is to come after this life? Jesus revealed this…

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, Hebrews 9:26-28 (in Context) Hebrews 9 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

John 11:26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-27 (in Context) John 11 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

This website is known as GOOD NEWS FOREVER, and our discussion today may not start out as ‘Good-News’ but it will end in Good NEWS and backed by a Guarantee that far exceeds the greatest Warranty backed by any company or government, there is a saying the surest thing we have in live is “Death & Taxes’ but there’s more – A Judgment, and the best to come is Salvation and a live of total Splendor through Jesus Christ our Lord and savior…

Devotionals for Sunday April 10th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:   Was Christ’ Crucifixion Murder? Or by a Divine Sacrifice?  Remember Jesus said…” Father forgive them for they know not what they do” ….

TEXT: Luke 23: 32-43 32 There were also two others, criminals, led with Him to be put to death.33 And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left.

34 Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”

And they divided His garments and cast lots. 35 And the people stood looking on. But even the rulers with them sneered, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God.”

36 The soldiers also mocked Him, coming and offering Him sour wine,37 and saying, “If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself.”

38 And an inscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew:

THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

39 Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.”

40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.”

42 Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”

43 And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

Commentary:

Look at the facts:

  1. Christ came to save sinners…
  2. Jesus delivered His message of Redemption

Acts 2New King James Version (NKJV)

Coming of the Holy Spirit

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord[a] in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The Crowd’s Response

And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” 12 So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?”

Matthew 6:33-34 New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Ephesians 2:13

EVENING:  Conclusion:

Colossians 1: 9-18 Preeminence of Christ

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Pray... Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I believe and accept that You died for my sins, and by Your Blood that was shed at Calvary, I am Saved by Your Grace. Lord Jesus let Your Holy Spirit come into my heart and change me and by Your Divine Resurrection You Are our Sovereign God, I receive You Lord Jesus as my Savior and Lord, I accept Your Priceless Gift of Salvation and trusting You Lord Jesus, and know that it is only by Your Grace that I am saved, I pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus as my Redeemer... Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday April 9th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:   Can Love Coexist with Wealth? Can the wealthy serve God? If wealth is a ‘by-product’ of serving God first, then you may not even have to micro-manage it; it usually comes naturally when placed in second order.

TEXT:

Matthew 6:33-34 New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Commentary:

Cronyism is a form of racketeering, beating the system is a form of stealing, why were loopholes were made?

Think on this:  The Tax-Codes were written by accountants and other professionals; they knew the loopholes they provided

TEXT: Isaiah 55: 1 “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.

Commentary:  ‘Trade-Secrets’, Tax-Loophole, Knowledge-based, privileged information, Intellectual properties and other industry knowhow can be applied to circumvent or advance one’s ability in advancing their competitive-edge.

Oh for the simple days of just buying low and selling high…because of these ‘trade-secrets’ the famous saying “If all it took was money anyone could do it”.   Intellectual-Capital is probably the most important piece of the puzzle or the key-ingredients of success in business.  So those with the ‘Intellectual-resources’ are often the most successful in their respective field.

Gaining the advantage by using the intellectual property is defined as… to ‘exploit’ and the use of this practice strangely means…’to achieve’.  So many operate by selling Anti-Virus software to prevent Virus from infecting your computer, and in most instances the seller of the remedy are the developer of the ‘bug’ that will harm your computer. This is what we refer to as exploitation of others, and is factually a form of racketeering. Identity theft is becoming the most exploited form of crime,  this rising form of exploitation will drive the victims to a new form of ‘safe-harbor’ which may be contributing to a new underground economy, more on the subject of underground economy in our upcoming articles.

The simple life becomes more complex when one must seek strategies for ‘wealth-preservation’.  So many hard working individuals have lost their fortune through the quest of wealth-management and financial planners.  One must think for whom is the wealth manager or financial planner working for? Hopefully they are working to preserve your assets and not planning for their own account.  We ask where is the covenant of ‘Fiduciary’ when it comes to greed?

In real life… the hacker that is now selling the service of teaching how to avoid being hacked, this service can be useful when the service provider is truly a loyal provider of what keeps you safe, or on the contrary your vulnerability is more vulnerable as your entire resources are now in the hands of one source.

You may ask… how does this article fit within a daily devotional?  It is somewhat parallel to the Ten Commandments that God gave us through Moses… how? God knew that mankind could not keep them so he provided a way for us to face the penalty of breaking His commandments.

