MORNING:


FOCUS: How can you define ‘security’? Can you have peace in a turbulent surrounding?

God gave us all ‘Security’ He made a place that was perfect for us, this was the Garden of Eden … As Billy Graham said, we are like the dogs that like to bury that perfect bone to allow it to breakdown before eating it.   Just think that all career-professional individuals are striving to achieve that ideal lifestyle of job-security, a comfortable home, family, going on vacation and even having a beach house or a mountain getaway.  Yes, many achieve their pursuit, but like all good things they do undergo changes. And sometimes the changes are not as desired…

The writers of songs like; ‘Beyond the Sunset’ and many others looking to the day of attaining ‘True-Security’ and Joy depicted the setting as Jesus said.  So knowing that ‘The Best is yet to come’ we can with our redeemer’s assurance

Coming to the Lord
1. Beyond the sunset, O blissful morning, When with our Savior Heav'n is begun.

FOCUS: What’s in the Bank? What’s in your pocket? Or what’s on your mind?

What’s in your pocket is a personal question, so I will answer it… some cash, a few credit cards, driver’s license and some useless pieces of papers. What’s in the other pocket, a small New testament that I carry around, just like my dad who for as long as I have known him he carried this little New Testament with him. I inherited it and treasured it.

TEXT:  Mark 1: Jesus Prays in a Solitary Place

35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

Today I am writing about family members, and the answer to what’s on your mind… my beloved kept a journal that she made sure I had this when she went home to be with The Lord. In her personal journal there are daily written prayers to the Lord Jesus for almost 30 years.

Prayers is a Divine approach to the Almighty, it is not mailed, FedEx, Faxed or Emailed, but our Brain-waves are comprised of   5 Types of Brain Waves Frequencies: Gamma, Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta.

Human do not hear sounds above 13 kHz). Sounds with frequencies above the range of human hearing are called ultrasound. Sounds with frequencies below the range of human hearing are called infrasound.

  • Typical sounds produced by human speech have frequencies on the order of 100 to 1000 Hz.
  • The peak sensitivity of human hearing is around 4000 Hz.

For the first time, scientists have experimentally demonstrated that sound pulses can travel at velocities faster than the speed of light. This is achieving Quantum Mechanic is practice.

Recent article on quantum mechanics…. Physicists at the University of Geneva achieved the weird result by creating a pair of ‘entangled’ photons, separating them, then sending them down a fibre optic cable to the Swiss villages of Satigny and Jussy, some 18 kilometres apart.

The researchers found that when each photon reached its destination, it could instantly sense its twin’s behavior without any direct communication. The finding does not violate the laws of quantum mechanics, the theory that physicists use to describe the behavior of very small systems. Rather, it shows just how quantum mechanics can defy everyday expectation, says Nicolas Gisin, the researcher who led the study. “Our experiment just puts the finger where it hurts,” he says. The study is published in Nature1.

Spooky and unsettling

In the everyday world, objects can organize themselves in just a few ways. For example, two people can coordinate their actions by talking directly with each other, or they can both receive instructions from a third source.

“We think space and time are important because that's the kind of monkeys we are.”

In both these cases, the information is communicated at or below the speed of light, in keeping with Einstein’s axiom that nothing in the Universe can go faster. But quantum mechanics allows for a third way to coordinate information. When two particles are quantum mechanically ‘entangled’ with each other, measuring the properties of one will instantly tell you something about the other. In other words, quantum theory allows two particles to organize themselves at apparently faster-than-light speeds. (End of quote)

To our Lord there is nothing Spooky and unsettling… His divine Grace was displayed here on earth at Calvary… There is nothing spooky but all Divine… The Curtain separating the Inner Sanctum of the Temple was torn when Christ said…”It is Finished” the Sun went dark for three hours, a darkness that was without shadows.  He Rose from the Dead on the Third Day, He Ascended into heaven by Levitation. 

So our Prayers and Brain waves are heard by our Lord even a billion all at once but individually for each of us.

Use this Divine Power that our Almighty God gave us, and not only did He give us this power He gave us an even higher power to ‘elevate’ us to Him through His Son Jesus whom He made the Sole Mediator between us and God.

Devotional: Heavenly Father because no one has even seen You except Your Son, and Jesus my Lord we are privileged to be in Your Holy presence by Your Holy Spirit. It is with Awe that we can experience to Power of Your Glory and Your Holiness.  Lord we give You Preeminence in all things we do and in You Lord Jesus we Praise you and go with Your Peace that surpasses all our understanding.

His Faithfulness

Coming to the Lord… The national day of Prayers is a day that the nation sets aside for Prayers to God… To wait to come to our Lord on a ‘national’ day it is allowing our people to go with differed fellowship.  We need our Lord and we need Him every Hour, because in Jesus we have Victory.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today we Praise You for Your Majestic power knowing that you are the Incarnate God of Your Holy Spirit. Lord we are in awe of the vastness of the universe that you have made and given mankind domination over Your Creation. Lord we had such privilege that was squandered in the garden of Eden, but Lord Your Un-Conditional love for us You Mercies we have and Your Redemption made available to us all, we thank You for your Grace and we accept Your Gift of Salvation in You Lord. Lord thank You for remembering us just as You remembered Noah and replenished the earth and we today are here because of Your Grace. Lord bless our Visitors and grant as Your Peace and Favors Lord. We pray in your Holy Name Lord Jesus to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

FOCUS: What do I need more than Clean Air, good food, a healthy lifestyle and family? The song that said… “All I need is the Air I breathe” address the moment I time… You could have all of the above but while you have clean air, good food, a healthy lifestyle and family you are still vulnerable as the changes and compromises that are creeping up to make our land more like in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah.

So what else do we need, we need the Providence of God, as seen when God sent the angels to rescue Lot and his family from Sodom.  One may say… things are not really that bad, the gay lifestyle is still only about 3% of the US population.  But the ‘In-your face’ approach by the gay community maybe the straw that broke the camel’s back...

Sodom and Gomorrah Destroyed

19 The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground. “My lords,” he said, “please turn aside to your servant’s house. You can wash your feet and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning.”

“No,” they answered, “we will spend the night in the square.”

But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. EVENING: Devotional: Coming to the Lord - James 1:19-27 NIV Listening and Doing

19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. His Assurance:

Life’s uncertainties are all around us. Again one will ask isn’t this website supposed to be a bearer of Good News?  Yes we are bringing you Good News today.  The Good News is that we are endowed with:

  • We are created in His Likeness
  • Christ died for our Sins
  • He Rose Triumphantly
  • He Ascended into Heaven
  • He Sits on the Throne of Righteousness
  • He is willing to forgive us of our sins
  • If you come to Him and ask for forgiveness, He will give it
  • Jesus Christ is our Mediator and our Sovereign God
  • When we are saved, we receive an Eternal life of Joy in Him
  • He is coming again
  • All those that are still here will be caught up in the air to Him
  • His Kingdom will be fully Sanctified and Sinless
  • We will be reunited with our loved ones

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 2: But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Come to Christ… Pray the following Prayer: Heavenly Father I know I am a Sinner and I come in Jesus who died for my sins, and Lord Jesus I come and I confess my sins and I turn to You Lord Jesus because of Your redemption I am saved by Your blood that was shed for me at Calvary. Lord I commit my life to You and I seek to follow You as I accept Your Gift of Salvation.  Lord lead me from this day on as I go with Your Peace and seek to be nurtured growing in Faith as I pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus.

Prayer: Father in Heaven we thank You and we give You First-Place in our lives and Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we thank you for Your Divine Providence to us all. In You Lord Jesus we have Victory and in You we go as sent and to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

FOCUS: How may I please God when He said my righteousness is like a filthy rag? If this is so why is Jesus calling any of us?

Today we will speak about why did God give us the Ten Commandments when no one could ever keep them?  www.goodnewsforever.org

Text: John 3:3  Jesus said except you are born again: 
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

Commentary:

God our Creator knew we were not able to keep these Ten Commandments, so why did He give them to us.  They were made to show us the difference of good versus bad.  I had a friend that said…’If we never had a bad day then we would never know when we have a good day’.

Our Lord knew that these Commandments were set in-place so that we could make choices… and be able to know His teaching which He gave us by telling us that the most important of all are:

To have no other God and to love our neighbors, these two represent the core of our ability to please our Lord.  It like saying count the pennies and the dollars will take care of itself, but in this   case it is more important than money, it is our Life and our love for our Lord.

The fact is that while it is impossible to keep the Ten Commandment, God did not expect us to achieve this, and even if we try we cannot be saved to be in His Kingdom. Nothing we do on our own can ever make things right with God, as all our righteousness are like filthy rags.

Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.

When you know and trust our Lord, the Bible said…”He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways” Psalm 91:11.  Only our Lord prays for us, as His angels are constantly at work to safeguard us, His angels are here to minister to us and to guide us into our Lord’s presence at our life’s journey in heaven forever.  His angels are sent to serve those who loves the Lord and those our Lord made Joint-Heirs to His Kingdom.

Because our Sovereign Eternal Savior, Jesus Christ the Son of God, who is God Incarnate in His Holy Trinity is our Mediator and is Interceding for us to His Father, Jesus our Redeemer sitting on the Throne of Righteousness who Paid-It-All, and He died and through His Divine Resurrection, we are presented to his Father as ‘Redeemed’ and through His Blood of Atonement we are no long filthy rags. 

What a privilege our Lord Jesus gave us… He took us out of the trash-heap and made us into fine-linen worthy of coming into the Presence of His Father.

Jesus said… No one comes to the Father unless through Him…

God’s Final Word: His Son

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways,but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.

12 Be glad and supremely joyful, for your reward in heaven is great (strong and intense), for in this same way people persecuted the prophets who were before you. [II Chron. 36:16.]

PRAYER: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity we come thanking you and giving You our Praises for in You we have Victory. Lord we bring You our burdens which are many for our Brothers and Sisters, our Government leaders, our Pastors and those in foreign land that are oppressed and persecuted Lord. You have promised Your Divine protection as their battle will be won because You will never leave us nor forsake us. Lord let Your servants be equipped as in faith they proceed knowing that You are the Author and Finisher of their Faith. Lord bless our Visitors and grant them Your Favors. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

MORNING:


FOCUS: How time do we spend Sleeping, eating, watching TV, etc., and moving around each day? 70% or 100%

But the real question is do we have time to seek Him First?  Coming to our Lord is it a command or is it a request when Jesus said… 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.  Matthew 6: 33-34

It is neither a Command nor a request but a suggestion… why is it not a Command or a request? If it was a command then we would be seeking The Lord ritualistically.  Jesus taught this and suggested this, and we are never ‘forced’ to worship our Lord. 

This is what we will find when we get to His Kingdom, it is a kingdom not made by human hands… God does not need us for anything, He needs us not because we can give Him anything, He needs us because He loves us and He wants us to be in His Kingdom a place of Splendor that he has prepared for us.

