Devotionals for Sunday: December 30, 2018

Worthy of Praise, and worthy to Praise… Praising with a Sincere ️ heart made pure by the blood of Christ.

We are made worthy to Praise the Father through the Righteousness of Jesus our Savior.

Being worthy by Grace, therefore let us give the Lord the Glory, let us thank the Lord for His mercies, His providence and His Divine Redemption.

Today being the last Sunday for 2018, let us declare this day to be a wonderful day to be cherished as we give The Father, Son and Holy Spirit our highest Praise declaring Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Lord Jesus today I come and affirm that I am saved by Grace as I profess my Faith in You Lord Jesus, I receive Your Peace that surpasses all understanding.

Romans 5:1 New International Version (NIV)

Peace and Hope

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Today more than ever people are being displaced because of wars, civil unrest, terrorism and uncertainty of the future.  But we want to express to our readers that nothing is New…  Mass-Migration existed in Europe, India, Middle-East, Africa by the Transatlantic Slave Trade, and today we have the atrocities of war in Syria, Africa, Middle-East displacing millions.

The Bible made referenced to this… Daniel 12:3-5 New King James Version (NKJV)

Those who are wise shall shine
Like the brightness of the firmament,
And those who turn many to righteousness
Like the stars forever and ever.

“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

Then I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others, one on this riverbank and the other on that riverbank.

Our message today is to highlight the unwavering Word of Jesus, when He told John to ‘Write these things down’

The most Re-Assuring words are…

Revelation 22:12

Jesus Testifies to the Churches] “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. In Context | Full Chapter |

While Jesus mentioned ‘According to his work’ we are highlighting that His Reward is brought to those who know Him and He knows them… Because ’Work’ will not make us eligible for His Kingdom.

Ephesians 2:8-9New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Prayer: Heavenly Father because of Jesus our Redeemer and through You Lord we have Victory and we can boldly declare that this day is the best day of all because Your Lord Jesus paid it all.  Lord we thank you for our Visitors and we ask your Divine blessing on us all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

                                 Devotionals for Saturday: December 29,2018

Never look back, the light at the end of the tunnel may be an oncoming train.

Look ahead and see the end of the tunnel…

God sent Jesus, because He (God) could not die for our sins’; so Jesus came as Man and God.

As He was crucified and died as a man, He rose as God. Therefore, He conquered death.

These are the most important events in the history of mankind…

  1. Christmas:      The Advent of Christ
  2. Good Friday:   The Crucifixion of Christ
  3. Easter Day:      The Resurrection of Christ

Beware…  Is the light at the end of the tunnel the exit” or an oncoming locomotive?

Again, it is a Stop-Look-Listen mode, as we go about our daily lives, let’s be sure that the light is the exit from the tunnel and not an oncoming train.

Driving we cross intersections several times per day, and today while waiting for the traffic light to change some driver just pulled alongside us and ran the red-light.   Jokingly, I said that person just went on a ‘Miami-Green’ usually referred to as a red-light.

As we once said, being cutoff in traffic causing me to miss the green-light, I consider this as a possible favor, why? Because if I had not been cut-off, crossing on a legal green-light, I would have been hit by a person that ran a red-light. So, don’t be anxious and be patient with rational thinking and remain safe.

Yes, it is the end of the tunnel, and the light shining is the Radiance of the Lord.  But our Lord will not be emerging from a tunnel, He will be coming in the Sky, and be seen from the east to the west.

Commentary:

You may wonder how can God know me an individual in a world with 7+ Billion people, how can Jesus know who I am and hear me as billions are praying simultaneously? This is probably the most troublesome question for non-believers and Atheists.  The answer is that God (Regardless of an non-believers’ unbelief) God our Creator who said “Let us” create, spoke the world into existence, and just as He and His Son Jesus with His Holy Spirit being there from the beginning of it all, their divine power of Creation is able to hear each of us, as the Divinity of God through His Holy Spirit is in each believer; and His Holy Spirit is like the Broadband ‘Wireless’ Internet that we as believer are able to speak with our God.

Who is this Jesus?  The entire Bible is all about Jesus as no one has ever seen God, except Jesus.  Jesus was there from the beginning of it all, and He is the great “I AM” The Gospel comprised of Matthew, Mark Luke and John, collectively they are ‘Proof’ of Jesus’ Birth, His Ministry and His Crucifixion and then as Testimonies of His Divine Resurrection.  The Book of Acts then testified to Jesus post Resurrection spending time with His Disciples and then His Ascension to Heaven.  .

Jesus came into this world by way of a Virgin Birth, an event that has never been repeated.

When did He know me?

Before you were born, He knew you…

Psalms 139:  (NIV)

13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are  wonderful, I know that full well.

15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

How do I know if He is real?

The world did not just happen; science and man still do not understand many things, the grand design of His Creation and His super-natural being, Jesus  born of a Virgin, died and rose by a divine resurrection is as real as real can be.

John 1 NIV

The Word Became Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

Matthew 24:30

Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. In Context | Full Chapter

Mark 13:26

“At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

In Context |

What a glorious day it will be… Many may become complacent, as these Words in the Scriptures were written 50-70 AD which is around 1,963 years ago.  So, if you are around the age of 60 this means that you have been hearing about the return of Christ for all your life. But don’t lose heart, as the Word of the Lord will be fulfilled, and what Jesus said will occur.

Prayer: Lord Jesus… We thank You for Your Covenant of Grace, and Your Unconditional love. Lord today as we give You preeminence in our lives, we are privileged to serve, and we thank You for our Visitors. Lord let Your Divine blessings flow to each as we give You our praise and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday December 28th, 2018

                        “Sorry I don’t have a shovel” so I can’t come, I will just stay in need…

As we draw closer to saying goodbye to 2018, and we look back at our accomplishments, we may wonder what opportunity we missed.

Here’s a missed opportunity… this humorous story of three fellows walking down the street, and there was a person sitting under a tree, and he said to them, where are you guys going? They said they were on their way to dig for gold as they were told where to dig, the person sitting under the tree replied… “too bad I do not have a shovel”.  The question is, what would you do? Personally. I would get up and walk with them, and locate a shovel and join in.

So, sitting back, waiting is not the answer, while we are told to have faith, but faith without taking the seeds out of the barn and planting them, there will be no fruits.

Only by and through Christ.

Romans 5:1 New International Version (NIV)

Peace and Hope

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Commentary:

That I am made acceptable to God only by Christ…. I must be accepted for Christ’s sake, from the day that He Redeemed me and throughout all my life, it is only by His Grace and nothing I do can ever will replace His Grace. So, I am only accepted by God for Christ’s sake.

I can never rely on my own morality and religious relationship without acknowledging the Grace of God through Jesus my Redeemer.

