Morning:

Focus:     A new week a fresh outlook or is it more of the same?  The Lord makes it new every-morning… in Him we have Victory, so enjoy the day and keep looking up.

How can you look beyond the challenges of this new week? Bring everything to the Lord… He said:

TEXT:  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let you requests be made known to God. Philippines 4: 6

Let us look at the Unconditional love of our Lord…

Commentary: Our Lord came as a man, lived among ‘ordinary people’ though He was Sovereign yet He grew up among his half brothers and sisters and never expounded His superiority now exalted himself.  He served rather than being served, He taught rather than dictate, He gave rather than receive, He loved rather than resented his enemies, He forgave all and He walked among sinners so that they could receive His Salvation.

From the first sign of our Lord’s outreach beyond His family, in the temple we see Jesus at around age 12 sitting and teaching the elders, baffling the ‘learned leader’ and going about His Father’s business.  Then to the first miracle He performed at the request of His mother to turn Water into Wine, He never stood up and took any applause, the credit of the ‘Best-Wine’ was given to the wedding host, and never did he claim it.

Even His display of disgust in the Temple-Court where He evicted the money changers and those selling doves and souvenirs,  He gave the credit to His Father, never did He claim the action to be of His own accord.  He said… “You have made my Father’s House a den of thieves”, Mark 11:17

And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’ In Context | Full Chapter |

His time on the Cross… He said; “Father forgive them for they do not know what they do” why? Because the action of His persecutors and His executioners were all ‘Facilitators’ to the Prophecy of His Sacrifice to redeem us sinners.

The question is, how can we deny such a Savior?  In our sojourned in this life, we all have challenges, what are the challenges that we face?  Our fellow mankind? The evil one? The temptations? The deceit and deceptions? Yes, but we also face the best that our Lord offered: His Love, His Grace, The Fellowship in Him, His Redemption and His Covenant of Grace that points to a place described as Paradise.

Can you claim His Redemption and look to be in Paradise? Probably not as we cannot earn it, we cannot purchase it, we cannot journey to His Kingdom on our own, so how can we ever ‘Receive’ it?

Receiving His Salvation through His Grace can only be through Jesus… none of us can ever come into the presence of God without Jesus. Why, no one has even seen God as said in the Bible why? John 1:18

No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known. In Context | Full Chapter |

The Father will not tolerate sin and we are sinners, unless we come to Jesus who is our Mediator we can never be in the presence of the Father.

Revelation 2:2

I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. In Context | Full Chapter |

EVENING:

Coming to our Lord:

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus as we go through the trials and challenges of this world Lord, we look back 2014 years ago when Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem and had to settle for a stable where You were born my Lord. Lord Jesus we are humbled and humiliated to think that You our Lord had to be born in a stable. Lord if only the innkeeper knew that he was hosting a King and a Lord of lords, Lord we look up to You our Sovereign Eternal God, Your strength was covered by Your Humbleness and mankind has demonstrated our weakness by exalting ourselves while You the Most High allowed us to ultimately realized that we can do nothing and in all things we need You Lord. Lord we thank You for the many blessings and we come giving You our Praises. Lord bless our Visitors and grant each one Your Peace. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Morning:

Focus:      God loves you the way you are, but He wants to make you perfect. Perfection is hard to achieve, even 24 Karat Gold is 99.999% pure, but He can make you perfect = 100% pure.

Because you are washed in His Blood;
1 John 1:7
 [Full Chapter]

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

When you come to Christ and receive Him, He did these for us: through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished

Today as we acknowledge Jesus as our Lord and Savior knowing that because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished. We need to acknowledge Him and receive His assurance.

Contrary to God’s Divine Redemption through Jesus, the devil constantly reminds us of the sin that are ‘Forgiven’ through Christ our redeemer. The devil wants us to be constantly guilty and to force his temptation on us. But we need to have that constant reminder that, greater is He in us… 1 John 4:4 [Full Chapter]

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Study these verses, know that we are purchased at a price and we are set apart as joint heirs to His Kingdom.

Romans 8:17

TEXT: John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. In Context | Full Chapter |

Commentary:  As someone said…"Life is too short to be busy." (Tim Kreider) and we are saying… Life without Christ by being busy in this world will cause you to miss the stairway to His Kingdom… Jesus is there pointing the way.  Find Him and follow Him.

From the mouth of babes:  (Bible Study Fellowship-Children’s class)

(Friday, Sept. 27) When a children's leader asked her Level 1 class last week how they knew the Bible was true, one student answered, "Well, who else could write a story like that but God?"

The Bible is all about Jesus… From Genesis through the Psalms, the Songs of Solomon, the Prophecies and the Life of Christ in the Gospels of Matthew Mark, Luke, John and the Acts then the remainder of the Bible is all about Christ and what he has done for us.

John 15:15

Matthew 7:22
I Never Knew You

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Jesus said… Mark 10:15

Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”

Conclusion: His Promise:

Right now we can start by praying for our friends in need, our neighbor, and even those that offended you today.  Pray for our nation, our leaders and for our Lord to re-align what may need our Lord’s help; in our schools, our government and even in our churches; Plant seeds by speaking positively, never ‘dumb-down’ or putting down anyone, including yourself, step out in Faith…remembering that negativity only breeds failure, and success breeds success.

Devotionals for Friday August 28, 2015

Morning:

Focus:          Why are you special? He made us a unique group because He has set us aside…  We are wrapped in cotton, protected and guided…

Jesus spoke of the Lost Pearl… and in more than one way He was expressing His own experience…

Jesus gave many example of those that went astray and returned, such as the Prodigal son, and the story of the lost sheep.

We can adopt these examples to ourselves and in many way Jesus was expressing His own joy of finding us, as today we acknowledge Him and know that His Grace abounds in our life...  as God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Romans 5: 8 NKJV

Not only did Jesus redeemed us by His Divine Resurrection, He made us Joint-Heirs…

TEXT

Romans 8:16-18New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

1 Peter 2:8-10New American Standard Bible (NASB)

and, “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”;

For they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this doom they were also appointed.

Through the Love and Divine Grace of our Lord Jesus He took us out of the trash-heap and set us apart…

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

1 John 5:3-4English Standard Version (ESV)

Devotionals for Thursday August 27, 2015

Morning:

Focus:   All that glitter is not gold, why is real gold a common building material in God’s Kingdom? Find out why, read on…

Acts 7:47-49New American Standard Bible (NASB)

47 But it was Solomon who built a house for Him. 48 However, the Most High does not dwell in houses made by human hands; as the prophet says:

49 ‘Heaven is My throne,
And earth is the footstool of My feet;
What kind of house will you build for Me?’ says the Lord,
‘Or what place is there for My repose?

Gold is not man-made we can never ‘make’ more gold.  It is said that if all the gold in the world was melted down we would need 3.27 Olympic-sized swimming pools to hold the entire global supply of gold, this volume may increase as we mine more gold. But we cannot make this product, and so is the Kingdom of Heaven not made by human hands.

TEXT: Revelation 21: 18-21 NKV

18 The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. 19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.

Revelation 21New King James Version (NKJV)

All Things Made New

21 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, [b] “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Just like His Kingdom not made by human hands, so are we… We were created in His likeness and not made by human hands. And we are the Living-Temple of God…

2 Corinthians 6:16

Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people. In Context | Full Chapter |

Today let us make our Lord Jesus the center of our lives, give up all things that are ‘idols’ in our lives. Seek Him First and make the Lord Preeminent …

Devotionals for Wednesday August 26, 2015

Morning:

Focus: When opportunity knocks, can you discern if it is good or is it a pitfall? First determine if it is just a reflection before jumping in.

Seizing the opportunity which we may reflect on the event that launched Microsoft… Bill Gates was not waiting around to launch DOS, but the inventor of the system that Gates had to Purchase at the last moment to keep an appointment with IBM was what gave birth to Microsoft®. What happened to the inventor of the system that Gates bought and took to mainstream? The inventors were probably ‘Waiting-around’ for something to happen.  Yes it did happen for them as Gates bought it for a pittance and made one of the World’s richest firm, and empowered America with productivity.  Probably, providence had this for Gates to be the beneficiary as he has demonstrated good stewardship to humanity, and we hope that Gates and Melina is doing this for the Glory of God, as they continue their good works.

One thing we must always remember, that nothing we do, nothing we have or how much we do will ever save us…

TEXT: Ephesians 2: 8 -10 said…

8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

How would the press describe Jesus if He was physically living among us today?
Imagine Jesus being here on earth in, Miami, Manhattan, Los Angeles... how would your society describe our Lord and Savior?

Jesus came from a place of splendor, entered this world as a child born of a Virgin, in a lowly Stable (Manger) rode on a donkey and had did not own a house or nor was he a member of the synagogue or named among the hierarchy of the temple.

