Each life is made up of mistakes and learning, waiting and growing, practicing patience and being persistent. By… Billy Graham (A quotation by Dr. Billy Graham)

All our lives are made up of mistakes, regardless if you are the king of a country, a kingdom or a continent. Hopefully we all will learn from our mistakes. As Dr. Graham outlined… ‘growing’, practicing and being patient with persistent, the answer will be successful, when we allow the Lord to be the Author and Finisher of our faith.

There’s no one on earth that can say ‘I have never made a mistake’ Moses did, Joshua did, and so did we.

But after all is said and done, taking all our ‘baggage’ to the cross, and allow Jesus to be the Author and Finisher, Like Moses and Joshua they finished well.

Moses in a rage struck the rock, and God was angry, yet God did let the water flow for the people. For this Moses was denied entry to the Promised Land.

By Moses’ faith in God, God did grant Moses entry to a Higher mountain (Heaven); as we see Moses and Elijah at the Transfiguration of Jesus.

Matthew 17  (NKJV)

Jesus Transfigured on the Mount

17 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. But Jesus came and touched them and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid.” When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.

The Faithfulness of our Supreme Eternal God…

Today as we consider the love of Christ, we must acknowledge that He is the Same Yesterday, Today and Forever.

Jesus said… “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” Hebrews 13: 5

Commentary: One could say…I do not want to be a Christian, because if I do, I cannot continue to enjoy the things of this world, Let’s look at the verb ‘Enjoy’, this is a word derived from ‘rejoice’  it is an experience. Experience do not last forever, it is like the four little apples that I picked a few days ago, they are now no longer fresh and are not good for eating. So are the pleasures of the world, and many of these can leave you with guilt and remorse which is the price of sin. Not the apples, they can still be made into preserves and be enjoyed as a jelly. But the worldly life of a non-Christian leads to emptiness, therefore, without Christ the ‘enjoy’ is not real ‘Joy’… Joy is perpetual when you know Christ.

Trusting God and knowing Him leads to:

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear (loves) Him, and delivers them (you)... Oh, fear the Lord, you saints! There is no want to those who fear Him… Psalm 34: 7, 9 NKJV

The bible refers to believers as ‘Saints’ through Jesus Christ our Lord we have this privilege of receiving His Salvation by His Grace. Fortunately, no one can buy or earn His Salvation, otherwise heaven would be a place full of ‘boastful’ people. We are saved by His Grace and not of anything we do or can do.

When we have the knowledge of His Good News that He died and Rose Triumphantly and ascended to heaven where He said He went to prepare a place for you (if you know Him) what a privilege of being in touch with the Most-High at this moment. He said come to Him and He will give you rest.

The Christian life is full of Joy… Following Christ is what ‘Christianity’ means; and in Jesus we have that Victory and being filled with His Holy Spirit (His Comforter) we have the JOY.  Knowing that Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and forever… we have His assurance of Heaven to be a real place where Jesus is King of His Kingdom.

Right now, you can speak with the King of kings, you do not have to wait to get to heaven… you have access to Jesus because he said, “Come unto me”.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come... Lord today as we dedicate this week to You Lord, lead us and guide us, bless our Visitors and grant us all Your favors.  Lord we pray for all Your servants engaged in Your mission fields to be equipped as we look to You knowing that all our needs are provided by Your Grace. We pray in your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday: April 29, 2019

Start this Monday with a tankful of love for your work, your neighbors, even your enemies, and top it off with the Love of Christ.

The Love of Christ

Romans 8:35

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Romans 8:39

nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Today as we go to the Lord, let us not put our personal needs above the quest for the scripture of the Gospel to be spread across the world.

He knows our needs, and He overlooked our faults.

You may say “fault? I really done have any… guess what, it you were perfect then Jesus would not need to die. And if you say, “I am without faults”, then you made Jesus a liar…

Jesus said…

John 3:7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’

If you knew the cure for cancer and did not tell anyone, how would you feel seeing your friends dying? And not sharing the Good News? The equivalent to this is to know the Salvation of Christ and His Divine Grace and not being Sharing this.