Unlike the provider of Anti-Virus software to counter the Virus, God provided a ‘Total Redemption’ through Jesus who Paid-it-all… His Blood shed at Calvary is His Eternal-Seal; a Stamp that is NOT like what you see on a product “PASSED” meaning it went through final inspection, why? Because this item even though it is stamped ‘Passed’ if dropped it becomes defective.

With God when we Accept His Salvation by knowing Him, His ‘Grace’ is bestowed on us, and even when we accidently fall, we are still covered, this does not mean that because you are now covered by his Grace we can freely sin.  The Bible said…  Ephesians 2:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Know that… Romans 3:23

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

His Love for us and His Faithfulness…

Romans 5:8  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

EVENING:

Conclusion: No one is immune to the constant battle of temptation, the evil one is always lurking and we have to be on the watch, this is why the Text said…”Your Word I have hid in my heart that I may not sin against you” We read about Blaise Pascal who sewed the Bible verse of Psalm 119:16: "I will not forget thy word. Amen." He seems to have carefully sewn this document into his coat and always transferred it when he changed clothes; a servant discovered it only by chance after his death.

Who is Blaise Pascal: he was a French mathematician, physicist, inventor, a writer and Christian philosopher. Pascal was the inventor of the first Calculator a machine that he developed.

Pascal said… There is a God shaped vacuum in the heart of every man which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by God, the Creator, made known through Jesus.

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Our Lord has no ‘Ulterior-motive’ He said all you have to do is ‘come unto to Him’ In God’s equation there is no Fee for service, He said come and buy ‘without money’

Coming to the Lord:

Romans 8:28 New King James Version (NKJV) 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

1 John 5:3-4 New King James Version (NKJV) For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our[a] faith.

Prayer: Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Lord and Savior… Lord today as we present Your Good News we seek Your Divine guidance and we claim Victory in Your Holy Name. Lord be with our Visitors as You have said that whoever calls on Your Name Lord shall be saved. Lord today we look to Your eminent return let us all be prepared by forgiving others as You have forgiven us of our trespasses. Lord we pray with confidence that in You Lord, if we ask anything according to Your Will, You will hear us, and we know that You are faithful and that You will never leave us nor forsake us. We pray this in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday April 8th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:   God’s Data Bank capacity exceeds all of what man has made, and it is EMP safe.

Can any of us imagine the enormity of the Lamb’s Book of Life capacity.  No it will not be just 144,000 people. The Bible said… all who called upon His name shall be saved.

TEXT: Joel 2:31-32 New International Version (NIV)

31 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.

32 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the Lord has said, even among the survivors whom the Lord calls.

Commentary

EMP stands for electromagnetic pulse. It can be produced by a nuclear detonation, a lightning discharge or any type of a discharge that can take on a form of a pulse with a fast rise time. Why is this so important?  Because a single missile with a warhead that actually doesn’t have to be all that large, has the potential to take out the U.S. power grid, destroy our electronics networks, and create an existential crisis like nothing the world has ever witnessed.

One curious facet of an EMP event is that we wouldn’t even feel it pass through our bodies. The EMP would pass unnoticed through us, even as it fried the iPhones and Galaxies in our pockets, knocked out our telecommunications system, rendered our cars and computers without the ability to function, and took out our power grid.

We would have little idea of the dread potentially awaiting us, because there would be no communications. No mobility. Nothing that our highly evolved, sophisticated, and electronic society relies on.  That’s the bad news.

The Good News… God’s Data bank will be safe; your name will never be erased once entered.  The Second Good News is…That everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

God’s Promises are for today, He knows your immediate needs, but He also has the ‘total’ answer and it’s yours for the asking. Our Lord Jesus is the Master of Just-in-Time, so be patient and know that He is Lord. Stay in Faith, follow His leading

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. In Context | Full Chapter |

Recently published papers by scientists are claiming that the Universe is timeless, and the measuring of time points back to the theory of relativity as published by Einstein… meaning that the universe is timeless.  The mystery of the universe is still a baffling theoretical challenge to us, as the claim to travel at the speed of light there would be no time and the outcome of quantum mechanics would then in theory be the fourth-dimension.