2 Corinthians 8:9 New International Version (NIV)

9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, which though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

If we had such a person in our society today such a person would be known as a drifter, a homeless individual, a renegade with a band of guys travelling from town to town. However in all instances all of our Lord’s needs were provided, he never carried money (he has a treasurer named Judas) when it was time to pay the Taxes, he sent his disciples to the pier and told them to cast a line and the fish that they caught, fetch the gold coin from its month and go and pay the tax to Caesar’s treasury.

Yet over 2,000 years ago the vest that HE wore was woven in a one-piece seam free garment without a designer’s label.  The Bible is such a comprehensive book inspired by God, spans the aeon of the ages, including the Prophecies that were fulfilled and those yet to be fulfilled.

EVENING:

HIS FAITHFULNESS:

Our blessed Jesus, as God, is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent. Jesus is our High Priest that sits on the Throne of Righteousness.

We read about Isaiah’s prophecy of the Birth of the Redeemer, (Isaiah 9: 6) and in Isaiah 53 the prophecy of Jesus’ Crucifixion.  We read that when Jesus was crucified, and as He said “It is finished” the Veil (Curtain) in the Temple was torn, this was our Lord’s affirmation of His Crucifixion as the NEW COVENANT.

We read How Jesus Ascended back to The FATHER.  AND WE READ…

Acts:  9. after he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

We see Him as our Eternal Sovereign God.  This same Jesus will return as said in the Bible... Praise God

PRAYER: Thank You Father in Jesus we come… Lord we thank You for Your Covenant of Grace and Your eternal Redemption through Your Blood of Atonement. Lord we are in Faith that Your return will occur as on that day many shall be filled with Joy and those that are not in Your book of Life will separated forever. Lord we thank You for the privilege of spreading Your Good News that today is the day of Salvation and that You are willing to receive those wanting to accept Your Priceless Gift and know You Lord as their Redeemer. Lord let our endeavors reach across this world to bring many to You Lord. We thank You for our Visitors and we ask Your blessing on each and every one as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore…Amen.

The roadblocks in life are what Jesus referred to a ‘Mountains’ and landslides off the mountain side can be devastating Jesus said… “If you have faith like a mustard-seed you can move mountains”

TEXT: Matthew 17:19-21New King James Version (NKJV)

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”

20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief;[a] for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Jesus’ statement is not just a figure of speech it is all powerful, so believe the Lord when He said… “And nothing will be impossible for you”. Why because the Power is from Him and this is granted by Him through our Faith in Him.

The ultimate barrier that Jesus provided a way for us to overcome, (notice the word is ‘overcome’ and not ‘avoid’ as death is unavoidable) the ultimate barrier that we all face is as stated … Hebrews 9:27

Devotionals for Monday August 24, 2015

Morning:

Focus:     Our requests are sometimes not granted by God, why? Is it because we do not deserve it, or our intentions are not intended for good?

Text: James 4:3 Good News Translation (GNT)

And when you ask, you do not receive it, because your motives are bad; you ask for things to use for your own pleasures.

Good News Translation (GNT) Copyright © 1992 by American Bible Society

Thoughts for the Day: The Super-Natural Power of His Care – Jesus is our Just-In-Time Provider… Always

Let us all say… I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. - Romans 1:16

Topic: Our 24-hour clock and God’s timeline, are we spending time in our Lord’s presence?

Colossians 2:9-10 New International Version (NIV)

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.

Commentary: If Jesus were to return today what would you be doing? What would you say to Him?

Would we have put the ‘Talent’ that he gave us to good uses? Or have we squandered them?  What would you say to someone that came up to you and asked…”How do I get to know Jesus Christ?”

Today we want to reflect on His Word of His Good News…

  1. His Assurance:  For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV…. Thank our lord Jesus for His Spirit of Power, of Love, given us a Sound mind that we can give Him the Glory.
  2. He is Mediator: For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a random for all 1 Timothy 2: 5-6 NKJV …. Thank Him that he intercedes to the Father on our behalf, and He Paid-It-All to Redeem us.
  3. Finding our Lord:  Jeremiah 33: 3… Call on Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.  What a privilege He gave us, we can freely come to our Lord.
  4. Meeting our needs:  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4: 6 NKJV… He is never too busy to receive our requests (notice not just one request, as many as we need) so give thanks our Lord knowing that whatever we ask He will provide meeting all our needs.
  5. Salvation through His Blood: In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace... Ephesians 1: 7 NKJV… We are saved by His Grace and in Faith and not by ourselves, it is a ‘Gift’ of God, not of any works, so we cannot boast. (Ephesians 2: 8)
  6. Christ is Eternal, His Word is forever, His Redemption is for Eternity, and those He saved will never be lost… Romans 8: 38-39… For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present not things to come, not height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord… Rest assured that this is a truthful and faithful saying and we can trust in Jesus for He is on the Throne of Righteousness and he has our back and in Him we have Victory...

EVENING:

The Good News is…  Jesus’ Triumphant Resurrection to Life-Everlasting. And as the Angels declared…

 Luke 2:10

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. Luke 2:9-11 (in Context) Luke 2 (Whole Chapter)

This announcement made 2015 years ago is still breaking-news to many… why? Because so many have never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  So the question asked today, if Jesus was to return today what would you tell Him about the ‘Talent’ He gave you, did you put it to good use? And what would you say to someone that said… lead me to Jesus Christ. (Are you ready to lead?)

John 3 16 a Bible verse that we first learned in Sundays school, this tells the whole story of God and His love for us and Jesus’ Redemption

John 3:16-17 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

Is our ‘calling-out’ to our Lord a call for Grace or a call for wealth?

Mark 10:47-48 King James Version (KJV)

47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.

48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.

Conclusion: Our calls to our Lord should be made known to Him. Knowing that our Lord knows what we have need of before we ask, but He does want us to make our request known to Him….

Philippians 4: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Let us focus on the following principles...

One: That our Lord is the same and HE never changes, His message is the same, “You must be born again”…. John 3: 7 as He said…You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ (These are the Words of Jesus)

Two: That when we come to the Cross and receives Jesus, we need to know that it is by HIS GRACE that we are saved… Ephesians 2: 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—… The Key word here is FAITH, and the 2nd is the Gift of God…

Three: To accept Jesus...First we have to come to Jesus and in Faith

Pray... Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I believe and accept that You died for my sins, and by Your Blood that was shed at Calvary, I am Saved by Your Grace. Lord Jesus let Your Holy Spirit come into my heart and change me and by Your Divine Resurrection You are The Sovereign God, I receive You Lord Jesus as my Savior and Lord, I accept Your Priceless Gift of Salvation and trusting You Lord Jesus, and know that it is only by Your Grace that I am saved, I pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus as my Redeemer... Amen.

We thank you for coming to our Lord and Savior, who is our Redeemer.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we thank You for this Privilege of bringing Your Good News and Lord bless our Visitors and be with us as we go in Faith. Lord let Your providence be upon us all as we give You thanks and in You we have Victory, we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… amen.

Devotionals for Sunday August 23, 2015

Morning:

Focus: Victory is from the Love of Christ for us… and to know Him is to love Him and have His assurance to Triumph in Christ 2 Corinthians 2:14

Text: He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:32 NKJV

Our Victory is eternal because it is born of God.  For it is by the love of God that we keep His commandments

1 John 5:3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

Let us be aware that God said… He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

1 John 4:4 New King James Version (NKJV)

4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

What a privilege that we have from God the Father who purchased us by the Blood of Christ, and gave us the privilege to be a living temple for Him.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 New King James Version (NKJV)

19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body[a] and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Let brotherly love prevail, look to God for His Divine direction as He made you privileged to help others. Remember those in need.

1 John 3:17-18 New King James Version (NKJV)

17 But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

It is by the Grace of our Lord Jesus that we are able to receive His forgiveness…

Ephesians 1:7 New King James Version (NKJV)

7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Ephesians 1:7 New King James Version (NKJV)

7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Ephesians 2:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Seek a closer walk with Jesus… God loves you the way you are but he wants to make you more like His Son Jesus….

Proverbs 1:7 New King James Version (NKJV)

7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,

But fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 9:10

If you know Him you will Love Him, to love His is to adore him and to adore Him is to be His friend as Jesus said, “you are no longer servants but friends”

Proverbs 9:10 New King James Version (NKJV)

10 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,

And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Make this a day of Victory knowing that the Faithfulness of our lord and Savior endowed these assurances… Read and believe that these are told to us to know and be steadfast.