There’s nothing I will ever do that makes me acceptable to God. I must be accepted for Christ’s sake, not only when I first believed but for all of my life.

I must know I’m justified through faith in Christ, and I am made perfect by His Grace that Justifies me. I must live this in my daily experience, and be aware that I can never look to my own performance for acceptance with God…

Ephesians 2:8-9 New International Version (NIV)

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

So, what is the opportunity facing you? Maybe the next person you meet will be an opportunity to share the gospel. Or; he may say I am going to dig for gold as someone told me where to dig, would you like to join-in… Whatever you do, don’t let it be a missed opportunity. Winning Souls for Christ is just like finding ‘Gold’ and it is more valuable than gold. It is laying up treasures in heaven.

Remember what Jesus said…

Matthew 6:32-34 Living Bible (TLB)

31-32 “So don’t worry at all about having enough food and clothing. Why be like the heathen? For they take pride in all these things and are deeply concerned about them. But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, 33 and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to.

34 “So don’t be anxious about tomorrow. God will take care of your tomorrow too. Live one day at a time.

TEXT: 1 Peter 2:9 [Full Chapter]

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light…

So today as we are enlightened knowing we are chosen to a Royal Priesthood, we need to be ‘Knighted’ or rather be ‘Blessed’ by the Redeemer, who will make you a ‘Special-person’ to be sanctified, and set-apart that you may proclaim the Praises to Jesus our Redeemer who is calling us out of darkness into His ‘Marvelous’ Light.

What a privilege our Savior Jesus, the Christ who is the Great ‘I AM’ to even remember each of us.  Yes, He knows you by name, and our names are all common, known as ‘Sinner’ so He came and Divinely Paid-It-All so that we may have Life and have it more Abundantly. Jesus said this…

John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. In Context | Full Chapter |

Conclusion: We can come to the Throne of Righteousness in Prayer knowing that our High Priest our Redeemer Jesus Christ intercedes for us and by His Grace we are Saved… Amen

Prayer… Lord let me be humble and by brotherly love not pre-judge anyone. Today Lord instill in me the presence of Your Holy Spirit and capture my ways, my thoughts, my all and let me shine as a beacon for You.  leading others to You my Lord, as You said let it be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.  Therefore; Lord grant our Visitors Your Divine Providence, as Your Said Lord...” You will never leave us nor forsake us”, To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore, in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus we pray… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday: December 27th, 2018

Not by works, but by Faith… but faith without work is a half effort, be engaged

Time for a Tune-up, running on ‘E’” fill-up and enjoy…

To some of us ‘E’ means enough, but it reality it means empty…

It takes fuel to power the car, but it takes Grace + Faith + Redemption to get to that ‘Real Promise-Land’.

God gave us His commandments to; ‘not do’; and the commandment ‘to do’…

Focus:  The epic event of God calling Moses to the mountain and giving the tablets with the commandments, an event that has never been repeated. As we look at the life of Moses, we can draw many parallels of the life of Jesus.

  • Moses never went to Canaan, but He was present at the Transfiguration of Jesus seen by the Disciples with Elijah.
  • Jesus was seen by many after the Resurrection, He spent 40 days with the Disciples before Ascending to heaven.

Consider this… no one, none ever has made such an impact on mankind, no religious leaders, and dead or alive ever came back from death. Only Christ Jesus was at the time when he came 2,018 years ago, He was no ‘new-kid on the block’ He was there from the beginning of it all. At the creation when God said…” Let there be Light” and there was Light, this commandment by God was made before the Sun was made. So the True-Light is Jesus the ‘Son” not the Sun.   Colossians 1: correctly described Jesus as our Preeminent God in One of the Father...

The Super-Natural Powers of God can be seen in each of our lives, where?  We are a unique, He ‘Made’ us and breathed life into us.  This is His Spirit, and because He (God) is Holy, so should we.  But Sin came into the world and Sin is a blemished that we are all inherited; was God surprised of mankind’s waywardness? No, this is why Jesus came and His coming was not a last minute decision by God. 700 years before Jesus was born Isaiah prophesied of Christ coming to be the Lamb of God…  Why is Jesus the Lamb of God? Just like the Lamb that was sacrificed on the night of the ‘Passover’ of the angel of death, the blood of the lamb protected the Israelite saving them. This is the forerunner of the coming “Passover’ by which the Blood of Christ will keep us safe on that day when the next ‘Passover’ comes… This is; ‘The Day of The Lord”

Therefore, we are redeemed by the Atoning Blood of Jesus our Lord and Savior.

How do you receive His Divine Redemption? He said come unto Him and He will give you rest, The Bible said… All who calls on His name shall be saved, Jesus said He will never leave you nor forsake you…

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

And this is a choice that we must make… so the question is choosing whom you will serve.

Joshua 24:15 (NKJV)

15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Prayer: Father in Heaven we thank you in Jesus our Lord and savior who Redeemed us and placed us on the Solid Rock. Lord today be with us and our Visitors and grant us Your Divine Grace as we go with Your Peace. Thank You Lord for Your faithfulness as we ask Your Blessings and Your Providence on our Visitors and us all. In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, we Pray and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Made Righteous by only ‘One-Way’ the only way and it is exclusive…

No one comes to the Father unless through Jesus.

The Deity of Jesus is by the Holy Anointing of God the Father who sent His Son… Jesus, The Christ.  Jesus is Divinely Man and God as He came 2,018 years ago. He is Messiah and He is Holy as He is One in the Father.

As Jesus said…

John 14:7

Oneness with the Father ] If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.” In Context | Full Chapter

As declared in Colossians:

So, today as Scripture said…  Philippians 1:6

being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; In Context

History is still been written, what you do today or yet to be done, could be part of tomorrow’s history. You may say that… ‘I play such an insignificant role in the world’ and as such, you may say you cannot make history. An incident like just speaking to your neighbor over the fence, could impact him or her, who I turn tell other of Christ, and your message continues on and reach a hundred and keep growing. This is highly possible, as the beauty of mathematics enlarges the outreach exponentially., if you tell 10 people about Christ in one Month and those ten that heard the message spread it to another 10 at the end of  the 10th month you would have reached 10,240 people in total.

So, don’t procrastinate and start spreading the Joy of the Lord. Layup treasure I heaven…

Matthew 6:19

It’s CHRISTMAS and it is in Christ ‘Alone’, yes! in Him alone that we have Grace…  'Wise-men still seek Him"

Merry Christmas… Today as we celebrate the birth of the Messiah… The angels brought the Good News:

Unto you is born this day in the city of David…  Luke 2: 10-1210

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; 11 for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is [a]Christ the Lord. 12 This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

Keep remembering the Privileges God gave us.  Stand-up and tell it to others….