Even our canine friends are now able to diagnose thyroid  cancer. Dogs are trained to identify a person that has Thyroid cancer.

Come and Thank the Lord for His Divine Providence, Praise Him and Adore Him…

Devotionals for Sunday: April 28, 2019

Come and Thank the Lord for His Divine Providence, Praise Him and Adore Him…

Coming to Thank the Lord, it doesn’t have to be a special trip, you can do this right where you are at this moment. But, today is the Lord’s day… Sunday is a day of being in Oneness in the Body of Christ.

Galatians 3:26-29  (NIV)

26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Reading the Bible or attending Church or praying on your own cannot save you… these bold statements are rather contrary to many preacher’s definition of being saved.  I was reading this morning about instructions from a pastor to one of his congregation... “Go home and Pray” If you are an ambassador of a country,  It is your responsibility being an ambassador or if you are an officer at the Embassy, if someone comes and asks ”how can I seek political asylum as I am being pursued by my government for speaking about being a Christian”, would we say go home and wait? Wait for what? To be arrested. Or a miracle?  The same applies if someone comes and said, I am facing a doubt in my mind of how to be sure I have been saved? The answer is not one of Reading the Bible or attending Church or praying, Praying may save you if you were praying to the Lord Jesus and in fact called upon His name.

So, the instructions go home and Pray may not help you in finding the Truth. The Trust defined as the Good News of His Salvation.  It is the duty of the Pastor to counsel and provide guidance.  Therefore, we are doing what Paul was saying to the Philippians, described below…

Philippians 1:12-18  (NIV)

Paul’s Chains Advance the Gospel

12 Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. 13 As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. 14 And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.

15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill.16 The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.17 The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. 18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.

Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,

His Promise & His Faithfulness:

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Action / Coming to our Lord:

We were born in Sin and are still sinner till that day when we are sanctified in HIS KINGDOM, where Sin cannot enter as our Lord will not tolerate Sin , therefore sin cannot be in HIS presence.

ROMANS 8   Paul “What a wretched man I am”

Our Lord is a God of a Consuming Fire

The Solution is…. Hebrews 7:25
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

Key note:  We are to add nothing to the Gospel, (No Pre-condition)

  • The Gospel defined in:
  • 2 Corinthians 1: 66
  • Romans 10

Faith & the Holy Spirit are the Keys and our anchor; see Romans 12

Principles:  Any method of Salvation that departs from Faith is the basis for a perversion or it is no Gospel at all.

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Heavenly Father in Christ Jesus we come knowing that our Lord & Savior Jesus sits on the Throne of Righteousness and as we come, He intercedes for us. Lord we are privileged to serve You Lord and to bring Your Good News to all. Lord let our visitors find Grace in You as Your Faithfulness is forever and those that call on You Lord will be Saved. We give You our Praises and we thank You for our Visitors to be blessed by Your Holy Spirit. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Eternal Sovereign God in One of the Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday: April 27, 2019

Be prepared for a time of Joy, Splendor, & Security…

Imagine the that our Lord knows all our needs, yours, mine and everyone else. No computer can give you a status report on each individual’s need on an up to the minute basis.

Yet God knows and sees it all, it was amazing that when Jesus was resurrected, He did ask the angel to tell Mary that He went ahead of His disciples and He then said, “and Peter too”.

Just think that after being crucified, dying and upon His Resurrection He remembered Peter.

Yes, He did remember Peter, even after Peter denied Him. And He also remembers you and us today.

Did you know? God’s plan includes you, is your name entered in His book of Life?

You may say how do I know that God has a plan for me? I have no special training, nor talent that the almighty God would want me as part of his plans.

Neither did Moses, David, Amos, or even Saul who became Paul...

Because you have been created in the likeness of God, You are a masterpiece. You’re an original. Not a copy and there is no one else like you.

Just think Jesus said even the very hairs on your head are numbered, so we were created to serve and not to be served. Just like our redeemer Lord and Savior… Jesus who made us children of Light.

