Giving is a privilege… Receiving also, use both as blessings.

Commentary:

Back when man was living in caves, God made Spiders that had the technology of making a ‘Trap-Door’ for their habitats.  When man was trying to fish, the bears were feasting on salmon. God had to provide daily food drops to His people in the journey to Canaan. Even today there are millions still unable to feed themselves around the world, and even in this land of plenty … The United states of America!

Jesus said… “I come so that you may have life and have it more abundantly”, so what’s the reason why so many are suffering?  The answer is simple, did we say simple? Yes… the root cause of it all is the exploitation of mankind by their fellow man.  An example in a poverty-stricken nation that had an outbreak of Cholera, the life-saving medicine was shipped in and a team of physicians went to this country but the medicine was not available to be administered, why? The greed of men, they wanted to be ‘bribed’ before they would release the medicine, while hundreds were dying daily, the greedy government officials stood by with their hands outstretched looking for money.  This is an example of how many suffer from mal-nutrition and diseases that plagues the population of society.

Ill-begotten gains will soon be lost, the prayers of a righteous man prevail with far-reaching results.  The word ‘Exploit’ is mostly linked to an abusive relation, but in the language of business, the common use of Exploit is a standard operating procedure (SOP) as an inventor is granted a Patent so that he will have the exclusivity to ‘exploit’ the invention.  This is like finding a cure for all Cancer, owning the patent and ‘exploiting’ the users that are suffering…. But in some case a patent is also granted to exploit a form of ‘Poison’ that is sold at an exorbitant price that is supposed to render the patient ‘almost-dead’ so that the cancel cells will die, but this procedure is also killing the patient.

Today we have a drug epidemic with ‘OPIOD”.  Opioids are a class of drugs that include the illegal drug heroin, synthetic opioids such as fentanyl, and pain relievers available legally by prescription, such as oxycodone (OxyContin®), hydrocodone (Vicodin®), codeine, morphine, and many others. There is a crisis caused by the proliferation of this.

In Christendom, we have some organized churches with the similar SOP {Standard Operating Procedures) they bring gatherings together but never bringing their congregation to the Lord, by Faith in the Lord, they instill in their congregation the need to support the church, and not nurture the soul of their congregation. What are we saying?  Unless leaders start to convey the “Truth” they will never be ‘Free’ from their habits of having to raise millions to keep their bloated organization running while exploiting their church goers.

Tiding is a ‘Privilege’ that our Lord endowed to us, giving is a privilege and what we give is not giving, we are simply restoring to our Lord what we withheld from Him as it is all His, and we are just allowed to use a portion under a Good-Stewardship plan. Good Stewardship is like using the water from the canteen in measured quantity while we are travelling in a dessert where there is no faucet at hand.

It is like many Governments, they need more money every hour, why, because spending more than what is coming in is always a disaster in the making.  So, can we say that government spending is like a drug addict?  Pretty much so, as a drug addict will do whatever to get money to support his addiction.

Let us displace ourselves from the greed, the ‘high-living’ and the campaign to exploit our fellowmen… how? By adopting the precepts of our Lord…  Seek Him First and His Righteousness, and this is what He said, and all of our needs will be given to us.

So much for the negatives, let us just go to the Lord and follow His instruction of Matthew 6 33.

Matthew 6:33New King James Version (NKJV)

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Notation:  the ‘Things’ that Jesus was referring to is HIS Kingdom… and His Kingdom is not a ‘Thing’ it is a Place of Splendor.

Prayer: Heavenly Father…  Lord we Praise You knowing that ‘The Best is Yet to Come’ for those in Christ as You have said, where You are so shall those in You be. We thank You for our Visitors and Praise You for Your Supremacy and Majesty Jesus, Messiah our Eternal Sovereign God, to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore…Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday August 30th, 2017.

Calendar or Fiscal integrity… which is essential?

Both are essential… The Lord is never late and He always meet our needs.

Sometimes what He does is not what we wanted, because of His plan for each of us His answers may be totally different to our request.

In the case of asking for healing but instead, He may have called that person home.  There are many instances of God choosing to call that person home instead of granting the request for healing.

And in some instances, The Lord could have saved His servants form death, but He welcomed them home. Remember Jesus did say that He Himself was not of this World.  So, when Herod was about to get John the Baptist beheaded, Jesus could have stopped this, but rather… He allowed John to be sent home to the Father.  Because the Bible said…

Absent from the body and be Present with The Lord…

2 Corinthians 5:8

We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

Another instance when Jesus preferred to welcome Stephen Home…

Acts 7:59 And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”

Fiscal Integrity-Explained by the Lord…

Luke 14:28-30  (NKJV)

28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it— 29 lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, 30 saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish’?

Commentary:  In God’s economy… There is no deficit, He knows exactly the cost and He can do exceedingly above what it takes to provide a future that is full of Splendor…  Our God needs no help from us, God’s request to come to Him is not to help Him, it is a call to us that we can be helped, and when we received His Providence, we are to help others in His name.

The Bible tells of a future  place that Jesus said He went to prepare for us,  a place not made with human hands, nor will it ever be shaken.  What is amazing is that all that Jesus spoke about, His Love, His care, His Salvation and Redemption these oftentimes go ignored by many.

It is no wonder when we see countries that turn from Christ go from the ‘Lenders’ list to the ‘Borrowers’ List, and countries that are turning to Christ go on the ‘Lending List’ One of the largest borrowers of all time is… you guessed it; The United States of America, it takes the prize.

When the Bible is ‘Off-Limits’ in our schools, Prayers are declared off limits, we can look back and see the drastic change in the system, it is no wonder that ‘Home-Schooling’ is at an all-time high.

We must say this… that the Bible is taught in the Russian School system, and the experience of school officials using the Bible as a curriculum was a major step for a communist county. So much to the extent that my cousin who was invited to address the School system in Russia, his opening remark (an abridged version) it is difficult to just open this book and start to teach, it takes an experience of faith, sort of what Jesus said to Nicodemus, “You must be born again” this was a brave statement, but a year later the Navigators® hosted over a thousand teachers, school officials that came to know the Lord.

Russian economy is considered healthier that many so called Christian societies.  In looking at China, we also must reference China’s great strides in opening their country to allow Christians to worship and Christian organizations like Bible Study Fellowship® (BSF©) to teach the Bible.  In fact, BSF was invited by the Chinese and given a ‘Welcome-Back’ event allowing BSF to be in many cities today.  China is not on the Borrowers list, maybe because of the Government’s printing presses printing Mandarin Bibles for distributions,   became one of the largest producers of bibles in the world

From the ECONOMIST®

Conclusion: We are not to judge anyone…

Great Day to you all and hope that many will come to our Lord today.... (I am not the 'founder of the Good News Forever), I just started it, and He our Lord founded it.  Many pastors like to say that ‘this church was founded” and "I am the founder of this ministry".... Even Jesus never said He was the Founder, so when I read this statement by a pastor, I take this as a light-hearted moment by such claims as a founder.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we thank You for opening doors for Your Gospel to be presented to a world that yearns for your Salvation. Lord we thank You for Your Divine Grace and the privilege of bringing Your Good News of salvation as You our Redeemer lives, and in You we have Victory. Lord bless the mission of those engaged in spreading Your Good News around the world. We thank you Lord for our Visitors and we ask Your Divine Blessings upon each one as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday August 29th, 2017.

Is it Sources or Resources? God is both to each of us.

His Providence has no preference…

Genesis 16:1-3 Good News Translation (GNT)

Hagar and Ishmael

16 Abram's wife Sarai had not borne him any children. But she had an Egyptian slave woman named Hagar, and so she said to Abram, “The Lord has kept me from having children. Why don't you sleep with my slave? Perhaps she can have a child for me.” Abram agreed with what Sarai said. So she gave Hagar to him to be his concubine.

Hagar and Ishmael Sent Away

The child grew and was weaned,(K) and on the day Isaac was weaned Abraham held a great feast. But Sarah saw that the son whom Hagar the Egyptian had borne to Abraham(L) was mocking,(M) 10 and she said to Abraham, “Get rid of that slave woman(N) and her son, for that woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac.”(O)

14 Early the next morning Abraham took some food and a skin of water and gave them to Hagar.(S) He set them on her shoulders and then sent her off with the boy. She went on her way and wandered in the Desert of Beersheba.(T)

15 When the water in the skin was gone, she put the boy under one of the bushes. 16 Then she went off and sat down about a bowshot away, for she thought, “I cannot watch the boy die.” And as she sat there, she began to sob.(U)

The mercies of the Lord shown without preference…

17 God heard the boy crying,(V) and the angel of God(W) called to Hagar from heaven(X) and said to her, “What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid;(Y) God has heard the boy crying as he lies there. 18 Lift the boy up and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.(Z)

19 Then God opened her eyes(AA) and she saw a well of water.(AB) So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink. 20 God was with the boy(AC) as he grew up.

Today in our society, we have sponsors of civil unrests, and we may wonder about how could God endow such a person or even a nation with wealth to be an enabler of violence against His people?

Could it be that both sides have forgotten the 1st and 2nd greatest commandments?

Unless we can … adopt what Jesus said this…

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’(B) Matthew 22:37

A group of people posing for the camera Description generated with very high confidenceThis is the reason why Jesus came 2,017 years ago, He prophesied…

John 16:33

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” In Context | Full Chapter |

Victory in Christ… Romans 8:28 [Full Chapter]

Romans 8: 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good(BD) of those who love him, who have been called(BE) according to his purpose.(BF) 29 For those God foreknew(BG) he also predestined(BH) to be conformed to the image of his Son,(BI) that he might be the firstborn(BJ) among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined,(BK) he also called;(BL)those he called, he also justified;(BM) those he justified, he also glorified.(BN)

More Than Conquerors.