A Timeless Universe meaning that everything is eternal is a paradox that God already gave us the answer and we keep ignoring His profound wisdom.   Gravity can only control our bodies, a mass that we call our physical bodies in which we live is subject to the factor of time, but our ‘Spiritual-Being’ is not subject to the earth-bound gravitational force, so what the scientists and researchers are proving is really reaching the climax of what Jesus taught.  The statement of “Unless you be ‘Born-Again’ you cannot enter into the Kingdom of God” what Jesus was saying, your Spiritual-Being needs to be ‘Super-Naturally’ washed in His Atoning Blood, then as one who is now ‘Sealed’ with His Blood through His Divine Grace and when we receive Him (Jesus) we are redeemed.  This is where the Quantum-Mechanics will allow all those in Christ to be ‘Freed’ from their ‘earth-bound’ being, to allow the Redeemed to be a ‘Joint-Heir’ to His Kingdom.

We will reflect on Stephen’s journey to Jesus… and as Stephen said, “Jesus receive my Spirit” here we read Stephen entering that Quantum Mechanic Zone.  Thousands of Christians are experiencing this pathway daily as they are received by our Lord Jesus to a Kingdom of Splendor, a place that Jesus called Paradise.

The ‘Black & White’ physical evidence that we all seek… meaning unless we can turn to page number 1001 of a manual that will tell us how to get onboard to take that Quantum Physic journey, we cannot believe that such a journey exists.  But this same person that needs the ‘Black & White proof’ will believe the lies of the devil or even believe in the novel written by English author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll... published in 1865 Alice in Wonderland a book that we all grew up with, impacting generations after generations.

EVENING:

Faith is an intangible factor, but this is as tangible as stepping in front of an oncoming locomotive… When Jesus said “If you have faith like a grain of mustard seed you could move mountains’ He was not saying that the mustard seed had any faith he was saying if your faith is as small as the little pinhead dot your faith could do things that we call supernatural.  By having Faith in Christ He will one day allow us to perform that ‘Supernatural’ Quantum Physic achievement of our journey to our Savior.

What a privilege that our Lord Jesus gave us… Just think that little ‘unknown-switch’ that we never knew we had, but being ‘Enlightened’ we now know that this ‘switch’ is engaged and we are now guided by His Holy Spirit. His Holy Spirit is what we would refer to as a ‘force-field’ that is a barrier that surrounds us when we accept Jesus and as He said, the angels of the Lord surrounds those who are in Him…
Psalm 34:7 The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.

We thank You Lord for the privilege of bringing this Good News to our Visitors, bless us all as we look to You Lord Jesus as the Author and Finisher of our Faith and our journey to You Lord Jesus. MORNING:

Topic:   How safe is your money in the bank, in your wallet? It’s only a blimp on the screen, what if?

Your money is in two forms, currency in your wallet, and electronically on your Bankcard… The new Bankcards, (Debit Card) now features a Chip, just like your ‘FOB’ Key that you use to open the door to your car and no key to insert to start the vehicle.

We may say we are in the Digital-Age, but we are in the ‘Virtual-Age’ so as the old deceptive advertisement would say, ‘This product is virtually indestructible’ and it will virtually last you a ‘life-time’ … So is you ‘Virtual-money’ one could refer to currency doing the disappearing-act.

So why are large corporations, high net worth investors buying tangible hard assets? If your money is pegged to the US Greenbacks, then without the slogan of…” In God we trust’ there is little or nothing else to trust in. It took the United States over two hundred plus years to accumulate a deficit of 7+ Trillion dollars and in just 8 years this is now doubled with a national debt of $20 Trillion Dollars.

So as they recommend that you store you high-tech FOB key in a Faraday cage to protect thieves from stealing the code and stealing your car, you also must now have a wallet that protects your Card with the chip that it cannot be cloned.

Lay up your treasures in Heaven where thieves cannot steal your treasures…

But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. In Context | Full Chapter |

Commentary:

Today we want to reflect on His Word of His Good News…

  1. His Assurance:  For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV….  Thank our lord Jesus for His Spirit of Power, of Love, given us a Sound mind that we can give Him the Glory.

  1. He is Mediator: For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a random for all 1 Timothy 2: 5-6 NKJV …. Thank Him that he intercedes to the Father on our behalf, and He Paid-It-All to Redeem us.

  1. Finding our Lord:  Jeremiah 33: 3… Call on Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.  What a privilege He gave us, we can freely come to our Lord.

