Who said… ‘Come let’s reason together? And why?

‘Come and buy without money… all you will ever need are here for ‘Free’

Isaiah 55:1 [ An Invitation to Abundant Life] “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.

Commentary:  As someone said…"Life is too short to be busy." (Tim Kreider) and we are saying… Life without Christ by being busy in this world will cause you to miss the stairway to His Kingdom… Jesus is there pointing the way.  Find Him and follow Him.

To qualify for special financing the source of your down payment must be monies that you own, or from a source that you can claim as a gift. It cannot be ‘Borrowed’ money. This criterion plus the disclosure of your debt owed must be declared and if you incur more debt while the application is in processing, then you will not qualify.  One may say that this is a tough set of rules, but if you are asking for special financing from a public source, you must comply and it is somewhat relevant that you ‘Prove’ your ability to make the monthly payments.

In God’s equation, you do not have to ‘prove’ anything, because God already knows you and your obligations, you are an ‘open-book’ in the sight of God. Just like when Jesus said to Nathanial… “I saw you under the fig tree”

John 1:50 Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” In Context | Full Chapter

We cannot ‘prove’ anything to God… because Jesus came to die for sinners, and this include us all, we cannot prove our righteousness, as all out righteousness are like a ‘filthy-rag’ If we could get to heaven without the Redemption of the Atoning Blood of Christ, then Jesus died in vain.   Galatians 2:21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” In Context | Full Chapter |

We cannot make our Lord a Liar, because the Bible said:  Romans 3:23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

In Context | Full Chapter  this means that we are all sinners and are all condemned to a second death… But Jesus came that we may have His Redemption by dying in our place.

Ephesians 1:7 [Full Chapter]

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Romans 3:24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, In Context | Full Chapter |

Ephesians 1:14 In Context | Full Chapter |

(Jesus) who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. In Context | Full Chapter |

Principles:

  1. Do not give permission to the evil one. Did you know the devil cannot use you unless you grant your permission to allow him?
  2. Why the devil does want your soul? Because you are worth a lot to Jesus
  3. The Power of Prayer... Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said…

John 14:3
And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

His Warning: Be aware of Jesus’ statement, He said ‘If”; why? Because while He was going, He would only build a place for those that are in Faith and the unbelievers would not be an heir to His Kingdom. (Therefore, His Kingdom cannot be claimed by an Atheist) Many of us read this and presumed that Jesus’ statement of Him going meant that ‘everyone’ would receive a ‘place’, there is no entitlement by default, and Jesus statement of “IF” was very specific to believers in Faith.

Only He (our Lord) knows the future…James 4: 14

Text:   James 4:14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

Prayer:

Gracious God our Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus because You are Holy and by Your Redemption we were redeemed by Your Grace, Lord by Your Sacrifice at Calvary we can come boldly to You Lord; as You said come and You will give us Rest. Lord today as we go forward in Faith, equip us and enable us by Your Holy Spirit and lead us to Green Pastures and Still Water of Life. We seek You Lord and Praise You for Your Unconditional Love and Thank You for Your Graciousness. In Your Holy Name, we pray Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

For what purpose did God choose you? To find out just ask Him...

Search me, O God, and know my heart today,

Try me, O Savior, know my thoughts, I pray;

See if there be some wicked way in me;

Cleanse me from every sin and set me free.

I praise Thee, Lord, for cleansing me from sin;

Fulfill Thy word and make me pure within;

Fill me with fire, where once I burned with shame;

Grant my desire to magnify Thy name.

Lord, take my life, and make it wholly Thine;

Fill my poor heart with Thy great love divine;

Take all my will, my passion, self and pride;

I now surrender, Lord, in me abide.

O Holy Ghost, revival comes from Thee;

Send a revival, start the work in me;

Thy Word declares Thou wilt supply our need;

For blessings now, O Lord, I humbly plead.

Dedicated to my beloved Sister’s passing and to all my loved ones in the presence of the Lord…

'Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus

Casting Crowns

'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,

Just to take Him at His Word

Just to rest upon His promise,

Just to know, "Thus saith the Lord!"

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!

How I've proved Him o'er and o'er

Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!

Oh, for grace to trust Him more!

I'm so glad I learned to trust Him,

Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend

And I know that He is with me,

Will be with me to the end.

Oh, how sweet to trust in Jesus,

Just to trust His cleansing blood

And in simple faith to plunge me

'Neath the healing, cleansing flood!

Yes, 'tis sweet to trust in Jesus,

Just from sin and self to cease

Just from Jesus simply taking

Life and rest, and joy and peace.

Prayer:

Today Lord Jesus we dedicate into Your hands the abiding souls of my beloved sister in Your Holy Presence. Lord we thank You for Your Majestic Grace, as You have declared us to be Your friends, Yet Lord Your Majesty is on High and no one is above You.  Lord we declare that You Lord Jesus our Redeemer is on the throne of Righteousness. Lord bless our Visitors as we go in faith knowing that all things work together for the Good for all that love You and we Delight ourselves in You Lord Jesus. Amen.

Can you say… ‘My Redeemer lives, and I will see Him’? If you can, Praise God.

Your immediate future and an everlasting future, place it in God’s hands

You have the ability to choose which way you want to go. You have to believe great things are going to happen in your life. Do everything you can - prepare, pray and achieve - to make it happen. Ben Carson

For sure ‘Great things are going to happen’ because Jesus said so…

As we read the news events of the day one could wish for the simpler times of life, when there was less stress, less strife.  Our world is a world of a constant battle and there are really no simpler times.

The battle started in the Garden of Eden when Eve was tempted by the serpent. And this ‘serpent’ was the devil.  Now we may wonder why did God allow the devil to enter the Garden of Eden?  Because Adam and Eve were made in the likeness of God, created with ‘Free-will’ and the devil is always roaming seeking those he can destroy.  The devil was cast out of heaven and even now this evil one is lurking seeking to tempt you and me.

Adam and Eve were not robots and so are we… God gave Moses the Commandments and the purpose of this is to define Right from wrong.  We are given the freedom of choice.

God could have stopped the devil from entering the garden, God trusted Adam, and even after they went against God’s command of ‘Not to eat of the tree’ God was not surprised, God knew beforehand that His creation of Man was good… but not yet ‘Perfect’

We are made ‘Perfect’ in Christ… not by our own ability, but by His Grace and through His Redemption we are cleansed as we are covered by His Divine Blood, and through His Resurrection we are made Perfect.

Jesus is our Redeemer, and it is only through Him that we can come to God the Father. Just as when Adam and Eve sinned, Jesus who was there in the Garden and He did this…Genesis 3: 21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins and clothed them.

The killing of the animal from which God made the coats of skin for Adam and Eve, was the first step of what was to come.  Jesus who was there from the beginning, also came 2016 years ago to repeat this process for all mankind. When He went to the Cross and gave Himself for us so that we too would be ‘Covered’ by His Blood, and He Resurrected three days after the crucifixion to an everlasting life, so that we too who accepted Him will have life more abundantly.

John 10:10 The Word of Jesus…

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

So, the focus today of “Making it on your Own’ we can to a certain extent, but our ability is limited and on our own it leads only to a loop without ending. In Christ we are shown the way through Him as He provided the only way to His Kingdom.

Remember Jesus said…” I am NOT of this world” and He also said…

John 14:1-3

The Way, the Truth, and the Life

14 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions;[a] if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.[b] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Our Lord said that when we repent of our sins, He will not just mitigate them, He will cancel them, and He will forget them. let us accept our Lord’s Word of ‘Removal’ and we too must also forget and move forward in Joy knowing that we are ‘Forgiven’ and not to re-live the sin as the evil one would like to repeat the Temptation in our memory as ‘his bondage of sin’.  We need to thank our Lord for the infinite statement of HIS Love, His forgiveness and above all His Redemption by His Grace.

