Devotionals for Saturday 12-31-2016

Celebrating the ‘New-Year’ or is it a relief the old one is over?  The Best is yet to Come…

As we face 2017 let us know that the battle is not ours, it is the Lord’s… So, whatever we see and hear, the thing to know is that God is in Charge.

Sometimes listening to what may be an awful piece of music or singing, at the end there is a loud applause, is it because of the performance or, is the audience happy because it ended?  2016 will be remembered as a year of transition for many.

John 12:23-25 New King James Version (NKJV)

23 But Jesus answered them, saying, “The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. 24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. 2He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life”.

So, let us bury 2016, let it die so that it will reproduce…

Today as we give our Lord the Glory, and as the text above states… “The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified”.  We wish to say that Jesus is the Messiah, and to ‘Glorify’ Him is not enough as we need to know that He Jesus is Lord of lords and is not just the ‘image’ of the unseen God, but Jesus is God in One of the Father.

In worldly terms, the used of the word Gold-plated is a veneer over brass, but Solid Gold is the real thing.  To ‘Glorify’ Jesus we are saying He is the ‘Glory’ as He is solid and He is Supreme and Eternal…

Remember these things:

  • God loves you
  • God cares for you…He said the battle is His, not yours
  • God made a way for you to be a member of His family…
  • You will be a new creation because of His Transformation…
  • You are chosen to ‘Reproduce’, because He has set you ‘Apart’

So, knowing the above, let us walk in the ‘Light’ be bold in revealing the Salvation of our Redeemer.

Jesus asked Peter three time if he loved Him… While Jesus know the heart and He know Peter did, but Jesus wanted to hear it from Peter. So, as we say this with our own lips, this is what our affirmation should be.

John 21:15

Jesus Restores Peter] So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 21:16

He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.” In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 21:17

He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I loveYou.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Commentary:

Our Lord needs nothing from us, except our Love and in exchange for this He offered Ever-Lasting Life.  What a ‘Gift’

Our Lord is a loving God, but He is also a God of a Consuming Fire…  We need to know this; and because He loves us, He wants only the best for us… What is the best? His Grace and His Love, so why is the Bible saying that the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom?  Because to not fear Him and to continue to sin, we are mocking our Lord.  How would you like to be told by someone that you are a good and reliable person, and behind your back this person slanders you and tells everyone the opposite and say that you are no good and you are not trustworthy?

So, to sin and not knowing the retribution of sin promised by the Lord, is the way of a ‘foolish individual.

Our Lord wants a ‘Sincere relationship, and sincerity is achieved only by a true relationship without any infidelity or action that will blemish the relationship, in other word let’s not attempt to Mock God, as He said, He will not be mocked… as Vengeance is His.

  1. Just like when He came, He came as a Man and not as a King, but as God Incarnate, The angel did make known… Matthew 1: 23 Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”
  2.  1 John 3:22
and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight. 1 John 3:21-23 (in Context) 1 John 3 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
  3. 1 John 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.
1 John 5:2-4 (in Context) 1 John 5 (Whole Chapter)

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord Jesus our Eternal Sovereign God in One of the Father and Creator to You we look for guidance. Lord in You we have victory as You Have Paid-It-All.  Lord today we thank You for the many Visitors and ask Your blessing on each one and Your favors to be released in Your Name.  Lord we pray for this country that Your Salvation will prevail and the message will remain free, Lord place a protective shield over your servants and those gathering in Your Name Lord. Lord we bring to You the uncertainty of our nation and ask that You unite us all in Your Name, as Your Love abounds to those that love You Lord.  We pray in Your Holy name and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday 12-30-2016

Is it Good News today or more of the same?  We say “it is Good News” because of Christ…

History repeats itself… the Bible tells of wars and today we have more of the same.  The Syrian war and the continuing battle in Iraq dominates the news.  So where is the Good-News?

The Good News is as recorded in the book of Revelation… The events leading to the return of our Lord are fully documented by John as told by Lord to write ‘These things down’

We will refer to a phrase (a Sea of Glass) that is synonymous with the aftermath of nuclear fission, that releases energy at a controlled rate in a nuclear reactor or at a very rapid uncontrolled rate in a nuclear weapon.