  1. Meeting our needs:  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4: 6 NKJV… He is never too busy to receive our requests (notice not just one request, as many as we need) so give thanks our Lord knowing that whatever we ask He will provide meeting all our needs.
  2. Salvation through His Blood: In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace... Ephesians 1: 7 NKJV… We are saved by His Grace and in Faith and not by ourselves, it is a ‘Gift’ of God, not of any works, so we cannot boast. (Ephesians 2: 8)

  1. Christ is Eternal, His Word is forever, His Redemption is for Eternity, and those He saved will never be lost… Romans 8: 38-39… For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present not things to come, not height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord… Rest assured that this is a truthful and faithful saying and we can trust in Jesus for He is on the Throne of Righteousness and he has our back and in Him we have Victory...

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Is our ‘calling-out’ to our Lord a call for Grace or a call for wealth?

Mark 10:47-48 King James Version (KJV)

47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.

48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.

EVENING:

Conclusion: Our calls to our Lord should be made known to Him. Knowing that our Lord knows what we have need of before we ask, but He does want us to make our request known to Him….

Philippians 4: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Devotionals for Wednesday April 6th, 2016

Topic: Wine gets better with age; computers get worse with age… some humans are like wine.

Focus:   Do not fall for the ‘Subtle-changes’ in our lives that lead us astray

Text:  1 Peter 5:8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:7-9 (in Context) 1 Peter 5 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:

Have you noticed that your computer will gradually be slowing down and the files do take a little longer to load? The subtle change that are being made by the ‘intrusions’ by Ad-Ware and tracking by advertisers and others hidden add-ons suddenly snowball that restrict the flow of data.

Definition of SUBTLE

1 a: delicate, elusive <a subtle fragrance>b: difficult to understand or perceive: obscure <subtle differences in sound>

2 a: perceptive, refined <a writer's sharp and subtle moral sense>b: having or marked by keen insight and ability to penetrate deeply and thoroughly <a subtle scholar>

3 a: highly skillful: expert <a subtle craftsman>b: cunningly made or contrived: ingenious

4: artful, crafty <a subtle rogue>

5: operating insidiously <subtle poisons>

From the Ridiculous to the Sublime this popularly used phrase describes a frivolous event that becomes a serious condition., and vice-versa… from the ‘Sublime to the Ridiculous’.

In the realms of our lives, the devil uses the Ridiculous to make subtle changes in our daily lives by using the earthly pleasures (that are temporary) the subtle lures of:

  1. Things, these being gadgets that we sometimes refer to as ‘tools’
  2. Entertainment, which is commonly known today as ‘Eye-Candy’
  3. Life-Style, what we must have or where we live or how we move-around’.

Then we can see the definition of from the Sublime to the Ridiculous, we often refer to some counties as “Great Nations’, to our Lord such nations are like drops in a bucket… and the analogy of moving from importance to be ‘ridiculous’ we can see many examples even in our time, Iraq went through these phases, the once great city of Lebanon went through these phases, now Egypt and Syria are experiencing these phases. The now mighty China is in the throes of reversing the history of importance to insignificance by their current phase of industrialization and prowess in Space.  But the vastness of God’s Universe and the galaxies of what man refers to as distances by ‘Light years’ prove our finite abilities, as we make new ‘discoveries’ of new planets and clusters, these are not ‘Discoveries’ by man, they existed from eons and we are just expanding our ‘short-sightedness'

Back to the subtleness of changes, to counter the contrivance of the evil one, when we face the insidious crafty and highly skilled lures of the devil, we cannot elude these fiery darts by ourselves, we need to be perceptive and engage our Lord’s help to rebuke and deflect these fiery darts.  So today we are all taking a lesson from the definition of Subtleness of changes.

The best way of not breaking your car’s suspension is to steer clear of the sinkhole ahead, so the same applies… to stay away from the itemized list above and un-sheath your Two-Edged Sword to conqueror the enemy.

In society we are governed by a set of rules and laws, the meaning of ‘Infraction’ it is a ‘Breach’, sometimes we make an infraction, it is like driving and we skip a lane without flashing our indicator, this is a traffic violation. In the eyes of some this is an infraction and because it was not done intentionally, we may escape a citation.  But to do this intentionally and purposely as a habit we are not doing an infraction we are breaking the law.  In our personal life, our Lord by His Grace provided a waiver to ‘forgive’ an infraction because He paid for it with His Blood, but if we habitually commit the violations, it is now an intentional sin, and His Grace will not apply when we knowingly commit the sin, it is now a “Mockery’ of our Lord’s Crucifixion, and we are now committing a ‘Defacto’ Crucifixion of our Lord, as He paid it Once and our habitual sins are placing us in double-jeopardy, and our Lord does not rule by ‘double-jeopardy’ He died Once and Rose to Everlasting Life…