 Coming to our Lord:

Hebrews 4: 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need

Principle:

Jesus our Redeemer sets aside the Judgment of His Father…

By Jesus’ coming as a Man for us, by His Glory and Grace we are Saved…

The Battle is the Lord’s…

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Eternal Sovereign God in One of our Father and Creator and Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus; today we come to thank You for Your Love and Your Grace that provided Your Salvation by Your Resurrection to Life Ever-Lasting.  Lord we thank you Your Redemption from the condemnation that we deserve. Lord thank You for breaking the Bondage of sin and setting us free to be no more slave to the evil one, but by Your Grace we are saved and are given the rights to be called Children of the Almighty… We thank You Lord for our Visitors and lift You up before all. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

His Grace abounds and if is Freely given, to receive it, come to Christ...

Why you cannot blend into the crowd when you are a Child of God?

The ‘Halo’ effect, this is when a person stands out, usually by… characteristics that included such things as leadership, physical appearance, intelligence, loyalty, and dependability.

Why are you special? He made us a unique group because He has set us aside…  We are wrapped in cotton, protected and guided…

Jesus spoke of the Lost Pearl… and in more than one way He was expressing His own experience…

Jesus gave many examples of those that went astray and returned, such as the Prodigal son, and the story of the lost sheep.

We can adopt these examples to ourselves and in many ways, Jesus was expressing His own joy of finding us, as today we acknowledge Him and know that His Grace abounds in our life...  as God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Romans 5: 8 NKJV

Not only did Jesus redeemed us by His Divine Resurrection, He made us Joint-Heirs…

TEXT

Romans 8:16-18 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

1 Peter 2:8-10 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

and, “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”;

For they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this doom they were also appointed.

Through the Love and Divine Grace of our Lord Jesus He took us out of the trash-heap and set us apart…

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

His Faithfulness:

Christ Our Advocate

2 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

Hebrews 4:15-16 English Standard Version (ESV)

15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

1 John 5:3-4 English Standard Version (ESV)

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. 4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

English Standard Version (ESV)

EVENING:

Coming to our Lord:

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

The Words of Jesus… Luke 17:21 Good News Translation (GNT)

21 No one will say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ because the Kingdom of God is within you.”

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus we come… Lord Jesus we thank You for being our Advocate and as our Divine Redeemer, we like Job say… For I know my redeemer Lives! Lord Jesus bless our endeavors and bless our Visitors as we go in faith knowing that You have said be anxious for nothing as we give You our praises and we thank You for Your Providence. Matthew 7

Do Not Judge
(Luke 6:37-42Romans 14:1-12)

1“Do not judge, or you will be judged. 2For with the same judgment you pronounce, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

3Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but fail to notice the beam in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ while there is still a beam in your own eye? 5You hypocrite! First take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

6Do not give dogs what is holy; do not throw your pearls before swine. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.

Ask, Seek, Knock
(Luke 11:5-13)

7Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

9Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

12In everything, then, do to others as you would have them do to you. For this is the essence of the Law and the Prophets.

That ‘Broad’ Statement that Christ died for all, it is correct. But the caveat is…

The Narrow Gate
(Luke 13:22-30)

13Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it.

John 3:3

New International Version
Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.

To Willfully sin…

2 Peter 2 New International Version (NIV)

2 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.

For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment; if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)— if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. 10 This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh and despise authority.

17 These people are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. 18 For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of the flesh, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error19 They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity—for “people are slaves to whatever has mastered them.” 20 If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. 21 It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. 22 Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing in the mud.”

The Grace of God…

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Ephesians 2:8-9

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

Galatians 5:4

You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

Prayer:

Eternal Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus thank You for Your Grace Your, Love, Your Divine Redemption. We praise and give You the Glory now and forevermore. Lord bless our Visitors as we seek Your guidance and Your providence, Lord let us be good stewards. In You we delight Lord Jesus. Amen.

“I will see you in the morning” … a statement of joy, not a goodbye

By Peter Marshal, Chaplain U.S. Senate

Just before dying… ** Darling, I’ll see you in the morning. (Last words to wife, Catherine)

An excerpt from one of Peter’s Prayers in the Senate 1948

** Help us to see, O Lord, that “I” is in the middle of sin, and let no man among us think more highly of himself than he ought to think, to the end that we may be used of Thee and Thy service for the good of all mankind. (Senate, Feb. 5, 1948)

** Our Father, as we remember the great men who by their trust in Thee helped to give this nation its glorious heritage, remind us that we honor them best when we follow their good example. Give to the people of America, and to their leaders, the old-fashioned love of country that seeks to give rather than to get…. We ask Thee not for tasks more suited to our strength, but for strength more suited to our tasks. May we so live that the sacrifices that have been made for our liberty shall not have been in vain. (Senate, Feb. 11, 1948)

** Our Father give us the faith to believe that it is possible for us to live victoriously even in the midst of dangerous opportunity that we call crisis. Help us see that there is something better than patient endurance or keeping a stiff upper lip, and that whistling in the dark is not really bravery. Trusting in Thee, may we have the faith that goes singing in the rain, knowing that all things work together for good to them that love Thee. (Senate, March 22, 1948)

Commentary

Today I say the same to my beloved siter Dorothy that went home to be with the Lord today at 5:15 AM. We are saddened. But, by the Grace of the lord and His Divine Covenant that He will never leave us nor forsake us… and as said: to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We give God the Glory as Jesus Paid-it-all…

O praise the one who paid my debt
And raised this life up from the dead
O praise the one who paid my debt
And raised this life up from the dead
The worthy one
The only one
The worthy one

Jesus paid it all
And all to Him I owe

Prayer:

Heavenly Father today we thank You for Your Divine Grace and we are blessed knowing that what You have started You will finish, as we look to You as the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Lord bless our Visitors and we Praise You and give You the Glory. Now and forevermore… Amen.

Topic:  Walk in the Light… a Non-failing Light, never needs to be recharged, always On, never fading everlasting…

TEXT: Genesis 1:2-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was[a] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.

FOCUS:  The Sun was not placed in the heavens until the fourth (4) day….

Today as we say walk in the Light, a Non-Failing Light, this is Jesus who was declared by God on the first day of His Creation. Because Jesus is the Light of the world on the first Day, He, Jesus was and is the Supreme Eternal Son of God and He is One in the Father.

Devotionals for Saturday February 22nd, 2020

MORNING:

Topic:  Spending our time wisely, time is irredeemable, money can be recovered, experience is an imprint forever...

FOCUS: Could this day be the most perfect day in your life? Think of the best day you ever had, and today could be better…

No, it is not the day you get the keys to the new house or the new car, or the day you met your spouse, or any other happier times.  It is the day that you are able to receive the utmost gift from the Lord…

Material-Wealth is only useful on earth, but useless in heaven, only His Priceless Gift will last forever

Thoughts for the day:        The Bible is not a history book; it is all about our Messiah

TEXT: Ephesians 2:10

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.  Ephesians 2:9-11 (in Context) Ephesians 2 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:  What is the project that you are currently working on?  Each of us have a project in one form or another. It could be to excel in schools, getting good grades, excel in sports, achieving success in the venture that you have started, or just to manage your time, your resources and be comfortable.

God has a plan for each of us as He loves you, and His plans are fully outlined in this Best-Selling book of all times... The Holy Bible!

The Bible provides the answers to many of our everyday challenges…

The Cure for Anxiety is written in Matthew 6: 33

33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

For centuries men have been going on treasure hunts. Prospecting for Gold, mining precious metal and gemstones is a test of one’s patience.  You will read about the one person that found a large nugget or a sizable gemstone, but there are many prospectors that went broke without ever finding anything of worth.

Maybe everyone should spend more time reading the Bible… The Word of God said:

Ezekiel 47:12

Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.”

EVENING:

Hardship can be a treasure:  just like undergoing training. So, look at what we consider adverse situation to be a ‘rehearsal’ for Victory.  The best runners do a lot of training and their discipline will only yield benefit through a regimental training which is voluntary.  The discipline of the Lord is ‘mandatory’ as we all need to know when we get there to thank Him and not have to go back through the re-training.

