Devotionals for Saturday: December 30, 2017

          Restoration… what would you restore if you had the opportunity? Make a wise choice and ask Jesus…

Many will be making New Year’s Resolutions, usually they are not kept. Here’s another new year that we can all start-over.  Let’s make a wise choice, we suggest going to the Lord and ask Him to guide you, and His choice when received will never be broken.

Remember… Wealth makes many friends, But the poor is separated from his friend. |Proverbs 19:4

We all have ‘Friends’ they are of varying degrees, and some are rated as ‘True’ friends and some are ‘Fair-weather’ friends.  The passage above describes the type of friend listed above.

As the writer I can say I do have ‘True-Friends; and some otherwise.  But cherish the ‘True’ friends and nurture the relationships.  The Bible said… Proverbs 18:24

And, pray for the ‘Otherwise’

A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Choices….  From Proverbs 2:

So, you may walk in the way of goodness,

And keep to the paths of righteousness.

21 For the upright will dwell in the land,

And the blameless will remain in it;

22 But the wicked will be cut off from the earth,

Conclusion:  What is the biggest fear in our lives? Probably the biggest fear is the ultimate of all events... Death, but fortunately we who are born again do not have anything to fear as this is the ‘Sweet-Beginning’ of a life in splendor in a sanctified place with our Lord.

With this assurance we have His great command… Mark 16: 15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Philippians 1:6 (NIV)

6. being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus †

Fear comes in all forms; the fear of Nicodemus was of his fellow peers. Here was a man high in the hierarchy of his Jewish society; his fear was that he would be seen by his peers coming to Jesus, so he came in the night to Jesus. Nicodemus was a leader among the Pharisee, he knew that Jesus was a teacher sent by God. Jesus led him to be born again. Many sought Jesus, and many were of influence, so when we say “wise men still seek Him’ be among the wise and Seek our Lord today.

Our society is more stressful than any other time since the event of 9-11 the dark clouds just won’t go away for many that are living with the fear of being attacked in many foreign lands. We read about Christians being killed while in church and at bible study, and the extremists claiming ‘victory’. Their so called ‘victory’ will be greeted by the vengeance of God.  The day of our Lord will declare an end to the violence against His people.  For those Christians killed we count as martyrs for Christ, just like Stephen who was stoned to death, but while he was dying he was transitioning to his Lord Jesus who greeted him.

Because our God gave us the power to overcome the fear… 2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Hebrews 13:6

So, we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus because You said no one comes to the Father unless through You, Lord we thank You for this privilege of being able to come in Your Holy presence.  Lord we come in Faith and we in Faith accept Your Grace and by Your Holy Spirit we are renewed, and Re-admitted as Joint Heirs. Lord bless our visitors to this Good News Website and let Your messages be clear and that Your Word will reach many for Your Glory Lord, as we are Your Vessel to bring the message of Your Salvation. Lord we pray that all who seek solace and peace may find You and that they will come and be children of Yours. Devotionals for Friday:   December 29, 2017

Is your Destination unknown? but know that your destination to a kingdom can be charted today.

History provided us with many people that had a destination in mind, but they ended up is another place.

Christopher Columbus for sure thought he was headed to Asia, but he landed in the Caribbean.

Jonah who was told to go to Nineveh diverted and ended up in the belly of a whale.

Abraham was sent by God to a place unknown, but he went in faith trusting the Lord.

Lot sought out a place with city lights and he found it… it turned out to be Sodom and Gomorrah.

Everyone on earth is a ‘transplant’ and more specifically in the USA.  The Chinese visited the west and landed on the continent we now call the USA. The Native American Indians’ DNA shows Eurasian origin, and as the several centuries of racial mix, today we have almost five million native American Indians.

One thing for sure, earth is not our final destination.  Unless, that person was never enlightened, meaning never having the Light…

John 8:12

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” In Context | Full Chapter 

Let’s clarify of ‘never being enlightened’, since 2017 the year of Christ’s birth, the world and most people know of Jesus, why? Because our calendar runs on the AD meaning after the Birth of Christ. Unless a person lives in the jungle and never heard that the year is 2017, then this is a person that may never had the opportunity to hear of Jesus’s birth.

So, those who have heard of Jesus’ birthdate ‘Christmas’ are within the world-community knowing the meaning of Christmas.  This doesn’t mean that such a person is ‘enlightened’ because someone must tell him why Christ came.  Remember the Ethiopian reading the book of Isaiah about the prophecy of Christ…

Isaiah 53:4

Surely, He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. In Context | Full Chapter

Philip’s used the opportunity and it changed the destination of the Ethiopian, leading him to Christ.

Acts 8:

So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?”

31 And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him. 32 The place in the Scripture which he read was this:

“He was led as a sheep to the slaughter;
And as a lamb before its shearer is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
33 In His humiliation His justice was taken away,
And who will declare His generation?
For His life is taken from the earth.”

34 So the eunuch answered Philip and said, “I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?” 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. 36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?”

37 Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.”

Devotionals for Thursday:  December 28th, 2017

Know this…     The equation of higher power… Grace + Faith = Divine Power, a force that cannot be broken…

With this formula it is greater than Einstein’s theory of E=mc2.  Grace+ Faith is Divine, and this is quantum Mechanics at the utmost level.  Because God created Divine Physics that is not a ‘theory’ it is a proven principle.

Therefore, while Einstein laid out his theory, God Divine Power is factual.

The proof of principle is taking the theory to the Thesis, God wrote the Thesis… and His version is final.

Romans 8:35

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

God’s Divine Power cannot be broken as Scripture said…

God’s Everlasting Love:

Unbreakable Power…

Romans 8:39

Why do we have challenges in our daily lives? Is there a force that likes to impede our progress?

Focus:  The closer you get to the Lord the hard the devil will try to interfere with your walk with God…

What is the goal in your life? Are you getting closer? Are you facing a moving goal-post?

Thoughts for the day:  In live it seem like we are trying to hit moving targets, Only Jesus never changes.

Commentary:

Our Lord Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow… Today you can come to Him just like the blind or the leper who came to Jesus and asked to be healed.  Sometimes when we ask for healing, we do not get it, but He gives instead something far greater.  We spoke of Stephen who looked up and saw Jesus standing at the Right-Hand of the Father, and Jesus did not offer to save Stephen, but instead He was welcoming Stephen Home.

Come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him… Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit myself to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Closing Prayer Hebrews 13: 20-21 20-21 God has raised from death our Lord Jesus, who is the Great Shepherd of the sheep as the result of His blood, by which the eternal covenant is sealed. May the God of peace provide you with every good thing you need in order to do His will, and may He, through Jesus Christ, do in us what pleases Him. And to Christ be the glory forever and ever! Amen.

Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord we thank You for Your Divine Grace and we thank You for Your love and the privilege of serving You Lord for Your Glory.  To You Lord Jesus we go in faith and as we bring Your message of the Good News we thank You for our Visitors, bless us all as we Praise You Lord. Imagine being…    Enlightened by the Humbleness of a King. A King of kings that knows you by your name…Amazing!

Not only is Jesus the King of kings. Yeshua/Jesus came on the first day, as God said… “Let there be Light” and there was Light.  Jesus is the True-Light…

John 1:9

That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. 

You may say how can God know you by name, because you and everyone of us have a common name…  ‘Sinner’ Yet He will call you by your real name, because He formed you…

Jeremiah 1:5

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

The scripture above addressed Jeremiah, but it also applies to you and us… Because Jesus gave you and us His Great Commission; Mark 16: 15  And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

He said He will never leave us nor forsake us…

Hebrews 13:5

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Jesus’ statement has a precursor… ‘Let our conduct be without covetousness’ He was saying don’t worry about who you will address, it could be the richest person living in a mansion, do not grudge him for his wealth and status, because this rich person may be a poor as a church mouse. (A church mouse lives in a place with an empty pantry).

We are privileged, you and us who are ‘Enlightened’ by our Lord, and His enlightening will guide you to His Mansion in His Kingdom, so do not look at the worldly mansion as they are all temporary.

2 Corinthians 4:18 

while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

A glimpse of His Kingdom…

Revelation 22:2

In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 

Isaiah 55:1

An Invitation to Abundant Life] “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.

Without God all is lost, the Bible said, when the Gospel is preached in all the land then shall the end comes.

Matthew 24:14

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.  

For as long as you have been around, it is the belief that the text above about when the ‘End’ will come, is subject to every living soul must be reached with the Gospel before The Lord returns… We want to point out that the ‘Gospel’ is the Key Element of this text, and what is the Gospel?  Read on…

The gospel is the good news about what Jesus Christ has done to reconcile sinners to God. Here’s the whole story:

  1. The one and only God, who is holy, made us in his image to know him (Gen. 1:26-28).
  2. But we sinned and cut ourselves off from him (Gen. 3Rom. 3:23).
  3. In his great love, God sent his Son Jesus to come as king and rescue his people from their enemies—most significantly their own sin (Ps. 2Luke 1:67-79).
  4. Jesus established his kingdom by acting as both a mediating priest and a priestly sacrifice—he live a perfect life and died on the cross, thus fulfilling the law himself and taking on himself the punishment for the sins of many (Mark 10:45John 1:14Heb. 7:26Rom. 3:21-265:12-21); then he rose again from the dead, showing that God accepted his sacrifice and that God’s wrath against us had been exhausted (Acts 2:24Rom. 4:25).
  5. He now calls us to repent of our sins and trust in Christ alone for our forgiveness (Acts 17:30John 1:12). If we repent of our sins and trust in Christ, we are born again into a new life, an eternal life with God (John 3:16).

Ephesians 2:8

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

Principle: Make Jesus preeminent in your life and all things will fall into place…

Prayer: Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus in awe we come knowing that all things were created by You as The Father Spoke and You acted in His Holy Spirit. Lord today we come to You seeking Your Divine Blessings and Your guidance, as we say that Your Hands are ‘Over’ us, as You Lord do not need help, so we place all things in Your Hands and look to You knowing that all things are possible for those who trust in You Lord. Get the Higher Power…exponential power is given from Jesus, receive it today.

Jesus received from His Father the Power as He read in the Temple…

Luke 4:18 New King James Version (NKJV)

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,[
a]
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;

The Holy Spirit is the exponential Power from God the Father, just as Jesus said…

 

John 14:16 New King James Version (NKJV)

16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—

To comprehend the Gospel without the Holy Spirit there will be scales covering our eyes making it impossible for us to comprehend the message of the Good News of Christ’s redemption.

So, as Jesus ascended, the Holy Spirit descended revealing His salvation, on the day of Pentecost.

On that day Peter received the exponent Power as he spoke and 5,000 came to Christ.

The Day of Pentecost that occurred 40 day after Easter.

The Three most important events ever for the human race, are: The Birth of Christ, the Crucifixion of Christ and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Today, we all can receive His Exponential Power… to be filled with His Light.

Because Jesus is Light, and He came that we may have His Light…

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Prayer is the ‘Pillar of Faith’ and coming to our Lord many times each day will strengthen us against the temptation, and He will make a way for us to overcome the wiles of the devil. Praise our Lord Jesus for He said…” Greater is He in you that who is in this world” meaning by His Spirit in You can do all things through Him, Christ Jesus.

So, as we are given His Light, He said…

Matthew 5: 12-16 AMP

12 Be glad and supremely joyful, for your reward in heaven is great (strong and intense), for in this same way people persecuted the prophets who were before you. [II Chron. 36:16.]

13 You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.

14 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

 15 Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.

Conclusion:

What is Man that our God is so concerned with our wellbeing? He created us, He numbered our days, and He also made a way for us to be in Eternity with Him.  Because the Eden Restored will be sinless and pure not because we are capable of being good on our own, He died for our sin, and He has prepared a ‘Sanctified’ Place which is Sinless, and we humans will be Transformed, and be in a place of Splendor where our Eternal Sovereign God will radiate His Love and His Holy Spirit that will abide in us will in keep us in Harmony with our Lord.

Prayer:

Father we come today in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that You are the Light of the World, and that on the first day, as our Creator said…”Let there be light” and there was light, Lord we also read that our Creator did not create the Sun until the fourth day, so therefore Lord, it was Your Divine Radiance that illuminated the darkness. Lord we thank you for Your Love and we are privileged to serve You knowing that You are the same yesterday and forever. Lord bless our Visitors to this Website, grant Your Favors to all Lord, as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen

Devotionals for Monday… Christmas Day December 25th, 2017

 Merry Christmas to All

Matthew 17:2 New King James Version

and He was transfigured before them…

His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.

Today we are presenting Jesus not in the manger, but rather, we are presenting Jesus the Christ who is God Emanuel.

And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him… 

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. But Jesus came and touched them and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid.” When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.

So, 2,017 years ago, Christ came as a man, but He was affirmed by the Father… “This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” 

Lord Jesus today, we Hear You, and we yield to You Lord.  Lord there’s no other but You Lord Jesus as declared by Thomas…

John 20:28

And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”

Lord as this day is set aside to thank You for coming, and to know the reason for Your coming, and through Your Sacrifice at Calvary 1,984 years ago, we are redeemed by Your Blood. So, today we proclaim to all… That You my Lord Jesus my Redeemer Lives…

The Deity of Jesus Christ

1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Commentary:

One of the first creation… God said…”Let there be light and there was Light” but He did not yet created the Sun, there was a diffusion of Light in a Gaseous form, but God declared let there be Light and then He said it was Good…

If the Sun was not yet created what was the source of this Light?  We must first look at John 1. In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Now we see the Light that God Declared...” Let there be Light” This will be revealed as we go to chapter 9… 9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Colossians 1: The Incomparable Christ

13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His Beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.