Revelation reveals the following:  It is all Good-News…

Revelation 4:6

Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Revelation 15:2

And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

The sea of glass referred to above will not affect God’s chosen… while in a nuclear destruction such conditions will be.

Reflecting on Shadrach… Daniel 3:25-27 New King James Version (NKJV)

25 “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”

This is the Good-News; The Kingdom of Christ…

Revelation 21:18  The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Revelation 21:21

The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. In Context | Full Chapter |

Colossians 1: 15-20 New International Version (NIV)

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

For He said:  All things work together for good to those that love the Lord…

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:27-29 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter)

Remember the battle is the Lord's, and HE sits on the Throne of Righteous and intercedes for us... What a Privilege HE gave us!

Revelation 21:4 New International Version (NIV)

4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Action/Coming to our Lord:

John 3:18: Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son

Knowing Him – Fellowship in Oneness:

Come to Jesus this morning and remember He said… You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world… 1 John 4: 4 NKJV

Our Scripture Guide for today is from Matthew 6: 33 ‘Seek Him First and His Righteousness….’

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Sovereign God in Your Holy Trinity we come. Father today we Praise You for Your Graciousness. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Redemption at Calvary and by Your Blood of Atonement we are saved by Your Grace.  Lord we pray for our nation and for Your guidance,   Lord let Your agenda prevail and pray for Peace in the Middle East and Lord place Your shield around Your many servants serving in these troubled regions.  Lord bless us all and our Visitors coming to read Your Word Lord, this is for Your Glory to reach many as You commissioned.  We pray in Your precious name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday 12-29-2016

Can you imagine leaving a Palace for a place of chaos?  He loved us so much to die for us…

2,016 years ago, Jesus came from the Father, born of a Virgin…

Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. In Context | Full Chapter |

Focus:    Events are recorded chronologically but when it comes to the Creation and the Advent of the Creator, the events are loosely presented, and more sketchy than factual. Why? Is it a lack of proof or lack of faith?

Matthew 1:  23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

The question above… Is it the Third-Time or the second time?  Chronologically it will be the Third time…

Because on the First day of God’s Creation, He said “Let there be Light” and there was Light…  We mentioned the Big-Bang theory the term used by man to describe what we cannot explain; but as we say there was a ‘BIG’ Bang and this was the First-Advent of Christ.

So, looking at the beginning there was Christ… and the Virgin ‘Child’ who 2,016 years ago, came for His second visit, and soon we will see Him again.  His third-coming is TBD (To be determined) but this day is already determined by God The Father.

Devotional:

Lord Jesus today we affirm Your next coming to be Your Third as You were with the Father at the beginning of it all…

We boldly tell the world that You are no ‘New-Comer’ and Lord when You came the world did not know You even though You made it all. Lord today our mission is just as the Father sent John leading the way as John declared he was not worthy to loosen the latch on Your shoe, Lord we too are like John.  Lord You came for the sole reason to Redeem us, and as we tell others we also tell of Your Unconditional Love and Your Divine Grace and Your Sacrifice at Calvary and by Your Blood of Atonement we are saved by Your Grace.

Lord we also must declare that Your Third-Visit will be a Day known as ‘The Day of The Lord’ a day that earth will be left bare, so Lord it is our duty and privilege to tell others of Your Grace and the Good News of Your Salvation that is freely given.

So, Lord Jesus we extend Your invitation as You said… Come unto to You all who are weary and You will grant Your Rest.  Thank You Lord Jesus for coming as we look to that day because Your Word said…

Romans 8 New King James Version (NKJV)

Free from Indwelling Sin

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Coming to the Lord:

1) Knowing that God loves us all, meaning we must be rooted in Love.

2) To remain un-shaken remain strong by the Established Love.

3) To be rooted and established in Christ’s Love,

4) To be filled with God’s Holy Spirit,

5) That one must be satisfied and complete in Him,

6) To move towards the full purpose that God intended for us,

7) Let the Power of His Holy Spirit work in us

Conclusion:

To apply the principle of Matthew 23: 12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. And to remind my Brothers in their dedication of doing God’s work, He said…

1 Peter 5:  Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

Prayer:  Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Redeemer we come in Your Holy presence. We lift You up before all. Thank You Lord for opening the doors to bring hundreds of Visitors to visit these sites; Lord we are privileged to be Your messenger and we thank You for Your blessings. Lord Jesus open our minds and grant us wisdom and let our readers grasp the Good News of Your Salvation. Lord as we bring Your message to many, let the substance of what we present be from You our Lord. We thank You for the many Visitors and Lord open their mind and let Your Holy Spirit be indwelling for Your Glory. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You be the Glory and the Power now and forevermore… Amen.