Paul spoke with authority as Paul was a chosen ‘Vessel’ to bring the Good News to the Gentiles… Paul himself was taken into heaven… 2 Corinthians 12:2

I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows. In Context | Full Chapter | 

Because it was not Paul’s practice to ‘boast’, so he spoke of himself as a third party.

Devotional:

Lord Jesus today we thank You for Your Grace and we than You Father knowing that Jesus Your Son is One in You in Your Holy Spirit.  Lord Jesus knowing that you are the Great I AM… and that we can do all things through You Lord Jesus.  

Coming to the Lord

Lord we come to You knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and it is by your Holiness that we can be presented to The Father, Lord thank You for being our Mediator and through Your Divine Redemption we are Redeemed and our sins are forgiven. Lord You not only forgive but You forget our transgressions and our sins are removed as far as the east is from the west.

His Faithfulness

Lord You said come unto to You all who are weary and heavily burdened.  Lord the challenges of this world were not made by You Lord, You gave us a Garden of Eden, but it was squandered. Lord You said come and buy without money and we know that that Your Priceless gift cannot be purchased and it is only by Your Grace that we are saved.

MORNING:


FOCUS: Death of a King was last week’s headline (King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia)… Good News from the year 0033; Resurrection of The King of kings.

TEXT:  Mark 8: 36 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? 37 Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 38 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”

Today we can declare that our King of kings is alive and is on the Throne of Righteousness.  Jesus Christ the only Mediator between man and God.  Knowing that Jesus said no one comes to the Father without Him, and if Christ had not risen from the dead, there would be no way of reaching The Father.

There are three major events that made more impact on humanity than any other known events of world history. The Birth of Jesus is one event that has influenced how we live daily, governed by the daily calendar of the year AD 2012 (A.D. An abbreviation used with a date, indicating how many years have passed since the birth of Jesus. The abbreviation may appear before the date (A.D. 2012), The birth of Jesus dictates our calendar and yet many have never heard of Jesus.  We are privileged to bring to the Worldwide Web the Good News of Jesus Christ coming to this planet born of a Virgin, who super-naturally rose from the dead, which leads us to the 2nd most important event of mankind.

What is the 2nd most important? The Crucifixion of Jesus, why? He was not just a man, He was God, Jesus as we see shook the elements at his crucifixion by a major earthquake, the sun went dark for three (3) hours, Midday to 3 PM, and the Curtain of the Temple was torn. The Power of His Holy Spirit from His father descended on earth.

The Third most important event known to man is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. As we declare “HE IS RISEN” His Resurrection from death as seen by thousands witnessed by the Disciples. Jesus’ Resurrection is a Divine gift to us that completed His Redemption of our Soul, His Blood of Atonement was shed for our sin, His Priceless Gift of Life-Everlasting is offered to each of us, but to receive HIS SEAL we must Accept His Gift that we cannot purchase with all the gold in the world.

His Faithfulness:

Every non-believer can come to God as God is waiting because of His love for us all, as we are His Creation. Therefore without the presence of the Holy Spirit if an Atheist comes to our Lord, the Lord will hear his call and come to Him, (but the sin of denying our Lord and blaspheme against our Lord is in the eyes of our Lord an unforgivable sin.    We must be careful of not denying our Lord as everyone of us are created in the Likeness of our God our Creators, as God did say in Genesis, addressing His Son… “Let us Create man in our Likeness” because we were created in HIS Likeness, we are far more than the German Shepherd that cannot comprehend beyond the abilities of an animal, we were created to live forever, as our bodies are ‘TENT”  made from Dust, as God formed us from Dust and breathed life into us. And His Breath gave us more than life but a ‘Spirit’ that when we come to him this spirit will take on Holiness by His Grace. This brings us to the next Factor of GRACE:

Now Grace is something that the Webster defined as:

There is no grace from man except probably a loan modification and an extension to the due date by renegotiations. Even then we have to request and bargain away by agreeing to pay a penalty and even upfront money to get any concession, which is not Grace, as Grace is ‘Un-Merited’ and not earned, or cannot be bought.

Grace is what gives us the HOPE, but before going on to Hope, we will explore the Grace of God… When Captain Sully landed his 757 on the Hudson River and not, ‘into’ the Hudson, is this purely by chance? Captain Sully was praying and Hoping for a ‘soft’ landing; and guess what? His belief and Faith brought his plane to a soft landing, and as they landed, guess what? There were boaters ready to rescue the passengers, is this a pure coincident? Or is it Faith by a believing Pilot in his God, and the Grace of God? And Sully’s ‘Hope’ for a soft landing?  Figure this one out.  For those of us that know, landing on Water is like landing on a hard surface, water to a plane is as hard as the runways at Kennedy or Interstate 95.

Conclusion:  Resurrection Morning is a day like no other day in the History of mankind.  We need to stop and think on this as no one has ever returned from the dead. except Jesus.  Jesus said “I am not of this world” His Kingdom is from another place John 19: Verse 38.  When we consider the Miracle of Jesus’ Resurrection we need to measure what he also said, “In Him we shall also have Life and Life abundantly… and By His Blood we are cleansed and by his Grace we are Saved.  Praise God that Jesus our Redeemer lives, and Jesus our Incarnate God will be there to greet us, just as He did in welcoming Stephen into His Kingdom. For those that know our Lord and accepted Jesus as our Redeemer; just as when Stephen was stoned to death and transitioned into the presence of Jesus so are those in Christ. Woodlawn # 1, 2, 3 5 Etc. are also with many empty graves for those in Christ, as the Scriptures said, to be absent from the body and be Present with our Lord…. Praise our Lord Jesus for He is Worthy, He is Supreme and He is Eternal, and He Loves you…

Prayer:

Father in heave in Jesus our Redeemer and our Eternal Sovereign God in One of Your Holy Trinity, we come. Lord Jesus because You said no one comes to the Father unless through You Lord, we thank You for this privilege of being in Your Holy presence. Lord today as we seek You and seek a close walk with You, Your Grace abounds in our lives as we in Faith go forth proclaiming Your Good News of Your Salvation.  Lord Thank You for Your Divine Blood of Atonement, and as we are marked with your Seal knowing that on that day we shall see You as You are and by Your Covenant, we can in Faith accept Your Redemption. Lord bless us all as we ask Your blessing for our visitors and to grant your Favors to all that ask in Your name, Lord to You is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

MORNING:


FOCUS: To know of Him is one thing, but to know Him is the ultimate. Yes, God already knows you.

TEXT:  Psalm 139:14 [Full Chapter]

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

His Faithfulness:

The Bible said that The Lord regretted that He had made human beings… the first murder occurred in the early history of mankind… When God asked did you eat of the forbidden fruit, Adam responded… Genesis 3: 12 12 The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”  13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”  The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

We read Eve blaming the serpent… and Adam blaming Eve by telling the Lord… “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”

It wasn’t too long after the fall of Adam and Eve, then their sons Cain and Abel further disappointed the Lord…

Genesis 6: The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

Inspite of God’s disappointment He loved His creation so much that even after the great Flood, and mankind continued to disappoint the Lord, God sent His Son to Redeem us…

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

So looking back to that day 2,015 years ago when Christ came for the sole reason of undoing The Lord’s command and condemnation… Genesis 2:  16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,  for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

 

It is for this sole reason why God sent His Son Jesus to cancel His condemnation of “You will certainly die”.

 We must recognize that we are created in the Likeness of God, and being so, we too shall never die. When God said “you will surely die” He was referring to the second-death, so when God created mankind He said… Genesis 1: 31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Genesis 1: 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all[b] the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. 30 Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. 

If ‘Death’ was the end of it all then we being in His likeness would be no different from an animal, but He made us more higher than the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and gave us dominion over them, so we are given God’s privileges, but we are like the old habits of the dogs, if you gave your dog the best bone from a prime rib steak, he will not eat it immediately, he will bury it so that it will age and then later chew on it.

But God did not give us the ‘bone’ He gave us the best and we squandered it.  So in this life many will say why do I need God’s Redemption? And why did Jesus tell the Jewish leader Nicodemus that ‘You must be born-again to enter into the Kingdom of God’

Knowing this that… Christ came to same sinners, and as Paul said “Of whom I am chief’.  Paul of all spoke about his experience of being chosen by Christ to be a messenger, he was a man that was taken up to heaven, a man once dedicated to arresting followers of Christ taking them to be condemned to death, it was Paul that was holding clothes of those stoning Stephen to death.  But Paul chosen by the Lord fulfilled his mission by spreading the Good News of Jesus’ Salvation for us all.

Knowing Him – Fellowship in Oneness:

Let it be Your will Lord… Just as when Christ said to The Father let it be Your will Father and not mine so we say the same to as things that The Father has in store for us all is indescribable and we are given a glimpse of this in John’s Revelation of the coming age…

Conclusion, knowing that we are sinners, knowing that Christ came to save us from God’s Wrath though His Grace and that through the Atoning Blood of Jesus we are Redeemed and granted a reprieve to have a life of Splendor.. Just as when Jesus said to the convicted prisoner who said…Lord remember me when You come into Your Kingdom and Jesus said, “Today you will be with me in Paradise”

Jesus gave us His formula to a peaceful life while we journey to Him… This is clearest of all message we were given.  You can read a whole book on life management of 300+pages and it won’t tell you anything, but these two sentences from Jesus said it all…

Lord bless our Visitors as we are privilege to bring our messages of Good News, Lord let these messages be like a wild-fire across the world for Your Glory as we pray that even one person will come to know You Lord. Coming to the Lord

In Life there’s a lot of uncertainties, but one thing we can be sure of, we can accept our Lord Jesus as our Savior in the arms of faith, and say, "I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him." Do not let the thing of this world distract you, regardless of whatever it is…. We can be assured that we have a full assurance of our Lord Jesus’ interest in us. Nothing can substitute what our Lord has in store for us now in this life and at the end of our earthly lives, as in Him we have Life-Everlasting.

Remember Peter denied Christ three times, but after Jesus’ resurrection he told the angels to tell Mary that she should tell the disciples that he went ahead of them and he would meet them there and to tell Peter too.  This is a moving statement as Jesus remembered Peter who denied him and after rose from the dead, He remembered Peter and wanted to be sure Peter would come to see Him.

Focus: Come and buy without money… “If all it took was money anyone could do it”

For He Chose us in Him before the Creation of the World to be Holy                           and blameless in His Sight… So you are special.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Commentary:

Ready to have a wonderful weekend?  The TGIF slogan of Thank God it’s a Friday, the end of the week … Phil 4:13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.  Happy Monday!

Jesus said… Matthew 10: 30, 32, 33   And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 32 “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.

Stop to think… Looking up and Thanking our Father, that He chose us and you because He has a mission for us all… and before the Creation of the World He Chose Jesus to Redeem us and to be made Holy and Blameless in His Sight… How Gracious is our God, Jesus our Messiah, Thank You Father in Jesus name… Amen.