Father we come today in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that You are the Light of the World, and that on the first day, as our Creator said…”Let there be light” and there was light, so therefore Lord, it was Your Divine Radiance that illuminated the darkness. Sunday:      Mary and Joseph had no reservation at the Inn, because Jesus had to be born in the manger

Today is Christmas Eve.  Imagine the anticipation of Christmas Morn…

The kids are asleep and ‘Santa’ is laying out the presents, the kids are anxious for daybreak. Sitting around the tree opening presents.  What a serene setting of Joy.

2,017 years ago, the scene was far different.  Joseph and Mary had just travelled with Mary about to give birth riding on a donkey, arriving in Bethlehem only to be told there is no room inside the Inn, but they could use the stable.

The birth of Jesus, a Divine Miracle. There was no doctor, no maternity amenities, Our King born without any provision of even bedding.  Jesus the King of kings laid in the feeding trough.

 Today as we share the plight of Mary knowing mothers are protective of their child, and having to be in a stable was not just inappropriate but to be among the animals and whatever else is found in a stable.

On the flip-side of who Jesus is, and back then when He came into this world, He could have arrived just as how He ascended back to Heaven.

The Priceless-Gift of Grace and Redemption should be listed on the top of the list.  It is freely given, and it is forever.

Commentary:

Jesus our Lord and Savior came to reconcile us to the Father our Creator, but before we can come to the Father we had to be cleansed by His Blood.  Soldiers returning from the frontline of battle were usually covered with blood sustained in battle, before going in front of the King they had to be cleaned up and made presentable. Mankind is in this state with stains from our sins. Therefore, God will not see us in our sin filled state. Thus, Jesus came to Redeem us, ‘Redeem’ means we were lost in Sin, and by the Redemption through Jesus we who have accepted His Redemption can now come into the presence of God through Jesus.

This Christmas, meaning ‘CHRIST’ The Anointed One; Jesus son of the Most-High came as God with us! Emanuel, and CHRISTMAS… Meaning; CHRIST saving the Masses and Christ-in-Person… We thank You Lord for coming, Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of the Holy Trinity; we look for Your second coming soon.

But we do not have to fear the ‘Day of the Lord’ when earth will be laid ‘Bare’, because He said… Matthew 24:31

Can we imagine the reunion of Mary with her Son Jesus? Yes, there is a reunion for us all who heard the Good News, and as Jesus said to Nicodemus… “You must be Born-Again”, this was such an enigma to Nicodemus then, and to many this is also a puzzle.

Paul the Apostle wrote about this and in his writing in… Romans 8  (NKJV)

Free from Indwelling Sin

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

In the fullness of Time, Jesus then sent from the Father the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, as He, Jesus became our High Priest being our Mediator to the Father. So, today as we affirm…

11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you

Commentary:

So, by His (The Father) assurance, Who raised Christ from the dead, and through Jesus, He will also give life to our mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in us all, when the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you.

The entire event of Christ’s journey to earth is for one reason…

John 10:10  The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Why did Jesus preface His statement of the reason why He came? Because through His Crucifixion and Resurrection He conquered the chief ‘thief’; (the devil)

Life and Judgment Are Through the Son] “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

      The Joy of Christmas is only a fore-taste of the future... the best is yet to come.                                     

The grass is always greener on the other side…  If you had one wish what would your wish for?

Text: Paul said this… Philippians 4: 12-13   12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Commentary: The human mind fueled by our instinct to conquer and pursue excellence is an in-born trait controlled by our natural instinct. 

If we had one wish, what would you wish for? Each of us has a different wish list…For the average teen the wish would be to own the most awesome car and grow up to be an Internet tycoon.

I read about a little girl that came to Santa, and Santa said ‘Little girl what would you like for Christmas? The shy little girl said I would like my mom to get well. Each of our priority is different; a little boy when asked by Santa what he wanted for Christmas, this 7-year-old said, I wish that my Dad will find a job, as we are in need. 

Life is a challenge for many including the conscientious children in our society.  Today many in our nation are being pushed to the brink… To these hard-pressed the ‘Grass is greener’ everywhere other than where they are.  Our Lord made us with His design of us being in a Garden of plenty, but the sin of Adam and Eve changed all this, can be blame Adam for the hardship of these kids? Yes and no; we who are favored should reach out to the needy, and if not, then we are the one to be blamed.

He (Our God) gets the First Fruit…

Preface: Read the text below as it is a ‘Refreshing’ piece written by Timothy that was not an apostle, Timothy was an assistant to Paul, and he was based at the church in Ephesus handling many assignments given him by Paul including writing these pastoral Letters while Paul travelled the regions.

You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer. Similarly, anyone who competes as an athlete does not receive the victor’s crown except by competing according to the rules. The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops. Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.

Commentary:

The Intelligent Design of our Creator is unmatched by any thing that we as mankind ever ‘made’… We really haven’t ‘Made’ anything that is not from a derivative of what God has provided to us.  Can we name any revolutionary invention that man has created, made or even designed? Could it be the simple Microwave oven? Air conditioning? The Hubble Telescope? Or any of our latest Jet Fighters? Nope… none of these are derived from all things mad-made… needless to mention food, water or any of our daily essentials, nothing that we consume are derived from an all things man-made product.  Could it be Electricity? No, our bodies are electrically charged as our Heart has electricity that keep our systems running. Needless to mention the Trillion Volts Electrical Storms we see most afternoon, or even when the naked eyes do not see these lightning flashes in the blaring Sun.

So, again we say Merry ChristMas as Christ came for the Masses.

Prayer:

Lord God, my Heavenly Father Creator of Heaven and Earth, in Jesus our Redeemer we come. Lord Jesus today we stand in Your Holy presence seeking a closer walk with You Lord. Lord grant to us wisdom to understand your teaching and lead our Visitors and us all to Green Pastures and Still Waters. Lord we bring to You the needs of many that are hurting and those that are seeking solace in You Lord, as You are the Shining Beacon that our Father declared on the first day of His Creation, when He said, “Let there be Light” and there was light, as You our Lord Jesus was there from the beginning of it all. To many of us all the above would apply plus adding one key factor: The Assurance of our Lord’s Redemption.

TEXT:  The Parable of the Hidden Treasure Matthew 13: 44

44 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

Commentary:  Let us remind ourselves how time is fleeting by, the month of January is almost half-gone. Jesus spent 33 years on earth leaving a legacy larger than any other person in history. Recently I was reflecting back on the age of a Bonsai tree that is approximately 12 inches tall that I planted 35 years ago. Considering that this little tree if it was not in a ‘restricted’ growing environment this Banyan tree could be over 30 feet tall with a span of a 24” trunk.