Good News-Coming to the Lord:

Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer: Heavenly Father because of Jesus our Redeemer and through You Lord we have Victory and we can boldly declare that this day is the best day of all because Your Lord Jesus paid it all.  Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we ask Your Divine blessing on us all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday February 21st, 2020

MORNING:

Topic: Thinking of the ‘good Ole days’ nothing to worry about as we had the care of loving parents… you still do…

The innocence of a child, the care of loving parents and nothing to worry about.

Commentary:

Many of us are contented with the status quo in our lives, and this applies to all, a child growing up with the care of loving parents ought to be, a Teenager in senior years going unto to college starts getting a little anxious about the future, then growing into a career and getting settled a new plateau is achieved, having kids and then getting to the big 50 we then start looking at another mountain, so conquering the 60’s upwards we start to either slowdown and then our senior years set in with a view of the horizons of our future.  For many this plateau in the autumn of our lives can be a real challenge, because of the great unknown. Fortunately, for believers we can all recite the statement featured in the topic line of this narrative. Praise our Lord!

The above scenario is somewhat applicable to a better time in a world, why? could it be any of the following factors that have impacted our contentment?

A more informed world, because of the mass media and this information age?

A world of class standards and rising poverty for western civilization?

Separation of State and Church has been taken to the point of oblivion and absurdity.

A society that endorses alternative Lifestyle mocking our Lord.

A society that has lost the spirit of ‘Sportsmanship’ with too much emphasis on the almighty dollar?

Removal of Prayers in the name of our Creator and our Lord Jesus?

Governments with an agenda to create a secular society without recognizing our Creator?

Again, we want to reconfirm that this is a ‘Good-News’ Site, so why the gloom and doom? Because there’s still hope, ‘Where there’s life there’s hope’ for many this jargon is an idiom… but for us believers it is more than Hope, it is an opportunity to call on our Lord and He will hear us… and He can do miracles in our lives as He made the Iron Axe float for Elijah, and He can do this for each of us today. He will lead us to the Still Water of Life and to His Green Pastures as we seek Him.

He created us; He gave us the abilities of:

Because we are created in His Likeness… We will also live forever, as our God is Eternal, Forever. So, Choose where we will spend the glory years of our lives forever… Seek Him while He may be found…

His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 1:4

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:  Ephesians 1:3-5 (in Context) Ephesians 1 (Whole Chapter)

For meditation: We should never be ashamed to be seen hiding behind Jesus (Mark 8:38).

Conclusion:

There’s Hope in Christ… In Him alone Romans 3:25

God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—

Romans 3:24-26 (in Context) Romans 3 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God we come into Your Holy presence. Lord Jesus today we stand at the Cross knowing that You came and Paid-It-All, and that You are on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord all things point to the day that will be known as ‘The Day of The Lord’… By Your Grace Lord we can say come and come quickly as the prophecy of Your teaching are being fulfilled.

Father thank You in Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus, thank You for coming and thank you for Your Grace and by Your Divine Resurrection we have Victory in You. Lord as we sow the seeds of Your Righteousness, Lord let in fall on good ground and bear much fruit for Your Glory. Lord we thank You for the thousands that visited this Website as it is for Your Glory to bring many to you Lord. We ask Your blessing upon our Visitors and that all will come to You realizing Your Love and great Salvation through Your Sacrifice. Lord we are humbled by Your UN-Conditional love for us all. Lord bless us as we seek Your Divine leadership in our lives, and Your Holy Spirit to be in us, and we lift You up before all, knowing we serve you Lord Jesus our Eternal God in One of our Father and Creator and by Your Holy Spirit Lord let Your favors be granted to all.  To You Lord Jesus we give You the Praises and the Power and Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Remember:  Jesus is not the third-party bystander in our Prayers to the Father, He is our Mediator and without Him no one comes to the Father, therefore we always go to our Father in the Holy Name of our Jesus our Redeemer, It is through His Righteousness that we are able to be presented to the Father.

Devotionals for Thursday February 20, 2020

TOPIC:  Who can we help today? Can you help someone in need of physical, spiritual or financial support? Do it…

Looking at the life of Christ during His three+ years of His Ministry… We see the Lord healing many and on occasion He would be passing a crowd, and someone would call out to Him for help. It appears that the Lord was always ready to help others.

In reading the four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Jesus was never in need of help even on the Cross He never called for help, only to the Father. And when Jesus said to the Father…

Matthew 27:46

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

Jesus asked… My God, why have you forsaken Me?” This was because of that ‘Divine Moment’ when Jesus took our Sins to the Cross… and The scripture said… God will not tolerate Sin. As said in John 9: 31 31 Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him. 32 Since the world began it has been unheard of that anyone opened the eyes of one who was born blind.

Only through Christ…Our Redeemer we have the privilege of coming to the Father…

1 John 5:6

The Certainty of God’s Witness] This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.

So, by the Triune God of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we have this un-earned privilege which is by the Grace of our Lord…

Romans 5:17

Romans 11:6

And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

Romans 15:15

Nevertheless, brethren, I have written more boldly to you on some points, as reminding you, because of the grace given to me by God.

1 Corinthians 1:4

Spiritual Gifts at Corinth] I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God, which was given to you by Christ Jesus,

Recognizing that God’s Grace abounds in our lives as He has ‘Set us Apart’ and chose you as a special member of His Kingdom, so when you come to Christ claim this and then share this Joy with others.\

As we have said…if you knew the cure for cancer and did not tell anyone that would be evil… but we all know the cure that is greater than cancer, it is the Redemption of our souls by the Blood of Jesus.

So, knowing that our Gracious Lord has made a way for us all… let us not live by what we see, as Jesus paid It All.

1 Corinthians 15:10

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Matthew 9:6

But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

Matthew 26:28

For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Praise Him for His Graciousness and His Everlasting Salvation.

The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.Psalm 121:7-8 NKJV

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord Jesus we look up to up as Stephen did and saw You at the Right-Hand of God the Father. Today we acknowledge Your Preeminence and in You we have victory. Lord we give You the Glory and we thank You for Your Graciousness, Your Providence and above all Your Divine Redemption, as we look to that day when we all shall see You. Lord bless our Visitors and grant Your peace to each one as we are privileged to serve You for Your Glory. To You Lord Jesus is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday February 19, 2020

TOPIC: Now that you have wealth, self-satisfaction what more do you need? Guess what you are still lacking…

TEXT:  Luke 12:17-19 New King James Version (NKJV)

17 And he thought within himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?’ 18 So he said, ‘I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.”

The statement of…” Still Lacking” follows:

20 But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’

21 “So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”

Place your value of the treasures in Heaven… That new car will be just a piece of metal that will be obsolete in a few years.

Your money in the bank is eroding away as inflation is eating away at it.

Only what’s done for Christ will last…

The story of the wealthy person that died and told his accountant that all his money must be buried with him, his attorney came to the burial and asked the accountant, how much money will you be placing in the grave? The account said about a million dollars, they attorney quickly pulled out his check book and wrote a check for a million dollars and said, let me have the cash and place my check in the hole.

We all need what we refer to as ‘walk-around money’… but the disciples when sent by Jesus, they were told not to take anything with them.

Luke 9:2-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. And He said to them, “Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece.

Today we reflect on the instruction from Jesus…

Matthew 6:33-34 New King James Version (NKJV)

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

The Faithfulness of the Father…

Philippians 4:19 [Full Chapter]

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Jesus is the Same Yesterday, tomorrow and forever…

The assurance of Jesus to His disciples not to take bread, money or even a spare change of clothes, His Word still stands and we are assured of this…

Romans 8: 32-39

God’s Everlasting Love

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Praise the Eternal Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4:5

Devotionals for Tuesday February 18th, 2020

TOPIC: To whom do you turn to when you need help? Is there a 100% ‘Self-Sufficient’ person on this planet?