His Promise:

We are safe in Christ, Life circumstances cannot separate you from His Love. Romans 8:38-39  38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

His Faithfulness:

Matthews 10: 40 “Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. 41 Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. 42 And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”

Devotion:

As we step out in Faith today, let us take the baton and run to the finish line knowing that our Lord and Savior who is the Author and Finisher of our Faith is there waiting to award His Priceless Gift.

What a privilege our Lord has given us, this is far more valuable that all Olympic Gold Medals as the Olympic Gold is worth only $620.70 each. Imagine being CO-HEIR with  Jesus?  Yes, and this is already confirmed, not just something we wish for and have to earn, it is already given to us, all we have to do is to receive it. There are no Judges, no dispute or can anyone contest it, as it is GIVEN by The Almighty!.

“HIS GRACE IS GRANTED TO US THROUGH HIS CRUCIFIXION AND RESURRECTION AT CALVARY” HE IS OFFERING HIS PRICELESS GIFT OF SALVATION TO US, IT IS GIVEN BY HIS UNCONDITONAL LOVE.

Coming to our Lord:

Come and receive His Gift to us all, it is Un-Merited as we did not earn it, nor can we buy it is by His Graciousness that we can be a beneficiary.  As He did set us apart from this world  1 Corinthians 12: 27  Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

Our Lord cleared the way for us to come to HIM:

Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you.

MORNING:


FOCUS:  No Internet connection needed, no appointment necessary, and never a busy signal…

How often we say the Internet is slow, and the numerous time that the system is down?  In awe we look at billions of people coming to The Lord in prayers all at once, and yet their prayers are heard.

As we will recall Jesus telling Phillip that He saw him under the fig tree before he came to Jesus, Jesus was not in a place where there was line-of-sight’’ so Phillip marveled.  Our Lord is Omniscient, Omnipresence, and Omnipotent. 

The thief on the cross was close to Jesus who said… Lord remember me when You come into Your Kingdom… this condemned person just reached out to Jesus…  But Jesus saw his inner-heart and knew that this was a statement made with sincerity.

Another instance of the Grace of our Lord at work… Aaron was made a Chief Priest in-spite of his making of the Golden Calf and even lied about it when he said the image was formed out of the fire… God did not compromise when He made Aaron a Priest because God saw the true repentance and extended His Grace and chose Aaron.

Today we reaffirm that The Lord looks at our heart, what is our heart? The Brain controls our thinking but the heart reacts to our physiologic reaction of what we say and think by the pulse rate generated by our emotions.  So coming from the ‘Heart’ is the truth.  This process may also be a function of what the Lie-Detector monitors to arrive at the ‘emotional’ response that will translate to truth or not-true.

Let us pour out our hearts today to Praise our Lord Jesus as He is Supreme and He is Eternal and He is Faithful.  Know that He came to redeem us and as he said… He came that we would have an abundant life and to have it; More’ abundantly.

Devotional:

Lord Jesus knowing that what we think before we do it You already know it.., and Lord because You were there with the Father at the beginning, we affirm that Your coming is the ultimate sacrifice made for us… as said that ceremonial and symbolic worship cannot remove sin and only in You Lord Jesus we have forgiveness of sins by Your Grace and through Your Blood of Atonement.  Lord thank You for Your Saving Grace.

What is man’s greatest invention? (Actually nothing is invented by man, we only discover what already existed)

TEXT: 2 Peter 3:10

COMMENTARY:  Until the introduction of the IBM® Personal computer which was introduced on August 12, 1981 there were word-processing machines that were really a typewriter with a tape recording feature.  In fact it was just a little more advanced that the electric typewriter.  Until Microsoft introduced their Office-Suite and Apple® with their Macintosh® then the information age started to gather steam.  When the internet was first introduced widely in the early 90's which was originally made back in 1982 as a global networking system, later to be called the internet...  So today in almost 3-1/2 decades of word-processors leading to the World Wide Web the information age became a reality. 

Now the introduction of 3D Printing will propel technological advancements into a higher sphere of productivity.  Our answer to what is man’s greatest invention is… nothing, we are just ‘discovering’ just like Moses, he was not the author of all five books of the Old Testament, why?  Moses wasn’t yet born when these events took place in Genesis. But he was given the knowledge and the resources to document the events.

The Books of: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy are ‘Written’ by Moses…Moses ‘Compiled’ the historical events of the Creation and the genealogies, the Garden of Eden, the fall of man, (from Adam to the time of Noah) event of the Flood, ancient Mesopotamia, the Tower of Babel, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to Noah, the flood to Sodom and Gomorrah.  Exodus 24:4 Moses then wrote down everything the Lord had said. He got up early the next morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain and set up twelve stone pillars representing the twelve tribes of Israel. Comment:  God’s Divine Power of providing His inspired WORD was not today’s ‘Virtual-Memory’ it was super-naturally provided…

Hebrews 4:12

The Bible tells of Jesus return and we affirm The Third-Coming of our Lord Jesus…

Many denominations refer to the return of Jesus as...”The second Coming of Christ’, we prefer to say the Third-Coming of Jesus, why?

  • His First Visit: Because Jesus was in the Garden of Eden walking and talking with Adam, Genesis 3:8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Genesis 3:7-9 (in Context) Genesis 3 (Whole Chapter) 
  • His Second Visit: Then He came as a man born of a Virgin, crucified and Resurrected from the dead, and Ascended to Heaven,
  • His Third-Visit: … His return will then be the third time that Jesus came to earth. His next visit will be the last as Earth will be ‘Laid-Bare’ as said in 2 Peter 3:10 (NIV) 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come and Praise You… Lord Jesus today in Faith we come and in Faith we go forward acknowledging Your Graciousness. Lord as we are made Joint-Heirs in You Lord Jesus, we are privileged to serve You Lord. We thank You for the ask visitors coming to this Good News Website, Lord let the message bear fruit for Your Glory; and even one sinner that repents Lord, Your Angels will celebrate. FOCUS: Remember Jesus said… All your needs will be met. Be patient do not do what Sara did.

Thoughts for the day: God’s timeline is His, our timeline are usually flawed, and God knows what’s best for us all.

Text:    “The battle is not yours, but God’s. … Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed.   2 Chronicles 20:15, 17.” 


Commentary:  Writing about Sara and her decision that brought Ishmael into this world and this is why the Jews have so many enemies…  The lesson is be to be patient and wait on the Lord…

Today, Christians are being persecuted, killed and the feud continues stemming back from the parting of ways between Sarah and Hagar, and the offspring’s of Ishmael as predestined by God to be like a wild donkey remain militant against the Jews. 

God’s Covenant will never pass away, and His assurance in Chronicles and in Deuteronomy must be remembered and respected. And for us Gentiles, God made it clear in Romans 8:31-39 More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one, Christ Jesus who died —more than that, who was raised to life —is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
    we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We love our neighbors even those that are against us, as God loves us all, so do we as we pray for all, Jews, Gentiles, Iranians, and all. If you are a Moslem, Christians, Buddhist, Jewish, or an Atheist, the Grace of Jesus is extended to each of us, this Grace however will expire by one of two circumstance, one the day when the person dies, or if He is alive on the return of our Lord Jesus on the ‘Day of the Lord’ then it will be too late to receive the Priceless Gift, offered by our Lord.

This “Priceless’ Gift is the gift that as Jesus said… John 14:2-3 (NKJV) 
2. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Note the New International Version of the Bible makes reference to “Rooms” and the King James refers to Mansions…

Let’s look forward to either a Room or a Mansion, as our Lord is Gracious and His version of a room will not be a boarding house as He said His Kingdom is a Paradise.

But, notice, in Jesus’ statement there was a caveat (Warning) the word ‘IF” this is a major preface that applies to each of us, Jesus was saying If we qualify, and He meant, IF we were saved by His Redemption, which he later provided on the Cross, then He would go and prepare a place for each of us that accepted His Redemption. He was telling us that only those that knew Him would be with Him.

This is not an automatic gift, it must be received by each of us by coming to Him personally and acknowledging that you are a sinner and needed His Redemption, and by His Blood of Atonement, you will receive His SEAL that is a Down Payment on our Soul by His Blood and we are now written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. What is the Lamb’s Book? Because Jesus is the Lamb of God that paid it all by His Sacrifice for our Sin; this was prophesied in Isaiah 53 written 700 years before Jesus was born of a Virgin.

What a Gift He gave us, Praise God and Yield to His Son who is God Eternal.

We look to our future in Paradise as He said, as this is where He is and His presence makes it a place of Splendor. Praise God; in Him alone is our Hope because of HIS Greatness and not ours

“Do not be terrified. … The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you” (Deuteronomy 1:29-31). 

“All this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47). 

“If God is for us, who can be against us? … In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” (Romans 8:31, 37). 

Father in Heaven, in Jesus we come. We thank You in the name of Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Divine Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus Your Majestic Powers and Your Everlasting Love for us and your Grace are all we need. Lord We Love You Lord, we praise You and we are privileged to bring Your Good News to the ends of the world.  Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Divine Providence as You know our needs before we ask. Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

FOCUS: The Joy of brotherhood… the absence of malice rejoicing in The Lord

The supremacy of our Lord, yet He washed the feet of His disciples

Text: John 13:5

New International Version (NIV)

After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

Commentary:  Just think Jesus ‘The Incomparable’ God of the First Trinity, the Incarnate of God our Creator demonstrated His Humbleness of ‘Brotherhood’ by washing the feet of His disciples. Jesus was also telling them all are equal and no one is higher than the other.  See the action of the Lord affirmed by the full text below…

Jesus Washes His Disciples’ Feet

13 It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus. Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist.

 After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?”

Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”

“No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.”

Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.”

“Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!”

10 Jesus answered, “Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.” 11 For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not everyone was clean.

12 When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. 13 “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. 15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16 Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

Principle: Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you… James 4: 7 NKJV

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Colossians 2:9-10

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Hebrews 4:15-16

New International Version (NIV)

15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

The above text clearly outlined that Jesus is our High Priest, and we can come to Him unswervingly and boldly come into his Holy presence. Just as He said “it is Finished” the Curtain of the Temple was torn.

Conclusion:

Jesus fulfilled His mission to His Father, and ascended to His Father … as affirmed in Hebrews 1: 3 NKJV

Who (He Jesus) being the brightness of His Glory (God’s Glory)  and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on High.

The scriptures said… Isaiah 66:2

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come.  Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of the Father-Creator in Your Holy Trinity, we thank you for the privilege of coming into Your Holy presence. Lord today as we acknowledge that You are seated on the Throne of Righteousness we seek You and look to you Lord for Your divine guidance. Lord we thank You for Your Grace and Your Providence of meeting our needs. Lord, bless our Visitors and grant us Your Peace as we thank you for releasing Your favors upon all that call on You Name Lord. Lord bless this mission of spreading Your Good News and declaring to all Your Divine Grace and Majesty. FOCUS: How selfish would you be If you knew the cure for cancer and refuse to share it?

What would the world think of you if you had a cure for Cancer and not telling anyone?