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things?(BO) If God is for us,(BP) who can be against us?(BQ) 32 He who did not spare his own Son,(BR)but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge(BS) against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns?(BT) No one. Christ Jesus who died(BU)—more than that, who was raised to life(BV)—is at the right hand of God(BW) and is also interceding for us.(BX) 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?(BY)Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?(BZ) 36 As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”(CA)

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors(CB) through him who loved us.(CC) 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future,(CD) nor any powers,(CE) 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God(CF) that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.(CG)

Prayer: “ASK” … Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity.   Lord Jesus today we Ask for Your divine guidance. You are Faithful and all our needs are met by Your Graciousness. Lord, just as Elisha said…” As surely as the Lord lives whom I serve, I will not accept a thing” Lord we say the same as we serve You our Living God, and we look to You alone our Lord and Savior. Lord bless our Visitors as we pray in Jesus precious name, and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday August 28th, 2017      : Unfailing Power, never an outage – Totally Sustainable

The automotive industry on a worldwide scale is rushing towards Electric-Cars, Hybrid and Autonomous (Self-Driving cars)

And all the above are subject to running out of charge, Software being hacked or various malfunctions.

The Unfailing Power and totally sustainable comes from the Lord.

What is ‘Sustainable’ or ‘Renewable energy’?  An energy source gained from Solar-Cells or Wind-Turbine maybe be classified as renewable but, Hydrogen, or Natural-Gas are non-renewable.

All categories of energy are all from God, the Wind, the Sun and the Fossil-fuel are all non-manmade.

So, in the realty of it all only what is from the Lord is all that we have as sources of energy.

Commentary:  The question what will you be doing when you get there? Will you be doing more of the same? Is the more of the same what our Lord would consider acceptable?

Are you doing His will here on earth? Today the word “Sustainable’ is predominant in food production, energy and conservation. In God’s economy what is considered sustainable?  The Love of God is… Forever and Jesus our Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Idols are not necessary images of gold; silver or even stone… anything that we spend more time focusing on; is construed to be an idol.  So, we worry about the economy, the business, the house, cars, kids, paying bills etc.  Guess what?  There’s a coming day that all this will be irrelevant.  My brother in Christ said… while laying in bed at the hospital all he could think of was his families, their well-being of their faith and if they would be joining him if he went home to be with the Lord.

This was a good focus as he was not thinking of himself, but also thinking of the Grace of our Lord for his families.

Our focus should be as directed by

Matthew 6:33 NKJV

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Matthew 3:17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

In Heaven, there will be One Lord, One God and He is Jesus… Every knee shall bow, and every lip will give our Lord Jesus the Glory knowing He is Lord and God in the Holy Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, dwelling among us all in His Kingdom.

Heaven is a place fully sanctified and ‘Hardened’ (hardened means to be protected from radiation) against sin, there will be no deceit, no greed, no immorality, no Hollywood, no jails and no hospitals, no cemeteries, only LIFE and it will be Ever-Lasting, and there will be no pollution as there will be no Power Grids, because our Lord will be the source of Light, and the Joy from him will replace the 1,500 channels of nothing on TV.

Jesus gave us all a ‘glimpse’ of the above, but our finite brain power could not break the barriers. Because our ‘Faith’ has limitation that prevented us from reaching His dimension, remember Jesus said…” I am not of this world”; therefore, be prepared for un-bridled Joy in a place of un-imaginable Splendor described by Jesus himself as “Paradise’

While we are not able to go to His Kingdom until that day when we leave this earthy tent. We can come to our Lord Jesus and in Faith have communion with Him as He said come unto me…

Heavenly Father, Jesus our Lord and Savior we come Lord knowing You are there and are in our Midst, Lord we thank You Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God.  Lord as we end this day we thank You for Your Graciousness and we place all in Your Holy hands.  Lord, knowing that the dark clouds are gathering which will be broken by the Trumpet’s sound.  Lord let Your Holy Spirit be with us and our Visitors as we thank You for Your Favors and Your Faithfulness in meeting our needs. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus as we look to a new dawn filled with Your Love and Grace, to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday August 27, 2017

It’s a beautiful morning… He made it a wonderful day for us to Thank our Lord and Praise Him…

As we begin the week… Mondays are sometimes described as ‘Blue-Monday’ rather than singing the ‘blues’, let us start the day knowing that this is a new day a new week and a day our Lord has made…

The Rogers & Hammerstein rendition of…. O what a beautiful morning says it all…

There's a bright golden haze on the meadow,
There's a bright golden haze on the meadow,
The corn is as high as an elephant's eye,
An' it looks like its climbin' clear up to the sky.

Chorus:
Oh what a beautiful morning,
Oh what a beautiful day,
I've got a wonderful feeling,
Everything's going my way.

Let us Seize the Day and claim it for our Lord, that will give us His Peace and His Blessings as we take on this coming Monday, knowing: We must guard our prayer times so that the pressures of daily living don't crowd them out.

We need to be on the watch that we avoid the subtleness of temptation it creeps into our lives, just ike the yeast that permeates the whole mix of flour… as He (Jesus) said:

1 John 1:9 (NIV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

The Best is Yet to Come! (But it will not be for everyone) On the day of the Lord, all believers Born in His Holy Spirit as Jesus said to Nicodemus…  John 3:7  “You must be born again” on that day believers will be caught up “to meet the Lord in the air” and the Holy Spirit will leave this earth at the same time with His believers.  What a journey to Glory that day will be for God’s chosen ones to a place free of sin forever.

For those that rejected God’s Grace there will be no reprieve and they will forever be with the father of lies… the devil and a world of tribulation.  We urge everyone to rise and come to the Cross… The Cross is the ‘Transit-point’ to our Savior Jesus Christ who came, died and rose triumphantly to conquer the evil one by redeeming you and me to have an everlasting life in the Presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus our Messiah.

You may have a PhD in theology, you may even be a pastor of a large mega church or even the Pope, and unless we are ‘Born-Again’ there is no place for you. We did not make this up, Jesus said… “You must be Born-Again”.

Regardless of what we face today, we need to remember that God loves you…. And He wants to have the best for you right now. How can we say this when we are mourning the loss of a loved one? A sick family member, separation from families and a cash short situation… None of these are from our Lord…. What are we saying? There is no ‘Lost’ loved ones for those in Christ, because the departure of one’s beloved is not counted as lost, as we should be able to say emphatically “My beloved in not lost, I know exactly where he or she is” … with our Lord,  for those experiencing illness, it is a time to grow in the Lord and gain inner strength and use our faith to show that the physical illness is just physical and continue to express our love for the Lord while seeking His divine will.

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you, 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18 NKJV

Our relationship void is not a one-way issue and one’s personal forgiveness in the presence of our Lord is sufficiently accepted by our Lord, and materially, the monetary situation has always been a challenge for many including the servants of our Lord, but in faith we must acknowledge that His promises never fail, and He will provide all our needs, and as we say, Faith without works can be a dead end… the farmer must plough the field, plant the seed and cultivate the crop until it is ready for harvest, what does this tells us? We must seek the guidance of our Lord but we must use the ‘Talent’ that He gave us and use the talent as a means of sufficiency from our Lord. No one is self-sufficient; even with a billion dollars without return on capital the billion will erode-away… money is like an ice cube sitting in the center of the Interstate in a hot summer day.

So, this Monday morning, let us remember those that came from the farm to the city to find their fortune so that they could retire and buy a farm, if you are on a farm, enjoy the ride and look out unto the green meadows and thank our Lord for His mercies.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord as we start a new week let us be bold to be a witness of Your Divine Redemption. Lord grant in us Your Peace and lead us as we in faith look to You and place all in Your Holy Hands.  Lord Jesus thank you for the privilege of serving You and thank you for the many visitors, Lord let this mission be for Your Glory as we seek to bring others to you Lord. Bless our Visitors Lord and grant us all You Favors and equip us to face all challenges as we look to You as the Author and Finisher of our Faith. In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, we pray, and to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday: August 26, 2017

Fact: What good is a beautiful car that is not reliable? The same for a person, but a person can change.

In Cars, all brands are featured in the ‘Un-Reliable’ line up, including all luxury German and British made, so, this means… Cars are all man-made, so they are prone to problems.  But a person is ‘God-Made’ and even then, there is a certain level of un-reliability there.

In life, there is always a ‘Catalyst’ which is defined as…

a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without itself undergoing any permanent chemical change.

Or a person or thing that precipitates an event.

So, what drives us to buy a luxury car? Is it prideful? Or is it because we need a more reliable car? We already found the answer to reliableness for luxury vehicles, they all have problems.  Therefore, it may be a class status bordering on pride.

In humans, they catalyst that may cause unreliableness could be several factors, and one of the core factor is ‘Sin’.

You may say I was born a perfect human being, healthy, agile, active and I excel in sports and all physical and scholastics events.  The Good News is this core blemish can be removed, not ‘covered-up’. God said He will remove the stigma of sin as far as the east is from the west, and above all. He will not remember it anymore.

So, what?  I have been washed in the Blood of Christ and according to His covenant of Redemption, I have confessed my sins, and am forgiven according to the Grace of the Lord. But I am still in some ways unreliable… Know this ….

Jesus said…

John 10:28

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 10:29

My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

So, today let us have victory in Christ, because…

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

In Context | Full Chapter

Know this… being saved by God’s Grace through Jesus Christ, and being saved, this does not mean we can continue to sin.

Because the word of God said to so this is like…

A fool doing some stupid thing a second time is like a dog going back to its vomit. Proverbs 26:11 [Full Chapter]

Romans 6:1

Dead to Sin but Alive in Union with Christ] What shall we say, then? Should we continue to live in sin so that God's grace will increase?