Ephesians 3:20 New King James Version (NKJV)

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

Romans 5:8

Romans 5:8 New King James Version (NKJV)

8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Philippians 4:6 New King James Version (NKJV)

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

Devotionals for Saturday August 22, 2015

Morning:

Focus: Forgiving others… Let us do what the Lord said, set aside all malice, pride and grudge. Just do it…

First let us realize that the greatest forgiveness of all time is from our Lord, because he forgave us once for all.  He does not keep score. His Forgiveness is not judicial nor is it given because we deserve His forgiveness.

Forgiveness has to be founded on the core principle of love. And if there is no love but you are granting your ‘forgiveness’ then why do you do it? Is it because the person being forgiven could be of use for service to you? Or is it true ‘brotherly-love’.

Christ forgave us but His forgiveness is an unconditional pardon.  But to be pardoned one must first be a recipient with a sincere heart, not a heart with some deceit or tied to any ulterior motives.

Is it because you may go to hell is you do not accept the Lord, or is it because you love the Lord and want to have a closer walk with Him?  God loves you the way you are, but he wants to lead you and make you more like Jesus.

To be forgiven is an absolute, to be granted a ‘forbearance’ it is a temporary. It is like receiving a gift that had a Tag that says… This is given because I love you and I hope that you will enjoy is forever… versus a ‘Gift’ that bears a tag that reads…’here is something that you may find useful, use it till I need it back’

So giving your Unconditional-Forgiveness is the ultimate gift because it is founded on love.

Devotionals for Friday August 21, 2015

Morning:

Focus: Forgiving others… Let us do what the Lord said, set aside all malice, pride and grudge. Just do it…

Are we there yet? The Israelites lacked faith, but inspite of this the Lord led them out of Egypt, through the Red Sea.

Text:  Exodus 14: 15-16 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. 16 Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.

Commentary:

Today we are reviewing the crossing of the Red Sea, and providing ‘Proof-Positive’ of this even. TO SEE THE PICTURES GO TO “BIBLE FACTS” PAGE. (CLICK ON THE TAB ABOVE)

CHARIOTS IN RED SEA: 'IRREFUTABLE EVIDENCE'

'Horse and human remains strewn like battlefield wreckage'

Coral-encrusted object in Red Sea could be ancient Egyptian chariot wheels

A news report that stunned the world nine years ago about the discovery of possible ancient chariot wheels at the bottom of the Red Sea is suddenly gaining fresh attention with new video claiming “irrefutable evidence” that corroborates the find.

In June 2003, WND interviewed Bible enthusiasts who dove the waters of the Red Sea, alleging they found and photographed parts of chariots that may be the actual remains of the catastrophe brought upon the Egyptian army which pursued the Israelites, according to the Book of Exodus in the Bible.

Is this the actual golden chariot wheel of the Egyptian pharaoh who chased the ancient
Israelites into the Red Sea, only to be drowned by God?

“Because coral does not attach to gold or silver, this priceless specimen remains untarnished by time,” he said, calling it “strong evidence that this is actually one of the two chariot wheels that the pharaoh rode to his death.”

Pillars that may commemorate the Red Sea crossing by the ancient Israelites have been discovered in recent years on both sides of the Gulf of Aqaba arm of the Red Sea.

“The wind did not separate the water,” he said. “No person could be in that wind and survive. … If God has created all the Earth, it’s no problem for Him to separate the water for a while.”

“Here on the bottom of the [reed sea] rests the evidence that the Creator has acted on behalf of His people in the past, proof that you can count on His promise that in the last days, He will perform a miracle that will make the parting of the red sea pale by comparison.”

His Promise:

Exodus 14; 9-28

The Egyptians—all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots, horsemen and troops—pursued the Israelites and overtook them as they camped by the sea near Pi Hahiroth, opposite Baal Zephon.

10 As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord11 They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt? 12 Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!”

13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. 16 Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground. 17 I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them. And I will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen. 18 The Egyptians will know that I am the Lord when I gain glory through Pharaoh, his chariots and his horsemen.”

19 Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel’s army, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them, 20 coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other side; so neither went near the other all night long.

21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, 22 and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.

Conclusion:

23 The Egyptians pursued them, and all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots and horsemen followed them into the sea. 24 During the last watch of the night the Lord looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion. 25 He jammed the wheels of their chariots so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, “Let’s get away from the Israelites! The Lord is fighting for them against Egypt.”

26 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the waters may flow back over the Egyptians and their chariots and horsemen.” 27 Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea went back to its place. The Egyptians were fleeing toward it, and the Lord swept them into the sea. 28 The water flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen—the entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the Israelites into the sea. Not one of them survived.

His Faithfulness:

Just like what the Lord did for the Israelites fleeing Pharaoh, He can do this for us today, as we stand against a greater threat than Pharaoh, the evil one is on the prowl.  So let us come to Jesus today knowing that we can call on His name and we shall be saved.

God sent His Son to bridge the gap. Christ did this by paying the penalty of our sins when He died on the Cross and Rose from the grave.

The Bible says… “But God demonstrated His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5: 8

Jesus the giver of Life – everlasting, remember that a ‘Free’ Gift had to be bought by the giver, and Jesus bought His Priceless Gift with His Life by dying for us, and His Payment was Redeemed by the Father as He Rose from death. His Resurrection is a Witness of what He has endowed for those in Jesus who shall also share in His Glory through His Divine Redemption.

Yes we can receive His ‘Priceless-Gift’ right now and be made a Joint-Heir in Christ our Savior.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus our Redeemer we come to You as You intercedes for us to the Father, Lord Take charge of the affairs of this nation as we seek your Divine guidance to have a pathway to safety in You Lord. Lord bless this day and our Visitors as we reach many in Your Name Lord for Your Glory. Bless each and every one that Your Peace will be upon us all. Lord in You we have Victory and in You we are made Joint-Heirs to Your Kingdom. Lord we pray in Your Holy name and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Remember:  Our Lord’s will for us today is: Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Special request:  Please refer a friend to visit this site. You will be helping to spread the Good News of our Lord and the angels will celebrate with joy for every sinner that comes to our Lord Jesus…. Praise God that you have this privilege today. God Bless you.

Devotionals for Thursday August 20, 2015

Morning:

Focus:  Today is ‘National Lemonade Day” the list of ‘National days’ are frivolous such as a National ‘Dog’ Day.  How about a God’s Day? A day that everyone will experience, it is known as the Day of The Lord.

Thanks be to God for Christmas day… The cynic that composed the list of ‘National days’ even had a National-Lazy day, one could guess if you are ‘lazy’ then you do not need a special day as every day is a day to be lazy.

Lazy is from Middle Low German lasich feeble; akin to Middle High German erleswen to become weak

First Known Use: 1549

Of the quotations regarding Laziness from the Bible this is the most relevant…

Proverbs 12:24

The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labor. In Context | Full Chapter

How true is the saying of the Proverbs about laziness… the welfare mentality, with the government issuing record high food stamps, free cell phones and other ‘entitlements’ many who are not eligible are beneficiaries of these ‘freebies’, but there is a legitimate need for a helping hand, but the abuse by the lazy ones are not just taking from those in need, but taking from the tax-payers and causing out of control budget.

On the other hand the Proverbs said, those that are lazy will be put to forced labor and this is in reality a form of enslavement, and enslavement to a constant life of poverty or if one is rich and abusing the system, maybe if he was to quit taking from the needy he could be richer and be fulfilled knowing he is without guilt because his wealth is from a wholesome source.

‘Vegas cabbie turns in $300,000 found in back seat’ a headline like this is rarely seen. The Cab driver was awarded Cabbie of the year, and donated part of his $10,000 rewards to his church. The owner of the money was a professional poker-gambler, and as we all know he is not the owner of the money for too-long. The winner here is the Cab driver because of his honest.  So we see the ‘enslavement’ on a higher level because the gambler is addicted to a life of uncertainty, or in fact a life of gambling which is a dead-end mission.

So today we reflect on Jesus’ commission for each us…

Acts 13: 47 for so the Lord has commanded us:

‘I have set you as a light to the Gentiles,
That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’

TEXT:  John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. In Context | Full Chapter |

Devotionals for Wednesday August 19, 2015

Morning:

Focus:    Scientists at the University of East Anglia made their best estimate of how long Earth will be habitable for human life, barring nuclear war, rogue asteroids, or being destroyed to make room for a hyperspace bypass. Do we really know? And does it matter?

What does it matter if the Sun will expire?  The sun is now in the middle of its life cycle, and will explode in about 4-5 billion years. In the few hundred million years before the explosion, it will swell up and become a red giant as big as the Earth's orbit. It will therefore swallow the Earth.

We don’t have to worry about the Sun expiring, we should be thinking about the things we cannot scientifically peg to science, why? Because our God is Super-Natural and He is Supreme and Sovereign.