Jesus talked about the ‘Mustard’ seed that is no larger then the dot of the period on this page. He said how this little seed could grow into a tree that birds would roost in the branches.  Jesus compared this Mustard-Seed to the Kingdom of Heaven. Our Lord spoke of Faith… and He said …

Through this broadcast and this photograph, I think we can begin to taste the kind spiritual experience astronauts must have as they travel to distances, and perspectives, so few have known.As John Glenn said, "To look out at this kind of creation out here and not believe in God is to me impossible. ... It just strengthens my faith. I wish there were words to describe what it's like."

Remember…      As we shop and spend, let us remember those who are in need…

The Airforce Academy Band, staged a Christmas special, and they had a little girl with a poster… saying; ”Please help me” she was ignored by the crown of shoppers in the mall, but one lady stopped, the little girl said ‘Follow-me’ as the little girl led her to a group, they started to serenade the lady who stopped to help the little girl.

The real person that got helped was the lady as she was overwhelmed by the greeting and serenading received for her act of kindness to the little girl.

Jesus taught about kindness…

Matthew 25:

The Son of Man Will Judge the Nations

31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

Commentary:   Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking:  “ASK” Luke 11: 9-12

“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

While you offer the Lord the First-Fruit, yet He will allow you to eat it… because it is not the Fruit, it is your gift in Reference of Him, know that all things are from Him. He doesn’t need the fruit, He needs your love and adoration knowing that He is our source of all, our Lord is Light, and as we come to Him we are renewed and His ‘Light’ is in us.

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

So, as Jesus lighted the way for us to come to Him, let us reflect His Light leading others to Him.

Be humble so that you will not be humbled… being humbled means that you were humiliated to bring you to humility. So before getting this treatment, start by being sincerely humble.  Arrogance always caused downfall, History has proved this, no one ever sustained arrogance, check the biographies of all famous fallen leaders and you will see a pattern of arrogance.

Check the biographies of leaders like Dwight Moody, Billy Graham, and Dawson Trotman (Navigators) you will see a distinctive pattern of dedication to the Lord.

These men shared the Good News of Knowing Christ and making Him Known…

31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

Principle:  We can never be good enough to enter the Kingdom of God, but He loved us so much that He extended His Grace, and His Grace is Sufficient for us.

Commentary:

It is good to know that no one will enter the kingdom of God on their own, if this was so things would be about the same as here. If someone could enter God’s Kingdom on their own then we might as well just stay here, because we would have to put up with the bragging of how that person got to enter on his own.  Therefore, rest assured that only as Jesus said… ‘You must be Born-Again’.  In fact, Jesus said ‘Unless” you are born-again you shall not enter. Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

Jesus said...John 3:7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus because you said no one comes to the Father unless through You, Lord we thank You for this privilege of being able to come in Your Holy presence.  Lord we come in Faith and in Faith accept Your Grace and by Your Holy Spirit we are renewed, and Re-admitted as Joint Heirs. Come and buy without money… “If all it took was money anyone could do it”

Commentary:

Ready to have a wonderful weekend?  The TGIF slogan of Thank God, it’s a Friday, the end of the week … Phil 4:13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.  Happy Monday!

Jesus said… Matthew 10: 30, 32, 33   And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 32 “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.

Stop to think… Looking up and Thanking our Father, that He chose us and you because He has a mission for us all… and before the Creation of the World He Chose Jesus to Redeem us and to be made Holy and Blameless in His Sight… How Gracious is our God, Jesus our Messiah, Thank You Father in Jesus name… Amen.

His Promise:

As we step out in Faith today, let us take the baton and run to the finish line knowing that our Lord and Savior who is the Author and Finisher of our Faith is there waiting to award His Priceless Gift.

What a privilege our Lord has given us, this is far more valuable that all Olympic Gold Medals as the Olympic Gold is worth only $620.70 each. Imagine being CO-HEIR with Jesus?  Yes, and this is already confirmed, not just something we wish for and have to earn, it is already given to us, all we have to do is to receive it. There are no Judges, no dispute or can anyone contest it, as it is GIVEN by The Almighty!

“HIS GRACE IS GRANTED TO US THROUGH HIS CRUCIFIXION AND RESURRECTION AT CALVARY” HE IS OFFERING HIS PRICELESS GIFT OF SALVATION TO US, IT IS GIVEN BY HIS UNCONDITONAL LOVE.

Factoid…     Finding Peace in a world that is turning into a place of conflicts, it’s still there

Thoughts for the day… We all have heard of ‘The Greatest Story ever told’.  An all-star, large scale epic film that chronicles the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.

We wish to put this on record that it was not the greatest ‘Story’ because the ‘Virgin birth of Jesus’ was not a story…

The birth of Jesus was… THE GREATEST ‘Event’ ever to unfold.

And guest what? It is still the greatest event in history since 2017 years ago when God Emanuel came as a man. So, today we are privileged to bring His Good News of His Redemption.

Many may wonder why did Jesus had to come… it was because of one-man sin that we all are born with that blemish called ‘Sin’ (The man Adam) but through the love of God He redeemed us…

The Grace of God is still there, find it today.

2 Corinthians 2: 8-9

To many of our readers this message may be ‘Old stuff’ but to many around the world they are hearing of this great event and the reason why Jesus or the first time, and the reason why ‘The Christ’ came. So let us share this Good News with as many as possible.

As modern humanity discovers new technology, we need to remind our selves that the great Americans Space program after several failed attempts. It was after the secrets were revealed from the Bible, subsequently NASA was formed. Today we have advanced weapon systems, stemming from the particle beam lasers, the deployment of Laser-Cannon is still rudimentary compared to the ‘Shout! That brought down the wall of Jericho.

So, the Divine Virgin Birth has never been repeated because there is only one Messiah, and He is Jesus the King of kings and Lord of lords.

So, as we draw close to Christ-MAS day, we want to reiterate the reason for Christ coming… Jesus came as a man as The Christ, and Christ came to save the Masses, therefore we have this acronym of Christmas, a day like no other day.

Scholars and many are trying to determine the exact date of Christ’s Birth, was it 2 or 4 BC tied to Herod who died in 4 BC, and thus, this could be the year Christ was born.  Nevertheless, the fact is; Christ came, and whether we mark the calendar at year zero when Jesus was born, the fact is he was born of a Virgin Birth.

So, the year 2017 marking the beginning of our calendar we accept as our contemporary calendar. And Officially we will recognize Christmas day December 25th,2017 as CHRISTMAS DAY.

The knowledge of man is finite, and God is Infinite, we think we know everything, but we are just like a little colony of ants, wait till earth shakes, then all including the atheist are all aware that ‘The God’ is in control.  Guess what? we know that God, and He is Jesus our Lord, because He has grafted us into the union of His, making us all One in Him, so there are neither Jews or Gentiles to be in His Kingdom.