1 John 3:6

So, everyone who lives in union with Christ does not continue to sin; but whoever continues to sin has never seen him or known him. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

1 John 3:9

Those who are children of God do not continue to sin, for God's very nature is in them; and because God is their Father, they cannot continue to sin. In Context | Full Chapter |

A Fact that everyone should know… He (God) Created us in His Likeness, and being in His likeness, we never Die, as he lives forever... So, come to Him today and Accept His Priceless Gift and be sealed with His Blood of Atonement. Go to our Green Pasture Page and receive Him today.

Conclusion:

His Grace is the Catalyst that ignites our Faith and when these two forces are fused together the power of His Redemption is now in us.  No one comes to the Father unless through Jesus His Son our Redeemer. Therefore, the Power our Faith + His Grace x Life²= Everlasting Life in Christ Jesus. This equation is the highest power of all mathematic formulae.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father we have Victory in You through Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity. Lord Jesus today we come and thank You for the Power of Your Grace as we in Faith combine Your Grace with our Faith in You knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord We thank You for the privilege of serving You; and we thank You for our Visitors, Lord let our Visitors be Blessed and grant them Your Peace. Lord we give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore.  Amen.

Devotionals for Friday August 25th, 2017

There was a period of silence for 400 years until Jesus came… The Gospel is the Good News of Christ’s redemption...

Commentary:  The Gospel is the Good News, this is the ‘Best’ News you will ever hear in your entire lifetime…The message is; Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinners. Yes, our Lord came from His Kingdom of Paradise to become poor for our sake that through His poverty we will be rich.  Yes, when you Know Him you are rich in His Grace, and His Grace is all you need, as He said He will never leave you nor forget you.

Matthew, Mark, Luke & John referred to as the Gospel and as the synoptic-gospels, there were a period of 400 years referred to as the ‘Silent-Years’ from the end of the Old Testament period to Matthew announcing the Birth of our Savior, and these events are ratified and affirmed. But there’s more than just the Teaching of Jesus, it reveals His Deity His Father’s Divine Affirmation of Jesus as the Beloved Son of GOD.

2 Peter 1:16-18

PETER gave testimony of his own personal experience as he witnessed this when Jesus was Glorified before them.

The Trustworthy Prophetic Word

16 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” 18 And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.

EVENING:

Sometimes you might wonder why did God not make you a famous person or a wealthy individual, and why are you just a simple wage-earner?  Stop and reflect, maybe you are very wealthy in the sight of God. Are you leading others to our Lord? Are you building His Kingdom by His Precepts? If so this is Good; if not, what is the real purpose of your life? We have the great commission from our Lord. Love your neighbor as yourself.

1 Timothy 1:15 (Paul writing to Timothy)

New King James Version (NKJV)

15 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

Grace brings Freedom through the Holy Spirit – Follow the Spirit

2nd Corinth. 4: 7 * Jars of Clay Our Treasures are in Jars of Clay, and must be exposed to let others see the Gift of The Holy Spirit.

In today’s hustle & bustle it is hard to stop and reflect on the Grace that we have from our Lord.  Grace is defined as ‘UN-Merited’; while we face the challenges of this world, our Lord God in His infinite power sent His Son Jesus to redeem us…. 2 Corinthians 8: For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

2 Corinthians 2:14
But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.

While the world undergoes the turmoil of war, rumors of war and terrorism, we have Hope (mentioned 121 times in the KJV and 159 times in the NIV Bibles.)

  • JOY: Joy is mentioned 244 times in the Bible, considering the announcement of our Savior’s Birth… Luke 2:10
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.

  • FAITH:   Romans 1:17
For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

  • HOPE                       1 Corinthians 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13  (Whole Chapter) Our hope in Christ founded on…  2 Corinthians 2: 14

  • TRIUMPH:     Revelation 17:14
They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”

His Promise:

2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:7-9 (in Context)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus my Lord my Savior my Messiah I come… Lord today as I start this day I seek You and Lord let all of the proceedings be built on You my Rock, Lord what is planned for today, let it be from You my Jesus as You will lay that cornerstone.  Lord let the Cap rock be visible bearing the emblem of The Cross which is not just a symbol but it is the masthead filled with Your Holy Spirit.

Lord we thank You for our Visitors and ask Your Blessings upon each and every one as we go in Faith knowing that all things work for Good to those that love You Lord Jesus.  We pray in Your Holy Name our Sovereigns Eternal God in One of the Father and Your Holy Spirit. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Fact:       Priority lane… using the express-lanes, it will cost you. It applies to life, being in God’s priority lane its free…

The priority lanes are always a relieve, usually it is when you want to get home, and these includes, being able to leave the packed aircraft first, going to the Immigration lane for Citizens, driving home in the express lane.  All these can save you 50% of the time from landing to your front-door.

On the other-hand, without these amenities, it is: Standing in line among a plane load of people waiting to be processed, sitting in traffic for as much as an hour.  This scenario is worst deplaning form a super-jumbo (Airbus 380) of 469 passengers.

Peter 3:10 [ A New Heaven and Earth] But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. In Context | Full Chapter |

Focus… Whatever it takes, strive to be on the winning team, The Lord has set you free, just come to Him…

The World loves a winner… but they did not recognize the ‘Real-Winner’ who are the ‘Real-Winners’?  Jesus ‘The’ Christ and all those in Christ…. Everyone would like to be in ‘Victory-Lane’ In Christ you can be in Victory-lane today by the Grace of our Lord and savior…

Some of the best servants of God are wheelchair bound, Fanny Crosby a blind person wrote some of the most beloved hymns with over 100 million copies of her hymns printed.

And some that made giant foot-prints in the sands of time, they also knew God, as Einstein said… Einstein was then asked if he accepted the historical existence of Jesus, to which he replied, "Unquestionably! No one can read the Gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus. His personality pulsates in every word. No myth is filled with such life."

Albert Einstein is the great scientist of the twentieth century and notable physicist of all time. It is told that he had learning disability in his childhood. He could not talk till he was three and could not read till he was eight. Despite such problems he later became the noble prize winner for his contribution to the Physics.

Matthew 25:21
His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
Matthew 25:20-22 (in Context) Matthew 25 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:

  • We need to adopt the principles of not trying to save our life for our own goal, but give it with no condition even to death
  • We need to let go and no strings attached so that the Grace of God will take charge of our life
  • This is what we call a living sacrifice

Each of us received specific talents, some with the gift of communication, some with music some inventors and some with financial skills, some are leaders and some are followers. Whatever skills we possess we can use it to help others. So even when we think we are down and out there are always others with more challenge than what you face right now.

All the above individuals facing life’s challenges made their mark on earth with significant contribution to mankind, except for Fanny Crosby who set out to give her Lord praises and to share her faith, but while doing this she received the blessing of the fragrance of our Lord. She was admitted to the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. The example of Fanny Crosby above points us to the fact while we spread the fragrance of our Lord, we will also receive His fragrance.

Remember only what’s done for Him will last and only what He builds will last. So, let Him build our lives by His Grace, and following our Lord’s commandments, No. 1 To Love Him and No.2 to Love our Neighbors.

So, look around see what talent the Lord gave you, get involved. Bring your ideas to your church; seek others to join you in volunteering to help others.

Good News:

Devotionals for Tuesday: August 22, 2017

Superficial can be negative when describing someone, as shallow and not focused on meaningful things.

The word superficial must do with appearances and the surface. If a car is in an accident, but it only has a few scratches, you could say it has superficial damage, because the important parts are OK. If you just glance at a movie for a second, your opinion will be more superficial than the opinion of someone who watched the whole film closely. Superficial can have a negative flavor; calling someone superficial is saying that they are shallow and care too little about meaningful things.

Are politicians shallow? Yes and no, but they certainly think the masses are shallow.  By bombarding the airwaves with fake news, and promoting their agenda of gay rights, same-sex marriages, transgender restrooms and abortion rights, the percentage of society that supports these agenda are in the minority. But these agenda are handled in an “In your face’ attitude that anyone not supporting these agenda are implied to be lacking cognitive ability.  It is the politicians that lacks cognitive ability, as they took the oath of office by swearing “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So, help me God.

Ending their Oath by saying...” So, help me God”, when this same politician presents a Bill to pass laws in favor of: gay rights, same-sex marriages, transgender restrooms and abortion, is this politician thinking that God will be helping him on these abominable agendas?  This is the finest example of a superficial person that may be suffering from amnesia or a serious case of lacking intelligence.

Democracy may be vulnerable to changes, but an Oath asking God for help in presenting abominable agenda is a mockery of the Almighty.  So, let us choose to support our leaders that are abiding on the side of God… and all politician that go against this credo of asking God for help, but, serving against the will of God, by being political-correct with their agenda that are abomination to the Lord, they shall fall by the wayside.

Read… Micah 3:11  In Context | Full Chapter |

Therefore because of you
Zion shall be plowed like a field,

The Grace and Love of our Lord

His Sovereignty, His Majesty, His Love, His Redemption….