Things to remember:

To remain calm, always knowing that our Lord is in Charge and nothing happens before He wants it to happen by HIS Providence.

Remember:  Our Lord’s will for us today is: Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Devotionals for Wednesday 12-28-2016

Focus: Is life a ‘Riddle’ or is it a clear pathway?  Finding the ‘Exit’ leading to that place of ‘Splendor’

The pathways in Garden Maze in botanical gardens often leads to dead-end. Are we in a Maze? Are you a ‘Foreigner’ a visitor or are you a citizen?  Christians are ‘Foreigners’ to this world, we are to be citizens of God’s Kingdom.  We need to look ‘different’ act with distinction and perform the ‘Deeds’ of what Jesus said we are to do.

TEXT: The Bible in many instances condemns the world… such as: Romans 12:2(NIV)

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Jesus… John 16: 33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Commentary: There was nothing wrong with the World because it is God’s Creation and He said ‘it was good’ but sin entered the world and man was led into a live that transformed this world into the place we now know.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”Acts 1:7-9 (in Context) Acts 1 (Whole Chapter)

EVENING:

  1. His Assurance:  For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV….  Thank our Lord Jesus for His Spirit of Power, of Love, given us a Sound mind that we can give Him the Glory.

  1. He is Mediator: For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all 1 Timothy 2: 5-6 NKJV …. Thank Him that he intercedes to the Father on our behalf, and He Paid-It-All to Redeem us.
  2. Finding our Lord:  Jeremiah 33: 3… Call on Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.  What a privilege He gave us, we can freely come to our Lord.
  3. Meeting our needs:  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests ne made known to God. Philippians 4: 6 NKJV… He is never too busy to receive our requests (notice not just one request, as many as we need) so give thanks our Lord knowing that whatever we ask He will provide meeting all our needs.
  4. Salvation through His Blood: In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace... Ephesians 1: 7 NKJV… We are saved by His Grace and in Faith and not by ourselves, it is a ‘Gift’ of God, not of any works, so we cannot boast. (Ephesians 2: 8)

Hebrews 12:28-29 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”

God made a way for us to escape His wrath, through His Son Jesus who Paid-It-All, and we are assured of this as written in Romans 8:1-4 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

Now that we have proof of the mercy of our Lord, and in Him we can have Victory, let us all come to Him that we can receive His assurance that we are transitioned from condemnation to life, come to the Cross, He is waiting...

Pray this prayer... Heavenly Father I come knowing I am a sinner and in You Lord I can trust, I confess my sins and seek to be Saved by Your Grace as You have provided a way for me to be cleansed by Your Blood. Lord today I turn my life over to You that I can be guided by Your Holy Spirit, Lord come into my heart and make me a new creation from this day forward. Lord Jesus be with me as I now look to You as my Lord and Savior, In Your Name Lord Jesus I pray... Amen.

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus because You were there from the beginning of it all, Lord you are the Great ‘I AM”, we thank you for Your Graciousness and Lord we thank You for Your Divine Redemption. Lord we come in the shadow of the empty cross, but we know that were two or more are gathered, You are in our Midst… Lord thank You for sending the Holy Spirit, and let it be a ‘Day of Pentecost’ every day until You return. Lord we ask your blessings on us all and for our many Visitors. Lord grants us Your Favors and equip us to serve as we are privileged to be a vessel for You. Lord let your word be Fruitful and that many will come to know You as we Praise You and know on that day we shall see You as You are. We pray in Your precious name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

1 Corinthians 15:52

in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump.  For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. In Context | Full Chapter

This morning the message from the President Elect (of the USA) posted a message recognizing the birth of the Lord…

This was the controversial passage: “Merry Christmas to all! Over two millennia ago, a new hope was born into the world, a Savior who would offer the promise of salvation to all mankind. Just as the three wise men did on that night, this Christmas heralds a time to celebrate the good news of a new King."

After creating a stir on social media with its Christmas message, Republican National Committee spokesman Sean Spicer said Sunday that its reference to "a new King" was not a reference to President-elect Donald Trump.