Text: Philippians 4: 4-9 (NKJV)

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Here what to Tell and shout it out from the mountain tops…

Philippians 2 New International Version (NIV)

Imitating Christ’s Humility

2 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in very nature[a] God,

    did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;

7 rather, he made himself nothing

by taking the very nature[b] of a servant,

    being made in human likeness.

8 And being found in appearance as a man,

he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—

        even death on a cross!

9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place

and gave him the name that is above every name,

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,

in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,

to the glory of God, the Father. (End of Text)

Today as many congregations gather to worship the Lord… let us come let every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Remember that the love of God that radiates to us this Christmas Day should be shared with many and to Imitate Christ’s Humility… and do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

Good News -His Faithfulness:  Come to Christ today, acknowledge Him as His Word stated…

Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’ In Context | Full Chapter |

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Lord and savior we come.  Lord as we gather, we are assured that You Lord Jesus is in our midst and You are our Mediator to the Father.  Lord we thank You for Your Divine Grace and we thank you Lord for the privilege of serving You and for our many Visitors. Devotionals for Monday: December 24, 2018

Are you standing with Jesus? Can you? Are you worthy?

Yes, you are made worthy through the Righteousness of Jesus.

Jesus did this for you, have you shared this to others?

What did Jesus do for you? You may know it, or you may not, one of the most important thing in your life that you have or you may have not yet found was done for you by Jesus.

In a car-rental agreement it may not seems important at the time but including the Damage-Waiver (insurance) as a necessity this could turn out to be the most important part of the rental agreement, as someone driving and ‘texting’ rear end our vehicle and wrote off the car. So, for the $15 per day the $30,000 automobile was fully insured when the coverage was really needed.

In life we feel that what Christ did at Calvary is an ‘optional’ item, just life choosing to select the option of the Damage-Waiver for the car rental.   But we may choose to insure the car, but your Soul remained un-covered.

We use the term ‘Un-Covered’ instead of ‘Un-Insured’ because Jesus is not in the business of selling Insurance, Our Lord is not selling anything, He is giving us His Love, His Grace and His Redemption.  Yes, these are like insurance, but they are not.  They are ‘Assurance’ because we cannot purchase His Assurance, nor can we have an insurance policy on your soul by making a deal or checking the option box.

Commentary:  A young man whose mother loved the Lord and taught him about the love of Christ, but this young man went off to college, became a physician buy never followed his mom’s leading. While in internship at a hospital where we saw a lot of accident victims; there was a man who suffered a mighty fall who was not going to make it.  This man was conscious so the young physician asked is there anyone that he would like to notify to come and visit him, the injured man said he had no relative, but he would like his landlady to come and see him so that he could pay what he owed before dying.

The young physician called the landlady who came a few times, the man died peacefully, the physician was asked; what should they do with a bible that they found that the man was reading, the physician said he would take it as the man had no relative.

Taking the Bible the physician opened the bible and found that this was a bible his mom gave him, when he went off to medical school that he sold. The physician’s name was written inside the front cover written by his mom. He was shocked because of the coincident of this bible coming back to him. He took it home and read all the passages that the man had underlined.  The young physician was led to the Lord after realizing the Word of the Lord and the unconditional love of God.

Sometime in our life when we offer to help someone, we ourselves get more benefit returning to us.  The incident of this young physician’s life’ experience of this accident victim owning a Bible that was owned by the young physician was a divine interaction of the Lord in the life of this young physician; whose mom was fervently praying for her son to come to Jesus.

Once thing for sure, the Lord answers prayers, and He never forgets, He is Omniscient, He is Omnipotent and our Lord will never leave us nor forsake us.

Do not neglect to entertain strangers, because somewhere or sometime an angel of our Lord will be sent to you…

The NKJV Bible mention the presence of Angels 190 times. One of the most profound visit of an angel was…

 Matthew 1:20

But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 1:19-21 (in Context) Matthew 1 (Whole Chapter)

The Divine Super-Natural powers of our God far exceeds our thinking abilities… so today we stand in awe of the great things our Lord has done for us; His Divine Redemption through his Crucifixion and His Triumphant Resurrection.  Knowing this we are more awe-struck that Jesus who is God Incarnate would do this for us, yes he did!  Because we are His greatest treasures, when He created us in His Likeness, He said it was Good… so why did He had to die? Because mankind fell from His Grace He came to redeemed us.  Just as Jesus is of the linage of David through Joseph His earthly father that fulfilled the prophecy written over 700 years before Christ was born, we are descendant of Adam whom He created, and by the sin of Adam we are all sinners.

EVENING:

What a privilege our Lord has given us… Through His Death and Resurrection we have His Divine Redemption. You may say…why do I need to be redeemed? I am going to die someday and what do I know or care?  Guess what? You will never die, because you are carefully and wonderfully made in the Likeness of God, and as such we will never die. The Word of God said… It is appointed unto to man to die once and after that the judgment; here we see a very contradictory statement, how can you be around for the judgment if you died?  Because we really never die, and even after the judgment we will live forever.

In Christ we will have a life of Splendor, without Christ we are separated from God forever in a place of desolation.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your assurance that in You Lord we have peace and in You we have Victory. Lord we thank You for interceding for us to the Father as no one comes to the Father unless through Your Lord. Lord today we thank You for the privilege of serving You and bringing Your Good News to may for Your Glory. Lord bless our many Visitors and grant Your Favors upon us all as we go in faith. Lord we thank you for Your Grace as we call upon Your Name and to You Lord Jesus is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

The Most precious gift nothing compares…

Yesterday we wrote about the ideal gift you would like for Christmas… Yes, its there waiting to be received by you. All you have to do is claim it, and it is yours to keep, and there are no transfer fee or tax to be paid.

It is a ‘Priceless’ Gift’ unique and cannot be purchased, but you and we are privileged to receive this unique Gift. Yes, God sent Jesus who brought this gift on the first Christmas day. As declared…

Luke 2:11

For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Commentary:

Our Lord needs nothing from us, except our Love and in exchange for this He offered Ever-Lasting Life.  What a ‘Gift’

Our Lord is a loving God, but He is also a God of a Consuming Fire…  We need to know this; and because He loves us, He wants only the best for us… What is the best? His Grace and His Love, so why is the Bible saying that the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom?  Because to not fear Him and to continue to sin, we are mocking our Lord.

Our Lord wants a ‘Sincere relationship, and sincerity is achieved only by a true relationship without any infidelity or action that will blemish the relationship, in other word let’s not attempt to Mock God, He will not be mocked… as Vengeance is His.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

  1. Factually our Lord is not asking for your love because of fear of Him. He said “If we love Him, keep His commandments” Just like when He came, He came as a Man and not as a King or as God Incarnate.