    But Jonah ran away from the LORD and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the LORD.

Commentary:

It will be a difficult statement to be absorbed my many, but our Lord gave us a cure for a decease that is more deadly than Cancer… Cancer can only kill the Body not the Soul, so what is more deadly?  Sin! It doesn’t kill but it causes one to be in a constant state of dying but never dying… a state where the Soul is forever alive but never being able to escape from the captivity of Sin, forever in a state of consciousness but being unable to move; it is like having Muscular paralysis in a heated chamber.

If Death was the end then it wouldn’t be all that bad considering the alternative of lingering-on trapped in a motionless body in a heated chamber.  This is such a cruel thought that such a condition could be handed out to any of us.  Yes this is possible and is so described by Jesus, not only did Jesus graphically described the Rich man that was asking Father Abraham to send Lazarus with a tip of water to cool his tongue, but there was a great divide that separated this place of punishment from the Restored Garden of Eden.

So knowing the ‘Cure’ for Sin that is an ‘Anchor’ that will keep the un-repentant sinner fixed in a place of eternal punishment, and not dispensing this ‘Cure’ would be considered ‘Unconscionable in the sight of God. This is the reason why our Lord’s great command was to go and spread the Good news…     

His Promise:

Jonah’s Anger at the Lord’s Compassion

4 But to Jonah this seemed very wrong, and he became angry. He prayed to the Lord, “Isn’t this what I said, Lord, when I was still at home? That is what I tried to forestall by fleeing to Tarshish. I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity. Now, Lord, take away my life, for it is better for me to die than to live.”

But the Lord replied, “Is it right for you to be angry?”

Jonah had gone out and sat down at a place east of the city. There he made himself a shelter, sat in its shade and waited to see what would happen to the city. Then the Lord God provided a leafy plant and made it grow up over Jonah to give shade for his head to ease his discomfort, and Jonah was very happy about the plant. But at dawn the next day God provided a worm, which chewed the plant so that it withered. When the sun rose, God provided a scorching east wind, and the sun blazed on Jonah’s head so that he grew faint. He wanted to die, and said, “It would be better for me to die than to live.”

But God said to Jonah, “Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?”

“It is,” he said. “And I’m so angry I wish I were dead.”

10 But the Lord said, “You have been concerned about this plant, though you did not tend it or make it grow. It sprang up overnight and died overnight. 11 And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left—and also many animals?”

His Faithfulness:

The Word of God is immortal because He is Faithful… many of God’s Words are not pleasing, as His Words of ‘Warning’, His Word of Damnation, Judgment and separation from His forever in a lingering place of death, all these are Faithful Saying of our Lord. On the other hand He also gave us His Faithful saying of: Love, Peace, Salvation, Redemption, His promise to Prosper us and not to harm us, but these ‘Faithful’ promises of our Lord are not earned by us, but He offered these Goodness to us provided we look to Him and listen to His command and believing in His Faithfulness through our own Faith in Him.  Therefore, there is a governing factor which is ‘FAITH’ and having Faith in our Lord, and knowing the Good News of His Salvation and living by His guidance, notice the word here is ‘Guidance’ not command.  Our Lord will guide us, save us, prosper us and ultimately give us a place in His Kingdom, if we are Faithful. 

So Faith being the core factor here, and our Faith in our Lord is the Catalyst of having His Assurance of what Jesus said, “I have come so that you may have Life and have It more abundantly”…. John 10:10 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

You can run but you cannot hide…this is a statement not from the government, it is a factual statement when it comes to our Lord.  But we do not have to run, in fact our Lord extends His open arms to us to find the comfort, His Peace, His Love and His Redemption to Live Everlasting.  Do you think we need His Redemption? Why? And what is Redemption? As we are all made in the Likeness of God, we never die, our outer bodies will fade (from dust we are from and to dust we will revert to) but our ‘Being’ (Soul) lies on and when Redeemed by our Lord it will be transformed to be like Him and brought to a place of Splendor, a Holy Sanctified Place where there are no more Sin, a place of Joy, Joy is mentioned in the Bible 244 times, so our Lord’s centerpiece is the Joy in His presence. We are not saved by our Faith, we are saved by his Grace…

Ephesians 2:8-9New International Version (NIV)

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

JOHN 3: 16: New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Conclusion:

There are many events in the Bible where God rendered His ‘Cure’ for mankind… Saving the city of Nineveh by sending Jonah is an example. As we saw, Jonah knew of the “Cure” for the Wrath of Sin… and he relented and did not want to rendering to the Ninevites, but the Lord made sure that Jonah went and the city was reprieved from the impending destruction.

In the event of Noah and the Ark, While Noah knew that he was commanded to build this big vessel (ARK) he was focused on this and the ‘Cure’ for sins in Noah’s time was not his responsibility, but the Lord’s. We all know the outcome of this event, God destroyed everyone except for Noah, his families and the beast of the earth that were paired and brought into the Ark.

Prayer:

  Our quest to be independent can sometimes deter us from receiving the ‘Real’ HELP that can change our life or the lives of others.

Text:  Without me you can do nothing… John 15:5

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

Commentary: Independence means to be self–sufficiency, self-dependence, self-reliance, self-subsistence, self-support, so is anyone fits these categories, let us drop him off on a deserted island… We will see how long his self-sufficiency lasts.

Many former colonies of the British Empire sought independence and eventually became their own ‘sovereign’ nations, today on many continents we see changes under their self governed status, some for the better and some stark realities of meeting the needs of their population.  Maybe ‘Independence’ or ‘Self-Government’ should be more defined as being ‘Self-Identity’

Mankind has always sought the Self-Identity’ route; even trying to build a tower to reach Heaven… (The Tower of Babel) so the ‘ME’ syndrome is nothing new.  However, the reality of ‘Me, Me, and Me’ is summed up by John Donne Poem below…

 No man is an island,

Entire of itself.

Each is a piece of the continent,

A part of the main.

Commentary:  ‘I am a Christian… but I do not go to church because I cannot stand hypocrisy.  How can one say this? So when you get to heaven do you think God will give you your own ‘Island’ if we were all perfect, then we wouldn’t need Jesus, and Jesus would have dined for no reason.

Many of us do have some issues with others, in church, our neighbors, our business contacts, and especially drivers on the road. One sure way of getting you anxiety level up is driving on the streets of Miami, in a short quarter of a mile you will be cut-off 2 or more times. There is no reason to cut off the other driver two car lengths ahead just to get to the traffic light that will be turning red.  Human nature is no different from even the ducks, dogs, or any animal in the zoo, throw the food at them and there will be a scramble to get it first. Humans will probably do the same.  This trait is a result of being casted out of the Garden of Eden… so we all have to be seekers.

Jesus is whom we should seek, not the ‘country-club’ atmosphere of the church, we go to church for one reason and one only purpose… To Praise our Lord, to Thank Him to give Him the Glory, to receive His Divine Blessing from Him as He said where two or more are gathered “I Am in their midst” so the Blessing is flowing from Him by His Divine Holy Spirit… The Comforter that He sent on the day of Pentecost, so today as you attend service come to Christ in ‘Oneness’ because; in the Body of Christ is where we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace… Ephesians 1: 7

Forgive all that may have offended you who may have not greeted you and treat you as a stranger, ask the Lord to let them know that they will not be getting their own ‘Island’ they will be at a gathering in a place of Splendor where our Lord will be the center of it all.  We are individuals and we think we are all very special, but the Apostle Paul said, Let Christ increase and he Paul should decrease.  Today walk like you are Highly-Blessed to know that you are a Child of the Most-High.

Let us place this on record…No one is infallible, not the Pope, the President, the Queen, nor any in authority, as their authority are all limited, and they are all humans, created by our Lord.   So this morning as we listen to the presenter of the Gospel, focus on the Gospel and not the Messenger. The Gospel is the message, like when you listen to music, the equipment is just a platform that brings the music to life… so sharpen your minds and ‘Hear’ the message not the tonal voice of the person speaking…

A footnote to the human tragedy of man’s ruling…

56+ Million babies were aborted since Roe Vs Wade in the USA (Equivalent to 23.30% of the world)

1.3 Billion Babies aborted worldwide since 1980 (Equivalent to 18.50% of the world’s total population)

6.4 Million babies aborted by Planned Parenthood since 1970 they performed 116,000+ Abortions so far this year.

Our ‘Blog’ today is not to take away from the devotion, but we believe that unless we know the root cause of the ills of society, we cannot heal the nation. The only way that our nation can be healed is to turn to God and seek Him.  

Principle: Separation of ‘Church’ and State is like boarding the Titanic and ignoring safety, or more like driving without brakes…

His Promise / His Faithfulness:  “Vengeance is mine saith the Lord”…. Hebrews 10:30

For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The LORD will judge His people.”

EVENING: 

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Luke 12:27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Conclusion:  The value of Life is priceless, and man has squandered 1.3 Billion lives to accomplish what? Because of not wanting to reveal their illicit sex, or for selfish reasons, or just no respect for life.  Nothing hidden will remain a secret. All must know that our Lord is Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresence and He knows every event in each of our lives, all 7 billion people on earth, and the 1.3 billion killed under the false label of ‘Choice’

Coming to the Lord:

Colossians 1:9-23 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and long suffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus it is with humility we acknowledge Your Sacrifice knowing that You art the Great Jehovah-Jireh…  Our Messiah and God in One of our Father in His Holy Trinity.

Lord today we can come to You boldly as You gave us this privilege. Lord we acknowledge that You Ascended to the Throne of Righteousness sitting at the Right Hand of our Father Creator. Lord Jesus thank You for this privilege of coming into Your Holy presence.  Lord we thank You for Your Grace Your Love and Your Divine Redemption.  Lord bless this day as many will be assembled in Your houses of Worship, Lord let the message be clear and let many receive Your Salvation for Your Glory. TEXT: John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.


Focus:  As we read the reason for His coming and the Priceless Gift that He offers, receiving this Gift is the first step to living an abundant life, as He promised that He would never leave us nor forsake us… He promised us an abundant life full of His blessings…

Jesus said…

John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. In Context | Full Chapter |

Here is what to expect, when we come and accept The Priceless Gift by acknowledging Him as our Redeemer, we are made in a new person, you say, I do not want to be any other person but myself, this is a choice, but   by coming to HIM, there will be a spiritual change that will remove the scales from our eyes and to allow us to see and receive the Blessings.

This is great news, that such a Priceless Gift is made available to everyone, but there’s also a time limit, as we are under HIS Grace, and Grace is something un-earned and can be pulled at anytime. This is why the Lord said; ‘Today is the day of salvation’ now the bad news… if we do not accept His offer the future will be without that Life-everlasting that Jesus paid for at Calvary…

Devotional: 

Ephesians 2: But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

The time limit is clearly stated in the Bible… No one knows the time of our Lord’s return, only the Father, because our Lord Jesus is the ‘GREAT I AM’ and His Father God loved us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to die for us, as said in John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17: For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 

God’s word above refers to the World, but in Verse 18, we will observe that the theme here was “Whoever”

 John 3:18: Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

Because He said that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God, this is why His Redemption is a Priceless Gift, and cannot be purchased or earned.  It is also noted that the key word in the foregoing statement, was “ALL” therefore it means that no one can meet HIS Criterion of being Sinless…. To make us eligible to be redeemed, He died in our place and rose triumphantly, and by this we became eligible though HIS resurrection and He offers this today as His Priceless Gift of Salvation.