If life we have on earth was all we had to look forward to, then whats the use?  You can have all the wealth, all the toys, but come that ripe old age all this will be left behind; and what?  But we know the end, as Jesus said…

Revelation 21:5

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” In Context | Full Chapter

Bring good news, even if you are to announce bad news, always bring hope

Text: 1 John 5:14-15 Amplified Bible (AMP)

14 And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us.

15 And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.

Commentary: The prayers of great men were mostly done in times of impending peril.  History reflected even a prayer to have good weather so that the war can be mobilized to defeat the enemy.

Life is not a bed of roses…

We saw Jacob taking the Patriarchal blessing from Esau when he deceived his father Isaac, by claiming to be Esau…  On the lighter side of life, we read about the rich man who had in his will that all his money was to be buried with him, at his funeral his attorney asked how much money it was? And he was told ‘about a million’ so the attorney wrote a check and took the cash and said; “put the check in the grave, it is good as cash” … Now this deceased person’s last wish was ‘sort of’ fulfilled, or was ‘his’ cash high-jacked?

Life is not a bed of roses, and fortunately so…. As Rose bushes are full of thorns. Now Rose petals are soft, but they only last a few days. Just like money it last only for a while, unless we have more incoming.  The only lasting thing that we can have ‘forever’ is the Grace of our Lord. Nothing else stays around. Without money one loses most of their friends, and those we lose are not friends indeed, so when it starts to rain all ‘fair-weather’ friends will go, and those that we have true-fellowship will be still around. Our Lord said… “I will never leave you nor forsake you”

The old saying… God moves in a mysterious way… To man it is mysterious, but to God it is a ‘Divine’ way.  Many instances in life when someone suffers a tragedy one would ask, where was God? When Stephen was stoned to death, why did God not save him? Stephen looked up and saw Jesus with open arms welcoming him home.  Now, would it be better for Stephen to be protected from the rocks and remained alive?  Or was it better for our Lord to receive him home and give him a place of splendor.  I can imagine, that our Lord was saying… look at those fools, they are fighting and killing each other for what? To gain what? To dominate their fellow men for what? Therefore, Jesus said… “Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing”

Talking about what is the best thing we can hope for? Did you know that many Lotto winners that won millions reverted to poverty? In fact, there is a person than won $5.2 Million and now lives in a trailer and on welfare.  What does this tell us?  Unless the Lord builds it, it will not last.

Psalm 127:1

[Laboring and Prospering with the LORD] Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.

In our daily lives, we are bombarded by the world’s distraction via, Print, electronic (TV-Internet) radio, etc. the apostle Paul in the text above was merely saying “I am a man, and I am susceptible to the temptations”.  To be tempted is not a sin, but to partake in the temptation and enter into an act of complicity is a sin.  The constant battle with the forces of temptation is not regulated to our bodies, it is our mind, so be mindful of our imaginations that we are not led astray. 

Our Lord Jesus who was tempted by the devil never partook of the temptation, He overcame the wiles of the devil with the Word of God…  So, there is a way for us to deal with this universal problem which is:

Ephesians 2:8

For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgmentand made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord Jesus as our Mediator we acknowledge that unless we come through You no one comes to the Father. Lord we thank You as we stand in Faith acknowledging Your Grace; and we affirm that it is only by Your Grace that we are saved and not of anything we do. Lord we thank you for Your divine redemption.  Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Favors as we seek You and give You first place in our lives. Lord we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our sovereign eternal God in One of the Father in Your Holy Trinity. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Be aware…   Never go to the head of the table, wait to be seated, your host will seat you

Luke 14:8

“When you are invited by anyone to a wedding feast, do not sit down in the best place, lest one more honorable than you be invited by him; and he who invited you and he come and say to you, ‘Give place to this man,’ and then you begin with shame to take the lowest place.

Luke 14: 7-11

10 But when you are invited, go and sit down in the lowest place, so that when he who invited you comes he may say to you, ‘Friend, go up higher.’ Then you will have glory in the presence of those who sit at the table with you. 11 For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Commentary:

God created man, while He created us He made us free-thinkers.  When we look at the trait of man, we sometimes say ‘what a clever move’?  Herod was a paranoid individual, as a king, he was also a tyrant. So, hearing of Jesus’ birth he instantly became jealous of the Threat from the new born King.  His move to kill all newborn Male children just to ‘eliminate’ Jesus. His plan was a futile move.  God was in charge and He is still in charge.

The Wisemen figured out the intent of Herod and out-smarted Herod, so he took a radical approach to commit mass murder.  Could such a person wield his power today?  Yes, there are still sovereign nations with rulers doing the same thing just to preserve their stronghold on the nation they govern.

The return of the Lord will displace them all and more, and there will be Peace.  The constant threat inflicted towards Israel will also be futile as the Lord Said…” No Weapons formed against His people will prosper”

Jesus our Messiah the Son of the Most-High came and Paid-It-All… We are privileged to receive His ‘Priceless-Gift’ of His Redemption.

This Christmas we are spreading the Good-News of His Love for us, and 2012 years ago our Lord Jesus was born in a Manger in Bethlehem, which we will call Christmas Version 1.  But Christmas Version 2 is coming, as this same Jesus will return, and His return will not be like Version 1, His coming will be seen from the East to the West. Not even the plans of another ‘Herod’ could stand in His way.

Yes, the power of our Lord has always been with Him, as He said He could have called a thousand leagues of Angels to stop the procedures of His crucifixion at Calvary, but He came to die for us, and He willingly went to the cross and Paid It-All. 

Principle: The Power of our Lord is displayed in His Love for us.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

We can come to our Lord knowing…

Hebrews 4:15-16

Conclusion:

Remember the best Gift we can give this year to anyone, especially to our children is to remind them that all the presents will be be in the trash or on the shelves, but your Love will last forever, and that the real reason why we have Christmas is because God loves us so much that He sent Jesus, The Christ.   So, Christmas will always be filled with JOY because He came to Redeem us.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus as we go through the trials and challenges of this world Lord, we look back 2017 years ago when Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem and had to settle for a stable where You were born my Lord. Lord Jesus we are humbled and humiliated to think that You our Lord had to be born in a stable. Lord if only the innkeeper knew that he was hosting a King and a Lord of lords, Lord we look up to You our Sovereign Eternal God, Your strength was covered by Your Humbleness and mankind has demonstrated our weakness by exalting ourselves while You the Most High allowed us to ultimately realize that we can do nothing and in all things, we need You Lord. Lord bless our Visitors and grant each one Your Peace and for this season of celebrating Your Coming Lord, we give You the Glory and Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Know this…  The Great I Am… how did God deal with those that claimed to be ‘the greatest’

First there is only One ‘Great’ “I AM” and HE is The Almighty.

Whenever a mere human claimed to be Great, he is cut down to the size of how God sees this person.