  1. The angel did make known… Matthew 1: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”

  1.  1 John 3:22 and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.

  1. 1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.

As we cope with the daily things in our lives, some are challenging, and some are pleasant to experience.  Despite what we see around us, the growing rate of scoffers, substance abusers, crime and human-trafficking, these will end on that fateful day, ‘The Day of the Lord’ but through Jesus our Lord we have Victory and He has provided a way for those who trust in Him, know Him accept  Him as your Savior, He has laid a way for the Best is yet to come.

Hebrews 13:5

Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,”

Philippians 4: 6: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4: 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4: 19 & 20 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer… Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord Jesus we thank You for the privilege of serving and for our Visitors, as we seek Your Divine Providence upon us all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday: December 16, 2018

Speak the Doctrine of Hope & Power because God endowed it to each of us.

Text: 2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

In Context

The Gifts of the Lord are:

  • A Sound Mind
  • The Joy of Love
  • The Power through His Holy Spirit.

There’s no reference to poverty, weakness or doubts in what God has given.

Claim it in Jesus’ Name. And say…” By the Power vested in me, I shall declare the Providence of my God, in Jesus’ Name”.

What is the most desired thing in life? Is it Health, Wealth, Happiness or Fellowship with the Lord?

Make a choice, and hopefully you did not choose wealth, but made the choice of Fellowship with Christ.  Because if you did… Health and Happiness will follow. Because He said…

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33  In Context

Today as many congregations gather to worship the Lord… let us come let every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Remember that the love of God that radiates to us this Sunday should be shared with many and to Imitate Christ’s Humility… and do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

The foregoing is somewhat a tall-order as some will rebuff or debase your humility. Why? Kindness is often mistaken for weakness.  This is why the Gift of Salvation so ‘Freely-given’ is often overlooked and material things takes precedent.  Do not envy the wealth of others, because in your heart you should know that your ’Real-Wealth’ is the truest wealth of all, as in your heart there rings a melody, and this is the love of Christ. Knowing that in Christ all things are possible.

Philippians 4:13New International Version (NIV)

13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength. †

We have so much to tell…

  • The Love of God, through Jesus our Redeemer
  • The exaltation by God the Father of Jesus our Sovereign Eternal Redeemer in the Holy Trinity
  • Let us acknowledge Jesus as Lord…
  • Let us give Thanks to the Lord for His mercies, His Gracious Gift and His coming Return…

Coming to the Lord: These are the saying of Jesus…

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Lord and savior we come.  Lord as we gather, we are assured that You Lord Jesus is in our midst and You are our Mediator to the Father.  Lord we thank You for Your Divine Grace and we thank you Lord for the privilege of serving You and for our many Visitors. Lord bless each of our Visitors as we Praise You and give You the Glory, we thank You Lord that whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.      Jesus makes no preference, you are important to Him, there’s no one higher.

Get the right map. Check who prepared it. Know the author and trust in him…

Why every world map you're looking at is WRONG: Africa, China and India are distorted despite access to accurate satellite data (Excerpt from: The Daily Mail-UK)

  • The distortion is the result of the Mercator map which was created in 1596 to help sailors navigate the world
  • It gives the right shapes of countries but at the cost of distorting sizes in favor of the wealthy lands to the north
  • For instance, north America looks larger, or at least as big, as Africa, and Greenland also looks of comparable size
  • In reality, you can fit north America into Africa and still have space for India, Argentina, Tunisia and some left over
  • Map suggests Scandinavian countries are larger than India, whereas in reality India is three times the size.

Even in illustrating the Maps, there was a high degree of prejudice applied. For instance, north America looks larger, or at least as big, as Africa, and Greenland also looks of comparable size

In reality, you can fit North America into Africa and still have space for India, Argentina, Tunisia and some left over.

So, we have just proven that even the world map we have relied on for centuries are inaccurate not by human error, but by deceitful intent to diminish the lesser developed countries.  Fortunately, God’s makes give no preference to any specific person, country or even to the highest spiritual leaders.

Jesus gave us more than a glimpse of His Kingdom, it is fully described in the book of Revelation, and beyond this, He made you a Joint-Heir to be an owner.

The Holy Bible is still the single best seller of all times. The author is God… as we read from Genesis to Revelation, the oldest book is JOB written by an ‘unknown’ author.

Preface… if we knew everything then we would be God. So, as the Bible said… professing to be wise, they became fools…

Romans 1:22

Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools.

The book of JOB is written relating God’s experience and as a testament of His love and protection provided to Job. Even though Job suffered many adverse things, including losing his family, his wealth and his health, he never cursed God. In fact, in the midst of his plight and suffering from sores, Job said…

 Job 19: 23-27 NIV

“Oh, that my words were recorded, that they were written on a scroll, that they were inscribed with an iron tool on lead or engraved in rock forever! I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see him with my own eyes —I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!

Job 19:23-27 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Job%2019:23-27&version=NIV

The topic that all things including us are the Lord’s and the Good News is that He said; He came that we will have an abundant life and to have it ‘More’ abundantly… so Jesus revealed the ‘Double-Portion’ that He has prepared for each of us.  Jesus was saying… the best is yet to come when he said that we will have a ‘more-abundant’ life and this is when we shall see Him.

TEXT: Ephesians 1: 3-12 Redemption in Christ

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Lord use me and let Your Kingdom be broaden and grant our Visitors safety and as You said Lord. ” You will never leave us nor forsake us”, To You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore, in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus we pray… Amen.

Reminder to our visitors, keep looking to our Lord to be the Author and Finisher of our Faith… God Loves you, and come to Jesus as He is our Mediator and our Sovereign God in One of His Divine Holy Trinity in His Father our Creator and His Holy Spirit.

Key note for today… If we think Earth is a place to enjoy ourselves, wait till we get there as His kingdom Is a place on Joyful Splendor.  Play the video and get a glimpse of what Joy we all shall have Praising our Eternal Lord.

              Grace + Faith= Salvation from Jesus. – Faith + Salvation = Power & Victory…

Jesus said… John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. In Context | Full Chapter

Are you having an abundant life? Jesus came for this reason, so why aren’t everyone having the ‘Abundant-life’ that Jesus said He brought to us?

The answer is sure you do have His Abundant life… What? Let us tell you about His Abundance. In our daily lives, we may not feel that we have an ‘abundance’ but in realty we do, and we may be taking it for granted.

So, one could say yes, I have a life, of a routine, a job, a workplace, a family, a home and a payday, and oh yes, I have a spiritual life. But my spiritual life is not on fire, with a zeal to serve. So, all this amounts to a routine… ho-hum type of life, and where is the abundance?