Those with scales on their eyes did not see the meaning of the message… The message is more than a breath of fresh-air, it is a step of turning to God… a direction of healing our country, the social-media fired up a storm missing the key word of ‘Salvation to all mankind’ and the mention of the ‘Three wise-men; heralding the ‘Good-News’ of the birth of the Savior.

Scoffers will be prevalent in the last days?  We did not claim this, the Bible said so…

2 Peter 3 [Full Chapter]

God’s Promise Is Not Slack] Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, ...

Then Bible is as contemporary as the Current events of the Morning-News.
Proverbs 29:8
Scoffers set a city aflame, But wise men turn away wrath. In Context | Full Chapter

Realizing that the Word of God is wisdom to the wise… to many influenced by world thinking is missing the Good-News of God’s Salvation.  It is a suggestion that we cannot send a message of the Good News without quoting the Scriptures, as the Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword…

So, we want to clarify the source of the message in the morning News to be…

Luke 2:10

Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. In Context | Full Chapter |

Luke 2:11

For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. In Context | Full Chapter |

We thank the Lord for the glimmer of hope from the message that stirred many… and today we clearly, and boldly proclaim Jesus as our Savior who is King of kings, and Lord of all.

2 Kings 6:16 So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity… Lord Jesus Messiah, we lift You up on High and give You our Praises and thank You for Your Divine Grace. Lord today we go in Faith knowing that You are interceding for us and that we can look to that day when we shall see You as You are. Focus: To be at Peace means that you are satisfied. God offers His Peace, receive it now

The famous story of Haratio Spafford writing “It Is Well with My Soul” following the death of his four daughters. The story goes that as he sailed across the area were their ship went down and they drowned, he wrote the popular hymn.

This week the Spruce and Douglas-Fir trees a popular symbol of Christmas will soon be littering the sidewalks. Many trees are disposed of even a few days after Christmas. To many, Christmas trees are just a place to deposit presents as the real meaning of Christmas is not a consideration.

Devotionals for Sunday Christmas Day December 25th, 2016…

Merry Christmas…

2,016 years ago the world’s calendar began, the year was 00 when our Lord was born on that Silent Night in a stable and laid in a Manger.  It is overwhelming to think that our Lord had a feeding throuf for his Cradle.

Today we share the plight and the humble setting of where the King of kings, Lord of lords was born, and reflecting on Mary’s burden giving birth in a stable.

Today we have maternity hospitals and five-star hotels, but in the year 00 there was no room at the inn for Mary and Joseph. The humble entrance of our Lord Jesus and His thirty-three years spent in this world made more impact than any other event to human-kind.

Jesus came from the Father, and He is the image of the invisible God.

Colossians 1: 15-20 The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,

20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

It was Isaiah who wrote over 700 years before Jesus was born (2,756 years ago,) about the coming of Immanuel…

Luke 2:10

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

In Context | Full Chapter

So today we have Christmas day… the Birth of Jesus who is no new kid on the block.  It was Jesus who was there at the beginning of the creation.

Jesus himself testified of His presence with God the Father at the beginning of it all...

Jesus said… John 17:5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. In Context | Full Chapter |

Isaiah 53:5  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

So, today we celebrate Christmas as Jesus is the Savior for all…  And through Him we are reconciled through His blood shed on the cross.

Conclusion:

LET US INTRODUCE TO JESUS…  (All Scripture texts from the NIV Bible)

Hebrews 1: 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs. Isaiah 61: 1, 3 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me.... (This refers to Jesus being endowed by The Father to come and be our Redeemer Hebrews 8 and Psalm 45: 6&7 are identical and it affirms The Anointing of Jesus as The Christ; which is Prophecy fulfilled)

Hebrews 6: 1 Verse 3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory,

Hebrews 1: verse 3. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in Heaven.

Hebrews 6: 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. Hebrews 6: 18 God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus thank you for coming 2,016 Years ago, to be our Redeemer, Father we thank you in Jesus our Lord and Savior.  Lord as we pause today to recognize today as the day of You coming onto this world to save us, Lord we are in Awe of Your Unconditional love for us. The Greatest event of all time… The Birth of Jesus ‘Emanuel’ God with us…

Focus: While Jesus came 2,016 years ago, He never used force, nor did He ever imposed His Power on us.  This is the same Jesus who was with the Father on the day of Creation…

Genesis 1:2-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was[a] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.