Moses did say… Exodus 3: 11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” (the rest of the interaction between Moses and God is history)

Like Amos, who was just a shepherd who God sent to warn the Israelites…

Amos 7:11

For this is what Amos is saying: “‘Jeroboam will die by the sword, and Israel will surely go into exile, away from their native land.’

Amos 7:12

Then Amaziah said to Amos, “Get out, you seer! Go back to the land of Judah. Earn your bread there and do your prophesying there.

Amos 7:14

Amos answered Amaziah, “I was neither a prophet nor the son of a prophet, but I was a shepherd, and I also took care of sycamore-fig trees. In Context |

So, do not worry about your ‘qualifications’ when you are equipped by the Lord you will be able to accomplish the Lord’s mission regardless of any ridicule like what they did to Amos above.

Conclusion: Today we look at a world that is so separated by man’s greed and exploitation. Syria (Antioch) is known to have been the birth place of the Church of Christianity in the city of Antioch.  As we see a divided world of Moslems, Jews, Christians and other beliefs of Buddhism and others, we have a world that has drifted apart from God with their own agenda to dominate their regions and to expand their religion on a global basis. Notice the word used is “ReligionReligion is not Salvation, only Jesus Christ represents Salvation as Jesus is the only one that Died for our Sins. No one else died for others, except Jesus who made the Sacrifice to Redeem us from Sin.

Watch for… The DAY OF THE LORD… This is the day when our Lord will return, but the prelude to the Day of the Lord will be the Rapture… there will be the Sound of the Trumpet, but not everyone will hear it, only those in Christ will hear it.

Let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus that Paid It All… Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions and where You are, we will be. Lord,  today let Your Holy Spirit be with us as we pray in Your Holy

Consider it a great privilege to be chosen and be sent. So, today… Stop-Look-Listen the Lord is calling you.

Lord, today as we pause to hear Your calling, Lord reveal to each of us Your desire. We acknowledge that You did say to Your disciples… take nothing, and do not worry what you will say, as your Holy Spirit will empower each of us. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we seek Your Divine blessing on all, and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday: April 26, 2019

Your best years are ahead of you, do you believe this to be so? Find it here…

It’s easy to say the above statement to someone who is in their teens or even in their fifties. But to an octogenarian (of 80 years plus) how can the ‘best years be ahead in their lives?

It’s all because of Jesus, as He said, He came that we (all) can have an abundant life, and have it ‘more-abundantly’

John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

We have oftentimes mentioned this passage of scripture, because it encapsulates what Jesus said of His mission.

He was saying that while we have the challenges of this world, it will be an abundant life, and that it will be more abundant in the life to come.

So, let’s take the steps to the abundance while we are here, and He did give us the ‘Secret’ of how…

In Matthew 6: 33 He outlined this…

Matthew 6:33 In Context

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (as well)

‘As-well’ means that He will provide a way to His Kingdom though His Righteousness, all the other things will be added, as well.

The ‘secret’ of His statement is, that in all ‘thing’s He is Pre-eminent, and when we have sought Him, and the ‘as-well’ that he will provide should be secondary, and not to be made idols.

The Lord provided His Providence, and many times the beneficiaries of what He provided, led the recipients to forget Him the giver.

Historically, we see the falling-away from the Lord, and one example is King Solomon, Solomon did what was asked, he built the temple, led his people to prosperity, gained respects from his neighbors by the widespread knowledge of his success and his kingdom.

including the Queen of Sheba. But in the end, he was misled by his foreign wives and ruins.

So, today as we are granted the Abundant life, let us stay the course, knowing that without Christ we are nothing.

John 15:5 In Context

Jesus said…

“I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

What is God’s Providence? To some it may be the things that we are surrounded with, the things that He has provided for our daily lives.  But God’s Providence goes much further, it something that money cannot purchase.

The Providence of the Lord is greater that the anything we can imagine.

Remember Jesus said… All your needs will be met. Be patient do not do what Sara did.

Thoughts for the day: God’s timeline is His, our timeline are usually flawed, and God knows what’s best for us all.