Consider this… a Job, a family, a home and a pay check, these are not just essential but a good basis, and then… the ‘More-Abundant’ is already there when you know the Lord. As Jesus provided you with His eternal ‘Providence’

So, the equation of Grace + Faith= Salvation from Jesus. – Faith + Salvation = Power & Victory… is granted by His covenant…

2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Good things will only occur in the ‘Fullness’ of time, by God’s Timing

Galatians 4:4

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, In Context

Ephesians 1:10

that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. In Context |

It is all by God’s timing, regardless of what we do, we may set time table of what we will do and even set the dates. But the Will of the Lord is what governs the event. And the greatest event of all times is… the Birth of our Savior Jesus in the fulness of His time He came and was crucified, and Rose triumphantly, and He conquered the evil one, and Redeemed us.

Moses was eighty (80) years old when God chose him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.

So, don’t worry how old you are, and yet the Lord has not asked you to do anything. Guess what? He did….

This is what the Lord has commanded us to do:

Acts 1:8

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” In Context |

Acts 13:47 For this is what the Lord has commanded us: “‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity… Lord Jesus Messiah, Lord bless all Visitors coming to this Good news Website and let your Word be received and grant to us all Your peace; we ask this in Your precious name, and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Test the spirit, Christ must be named to be the ‘True’ Holy Spirit of the Lord.

Acts 2:1

The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost] When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. ...

The manifestation of the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples.

Love for God and One Another] Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. ...

Miracles Glorify Christ

11 Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

13 Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, [a]“We [b]exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.” 14 Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so.

15 And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”

16 Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, [c]overpowered them, and prevailed against [d]them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 17 This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. 18 And many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds. 19 Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them, and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver. 20 So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.

Here we see the imposter attempting to exorcise an evil spirit using the name of Jesus. Even the evil spirit responded by attacking the impostor.

The Trinity is not mentioned in to Bible… however, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is mentioned.

Devotionals for Wednesday: December 12, 2018

Lean not on your own understanding, seek God’s Will, it’s always good

Two thirds of the Psalms were written by David. We know what David was best known for. David slew Goliath, and the event of David and Bathsheba; these two events made him famous.

But he should be more famous as he wrote most of the Psalms expressing his love and trust in God.

The 23rd Psalms ‘The Lord is my Shepherd’, this along with John 3: 16 and the beloved chorus...”Jesus loves me this I know’, All there are the revelation of God’s love for us.

John 3: 16 revealed the real reason why Jesus came… Because of what our fore-parent Adam and Eve did, as God said…

Genesis 2:17

but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” In Context |

God loved us so much, but being God, He could not die for us… So, He sent Jesus who was born of a virgin, Jesus was fully Man, but also as the Incarnated One in God the Father. So, Jesus died and paid the penalty for our sin. And through the Divine Crucifixion at Calvary, the Blood of Jesus provided the remission of our sins.  Though His Blood we were pardon; and by His Divine Resurrection Jesus rose triumphantly to a life-everlasting.

This Christmas when you give make it a true gift and not an intended ‘Exchange’ God wants a ‘cheerful giver, not just a somber ‘seeker’… So, cheer-up and know that you are called today to bring your ‘first-fruit’ to God as He is the head, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, and His end is endless because He is Eternal.

Now, being made perfect but becoming defective, you may say we are being insolent by saying you and we are being defective.  Consider these parameters:

  1. First if we were ‘Perfect’ then Christ would not have to come and die for our defectiveness as we were already perfect.

  1. If we are already perfect, then we make our Lord a liar, as He said all have sinned and fall short of God’s Glory.

  1. If you or us can get to heaven on our own, then I, the writer prefers not to go, why? Because all who got there will be bragging of how they did this and did that and how all their good deeds got them there. Life will be miserable listening to these bragging stories.  So, those that die with the most toys do not believe that these trinkets will get you into God’s Kingdom.  There’s only one way…

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Since He (Jesus) is the Author and Finisher of our Faith when you seek Him first, therefore; we must know the following important factors for our daily living:

  • There can be no half-measure in coming to Him
  • He must be Preeminent above all things, cast away all idols*
  • You cannot mock God, so let us not do what Jonah did by running away
  • Spend quiet time reviewing your life’s event to see why you may follow Him
  • Do not live in the past, He said our sins are forgiven and forgotten and removed as the East from the West
  • Live by Deeds to give Him the Glory and not by just words
  • Finally, don’t be discouraged even in challenging times, know that Jesus is in Control, and He is Faithful, so when you pray, pray that all will be for His Glory and not for His providence to be used for your own pleasure. This is what the bible said.

Remember we cannot ‘test-drive’ being a Christian, you are either for Christ of against Him…

Conclusion: Philippians 4: 4-9   Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

His Promise: Haggai 2:19 (NASB)

19 Is the seed still in the barn? Even including the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree, it has not borne fruit. Yet from this day on I will bless you.’”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, in Jesus we come. Do this…   Stay the Course, do not be deterred by any fear, stay in faith and Hope…

Do not do what Peter did… he looked away while walking on the water to go to Jesus. Peter took his eyes off Jesus looked down at the waves and started to sink.

Matthew 14:

25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear.

27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, [c]“Be of good cheer![d]It is I; do not be afraid.”

28 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”

29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw [e]that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”

31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” 32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.

33 Then those who were in the boat [f]came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.”

Sometimes we get a little out of our comfort zone and start to think about the ‘what-ifs’ and fear that things are not working out as planned. But a plan founded on the foundation of trust, dedication and the Will of the Lord should not be questioned.

So, remain in faith, stay the course and trust in the Lord.

Text: Hebrews 4:15-16  (NIV)

15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Commentary:

Back when man was living in caves, God made Spiders that had the technology of making a ‘Trap-Door’ for their habitats.  When man was trying to fish, the bears were feasting on salmon. God had to provide daily food drops to His people in the journey to Canaan. Even today there are millions still unable to feed themselves around the world, and even in this land of plenty … The United states of America!

Jesus said… “ I come so that you may have life and have it more abundantly” , so what’s the reason why so many are suffering?  The answer is simple, did we say simple? Yes… the root cause of it all is the exploitation of mankind by their fellow man.  An example in a poverty-stricken nation that had an outbreak of Cholera, the life-saving medicine was shipped in and a team of physicians went to this country, but the medicine was not available to be administered, why? The greed of men, they wanted to be ‘bribed’ before they would release the medicine, while hundreds were dying daily, the greedy government customs officials stood by with their hands outstretched looking for money.  This is an example of how many suffer from mal-nutrition and diseases that plagues the population of society.

So, remain in faith, stay the course and trust in the Lord.