Jesus is the Light of the world…

John 8:12 [Full Chapter] Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

The Greatest Event of all times…

Luke 2: So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Glory in the Highest

Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid.

10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.

11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:

14 “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

Matthew 24:27

For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

In Context | Full Chapter |

This is the next great event to come…

Matthew 24: The Coming of the Son of Man

29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Jesus said… John 8:23 And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. In Context | Full Chapter |

John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. In Context | Full Chapter |

Don’t be confused by Jesus’ saying ‘IF’ I go… He did go and the question of ‘If’ pertains to going for you.  Therefore, while Jesus went, if you knew Him, then He would be preparing a place for you.

Commentary: We said it once, that our Lord knows each of us by our names, but our real name is ‘Sinner’ this is why Jesus came as a man, died for our sins and through His Triumphant Resurrection we are Redeemed…

Our Lord is never late, and He is never impatient, He is slow to anger… just as he did in the garden of Eden when Adam and Eve went against His command, He was not rushing to kill them, He was patiently coming to Adam, and He said… Adam where are you? (He knew exactly where they were) Adam and Eve were hiding, but when they came to Him, He still loved them, He made them clothing from animal skin, (This was the first demonstration of the shedding of blood to cleanse us from sin)

This is His Priceless Gift from our Lord Jesus, He provided us with a ‘Pardon’ that we could not purchase, from the eternal damnation which is the wrath of God.

Today with Joy knowing in Christ Jesus we have Victory over death, granted through His Blood of Atonement that we can be with our Lord in a place He called ‘Paradise’

Principle: Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10: 13 NKJV

Prayer: Heavenly Father we come in Your Holy Presence through Jesus our Redeemer.  Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Divine Grace and through You Lord we are saved by Your Grace. Lord as we celebrate the Joy of Your Birth, Lord we can boldly say you Lord Jesus our Redeemer Lives… Be with our Visitors and grant us all Your Providence, and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Going it alone, you don’t have to… His Holy Spirit is always with you…

During the Seasons of Christmas many are lonely, missing loved ones, family members.  Thinking back of the good times should not be remorseful, it should be part-1 of your life as part-2 is where the Best is Yet to Come…

Going it alone is not necessary… so, just say “Lord Jesus I thank You for Your Grace” as His Grace is sufficient for you.  We should not be absorbed by the past as the most important moment of your life is ‘Right-Now’. In the “blink of an eye’ things can change and with Christ the change will be His Will when you ‘Go with Him’ as He said ‘Abide in Me’

John 15 [Full Chapter]

The True Vine] “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

Light is defined as… something or someone that makes vision possible… Jesus said:

John 12:46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus said this…
John 15:7
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

Today you are not alone,

John 15:9 [ Love and Joy Perfected] “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.

Remain in Christ…

Psalm 139:18

If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.

So, as we look forward to a New Year, let us face the world knowing that Jesus said…
John 15:7
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

In Context | Full Chapter |

So, Come to our Lord today as He said come unto Him and He will receive you and forgive you of your sin(s) and you will be a new creation in Christ.

Pray... Lord Jesus I come in Faith accepting Your gift of Salvation I choose to be alive in You by your Grace my Lord. Lord Jesus receive me as I repent of my sin and accept your great Salvation by your Blood of Atonement, and I seek Your divine guidance in my life, come into my heart, let Your Holy Spirit lives in me now and forevermore…to you Lord be the Glory... Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come… Lord Jesus we thank You for Your priceless gift of Salvation and in you we have victory.  Lord today as accept Your Word of assurance that you will come again and receive us to Yourself, that where You are we shall be also. Lord thank You for the privilege of serving You; and we thank You for our Visitors as we ask Your Divine blessings on each of us. The above scripture text affirmed the love of Christ and His Covenant of Grace.

Let us Praise Him and be still and know that he is God…

Action/Coming to our Lord:

We can come to our Lord knowing…

Hebrews 4:15-16

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. 16 Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Conclusion:

“In Jesus’ name, we pray”

Many prayers end with an abrupt ending… ‘In Jesus name, we pray’; this is mention as if Jesus was not amid the prayer to the Father.