Focus: No man is an island…  from a sermon by the seventeenth-century English author John Donne. John Donne’s statement still stands even today with instant Emails, the Internet and what we call the age of information.

No establishment can be an island, the growth of an industry is by market penetration, and when the product is accepted and consumed by the masses then the business achieves success. Even the spreading of the Gospels cannot be isolated, it must be taken to the ends of the earth as commanded so by the Lord.

If someone claims to be 100% self-sufficient, he must be a very lonely person. God made us in His likeness and He said it is not good for man to be alone, so He made a woman.

Jesus is our ‘Go-To’, He is our Protector our provider and our Redeemer.  In the sequence outlined Jesus protects us, and by His Providence He provides and by His Grace He saves us.

Many may say…” Why do I have to be saved?” these are the reasons…

An Animal does not have to be saved, why? Animals were created for man, and God gave us dominion of all animals.

Mankind was created by God in His Image, Mankind is the only creation that God made with His own hands.

All other creations were spoken into being.

Being made in the likeness of God, we are an exact facsimile of the Divine Almighty…

Being made in the Image of God, we too shall never die…

In life if you commit a crime and you are caught you will be punished, in the realms of the Almighty God, He sees everything and you do not have to be caught, not do you have to even commit the act, just thinking can be an act of offending the Lord.  But thinking because we are tempted, God made a way for us to overcome the temptation and relieve us of the guilt.  We have not sinned until we participate in the temptation.

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

In Context | Full Chapter |

So we all are God’s creation and as such, we will never die… therefore, the Words of God that said…

“It is appointed unto to man once to die, but after that there is a judgment”, The point is, if we will be around after the physical death, then we must come to Christ and receive His Grace…

Romans 10:13New King James Version (NKJV)

13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Philippians 4: Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Let us spend this moment Praising our Lord and thanking Him for His mercies and His Divine Redemption.

In life, they say count the pennies and the dollars will take care of itself… So Choosing Christ, making Him the Author and Finisher of our Faith will let all things fall in-line.  Yes, we will have challenges, a there is always a constant battle against the evil one, but we have Victory…

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Jesus Messiah we are privileged to be called to love one another as You have loved us. Lord bless our Visitors and grant each and every one Your providence as we know You know our needs even before we ask or even think it.  Lord we thank You knowing that You will lead us in triumph in You our Sovereign Eternal God. Lord we thank You for the privilege of bringing Your Good News to these sites and we seek Your continued blessings that many will come to know You Lord.  Lord we give You the Glory and to You is the Power and thine is the Kingdom, now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday February 17, 2020

TOPIC:  Are you living life without a care, or a life with lots of ‘care’? The difference of ‘Need’ versus ‘want’

In live there are individuals that can live their lives without a care… and some of the traits that this practice could mean that we have no concerns for others, not really.  Living without a care can still means that you care, but you have faith in the Lord who said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you”.

The definition of ‘Care’ is… the provision of what is necessary for the health, welfare, maintenance, and protection of someone or something.  Application of Care does not have to be with anxiety, worry or be troubled.

Anxiety and worry is caused by self-dependency, and we all know our capacity. Our ability to be ‘on the spot’ to take care of someone is limited to our tasks that conflicts with being there for that person 24/7.

When we think that all things revolve around us and we are the prime provider and controller of events that occur in our lives, we will forever be with anxiety, worry or be troubled.

Living without a ‘Care’ is not being careless or not having concerns for others… This care-free practice can be a healthy and a practical way for us to have ‘quality’ time to do constructive things that benefits us and others.  So, this oxymoron statement of being ‘Carefree’ and yet doing good for others, how can this be?  Being worrisome is like this…We can sit in a passenger seat while the Pilot is landing the aircraft, you can worry about the landing process and mentally do the check list… Airspeed, line up, flaps, leading edge, landing gears etc. while you expect these sequences to occur, nothing you do will help the pilot land that plane. So this is an example of being carefree.  Hopefully the pilot is an experienced flyer as they say… Takeoff is optional, but ‘Landing’ is mandatory.

Our Lord is Supreme, Preeminent and He has our back as he said… Cast all our cares upon Him.

TEXT:

1 Peter 5:6-8 (NKJV)

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

John 1:17-19(NKJV)

17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

1 Corinthians 8:6

yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live…

2 Corinthians 6:18

“I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.”

We all have a standing invitation to come to Christ, and even bring Him our burdens.

Think on This:  Jesus our Lord who came to redeem us, He came to ‘Serve’ not to be ‘Served’.  Everyone of us want to be ‘Served’... be like Christ, look around as serve others by telling them of the Good News… He is Risen!

Good News-Coming to the Lord:

Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…

Prayer: Our Father in Heaven in Jesus we come. Thank You Lord Jesus that through You our Savior we are made Joint-Heirs to Your Kingdom. The amazing Grace through His Love. What blessing He has given us…

Psalm 107:21 Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing ...

... Let them give thanks to the LORD for his loyal love, and

for the amazing things he has done for people! ...

  Isaiah 55:6

Turn to the Lord and pray to him, now that he is near.

The Righteousness of Jesus is Pre-Eminent, and He did not claim to be the greatest nor wanted the title ‘The Great’ but His Humbleness and willingness to be the Lamb of God for mankind is more than we can comprehend.

Jesus never claimed to be Great, He claimed to be the Son of God, He never wanted to be king, yet He was King of kings, and one day this ‘Great’ King will return to be King of kings and Lord of lords.

So, looking at the so-called ‘The Great’ we can look at the art piece of Buddha’s remain in a box on the back of a Horse being taken to his final resting place, where he was return to dust.  But our Christ exited the Tomb and we can look at an empty tomb knowing our Jesus rose triumphantly and walked among His disciples for 40 days and then ascended to heaven.

Remember Jesus said… the Least among you shall become the greatest, the first shall be last and the last to be first.  So today are you feeling that you are not good enough, or you do not know enough and are passed by and left to be last?   Jesus said ‘Pick up your cross and follow Him’ what is your cross?  Your Cross is your resolve of knowing that Jesus is your Redeemer, as the sole purpose of His journey to earth was to die for you, and by His blood we are cleaned and are saved from the inherent sin of our forefather Adam.

Evening:

Jesus is Faithful, If we have Faith we can do all things through Christ. Ask and your will receive:  When you ask “in-His Name’ and believe we will receive His Providence.

Romans 8:37-39 (NKJV)

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Good News...

You certainly do not deserve a bad experience. Above this all, God through Jesus our Redeemer saved us from His wrath. What an amazing Gift, through His Grace.

Are politicians spreading their disillusion to the public?  Or is it considered lies?

To misrepresent the fact, it is not a distortion, this is a lie, and when carried out with intent to deceive, this becomes an act of deception.  Deception is construed to be fraudulent.

Fraud is a broad term that refers to a variety of offenses involving dishonesty or "fraudulent acts". In essence, fraud is the intentional deception of a person or entity by another made for monetary or personal gain.

If this law was enforced most politicians would be in jail…

Plagiarism is considered academic dishonesty and a breach of journalistic ethics. It is subject to sanctions like penalties, suspension, and even expulsion. Recently, cases of 'extreme plagiarism' have been identified in academia.

Plagiarism is not considered a crime, but can constitute copyright infringement. In academia and industry, it is a serious ethical offense. [

The extreme consequences of Plagiarism are documented below…

Acts 19: Miracles Glorify Christ

11 Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.13 Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.” 14 Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so.

15 And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”

16 Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them,[c] so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 17 This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. 18 And many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds. 19 Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them, and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver. 20 So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.

It is amazing that even the ‘evil-spirit’ knew of Jesus and Paul, but the imposters were overpowered and beaten.

 God will not be Mocked….