Matthew 24:29–30 (Jesus said this, and His word will never pass, it is to be taken as His Divine Promise)

The Coming of the Son of Man

29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

So what’s the Good News today? 4.5 years a long way off and we don’t have to worry, the good-news is that we have a Savior who is Christ Jesus who holds it all together.  And the best news, He is coming and it is written…

1 Thessalonians 4:17

Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. In Context | Full Chapter

So why are we writing about the coming days and not about today?  Yes today we address our immediate challenges and why are we not talking about our needs and our quest for prosperity? Jesus already addressed this as He said when you pray… do this; The Model Prayer.

Matthew 6:

“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

“Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore,

 Pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

The Words of Jesus… Luke 17:21 Good News Translation (GNT)

The Coming of the Kingdom

20 Some Pharisees asked Jesus when the Kingdom of God would come. His answer was, “The Kingdom of God does not come in such a way as to be seen. 21 No one will say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ because the Kingdom of God is within you.”

22 Then he said to the disciples, “The time will come when you will wish you could see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it. 23 There will be those who will say to you, ‘Look, over there!’ or, ‘Look, over here!’ But don't go out looking for it.24 As the lightning flashes across the sky and lights it up from one side to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day. 25 But first he must suffer much and be rejected by the people of this day. 26 As it was in the time of Noah so shall it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 Everybody kept on eating and drinking, and men and women married, up to the very day Noah went into the boat and the flood came and killed them all.

28 It will be as it was in the time of Lot. Everybody kept on eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29 On the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and killed them all.

30 That is how it will be on the day the Son of Man is revealed.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus thank You for Your coming return as we look to that day Lord when we shall see You as you are and Lord we bring our Visitors to You and seek your Divine blessings on us all. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday August 18, 2015

Morning:

Focus:   God has not withdrawn His Grace from you, you are to meet Him in the ‘Inner-Chamber’ of His abode in you by His spirit in you.

God will never withdraw His Grace from you, because He said I will never leave you nor forsake you. Remember when Job’s wife said...”Why don’t you curse the Lord and die”? At that point in the life of Job he had lost his children, his estate, Cattles and everything and was suffering with boils all over his body, yet Job remained faithful to the Lord and said...” For I know my Redeemer Lives”! His faithfulness was seen by the Lord and all his children and wealth was restored. But beyond this Job knew that His Redeemer Lives and that He was redeemed for the Best to come.

As we refer to Job, we too must know that…”The Best is Yet to come” no matter what you are experiencing today, please know that the Grace of the Lord will never be taken away unless you do what Job’s wife said… There is a sin that leads to death and that is to blaspheme against the Lord.

Mark 3:29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.”

Devotionals for Monday August 17, 2015

Morning:

Focus:    Walk by Faith and not by ‘Feelings” – Your mood may have been tampered with, remember Jesus said, “I am with you always”

TEXT:   Hebrews 11:1New International Version (NIV) Faith in Action

11 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Commentary:

We wrote about the story of the son that was asked by his dad, “Son what would you like for your graduation?” he replied, I liked the car I have seen in the dealer’s showroom, came graduation day and he came home to find a Bible with a ribbon, he reacted by walking out and leaving home. Several years later he was called home as his Dad was gravely ill, he arrived home too late. Later in the afternoon he wondered into his old bedroom and (everything was still intact just as the day he left home) he saw the Bible, picked it up and opened it, inside was a card and a gift certificate to the car that he had chosen.  This is a tragic story for a young man that missed the love of his father.

Many like this young man are doing the same to our Heavenly Father, as His “Gift” is in Jesus His Son that we often take for granted…  The analogy of the above, is; Jesus came so that we may have life and more abundantly, but many do not believe His saying and are walking by their ‘own-feeling’ with no ‘abundance’ He said and to have a ‘More’ abundant life, meaning He is giving us a double portion. Accept Him in faith and be a ‘Joint-Heir’ through Him to His Kingdom.

So we suggest walking by faith and not by our ‘feelings’… many of us are guilty of walking by our feelings... and have lost out on that loving relationship because of adopting a pre-conceived assumption that is directly opposite to what should have been.

We are to walk in faith and trust Him… and know that the Church is founded on one foundation and that is Jesus Christ our Lord, also there will be no Catholic, Presbyterians, Methodist, Jehovah Witnesses, Adventist, etc., in heaven as only those that Jesus said are ‘Born-Again’ because unless it is by the Blood of Christ our Redeemer.

Yes there will be Moses, Elijah. And those ordained by God, and there will be neither Jews nor Gentiles but all will be a ‘New-Creation” in His Holy Presence.

Let us adopt what was said by God…”Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, and I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.  Isaiah 41: 10 NKJV

Devotionals for Sunday August 16, 2015

Morning:

Focus:    All the Bonus Points, No block-out dates, No expiration, His Rewards system only requires your loyalty, to be a good listener & to follow Him

In the world of commerce deceptive advertising is rampant, an automobile advertised as the “internet price” of $18,500 will cost you $23,000 when you attempt to purchase the vehicle.  The Reward points on your credit card is not what you think.  Yet there are a few reputable reward systems that are redeemable just as your statement reflects.

One sure thing that we have and that is the WORD of God… and these are His Gifts and his eternal promise:

Because…  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.  John 1: 1, 14

And we know that… For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, and the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all.  1 Timothy 2: 5-6

Today as a day of worship, let us celebrate His power and His greatness, because… You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.  1 John 4: 4

Yes our Lord Jesus Christ is greater that he (the devil) who is in the world.  So let us arm ourselves with Victory in Christ Jesus as we say… Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge every place. 2 Corinthians 2: 14

TEXT:   John 14:26New International Version (NIV)

26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

So do not worry about redeeming the Bonus points from your rewards. Because in Jesus we have …

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

Ephesians 1:7New International Version (NIV)

Devotionals for Saturday August 15, 2015

Morning:

Focus:       Wise Men still seek Him…Jesus surrounded Himself with many Wise men that found Peace with God…

TEXT:

John 3:1-3New International Version (NIV)

Jesus Teaches Nicodemus

3 Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.”

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.

Matthew 27:57

[The Burial of Jesus] As evening approached, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who had himself become a disciple of Jesus.

In Context | Full Chapter

Both Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea sought Jesus and became followers of Jesus. Back 1,982 years ago when Christ walked this earth, men like Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea who were Jewish leaders in the hierarchy of the Jewish Parliament, both were wealthy community leaders.   Nicodemus was an opposition member to Joseph in the parliament, yet both were wise enough to find the Messiah.

His Faithfulness:

Matthew 10:32

[Confess Christ Before Men] “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess (You) before My Father who is in heaven. In Context | Full Chapter

The Bible stated that both Nicodemus and Joseph came together and prepared the body of Jesus after the Crucifixion for burial and Jesus was laid in a tomb never used and owned by one of these men.

So se see Matthew 10:30 where Jesus said is we confess Him before men, he would confess us before His Father in heaven. And he certainly did of Nicodemus and Joseph.

Action:

Just as how Nicodemus said, “Rabbi we know that you are a teacher sent from God”… even so today many Wise-men still seek Jesus.

Just like my Son-in-law’s father who said…”I will see you again” and I said sure I will be back tomorrow, and he said not tomorrow, I will see you in heaven as I bought insurance…”I accepted the Lord Jesus as my Savior”, what a statement coming from a dying Jewish man, It is with joy that I can quote Irwin my friend whom I will see again by the Grace of our Lord Jesus.

EVENING:

Coming to our Lord:

Philippians 2:7-11New International Version (NIV)

7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature[a] of a servant, being made in human likeness.

8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!

9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2: 7 above is a post Crucifixion narrative describing Jesus sacrifice of bearing our sins… This event was foretold by Isaiah over 700 years before Christ came as God Emmanuel on that first Christmas day.

Conclusion:

Jesus is calling (you and us)

Revelation 3:20 New International Version (NIV)

20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

If you prayed this prayer you are now able to say…

20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.  Galatians 2:20 New International Version (NIV)

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and savior we gather in Your Holy presence.  Lord Jesus because You holds all things together and on that day Lord when we shall see you and Lord there will be a grand reunion in Your Holy Presence as Your Grace abounds in the lives of all those who sought You Lord; and Your faithfulness in receiving each one as You did to Nicodemus and Joseph.  We Praise You and give You our all and we present our Visitors who are also seeking You Lord, so grant us all Your Divine Blessings as we go in faith knowing that on that day we shall see You Lord Jesus, to You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday August 14, 2015

Morning:

Focus:  Jesus holds all things together

TEXT:   Colossians 1:17

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

In Context | Full Chapter |

Commentary:  Do we have something to ‘mend’ today? The brand best known to glue up a broken dish would be ‘Super-Glue’ and also known as Crazy-Glue, this adhesive glues anything together including the skin on our fingers. But there is a super-glue remover that dissolves this amazing adhesive. The caption today is ‘Jesus holds all things together’ as said in the Bible.