Conclusion:

Millions are attending church services, let us remember the ‘Real’ reason why we attend churches… To Praise our King, not to just feed our souls, and hope for wealth.  He already knows what we need before coming.  What our Lord want from us is our Faith in Him… for His greatest Gift: Live Everlasting with HIM, just as he told the repentant thief on the cross, ‘Today you will be with me in Paradise’…

Philippians 4:13 (NIV)

13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength. †

Let us give Thanks to the Lord for His mercies, His Gracious Gift and His coming Return…

Coming to the Lord: These are the saying of Jesus…

  1. Mark 10:15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

One day He will leave the Throne why? To come and get those waiting on Him, and the final gathering will be exclusive. The word ‘Exclusive’ means to exclude by a select inclusion. Be part of this inclusion by accepting His great Salvation as He already Paid your ransom and is ready to include you in this great ‘Exclusive Gathering’.

Prayer:

Father we come in Jesus our Savior our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord, keep us on the narrow pathway to Your Kingdom by Your Grace.  Bless our Visitors, Lord grant to our visitors your Grace and Your peace and let Your Word be absorbed for Your Glory Lord.  We thank You for the privilege of serving, and we Pray that Your favors will be released upon all calling upon You and To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

God will finish what He has started, and in you His Plan, He will complete…

God will only start goodness in our lives… and the good that He has sown in us He will nurture and bring it to maturity. One may wonder what is that ‘Goodness’ is it always for His own Glory?

Some examples of whom God chose to be blessed with His ‘Goodness’ were not benevolently declared, as in the case of Joseph, whom his brothers sold, and subsequently saved them, or Moses, who God chose to serve the nation of Israel. We see that Job who lived a rich life, suffered the loss of his fortune and health, but; God restored it all and more. In the case of Boaz, who married Ruth and played a part in the lineage of Jesus, all the ‘Goodness’ in these men were guided by the Lord.

So, today as Scripture said…  Philippians 1:6

Lean not on your own understanding, seek God’s Will, it’s always good

Two thirds of the Psalms were written by David. We know what David was best know for.

Lord as we continue in faith reaching our Visitors let there be just One that will come to know You Lord and be counted among the Joint-Heirs in You Lord Jesus. Lord let Your messages be like ‘Wild-Fire’ spreading across the globe so that your prophecy will be fulfilled as we look to that day Lord when we shall see You as You are. To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

1 John 2:1 New King James Version (NKJV)

2 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. New King James Version (NKJV)

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come and Lord Jesus as our Advocate and through You Lord Jesus we are able to be presented to the Father.  Father we thank You for Your Son Jesus and Lord Jesus we thank You for hearing our prayers. Lord we bring You our Visitors and we seek Your Divine blessings on us all. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday: December 8, 2108

If God is for you no one can be against you, what a great position to be in?

The Power of the Holy Spirit is greater than any person, forces or whatever.  We have read about the man of God whom He bestowed His Holy shield surrounding them.

Men like, Joseph, Moses, Job, Joshua, Elijah, Elisha, David, Paul and John…

Topic:  Unstoppable… Our Lord is Unstoppable, because He is Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotent.

Focus:

We think we know it all, and there’s so much we do not know.  Because all we know is what we see, and as they say…seeing is believing, therefore all of our desires are based on what we can imagine based on what we do or is capable of doing.

Think on this… For sure Moses was thinking of going to the Promised Land, all through the 40 years of leading a few million people through the wilderness, for sure Moses had his desires of entering Canaan.  But we all know that Moses did not enter Canaan. The Lord allowed him to see the land, but he did not get there.

Was Moses’ plan a failure? Or was it a choice made by God? Obviously, it was a decision made by God.  The burial site of Moses nor his remains are nowhere to be found. But we read of Moses and Elijah returning to earth to confer with Jesus.

Just like Moses, we too may be looking at a more fulfilled life, a life of tranquility, a life with financial security, a healthy and long life; but like Moses God may have a more important assignment for each of us.

Join the winning team… Be a Victor and not the victim. Pray the Jabez prayer…

The four key points in the Prayer of Jabez are:

(To the Lord)

Oh. That You would bless me indeed,

And enlarge my territory,

That Your hand would be with me,

And that You would keep me from evil.

1: Seeking the Blessing from the Lord

2: Asking for the Lord’s providence to enlarge his Territory

3: Asking the Lord to keep His hands on him

4: Seeking to abide in the Lord and having God’s shield from the evil one.

While Jabez’s prayer may appear to be ‘self-serving’... Jabez was earnestly praying to have his territory enlarged and by this he meant having a mission field to give God the glory.  Jabez probably applied the principle of logics knowing if he received the blessing of God and had his territory enlarged, like every human-being when we get to this level the most important thing, we need is to have the hands of God over us to keep us from being arrogant. And Jabez addressed this knowing that having the ‘enlarged’ territory usually leads to vulnerability from the fiery arrows of the evil one.

Commentary:

Just like the prayer of the sinner that said, Lord forgive me for I am a sinner…

Join the winning team and keep praying this prayer knowing that the primary intention that the gift and grace from the Lord are to be used for His Glory.

The first gifts brought to Mary and Joseph with Jesus in the manger is an example of bringing the ‘First-Fruit’ to The Lord.

2018 years ago, the wise men came to Bethlehem and ministered to the new-born King…

2 Corinthians 2:14

14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.

from Ephesians 3:20 NKJV  When we serve others by spreading the Good News, we are sprinkling the Fragrance of our Lord Jesus, and we also get the sweet smelling fragrance on ourselves… meaning that we are privileged to be a Vessel bearing the sweet smell of our Lord and Redeemer, and while we spread His Fragrance our Lord also blesses us with His Grace…

2 Corinthians 2:15   15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 4-10 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are, we will be. Lord be with our Visitors, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday:  December 7, 2018

The sun standing still? Yes, it did happen. All things are possible in Christ.

Joshua 10:13

So, the sun stood still, And the moon stopped, Till the people had revenge Upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So, the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.

Habakkuk 3:11

The sun and moon stood still in their habitation; At the light of Your arrows they went, At the shining of Your glittering spear.

The longest day is about the Allies landing at Normandy for ‘D-Day’ Both events were wartime experiences. While Joshua was fighting a war against the enemies of Israel. The landing at Normandy is a similar event in another war.

On our personal level, we all have a constant battle, a war with the tempter, the evil one, that continues to remind us of our sins that were forgiven.

Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the westSo far has He removed our transgressions from us. And it is no longer remembered.

Romans 4:7

“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered;

The road to Victory is littered with lots of detour signs, Turn your GPS to (God’s Providential Sanctuary) let your destination be His Sanctuary of Splendor and avoid the pitfall of the devil.