Text: Proverbs 9:10
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Proverbs 9:9-11 (in Context) Proverbs 9 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:

What is considered ‘Mocking our Lord’? The word Mock is defined as…

1: to treat with contempt or ridicule: deride

2: to disappoint the hopes of

3: defy, challenge

4 a: to imitate (as a mannerism) closely: mimic b: to mimic in sport or derision

intransitive verb: jeer, scoff

In our lifetime we all have experienced some degree of mockery, but the worst case of mockery is to have some form of ‘Respect’ for the individual but behind his back we commit things that are offensive to the person.  It is like saying Dear God, I love You and Praise You and I serve You, then in the afternoon we are violating his trust.  This is among the highest form of mockery that we can commit.  But our God who is Omniscience, Omni Potent and all Powerful will not be mocked.  In society we often misjudge Kindness for ‘Weakness’ Our Lord express such kindness and so many of us take His love for granted.  There is an “Entitlement’ offered by our Lord, and He offered His Love to have made the ultimate Sacrifice for us by granting us His Grace and it is an Entitlement that we must accept.

The scoffer that scoffs at our Lord and jest against Him, the non- believer is committing an act of Mockery against our Lord; but there is no consequence of mistrust affecting a wide audience.  So those in the service of our Lord must be guarded and be aware that the consequence is far-reaching.

His Promise:

1 Corinthians 3:16-23

New King James Version (NKJV)

16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

His Faithfulness:

Prayer: Heavenly Father because of Jesus our Redeemer and through You Lord we have Victory and we can boldly declare that this day is the best day of all because Your Lord Jesus paid it all.  Lord we thank you for our Visitors and we ask your Divine blessing on us all. Why bad things happen to believers? The occurrence of such is not unique to anyone of us. The Apostle Paul experienced many sufferings while he was spreading the Gospel.

Can you change the course of your future, yes…? It is only possible by the grace of God.

As mere humans we may not be able to change the future, but the what we do in the name of the Lord, our future can be secure.

What more do anyone need? Security that is all encompassing, today and tomorrow, with all our needs met, and above all a secure place in the Lord’s Kingdom. Yes, Jesus said this…

John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. In Context

There’s so much we do not know, this is why… God is God and we are mere mortals, but, believing that through the Grace of the Lord by the Blood of Jesus who came to redeem us, we can believe His word of a ‘more’ abundant live. Abundant means to be already sufficient and above our needs, not just getting by, and when Jesus said a ‘more’ abundant, this is well over the top.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

An everlasting Gift of HIS GRACE:” Ephesians 2:8

Verse 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— Verse 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

What do we have here on earth? Life is a Sojourn through this world, all of what we purchase are classified as non-durable and durable goods… but even the durable goods that are man-made; such as a Car, a TV, a Refrigerator they all wear out, nothing that we have is durable, GOLD is, but it was not made by man, Iron and other metal are forged by man, but they all breakdown, just like us, we get older and we suddenly find that we are mere mortals.

So, what we own cannot last, only one thing can last forever, The Love of Christ… and He gave us His Love and Redeemed us so that we can last forever…

Romans 8: 31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is

for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own

Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with

him, graciously give us all things?

Quote for today: But besides being blind we are also by nature poor. Our father Adam spent our birthright, lost our estates. Paradise, the homestead of our race, has become dilapidated, and we are left in the depths of beggary without anything with which we may buy bread for our hungry souls, or clothing for our naked spirits; blindness and beggary are the lot of all men after a spiritual fashion, till Jesus visits them in love. C.H. Spurgeon

Commentary:

Think on this:  Praying to the Lord is the Most-Important Meeting we can have in our daily lives…

All other things we do are secondary, as only our Lord can Divinely prepare us for the day, He can smooth our tasks, inspire us, give us His Blessings, and by His Grace we can cope with all aspects of life’s responsibilities.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundant above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.  from Ephesians 3:20 NKJV  When we serve others by spreading the Good News, we are sprinkling the Fragrance of our Lord Jesus, and we also get the sweet smelling fragrance on ourselves… meaning that we are privileged to be a Vessel bearing the sweet smell of our Lord and Redeemer, and while we spread His Fragrance our Lord also blesses us with His Grace…2

Corinthians 2:15 New King James Version (NKJV) 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Seek Him while He may be found, He said today is the day of Salvation.

Jeremiah 33: 3… Call to Me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

The above text from the New King James Bible said…’Call Me’  just think we do not need a smart phone or an internet connection to be in touch with our Lord, so He said, “Call Him”, His is Omniscient, Omnipresence and Omnipotent and He will hear us.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity we come. Lord Jesus thank You for interceding as our sole Mediator between us and the Father. Lord today we affirm that no one comes to the Father unless through You. Lord Your Unconditional love for us overwhelms us as we stand in Awe of Your Majestic Power knowing that You Lord spoke all things into existence, but You made us with Your hands and breathed life into us. Lord we thank you for Your Redemption and by Your Grace we can look to that day when we shall see you as you are. Lord bless our Visitors and grant Your Favors to all. Lord let all who seeks You be at peace knowing that they have Victory in You. Lord we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Irrational actions can be avoided, learn the art of listening, and listen before reacting.

Never look back, the light at the end of the tunnel may be an oncoming train.

Look ahead and see the end of the tunnel…

God sent Jesus, because He (God) could not die for our sins’; so Jesus came as Man and God.

As He was crucified and died as a man, He rose as God. Therefore, He conquered death.

These are the most important events in the history of mankind…

  1. Christmas:      The Advent of Christ
  2. Good Friday:   The Crucifixion of Christ
  3. Easter Day:      The Resurrection of Christ

Beware…  Is the light at the end of the tunnel the exit” or an oncoming locomotive?

Again, it is a Stop-Look-Listen mode, as we go about our daily lives, let’s be sure that the light is the exit from the tunnel and not an oncoming train.

Action rationally versus an irrational mistake…

Driving we cross intersections several times per day, and today while waiting for the traffic light to change some driver just pulled alongside us and ran the red-light.   Jokingly, I said that person just went on a ‘Miami-Green’ usually referred to as a red-light.

As we once said, being cutoff in traffic causing me to miss the green-light, I consider this as a possible favor, why? Because if I had not been cut-off, crossing on a legal green-light, I would have been hit by a person that ran a red-light. So, don’t be anxious and be patient with rational thinking and remain safe.

Yes, it is the end of the tunnel, and the light shining is the Radiance of the Lord. But our Lord will not be emerging from a tunnel, He will be coming in the Sky, and be seen from the east to the west.

Commentary:

You may wonder how can God know me an individual in a world with 7+ Billion people, how can Jesus know who I am and hear me as billions are praying simultaneously? This is probably the most troublesome question for non-believers and Atheists.  The answer is that God (Regardless of an non-believers’ unbelief) God our Creator who said “Let us” create, spoke the world into existence, and just as He and His Son Jesus with His Holy Spirit being there from the beginning of it all, their divine power of Creation is able to hear each of us, as the Divinity of God through His Holy Spirit is in each believer; and His Holy Spirit is like the Broadband ‘Wireless’ Internet that we as believer are able to speak with our God.

Who is this Jesus?  The entire Bible is all about Jesus as no one has ever seen God, except Jesus.  Jesus was there from the beginning of it all, and He is the great “I AM” The Gospel comprised of Matthew, Mark Luke and John, collectively they are ‘Proof’ of Jesus’ Birth, His Ministry and His Crucifixion and then as Testimonies of His Divine Resurrection.  The Book of Acts then testified to Jesus post Resurrection spending time with His Disciples and then His Ascension to Heaven.  .

Jesus came into this world by way of a Virgin Birth, an event that has never been repeated.

When did He know me?

Before you were born, He knew you…

How do I know if He is real?

The world did not just happen; science and man still do not understand many things, the grand design of His Creation and His super-natural being, Jesus born of a Virgin, died and rose by a divine resurrection is as real as real can be.