Therefore, His forgiveness is always available when we confess with a contrite heart. But He also said there will be a time when he will give us over to a reprobate mind…

The Webster defines ‘Reprobate’ as… Definition of REPROBATE

1: to condemn strongly as unworthy, unacceptable, or evil<reprobating the laxity of the age>

2: to foreordain to damnation

3: to refuse to accept: reject

We have been fore-warned, in the following scriptures:
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Romans 1:27-29 (in Context) Romans 1 (Whole Chapter)

We suggest reading the entire Chapter of Romans 1 and what is said about the result of being a victim of the Subtle Changes and the results of those that fell into the trap of the evil one and the final despair of those that continues in the ‘Lifestyle’ and the indulgence of the temporary pleasures, and being written-off.

His Promise:

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2 Corinthians 5:16-18 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 5 (Whole Chapter)

His Faithfulness:
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
John 13:33-35 (in Context) John 13 (Whole Chapter)

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Matthew 6: 33 is an applicable Scripture that points us to the fundamental of how to deflect the wiles of the evil one and to be in Victory Lane in Christ… Matthew 6:33 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Conclusion: Quoted from Charles Spurgeon. Morning & Evening

Our zeal must, however, begin at home. Let us examine ourselves as to our right to eat at the Lord's table. Let us see to it that we have on our wedding garment, lest we ourselves be intruders in the Lord's sanctuaries. Many are called, but few are chosen; the way is narrow, and the gate is strait. O for grace to come to Jesus aright, with the faith of God's elect. He who smote Uzzah for touching the ark is very jealous of his two ordinances; as a true believer I may approach them freely, as an alien I must not touch them lest I die. Heart searching is the duty of all who are baptized or come to the Lord's table. "Search me, O God, and know my way, try me and know my heart." By: C.H Spurgeon

Epilogue.

Someone rightly said the original ‘Social Network’ is not Facebook®, it is the Family’s dining table, where parents and kids gather to dine and interact and communicate among themselves, and this is the Social networking that tunes out the TV, the Texting, the Cell Phone and the distractions from a wholesome family gathering.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity. Lord Jesus, today we dedicate this day to You that all in Churches across this land will hear and receive your Good News of Your Redemption.  Lord grant to your servants Your Holy Spirit to spread Your Good News as You came and Paid-It-All by Your Unconditional Love for us while we were yet sinners. Gracious Lord let us focus on You acknowledging Your Faithfulness that all things will be done according to Your will. Lord because You have granted us Your Grace and in Faith we come knowing that you are on the Throne of Righteousness and by Your Intercession we are saved by Your Blood of Atonement.  Lord we Praise You and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

MORNING:
Topic:   The oldest tree in the world is a 5,062-year-old Pine longaeva in the Rocky Mountains, USA

Apr 29, 2013 - Until 2013, the oldest individual tree in the world was Methuselah, a 4,845-year-old Great Basin bristlecone pine (Pinus longaeva)

As we read about the Fig tree cursed by Jesus, we must do as the apostles did, they said after Jesus calmed the sea…

Matthew 8:27

Jesus said to the fig tree… “May you never bear fruit again!”

Matthew 21:20

When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?” they asked.

Matthew 21:21

Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.

Today’s lesson is about the Almighty Majestic King that came among us 2016 years ago, but He was here at the Creation of the Universe…as God said on the first day “let there be Light”, and there was Light, and this Light was Jesus who appeard before the Sun was made on the fourth-day. The affirmation of Jesus’ presence is as declared by God… “Let “US” make man in ‘Our’ likeness.

Facts 1: No one has ever seen God… except His Son Jesus.

John 1:18

No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Facts 2 He knows you even before you were born…

Jeremiah 1:5  [Full Chapter] KJV

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

The Prophet Is Called

Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

Then said I:

“Ah, Lord God!
Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.”

But the Lord said to me:

“Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’
For you shall go to all to whom I send you,
And whatever I command you, you shall speak.
Do not be afraid of their faces,
For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord.

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Nothing we face is too big to handle… Because our Redeemer who knew JOB and in the midst of Job’s plight God had faith in Job, and Job had faith in God, as Job said… “For I know my Redeemer lives and I shall stand with Him on that day” …

So today we all can trust in our Savior as He said “Come unto to me all those who are heavily burdened”.