Coming into the presence of the Father without Jesus is like breaking protocol… why? Jesus said no one come to the Father unless through Him.

So, when we end our prayers to the Father and abruptly say…” In Jesus name, we pray” are we making an inference to Jesus who is absent? This is out of protocol as Jesus was present and you had to be speaking to Him as well as the Father, therefore we must say… To You Lord Jesus we pray in Your Holy Name, and to end with a salutation, just like you would say to a friend have a great day… But Jesus is Sovereign and Eternal so ‘A Great day’ is too superficial; addressing our Lord it is more like to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore…

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come…. Lord Jesus thank You for Your Love as we adore You knowing that in You we redeemed by Your Blood, and that the Best is Yet to Come as we can say You our Redeemer Lives. Lord we thank our Visitors and ask Your Divine blessings on us all and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Devotionals for Wednesday December 21, 2016:

Where to find lasting Treasures? It’s not in the stores, get it now…

God gave the Best Gift of all times… He gave us His Son Jesus our Messiah…

Matthew 2:11

On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

The Wise men came with their treasures of gold, frankincense and myrrh to honor the birth of our Messiah.   While they gave earthly treasure, they were honoring the Heavenly Treasure who was born to us all.  Jesus is the Heavenly Treasure…

Matthew 6:19

Treasures in Heaven] “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. In Context | Full Chapter |

Matthew 6: 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Let us make Jesus our Treasure so that our hearts will be with Him…

So, today as we are in heavy traffic, the rush of the shopping season and the bombardment of commercials selling less than earthy treasures, let us focus of what Jesus said:

Matthew 6: Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

The Supremacy of Jesus…

John 1 New International Version (NIV)

The Word Became Flesh

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Hebrews 1 New International Version (NIV)

God’s Final Word: His Son

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.

Colossians 1:15-16 New International Version (NIV)

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. New International Version (NIV)

Buddha and Mohammed were spiritual leaders but they did not have a Triumphant Resurrection, they are in man-made boxes. Just like the idols they had to be nailed down so they do not topple over. Worshippers of idol had to ‘carry’ their stone gods, Jesus carries us, He is our Hero.

Come to the Lord and…

Father let my earthly baggage be replaced by the Grace of our Lord Jesus who redeemed us by His Blood, as we are sinners and can only be Redeemed by the Blood of Jesus. Lord Jesus today I thank you for replacing the baggage that I am saddled with, replaced by Your Redemption through Your Divine Sacrifice.  I thank You Lord for Your Saving Grace, in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Lord we thank You and we go in faith as we are privileged to serve You as Your Grace is sufficient… Lord bless our Visitors and grant Your Peace as we celebrate the season of Advent looking to You as the Author and Finisher of our faith as we delight in You Lord Jesus and give You the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Tuesday December 20, 2016:

Focus:   We do not like to be kept waiting… So, don’t keep Jesus waiting.

700 years before Christ came as the Messiah, this was written by the Prophet Isaiah…

Isaiah 53:5-6 New King James Version (NKJV)

5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,

He was bruised for our iniquities;

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

And by His stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray;

We have turned, every one, to his own way;

And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

John 3:16-18 New King James Version (NKJV)

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Jesus the Lamb of God…

Romans 5:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)

8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

Jesus bore our sins…

1 Peter 2:24 New King James Version (NKJV)

24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

Acts 4:36 New King James Version (NKJV)

36 And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus,

Romans 6:4 New King James Version (NKJV)

4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Ephesians 2:1-10 New King James Version (NKJV)

By Grace Through Faith

2 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Now, being enlightened by the above scriptures knowing that Jesus “Paid-It-All’ do not keep Him waiting…

And the above Scriptures provided the Truth and is God-Given and you can be Sure…

Received Him…

Come to Christ and receive His Assurance of we can all say… looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Prayer:
Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and savior we come. Lord Jesus we thank You for the privilege of serving You Lord and we thank you for Your Divine Redemption.   Lord we Praise You and knowing that in You Lord Jesus dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and You are complete and You are the head of all principality and power. Lord we ask Your blessings upon our Visitors as we spread Your Good News knowing that in You we have Victory in You and are confident that You who begun a good work that we are privileged to be a vessel will complete it until that day Lord when we shall see You as You are. Monday December 19, 2016:

His Grace is sufficient to save us… God does not believe in ‘Double-Jeopardy’…

Focus:   Grace is not measured by our performances.