John 1 NIV

The Word Became Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

Matthew 24:30

“Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. In Context | Full Chapter

Mark 13:26

“At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

In Context |

What a glorious day it will be… Many may become complacent, as these Words in the Scriptures were written 50-70 AD which is around 2,020 years ago.  So, if you are around the age of 60 this means that you have been hearing about the return of Christ for all your life. But don’t lose heart, as the Word of the Lord will be fulfilled, and what Jesus said will occur.

Prayer: Lord Jesus… We thank You for Your Covenant of Grace, and Your Unconditional love. Lord today as we give You preeminence in our lives, we are privileged to serve, and we thank You for our Visitors. Lord let Your Divine blessings flow to each as we give You our praise and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

We all have one thing in common… a common name, and that name is “Sinners”, but by God’s Grace we can be saved.

1 Peter 2:8-10 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

and, “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”;

When we spend what we have not yet received, is it an action of faith, or is itoverspending?

Government agencies do this based on incoming revenues, businesses do this based on sales and receivables from customers. Churches do this in faith, why? They do not have legal binding contracts with members, and tiding is made on a voluntary basis.

Here’s how you as an individual may be a part of God’s Treasury… make your pledges in faith, give as you may as you cannot out-give God.

Because what you endow and give in the name of the Lord, He will restore.

Remember… He Restores…Remain faithful like Job; in his plight He Praised the Lord…

When God Created Earth and the Celestial Heaven… how did the devil appear, and who is the devil?  The Bible relates that the evil one was the ‘Fallen Angel’ as there was a ‘War’ in Heaven, and the devil was cast out.  Now we may ask why God is allowing the devil to roam, and there is one other major question, why did God give us the Ten Commandment when it is impossible for anyone to not break these Commandments.  The Key Point here, God made us to have ‘FREE-WILL’.

Just like we see, in Job, the devil questioned God about Job, and God allowed him to try and upset Job, but God placed a shield over Job that the devil could not harm Job himself. What was the purpose of this exercise?  God proved that the devil had no power over what God had in Job’s life.  Even the bad things that the devil did against Job, God undid them and restored to Job all of what the devil took from Job 10 times more.  So, we revert  back to the Garden of Eden, remember we are created as ‘Free-Thinkers’ so when the devil tempted Eve, she failed to consult God, if she had done so; things would have been totally different, but she listened to the evil one and was led into sin.

We need to know that in Genesis all along the way to the fall of Adam and Eve, God had laid out His Redemption. This is disclosed when God Killed the animal and covered Adam and Eve with the Skin from the slain animal. This is the Foretelling of Jesus Sacrifice at Calvary where His Blood was shed for our Atonement, and His Blood is the SEAL of our Redemption, just like the Blood on the doorpost to protect the Israelites when the ‘Angel of death’ would pass over Egypt killing the first born of Pharaoh.  Now we have God’s Redemption through Jesus that was prophesied by Isaiah over 700 years before Jesus was born to the Virgin Mary.

So, through Yeshua we know God and Yeshua-Jesus is our Redeemer.

Jesus removed the Veil of the Temple, revealing Himself to be our High Priest giving us Access to Him.

His Promise:

We want to thank all  that took the time to read and comprehend what is written here, as it is for all to know that Jesus loves us, and Jesus is God in One of our Father our Creator through His Holy Trinity, and it is all for His Glory.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Isaiah 1: 18 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

“Let Us Reason”

18 “Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are as scarlet,
They will be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They will be like wool.

Prayer:

Gracious Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus what a day that will be when we see You as You are. You have said You are knocking Lord, and we are responding, so Lord come and Dine with us… Lord it is a privilege to serve You and to You be the Glory for all things that are done in your Name. Lord grant us all Your Favors as we seek You Lord, and Your Faithfulness abounds in our lives. Lord Jesus let Your Light outshine the evil one in each of our lives, and as we come to Praise You Lord, let Your Holy Spirit be with each and everyone. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Monday: February 10th, 2020

What’s done in secret will be revealed, just like when light is shone in darkness, the darkness disappears.

The Truth will always prevail.

You are chosen by The Lord Jesus by His Grace and His Father God will provide our needs when we ask in Jesus name…

John 15:16 Good News Translation (GNT)

16 You did not choose me; I chose you and appointed you to go and bear much fruit, the kind of fruit that endures. And so, the Father will give you whatever you ask of him in my name.

In the text above Jesus said… we did not choose Him, He chose you, me and all, and He has appointed you. Me and all to go and bear much fruit, and the kind of fruit that endures.

What kind of fruit last forever” Fruit is considered perishable and in the ‘Fresh-market’ whatever we buy will only last a few day.  So, Jesus was telling us to bear much ‘Fruit’ meaning bring others to Him.  Of all the things created by our Lord, the Earth, Water, Animals, the Stars, the Lilies of the field, and the cattle on a thousand hills, nothing is considered more valuable than you. Me and everyone who He created in His Likeness, so today we thank our Lord for His Unconditional love for you, me and everyone… He (Jesus) not only loves us but He wants to ‘Reward’ us… and His Reward is gaining a lifetime with Him, and the Lifetime will be eternal.

The challenges of this world will become passé’ regardless of who you are, we all have challenges. The rich worries about their wealth, the poor worries about their next meal, the healthy worries about their health, but as we see with Christ His disciples had no worries, they were all provided for. No one bought or sold anything, Matthew, Mark, Luke or John never had to sell anything nor to borrow from anyone.  Even Judas never had to earn his keep, but when he took the thirty pieces of silver to betray our Lord, we see a person that was always ‘stealing’ from the money bag that Jesus allowed him to carry, and this was not enough for Judas. Why? Because Judas never was a part of what Jesus said… John 6:35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

Now that we have seen the Faithfulness of our Lord Jesus, let us come to Him and Praise Him and thank Him for His Divine Providence. We urge you to “Come to Him and to ‘Believe’ in Him and His promise that we will never be in need, is a truthful saying, worthy of our full faith and trust knowing that in Him we have victory.

We want to say that we should come to Jesus not just for what He will provide, but for His Unconditional love and His Divine Redemption, as He died once and conquered death by His Triumphant Resurrection, so come to Him, know Him, receive Him and He said all that call on His name shall be saved, and those He saved He made a Joint-Heir in His Kingdom.

This is the Good News… Receive His Grace today... go to our Green Pasture Pageand come to Christ today.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we thank You for clarity in Your statement of “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. Lord Jesus it is with Authority that You have said this and Lord; as You Have Ascended into Heaven and now sits on the Throne of Righteousness Your statement is now with Authority and Power. Lord we accept Your Grace and we come not because of what we will receive in coming to You, but we love You Lord.  Lord thank You for our Visitors and let Your Divine providence be upon us all as we go in Faith knowing that in You, we have Victory. Lord we pray this in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Sunday: February 9,2020

The ultimate answer is already revealed, do you know it? Find out today, learn more…

What is the ultimate answer? This is found in the most popular Bible verse of…

 John 3:16

The ultimate answer is already revealed, do you know it? Find out today, learn more…

God desires goodness for us all, therefore He sent His Son Jesus…

John 3:16-17 New King James Version (NKJV)

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Note: The Text refers to ‘The World’ but in context… God was referring to the ‘people’ of the World, as He said, ‘Whosoever believes in Him shall not perish’.

Remember the most profound statement ever said on earth was said by Jesus, when He said…” I am not of this world”

Good News…

A Patient & Merciful God… God through His Son Jesus came that we could be saved from the consequences of our sins

2020 years ago, on that first day of our calendar year Christ was born in Bethlehem fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 53 written 700+ years before the first day of 2020.

Principle: The Good News is that God has a plan inspite of our shortcoming…

He came so that we may have life and have it more abundantly… A statement made by Jesus himself; John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. In Context | Full Chapter |

His Redemption: 1 Peter 1:18-19 NIV

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

His Eternal Faithfulness:

John 11:25-26 New King James Version (NKJV)

25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” New King James Version (NKJV)

His Faithfulness-

And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.” John 10:28-30 NKJV

It is already done by the Redeemer:

Mark 11:22-24 New International Version (NIV)

22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Action/Coming to our Lord: Hebrews 11:6 NKJV

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion

Come to our Lord today as He said come unto Him and He will receive you and forgive you of your sin(s) and you will be a new creation in Christ.