His Promise:

Hebrews 13:5 (New International Version, ©2010)

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Philippians 4: 6: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4: 13 I can do all things through Christ[b] who strengthens me. Philippians 4: 19 & 20 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.

His Faithfulness:

He came and redeemed us, as in the beginning after Adam and Eve breached his commandment, GOD said, “you will surely die”: Genesis 2: 16; And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” >>>>        because God’s words are powerful he had to COME, not ‘SENT’ as we were taught that He ‘Sent his Son’ yes; there is a Holy Trinity as He said, that his Father sent him, and He also stated: “I am the way the truth and Life…

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” 
and he told His Disciples… when he leaves he would send us a comforter, His Holy Spirit, this is the Holy Trinity, Trinity is defined as The Triune God…

To redeem us from His word, ‘Eat of this and you will surely die’ [Genesis 2:16], He came, for the purpose of paying the ultimate sacrifice, and He departed. We should look at the way He came, and the way He departed.  He came as a Child, for the sole purpose of?  Redemption, He came for the redemption of our sins, and HIS word ‘Eat of this and you will surely die’ Genesis 2: 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. 

Action/Coming to our Lord:

What will we need for the Journey? It’s already provided… Why not get it?

Not to be repetitious, it is to highlight the ‘Command’ that was broken, causing us all as descendants from Adam to be from this linage that was condemned to die… to the day that we accept the Priceless Gift.

But you might say, I am a good person, I do not steal, I do not go contrary to the 10 commandments, and I also attend church or; I observe the Sabbath and is in the Temple praising God, All this is good, but we did not commit the sin, it was handed down to us because of Adam and this is why we are sinners.

Conclusion:

Now that he has made this right, by paving the way, creating the passageway, such a unique route that man cannot sell tickets for this journey, we can all get aboard.  This Passageway is the ‘Priceless-Gift’ that all the Gold in the world cannot purchase, nor can we earn it by our own doing…  Ephesians 2: 8-9-10

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Eternal Sovereign God in One of Your Holy Trinity. Lord Jesus thank You for coming and thank You for Your Divine Redemption; Lord today as we acknowledge You before all knowing that You are seated on the Throne of Righteous, Lord bless us and the work of this Good News site and all our Visitors that Your Favors will be released on us all, we recognize Your Power of Your Divine Resurrection and Your Majestic Glory as King of kings and Lord of lords and You are Sovereign Lord Jesus. As said in the scriptures that you were there from the beginning of it all and You are the Great “I AM”, Lord we Pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Focus:  The Power of Prayer… Prayer is the source of Power given to us by our Lord to seek HIM.

Matthew 6: 7-8 NIV

Jesus taught us how to pray

7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Commentary:

Prayer is a Divine interaction with our Lord, He gave us this privilege of coming to Him, and He also revealed many secrets to us:

1. Faith: This is the Power of coming into His Presence; Faith is the key step in          coming to Him,

2. Belief: He said when we pray we must have Faith and Believe we already          received His Favor

3. Supremacy:  He is Supreme and Sovereign, and we must place Him First over all

4. Redemption: Acknowledge His Redemption and His Grace that saved us

5. Holy Spirit:  Seek His Holy Spirit and He is Omnipresence and Omni potent.

6. Thanksgiving Give Thanks and acknowledge in Faith that whatever we Ask or Think He said He will do

Are you facing a Giant today, Our Lord can make a way for you to overcome it and be victorious... Praise our Lord Jesus for He is Faithful.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

   “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,

12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’

   14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Philippians 4: 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. We need to focus on the positive more and still remember the negative results of sins. Our Lord is saying in HIS Prayer “   “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”… He was telling us while we are here the following will apply:

  • He (Jesus) is as powerful here on earth as He is in Heaven
  • He will supply our needs here while we are here on earth
  • He will protect from evil, by us trusting and knowing Him
  • As Christians we need to emphasize the following:
  • The Positive aspects of following our Lord Jesus, as He is Holy
  • The Joy that He provides by His words of Assurance
  • The Victory we have in Him

The satisfaction of spreading His Good news to others, as we spread His fragrance we also receive His blessings too.

We are to tear down the barriers to achieve the secret of satisfaction in coming to Jesus and fellowship in Christ in Oneness; knowing that we can find the fulfillment of all our needs in fellowship with God.

We thank our Lord Jesus for His Faithfulness and for His unspeakable gift.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 NIV 

Principle:  Humbleness and Meekness shall triumph over pride and the boastful ones will be debased.  Pride debases those that boast and put their trust in money and earthly things…. Correct Living is rooted in Christ    Pride displaces God from the heart in favor of Self 

Hebrews 10:23 New International Version (NIV) 

23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
Let us not judge others, and remembering that forgiveness is the first step towards building a relationship among each other.  To be less self-centered and Christ Centered 

Conclusion:

We read...The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: "God, I thank you that I am not like other men--robbers, evildoers, and adulterers--or even like this tax collector." - Luke 18:11 

Looking at such a prayer, we need to be less 'self-centered' and more 'Christ-Centered' as our Lord while on the cross, simply said... "Father forgive them for they know not what they do". Remember also as Jesus said while on the cross, "It is Finished" several events took place... Earthquakes, the Sun went dark for 3 Hours, the Curtain in the Temple was Torn, It should be noted that the Curtain was replaced by HIS NEW COVENANT, by HIS ULTIMATE SACRIFICE; and Jesus became our HIGH PRIEST! And... knowing that Jesus our Redeemer ascended to Heaven and sits on the Throne of Righteousness, and HE intercedes on our behalf as our Advocate, as our High Priest. What a privilege He gave us to be able to come to Him. 

Hebrews 7:25..."Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him (Jesus), because He always lives to intercede for them. (Hebrews 7:25 NIV) 

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus today as Your Houses of Worship where many are gathered Lord as You said You are in their midst… Lord let Your presence be felt and let Your churches be filled with Hearers that will receive Your Good News of your Redemption. Lord let the presenters of Your Messages be anointed with Your Holy Spirit to bring the Gospel to many and Lord; be with them as You are proclaimed to be God in One of our Father and as King of kings.  Lord Jesus we give You the Glory as we seek Your blessings on us all. Lord bless our visitors as we bring Your messages for Your Glory that many will come to know You Lord, as only what’s done for You Lord will last.  Lord we thank You for the privilege of serving You, and in You Lord Jesus we commit all to You and Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

TOPIC: Is your Future secure? Secure the future leading to the ‘Golden-years’ of your life… Read more…

And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Focus:  ‘Near-future’ versus ‘Distant-future’ this more than a figure of speech.  We are all on a journey, as we are all ‘sojourners’ which is defined as… to stay for a time in a place; live temporarily: our life’s experience over our lifetime of 70-80-90 or more is still finite.  But we were created in the likeness of God and God is Infinite.  Therefore, as Jesus said… “I go to prepare a place for you, and ‘If’ I go I will return and where I am you will be also”.  Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3
And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

His Warning: Be aware of Jesus’ statement, He said ‘If”; why? Because while He was going, He would only build a place for those that are in Faith and the unbelievers would not be an heir to His Kingdom. (Therefore Voltaire the Atheist could not sell what he did not have the rights to.) Many of us read this and presumed that Jesus’ statement of Him going meant that ‘everyone’ would receive a ‘place’, there is no entitlement by default, and Jesus statement of “IF” was very specific to believers in Faith.

Only He (our Lord) knows the future…James 4: 14

Beyond, this defines what we expect beyond this life.  An Atheist with no Hope, Faith, Belief, without the Grace of a Loving God, what does the word ‘Beyond’ means? Again we as believer are created in the Likeness of our Creator, how are Atheist created? By a natural birth? Or some other form of coming into existence that are not from a creation genealogy?

The end of life is not the end of it all…  Jesus said…

TOPIC: The Supremacy of Jesus whom God made “The Christ” and His Preeminence above all.

Focus:  The ‘Fragrance’ of our Lord…

TEXT: 2 Corinthians 2:14-3:5 New King James Version (NKJV)

14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 16 To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? 17 For we are not, as so many, [a] peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.

Commentary: The love of God a hymn written in 1917...

The love of God is greater far

Than tongue or pen can ever tell;

It goes beyond the highest star,

And reaches to the lowest hell;

The guilty pair, bowed down with care,

God gave His Son to win;

His erring child He reconciled,

And pardoned from his sin.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

As we spread the Word of our Lord, His Fragrance will also surround us... If you had a choice of who to represent, assuming the choice was a Winner versus an unknown that could be a loser in the end, the obvious choice would be to go with the winner... The following words are what described our Lord Jesus when we choose HIM:

  • Victory
  • Triumph
  • Sovereignty
  • Joint-Heir
  • Providence
  • Goodness & Righteousness

Remember our Lord also gave a Sound-Mind with Power. Now all these goodness is wrapped up in one tidy package which Jesus called... Faith.

EVENING:

Coming to The Lord:

Coping with the anxieties of this world, today we have a HERO… and our Hero is our Sovereign God.

The Supremacy of God… a forgotten fact among many today; since the beginning of history humans all over the world have sought to achieve greatness on their own. In recent times, we have seen the tyrants of the world, the exploiters of their own, and the persecutors of others and especially against Christians in certain parts of the world.

As the age of information came, so did the rise of the anxiety meter of most individuals, we are bombarded with news and reports of violence and constant conflicts among nations and an array of world events that are making the “Days of Noah” appear to be more like a simpler time… really? No the human traits have not changed only more amplified and expanded to a greater extent.

The apostle Paul wrote, "Being confident of this, that He (God) who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6). 

By HIS New Covenant, as Jesus was dying on the Cross of Calvary where His Blood was shed for our Atonement, He said… ”It is Finished” The Bible said; the Veil of the Temple was torn, this was the Revelation of the New Covenant, at that very moment we passed from the “LAW” to ‘GRACE” as He granted HIS Grace.

Grace is a like a reprieve or an extension or to grant a release of a Debt or being Pardoned…

  • The Veil is Removed
  • Our Lord is no longer ‘Hidden’
  • He is Sovereign, HE is Supreme
  • He Redeemed us and He Paid-it-all
  • And ONLY Through Jesus we can have a future life in a place of Splendor.

Neither Buddha nor Mohammed can give you that Assurance as our Divine Eternal God Came, Died, Rose and Ascended and sits on the Throne of Righteousness and HE is our Advocate.

We cannot worship nature, things that we see and the goodness of men, why? Because He (God) Created it all, and He is calling us to receive His Precious Priceless gift that all the gold cannot purchase.