Humility and Humbleness are similar, but quite the contrary, different in stance, why? Because humbleness is an inherent trait, humility is when one is humbled by being humiliated.

Going over the edge like what the once famous boxer Cassius Clay used to say… “I am the greatest” guess what? This person lived out his life in a body as an invalid, barely able to speak and totally humbled by God.

So, becoming bold is not an offense to God, but to be self-elevated through actions that are considered conceited, and offensive, then such a stance sets up the person for a fall.

God does not want us to be an invalid, but He wants us to prosper. This is a fact, as Jesus said… He came to give us life and to give us a more abundant life.

So, in this world Jesus will give you life, and in the world to come Jesus will give you a ‘More Abundant’ life.

There are steps we must take in Life, to get your driver’s license you must go and step in front of a camera and then you will get the license, to know Christ, we must come to Him, and to receive His promise of a ‘more abundant life’ we must invite Him into our lives.

Yes, we are all sinners, but through His Grace we have His Pardon. But know this we are still sinners living under Grace, and being under grace we through His Holy Spirit will be guided to abide in Him. And when you know Him and received a Him, Jesus is our Mediator to the Father as He is now our ADVOCATE through His Divine Resurrection we have been Redeemed. Yet until that day when we are in His Holy Presence, the total Transformation will take place by Sanctification when there will be no more Sin.

So as Jesus said... be Holy for He Is Holy, avoid the temptation, keep focusing on Jesus. Lean not on your own understanding, as the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Mark 14:38 (NKJV)

38 Watch and pray, lest you enter temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

His Grace abounds…

Grace is available, but His Redemption is not received by ‘Default’ we have to come and receive it

Not because of God’s Grace and His Redemption through His Forbearance, it does notmean we should continue to ‘Willfully’ Sin. But His Word said… because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished, The Key WORD is ’Beforehand to remain unpunished’. So, one ‘Enlightened and Redeemed” let us strive to be holy, but His Grace abounds as we are still a ‘recovering sinner’

Jesus came to fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.

 When He returns He will not be wearing Sandals and wearing a white robe, He will be returning as described in Ezekiel 1 in full Power 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.

 Why would God present His Own Son as a sacrifice of atonement and how can you express your gratitude for such great love?

 Jesus bore my Sins, and Isaiah 53 said it all, by His Stripes (these are not stripe of ranks, they were from the beating Jesus suffered for me in my place. What a Savior who love me and you so much that He paid it all, even unto to death, but though His Redemption we have Victory.

Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow;

Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.

As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord today as we affirm Your Divine Grace and Your love for us all as You are calling each and everyone to come and buy gold and to buy food without money as You have provided it all. Lord we say that there is no need for gold as Your Kingdom is built with streets of gold as it is not made by human hands.  Lord we bring You our Visitors and we are encouraged by those who seek Your Good News and we are privileged to serve You. We pray in Your Holy Name as to you Lord Jesus is the power and the Glory now and forevermore…Amen.

Seek Him and… Walking in the Light… Being enlightened and receiving the Lord, His Light is instilled in you…

MORNING:

Topic: Jesus said He came that we would have life and have it more abundantly…

Commentary: 

Revelation 3:20  

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

Just think how Jesus would bring me great news of what he has prepared for me and to give me insight of what to come? I can imagine that the table setting would be with delicacies of fruits, nectars, fishes, meat and bread.  I can imagine how He would pray over the setting and thank His Father and then feast with me as He prepared only the best.

 

Yes, my Jesus is at your door and He came because He wants to give you Peace, Joy, Hope, His Love, His care and His plan for your life.

Today as we gather with friends and families, thank Him and Praise Him for His Graciousness knowing that it is only by His Grace that you are saved and journeying to His Kingdom, where He has prepared a place for you.

Jesus said…” I am not of this world” what did He mean by this statement? No need to wonder about this.  He ascended to Heaven, but He did not abandon us; He said The Holy Spirit would be with us while He went to His Father. The same Holy Spirit that descended on the day of Pentecost where 5,000 came to Jesus through Peter’s telling them the Good News, this Holy Spirit is with us right now.

Jesus said… “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them”.  Matthew 18: 20.

Jesus said we must have Faith, and Faith is a belief in something unseen, He said if we have faith like a grain of mustard seed, (which is the size of this ‘.’ dot) we can move mountains.  Jesus spoke about mountains, and these are ‘mountains’ in our lives... such as: Health, Finances, Families, Relationships and our love for others like ourselves.

Now His Grace covers a period which is the ‘Gap’ when you are saved and have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we are still sinners but under Grace, and now that you are saved, Jesus will be your Intercessor, as we now have an advocate with Jesus.  So as an enlightened sinner now redeemed, we are like a ‘recovering alcoholic’ that lives by each day to remain sober, so we as an enlightened sinner will do the same, but we have the Holy Spirit that is now with us.  Remembering that it is not what we do that saves us, it is by the ‘Grace’ of God through His Blood.

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Principle: When you know the Lord Jesus He will give you a clean heart, and He will renew your Spirit with a clear mind.

Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.”

Focus:    Our mind should not get worn-out, but our bodies may.  The adage of getting older and wiser should be true and we all should have a pristine mind. Our mind will be part of us when we make that ultimate journey. But man’s mind had an inherent flaw… this is what we inherited…Sin. 

Genetically we all have a heredity trace of certain carrier that carries on the family’s susceptibility to cancer, Alzheimer or some dreadful decease.  But we needn’t worry as each of us are known to our Creator, and He alone will determine our future.

Lord Jesus as we read Your Word of assurance we thank You for Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us… Therefore, Lord for those that are having their loved ones being challenged Your assurance that all must come to You as a little-child, and we say Lord that that are with dementia are reverting to be a child and as said, they will stretch out their hands and another will carry them where they do not wish, as their actions are like a child.  Lord bless those who are care-givers and let the burden be lightened as they come to this message knowing that the best is yet to come, as you have provided a place of splendor for us all.

This is Jesus' own example to have a prize a 'core' we cannot build without the core
Nothing compares with Christ as all other is garbage
By sharing my life with Christ I will become more like Christ
We must share in Christ's sufferings and in his victory

Because Christ has made me his own. Not only will you find Jesus, but He will find you when you come to Him.

Philippians 3:16   Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.