Nothing we do will impress God until we come to Him and know that He is God and in Faith accept His Grace and Salvation.

Text: 1 Peter 4:12

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Share the Sufferings of Christ

12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you;

Commentary:

There are several key factors that we need to know

God does not need our money

God does not need our help

God does not need anything from us, but He wants us to…

Love Him, as Jesus said to the crowd… Mark 12: 28-31

28 One of the scribes came and heard them arguing, and recognizing that He had answered them well, asked Him, “What commandment is the foremost of all?” 29 Jesus answered,” The foremost is, ‘Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is one Lord; 30 and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Text:  Revelation 22: 20-21 I Am Coming Quickly

20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Matthew 6: 5-13

“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

John 15:13-15

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

13 Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do what I command you. 15 No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.

Action/Coming to our Lord:   James 1:5

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Conclusion: The Love of God is mentioned in the Bible many times and we know that He first loved us…

1 John 4:19 1 John 4:18-20 (in Context) 1 John 4 (Whole Chapter)

We love, because He first loved us.

Romans 8: 28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; 30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

Prayer: Father in heaven in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus today as You intercedes for us, we acknowledge Your Supremacy and Your Divine Grace. Lord we thank You for Your Word of Assurance and Your Covenant of Grace. Lord as we begin this week and look to give you first place in all things. Lord grant us Your Peace and bless our Visitors as we bring Your Good News of Your Salvation to many for Your Glory. Lord be with us all as we seek You and a closer walk with You Lord. To You be the Power and the Glory in Your name we pray and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday: 12-18-2016

Focus: Give Thanks. Thanking the Lord for His Matchless Gift:

Focus on the Giver and not the Gift… While the Gift is precious, there are different kinds of gift.

A material gift, comes in two categories, Durable and non-durable; this could be a box of chocolate, flowers, money or a gift certificate to fine dining in a restaurant. any of these could be a good enjoyable gift, but non-durable.  The durable category would be housewares, appliances, automobiles.  Even then these ‘durable-items’ will someday need replacing. While the ‘Giver’ of any of above gives it with a good-heart these material gifts cannot compared to God’s Spiritual-Gift as His gift keeps on giving. And It will last forever.

God’s Gift to us all…

Luke 2:10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. In Context | Full Chapter |

This CHRIST- ‘MAS’ we celebrate Christ coming for the Masses… As said above His Great Joy will be for ‘All People’.

The Unconditional love of our Lord Jesus…

Romans 8:35

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Romans 8:39

nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. In Context | Full Chapter |

The Grace of our Lord Jesus who went to the4 Cross so that we shall by His Grace…

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

We thank our Lord today for His mercies and His Faithfulness.

Jesus said He is the Light of the World, when He said “world” he was referring to us living beings, not the physical world, He said He came to save sinners, He was declared by God to be ‘The Lamb of God’ what did God mean by this? As a Sacrifice a Lamb without blemish is always chosen as a Sacrifice’ therefore God chose Jesus as His Lamb that was Sacrificed at Calvary for our Sin.

Just like in the Temple where the High Priest made a sacrifice to God; if you were not present to receive the blessings, you were left out. So, when Jesus was Crucified He said “It is Finished’ and at that moment the Temple Curtain was torn, revealing the inner place of High-Holy, as Jesus became our High Priest, opening the High Holy to all, but we must turn to Him and receive His Gift of Grace.  Jesus Rose Triumphantly, and conquered death forever for mankind. And through His Grace we have His ‘Priceless’ Gift of Everlasting Life with Him.

John 19:30
When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. John 19:29-31 (in Context) John 19 (Whole Chapter)

His Promise:

Jesus said… “I will never leave you nor forsake you”, but first we HAVE TO KNOW HIM, even though our Lord is omniscient with infinite awareness, He also said, Ask, Seek and Knock, therefore A-S-K must be applied in a relationship with our Lord.

Conclusion:

To apply the principle of Matthew 23: 12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. And to remind my Brothers in their dedication of doing God’s work, He said… 1 Peter 5:  6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

Prayer:  Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Redeemer we come in Your Holy presence. We lift You up before all. Lord we are privileged to be Your messenger and we thank You for Your blessings. Lord Jesus open our minds and grant us wisdom and let our readers grasp the Good News of Your Salvation. Lord as we bring Your message to many, let the substance of what we present be from You our Lord. We thank You for the many Visitors and Lord let Your Holy Spirit be indwelling for Your Glory. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You be the Glory and the Power now and forevermore… Amen.