We also need to know that Jesus is not just ‘His Son’… He is God in one as you read in:

John 1, Hebrews 1, and Colossians 1

Jesus is the Anointed Son, we were taught in Sunday’s school that Jesus is the Son of God, then even right now, for us that do not know our Lord, will say, how can God have a Son and He wasn’t married?  We must remember that we are finite in our thinking ability and our life span, and only God is Infinite, God knew our limited capability, so He spoke to us using Metaphor or narrated His message using simple analogy to convey the scope of His thinking to us whom He created.

In the Bible there are many Parables and description of His Messages, example, the Vine and the Branches, The Lamb of God, and many others, but one of His most profound statement made publicly was when Jesus said in His Kingdom there are many Mansion, and: “IF” He go and prepare a place for “YOU” He will come and get you so that where He is You can also be… This is oftentimes taken as a ‘Security-Blanket’ and this is to be translated by the Context of “IF & “YOU”, why, because His statement was a conditional statement with a Caveat that IF You received Him and trusted in Faith, He would go and you would be a Beneficiary, on the flip side if you did not believe then He was not going on your behalf. 

We need to know that we cannot go to God unless through Jesus, why” because He is the Gatekeeper, and He is our Advocate (for those that know him). So if we do not know Him or turned away like the tribe of Judah when they were taken captive, they worshipped Idols, anything, person or whatsoever other that Jesus is consider above Jesus Christ, will be considered as idols.

Buddha and Mohammed were spiritual leaders but they did not have a Triumphant Resurrection, they are in man-made boxes. Just like the idols they had to be nailed down so they do not topple over. Worshippers of idol had to ‘carry’ their stone gods, Jesus carries us, and He is our Hero.

The Bible teaches that when we receive Him (Jesus Christ) we are saved and He will never … let us be lost;

7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord today we Praise You and thank You Lord for Your Graciousness. Lord thank You for the privilege of serving You and having Visitors to our sites bearing Your Good Need for Your Glory. Lord we seek Your Divine guidance and we seek Your blessings on our Visitors and Lord let there be just one that will come to know You today as the angels will celebrate in heaven. Lord we pray for the needs of all as we know that in You we have Victory and all things work together for good as we love You Lord. The Good Shepherd and His Sheep  

1 “Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. 

2 The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. 

3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 

4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. 

5 But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.” 

6 Jesus used this figure of speech, but the Pharisees did not understand what he was telling them.

13 The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.

Be sure we are not separated from our Lord on the Day of the Lord... 

Devotional: 

John 3 New International Version (NIV) The Facts:  John 1: 18…No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.This is why God Sent His Son Jesus who is our Sovereign Eternal God in One of HIS Holy Trinity… The Word Became Flesh1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning.   3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.  5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.  (This is Jesus, The CHRIST)  Many of us think that Christ is the last name of Jesus, He is “The CHRIST” made The Christ by the Divine Holy Anointing of His Father the Creator who bestowed on Him from the beginning He was with God; and as we read He is God and was there from the beginning with God, and through Him (Jesus) all things were made, and; without Him nothing was ever made.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.  Romans 8: 28

Conclusion: God made a way for us to be ‘Redeemed’ and Jesus is the way, and His Resurrection proved that we do live forever, but there are two destinations after our physical earthly death, One is the way of everlasting suffering, and the other is His Everlasting Joy in a Place of Splendor by knowing Him (Jesus our Redeemer).

So which do we choose? It is obvious, the Everlasting Life of Joy in Jesus. He said…

But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.

Warning Against Unbelief

So, as the Holy Spirit says:

“Today, if you hear his voice,     do not harden your hearts  as you did in the rebellion,     during the time of testing in the wilderness,

Remember… Jesus our Sovereign God in One of His Holy Trinity has the power to save, as he said to the thief on the cross next to him that said;  “Lord remember me when you come into Your Kingdom” …

Coming to the Lord:  Do not wait till the last moment to come to him, it is like driving off the lot in your brand new car without insurance, this is something you can do if you paid for it in full but if you financed or leased this vehicle, you had to provide proof of insurance before driving off the lot, if we placed so much value on an automobile, what do we think of our soul that will live forever? So come to Him Now?

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come. Lord Jesus today as You sits on the Throne of Righteousness our Savior, we come in Faith and acknowledge Your Redemption and stand in Awe knowing that You did this for us, Lord Your Unconditional Love for us overwhelms us, knowing that You died on a cross, O Lamb of God… Jesus our Messiah, our King our Lord we are humbled by Your Gift through Your Blood of Atonement. Lord let us renew our acceptance of Your Atoning Blood that Redeemed us, and now in You Lord Jesus we have Victory, as You were Victorious in Your Divine Resurrection. Lord we thank You for Your Grace, we thank You for the privilege of serving You and reaching many for Your Glory, Lord we ask Your Favors upon us all and for our Visitors to come and know You and have Your Redemption, as we look to that day when we shall see You as You are. MORNING:          

TOPIC: Who is the most important person you will meet today?

Who is the most famous person you have ever met? Which famous person would you like to meet today?

Text:  Romans 1:16 New International Version (NIV)

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Commentary:  

A ‘Famous person’ is as the Italian Mama said to her son, “you are only as good as your last Pizza”.  One of the more famous individual we hear a lot of is Nobel, the person named in the ‘Nobel Peace Prize’, Alfred Bernhard Nobel was a Swedish chemist, engineer, innovator, and armaments manufacturer. He was the inventor of dynamite, Alfred Nobel endowed his fortune to award prizes now known as the Nobel Peace Prize.

The most famous of all times is our Lord Jesus, and everyone will get to meet Him, as on the day that is known as “The Day of the Lord’ Jesus will return and His presence will be seen from the East to the West.

Scoffer over the years have said… I have heard of the return of our Lord, and still we haven’t seen Him…. Peter the Apostle addressed this and Peter’s description of the Day of our Lord is so precise, we thought it was good to post the Text from Peter’s letter.

2 Peter 3: 3- 18; 3 Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.  4 They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”  5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water.  6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.  7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the Day of Judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.  9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.  13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

14 So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. 15 Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

This is how everyone will know when Jesus returns…

The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.

To know the Lord is key, to know of him is like shopping with a ‘wish-list’ but not making a commitment. But when you know Him you can join in and say… But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,

Conclusion: 

Famous people are sometimes the loneliest people, many famous celebrities feed on their celebrity/popularity status, and they must be noticed or have a following.  In former times there were fan clubs, but now they have publicists, and lack of recognition can be a problem to many celebrities.

On the day of the Lord, there will be no lines for celebrities, as there are no Hierarchy in the presence of our Lord.  However there will be a special line for those that are described in Romans 8: 1…

Life Through the Spirit

8 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

Commentary: We are sorry to disappoint many as there some careers and trades that will not be needed in Heaven.  Lawyers, Doctors, Undertakers and many others, why? There will be no death, no pain, and no strife.  Luke the Apostle was a Physician, Jesus made Him a ‘Fisher of men’ but in Heaven Luke’s became a ‘New-Creation’.

Just think, there will be no pharmaceutical companies, no greed, no pills and no dependency on anyone. What a glorious state it will be for us as ‘Joint-Heir’ with Christ.

Romans 8: 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

 

Heaven is Real… God is Real – Eden Restored, a Place of splendor filled with the presence of our Lord, a place of Joy… Joy is mentioned in the Bible 244 times.

You should not worry; the Bible clearly teaches that if we know Christ, we are safely in God's hands forever when we die, and that nothing "in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:39).

The entire Bible is about Jesus, The Christ… Jesus the Anointed Holy Son that is our Redeemer; the Bible written between the years 1,446 and 1,406 BC The Bible foretells of the coming of the Messiah, and His second coming. We will take time to clarify that Moses is known to be the Author of Genesis, but Moses was not yet born when God created the Heavens and the Earth, so how did Moses write Genesis?  Moses who was educated in the Egyptian society, Moses’ writing of Genesis was  based on what he gathered through sources of the  beginning;  God Himself walked in the Garden of Eden and speaking of His Creation, almost on a play-by-play narrative. Through the linage of Adam to the time of Moses, the events of the creation were preserved. So we accept the fact that Moses is the author by compilation and recording of the events.

As we talk about Eden Restored and the reality of Heaven, we must note that mankind did not take too long to fall from favor with The Creator.  But God is Infinite and He knew all of our short-comings so Jesus His Son was pre-destined to be our Redeemer.

Commentary:      “We are a Good News Resource… so we focus of the Solution”

Headline… Apple CEO Tim Cooke declares that his is Gay….

The question: Is God concerned with our Global Moral & Financial crisis, or even a potential disaster? Our answer is yes, but it is a problem that our Lord will not ‘Fix’ as in many ways it is un-fixable due to the agenda that our nation has embarked upon.  History dating back thousands of years reflected the fall of nations, and even the destruction of countries.  

Are we reaching the zenith of what America has beholden as the ultimate despicable edict that has made our Lord angry with us? What could this be? To be like Sodom & Gomorrah by a presidential ‘decree’ endorsing gay marriages.

Please do not get us wrong, we love everyone including our gay sisters and brothers, but the Bible speaks about this as an abomination to our Lord. We did not make this up… our leaders are endorsing Evolution and making this a curriculum in our schools?  They have removed the Name of Jesus from Prayers, they have endorsed Abortion and are promoting pre-marital sex by distributing condoms, and financing Abortion clinics in the name of pro-choice.  So any government that feels that by packaging, Killing babies as ‘Pro-Choice’ and Homosexuality as ‘a Life-Style’ why not call, crime by a more friendlier name? Why not call the drug dealers by a friendlier name?  while they continue with their drug-war and ruining lives.  We are not making these up, this is the order of the day in society. 

How can we exist under such repulsive acts that are now becoming mainstream by any administration? Under our God’s timeline His warning is already heralded, the clock is ticking and under our nation’s timeline, we are probably ignoring these ills in our society by saying…” I personally can avoid this and it is something that I am not a part of’ may be somewhat true, but we are all on this one Titanic called Earth, it is destined to implode unless we take notice and turn to our Lord… is it too late? Our Lord never said so, the Bible said

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

He gave us this solution that can fix our problem, God’s ability to ‘Fix” our problem is a Divine approach, that will not take decades, as He said He would “Heal” our Land…

Power corrupts, we saw this in the many Kings that ruled… Absolute Power has proven to be the downfall of men.  Our Constitution (of the United States of America) provides that we can  make changes by our Franchise a privilege available to every Citizens of this county, by Voting our  rights and making changes.  This is not a political message, we are focused at our Lord and what matters to Families, Quality of Life and a society centered on a wholesome set of principles. 

His Promise:

Vengeance is mine, said the Lord…. The decline of empires litters the roads of man’s history. We see America falling into this trap and this is nothing surprising to our Lord. The Bible is full of these practices that are highly offensive to our Lord, and His warning is being brought into full focus.  The question is…Are we there yet?  Are we in the time of Noah? It is like what Ruth Graham said, Our Lord owes Sodom an apology” as earth is just as corrupt as Sodom & Gomorrah.  What a profound statement from the dear wife of one of God’s faithful servant, Billy Graham.