We are to attain a closer walk with Christ by giving him first place in my life: 
By focusing on what I can do for His Glory and let Him work in me for His glory being the righteousness of God. To focus on him and. Grow in him; 
‘Focus on Jesus not on myself’
Change from work to Grace by faith, there’s no substitute for our savior

Approach every day by making Christ preeminent in our lives  

Have a zeal to serve Him, when we can say… I have found a friend in Christ, knowing that…

Jesus Messiah, we thank You for being our Intercessor as we are presented to the Father by Your Righteousness and by Your Blood of Atonement we are saved.  Lord let Your Holy Spirit be indwelling in us as we go in Faith.  Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your favors. Devotionals for Friday:  December 8, 2017

Consider this…. The real meaning of Praise songs, some songs that are like ‘infomercials’ as they do not Praise Him…

Today we have ‘Praise’ songs that address the Lord in a ‘Third-party’ inferences.  An example of this is… ‘My God is mighty.  So, we sing praises as informercials and not to Praise Him.   By inserting ‘You” my God this is now addressing the Lord.

wonder when we get to heaven if any of these ‘infomercial’ type of lyrics will be used.  Because now we are in the presence of the Lord, and it would be improper to say…’my’ God, as this is like ignoring His presence.  So, the words would have to say. .’You my God’.

Maybe this is being a little picky, but without the ‘You’ we are not addressing him, but only telling others, which is not bad, but it is an infomercial. To Praise Him we need to address Him.

Even when we are here on earth, signing a Praise is to Him as He is present when we gather with others.

His Faithfulness:  Today as we gather to worship our Lord we stand reconciled because of His Faithfulness.

EVENING:

What a ‘privilege’ to be represented by Jesus our Lord to the Father…21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— 

Conclusion:

The Text above said… to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— ‘In His sight’ means in the presence of the Father.  Once more we want to mention that Jesus is not a ‘third-party’ in our prayer.  Jesus said…

No one comes to the Father without Him…. So, when we pray He is in our Midst. There are no One to One Prayers, all prayers are made to God the Father in the Trinity.  Jesus is ‘One’ with the Father as God in the Trinity.  Jesus is our Triune God of Father Son and Holy Spirit. Therefore, what a ‘privilege’ to be represented by Jesus our Lord to the Father

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. We thank You for presenting us by Your Righteousness to the Father.  Lord today as we share the Good News Lord let our Visitors be Divinely blessed by Your Grace as we go in Faith. Lord thank You for Your eternal promise of never leaving us nor forsaking us.  We declare You our Redeemer as our Eternal Sovereign God Lord Jesus in the Father Son and Holy Spirit, to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Today is the day declared that would live in infamy… “December 7, 1941 – a date,” President Franklin D. Roosevelt famously proclaimed, “which will live in infamy.”

Commentary: How would you like everyone to deal with you? To be sincere, honest, truthful, and loyal and be respectful, these are the qualities we would seek in a relationship. And in fact, these would be the criteria of hiring a new employee.

Our Creator endowed us with ‘Free-Will’ and gave us ‘Freedom of choice’. In addition to the qualities of; Sincerity, honesty, loyalty and be respectful… the ‘key’ word is: Forgive, and the overriding factor is ‘Love’

Do you think that God allowing us to have ‘Free-will’ was too trusting of humans?  As said, the true-test of man is in dealing with success.  King David went through a phase when he abused his success by putting the husband of Bathsheba to the frontline to be killed. Saul abused his monarchy that made God removed the anointing.  So, gaining the Providence of our Lord comes with great responsibility.

Devotionals for Wednesday:  December 6, 2017

 

Know this…  The Lord will provide all your needs, not what you ‘want’ He will give only if needed, because He knows…

 

Not only will our Lord provide all our needs, but He knows when to have it delivered.  It won’t be before the time, but it will be ‘Just-in-Time’ … Because he wrote the master plan of timing. 

 

The greatest example of ‘On-Time delivery’ was the event of the journey to Canaan.  Precisely on time God would drop the Manna from heaven.  While this was an ‘Organic’ pure and divinely prepared meal. Over a time, the Israelites became complacent and ungrateful.

 

So, while our Lord has met your needs today, let use take a lesson from the event of becoming ungrateful.  If you are still waiting for the Lord’s provision, be patient, He will have it delivered at the right time.  Maybe, why is it late in coming according to your time, if you should receive it, you may use it for the wrong reason.

Commentary

Why did He come to Redeem us?

By one-man Sin entered the world, our Creator was not surprised by Adam & Eve of their falling for the serpent’s temptation. 

Genesis 2: 15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

This is the reason why He came to Redeem us… Because He said, “you will certainly die”, He decreed this…  All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation." –

We who are believers need to do our part as the commission of our Lord was to proclaim His message of; Good News that He Rose Triumphantly and HE is alive on the Throne of Righteousness and He is waiting to receive those that come to Him for His Redemption.

To know Christ… Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. Be ready…          Stand firm fully armored as the evil one works harder as we all move closer to the Lord.

 

God’s Army…

You’re in the Army now… Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Paul and many others were the nucleus of God’s army. We need an army to counter the evil one. Let no one tell you that we can take it easy, why? Because the devil is on the prowl seeking to devour those that he can. This not a myth, the need to be armed with the Word and be suited in the armor of our Lord to thwart the fiery arrows of the evil one is a constant battle.

Acts 4:12

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

The Armor of God EPHESIANS 6:

  6. THE HOLY SPIRIT

Imagine with these four pieces of HIS Weapon, we are more powerful that the most advance weapon system made by man. We will be Powered by Truth, Shielded from any attack, Shielded and be invisible to the enemy, and be able to fire the most advanced weapon which is a HIS WORD, a flameless Divine Laser that is Super-Natural, powered by HIS HOLY SPIRIT.

Now with this Suit of Armor I am ready for battle and can take on the world at large and defend myself and expound the Power of my Majestic God empowered by His Son Jesus that marked me with His SEAL of HIS Blood of Atonement and by His Blood, I am Invincible and in Victory I shall live and in Victory I shall Proclaim Him as HE our Majestic King Jesus Messiah is coming and; with Power and Glory He shall return seen from the East to the West, not riding on a donkey as He did when He made His Triumphant entry on Palm Sunday, but the Clouds will implode and in a Flash He will appear.

Yes, I am ready Lord, and am Armed and by Your Grace I can do all Things in You Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior…

Directions of how to be accepted, Trained and be Equipped…

Come to our Lord Jesus and asked to be Saved by His Grace, Confess that you are a Sinner, as we are all sinners, and He will forgive you. Ask that His Holy Spirit be in you, as all Believers are made a ‘New Creation’ and the Power of God will resonate through you as you will experience His Gift of Life. Note…  Accept the blame even if it is falsely imposed, forgive the person blaming, because he may be the guilty one.

 

The guilty one oftentimes seeks out someone else to blame for their shortcoming. Not to be judgmental here, but there are many instances in life that the guilty one will blame it on someone else.

 

Way back, and this is the first case of passing the buck, Adam said to God... Genesis 3:12

Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”

The Lord did forgive them, and as we see, the first act of God’s mercies…

God made coats of skins from a slain animal.

Genesis 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

The Bible did not specify the type of animal killed for the skins.  The order from God to Moses was to have the Israelites kill n unblemished Lamb and us the blood to mark the Doors of their houses so that the angel of death would Passover the Israelites, and so, will this be for the second and final ‘Passover’ known as the ‘Day of the Lord’

Exodus 12:27

That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the Lord's Passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses.