“The battle is not yours, but God’s. … Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed.   2 Chronicles 20:15, 17.”

God’s Covenant will never pass away, and His assurance in Chronicles and in Deuteronomy must be remembered and respected. And for us Gentiles, God made it clear in Romans 8:31-39 More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The true test of one’s ability to be a good steward is when the abundance of the Lord is received.  Wealth, is somewhat associated with change of attitudes, it can make one arrogant, boastful, proud with ‘Pride’ but for those that know that ‘Pride’ comes before destruction, they will remain humble and in some cases, are made a better person to share the providence of the Lord with many.

The love of anything that takes up our focus can be counted as an ‘Idol’ therefore do not place too much importance on anything that takes precedence over our Lord.  The Bible said… let you your giving be done in secret:

Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Lord and Savior... Lord we are privileged to bring Your message of being good-stewards for Your Glory. Lord all wealth and honor come from You Lord and without You Lord Jesus we can do nothing.  Lord we honor You knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and in Your Hands, are strength and Power. Lord be with our Visitors as we all go in Faith looking to that day when we shall see You Lord Jesus. Lord we give You thanks and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday: April 25, 2019

Jesus is offering you an Abundant Life, get it today, it’s ready to be granted now!

Good News -His Faithfulness:

When you know and trust our Lord, the Bible said…”He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways” Psalm 91:11.  Only our Lord prays for us, as His angels are constantly at work to safeguard us, His angels are here to minister to us and to guide us into our Lord’s presence at our life’s journey in heaven forever.  His angels are sent to serve those who loves the Lord and those our Lord made Joint-Heirs to His Kingdom.

Because our Sovereign Eternal Savior, Jesus Christ the Son of God, who is God Incarnate in His Holy Trinity is our Mediator and is Interceding for us to His Father, Jesus our Redeemer sitting on the Throne of Righteousness who Paid-It-All, and He died and through His Divine Resurrection, we are presented to his Father as ‘Redeemed’ and through His Blood of Atonement we are no long filthy rags.

What a privilege our Lord Jesus gave us… He took us out of the trash-heap and made us into fine-linen worthy of coming into the Presence of His Father.

His Faithfulness:

Jesus the giver of Life – everlasting, remember that a ‘Free’ Gift had to be bought by the giver, and Jesus bought His Priceless Gift with His Life by dying for us, and His Payment was Redeemed by the Father as He Rose from death. His Resurrection is a Witness of what He has endowed for those in Jesus who shall also share in His Glory through His Divine Redemption.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

John 14:5-7 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Jesus is not our ‘Buddy’ He is the Supreme-Sovereign God in One of The Father, yet He said…. I am your friend… John 15:15

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter |

Coming to the Lord:

So, when we gather in His Holy Name, remember Jesus is always in our Midst. Jesus said…  “Where two or more are gathered in my name, I am in the Midst” Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” In Context | Full Chapter |

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart…

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come; Lord Jesus thank You for being our Mediator to the Father.  Lord it is because of Your Righteousness we are privileged to come in Your Holy Presence.  Lord, thank You for Your Divine Grace as You have prepared a place for us all knowing that You have said You are not of this world… Lord as we go in faith, Lord remove the challenges and lead us all to green pastures as it is by Your Divine Providence that You gave us an abundant life and a more-abundant life to come. Lord we thank You for our Visitors to this site, bless us all Jesus Messiah, and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Stop searching… Find the Living Water and the Lord’s Green Pastures…

His Promise:

Revelation 21:22-27 (NIV)

22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it.27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.† (End of Text)

The message above is saying… our Lord will not tolerate Sin, and Sinners cannot come into His presence, but it is only by the Grace of our Lord Jesus that washed our sins away so that we can be made whole to come into the Kingdom of our Lord.