His Omniscient… Jesus is with us always, even to the ends of the age:

2 Peter 1:3 [Confirming One’s Calling and Election] His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

His Love:   Our Sovereign God loves us so much He sent His Son to Redeem us

1 John 4:10  NIV
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

His Saving Grace: (Redemption)

2 Timothy 1:8-10 (in Context)

Prayer… Lord let me be humble and by brotherly love not pre-judge anyone. Today, Lord instill in me the presence of Your Holy Spirit and capture my ways, my thoughts, my all and let me shine as a beacon for You.  leading others to You my Lord, as You said let it be done on Earth as it is in Heaven therefore; Lord use me and let Your Kingdom be broaden and grant our audience that seek You Lord; safety and as Your Said Lord...” You will never leave us nor forsake us”, To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore, in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus we pray… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday August 21, 2017

The sun went dark for 3 hours, He made the earth stood still, there’s so much we do not know…

Today in 33 States of the USA there will be a Total Eclipse of the Moon and the Sun, at each point it will last approximately 1 to 2 Minutes.

https://img.purch.com/h/1400/aHR0cDovL3d3dy5zcGFjZS5jb20vaW1hZ2VzL2kvMDAwLzA2NC82MDAvb3JpZ2luYWwvMjAxNy10b3RhbC1zb2xhci1lY2xpcHNlLXRyYWNrLmpwZw==

This Total-Eclipse last occurred 99 years ago, the next will not be like this 2017 event, but after the August 21, 2017 eclipse.

At Calvary, the Sun went dark for a full three hours.  And the darkness was not just like night, it was like when…The ninth plague came without any warning, just like the third and sixth plagues, so it formed a fitting climax to the third cycle of plagues. Then ADONAI said to Moses, His servant: Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness will spread over Egypt – darkness that can be felt (10:21).

The darkness during Moses time was not the sun going dark, but a thick fog, so thick it could be felt.

The Almighty our Creator Sovereign God, He can cause the Sun to go dark, and He did command the day to stand-still…

Joshua 10:12-13 NKJV

12 Then Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel:

“Sun, stand still over Gibeon;
And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.”
13 So the sun stood still,
And the moon stopped,
Till the people had revenge
Upon their enemies.

Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day. 14 And there has been no day like that, before it or after it, that the Lord heeded the voice of a man; for the Lord fought for Israel.

So much we do not know…

Commentary: There are a lot of books and television specials about Heaven… With all the publication and discussion regarding heaven, yet there remain a lot of unknown about the future and even the past.  Looking back at Moses as he led his people through the wilderness for 40 years, yet he did not get to cross to the Promised Land. But we see Moses and Elijah appearing to Jesus on the day of the Transfiguration.

Moses was on the top of mount Pisgah looking across to Canaan around1406 BC, Deuteronomy 3:27 New King James Version (NKJV)

27 Go up to the top of Pisgah, and lift your eyes toward the west, the north, the south, and the east; behold it with your eyes, for you shall not cross over this Jordan.

Moses was forbidden to cross the Jordan to the Promised-Land. On the other hand, we see the event of the transfiguration that occurred around 31 AD, Matthew 17: 2-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

Jesus Transfigured on the Mount

17 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

We read How Jesus Ascended back to The FATHER.  AND WE READ… Acts 1:  9. After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

Be ready for that day…

Yes, I am ready Lord, and am Armed and by Your Grace I can do all Things in You Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior…

Come to our Lord Jesus and asked to be Saved by His Grace, Confess that you are a Sinner, as we are all sinners, and He will forgive you. Ask that His Holy Spirit be in you, as all Believers are made a ‘New Creation’ and the Power of God will resonate through you as you will experience His Gift of Life. Walk with our Lord Jesus, as all relationships must be nurtured, ask Jesus to lead you and to open your eyes and learn His WORD, Study the Bible, join a Bible Study* group, attend a Bible Based Church** and grow in His Grace. Read the Bible, gather the key principles of Jesus’ teaching, read, the Gospels, and if you need help call or write us and we will send you material that can help you with your walk; and growing in strength and victory in Christ Jesus.

Devotionals for Sunday:  August 20, 2017

Let it be “VICTORY in CHRIST’      What is your life’s mission? Find it and deploy it, align it to the ‘Great-Commission’

Galatians 5

Thoughts for Monday…

You can’t afford to miss the most important appointment of the day, Your Daily

Commentary:

A famous man once said, “Although I do not want to live as Christians do, I would like to die as they do” … Obviously this is impossible as a man living without Christ cannot please God, and without Faith this person will never be in the presence of God.

Paul writing to the Galatians encapsulated the key points of Jesus’ teaching. We will take a brief look back on Paul who was a persecutor of Christians, he even witnessed the stoning death of Steven, and how Saul later known as Paul became a Vessel of Christ. The Lord chose him and made him a vessel, in fact we read that Paul was not boasting when he said he know of a man that was taken to the third heaven… this is where he received the knowledge of the Good News that he was commissioned to bring to the Gentiles.

Christ our Redeemer has set us free!

Galatians 5 (NIV)

Freedom in Christ

5: 1.  It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth? That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you. “A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.

Life by the Spirit

13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

His Promise:

Hebrews 7:25
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

His Faithfulness:

Romans 8: 28-35

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died —more than that, who was raised to life —is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Prayer:   Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer, Lord Jesus our Eternal Sovereign God, as we start this new week Lord, let each day be a day of Grace, and let Your Blessings flow to us and to all that we interact with. Lord we place You on High, and we stand at the empty Cross knowing that You ascended to the Throne of Righteousness, and we are privileged to come as You intercedes for us. Lord, we pray for our Nation and we ask that Your Will be done and bring us to You so that You may heal our land, we pray for our Visitors. Lord we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Today’s mission… Spend your most valuable-asset wisely, this is ‘Your-Time’, it can never be redeemed.

What is your most valuable asset, is it one of the following:

  1. Your money?
  2. Your gold or silver?
  3. Your good name?
  4. Your career?
  5. Your life?
  6. Your knowledge?
  7. Your Time?

If we chose #7… our time, it could be the most valuable thing we have.  Notice we say ‘have’ and not possess.  We can possess money, gold or silver and the rest of the items listed, but ‘Time’ is a resource in limited allocation, and this is indexed to #4 our lives.

One of the most guarded item is not listed above, and this is …’Worship’.  So, be careful of what we do in our Worship-time, let it be a Praise to the Father and thanking our Redeemer Jesus. Not because He is the giver of all of the above, but He is Sovereign and He is God in One of the Father.

Spending more time thinking of the above can make the things of the world our idols…  Because there is no need to do more than what is necessary to attain what we need.  A statement like this would be considered unwise, because to meet life’s demands it is a challenge, but Jesus said…

Matthew 6:33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. In Context | Full Chapter |

We have repeatedly said… Jesus is always ‘Just-in-Time’ and He is forever faithful.  So, knowing that all things are from Him, the giver of Life, meeting all our needs.  Notice we said, ‘Needs’ and not our ‘want’.

If we analyze our ‘Want’ versus our ‘needs’ we would be like a kid in a candy store saying…’I want that and that and that’… but most of what we desire would be harmful, excessive, it’s like eating a handful of cherries, but a big- bowl of cherries will be an unwise thing to do.

So, in life, let all things be in moderation, but seek the Lord first, letting Him know that you are thankful for His Providence, because…

Mark 11:24 Jesus said this…

Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

In Context | Full Chapter |

On the other hand,…

So, the request you made and am still waiting, has not been received? Why?

James 4:3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

Confidence and Compassion in Prayer] Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. In Context | Full Chapter |

Read the true story of General Patton’s Prayer for good-weather… (Click here)http://www.pattonhq.com/prayer.html

So, today let’s pray for Peace, peace in our own lives, peace for this troubled world, this divided world, pray that God will heal our land, and pray that many will come to know Christ.

And the Apostle Paul wrote; in whatever state we are in we must be thankful.

Philippians 4: Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Jesus Messiah we are privileged to be called to love one another as You have loved us. Lord bless our Visitors and grant each and every one Your providence as we know You know our needs even before we ask or even think it.  Lord we thank You knowing that You will lead us in triumph in You our Sovereign Eternal God. Lord we thank You for the privilege of bringing Your Good News to these sites and we seek Your continued blessings that many will come to know You Lord.  Lord Jesus we give You the Glory and to You is the Power and thine is the Kingdom, now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday:      August 18, 2017

Do this…  Rise above the adversities, do not let disappointment triumph, Claim Victory in Christ…

FOCUS: Without Christ in the equation the answer will be incorrect. With Jesus, He makes all things good for those who seeks Him

The slogan… there’s no atheist in the fox-hole, and so were the sailors on the boat carrying Jonah.

You can leave God out of the equation and fail or; include Him and be sure of a good ending.

God is Merciful and through His Son Jesus who is God Incarnate will save you when you come to Him, just as how He saved Jonah, but Jonah was running from the assignment that The Lord gave him which he abandoned, but The Lord’s Will must be carried out so Jonah was found, re-directed and he fulfilled the mission of The Lord.

Jonah 1 [Full Chapter]

Jonah Flees from the Lord] The word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amittai: “Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.” But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Lord. ...

TEXT:  Jonah 1:4-17 But the Lord sent out a great wind on the sea, and there was a mighty tempest on the sea, so that the ship was about to be broken up. Then the mariners were afraid; and every man cried out to his god, and threw the cargo that was in the ship into the sea, to lighten the load. But Jonah had gone down into the lowest parts of the ship, had lain down, and was fast asleep.

So, the captain came to him, and said to him, “What do you mean, sleeper? Arise, call on your God; perhaps your God will consider us, so that we may not perish.” And they said to one another, “Come, let us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this trouble has come upon us.” So, they cast lots, and the lot fell on Jonah. Then they said to him, “Please tell us! For whose cause is this trouble upon us? What is your occupation? And where do you come from? What is your country? And of what people are you?” So, he said to them, “I am a Hebrew; and I fear the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.” Then the men were exceedingly afraid, and said to him, “Why have you done this?” For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the Lord, because he had told them.

Then they said to him, “What shall we do to you that the sea may be calm for us?”—for the sea was growing more tempestuous. And he said to them, “Pick me up and throw me into the sea; then the sea will become calm for you. For I know that this great tempest is because of me.” Nevertheless, the men rowed hard to return to land, but they could not, for the sea continued to grow more tempestuous against them.