Pray... Lord Jesus I come in Faith accepting Your gift of Salvation and chose to be alive in You by your Grace my Lord. Lord Jesus receive me as I repent of my sin and accept your great Salvation by your Blood of Atonement, and I seek Your divine guidance in my life, to you Lord be the Glory... Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we come to praise You and proclaim You as our Eternal-Sovereign God. Thank You Lord Jesus for this day and Lord because of You it is a Good Day as we Pray for our brothers and sisters and all so they too will have a Good-Day. Lord as we know that this Day is made by You and all things are made new in You, let us be reminded that this Good time will continue in spite of the ‘end’-times that we face. Lord let us use this day to pray for our Visitors and those who are seeking You to be blessed with Your Peace. We give You preeminence in our lives knowing that we shall see You as You are Jesus Messiah… To You be the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

The expansion of knowledge, an article stated that… Knowledge Doubling Every 12 Months, soon to be Every 12 Hours.  Learn more…

Is it because of better schools? The Internet? Better study habits?

None of the above, Schools may have gotten worse, do not believe everything on the Internet, and study habits have not gotten better. So, how is knowledge being increased?

We are in the Information Age being eclipsed by the digital age…

The age of information is probably the most prevalent source of knowledge being increased.

Here’s an example of what we can learn through the information/Digital Age…

Water.  Most of us take it for granted.  But have you ever taken a moment to stop and think just how important water is to you?  For the human body, water is truly a vital resource.  You can go weeks without food but only 5-7 days without water.  When the water in your body is reduced by just 1 percent, you become thirsty.  At 5 percent, muscle strength and endurance decline significantly, and you become hot and tired.  When the loss reaches 10 percent, delirium and blurred vision occur.  A 20 percent reduction results in death.

There is no more important nutrient for our bodies than water.  No other substance is as widely involved in the processes and make-up of the body.  A man's body is about 60 percent water, and a woman's is approximately 50 percent.  Did you know that the human brain is about 75 percent water?

Every day, we lose 2-3 quarts of water through urination, sweating and breathing.  Since many of the processes within the body rely greatly on water, it is important we replace our fluids regularly to compensate for this loss.

So, did we learn anything new?

Water is Life, and Jesus said…

John 7:38

He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

In Context | Full Chapter |

Here’s what we learn from reading Jon 7:38…  When we believe in Christ…  We will be living Water, meaning; we have passed from death to Life-Everlasting.

What a privilege our Lord Jesus gave us.  Will you receive it now?

Prayer:

Lord Jesus because You are our Redeemer and from You, we have the flowing Water of Life. Lord we are blessed to bring our Visitors to You and seek Your Divine Blessing on us all. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen.

The Sun created by God is a source of hydrogen, and hydrogen is a source of energy. Our Lord created it all…

Hydrogen can be considered as a clean energy carrier, similar to electricity. Hydrogen can be produced from various domestic resources such as renewable energy and nuclear energy. In the long-term, hydrogen will simultaneously reduce the dependence on foreign oil and the emission of greenhouse gases and other pollutants…

Sunlight as the Power source…

There are also several experimental methods of producing hydrogen such as photo-electrolysis and biomass gasification. Scientists have also discovered that some algae and bacteria produce hydrogen under certain conditions, using sunlight as their energy source.

We too need some sunlight; it is recommended that we get exposure to the sun (with limitations) to obtain natural Vitamin D.

Be aware of the following…

  1. Skin Color/Tan Level/Amount of Time in the Sun: Some people think they are getting sufficient sun...
  2. Weather Conditions. UV light can penetrate the clouds, so it is possible to get sunburned on...
  3. Latitude and Altitude. Sunlight is strongest at the equator because the sun shines directly..

Benefits of Vitamin D:

Sunshine vitamin

Vitamin D is sometimes called the “sunshine vitamin” because it’s produced in your skin in response to sunlight. It’s a fat-soluble vitamin in a family of compounds that includes vitamins D-1, D-2, and D-3.

Your body produces vitamin D naturally when it’s directly exposed to sunlight. You can also get it through certain foods and supplements to ensure adequate levels of the vitamin in your blood.

Vitamin D has several important functions. Perhaps the most vital are regulating the absorption of calcium and phosphorus, and facilitating normal immune system function. Getting a sufficient amount of vitamin D is important for normal growth and development of bones and teeth, as well as improved resistance against certain diseases.

If your body doesn’t get enough vitamin D, you’re at risk of developing bone abnormalities such as soft bones (osteomalacia) or fragile bones (osteoporosis).

Here are three more surprising benefits of vitamin D.

1. Vitamin D fights disease

In addition to its primary benefits, research suggests that vitamin D may also play a role in:

•          reducing your risk of multiple sclerosis, according to a 2006 study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association

•          decreasing your chance of developing heart disease, according to 2008 findings published in Circulation Trusted Source

•          helping to reduce your likelihood of developing the flu, according to 2010 research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition Trusted Source

2. Vitamin D reduces depression

Research has shown that vitamin D might play an important role in regulating mood and warding off depression. In one study, scientists found that people with depression who received vitamin D supplements noticed an improvement in their symptoms.

In another study of people with fibromyalgia, researchers found vitamin D deficiency was more common in those who were also experiencing anxiety and depression.

3. Vitamin D boosts weight loss

Consider adding vitamin D supplements to your diet if you’re trying to lose weight or prevent heart disease.

In one study, people taking a daily calcium and vitamin D supplement were able to lose more weight than subjects taking a placebo supplement. The scientists said the extra calcium and vitamin D had an appetite-suppressing effect.

In another study, overweight people who took a daily vitamin D supplement improved their heart disease risk markers.

We can do nothing without God’s creation. As He said…

John 15:5 In Context

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

Worthy of Praise, and worthy to Praise… Praising with a Sincere ️ heart made pure by the blood of Christ.

Ephesians 2:8-9New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

The world shrunk by the instant news reporting. The Internet, the global news networks bring you the event within minutes of happening.

While we have streaming videos and television broadcasts, none will be live what the Bible described as…

Matthew 24:27

For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Matthew 24:29

“Immediately after the distress of those days “‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’

+

No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

1 John 4:14

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.

1 John 4:20

Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.

Prayer is better than the best medicine, it is a cure for health, mind and soul. Nothing else can do this.

Jesus Himself spent hours praying to the Father

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Simon and his companions went to look for him, and when they found him, they exclaimed: “Everyone is looking for you!”

Mark 1:35-37 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Mark%201:35-37&version=NIV

Come to the Father by coming to our Mediator and our Redeemer… Jesus our Lord and Savior who said…

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

John 14:6-7 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=John%2014:6-7&version=NIV

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:37-39 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Romans%208:37-39&version=NIV

As we focus of the Power of Prayers, we give Praises to the Father and to Jesus our Redeemer…

Thoughts for the Day: No Appointments Necessary, no legal representation needed. Just call Him from where you are. Use His Password…JESUS, because He said all who call on His name, He will hear us.

Did you know the Gospel is not an invitation? It is a Command… When Jesus said… It is appointed unto man once to die and after that the Judgment…. He was not asking a question; He was telling us the fact.

When He told Nicodemus “Unless you are Born-again you cannot enter the Kingdom of God” John 3:7

Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ John 3:6-8 (in Context) John 3 (Whole Chapter)

Hebrews 9:27 New King James Version (NKJV)

27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,

We just read a statement that once would say is a paradox, why? If you die how could you be around for the ‘Judgment’?  The answer is, we are created in His Image, and we really never die.

Romans 11:33-36

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has become His counselor?”
35 “Or who has first given to Him
And it shall be repaid to him?”