 

So, gird yourself …

So, stand firm while being blamed for someone else’ mistakes. Just render forgiveness and extend the love of the Lord…

 

We can blame ourselves for more mistakes than anyone blaming us.  So, as we say…’if only we could turn back time’ things would be a whole lot better.

Forgiveness is difficult
Everyone say forgiveness is a good idea until they have something to forgive
The strength to forgive

the source of forgiveness is from faith
So we must increase our faith.


Faith is one of the most enigmatic intangible actions, but it is the key to Power from our Lord.


Faith, Hope, Trust, & Grace are not commonly used word in
Legal documents, these are aligned to the Heavenly realms.


Faith in our Lord is the source of our Power from Him
The power of our Supreme God who spoke the world into Existence can change anything in our lives.


Just ask Jesus to change the abominable things in our lives…


1.  we must make a decision
2. Must understand the need & urgency to give forgiveness
3. You cannot come to Christ unless we have forgiven all
4. You must uproot the barrier to truly forgive others
5. Forgiveness is paying a debt of someone that incurred a debt
6. Forgiveness is to forgive & to forget


 Forgiveness is only real when it is rendered with sincerity Attitude is what makes up sincerity, forgiveness without repentance is false, Love & Forgiveness is the cornerstone of faith.

 

Heavenly Father today through Jesus our Mediator we come.  Lord Jesus we seek forgiveness as we forgive all who trespass against us.  Lord remembering that You forgive and remove our sins as far as the east is from the west and You remember it no more. Lord we thank You for Your Graciousness and by Your Divine Grace we are saved.  Lord bless our Visitors as we thank You for Your Providence upon us all, and in Your Holy Name we pray Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

        Today and everyday,  Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

Commentary:

A book ( Do you sincerely want to be Rich?)  written by an infamous investor that created what he called the Funds of Funds, which was a forerunner to the now standard Mutual Funds investment platform.  This innovator made a lot of money riding on the backs of the most successful Wall Street firms, with some degree of safety due to his formula his method irked the Wall Street power base and the SEC stepped in and drove him off-shore.  In a desperate move to survive, the founder brought in a ‘trusted’ individual that swindled the entity. This individual  was supposed to be the ‘White-Knight’ came to ‘Raid’ instead to rescue. The Rescuer fled to Cuba after gaining control of the assets, he eventually died in Havana... (The Rescuer became a famous Fugitive)

This is a fine example of…

 “What does it profit a man if he gained the whole world but lost his soul?”

The answer to the topic above is Yes… Yes! we can be Rich, in Christ! Riches are not defined by the temporary things we see, it is determined by God in His Economy of Scale, He said …

17 And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.’

Our Gracious Savior Jesus… Messiah, said:  2”But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you” John 14:26.

What did Jesus mean? He will send His Divine Helper, His Holy Spirit that will be our Guide us.  What a privilege that Jesus promised and delivered to those that sought Him, this is the POWER from Him, and not something we can buy nor download from Google® It is only available through Jesus.  Our Lord made a lot of statement that are meaningless to us mere mortals, remember:

1 Corinthians 1:25
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

These statements include:

FAITH

REDEMPTION

GRACE

SANCTIFIED

The applications of the above words mostly apply to the Heavenly Realms.  Jesus our Lord and Savior gave us His secret to Success.  What is this Secret?  He revealed this to us in…

 Matthew 6:33-34

33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Not only was our Lord Jesus giving us the secret to a successful life in HIM, but he also went on to reveal a life of Joy and even some leisure time, as He said, “do not worry about tomorrow”

In the Book of Exodus it states…Exodus 20:3
“ You shall have no other gods before Me.

What does the book of Exodus have to do with us today?  During the Exodus the Israelites were fleeing Egypt to the Promised Land, today we are doing the same, but is not just Egypt, it is the world that has become more vile than the Pharaoh, as almost all are virtually ‘enslaved’ to high interest Credit Cards, Mortgages, Automobile Loans, or debt owed to man. 

His Promise:

The Greatest of all Gifts we can ever receive is His Priceless GIFT.  John 3: 16 is a Bible verse taught to us as a child, and this short narrative is the Whole Gospel of Christ’s Redemption for us all.

16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and savior. In Your Name Lord Jesus, Amen.

Do not look for any ‘New’ Doctrine… all of what we need to know or will ever need are already contained in the Holy Bible. There is no need to add or modify the Word of God.

We cannot trust in ‘Hard work, ’ fame, wealth, physical appearances and worst of all Pride all these can be gone in an instant. Only what’s done in Christ will Last.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and savior we come. Lord Jesus You are on the Throne of Righteousness, and by Your intercession for us all, we seek Your divine Blessings and Guidance.  Lord grant us Your Peace and Your Favors to all including our Visitors as it is for Your Glory.  Lord by Your Power release those from the burdens of this world as You Lord Jesus is Preeminent. Lord let us use this day for Your Glory as we open our hearts to You and receive Your Divine Grace. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Commentary:

One of the first creation… God said…” Let there be light and there was Light” but He did not yet created the Sun, there was a diffusion of Light in a Gaseous form, but God declared let there be Light and then He said it was Good…

If the Sun was not yet created what was the source of this Light?  We must first look at John 1. In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus/Yeshua appeared on day-one…

Father we come today in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that You are the Light of the World, and that on the first day, as our Creator said…”Let there be light” and there was light, Lord we also read that our Creator did not create the Sun until the fourth day, so therefore Lord, it was Your Divine Radiance that illuminated the darkness. Asteroid expected to make closest pass by Earth in over 40 years

A large flying object expected in December has caught NASA's attention, but it isn't Santa Claus' sleigh.

Instead, an asteroid called 3200 Phaethon is projected to come close enough to Earth that it's been classified as "potentially hazardous" by the International Astronomical Union's Minor Planet Center.

The asteroid has a diameter of about 3 miles, according to NASA, making it the third-largest "potentially hazardous" asteroid to pass by Earth.

NASA expects Phaethon to be the closest to Earth on Dec. 16, when it's projected to be more than 6.4 million miles away. That's about 27 times the average distance between Earth and the moon, which is 238,855 miles. 

It will be the closest this asteroid has been to Earth since Dec. 16, 1974, when it was just over 5 million miles away, according to NASA. But humans weren't aware of its presence until later; the asteroid was first discovered in 1983.

While the "potentially hazardous" classification may sound alarming, CBS News space consultant Bill Harwood said there's really no reason to worry about this asteroid hitting Earth.

How will this be? Because when you know Christ and as Jesus said…Born-Again, you are now accepted into His Kingdom…

Life in the Spirit

There is no condemnation now for those who live in union with Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit, which brings us life in union with Christ Jesus, has set me free from the law of sin and death. What the Law could not do, because human nature was weak, God did.