Therefore, they cried out to the Lord and said, “We pray, O Lord, please do not let us perish for this man’s life, and do not charge us with innocent blood; for You, O Lord, have done as it pleased You.” So, they picked up Jonah and threw him into the sea, and the sea ceased from its raging. Then the men feared the Lord exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice to the Lord and took vows.  Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

Devotionals for Thursday:  August 17, 2017

You are here for a reason… What is that reason? Jesus knows, because He knows you are here…

 Why are you here…

  • You are unique,  made in the likeness of God, but given your own free will.
  • You are an individual and no one else will be like you.
  • You are irreplaceable because God made only one of you.
  • Your mind, your thoughts, your belief, your present and your future are all yours, no one else can claim it.

When you know Christ, you are now even more unique… because you are invincible by His endowment of Life-Everlasting.

The message today is to hold-fast, stay the course focused on Jesus…

Revelation 3:3

Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.

God’s promise that you shall ‘Reign’ by the God’s Light…

Revelation 22:3-5 (NIV)

No longer will there be any curse.(A) The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him.(B) They will see his face,(C) and his name will be on their foreheads.(D) There will be no more night.(E) They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light.(F) And they will reign for ever and ever.(G)

John 15:15

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

Revelation 22:12

“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.

Are you ready to keep the greatest appointment in your life?

Text: Hebrews 9:27
Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,

Commentary: In a discussion about the return of our Lord, one would say…”I can’t wait. I wish it was in half an hour”. What would be your response? Are you ready for that meeting? The answer given above would be a positive answer showing preparedness to meet our Lord.  But the ‘I can’t wait’ approach could be a selfish approach. Why? We are like passengers on the sinking Titanic, and headed for the lifeboat and ignoring the family members and others that we can lead to the Lifeboat?  If we have not been praying. Reaching out to others, then we are just thinking of oneself.

Why fly First-Class? Some may say, this is a snobbish category of flyers… But there are distinct advantages flying in the forward cabin, such as:

  • First to board
  • Sitting in the front rows not after all the noise and the person coughing ahead of you
  • Getting on board first to access the overhead bins
  • And also, first to leave the plane.

Why are we not our own?  The Bible said we are not our own; just as it is said “I chose you so that you might bear fruit, and these fruits will ‘Last’ and being His whatever we ask in His name He (Our Father ) will give us.  We are His to bring others to Him, the use of ‘Fruit’ is a metaphor of bringing others to Christ.

Romans 8: 1 lays out the same scenario like a first-class ticker… Because our Lord said…

Life Through the Spirit

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you[a] free from the law of sin and death.

This means that those in Christ will not be waiting in line for the Judgment, just like the First-Class amenities, we will have priority boarding because our Lord said, where He is there will those who are in Him will be caught up in the air…….. Our Lord has reserved a First-Class ticket for each of us… receive yours today by coming to Jesus, He is waiting to welcome you.

Victory in Jesus1 John 5:3-4 (NKJV)

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our[a] faith.

1 John 5:3-4  (NKJV)

Prayer: Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Lord and Savior… Lord today as we present Your Good News we seek Your Divine guidance and we claim Victory in Your Holy Name. Lord be with our Visitors as You have said that whoever calls on Your Name Lord shall be saved. Lord today we look to Your eminent return let us all be prepared by forgiving others as You have forgiven us of our trespasses. Lord we pray with confidence that in You Lord, if we ask anything according to Your Will, You will hear us, and we know that You are faithful and that You will never leave us nor forsake us. We pray this in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday:  August 15, 2017

Know this… You will never be ashamed… Jesus aid, we will never be ashamed in Trusting Him…

Romans 10:11

As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”

Romans 1:16 [Full Chapter]

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Mark 8:38

If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.” In Context |

John 8:51

Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death.” In Context |

The most famous of all times is our Lord Jesus, and everyone will get to meet Him, as on the day that is known as “The Day of the Lord’ Jesus will return and His presence will be seen from the East to the West.

Scoffer over the years have said… I have heard of the return of our Lord, and still we haven’t seen Him…. Peter the Apostle addressed this and Peter’s description of the Day of our Lord is so precise, we thought it was good to post the Text from Peter’s letter.

2 Peter 3: 3- 18; 3 Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.  4 They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”  5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water.  6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.  7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the Day of Judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord, a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.  9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

This is how everyone will know when Jesus returns…

The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
Acts 2:19-21 (in Context) Acts 2 (Whole Chapter)

Principle:  Philippians 3:20 New International Version (NIV)

To know the Lord is key, to know of him is like shopping with a ‘wish-list’ but not making a commitment. But when you know Him you can join in and say… Thank You Jesus Christ for Your mercies…

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Mark 13:20  “If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them. Mark 13:19-21 (in Context) Mark 13 (Whole Chapter)

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Job 1:21 New International Version (NIV)

“Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart.
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.”

Conclusion:

On the day of the Lord, there will be no lines for celebrities, as there are no Hierarchy in the presence of our Lord.  However, there will be a special line for those that are described in Romans 8: 1…

Romans 8 New International Version (NIV)

Life Through the Spirit

8 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

Come to Christ Jesus today, and we can make the statement below, by having His assurance. (Go to our Green Pasture Page, click on the Tab above, and come to our Lord Jesus now)

Thoughts for Today…

God makes us strong through life’s challenges, and because of His faithfulness He will take you through the hardest of times.

Job 23:10 New International Version (NIV)

10 But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come. Lord Jesus Sovereign Eternal God in One of the Father Lord we come and we acknowledge Your Covenant and Word are forever. Lord, as Peter said a Day is like a thousand years, but Lord we know that Your imminent return will be like a ’thief in the night’ and we are ready Lord. Lord let our Visitors be ready too Lord. We thank you for the privilege of serving You for Your Glory and Your Kingdom, Lord bless us all as we seek Your Divine Grace and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday August 14,2017

Just in time…:     He is always Just in Time… Never Late, Jesus will get it done on time, not before, but in time.

For sure He is Just in time… having the personal experience of surviving a commercial airline ‘Near-Miss that was a true just in time. When you are able look at the face of the pilot flying directly at us, it would be 5 seconds before the oncoming jet would T-bone our jet. We took a dive and the oncoming jet whizzed by probably missing us by Inches.

This is my testimony of Jesus being there just in time. On Thursday, we will be talking about ‘You are here for a reason’… so, we must take the time to know why we are here. On Saturday, we will be talking about spending our assets wisely.

Our time belongs to the Lord, the time granted us cannot be purchased it is only granted by the Lord.

Jesus’ return will be ‘Just in Time’ while there are many end time speculation, the upcoming total eclipse the multiple asteroids doing near or not too near flyby, and the talk of Planet-X, etc. all these are speculation. Jesus said... only the Father knows, but Jesus is one with the Father, and He will be coming in glory.

While the conspiracy theorists are declaring September 23rd as the day earth will end. So, what are we doing about this? It is business as usual on a global scale, and today if Jesus returned mankind would seek to crucify Him again. But, His return will be seen from the east to the west,

This time when the Lord returns, He will not be wearing sandals, and John’s description of the Lord of the White horse will be more than a stallion. As described in….

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so, we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.

So, Jesus will appear Just in Time, and we who are redeemed by His Blood will be taken away just in time, as earth will be left bare.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.  Revelation 3:19-21 (in Context) Revelation 3 (Whole Chapter)

Hebrews 3:15

While it is said, “Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as when they provoked Me.”

Hebrews 3:14-16 (in Context) Hebrews 3 (Whole Chapter)

John 10:10  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:9-11 (in Context) John 10 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, Ephesians 3:19-21 (in Context) Ephesians 3 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

2 Peter 1:11 for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.2 Peter 1:10-12 (in Context) 2 Peter 1 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that 2,017 years ago when You came to earth, You came so that we will have life and have it more abundantly. Lord we thank You for Your Covenant of Grace, and it is by Your Grace that we are saved.  Lord thank You for bringing the Visitors to this site, as we are privileged to serve You and all for Your Glory Lord. Receive it today… Get the Peace that defies fear, what do you fear?  Be relieved instantly… find out more here…

Peace is watching the game and our team is down three points with 2 minutes to end of game, but we already knew the answer, we won, keeping calm and waiting for the moment of victory is what we should do.

In real life, as we come to the crossroads of destiny, is it the left turn, or the right turn or go straight ahead? Just like knowing that we already won, keep calm by having the ‘Assurance’ of Christ Jesus.

Just as how he told the thief on the cross…” Today you will be in Paradise with me” He told us all…

Jesus said…

John 14:2

The Caveat ‘If’ did not mean that He did not go, what He meant is ‘If’ you were included in the list that He was going to prepare a place for.  He did go, but He wasn’t going to prepare a place for everyone.

So, how do we know if He was preparing a place for you and us?

Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— In Context | Full Chapter |

He is Faithful…. John 3: 16 is probably the first scripture verse that we would learn in Sunday’s school… ‘For God so loved the world’, this short verse is so complete in a ‘Story of God’s Love and His Assurance.  Yet the simplicity of this ‘One-liner’ may have saved more sinners those other verses in the bible. Just like the favorite chorus… ‘Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so’-

Jesus said we are to come to him with the faith of a child.  A child’s trust is such an act of innocence; this is how the Savior said we are to approach Him.  During our Lord’s 33 years on earth, His walk with the Disciples were always on friendly cordial terms, no time ever did our Lord placed them in a ‘Me’ – ‘they’ situation, He referred to them as ‘Friends’ and as Joint Heirs, the human trace of ‘Familiarity breeds contempt’ has always been with us humans, but we must remind ourselves that Jesus is Supreme, and is God in One, and no one has ever seen God, except Him, and as Jesus said, “If you have seen me you have seen the Father”

Psalm 33:4
For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does.
Psalm 33:3-5 (in Context) Psalm 33 (Whole Chapter)

While our Lord is Faithful and loving and is Forgiving, He is also a God of ‘Consuming Fire’ as there will be an expiration of His Grace. Grace is defined as “UN-Merited” and is something that is not earned, therefore we need to know that His Fair-Warning is also to be respected as in due course of time, (which we never know when) ‘The Day of the Lord’ will come, or when we will be taken from this world.