He is Faithful and He said… Eden will be Restored

Revelation 22:

22 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

His Faithfulness:

Revelation 7:17

For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’ ”

Action / Coming to our Lord:

John 1:18  New International Version (NIV)

18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Let us boldly come to our Lord Jesus today, because, the Bible said…”You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world”.  1 John 4: 4 NKJV

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God we come into Your Holy presence. Lord Jesus today we stand at the Cross knowing that You came and Paid-It-All, and that You are on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord all things point to the day that will be known as ‘The Day of The Lord’… By Your Grace Lord we can say come and come quickly as the prophecy of Your teaching are being fulfilled. Lord bless our Visitors and us all as we seek Your Divine leadership in our lives, and Your Holy Spirit to be in us and we seek Your Blessing, and lift You up before all; knowing we serve you Lord Jesus our Eternal God in One of our Father and Creator and by Your Holy Spirit Lord let Your favors be granted as we Thank You Lord and give You the Praises and the Power and Glory be Yours now and Forevermore… Amen.

It’s not too late to let Jesus be the Author and Finisher of your Faith…

You may be a senior citizen even retired, or an executive or a business person, or a work from home and a homemaker, and even as a senior in high school or an undergrad. It’s not too late or too early to make Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith.

And even better yet, let Him be the Author and Finisher of your life. But the Lord doesn’t want to be the dictator of our lives, He made us with ‘Free-Will’ so that we can govern ourselves.

From the early days of

Adam in the Garden God gave Hime Free Will. But, God

did set a boundary to which Adam had to stay Why? He created us with the freedom of choice.

Do not clutter your life with small-stuffs, the demonstration of the Jar filled with rocks that may be considered full, yet there is room for pebbles, and then it may be considered really full, but yet there is room for sand that now makes the jar totally full.

Sand is the small stuff, if you were to pour the sand in first there would be no room for the Rock, nor the Pebbles.

So, in life, stand on the Solid Rock, which is Christ, gather your families and friends (Pebbles) and leave room to think, to share and to move around by leaving out the small-stuffs.

Jesus overlooked our faults and by His Amazing-Grace He knew our needs and provided it all…

Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. In Context | Full Chapter |

Delight yourself in the Lord…

Psalm 35:9

Then my soul will rejoice in the Lord and delight in his salvation. In Context | Full Chapter |

Psalm 18:19 He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because He delighted in me.

In Context | Full Chapter |

I would rather be saying… my soul will rejoice in the Lord and delight in his salvation rather than be pounding sand for the rest of my time.  Because my Lord is Faithful, and He said that He will bring me into a spacious place by rescuing me; because He delights in those that hear His calling and go according to His great commission.

Matthew 28: 16-20 (NIV) All powers are given to the Risen Savior…

16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

The Great Commission

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

The Fragrance of the Lord…

Come to Jesus today; go to our Green Pasture page…

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

As we spread the Word of our Lord, His Fragrance will also surround us... If you had a choice of who to represent, assuming the choice was a Winner versus an unknown that could be a loser in the end, the obvious choice would be to go with the winner... The following words are what described our Lord Jesus when we choose HIM:

  • Victory
  • Triumph
  • Sovereignty
  • Joint-Heir
  • Providence
  • Goodness & Righteousness

Remember our Lord also gave us a Sound-Mind with Power. Now all this goodness is wrapped up in one tidy package which Jesus called... Faith.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord today we Praise You and thank You Lord for Your Graciousness. Lord thank You for the privilege of serving You and having Visitors to our sites bearing Your Good for Your Glory. Lord we seek Your Divine guidance and we seek Your blessings on our Visitors and Lord let there be just one that will come to know You today as the angels will celebrate in heaven. Lord we pray for the needs of all as we know that in You, we have Victory and all things work together for good as we love You Lord. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the power and the glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Think on this today:

Because Jesus said, He came that we may have an abundant life and have it 'more' abundantly... why did Jesus said 'more' in describing 'Abundant'? Because He has prepared a way for each of us to have a 'Double-Portion' and His double-portion is an eternal life in Him.

No, we are not forgotten by the Lord, He said He is Coming, and we can believe Him

The Silent Years

Thoughts for the Day:  HE SAID COME… JUST AS IAM AM, O LORD I COME….