In Colossians 1: 17: He (Jesus) was before all things, and in Him all things hold together… (End of text)

What Jesus holds together it is held forever until He determines when it should be undone. There is a time when Earth and the Heavens will be ‘Shaken’ and laid ‘Bare’ because it is the will of God on the day that is to be known as “the Day of the Lord”

Our lives are all broken in the eyes of God, because we are sinners, regardless of your situation, you may be an executive of a Fortune 500 company, or even the President of a county, no matter who you are even the pastor of the largest congregation we are all sinners. As sinners we all need Christ to glue us back together.

Through His Crucifixion and Resurrection Jesus made this possible. His Blood of Atonement will be the Seal that each of us will receive when we accept His Grace.  What is Grace? Grace is a Pardon for our sin.  It is like a pardon for a crime, but the law of justice does not pardon a criminal that will not admit his crime. The same applies to Jesus’ Pardon for our sins.

Unless we come to our Lord with a Contrite (Contrite is defined as..feeling or showing sorrow and remorse for a sin or shortcoming  One can make an apology in a statement but he really doesn’t mean it. This is unacceptable to our Lord. No we are not speaking for our Lord, The Bible said only with a contrite heart that he will hear us and forgive us.

Because He is God and even our thoughts are known to Him, so we cannot fake it, we cannot pretend; and we cannot receive His Salvation falsely.  He is willing to hear us, and the Bible had two example of prayers, one from a ‘Religious’ person that was praying, “Dear God, I am not like that other man who is a tax-collector that is a cheat”, and the Tax-Collector was simply saying, “Dear God please forgive me for I am a Sinner” Jesus himself said the latter prayer was heard and the person that did not exalt himself was blessed and heard by His Father.

Principle:  There no other Name given by which we can be saved… In Christ alone is Salvation and in Him we have Life-Everlasting.

His Faithfulness:

Matthew 10:32

Devotionals for Thursday August 13, 2015

Morning:

Focus:  Life’s journey and why are we here? This is a Sojourn meaning it is just a stop-over, move to the correct line leading to His Kingdom

Life’s journey… so where are you going today?  Is it to Work, school, or shopping? Or just staying home? Even not going anywhere we are still sojourning to our final resting place.

Text: John 14: 4 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Romans 15:13-16 (NASB)

13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

14 And concerning you, my brethren, I myself also am convinced that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge and able also to admonish one another.

15 But I have written very boldly to you on some points so as to remind you again, because of the grace that was given me from God,

16 to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, ministering as a priest the gospel of God, so that my offering of the Gentiles may become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

Commentary:  Time is something that we can never regain, yesterday is gone, today in now and tomorrow is something we don’t have until it arrives. To Sojourn is to be travelling on a temporary basis. Our life through this world is a temporary sojourn.  Because we are in transit with the ultimate switch to a destination that is unknown.

Today as we sojourn let us enjoy the journey, yes this journey can be very enjoyable, regardless of what life throws at you; we believers have nothing to fear.   When we live by the precepts of our Lord… as Jesus said: Do Not Worry

Matthew 6: 25-34 (Jesus was speaking)

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Principle:  Your Faith is your asset, use it to expand His Kingdom, because our Lord has endowed an immense supply of His Grace when you know Jesus.

EVENING:

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Luke 22: 26-27    26 But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves. 27 For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.

Trust the Lord in Faith that He will provide all you need in Serving Him

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Galatians 5: 13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Conclusion: As we journey today through this world, even when standing still going nowhere, the sand of time is slipping away…

The Bible is full of Jesus’ promise of His love for use, and beyond His love He gave His life for us and by His Resurrection He conquered death so that though His Blood we are cleansed and are now Sanctified by His Grace, and His Grace will keep us till that day when we shall be Transformed in a place of Splendor where sin do not exist because of His Holy Presence and His Radiance will spread the Joy of His Holiness.

To be ‘Pardoned’ one must admit guilt with remorse, or being pardoned because you did not commit the crime in the first place. Now if one is ‘falsely’ accused and convicted then they deserve to be granted a pardon. But the guilty person that really committed the offence is really not pardoned in a court of law, his sentence is commuted or set-aside, but in the eyes of the law he is still an offender.

In Christ we have a ‘Full-Pardon’ not a set-aside’ of our offences, because Jesus said, our Sins are forgiven and are removed like the East from the West meaning, it is ‘Forgotten’ Why should we forget our sin? Because Jesus forgets them after we come to Him.

The devil wants us to remember them and imprints in our mind the temptation that lurks in the background, in the ‘Background’ we should only retain the knowledge that “I am now a Child of God’ and I am now ‘Elevated’ above the things that give temporary fulfillment, as I now have the everlasting JOY in Jesus my Redeemer, because He prepared the ultimate place that I am on my journey at this very moment….knowing that He is the Author and Finisher of my Faith, and that I shall see Him as he is as Jesus who was before Abraham is still the same yesterday, today as He has prepared a place for me… Apply this in your life and have Victory in Jesus our Risen Lord who Reigns Supreme and He is Eternal and He is Faithful.

John 18:36

New International Version (NIV)

36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus as end the day be with us all, Lord as we look to a new day let it be filled with Your Holy Spirit Lord. Lord we thank You for Your Grace, and Your Redemption. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we seek Your Divine blessings on each of our Visitors. Lord let Your favor be granted because all good things are from you Lord. Lord we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday August 12, 2015

Morning:

Focus:  Are you aware of your guardian angel? Do you have one? How may I gain or give access to one?

First we need to know that God is Patient, He is the Almighty, He is always present and He loves you.

Love is wrapped up in caring and caring is wrapped up in protecting. All of our love and care for the one you love causes one to be jealous when the one you love strays.  This also applies to our Lord as He is a jealous God, because His love for you and He wants to protects you.

Therefore the consequence of sin is a result of God’s love, and this is why He stands ready to forgive you and His love and care will be restored. Because God created man and woman free of sin and gave then ‘Free-will’ but he warned against breaking His command which was done by Adam and Eve.  As a result of us being offspring’s of Adam we are all born with that blemish of Sin…

God sent His Son Jesus to die for our sin, and why was this necessary, because without the shedding of Blood there is no forgiveness of sin. But the Sacrifice of Jesus was not a ceremonial act, it was Divinely ordained by God. The event known as the Passover required the Blood of a lamb to be placed on the doors of the Israelite when the angel of death would pass over Egypt, and all who did were saved. The second and final ‘Passover’ will be the Day of the Lord.

So the Blood of Christ is that ‘Seal’ that will protect us when that final Passover is made.  Knowing that God provided a way for us to escape the death of sin, we are privileged to have our Savior… Jesus.  We also need to acknowledge that Jesus is from God, as he is the Image of the invisible God as no one has ever seen God (Except Jesus) as He is One in the God the Father.

TEXT:  John 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Psalm 91:11

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; In Context | Full Chapter |

The Supremacy of Christ:

Colossians 1: The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

John 1: John testified to the Glory of Christ our Redeemer

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Yes Jesus was here from the beginning of it all… Genesis 1New International Version (NIV)

The Beginning

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Jesus the Light of the World as said above.  And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light… For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Devotionals for Tuesday August 11, 2015

Morning:

Focus:  How do I know God is hearing me? Without faith you cannot reach Him, nor please Him… He said cast your burden on Him.

What is your burden? How can you achieve Peace?  If you have read the Bible and covered the events from the birth of Samuel through to 1 King, the lives of those whom God made Kings were all the anointed by God’s chosen men.  But before we review the good times and the not so good times of King Saul, David and then Solomon we need to visit the faithfulness of people like Ruth and Hannah.

It all started with the greatest ‘Love-story’ of all times… Ruth and Boaz that fulfilled the linage of Jesus through David fathered by Obed the son of Ruth and the father of Jesse the father of David, the shepherd boy who would be king...

From the faithful prayer of Hannah the mother of Samuel the ‘King-maker’ appointed by God, Saul was anointed king, and we read how God can also do a ‘recall’ when he removed His blessing from Saul and gave it to David.  These events are not just for us to read about the monarchy of Israel but intended to be life’s lessons to us even as we all live today in the year 2015.

We will do a short Recap of the events:

  • The Faithfulness of Hannah, her dedication of Samuel whom she loaned to the Lord.
  • God’s Power given to Samuel making Samuel His messenger to be a ‘king-maker’
  • The travesties of those in power, from Saul to David and to Solomon, yet God’s mission were accomplished.

The over-riding theme in the events are the Judgment of God, but not just Judgment but God’s Faithfulness and proof that God does hear the prayers from an earnest person. Just as how He granted Hannah’s desire to bear a child and the promise made by Hannah that the child would serve Him.