To receive His Peace, come to Christ today, just as you are…

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name, I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus name we come, Lord Jesus today as we seek Your Guidance and Your divine Providence in our lives, Lord let us be led by Your Holy Spirit.  Lord we look to that day in Faith, when You appear we shall see You as You are, and we shall be transformed in the twinkling of an eye. Lord Your Word said, In You dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and we are complete in You Lord Jesus, and You are the head of all principalities and Power. Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your favors as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Shielded by Grace through this life to eternal safety… how can this be?  Find out more here…

Thoughts for the Day: Where is Moses? If he did not get to Canaan, where is he?  Was Paul exposed to Heaven?

TOPIC:  "The Battle Hymn of The Republic"

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord

He is trampling out the vintage

Where the grapes of wrath are stored

He has loosed the fateful lightening

Of His terrible swift sword

His truth is marching on

I have seen him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps

They have builded him an altar

In the evening dews and damps

I can read his righteous sentence

By the dim and flaring lamps

His day is marching on

Good News: You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4: 3

TEXT: 1 Peter 1:7

New King James Version (NKJV)

that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

Moses was on the top of mount Pisgah looking across to Canaan around 1406 BC, Deuteronomy 3:27 New King James Version (NKJV)

Therefore, Moses was not left in the wilderness nor did he cross over to Canaan. But He did descend with Elijah to be present at the Transfiguration.   The Bible stated that Elijah ascended to heaven on a ‘Flaming-Chariot’. So, when the Lord said to Moses he should not go to the Promised Land, God had a better plan for him, he was taken directly to heaven.

The apostle Paul when he spoke of; 2 Corinthians 12:2 New King James Version (NKJV)

I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a one was caught up to the third heaven. Is this statement of Paul’s disclosure of his journey to have met Christ?

God’s Army…

You’re in the Army now… Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Paul and many others were the nucleus of God’s army. We need an army to counter the evil one. Let no one tell you that we can take it easy, why? Because the devil is on the prowl seeking to devour those that he can. This not a myth, the need to be armed with the Word and be suited in the armor of our Lord to thwart the fiery arrows of the evil one is a constant battle. So, open your heart and invite the Lord Jesus in and His Holy Spirit will protect you and keep you.

Oneness in Christ… or are we doing it ritualistically?  Worship in Reverence and Love for our Lord and not just to ask Him for favors.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savor we come… Lord Jesus today as you intercede for us we are coming knowing that You Lord Jesus is the only Mediator between us and the Father… Lord we thank You and we go with Your assurance that all who calls on You Lord will be saved.  Lord we ask Your Blessings on our Visitors and seek Your Divine providence to us all as we go with Your Peace that surpasses our understanding.  To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Be in FAITH… Being in Faith is to ‘Surrender’ but not waving the white flag of defeat but the Flag of Victory…

“We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.”

― Winston S. Churchill

`As the Will of God is in Heaven, even so let it be.’ - Winston Churchill

United we stand secure. Let us then move forward together in discharge of our mission and our duty, fearing God and nothing else.’ — Winston Churchill

“You leave out God, and you substitute the devil.”

— Winston Churchill

Steps to Victory – Surrender to the Lord…

  1. Communicate with Jesus
  2. Follow His Instructions
  3. Serve Him
  4. Resist the Evil forces
  5. Turn away from things that are not from our Lord
  6. Yield to the Holy Spirit
  7. Trust the Lord
  8. He will provide a way and a solution
  9. His Way is always the Right-Way
  10. What our Lord is giving you is not a temporary answer
  11. His Answers is Eternal, and it will be with you forever
  12. He will never let me be ashamed in Trusting Him
  13. He will provide all my Needs according to His Riches
  14. His Riches is not this world, His riches are our Faith in Him
  15. He loves us so much He Even Died for me
  16. He provided a Way that I can come to Him
  17. Without His Forgiveness and His Grace, I cannot come into His Kingdom
  18. His Redemption is not a ritual, His Redemption is a Sacrifice for my Sins
  19. Without His Blood of Atonement, I cannot come to God only though Jesus, so He has provided a Seal of Life through His Resurrection
  20. The Good News is that He died to save Sinners like me and you

Action / Coming to our Lord:

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter)

Why do we need to ask God if He knows our needs?  Find out more …

Matthew 9: Jesus Heals the Blind and the Mute

27 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”(AG)

28 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”

Why did Jesus asked then if they believe He could heal them?  Because without ‘Faith’ no one can please Him.

Jesus already knew that their petition of healing was requested by the blind men, but He want5ed to hear it from them as replied… “Yes, Lord,” they replied.(AH)

29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”;(AI) 30 and their sight was restored.

So, when we ask the Lord, even before we ask He knows our needs, but He wants us to trust that what we asked will be received.

Mark 11:24 Jesus said this…

Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

To be repetitive asking the Lord for the same thing, repeatedly, this displays a lack of Faith…

Rather be ‘Thankful’ and give the Lord Your Praises for His Mercies.

The following is well-circulated anecdote…

ON BEING THANKFUL

Lord, thank you for this sink of dirty dishes; we have plenty of food to eat. Thank you for this pile of dirty, stinky laundry; we have plenty of clothes to wear,

AND: I would like to thank you Lord for those unmade beds, they were so warm and comfortable last night, I know many have no bed.

My thanks to you, Lord, for bathroom, complete with all the splattered, messy, soggy, grimy towels and dirty lavatory, they are so convenient.

Thank you for this finger-smudged refrigerator that needs defrosting so badly, it has served us faithfully for many years, it is full of cold drinks and enough leftovers for two or three meals.

Thank you. Lord, for this oven that absolutely must be clean today, it has baked so many things over the years.

The whole family is grateful for that tall grass that needs mowing, the lawn that needs raking, we all enjoy the yard.

Thank you. Lord, even far that slamming screen door; my kids are healthy and able to run and play.

Lord, the presence of all these awaiting me says You have richly blessed my family', I shall do them cheerfully, and I shall do them gratefully.  Even I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm rings, thank you, Lord; that I can hear.  Many are deaf. Even though I keep my eyes closed against the morning light as long as possible, Thank you. Lord that I can see. There are many who are blind.

Even though the routine of my Job is often monotonous, thank you. Lord, for the opportunity to work. There are many, who have no job.

Even I grumble and bemoan my fate from day to day and wish my circumstances were not so modest, thank you. Lord, for life…  Anon.

FOCUS:  Time is precious, once lost it can never be regained. Live at the moment while looking to Jesus

TEXT: Romans 8:28 [Full Chapter]

Lord bless our Visitors and grant every one Your providence as we know You know our needs even before we ask or even think it.  Lord we thank You knowing that You will lead us in triumph in You our Sovereign Eternal God. Share this…  If you have the good News why not share it, if you have the cure for the most dreaded decease you must tell others…

Imagine, having the cure for cancer and not telling anyone?   Guess what?  you have more than the cure of cancer, you have the ultimate cure…

Sharing your faith is good, but to some people, your own conviction is really your own.  Sharing the plight of other then sharing your faith is a very good approach to spreading the Good News.  Many times, we may ask, how are you? And not wait for an answer, the person replied with the same question.  This is becoming more a greeting rather than a concern for others.  Obviously, the person you just asked, will ask you the same question.  So, what have we accomplished? We might as well just have said… ‘hello, good to see you again’.

How about a greeting like this…? What a lovely day to share the Good News… All things are possible in Christ Jesus, and He is ready to do what he came to do for you.  There may be a pause and a question, what could that be?

Even on a day that it is raining, it could be… What a lovely shower of rain, or even on a bleak day, you could say the overcast is cooling down this hot summer day.  There’s always a ‘silver-lining’ behind every cloud, and an opportunity to share the Good News of the Gospel.

What is the Gospel, it is the Good News of Christ’ Redemption.  It is the Good News of Jesus’ Resurrection, it is the Good News of Salvation through His Grace.  By the mercies of God, the Lord went beyond the consequence of Sin, as God did say… Eat of this three and you will surely die…

Because God did say… Genesis 2:17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” In Context | Full Chapter |

God sent His Sone Jesus to reverse His edict of death, because He loves us so much, Christ Jesus came to die so that we may live by His Grace…

Natural healing from great tasting fruits from our Lord.  The side effects of some pharmaceutical medicine can cause you more harm than good.

Text: Genesis 1:29

And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.

Commentary:   Have you ever stopped to think why God placed man in a Garden with Fruit trees?  While Scriptures said all things provided by our Lord are edible, the emphasis was on Fruit. Even the cakes baked with Figs etc. were prized more than meat, but meat was part of the diet as planned by our Creator.

Acts 10: Peter’s Vision - “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”

About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof(L) to pray. 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance.(M) 11 He saw heaven opened(N) and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners.12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. 13 Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.”

14 “Surely not, Lord!”(O) Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.”(P)

15 The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”(Q)

Heavenly Father we come acknowledging that through Jesus Your Son and our Redeemer we are neither Jews not Gentile but Children of Yours.  Lord today we thank Youi for the privilege of serving for Your Glory.  Bless our Visitors Lord and grant us all Your favors, as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Are you lost in the maze of life? Finding you way, try helping someone and you will be amazed…

How helping others benefited the helper… the launch of a product starts by engaging an advertising company launching a website, attending trade shows, Etc.