TOPIC: We cannot add or subtract anything from the Gospel, Our Lord makes no preference

Good News: You are perfect in His sight when you come to Him and receive Him.

TEXT: John 3:6-7 New King James Version (NKJV)

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

Commentary:  The Gospel is the Good News, this is the ‘Best’ News you will ever hear in your entire lifetime…The message is; Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinners. Yes., our Lord came from His Kingdom of Paradise to become poor for our sake that through His poverty we will be rich.  Yes, when you Know Him you are rich in His Grace, and His Grace is all you need, as He said He will never leave you nor forget you.

Matthew, Mark, Luke & John referred to as the Gospel and also as the synoptic-gospels, there were a period of 400 years referred to as the ‘Silent-Years’  from the end of the Old Testament period to Matthew announcing the Birth of our Savior.  Matthew the Tax-collector called by Jesus compiled the event of Christ and the teaching of Jesus with a high degree of consistency, and all of these events are ratified and affirmed in the other gospel written by Mark, Luke and John.

The Gospel recorded Jesus’ Ministry and His Teaching. But there’s more than just the Teaching of Jesus, it reveals His Deity His Father’s Divine Affirmation of Jesus as the Beloved Son of GOD.

Read Matthew 17:1-13.

Of all the prophets, why did God choose Moses and Elijah to talk with Jesus at that time?

Deuteronomy 3:27 New King James Version (NKJV) 27 Go up to the top of Pisgah, and lift your eyes toward the west, the north, the south, and the east; behold it with your eyes, for you shall not cross over this Jordan.

Moses was forbidden to cross the Jordan to the Promised-Land. On the other hand, we see the event of the transfiguration that occurred around 31 AD, Matthew 17: 2-4 New King James Version (NKJV) Jesus Transfigured on the Mount

17 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.

This was to demonstrate that Moses was not left in the wilderness.

2 Peter 1:16-18

PETER gave testimony of his own personal experience as he witnessed this when Jesus was Glorified before them.

The Trustworthy Prophetic Word

16 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” 18 And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.

When we are disappointed by our Lord (which is not a real disappointment, but we take it as one) Just like how God told Moses that he was not going to cross the River Jordan to Canaan, as he was denied going to the Promised-Land, we see that Moses was really taken to the Real Promised-Land… Heaven.

Sometimes you might wonder why did God not make you a famous person or a wealthy individual, and why are you just a simple wage-earner?  Stop and reflect, maybe you are very wealthy in the sight of God. Are you leading others to our Lord? Are you building His Kingdom by His Precepts? If so, this is Good; if not, what is the real purpose of your life? We have the great commission from our Lord. Love your neighbor as yourself.

Sometime this commandment to love others is an almost impossible order but is it possible that we can demonstrate our love for even our enemies.

1 Timothy 1:15

New King James Version (NKJV)

15 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

Grace brings Freedom through the Holy Spirit – Follow the Spirit

2nd Corinth. 4: 7 * Jars of Clay Our Treasures are in Jars of Clay and must be exposed to let others see the Gift of The Holy Spirit.

In today’s hustle & bustle it is hard to stop and reflect on the Grace that we have from our Lord.  Grace is defined as ‘UN-Merited’; while we face the challenges of this world, our Lord God in His infinite power sent His Son Jesus to redeem us…. 2 Corinthians 8: For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

We wrote about the a small boy that found the family Bible which was covered with dust, as he began turning the pages, he said…”Mummy is it true that the Bible is God’s book?” his mommy said yes it is, he then said “then we better give it back to Him because we never use it”, is this describing our own use of the Bible?  Today we have the Bible online and many versions on our smart phones.  One thing for sure the word of God is sharper than any two-edged swords.

2 Corinthians 2:14
But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.

While the world undergoes the turmoil of war, rumors of war and terrorism, we have Hope (mentioned 121 times in the KJV and 159 times in the NIV Bibles.)

  • JOY: Joy is mentioned 244 times in the Bible, considering the announcement of our Savior’s Birth… Luke 2:10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. His Promise:

2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