The Apostle Paul wrote… Paul who Jesus chose as His Vessel to bring the Gospel to us, a man whom Jesus called spoke these words as He Paul said…’I know of a man who was caught up into the third heavens’ 2 Corinthians 12:2

I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows. In Context | Full Chapter |

Devotionals for Monday April 4th, 2016

MORNING:

Topic:   What is the most beautiful thing you can imagine today?

No it’s not man-made, because man really have not made anything. Whatever we have that are so-called ‘man-made’ are derived from what the Creator provided.  The wonder of God’s creation and the splendor and beauty are provided for us by a loving God.

Focus:  God gave us dominion over all living things. Can you imagine the price paid for a paining depicting a bunch of SuVincent Willem van Gogh 127.jpgnflower sold in 1987 for almost $40 Million US Dollars? Which now translates to $83 Million in today’s dollars.

Done by Vincent Van Gogh who sold only one painting during his lifetime the ‘Red-Vineyard’.  Van Gogh’s seven famous pieces to date brought in almost a three-quarter of a billion dollars.

Van Gogh died penny less, his mother threw out boxes of his art works. One of his painting of the ‘IRISES’ done while he was in the hospital considered among his last paintings, it was sold on November 12, 1987 for $53.9 Million Dollars.

God also gave us dominion over our talents, and if one was wise the only thing we should not have dominion over is our lives.  This is to be entrusted to our Lord. As the substance of our life considered the most intrinsic of all we ever will possess is our Soul.

Text: Mark 8:35-37New International Version (NIV)

35 For whoever wants to save their life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. 36 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? 37 Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

Commentary: “PK” (Preacher’s kid) they usually do not follow in the footsteps of the father.  Just as Billy Graham said if you were born in a garage this will not make you a car, therefore as we read a little about Vincent Van Gogh whose father was a church minister, and he tried to follow but failed the entrant exams to seminary school. Van Gogh’s work expressed what he saw and his impressions depicted the wonders of God’s creation as seen in Starry-night to which his brother Theo, manager of a Parisian art gallery and a gifted connoisseur was not impressed and probably thought this was the work of someone in the asylum as Vincent was an inmate for a while.

More recent findings are telling a clearer story of Van Gogh’s work to reveal his belief in Christ.  Art is defined as “use of the imagination”, painted or presented in various forms that evokes criticism and admiration.  While Van Gogh is said to have committed suicide, there are some theory that he was shot by stray bullets.  He we see a man that tied, failed, served and stood fast in his belief and the real message of his art is really depicting the’ Wonder of God’s creation’ as seen by a man leaving the confinement of his hospital room.

Another noted person that we would like to reflect back to would be Blaise Pascal, who sewed a prayer in his vest and carried this to the day he died… When Pascal died in 1662, a friend found a note sewed into the lining of his vest close to his heart. In the brief note, Pascal recounted a mystical experience of God that occurred eight years before his death on November 23, 1654. Pascal, philosopher and mathematician, encountered the living God he says from about half past ten at night until about half past midnight. He described it like this:

When Pascal died in 1662, a friend found a note sewed into the lining of his vest close to his heart. In the brief note, Pascal recounted a mystical experience of God that occurred eight years before his death on November 23, 1654. Pascal, philosopher and mathematician, encountered the living God he says from about half past ten at night until about half past midnight. He described it like this:

GOD of Abraham, GOD of Isaac, GOD of Jacob

not of the philosophers and of the learned.

Certitude. Certitude. Feeling. Joy. Peace.

GOD of Jesus Christ.

My God and your God. Your GOD will be my God.

Forgetfulness of the world and of everything, except GOD.

He is only found by the ways taught in the Gospel.

Grandeur of the human soul.

Righteous Father, the world has not known you, but I have known you.

Joy, joy, joy, tears of joy….

This is eternal life, that they know you, the one true God, and the one that you sent, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ.

I left him; I fled him, renounced, crucified.

Let me never be separated from him…. know you, the one true God, and the one that you sent, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ.

I left him; I fled him, renounced, crucified.

Let me never be separated from him…. GOD of Abraham, GOD of Isaac, GOD of Jacob

not of the philosophers and of the learned. (This was attached inside Pascal’s vest, word daily till he died)

EVENING:

Devotional:

As we repeat the word of Pascal… "God of Abraham, God of Isaac, God of Jacob, not of the philosophers and scholars...Joy, joy, joy, tears of joy...'This is life eternal that they might know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.' Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ...May I not fall from him forever...I will not forget your word. Amen."