Never give up, keep trying, but lean not on your own understanding…

Some of the big names that found their way through the Maze, but the real Maze to conquer is when we know Christ…

Jeff Bezos – AMAZON®

Amazon is one of the biggest success stories of the online era. But before Amazon became a household name, the company’s CEO had several failed ideas. One of the most notable was an online auction site, which evolved into zShops, a brand that ultimately failed. Still, CEO Jeff Bezos would repurpose the idea into what would eventually become the Amazon Marketplace.

Fred Smith – FedEx®

Though we all know now that FedEx is a viable business model, Smith’s college professor disagreed. The future venture capitalist received a poor grade on an assignment where he pitched the idea for the company.

Akio Morita – SONY ®

Back in the early days of Sony, Morita’s products weren’t quite as popular or well-known as they are today. In fact, the first product was a rice cooker that ended up burning rice.

Vera Wang ®

The famous fashion designer wasn’t always known for her high-end wedding gowns. In fact, Wang was once a figure skater. But she failed to make the U.S. Olympic figure skating team. She then moved on to work for Vogue, but was turned down for the editor-in-chief position before leaving to become a designer.

Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank – The HOME DEPOT ®

Before founding The Home Depot, Marcus and Blank were officers at Handy Dan, a California based home center chain. They were both fired in 1978 for allegedly allowing the creation of a fund that was misused.

Milton Hershey – HERSHEY Chocolates®

Hershey’s is one of the most recognized names in chocolate. But before founding the company, Milton Hershey was fired from his apprenticeship with a printer. And then he tried to start three different candy companies, all of which failed, before starting the Lancaster Caramel Company and the Hershey Company that made his sweet confection a household name.

Today let’s find our way out of the Maze of this world, Jesus said, “Follow Him” … Jesus’ mission was to bring His Redemption to us, and He said we are to go and tell others of His Graciousness.

Because when we spread His Fragrance we get some on us…

2 Corinthians 2:14

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.  In Context | Full Chapter |

If you want happiness for an hour -- take a nap.

If you want happiness for a day -- go fishing.

If you want happiness for a month -- get married.

If you want happiness for a year -- inherit a fortune.

Jesus’ great commission… Mark 16: 14-15

The Great Commission

14 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

Always open…  No appointment needed, a place where no one wants to leave, where’s this?

The caption above describes a place no one wants to leave, but there’s a place where everyone would like to leave because of an orchestrated human tragedy by it leaders, and we say leadership in plurality… read on;

Today as we start the week, let us reflect upon a nation Venezuela…  With greater oil reserves than Saudi Arabia, Venezuela should be at least moderately prosperous. Instead, it has the world’s fastest contracting economy, the second highest murder rate, inflation heading towards 1,000% and shortages of food and medicine that have pushed the poorest members of its 30 million population to the edge of a humanitarian abyss.

More than a third of the children in Venezuela suffer from malnutrition.

We said leader(s) because Venezuela has lost its sovereignty, a nation controlled by outside forces.  Venezuela has been ‘Hijacked’ by another regime that did the same to their county by making a sham of democracy.

Today we pray for the people of Venezuela and ask the Lord to pour-down His Holy Spirt upon this nation and turn to Him, because when they do, Greater is He then than the leaders exploiting the country.  Lord heal their land, you have done this before and we ask this in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus… Amen.

Let us focus on a Place where no one wants to leave…

The Place… We are describing the Splendor of what Revelation revealed as…

Revelation 21:  18 The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. 19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.

Getting there… No appointment necessary, but how do I get there?

There is an appointment and this is with the Lord, because only through Him we can get there.

Devotionals for Sunday:  August 6, 2017

Focus:    Lean not on your own understanding… Seek God’s guidance, it all from Him and He wants the best for you.

TOPIC:    ‘We are invited to open the box that contains the most advanced weapon system’

TEXT:                       EPHESIANS 6:  Verse 14:

  • Stand firm then, with:
  • The belt of truth buckled around your waist,
  • With the breastplate of righteousness in place,
  • With your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
  • Take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
  • Take the helmet of salvation
  • The sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Commentary:

You have just read the instruction manual enclosed in the box that contains the six essential all powerful armaments ever delivered to mankind. Guess what? Money cannot buy it, so the enemies cannot own it; only those on the ‘Same’ side can be equipped, so the Forces of God’s Army are the most formidable Army. The word Army is derived from being Armed and can deploy the Arms. Yes, we have Powers given by our Loving God for our protection. But we must be Inducted, Trained and be Equipped, learn how at the end of this presentation.

Our routine must be our Daily Devotion of reading the Word of God, speaking to our Lord and Savior, and asking for His divine guidance, dedicate the day in His name and make it a day of Praising our Lord for His mercies and His favors and thank our Lord for His Graciousness of Life here and Life in the Great beyond, which we cannot imagine the splendor.

Start the day with the Helmet of Salvation... The-Powerful components in these six pieces or armaments are:

  1. TRUTH:
  2. RIGHTEOUSNESS
  3. FAITH
  4. SALVATION
  5. PEACE
  6. THE HOLY SPIRIT

Imagine with these Six pieces of HIS Weapon, we are more powerful that the most advance weapon system made by man. We will be Powered by Truth, shielded from any attack, Shielded and be invisible to the enemy, and be able to fire the most advanced weapon which is HIS WORD, a flameless Divine Laser that is Super-Natural, powered by HIS HOLY SPIRIT.

HIS Promise:

Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV)

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Can we imagine the Almighty God, Creator and Messiah, issuing a plea like above, notice HE said “ I AM GENTLE and HUMBLE, and even went on to say… HE will go easy on us; as “His burden is light”. WHAT LOVE HE OFFERS….

Action / Coming to our Lord:

Coming to our Lord requires no invitation, just say the words…Yes, I am ready Lord, and arm me by Your Grace, so I can do all Things in You Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior…

How to be accepted, Trained and be Equipped…

Come to our Lord Jesus and asked to be Saved by His Grace, Confess that you are a Sinner, as we are all sinners, and He will forgive you.

Ask that His Holy Spirit be in you, as all Believers are made a ‘New Creation’ and the Power of God will resonate through you as you will experience His Gift of Life.

Walk with our Lord Jesus, as all relationships must be nurtured, ask Jesus to lead you and to open your eyes and learn His WORD, Study the Bible, join a Bible Study* group, attend a Bible Based Church* grow in His Grace and victory in Christ Jesus.

Principle:

Nothing we do as ‘Good’ works can earn our way to heaven, as Jesus is the only way and by His Redemption and not of anything we do even what we call Good

Prayer

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus our Divine Sovereign Eternal God in One of the Father and our Creator, we thank You Lord for your Blessings and Your Saving Grace. Do this… Maintain a steady course through these ‘choppy-waters’ stay the course guided by Jesus…

Jesus said… John 8:12

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” In Context | Full Chapter |

How strong is your faith?

TEXT: Matthew 14: 28 Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” 29 And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!”31 Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and *said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” 32 When they got into the boat, the wind stopped. 33 And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “You are certainly God’s Son!”

Commentary: The saying… ‘Keep your eyes on the Doughnut and not the hole’ this American saying is telling us focus on what counts.  The ‘hole’ is nothing, it is the Doughnut that counts.  Peter was looking at the waves and not looking at Jesus.  Keep our eyes focused on Jesus; He is the Light of the World.

In life we do the same, we worry about the 'What-Ifs' and not where we are. ‘Today’ is what counts, none of us knows what tomorrow will bring. But we have the ‘Assurance’ of our Lord Jesus that He said... “I came that you may have life and have it more abundantly” 2 Peter 1:3-4 New International Version (NIV)

Confirming One’s Calling and Election

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

God’s endowment to us all… Do not worry.

Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

The ‘Choppy-Water’

2 Timothy 3

New International Version (NIV)

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.

Rest assured… We do have the Victory in Christ as you will read below, separating us from the travails of the times described by Paul.

What a Privilege that our Lord has given us… For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the orld, even our faith. - 1 John 5:4

Conclusion:

There are many events in the Bible where God rendered His ‘Cure’ for mankind… Saving the city of Ninevah by sending Jonah is an example. As we saw, Jonah knew of the “Cure” for the Wrath of Sin… and he relented and did not want to render to the Ninevites, but the Lord made sure that Jonah went and the city was reprieved from the impending destruction.

In the event of Noah and the Ark, While Noah knew that he was commanded to build this big vessel (ARK) he was focused on this and the ‘Cure’ for sins in Noah’s time was not his responsibility, but the Lord’s. We all know the outcome of this event, God destroyed everyone except for Noah, his families and the beast of the earth that were paired and brought into the Ark.

Prayer:

Father we thank You today in Jesus name. Jesus Messiah, we come and Praise You our Sovereign God in One of our Father our Creator and thank you Lord for Your Divine Redemption. Lord just as Jonah relented and was directed to render to the Ninevites Your Salvation. We go forth today bringing Your Good News to the worldwide web Lord we thank You for this privilege, and we ask Your Divine Blessing to our visitors of this Website and Lord grant You favors to

Beware… Do not let evil be imprinted in your mind. Your eyes are the aperture capturing the scene.

\What is your constant ‘struggle’?  Is it financial need, is it Health, is it relationship, or lust against the Spirit?

Text: Galatians 5:17 (NKJV)

17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

Commentary: The apostle Paul wrote about this constant struggle…  Romans 7: 14-25

For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. 16 If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. 17 But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. 19 For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. 20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.