TEXT:   1 Samuel 10 In her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the Lord, weeping bitterly. 11 And she made a vow, saying, “Lord Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.”

Ruth 4:13-17 New International Version (NIV)

Naomi Gains a Son

13 So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife. When he made love to her, the Lord enabled her to conceive, and she gave birth to a son. 14 The women said to Naomi: “Praise be to the Lord, who this day has not left you without a guardian-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel! 15 He will renew your life and sustain you in your old age. For your daughter-in-law, who loves you and who is better to you than seven sons, has given him birth.”

16 Then Naomi took the child in her arms and cared for him. 17 The women living there said, “Naomi has a son!” And they named him Obed. He was the father of Jesse, the father of David.

Action:

EVENING:

Coming to our Lord:

We asked what is you burden… We can take a look back and see the events of the monarchy of Saul, David and Solomon.  While they were extremely blessed by God, yet as men they all faltered… and we can only say the Faithfulness of our Lord is all that we can rely on, as He said; Hebrews 10: 14  For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.

15 The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says:

16 “This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord.
I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.”[b]

17 Then he adds:

“Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”

18 And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.

Conclusion:

Today we shall all make that pledge to…

  • Do not Trample on the Son of God
  • Refrain from Insulting the Spirit of Grace
  • Praise our Lord Jesus for His Divine Redemption

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

The Words of Jesus…

2 Corinthians 6:16

What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:  “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”

Luke 17:21 Good News Translation (GNT)

21 No one will say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ because the Kingdom of God is within you.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come… Lord Jesus we thank you for this privilege of coming into Your Holy Presence.  We thank You Lord for your Graciousness and we commit all in Your Holy Name as we ask Your blessings on our Visitors and grant us all Your Favor as we go in Faith.  We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday August 10, 2015

Morning:

Focus:  Your life is an open book, not just on the Internet, but seen by the real master of Intelligence. Beware you are being watched…

Your Smart TV may be recording your activities, your Xbox and most voice-activated devices record what it picks up.

Today as we are made aware of our lives being an ‘open-book’ let us do as what was written to the Jewish Christians revealing the absolute supremacy and sufficiency of Jesus Christ as the Mediator of God’s Grace…

Hebrews 12:1-3New King James Version (NKJV)

The Race of Faith

12 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 10: 14  For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.

(So having being saved continue to draw near to God… seek the Lord Jesus)

22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Let us also take notice as written in Hebrews 10: 26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the Law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

From the text above, these are what we do when we sin…

  • Trample on the Son of God
  • Insulting the Spirit of Grace

The saying of the Lord… TEXT:  Romans 14:11 For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.”

The author of Hebrews said… Hebrews 10: 36   You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. 37 For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.”

38 And, “But my righteous one will live by faith.   And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”

39 But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.

EVENING:

Coming to our Lord:

Psalm 51[a]

For the director of music. A psalm of David. When the prophet Nathan came to him after David had committed adultery with Bathsheba.

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.
Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight;
so you are right in your verdict and justified when you judge.
Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place.

Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity.

10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,

Praise our Lord for His Faithfulness and by His Covenant, He said…“Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”

18 And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary. Hebrews 10: 17-17

Conclusion:

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and savior we come… Lord Jesus thank You as we are privileged to be presented by You Jesus Messiah… We Praise You and we seek You and we thank You for Your Divine Redemption, Lord preserve us and Lord let this mission continue to reach many for Your Glory as we present our Visitors and ask Your Blessings on each as we go in Faith. Devotionals for Sunday August 9, 2015

Morning:

Focus:  Try going fishing without your rod & reel, going to church without your Bible is like going hunting without your own weapon.

While it is still possible to catch a fish without a Pole, but shooting is more precise and having a weapon that you are familiar with will make hitting your mark easier.  So going with your Bible where you have marked all your notations and references will be like using a weapon that you are familiar with.

Today we have Bible Aps, Online Bibles and smartphones that can search the scriptures, but having your trusty-Bible that will refresh your memory is more like that ‘comfortable-grip’ on your weapon of choice.

As we fight that ‘Constant-battle’ the Word of God is still the most powerful weapon against the wiles of the evil one.

TEXT:  6: 10-18   10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

EVENING:

Victory in Christ...

His Faithfulness:  1 Corinthians 15:57Good News Translation (GNT)

57 But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

2 King 7: 2 Kings 7Good News Translation (GNT)

Elisha answered, “Listen to what the Lord says! By this time tomorrow you will be able to buy in Samaria ten pounds of the best wheat or twenty pounds of barley for one piece of silver.”

The personal attendant of the king said to Elisha, “That can't happen—not even if the Lord himself were to send grain[a] at once!”

“You will see it happen, but you won't get to eat any of the food,” Elisha replied.

The Syrian Army Leaves

Four men who were suffering from a dreaded skin disease were outside the gates of Samaria, and they said to each other, “Why should we wait here until we die?  no use going into the city, because we would starve to death in there; but if we stay here, we'll die also. So let's go to the Syrian camp; the worst they can do is kill us, but maybe they will spare our lives.” So, as it began to get dark, they went to the Syrian camp, but when they reached it, no one was there.

The Lord had made the Syrians hear what sounded like the advance of a large army with horses and chariots, and the Syrians thought that the king of Israel had hired Hittite and Egyptian kings and their armies to attack them. So that evening the Syrians had fled for their lives, abandoning their tents, horses, and donkeys, and leaving the camp just as it was.

It should be noted that the king’s attendant that doubted Elisha when Elisha said…“You will see it happen, but you won't get to eat any of the food.” 20 And that is just what happened to him—he died, trampled to death by the people at the city gate.

The power of the Lord should never be under-estimated, and what He did for Elisha, recorded in BC 550 (before the birth of Christ).  We like to clarify that BC refers to Christ’s birth, and we consider what is said about Christ in

Colossians 1: 15- 20 The Person and Work of Christ

15 Christ is the visible likeness of the invisible God. He is the first-born Son, superior to all created things. 16 For through him God created everything in heaven and on earth, the seen and the unseen things, including spiritual powers, lords, rulers, and authorities. God created the whole universe through him and for him. 17 Christ existed before all things, and in union with him all things have their proper place. 18 He is the head of his body, the church; he is the source of the body's life. He is the first-born Son, who was raised from death, in order that he alone might have the first place in all things. 19 For it was by God's own decision that the Son has in himself the full nature of God.20 Through the Son, then, God decided to bring the whole universe back to himself. God made peace through his Son's blood[c] on the cross and so brought back to himself all things, both on earth and in heaven.

Conclusion:

Coming to our Lord:

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come…Lord Jesus today as many are gathered in your houses of worship, we are privileged to share Your Good News and to present You Lord as we affirm Your existence before all things and that You our Messiah is the same yesterday and forever.  We thank You for the privilege of bringing You our Visitors and we seek Your Divine blessings upon all. Devotionals for Saturday August 8, 2015

Morning:

Focus:    Who is your hero? In what way were you inspired? Would you choose to live like your hero? Being famous with a legacy because of fame and fortune, but still their achievements were not theirs?

We can reflect on many iconic individuals during our lifetime and say…”what a life that person had” or look at so and so  how he amassed fame and fortune, or someone who served the Lord and his fellowmen by his dedication to Christ.

It may be well-known that Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler invented the first automobile, and it is also well-known that Henry Ford first mass produced automobile using an assembly line.

But the inventor of the first Computer is rarely known and he was Charles Babbage in 1822.  We all are mostly familiar with Watson as the father of modern computer that formed IBM and popularly known as ‘Big-Blue’.

Inventions outlast the inventors.  But a well-known terminology used today as the Ponzi-Scheme or to be correct it is also known as the Ponzi-Scam, A scheme created Ponzi in 1918 and ended in 1920 by his arrest.   This leads us to one of the other famous person or rather in-famous Bernard Madoff who orchestrated the largest Ponzi-Scam as high as $65 Billion U.S. Dollars, known as the ‘scam of the century’. Madoff was sentenced to 150 years which is a life sentence to a person of 71 years old.

So much for those who gave us Cars, computers and not to forget the Wright Brothers who gave us Airplanes, Alex Flemming for Penicillin leading to antibiotics.   The Internet could be referred to as one of the top ten inventions of the century.

But of all these inventions, man really did not ‘invent’ anything, they just ‘discovered’ the formulation that was always there as the Creator created it all.

So we give all the Credits to our Creator as it is by His design that we have these ‘Invention’ but nothing has been invented. As we once said, God said start with your own material…”do not use Air, Water, Minerals, Gas, earth or any of what ‘I” have made”.   Without these elements we cannot even create Zilch.  Because He said without me you can do nothing.