Let us share the Joy of our Living Savior Jesus Christ our Redeemer… because he lives we can face tomorrow.

His Promise:

His Faithfulness:

The Love of God is an Unconditional Love, His Love for us caused Him to have sent His Son Jesus to die and by Dying Jesus Redeemed us from the everlasting damnation. What is the everlasting Damnation? Is this Death? No, it is the eternal separation from God in a place known as Hell, this is why our God who is a Loving God is also known as a God of a Consuming Fire. He came and Paid It All, for our Sin, and by His Priceless Gift, He granted us His Grace (Unmerited Time) to receive His Priceless Gift. His Grace will Expire upon His coming or upon us passing into eternity before accepting His Priceless Gift.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

A Fact that everyone should know… He (God) Created us in His Likeness, and being in His likeness, we never Die, as he lives forever... So come to Him today and Accept His Priceless Gift and be sealed with His Blood of Atonement. Go to our Green Pasture Page and receive Him today.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father we have Victory in You through Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity. Topic:   Walk by Faith and not by feeling, our mission is to Know Christ and to make Him known…

Topic:  The Invincible Combination: His Word & our Faith = Victory

Focus:  The Power of Grace + Faith x Life²= Everlasting Life in Jesus

Text:  Daniel 3:13-28

New International Version (NIV)

13 Furious with rage, Nebuchadnezzar summoned Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. So these men were brought before the king, 14 and Nebuchadnezzar said to them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the image of gold I have set up? 15 Now when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe and all kinds of music, if you are ready to fall down and worship the image I made, very good. But if you do not worship it, you will be thrown immediately into a blazing furnace. Then what god will be able to rescue you from my hand?”

16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”

19 Then Nebuchadnezzar was furious with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and his attitude toward them changed. He ordered the furnace heated seven times hotter than usual20 and commanded some of the strongest soldiers in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and throw them into the blazing furnace. 21 So these men, wearing their robes, trousers, turbans and other clothes, were bound and thrown into the blazing furnace.22 The king’s command was so urgent and the furnace so hot that the flames of the fire killed the soldiers who took up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, 23 and these three men, firmly tied, fell into the blazing furnace.

24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, “Weren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?”

They replied, “Certainly, Your Majesty.”

25 He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.”

26 Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, “Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!”

So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire, 27 and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.

28 Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.

Commentary: The Power of His Glory… The protection of our God given to Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego is still available today. The power of God’s Word combined with our Faith can move mountain, but without Faith there is no Power; and Without GRACE there is no Power.  Today many of us use the text from the scripture… ‘I can do all things though Christ that strengthens me’ it is so overused that this precious scripture has become an idiom in today’s communication.  When Jesus said if we have faith like a Mustard seed, we can move mountain… was He speaking of a physical mountain? Or was He using a metaphor of our self-indulgence that He was referring to as a ‘Mountain’?  One of the Highest Power of Faith that we received from Him is the Power of Faith in Him, and when we do; our Faith is now combined with His Grace and this is the ultimate Power that we have received from our Sovereign God. Faith + His Grace x Life x 2 = Ever-Lasting Life.  This equation is Divine and is only available through our Redeemer Jesus The Christ.  Why do we say ‘The’ Christ?  Christ is not Jesus’ last name, Christ is the Divine Chosen Endowed Supreme Son of God, Anointed by The Father and made His Son, His incarnate God in One of His Holy Spirit; Christ Jesus Messiah.

Therefore, the Power of our Faith + His Grace x Life²= Everlasting Life in Christ Jesus. This equation is the highest power of all mathematic formulae.  A Divine Power from our Sovereign Eternal God.

His Promise: Our Lord did not promise us a ‘Rose Garden’ He ‘Gave’ us one, but being so full of ‘Self-worth’, Self and more of ourselves, we just could not stop to smell the Rose, we ‘wanted it’ to ‘Own’ it and to possess it for ourselves. The First Commandment is that we should have no Other God, and the 2nd is, Love our neighbors as ourselves, and one of Highest Great Commands are to serve others and bring His Good News to others.  Each of these Edict is His Command to be applied singularly and in a combination to achieve the Power that He endowed upon us.