We can rely on His Promise:  2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

His Faithfulness:

Our Lord is Faithful and while we ask… Are we there yet? Me maybe there, but He is willing to receive our repentance and turning from our wayward focus by turning to Him as said in the above Scripture, He will grant us a reprieve, just like he did for the city of Nineveh. 

Action/Coming to our Lord:

When God is left out of our lives, He sometimes will make a way for us to be reminded that He is in charge. The resurgence of our Lord’s presence in the lives of many Haitians happened after the catastrophic earthquake that leveled Port Au Prince, It is not the intent of our Lord to bring disaster to any, but He is the same yesterday and Tomorrow, His warning still stands. America is not too powerful to ignore His warning Rather than a Tsunami or a major Quake, we will have an event that will hurt this society where the pain will make more impact; this is could be an economic meltdown, leading to many this will be a humbling experience. 

There is time to come to our Lord, Seek Him and His Righteousness first and He will provide what we need today and will need in due course. He is our protector, He is our Refuge, He is our Abiding Light, and He is the Shepherd that leads to Green Pastures, as said in the 23rd Psalm. (Read below)

Prayer: Father we come in Jesus our Lord and savior. Lord Jesus knowing that you were there from the beginning of it all through the Holy Trinity. Lord bless this day as we start in Faith knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and are interceding for us, Lord Jesus we thank You for Your unconditional Love as You endowed it all to us by giving us dominion over all, but we have squandered it. MORNING:          

TOPIC: Joining the club? Many exclusive clubs will not let you join unless you are invited, but God is inviting us to join Him now. Unlike some exclusive club you cannot just go and say… “I want to be a member” but you can go to Jesus and say…” I want to become a follower, may I join you Lord” and His answer is yes, come on in and be a Joint-Heir.

FOCUS: The benefits of most Private-clubs are temporary and is just a gathering place with one purpose… to set the members apart from the ‘the non-members’ and the membership status gives many a feeling of being ‘Elite’.  To qualify you have to be recommended by one or more members in good-standing, and be approved by a board and then you will be required to pay a substantial initiation fee and probably take a pledge to somewhat ‘alienate’ yourself from the ‘ordinary-people’ as you are now a member of an exclusive group.

In society there is the ‘We – They’ class distinction which is at times can be a form of prejudice, a word derived from ‘pre-judging’ others. While Jesus said… “All have sinned and there is none righteous”, he made no class distinction because He said ‘ALL’ and this includes even those that are saved by His Grace as we are still a sinner but saved by His Grace.

There is the story of the foreigner seeing a native reading the Bible and he said young man who gave you the Bible and why are you reading it? The young man said… sir I have the rights to read this as my name is written in this book, the arrogant foreigner looking down on this native, said, and where is your name in this book? The young man said, see it’s right here and the foreigner said that word is ‘Sinner’ and the young man said this is my name.  The foreigner stopped and then realized that his name was also in the Bible…”Sinner”

Yesterday we spoke about self-esteem and the many factors of what causes a high or a low self-esteem, the example in the story above is certainly one way of contributing to one’s low self-esteem, but the response to the indignant approach most certainty brought the high-minded person to reality. And on the other hand should lift the self-esteem of the humble young man as he led this person to Christ.

TEXT:

Romans 3:22-27, 29 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Conclusion:

:  The streets in Heaven are paved with Gold… but getting there we have many challenges; only by the Grace of our Lord we can reach our final destination of Splendor.

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Commentary: Many religious broadcasters preach that have you must have faith… and ‘Faith’ becomes the saving factor.  Why comment on this? Faith is good, but if not knowing that it is the ‘Grace’ of God that saves, not your faith, then the message is lost.

Faith is a belief in something unseen, or having faith that we can receive the power or God’s Divine Gift, which is by the Blood of Jesus.  Grace as defined by your insurance company that the premium is due on the 10th but the last day before the policy is cancelled is the 15th, this ‘Grace’ by man was instituted to allow for the late delivery of the mail before they cancel your coverage. In God’s schedule, His Grace is the ‘Gap’ between your acceptance of Him as Your Savior and the time when you enter His Kingdom at which time you will be fully sanctified and free from sin forever.

Now His Grace period the ‘Gap’ when you are saved and have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we are still sinners but under Grace, and now that you are saved, Jesus will be your Intercessor, as we now have an advocate with Jesus.  So as an enlightened sinner now redeemed, we are like a ‘recovering alcoholic’ that lives by each day to remain sober, so we as an enlightened sinner will do the same, but we have the Holy Spirit that is now with us. 

By studying His word, we will find that His Word is like a lamp to our pathway that guides us to maintain the straight and narrow pathway leading us to Him.

As the Scripture Text said, we are saved by Grace, and not of anything we do.  Therefore, we need to also know that no one comes to the Father unless through Jesus Christ.  And that there is no other name by which we must be saved…

John 14:6

Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Prayer: Father in Jesus we come. Focus:  Our life experience with good parental nurturing will build Self-Esteem…an internet site asks; where does Self-Esteem Come From?

Self-esteem does not evolve, it is instilled in us throughout our lives as we interact among positive people and one develops an image of oneself through our experiences with different people and activities.  Growing up with loving parents having good-positive Experiences during childhood provides the best building blocks in the shaping of self-esteem. Growing up experiencing our successes, failures, and how we were treated by our family, teachers, coaches, religious authorities, and peers, all contributed to the creation of our self-esteem.

Positive interaction contributes to healthy self-esteem I.E:

  • To be heard and receiving the attention when you speak...
  • To be spoken to respectfully
  • Being nurtured by getting attention and affection
  • To be recognized when you accomplish an achievement and not been chided when a mistakes or failures occur.  Key is to be acknowledged and accepted

Experiences that will lead to low self-esteem include:

  • Receiving harsh criticism
  • Physically, sexually, or emotionally abused
  • Being ignored, ridiculed, or teased
  • Being expected to be perfect all the time. Many with low self-esteem derive this from constant negative remarks—from parents, teachers and or their peers

Devotional- Good News -His Faithfulness:

Heavenly Father You have not set any standards that imposes how eloquent we must be to come to You. Father Your Son Jesus have said… “You must be Born-Again”. Lord Jesus it is only by Your Grace that we can be made a new Creation through your divine Redemption.  Lord today we thank You for this privilege and we praise You and we acknowledge that it is by Your Grace we are saved and not of anything we do.  Lord Jesus thank you for coming and thank You for remembering us Lord Jesus, we go in Faith and You Lord is Preeminent in all that we do.

EVENING:

because our God the Father is the ‘GREAT I AM’ and HE loved us so much that He sent His Son to die for us, as said in John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17: For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 

God’s word above refers to the World, but in Verse 18, we will observe that the theme here was “Whoever”

 John 3:18: Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

Because He said that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God, this is why His Redemption is a Priceless Gift, and cannot be purchased or earned.  It is also noted that the key word in the foregoing statement, was “ALL” therefore it means that no one can meet HIS Criterion of being Sinless…. To make us eligible to be redeemed, He died in our place and rose triumphantly, and by this we became eligible though HIS resurrection and He offers this today as His Priceless Gift of Salvation.

TOPIC: Competition is good? Yes and No… Good when there is no envy, to triumph without dismissing anyone as a loser.

Focus:  Envy and strife are the result of today’s competitive interactions… Yes there are good clean sportsmanship among us but the Media and promoters have made a three-ring circus of many competitive events. In the realms of our Lord’s criteria, there are…’No-good-Christians, or ‘better-Christians’ there are only one category and that is a Born-Again Christian.

You cannot ‘Test-Drive’ wanting to be a Christian or not… Competition in the eyes of God is measured by our Faith And you cannot ‘half-believe’ and knowing that in the realms of being Born-Again, there are no ‘ifs’ or ‘but’.

Jesus said come to Him life a Child… Matthew 18:4

Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Good News -His Faithfulness:

In Jeremiah 9:24, we read: "'But let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,' declares the Lord."

Commentary: Be bold, be not afraid…Be filled with Courage & Boldness by Confidence. Confidence gained through Faith.  Let your experience of trusting our Lord Jesus be the substance of your courage.  Threats from man are ‘empty’ and just words.

There is a story of an English citizen arrested in a South American country some years ago. This man was charged in taking part in a revolt, for this he was to face the firing squad, when the order was given to fire, the English consul suddenly ran forward and covered the man with the British flag, and then on the other side came the American consul and covered him with the American flag, this resulted in the man not being shot and released to the British consul for protection.

Just like the Blood of the Lamb during the Passover in Egypt that protected the first-born Israelite, once we have been cleansed by the Atoning Blood of Christ, and then we are safer than being behind the English or American flags

Conclusion:

Conclusion: The Bible is full of Jesus’ promise of His love for use, and beyond His love He gave His life for us and by His Resurrection He conquered death so that though His Blood we are cleansed and are now Sanctified by His Grace, and His Grace will keep us till that day when we shall be Transformed in a place of Splendor where sin do not exist because of His Holy Presence and His Radiance will spread the Joy of His Holiness.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord we rejoice.  Lord Jesus we look forward to a future with You knowing that You are compassionate to all. Lord let us be bold but yet humble to present Your Word and the Good News of Your Salvation. TOPIC: Fear of the unknown… Columbus who ‘discovered’ the new world was really lost and found the Americas by accident.

 

TEXT: James 4:8 [Full Chapter]

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Focus:  It is 2015 and we are here in the presence of God… while Columbus ‘stumbled’ unto the new world by accident;  many of us are traversing this journey of life without a compass.  In the war movie ‘the longest day’ while the allied forces were headed in the wrong direction because the Germans turned the sign pointing the wrong way leading them into a trap, they were saved because there was someone with a compass that stopped them and turned them around…

The devil is always turning the signs around and pointing the way to destruction… so let’s carry our Compass which is the Holy Spirit, we do this by drawing near to God and He will light our pathways.

Coming to the Lord:

Coping with the anxieties of this world, today we have a HERO… and our Hero is our Sovereign God.

Commentary:

The Supremacy of God… a forgotten fact among many today; since the beginning of history humans all over the world have sought to achieve greatness on their own. In recent times, we have seen the tyrants of the world, the exploiters of their own, and the persecutors of others and especially against Christians in certain parts of the world.

As the age of information came, so did the rise of the anxiety meter of most individuals, we are bombarded with news and reports of violence and constant conflicts among nations and an array of world events that are making the “Days of Noah” appear to be more like a simpler time… really? No the human traits have not changed only more amplified and expanded to a greater extent.

All of what we read, see and hear of the conflicts and events are all ‘Self-inflicted’ why if we were to turn from all our wicked ways and come to God and adopt His teaching and apply it to our neighbors, then there would be brotherly love and peace would prevail among all, then why not just do this and let us experience peace? This is a tall order and almost impossible to achieve on our own. Remember the event of Cain & Abel, the first recorded murder?