21 I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. 22 For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!

"Faith is one of the most effective tools in the human equipment. I believe that faith works." … BY Henry Ford

Wealth, like happiness, is never attained when sought after directly. It comes as a by-product of providing a useful service. By Henry Ford.

Henry Ford also said… "The Bible does not need advertising by me, but I wish more people could be persuaded to read it. Perhaps if they had been, we should not have this war on our hands. For greed and idleness brought it on."

What is God saying about the accumulation of wealth…? Be a good steward.

Now for the best and greatest of all Quotes…
Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.

Coming to the Lord:

March 12: 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’[e] This is the first commandment.[f] 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[g] There is no other commandment greater than these.”

His Faithfulness:

Galatians 2:16 New International Version (NIV)

16 know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I accept in faith that You came and died for my sins and by Your Blood of Atonement offered for me, my Lord I accept You and by Your Grace I am saved knowing that it is only by Your Blood that my sins are washed away, and by Your Grace extended to me that I can look to You my Savior knowing that one day I shall see You and be brought into Your Kingdom where there shall be no more sin no more pain and be filled with the Joy of Your Holy presence my Lord and Savior.  I commit my life and my soul to You my Lord Jesus and expect to spend eternity with You my Lord, I accept Your divine saving Grace now and pray this in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, Amen.

Beware… Do not depend on untrustworthy individuals, always test the spirit, measure twice and cut once…

:    Why did God say “do not be unequally yoked” being Yoked is a system that places two animal to haul the load, so why? Being unequally yoked is a factor. These are example of being unequally-yoked…

  1. Do not pair a Horse with a donkey to haul the cart
  2. Do not work with someone that lacks faith, because he will not be patient to see the result
  3. Do not plant a Rose with a tomato plant, because the thorn from the rose will damage the tomato
  4. Do not mix aggressive fishes with your Koi, they will eat the Koi
  5. Do not place a Hair-dryer near splashing water or use it while in the tub.
  6. Do not place a magnet on top of your laptop or your computer

TEXT:  2 Corinthians 6:14 [Full Chapter]

Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?

So be aligned with those believing in… One God and One true destiny now and forevermore.  God never looks at the temporary things, because all things will pass, and to man a lifetime is a lot of time. But in God’s time He is Eternal and there is no time; God referred to man’s life like the grass and, grass grows for a season.

The true difference is the believer in faith knows that whatever the Will of the Lord is what we should do, and the believer is dependent of the Lord for His mercies and His guidance and in faith seeks the Lord and his endeavors are always dedicated to the Lord.

EVENING:

The Love of Christ:

Today in life, are we doing the same as the scoffers, asking ‘Faithless’ question of our Lord?  Our Lord knows what we have need of even before we ask, but sometimes His favors will not be granted as He also knows that when we receive the request, it will not be used for a good purposes.  Or simply put… He knows that to enrich some of us we will become too boastful or be taken by the sudden gain and look away from Him.

Pride comes before destruction, and in many cases we that are susceptible to self-exaltation will go this route of destruction because of ‘Pride’ without ‘good-intention’  many are kept on the lean side as it keeps  them humble and our Lord loves a humble and honest person. This does not mean that as a believer we are to remain poor and always in need, on the contrary, those that are ‘good stewards’ will be enriched just like the parable of the Talent. We saw that the faithful servant that doubled the Talent of his master how he was given more, and the unfaithful servant that buried the talent (Money) rather than invested it, returned it to his master without any gain, the Faithful servant was given what the unfaithful one had.

Matthew 25:17

In the same manner the one who had received the two talents gained two more.

Matthew 25:16-18 (in Context) Matthew 25 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion:

As we explore the Bible we find that it is all about Jesus (Yeshua) and we find that His teaching is founded on Faith, Love and Obedience anchored by His Righteousness.  Our Lord granted His Righteousness to us and thus, we are debtors to Him and He is our Creditor… We owe it all to our Lord, which we can never repay, as His Righteousness cannot be bought. He bought us with His Blood, and by His Blood we have the Seal of His Divine Redemption.  What a Privilege He gave us, and not only did He save us; He made us Joint Heir with Him to His Kingdom.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

John 10:27-29 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of our Father/Creator in Your Holy Trinity, we Praise You today for Your Majestic Power, and yet Your Unconditional Love prevails for us.  Lord Your Graciousness is overwhelming as Your Mercy we have and Your Grace is sufficient for us as we look to you for Your divine guidance.  Lord bless this mission of presenting Your Good News for Your Glory and bless our Visitors. Lord grant us Your favors and equip us to expand this mission that we are privileged to be a vessel bearing Your Word of Your Divine Salvation. Devotionals for Wednesday: August 2nd, 2017

The Treasure in Jars of Clay… 2 Corinthians 4:7-9 What’s your treasure?

Is it your talent, your wealth, or is it wisdom? It could be your spouse or your children? How about the Lord as your treasure? Yesterday we said do not do like king Hezekiah, first know your enemy, avoid predators and seek the armor of God.

Your treasure are not the earthly things that you own, these are just ‘things’ just like the Buddha stone statue, it cannot speak, nor can you get a response from it. Your treasure is the Holy Spirit from the Lord.

Mark 8:36-38 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”

Jesus was saying do not keep His message of salvation hidden in a Jar…

Finding your most precious treasure today, it is hidden in plain sight. Jesus said…

1 Corinthians 1:18-19 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”

1 Corinthians 2:9-16 However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.

This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. End of text.

Let us thank the Lord who chose you and knew you even before you were born… He knows you, but do you know Him?

Knowing that God knows you, it is like the President or the King knowing you, so what? The earthly king may know you but to you individually he may not do anything, unless to recognize you for something you might have done for him or some heroic actions. Our Lord did not wait for your heroic action to be rendered, He, by Grace gave you the most precious treasure, even when you did not deserve it.

Only by God’s Grace…

Ephesians 2:1-10 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. End of text.

Revelation 3:11

Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. In Context | Full Chapter |

Today let us share the privileges granted by our Lord…

  • Jesus said we are no longer servants, we are His ‘Friends’
  • We are more than Conquerors
  • We are “Heirs’ to His Kingdom

Prayer: Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come, Lord Jesus knowing that You are God in One of our Father and Creator, we come and thank You for Your Saving Grace, and in Faith we accept Your Good News of Your Salvation. Lord Jesus thank You for coming and by Your Blood shed for us at Calvary, we are saved with Your Seal of Salvation. Thank You Lord for Your Grace as we look to You for Your Holy Spirit to guide us in this challenging world that You have conquered. Lord bless our Visitors, to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore…Amen.

Never do what King Hezekiah did, keep your treasures hidden from predators… 2 Kings 20:12-14

2 Kings 20:14

Then Isaiah the prophet went to King Hezekiah, and said to him, “What did these men say, and from where did they come to you?” So Hezekiah said, “They came from a far country, from Babylon.” In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

2 Kings 20:15

And he said, “What have they seen in your house?” So Hezekiah answered, “They have seen all that is in my house; there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.” In Context | Full Chapter |

A classic example of ‘Greater is God in us than them’…. 2 Kings 32-35

The warning to defect… Spoken to Hezekiah’s Army Genera by the Syriansl:

But do not listen to Hezekiah, lest he persuade you, saying, “The Lord will deliver us.” 33 Has any of the gods of the nations at all delivered its land from the hand of the king of Assyria? 34 Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim and Hena and Ivah? Indeed, have they delivered Samaria from my hand? 35 Who among all the gods of the lands have delivered their countries from my hand, that the Lord should deliver Jerusalem from my hand?’

The foregoing statement is parallel to what Goliath the Philistine giant said to David… we all know what happened to Goliath.

Hezekiah prayed… 2 Kings 18: 20 Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘Because you have prayed to Me against Sennacherib king of Assyria, I have heard.’

21 This is the word which the Lord has spoken concerning him:

God’s protection provided… (Because you prayed)

32 “Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria:

‘He shall not come into this city,
Nor shoot an arrow there,
Nor come before it with shield,
Nor build a siege mound against it.
33 By the way that he came,
By the same shall he return;
And he shall not come into this city,’
Says the Lord.
34 ‘For I will defend this city, to save it
For My own sake and for My servant David’s sake.’”

Sennacherib’s Defeat and Death.

Never blaspheme against the Lord, the Syrians did, and here’s what happened… The Angel of the Lord defeated the Syrians…

35 And it came to pass on a certain night that the angel[i] of the Lord went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians one hundred and eighty-five thousand; and when people arose early in the morning, there were the corpses—all dead. 36 So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed and went away, returned home, and remained at Nineveh. 37 Now it came to pass, as he was worshiping in the temple of Nisroch his god, that his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer struck him down with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat. Then Esarhaddon his son reigned in his place.

Hezekiah’s Life Extended

2 Kings 20:6 New King James Version (NKJV)

6 “And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.”

So, when things appear to be gloomy, do not panic, not despair, just do as Hezekiah did…  God’s protection provided… (Because you prayed)

32 “Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria:

‘He shall not come into this city,
Nor shoot an arrow there,

Today, The Lord (Jesus) is the same yesterday just as what He did for Hezekiah, He can do for you and me, all we must do is Pray…

Lesson here… Hezekiah had no deceit in his heart, even when he showed the Syrian envoy the treasures, it was not a boasting, it was done in a friendly gesture of hospitality. But the Syrian’s ulterior motive was greed.  The Lord knew the heart of Hezekiah and in humility before the Lord, his request was heard.  And… the Lord will hear you at this moment.

Prayer: Lord Jesus in Your Holy Presence we come.  Lord we thank You for Your graciousness to Hezekiah, and Lord we know Your mercies abound and we will receive Your providence and we thank You Lord for our Visitors as we all go in faith. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.