Conclusion:

His Grace is the Catalyst that ignites our Faith and when these two forces are fused together the power of His Redemption is now in us.  No one comes to the Father unless through Jesus His Son our Redeemer. Therefore, the Power our Faith + His Grace x Life²= Everlasting Life in Christ Jesus. This equation is the highest power of all mathematic formulae.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father we have Victory in You through Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity. MORNING:

Topic:   Where is the inner-chamber of Gods’ abode? It is right in your heart, Is yours his abode?

Why is the Heart mentioned when sincerity is expressed?

A new study by Massachusetts Institute of Technology reveals how two populations of neurons in the brain contribute to the brain's inability to correctly assign emotional associations to events. Learning how this information is routed and misrouted could shed light on mental illnesses including depression, addiction, anxiety, and posttraumatic stress disorder.

You heart is affected by your emotions…  anger is known to elevate blood pressure, Because the brain is controlled by your emotions and your heart is the ‘broadcast-station’ as the neurons in the brain as a function of the Heart’s pulse that reacts to bad news and things that irritate us.

Jesus spoke a lot about the heart.

Commentary:

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, Ephesians 3:19-21 (in Context) Ephesians 3 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

2 Peter 1:11 for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.2 Peter 1:10-12 (in Context) 2 Peter 1 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that 2,016 years ago when You came to earth, You came so that we will have life and have it more abundantly. Lord we thank You for Your Covenant of Grace, and it is by Your Grace that we are saved.  Lord thank You for bringing Visitors to this site, as we are privileged to serve You and all for Your Glory Lord. Bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Peace as we thank You for Your Favors. Lord today be with us as we look to You knowing that all things work for Good to those that loves You Lord. 26 To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations—

The most important day of your Christian Life is TODAY!

Know this…

 1 Timothy 2:5-6

New Living Translation (NLT)

5 For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. 6 He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time.

Commentary:

Yesterday is Gone… Tomorrow when it comes it will be ‘Today’ but the moment in time is Now! What are you doing about your Christian life?  Stop and first know that He is God.  Each day when we meet a friend or even a stranger we would say, how are You? Have you said Good Morning Lord? What are we thinking? We are thinking about Him, because He is REAL.

The chosen Praise song for today is…’My God is Real’ Yes He is real and He (Jesus) was before Abraham.  The book of Genesis started with the Creation and went onto the Garden of Eden, the Flood, Cain and Abel, Abraham, Sodom and Gomorrah, Esau & Jacob… and more.

The events of the Bible chronologically recorded the Greatness of God. When we read the Bible which is still the best seller of all times, one would gather the highlights of the events, and now focus on the most important contents of this book.  What is the most important content?  The Bible is all about Jesus, From the Creation in Genesis to the book of Revelation, Jesus is fully immersed in all of the events.

The Ten Commandments given to man is like the little book handed out when you buy a car, or is best like the safety suggestions on the card in the back of each Airplane seats.  This card will tell you not to smoke, not to try and open the escape hatch, not to block the isles etc. The Ten Commandments also provide our Conscience of what we did wrong. But conscience cannot save us, it only tells us when we did something wrong.   Just like Temptation cannot kill you nor is it a Sin, but the moment we indulge then we have sinned, and Conscience is step one of committing a sin.   Therefore, when tempted, let your conscience play the most important role, and listen to your conscience and respond by saying ‘you are right and I should not do that’.

Victory is an event to be enjoyed, unless we succeed we do not have Victory to be savored, therefore let us declare that Victory is better than remorse, and the wages of sin is death. (No we did not make this up) God said…

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:22-23 (in Context) Romans 6 (Whole Chapter)

What a disappointing outcome? To be paid by death…how could one choose to work and be paid by being killed? Would you take this job? Certainly not.  But we enroll for this job every day.  So let’s stop and step out of this line and join the line that offers the Free Gift of Eternal Life offered by Christ Jesus.

Jesus Christ our Redeemer ascended to the Throne of Righteousness and He is our Mediator. Jesus also said “No one come to the Father except through Him”

John 14:6 NKJV

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:5-7 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Principle: 2 Timothy 1:7 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

7 For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 1:7 (NASB)

7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

Action/Coming to our Lord:

We can come to our Lord Jesus Boldly, as He give us Victory in Him:

1 John 5:3-4 (NASB)

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome. 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

1 John 4:4 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

4 You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

EVENING:

Conclusion:

Today is the most important day in your life, because? Today you can make Reconciliation with the most important person ever.  Look at what He is saying…

1 John 5:14-15 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