The old Sunday’s school chorus of; ‘Jesus loves me this I know’… is  an ideal precursor when we were innocent in the shadows of our parents and having early gathering in Jesus name…

In our digital age, the generation of youngster are more analytical, with more knowledge of logics, and the same does for the adults. So this favorite theme of ‘Jesus Loves You” is now passé’? no, but to  proactively quote this without the reason of Jesus’ Love, it is incomplete as the Love of Christ is undeserved and to say Jesus loves you while the person being addressed in well entrenched in sin, without the factor of ‘Compassion’ and Mercy and Redemption, the message is incomplete.

So today we want to expound the real reason why Jesus loves you…before going to the reason, we want to recap the following:

  • Jesus if the Incarnate God of the Trinity, He is the First born of the Father Creator in His Holy Spirit
  • Jesus is declared as God in One of the Father Creator
  • Jesus was there from the beginning in the Garden of Eden
  • No one has ever seen God, except Jesus
  • We are all created in the image of God, and when God said, “Let US make man in our likeness” He was with Jesus.
  • Being made in the image of God, we live forever, as God never dies
  • Jesus came to Redeem us for the sin that we inherited from Adam
  • We now have the Salvation to Life-Everlasting thought Jesus’ Crucifixion & Resurrection
  • And He said when we accept Him, we are made ‘Children of God’
  • And being ‘Born-Again’ we are ‘Joint Heirs’ to His Kingdom
  • Jesus Ascended to His Kingdom and  sits on the Throne of Righteousness
  • Jesus is our Mediator, as the Bible said, there in One Mediator between man and God, and He is Christ Jesus

His Promise:

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 NASB

1 John 5:14-15 (NASB)

14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

Conclusion:

We all know of the 23rd Psalm, The Lord is my Shepherd… We think it should read; I am a sheep in my Lord’s flock, and I shall not want.  While our Lord referred to himself as a Shepherd, we prefer to say… He is the Owner of the flock, and He cares for us. No, we are not re-writing the Bible Text, but our Lord is the Sovereign Eternal God, and not a ‘Shepherd’ like David who was a shepherd-boy.

Hebrews 3:15

While it is said, “Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as when they provoked Me.”

John 10:10  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,

2 Peter 1:11 for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that 2,018 years ago when You came to earth, You came so that we will have life and have it more abundantly. Lord we thank You for Your Covenant of Grace, and it is by Your Grace that we are saved.  Bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Peace as we thank you for Your Favors, as You have said…that all things work for Good to those that loves You Lord. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to you is the Power and the Glory, now and Forevermore. Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday:  December 6th, 2018

God can fix everything, so ask Him and he will do it. Just be in Faith…

Because all things were created by His Grand design as God said….

Let there be Light… Genesis 1:3

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. In Context

Be aware that on the first day of creation, there was no Sun, but it was Jesus His Son who is the Light, and be aware that the Sun was not yet created until the fourth day…

Genesis 1 New King James Version (NKJV)

The History of Creation

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness [a]was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. [b]So the evening and the morning were the first day.

One the 4th day…

14 Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; 15 and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. 16 Then God made two great [d]lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. 17 God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 So the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Because Jesus was there from the beginning of creation, as we affirm this by His Word…

Colossians 1:16

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

In Context |

Colossians 1:17

And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

In Context |

Colossians 1:18

And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. In Context

So, knowing that all things were created by Jesus… Therefore, He can fix anything. And our broken lives and all other things that need fixing.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. In Context

While we have God’s assurance of a future filled with Hope.  So, when you have been blessed and are well endowed, be careful that He God is always Preeminent and the things that He has provided are solely just things and shall not become idols in our lives.  And always he gets the First Fruit.

Let us remember that His Providence is to be minded with careful stewardship as He reminds us by the text below.

Jeremiah 22:21

I spoke to you in youprosperity, But you said, ‘I will not hear.’ This has been your manner from youyouth, That you did not obey My voice. In Context

Let us have that ‘Sweet hour of Prayer’

Sweet hour of prayer
Sweet hour of prayer
That calls me from a world of care
And bids me at my Father's throne
Make all my wants and wishes known
In seasons of distress and grief
My soul has often found relief
And oft escaped the tempter's snare
By Thy return, sweet hour of prayer.

Sweet hour of prayer
Sweet hour of prayer
The joys I feel, the bliss I share
Of those whose anxious spirits burn
With strong desires for Thy return
With such I hasten to the place
Where God my Savior shows His face
And gladly take my station there
And wait for Thee, sweet hour of prayer…

2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of  a sound mind

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus today we gather in Your Holy Presence as we seek Your Divine Grace and blessings on our Visitors. Thank You Lord for the opportunity to serve for Your Glory. In You Lord Jesus we have victory because You have given us a sound mind of Hope and Power by Your Holy Spirit. Devotionals for Wednesday December 45th, 2018

If you could know the future would you like to know it? Yes and No…

Yes, if the answer was a positive one, and no if the answer was a disappointing one, then it may not be good to know…

The Good News of the Gospel will never disappoint anyone, we can rest assured that the answer from the Lord will be a positive one.

You may say… can I really question the Lord? Yes, Moses did, and God answered him.

11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”

12 So He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

13 Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”

Remember God said.

14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ” 15 Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’

Focus.    Use the Providence of the Lord wisely, it is all His, we are to use it for His Glory...

God can do whatever He wants to get  done,  but why did He choose Moses? Is God calling you  to serve Him?

Moses could have said… why choose me? In fact, Moses did say this, he said he was a poor communicator, and God said don’t worry about it, all will be well.

God called Saul, he could have used someone else,  but He chose Saul, who was a corrupt person, a persecutor of Christians. Yet we see Paul whom Jesus chose being a Followers of Christ were among the founders of the church in Antioch, followers of Christ were first called Christian when the church of Antioch was formed.

So, we see the outcome of God’s calling of Moses to lead His people to the Promised Land, and we see the result of Saul who later was known as Paul.

Listen to God’s calling and follow Him, how do we know it is God who is calling, just as how the Lord told Moses, do not worry about being a poor communicator, just be still and know that He is God.

Go to the Lord in prayers, seek His guidance, pray that his Holy Spirit will lead you.

We end this short dialogue by giving thanks to our Gracious Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ, and we thank Him and ask His blessings upon each of our Visitors in His Holy Name knowing that He is in our Midst, so, Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Conclusion:

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord Jesus today we are privileged to be presented to the Father by your Righteousness and by Your Grace we are made worthy to be in the Holy Presence of the father.  We thank You and we give You our praises as we present our Visitors so that Your Divine blessing will be upon us all. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Why do bad things happen to ‘good’ people? An age-old question, Why?