Devotionals for Friday August 7, 2015

Morning:

Focus:   Nothing lasts forever, even bad leaders, and the good ones too… Retirement is a resignation, so do not resign continue to serve…

Whom do you serve? Are you serving as a Steward, a Trustee, a beneficiary or a benefactor? We all serve in these as each of us are a beneficiary.  But being a beneficiary we must also be a benefactor as a faithful steward fulfilling the role as trustee to be able to share the Gift that Christ endowed to us all.

Nothing lasts forever, but the ‘Priceless-Gift’ of God’s Salvation will be forever.  Grace is defined as: mercy, charity, clemency, grace, leniency, so we see that Grace is in actuality a ‘Window of opportunity’ as we once said… the notice reads; your insurance policy lapsed, but you have a ten day ‘grace’ period to pay it to continue coverage.

No one likes to be a ‘charitable-case’ but we are mere humans, and Jesus said…”Without Me you can do NOTHING” therefore in the sight of the Lord it is by His mercy that we can receive clemency, because he is lenient not in just Words, but by His Sacrifice at Calvary that his Blood was shed for us fulfilling His Redemption.

Remember, if someone comes to your door and offer you a gift of a gold-nugget and you refused it, then you just missed receiving that precious gift. Jesus offers His Redemption which is far greater than the gold-nugget, and it will last forever, no one can steal it or take it away it is yours forever.

TEXT:  John 10:27-29New King James Version (NKJV)

27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

EVENING:

So being a beneficiary to His Kingdom we are mandated to ‘share’ it with others…

Action:

Mark 16:14-16 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Great Commission

14 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen

15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

2 Corinthians 2:14-16 New King James Version (NKJV)

14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 16 To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?

Conclusion:

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Father in Heaven by the Grace of our Lord Jesus we come in Your Holy Presence.  Lord Jesus we thank You for presenting us to the father as You Jesus is our Mediator and by your Righteousness we are redeemed by Your Grace. Lord we thank You for Your Divine Redemption  as we thank You for our Visitors, and we ask Your blessing on each as we go in faith spreading the fragrance of Your love and in You we have victory. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday August 6, 2015

Morning:

Focus:    In a flash things can change, some for the good and some for the not-too good.  We all need the ‘Shield’ of His Grace

James 4:14 [Full Chapter]

Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For whatis your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

My brother in Christ recently experienced his brother’s passing.  The circumstances leading to his brother’s fatal accident was a result of assisting his neighbor.  No one can change the course of life’s circumstances, this brother did not know that fateful day has arrived when he arose that morning. His neighbor asked for his help, and he extended his neighborly love that took a turn in him falling and hitting his head and subsequently passing.  As we mourn his loss, we need to be reminded that the brother knew the Lord and he was assisting his neighbor.  Sometimes we question these circumstances, but we must reflect on those who faced severe life-changing situations such as; Stephen being stoned to death, while Stephen looked up and saw Jesus, Jesus welcomed Stephen home rather than saving his from his attackers.

Therefore in instances such as our brother’s falling and suffering a fatal injury, we can say the choice of life for him was made by the Lord, and His life in in Christ. Knowing that we can affirmed what Paul said… it is better to be absent from the body and be present with the Lord…

TEXT:  2 Corinthians 5:8

We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

In Context | Full Chapter

His Faithfulness:

2 Corinthians 5 [Full Chapter]

[Awaiting the New Body] For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. ...

Action:

Today as we continue to face the challenges of this world, let us be patient as the Scriptures said… John 16:20

Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. In Context | Full Chapter

EVENING:

Coming to our Lord:

We need to be armed with the armor of God who said… Ephesians 6:10-18 [Full Chapter]

[The Whole Armor of God] Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places...

Know the above we therefore need to be armed and be empowered by His Word… 2 Corinthians 6:7

By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

In Context | Full Chapter

Principle:  we have Victory in Christ our Lord and Savior as He our Redeemer Lives!

Conclusion:

Psalm 34:7

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. In Context | Full Chapter

While the Holy Bible said… The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him.  The ‘Fear’ is not to be frightened but to know that the text is saying to ‘Love’ Him and if you love Him you will ‘Treasure’ Him…

Prayer: Heavenly father in Jesus our lord and Savior we cone… Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Grace and Lord Jesus we thank You for saying we are no long servant but friends. Lord we Treasure You and give You first place as our hope is in You and Your Faithfulness will abide with us all as we present our Visitors and ask your blessing one each one as we go in Faith knowing You will never leave us nor forsake us. Devotionals for Wednesday August 5, 2015

Morning:

Focus:  Life’s cycle and doing it my way… the old songs that point to nowhere. Let God’s way lead you to that eternal Green Pasture

Frank Sinatra was one of the most popular entertainers of the 20th century.  One of his greatest hits was; ‘I did it my way’ and his Academy Award for his acting in ‘From here to eternity’… these two intriguing captions for some of his best works leading us to today’s topic…

Ironically the line-up of Sinatra’s hits are Cycle a song of life’s misgivings, and ‘I did it my way’ which was written by his friend Paul Anka another famous singer and song writer. The caption from here to eternity encapsulates the phases of life in a chronical order that we all face.

So taking what life dishes out and trying to do it your own way may not lead to the ‘Eternity’ of what you expect, because going on your own the eternity will be a bleak one.  So conversely choose to do it God’s way by following Jesus.

Remember Jesus said ‘Without Me you can do NOTHING” and He also said “without Faith you cannot please God” So we chose the Text of Ephesian 2: 8-9 that is appropriately stated that we cannot adapt the “I did it my way’ but to face the reality that Jesus’ statement is more than a warning, His statement was an invitation to join Him.

TEXT:  Ephesians 2:8-9 New International Version (NIV)

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

EVENING:

His Faithfulness:

Conclusion: Coming to our Lord:

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior… Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. You are the Temple of God…The Words of Jesus… Luke 17:21 Good News Translation (GNT)

21 No one will say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ because the Kingdom of God is within you.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father by the Grace of our Lord Jesus our Redeemer we are privileged to come into Your holy presence.  Lord Jesus thank you for present us all to the Father and we lift You up before all as we thank Your for the privilege of bring Your good news to our Visitors. Devotionals for Tuesday August 4, 2015

Morning:

Focus:    Name a place of splendor that you can enjoy forever…There is such a place, Jesus called it ‘Paradise’

Forever is a ‘long-time’… on earth there is no ‘forever’. If you are enjoying your life, your family and God’s Divine Providence, the Joy of fellowship in Christ, yes this will continue forever.  The ‘key-word’ here is ‘Fellowship’ in Christ.

TEXT:  Romans 14: 7-9 (NIV). For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

10 You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister[a]? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. 11 It is written:

“As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,
‘every knee will bow before me;
    every tongue will acknowledge God.”

12 So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.

13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.

EVENING: Coming to our Lord:

Continuing our focus on the key-word ‘Fellowship’:  to keep the family circle from being broken that the Joy of fellowship in Christ will continue forever, let us follow what Paul said…

Paul wrote this… 13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.

Conclusion:

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord Jesus today we are privileged to be presented to the Father by your Righteousness and by your Grace we are made worthy to be I n the Holy Presence of the father.  We thank You and we give You our praises as we present our Visitors so that Your Divine blessing will be upon us all. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday August 3, 2015

Morning:     Choose Life and get the Lord’s ‘More’ Abundant Life, the key word here is ‘More’ it is like a double meaning which is God’s double Portion

Focus:  Christ said He came that we would have life and have it ‘More’ abundantly…  This He said when He walked among His Disciples, and His statement was not intended as a ‘Do-Over’ why? Because originally Adam & Eva were given the complete abundance and they lacked nothing… They even had the company of the Lord. We should point out that it was Jesus who was walking with Adam and it was Jesus (Yeshua) that said…Adam where are you? The Lord knew where Adam was, but He wanted Adam to come and declare the things that he did.

But as we read, that Adam when asked by the Lord did you eat of that fruit?
Genesis 3: 10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”

11 And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”

12 The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”

The trait of man dates back to the beginning, as we can see Adam already ‘passing the buck’ and not only did Adam blame Eve, he tied it to the Lord by saying “The woman you ‘put’ here with me gave me some and I ate it…

In spite of what Adam and Eve did, it was no surprise to the Almighty, we have to ask, why did God place the Tree of Knowledge there? And why was there a serpent and why didn’t the Lord banished the evil one that came as a serpent.  We all have many questions why we are made susceptible to temptation and why is the devil allowed to tempt us… The reason why the evil one is allowed to roam seeking his prey, is that God created us to be ‘Free-thinkers’ and now as a slave or what would be referred to as a ‘Zombie’.