36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus we Praise You and give Yu the Glory, as we thank You for Your Divine Providence, Bless our Visitors and grant us Your Peace.

In Your Holy Name we pray… Amen.

You are not an ordinary person… You are chosen, made perfect by Christ. His Holiness and His Righteousness made us worthy to be presented to the Father.

"In him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him."
Colossians 2:9-10

All the attributes of Christ, as God and man, are at our disposal. All the fulness of the Godhead, whatever that marvelous term may comprehend, is ours to make us complete. He cannot endow us with the attributes of Deity; but he has done all that can be done, for he has made even his divine power and Godhead subservient to our salvation.

His omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, immutability and infallibility, are all combined for our defense. How vast his grace, how firm his faithfulness, how unswerving his immutability, how infinite his power, how limitless his knowledge! All these are by the Lord Jesus made the pillars of the temple of salvation.

Seek the Lord and receive His Goodness, God desires goodness for us all...

Focus:  While seeking the Lord, seek Him for His mercies, His Love and His Grace, Seek Him to ‘Thank Him’ and to Praise Him for His Majesty, His Divine Gift of Life here and to come as He gave His life for you so that You may have eternal life through Him. Praise our Lord Jesus as we say ‘Our Redeemer Lives’ and we shall see Him on that day.

Commentary: Seek the Lord as He said “you are no longer servants, but friends” …

 John 15:15

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter |

God speaks to ordinary people. The message of Jesus’ Birth was told to the Shepherds. Why were shepherds not allowed in the temple?

Be strong, be courageous, lean on the Lord, not on man, trust in the Lord and not on our own abilities, because without Christ we have none.

Who is the Lord? Is He the same Jesus that we read about, dressed in a white robe wearing sandals? While the Bible said… He is the same yesterday and forever, yet He will not be returning in His white robe, why? As we recall Mary could not recognize Him at the tomb, why? HE was in His Celestial Form. Let us read about who He is?...

Ezekiel 1: 27-28 NKJV

I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

The text above stated… ‘This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord’. Remember in His kingdom there is no night, and He is the Light.

1 Corinthians 15:40

There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another.

John 8:12

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” In Context | Full Chapter

Revelation 22:5

There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.In Context | Full Chapter

Commentary:

All of our earthly achievements are like Henry Ford’s model T, even our latest inter-planetary spaceships, our healthcare our satellites and our mode of communications are out mode obsolete. Yes, the Internet is still amazing as my email sent will arrive from Miami to China in seconds, my Wall Street Journal in my mailbox this morning I can read from my iPad. And what I post today will be online in a flash. Yet with all the advancements, God great mystery will be revealed as we shall see Him as He is…

On the first day when God said…” Let there be light”, Yeshua/Jesus appeared. And there was light, remember the sun was not yet made until the fourth day.

The Supremacy of Christ…

Colossians 1:15

The Supremacy of the Son of God] The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

Colossians 1:18

And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. In Context | Full Chapter

Hebrews 4:14-16 New International Version (NIV) Jesus the Great High Priest

14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

John 1 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Eternal Word

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, we come to seek Your Divine Guidance today.  Lord Jesus because You are on the Throne of Righteousness and intercedes for us Lord, we ask Your Blessing and we Thank You Lord for Your Graciousness.  Today as Your Good News are presented by Your Servants, we pray that the hearers will hear and that the messages will inspire all to come forward in Your Holy Name. Lord we thank You for our many Visitors, bless our Visitors and grant Your favors on each one. Lord Jesus bless this mission of Good News Forever that it will bear fruit for Your Glory.  We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory Now and Forevermore… Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

Monday February 3rd, 2020

If you had ‘Power’ how would you use it? Know this… God endowed and granted His power to you; do you know how to use it?

Acts 10:34-43

Christ is the power of God, for he is the Creator of all things, and by Him all things exist. But when he came to earth, took upon himself the fashion of a man, tabernacled in the inn, and slept in the manger, he still gave proof that he was the Son of God; not so much so when, as an infant of a span long, the immortal was the mortal, and the infinite became a babe; not so much so in his youth, but afterwards when he began his public ministry, he gave abundant proofs of his power and godhead. The winds hushed by his finger uplifted, the waves calmed by his voice, so that they became solid as marble beneath his tread; the tempest, cowering at his feet, as before a conqueror whom it knew and obeyed; these things, these stormy elements, the wind, the tempest, and the water, gave full proof of his abundant power.

1 John 2 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Christ Is Our Advocate

My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.

By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.

† End of Bible Text.

We are to have intimacy with Jesus, and to live by His precepts and teaching….If we desire to be in a faithful walk with our Lord, we are to come to Him not when we are in need but to have a constant relationship just like your ‘best friend’ that you Text and Email or call daily.

We are to know that His Holy Spirit gives us ‘Power’ to overcome the evil forces and to rebuke the schemes of the devil by the Word of God… Just like when Jesus quoted Scriptures to ward off the devil that tempted our Lord. When we come to Jesus our High Priest, He intercedes to His Father our Creator, we are told to come to HIM boldly and make all petitions known with Thanksgiving in Prayer to our Lord Jesus.

No one is immune to temptation to sin, even Jesus was tempted but He remained Sinless, he used the scripture to thwart the temptation of the devil.

We too need the Two-edged Sword to thwart the temptation, which is more than ever a blitz in lights, on the TV, the Internet, Print and music etc.  We must look beyond the temporary pleasure that is abominable to our Lord.  We need to ask for His help in overcoming the urge.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus today as we gather to be powered by Your Word to overcome the evil forces, we rebuke the evil one by proclaiming You Lord Jesus. Lord thank you for Your redeeming Blood and bless our Visitors as we go in Faith knowing that all things work for the Good of those who call upon You Lord. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Sunday: February 2, 2020

As you have been seeking after God you will find he has been pursuing you.

What a surprise to find what you have been searching for was already secured…

You have started your walk-in faith, know this, God said he has begun a good work HE WILL FINISH IT. Do not struggle thinking you’re not getting it right.

Psalm 42: 1

New Living Translation
As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God.

The Lord used a deer searching for water to depict His love for you…

Deer teaches us to use the power of gentleness to touch the hearts and minds of wounded beings who are trying to keep us from Sacred Mountain. Like the dappling of Fawn's coat, both the light and the dark may be loved to create gentleness and safety for those who are seeking peace.

Romans 11:36

For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.

Doxology

33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
    How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?”
35 “Who has ever given to God,
    that God should repay them?”
36 For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.

So, let’s set aside the political divide of the county, and for those that continue to deny Christ and to oppose the agenda of the Lord, let them be aware…

Matthew 10:26

“So, do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. In Context | Full Chapter |

While we enjoy the moments of this wonderful Sunday, let us reaffirm the assurance of the Lord.

Let us pray for the country and leaders to be aware of…

Galatians 2:21

To not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” In Context | Full Chapter

Remember…  The Word of Jesus:

John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

God gave you His Love, Peace, a sound mind with power, an amazing Grace and His Divine Providence of abundance. Did you get your share?

2 Timothy 1:

7For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.

      8. Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God, 9who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity, 10 . but now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, 11. for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle and a teacher. 12. For this reason, I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed;for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day. 13. Retain the standard of sound words which you have heard from me, in the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. 14. Guard, through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you.

What was the foundation that Paul was basing his belief on in vs.12?

For I know whom I have believed and am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.

It was the revelation, Christ saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity, 10. now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

He has called you with a Holy calling and purpose. He has equipped you for this calling.

In 2 Peter 1:3

Seeing that his divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness through the true knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and excellence

Know that God…

fulfilled by His Redeeming Blood, and in Faith I am trusting in Him that He has Redeemed, me and His Holy Spirit is in-dwelling in me, which is the Treasure He has entrusted to us.

Getting your share of everything is ready for you.

So, come to Him today…

Good News -His Faithfulness:  Come to Christ today, acknowledge Him as His Word stated…