Who is a ‘good’ person? Yes, there are many good people among us, and sometimes they do suffer adversities. We don’t have the answer, but only God knows why a good person may be afflicted with a deadly decease.

Jesus said… Mark 10:18 New International Version (NIV)

18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone.

Even the apostle Paul experienced an affliction, as Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:9 [Full Chapter]

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

The suffering of Jesus… https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Colossians+1:24&version=NIV

Colossians 1:24 New International Version (NIV)

Paul’s Labor for the Church

24 Now I rejoice in what I am suffering for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church.

Jesus, The Christ was fully man, and is God Incarnate. Jesus suffered, and He is the perfect example of how bad things happen to a Good person.

Jesus is the Risen Christ, the Holy anointed One of the Father, as declared from heaven…

Matthew 17:5  While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”  In Context |

So, let us hear Him, Jesus is calling…

Philippians 3:14 [Full Chapter]

I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Jesus our Redeemer came to reconcile us with the Father who loves us so much He sent Jesus…

The Supremacy of Jesus…

Colossians 1: 9-22 NKJV

Preeminence of Christ

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood,[c] the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Reconciled in Christ

19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight

Let us Praise the Lord... as He is Mighty to Save, and He reigns supreme and He is our Redeemer who Lives, and on that day we shall all See Him as He is.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come, Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of our Father and His Holy Spirit, Lord we come this day to Praise You and lift You up before all knowing that you Lord sits on the Throne of Righteousness interceding for us to the Father. Devotionals for Monday: December 3rd, 2018

When God doesn’t answer… Your request has not been granted, why?

God hears all petitions, and even those from a child. We may think that a child may ask for simple things or even silly things.

So, as a child sitting on Santa’s lap when asked by Santa… “Little girl what would you like for Santa to bring to your house?” the little girl said… I want my mom to be well, she is sick.  A little boy next in line, when he got to Santa, he was asked,” little boy, what would you like from Santa?” The little boy said… I want my dad to find a job as we are in need.

Some adult request is not answered as the Bible said…

James 4:3

You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

In Context |

But when you ask in the Name of Jesus, His response will be received, the answer may come in a different form from your request. This is because God know best and what we have need of. Because He said….

In our time of need He will be there…

Hebrews 4:16

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. In Context

Luke 11:9

Keep Asking, Seeking, knocking] “So I say to youaskand it will be givento you; seekand you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. In Context

Good News:  God will give us more than we deserve.

Commentary:  Just like when God told Moses that he was not allowed to cross into the Promised Land, Was God denying Moses the reward after Moses spent 40 years leading his people to Canaan? It certainly appeared unfair, but in Matthew we see Moses and Elijah appearing to Jesus at the Transfiguration.  Therefore, Moses was taken directly to Heaven and was not left at Mt. Pisgah.

Our God is not only a God of Love, He is a God with a sense of humor, just think of how God jammed the wheels of the chariots driven by Pharaoh’s soldiers chasing the Israelite crossing the Red Sea…

Exodus 14:25 New International Version (NIV)

25 He jammed the wheels of their chariots so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, “Let’s get away from the Israelites! The Lord is fighting for them against Egypt.”

Imagine the enormity of Moses ’daily routine, leading a nation on foot, a nation without a country.  Moses had 603,550 armed men for war if all those men were living at the time (Numbers 1:46). These were all able-bodied men from the age of twenty (Numbers 1:45) to the age of retirement at year fifty (Numbers 4:3; John 8:57) or sometimes sixty (Leviticus 27:7). Assuming all the women, children and older people over fifty (or sixty) are included, the number of Israelites who left Egypt would have numbered about two and a half million.

Moses led these ‘stiff-necked’ people for 40 years, a nation on foot going to a country that they were going to inhabit and how wonderful should this be when they get there.  But the good times in the Promised-land were full of travesties and disappointments because of wayward-living.  Again, we see the similarity of God settling humans in a land of ‘Milk & Honey’ and we squandered it all, which is an earlier event of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.

Are you in your own land of ‘Milk & Honey’ today? Are you focused on the precepts of the Lord?  Have you tried what Jesus said? He said; “Seek Him and His Righteousness first”.

The Lord made a ‘Covenant’ that no weapon formed against my people shall prosper.

Isaiah 54:17

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. Isaiah 54:16-17 (in Context)

As we go today a Monday starting the week, we have the assurance of our Lord that He not only promised good things for those who loves Him, but He promised to keep you till that day when you shall see Him. Just do as he said…

Matthew 6:33-34 (NKJV)

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Accept His Invitation today; come to our Lord as He is willing to accept you just as you are…

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come Lord knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and through You Lord Jesus we can be Redeemed as we come with a contrite heart seeking Your Forgiveness.   Lord we thank you for Your Saving Grace and our Visitors, Lord bless us all as we give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday:  December 2, 2018

The future is Now! With God His time is immortal, in Him our future is alive and well…

If you could get the date of the events that will occur in your life ahead of when it will happen, would you like to know:

  1. The date when I will marry
  2. The date when I will buy a new house
  3. The date when I will inherit a large fortune from a relative
  4. The date when I will be promoted to the top position in my company

Or:

  1. The date when I will lose my secure job
  2. The date when I will die
  3. Or the date when I will accept the Lord Jesus as my Savior.
  4. And the date when I will meet the Lord.

The obvious dates that we would like to have are 1 thru 4 and 7 thru 8, these are good.

5 & 6 represents failure and losses.

Good to remember and spread it around…

The Date for His Return is not yet known, but there are many clues and the following states clearly of His return.

Matthew 24:30-32 New King James Version (NKJV)

30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His [a]elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

The Parable of the Fig Tree

32 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.

2 Peter 3:10

The Day of the Lord] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. In Context

But above this God provided a way for you to be saved. Saved from what? the Wrath of God, why? Because as the Bible said…

Romans 3:10

As it is written: “There is none  righteous, no, not one; In Context

Only by the Righteousness of Christ, by His Redeeming Blood, we are made righteous.

And because of His Grace, we will not be judged, and His Word said…

Romans 8:1

Free from Indwelling SinThere is therefore nono condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. In Context

Many of our readers may say we are not writing anything new, as we already know this. But, for many these facts are new and sharing the Love of Christ and His Divine Grace is a privilege to be made known.  And, even if you already know that in Christ there’s salvation by His redemption and the assurance of being free from condemnation, it is a good re-assurance to reaffirm our faith in Him.

Father in Heaven, Lord Jesus we come and by Your Divine and Holy Presence in our midst, we come and give You or Praises. Lord bless our Visitors and we all go in Faith knowing that all thing works together for the Good of those who loves You. Lord we reaffirm our love by adoration and thank you for Your Divine Redemption as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.