To remain calm, always knowing that our Lord is in Charge and nothing happens before He wants it to happen by HIS Providence.

God’s Gift is ‘Hidden-In-Plain Sight’

Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. In Context | Full Chapter

As Jesus declared that He was with the Father before the world was…. We also must in AWE of Jesus’ statement as He said…” I am NOT of this world”

Yet God sent His Son Jesus to be fully human so that He could relate to us mere mortals, and God declared

His Son… Jesus who declared that he was with the Father at the beginning…

As we reflect on the Majesty of the Lord, Jesus who affirmed John 17:5

And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. In Context | Full Chapter

Jesus is not Hidden and He is in ‘Plain-Sight’

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Remember Jesus came on the 1st day of Creation…

John 1:1 [ The Eternal Word] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:2

He was in the beginning with God.  In Context | Full Chapter |

The Eternal Word

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

Jesus is the Light of the world and in the world to come, He will be…

So, today let us be a lamp to others…

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

In Context | Full Chapter |

Jesus attested that no one has ever seen the Father…

John 6:  46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. 47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me[g] has everlasting life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

Soas we pray

Matthew 6:9-13 New King James Version (NKJV)

In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Our request for ‘Our Daily-Bread’ is not the loaf, it is asking the Father to let us have communion with His Son, Jesus who is our Daily-Bread of Life.

Prayer: Father in heave in Jesus our Redeemer and our Eternal Sovereign God in One of Your Holy Trinity. We come Lord Jesus because You said no one comes to the Father unless through You Lord, we thank You for this privilege of being in Your Holy presence. Lord today as we seek You and seek a close walk with You, Your Grace abounds in our lives as we in Faith go forth proclaiming Your Good News of Your Salvation. Lord bless us all as we ask Your blessing for our visitors and to grant your Favors to all that ask in Your name, Lord to You is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday:  12-16-2016

Avoid the rush, do not lose the opportunity get it Now! It is Free…

The use of the word ‘SALE’ has been over-used, and most often a Sale is just an everyday event in the department stores. A coupon on the other hand has an expiration date, and this is well intended that you will attempt to purchase the item, and on that day the coupon expired, and you then may have to pay full price.

‘FREE” on the other hand should really mean free and not to be tied to another purchase. Many stores offer a free gift, usually a token gift ‘free’ with the purchase of an item at full price, some store run a promotion with a Free coupon offering a gift that is not subject to any purchase, and this method draws customers, and most individual may feel uncomfortable just going to this giant retail store with a coupon to redeem an item that is worth just three dollars, so they out of conscience may make a purchase in the store to just redeem the coupon.  Remember the saying … There’s no free lunch’, meaning there’s always a catch.

Another thing, the trend of the BOGO (Buy one get one) which is sometimes a real bargain, but this is a trend that is intended to train the customers to get used to the ‘pairing’ of merchandise, that is usually followed by the promotional tag the following week saying… Get two for $9.98, which is just selling two items that normally sell for $5 apiece.

Don’t be surprised when a store clerk that you have never seen before welcomes you by your name. In major department stores your smartphone is emitting your personal information, and these stores are using it to track you as you walk through the aisles.

If we are tracked by society, just think of how you are also seen by the Lord… The Bible said that we are seen by a host of witnesses…

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, In Context | Full Chapter |

So, today… Avoid the rush, do not lose the opportunity get it Now! It is Free…

EVENING:

Coming to our Lord:

His Faithfulness:

Jesus the giver of Life – everlasting, remember that a ‘Free’ Gift had to be bought by the giver, and Jesus bought His Priceless Gift with His Life by dying for us, and His Payment was Redeemed by the Father as He Rose from death. His Resurrection is a Witness of what He has endowed for those in Jesus who shall also share in His Glory through His Divine Redemption.

Yes, we can receive His ‘Priceless-Gift’ right now and be made a Joint-Heir in Christ our Savior.

Matthew 10:32

[Confess Christ Before Men] “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess (you) before My Father who is in heaven. In Context | Full Chapter