The Bible has many instances where Blood is mentioned, and this we see as the Israelite were told to mark their door-post with the Blood of the Lamb, and the ‘symbolic’ cleaning in the temple before coming to God, and the sacrifice made by Jesus on the Cross, this event was recorded 1982 years ago at Calvary when Jesus shed His Blood for us.

So the reality is that we inherited the sin form Adam, and the devil is real but only by the Blood of Christ we can be saved.  What does it mean to be ‘Saved’?  Jesus said to Nicodemus… John 3: Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. [

TEXT:  John 3: 16-21

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

His Faithfulness:

Action:  John 3: 18. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

EVENING:

Coming to our Lord:

Put on the whole Armor of God…

Ephesians 6:10-18  [Full Chapter]

[The Armor of God] Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. ...

Conclusion:

Ephesians 6: 13-17  13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord Jesus thank You for being our shield and Your Word Lord is the Sword and by Your Holy Spirit Lord we have Victory in You Jesus Messiah… Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all your Divine favors as we go in Faith knowing that You will never leave us nor forsake us. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday August 2, 2015

Morning:

Focus:  God is in the business of ‘Forgiving’ He charges nothing, He said ‘Come and buy without money’ receive His Kingdom, All from Jesus.

Why Did Jesus the Almighty Yeshua come? Why did He willingly go to the Cross?

Text: John 6:53

New International Version (NIV)

53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

Commentary: These are the key words that we need to understand:

  • God                        : No one has ever seen God, except Jesus
  • Incarnate              : Jesus is the Incarnate Son, who is God in One of His Holy Trinity
  • Trinity                    : This is the Triune of Father, Son and Holy Spirit
  • Remission             : To Re-Admit, because mankind was evicted from the Eden, we need to be readmitted
  • Redemption         : To Pay a price to be Redeemed, to ‘Buy-back’
  • Sacrifice                : Jesus made His Sacrifice to Redeem us by His Atoning Blood
  • Divine                    : ‘From God’’
  • Forgiveness         :  No one can forgive ‘Sin’; Sin is an inherent ‘pre-condition’ that we inherited from Adam
  • Grace                     : The Grace of our Lord is what He offered us to be Redeemed
  • Holy Spirit            : The Power of His Holy Spirit will be an In-Dwelling Comforter when we accept Jesus
  • Eternity                 : A place where we will be, in one of two places
  • Damnation           : A Place where one is separated from God forever, and in a state of dying but never dead
  • Splendor               : A state in a place where Jesus described as ‘Paradise’

Cleansed by the Blood is an action of purification done by the High Priest before coming to God.  This is an old tradition done inside what is called the Inner-Sanctum of the Temple.  Jesus said “It-is Finished” and the dividing curtain (Wall) of the Temple was torn revealing Him as our ‘High-Priest’ why? Because His Blood was shed for all, and all that come to Him and accept Him; His Blood becomes His SEAL of Redemption, this is the ‘PAID-IN-FULL” Stamp that He purchased us and we are now aboard with Him and is Heaven bound.

Does this mean that because Jesus died and His blood was shed for us all, and by His action we are ‘automatically’ saved? NO! The parallel is: If someone comes to the door of your house and offer you a pot of Gold but you did not take it, so this person moves on, what happened? You just lost your opportunity.  While the Priceless Gift of Salvation through Jesus is free, unless you accept it you cannot possesses it.

You cannot earn it, purchase it or work your way to get it. It is only by His Grace that we can receive His gift, and it is only in Faith that you can come to Him.

EVENING:

TEXT:  Galatians 3:26-29

Galatians 3:26-29New International Version (NIV)

26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Ephesians 5:18

18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit,

On Easter day we commemorated the Crucifixion of Jesus ‘The Christ’ at Calvary, we need to know that Jesus was not a new kid on the block… This same Jesus is the Yeshua/Yahweh who walked with Adam in Eden. But He had to come to Redeem us as Adam sinned and this sin was transferred down to all that came after Adam.

Therefore, you me and everyone are descendants of this man Adam, but nothing surprised our God, and He made a provision for us to be Redeemed. Why did God go to this extent to Redeem us? Because we are His creation, and of all His creations, when He created Man, He said ‘This is good’ and he loved us, and he still loves us.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Philippians 4:6 (NIV)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Conclusion:

Revelation 22 (NIV)

Eden Restored

22 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus thank You for Your Divine Redemption, and by Your Grace we have Victory in You. Lord Your Unconditional Love is overwhelming as we stand in Awe of what you have in store for us. Lord in humility we come knowing that You the Creator came and we received You not. Lord Your Divine Plan was fulfilled as You Paid-It-All and by Your Sacrifice we are Sealed with Your Atoning Blood and made Joint Heirs in you our Lord. Thank Your Lord for the privilege of bringing Your Good News and for our Visitors, Lord bless us all and grant Your Favors to all that call on Your Holy Name Lord Jesus. We pray in Your Matchless Name Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in one of The Father, Son and Holy Spirit Your Divine Trinity, to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore….Amen.

The Words of Jesus… Luke 17:21 Good News Translation (GNT)

21 No one will say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ because the Kingdom of God is within you.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father we thank You for Jesus our Redeemer and Lord Jesus we thank You for interceding for us. Lord today we lift You up and shout Your Good News as we know You our Redeemer Lives!  Lord Jesus we praise You and we bring You our Visitors and seek Your Divine blessings on all as we go in faith knowing that You will never leave us nor forsake us. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore.… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday August 1, 2015

Morning:

Focus:  We all face Mortality, but some of us do not realize this… it is a folly to fly blind, so facing the future without Christ is ‘flying blind’.

TOPIC:                  Fear is fed by lack of hope… Hope is fed by Faith, and Faith in Jesus and His Grace is all we need

TEXT:     Matthew 10: Jesus Teaches the Fear of God

27 “Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. 28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Confess Christ before Men

32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

Focus:    The top 10 things we fear most…

  1. Speaking before a Group
  2. Heights
  3. Insects and bugs
  4. Financial problems
  5. Deep water
  6. Sickness
  7. Death
  8. Flying
  9. Loneliness
  10. Dogs

Actually the thing that we should fear the most is not mentioned on the list… Matthew 10:28

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. In Context | Full Chapter

At some time or the other all of us may have some fear of ever experiencing any of the top 10 listed. We can overcome the fear factor of most of the top ten things. Except for the non-elective items of No. 6 and 7 we can by some means learn to cope or avoid the other factors.

The old adage of ‘Knowledge is Power’ and being a part of today’s new-found knowledge-based society we can overcome the fear of Public speaking, Heights, Deep-water, flying, and dogs, but Insects and bugs, financial problems we can also conquer, yet we cannot avoid sickness, death and loneliness.

However Hope in Christ can conquer the three non-elective factors of sickness, death and Loneliness…

Devotional:

The Divine Providence of our Lord can conquer not just the fear of sickness, death and loneliness, His Providence can provide a Peace that is unexplainable, because He said: John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. In Context | Full Chapter |

Coming to the Lord:

Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 6:10-18 [Full Chapter]

[The Whole Armor of God]

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. ...

EVENING:

It is up to us… God made us free-thinkers, so make the right choices.

  1. Do not give permission to the evil one. Did you know the devil cannot use you unless you grant your permission to allow him?
  2. Why the devil does want your soul? Because you are worth a  lot to Jesus
  3. The Power of Prayer

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said…John 14:3 And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

His Warning: Be aware of Jesus’ statement, He said ‘If”; why? Because while He was going, He would only build a place for those that are in Faith and the unbelievers would not be an heir to His Kingdom. (Therefore Voltaire the Atheist could not sell what he did not have the rights to.) Many of us read this and presumed that Jesus’ statement of Him going meant that ‘everyone’ would receive a ‘place’, there is no entitlement by default, and Jesus statement of “IF” was very specific to believers in Faith.

Only He (our Lord) knows the future…James 4: 14

14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

Conclusion:

Important factor: Our Lord is not against you being rich, but all of what he has provided are to be used to honor our Lord, and He must receive the ‘First-Fruit’ He will not tolerate being offered the left-over.

Prayer: Our Father in Heaven in Jesus we come. Thank You Lord Jesus that through You our Savior we are made Joint-Heirs to Your Kingdom. Today we bring Your Salvation to the global community by Your will and are privileged to serve You Lord Jesus through this Good News network, Lord we pray that our Visitors will be guided by Your Good News and that they will be brought to You Lord; as the angels will celebrate for every sinner that repents, Lord bless this day as we go forward in Faith and knowing that all our needs are provided and we give You thanks knowing that Your faithfulness and Your Covenant will never change. Lord Jesus we pray in Your Holy name and to You Jesus our Sovereign God in One of our Father and Creator, to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory, Now and Forevermore… Amen.