Good News -His Faithfulness:

The apostle Paul wrote, "Being confident of this, that He (God) who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6).

MORNING:          

TOPIC:   The cattle on a thousand hills they are the Lord’s… He made the elements so precise our moon, the ocean floor, etc.

Focus: God gave us dominion over all living things and he gave us ‘Free-will’; God in His infinite Power and Glory trusted us and because He is God and His Creations were made for us as He made us in ‘His-Likeness’. As God said…”Let US make man in our likeness” we were made by His hands as He spoke the elements and all things into being, He made us and breathed Life into us. And this ‘Life” is the Spirit that God endowed to each of us.

As scientists continue their research the recent discovery of quantum vibrations in microtubules inside brain neuron may be what Jesus referred to as a ‘Grain of Mustard’ Seed…  Quantum-Physics is still a mystery and this is the utopia that scientists are trying to achieve, the ability to travel at the speed of light is what man would like to achieve. Yet God has already made this provision, as Jesus ‘Ascended’ and as we said in a previous posting thousands of believers are performing this feat daily as they too ‘Ascended’ to the presence of the Lord.

The topic that all things including us are the Lord’s and the Good News is that He said; He came that we will have an abundant life and to have it ‘More’ abundantly… so Jesus revealed the ‘Double-Portion’ that He has prepared for each of us.  Jesus was saying… the best is yet to come when he said that we will have a ‘more-abundant’ life and this is when we shall see Him.

Father by Your Unconditional love extended to us and by Your Son Jesus our Redeemer You have made known the mystery of Your will, and according to Your Divine Powers we have obtained an inheritance predestined by You as we trust in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior… Lord Jesus we praise You and to You is the Power and the Glory.

Coming to the Lord:

Come to the Lord while there is time, as He said now in the time of Salvation… Remember you cannot drive your car without insurance. Protecting your vehicle and yourself by insurance is mandatory, but there is a greater need to have the ultimate assurance… The Priceless Gift of the Grace and Salvation from Jesus our Redeemer is your ‘Umbrella-Assurance’ and Jesus said come unto me…

TOPIC:   We are not ‘forgotten’… God is only giving us the privilege of coming to Him, He loves us so He is allowing us to ‘know’ Him.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Focus:  Scoffers will say… for eons I have heard about the return of Jesus, where is he?   As we address this we will reflect on Jesus telling Phillip that he saw him under the fig-tree before he came to meet him. Just as when Jesus saw Phillip on that day, He is seeing us today as His Power and Glory remain the same… Jesus Christ the Same Yesterday, Today and Forever…

The above is an example of the patience of our Lord, and because of His Majestic-Glory He did not need to expose His

“Power” He expressed His ‘LOVE”.  But this same Christ who is God Incarnate will also be a God of a Consuming Fire on that day.  But in Christ we have His Covenant and in Him there is no condemnation those He has made Joint-Heirs.

Conclusion:

Let us face 2015 with optimism regardless of the challenges of this world, we must never worry as to ‘worry’ this is a lack of faith as Jesus said… Do not worry… Matthew 6: 31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus as we go through the trials and challenges of this world Lord, we look back 2014 years ago when Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem and had to settle for a stable where You were born my Lord. Lord Jesus we are humbled and humiliated to think that You our Lord had to be born in a stable. Lord if only the innkeeper knew that he was hosting a King and a Lord of lords, Lord we look up to You our Sovereign Eternal God, Your strength was covered by Your Humbleness and mankind has demonstrated our weakness by exalting ourselves while You the Most High allowed us to ultimately realized that we can do nothing and in all things we need You Lord. Lord we thank You for the many blessings and we come giving You our Praises. MORNING:          

TOPIC:  Why do we have challenges in our daily lives? Is there a force that likes to impede our progress?

Focus:  The closer you get to the Lord the hard the devil will try to interfere with your walk with God…

What is the goal in your life? Are you getting closer? Are you facing a moving goal-post?

Thoughts for the day:  In live it seem like we are trying to hit moving targets, Only Jesus never changes.

TEXT: John 1:12-13 New King James Version (NKJV)

12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Commentary:

Our Lord Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow… Today you can come to Him just like the blind or the leper who came to Jesus and asked to be healed.  Sometimes when we ask for healing, we do not get it, but He gives instead something far greater.  We spoke of Stephen who looked up and saw Jesus standing at the Right-Hand of the Father, and Jesus did not offer to save Stephen, but instead He was welcoming Stephen Home.

Acts 6:14-15 Good News Translation (GNT)

14 We heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will tear down the Temple and change all the customs which have come down to us from Moses!”15 All those sitting in the Council fixed their eyes on Stephen and saw that his face looked like the face of an angel.

Acts 7: The Stoning of Stephen

54 As the members of the Council listened to Stephen, they became furious and ground their teeth at him in anger. 55 But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw God's glory and Jesus standing at the right side of God. 

56 “Look!” he said. “I see heaven opened and the Son of Man standing at the right side of God!”

57 With a loud cry the Council members covered their ears with their hands. Then they all rushed at him at once, 58 threw him out of the city, and stoned him. The witnesses left their cloaks in the care of a young man named Saul. 

59 They kept on stoning Stephen as he called out to the Lord, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!”

The Bible said in the above text… Verse 15: 15 All those sitting in the Council fixed their eyes on Stephen and saw that his face looked like the face of an angel.  Acts 7: Verse 55 above also stated how Stephen …. 55 But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw God's glory and Jesus standing at the right side of God

 

So was Stephen an angel of the Lord?  The Bible also said… Hebrews 13 Good News Translation (GNT)

How to Please God

13 Keep on loving one another as Christians. Remember to welcome strangers in your homes. There were some who did that and welcomed angels without knowing itRemember those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them. Remember those who are suffering, as though you were suffering as they are.

The life of a Christians is to keep on loving one another, just as how Christ loves us (Unconditionally)  The story told by Jesus Himself of the ‘Good-Samaritan’  many religious leaders saw the beaten and robbed man lying on the sidewalk, some crossed over to the next side to avoid him, but the Samaritan stopped, and dressed the wounds of the man he then took him to the hotel and gave him a room and gave money to the clerk to cover the expenses, and even said if there were need for more cost he would pay on his return.  The religious leaders avoided the wounded man.  Notice the description of those who avoided the wounded man was ‘Religious’… So what was Jesus teaching, being religious did not mean you are a better person, as religion cannot make you a good person, nor can religion save you.  Only the Blood of Jesus can save you and me.

EVENING:

If you asked for healing and did not receive it, then what can be better?  Just like Stephen being stoned to death, Jesus saw him but He did not save Stephen’s life on earth, Jesus was ready to receive Stephen home.  2,014 years ago Christ was born on earth of a Virgin, 1,981 years ago this same Jesus ascended to Heaven… and He is coming again.  So what is His second coming going to be like?  First there will be an event that has never occurred before…

The sound of the ‘Trumpet’

30 And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. 31 And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

There will be the ‘gathering’ of His elect, as the Bible also said those in Christ will be caught up in the clouds… 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

How will this be? Because when you know Christ and as Jesus said…Born-Again, you are now accepted into His Kingdom…

Life in the Spirit

There is no condemnation now for those who live in union with Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit, which brings us life in union with Christ Jesus, has set me free from the law of sin and death. What the Law could not do, because human nature was weak, God did. He condemned sin in human nature by sending his own Son, who came with a nature like our sinful nature, to do away with sin.

Praise our Lord Jesus for His Unconditional love and by His Blood of Atonement we are saved by His Grace. Ephesians 2:8-9

MORNING:          

TOPIC:  Providence is defined as ‘God-conceived’ and the Providence of the Father is to provide our needs and He has done so…

TEXT: Romans 10:13

For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” In Context | Full Chapter 

Focus:  In the USA the Federal prison houses many infamous individuals that amassed great wealth at the expense of others.  It appears that most of these infamous people had one common characteristic, they loved material things, and they collected exotic cars, owned many luxury mansions, and travelled only by corporate jets. Yet there are honest folks that possess the same things in life.  Some of us may wonder do we on the other hand have challenges and where is God in meeting our daily needs.  First we must define our daily needs, it’s more than bread as Jesus said… Man shall not live by bread alone; Luke 4:4 But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’ In Context | Full Chapter 

Our topic for today is the ‘Providence’ of our Lord… as we enter a New Year is it with optimism or caution and a set of New Year’s Resolutions?  Let’s face it making your own set of rules will fall by the wayside in a few days, it is like the Ten-Commandments and as said…Romans 3:10 As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one; In Context | Full Chapter |

Therefore the ‘infamous-inmate’ that robbed his fellowmen to have his ill-begotten wealth is also included in what is said…There is none righteous and so are we.  But our little ‘infractions’ may not be compared to a criminal or a murderer but our ‘small-scale’ sins are still categorized as ‘Sin’.  So the Providence of our Lord goes far beyond meeting our daily needs of everyday living, but God in His Infinite Providence provided the Ultimate Gift of a ‘More-Abundant’ Life and this is freely given, but we have to claim-it, and it is only from the Atoning Blood of Jesus His Son.

Why is the Atoning Blood essential, because it is by His Blood that was shed at Calvary for our Sins, and as Jesus said “It-is Finished” then His new Covenant was revealed when Jesus became our High-Priest.  And His Blood is the Seal of Redemption.  The Power of Jesus Resurrection from death to Life also prepared for us a way through His Grace and by our acceptance of His Redemption as we are assured by His Faithfulness…

And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.

Will we be around for the judgment?  "It is appointed unto man to die once, and after that there is the judgment" then this Statement is saying our death is really not final.

We must be reminded that those in Christ will be spared from the ‘second-death’…

MORNING:          

TOPIC:  HAPPY NEW YEAR! Celebrate with JOY! Be ready for all of Jesus’ saying will materialize, and He offers goodness

TEXT: Matthew 6:33

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Focus:  Who are you thinking of as we enter 2015?  Let us focus of what Jesus said… Seek Him and His Righteousness ‘First’ and all things will be added unto to you.  We also would like to say that ‘All-things’ from the Lord are all ‘good’ things. So we wish everyone a Wonderful 2015 as we Praise our Lord Jesus for He is Worthy of our Praises.

Regardless of what we faced in 2014, the year has ended and what matters is ‘Right-Now’ not yesterday and not tomorrow, because what we think of right-now is what counts as our Lord knows our thoughts and in Christ all things are possible when we ask in His Name.

So the New year’s resolutions are not really ours to choose, as we are chosen and as followers of Christ, let Him lead and let us Stop-Look-Listen, and ASK in His Holy Name, because Jesus said… Mark 11:24 [Full Chapter]

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Jesus never conducted any idle-talk, so every word that proceeded out from our Lord and Savior is a God given factual statement. Therefore we can trust His saying because He is Faithful and he is the same yesterday, today and forever. 

Devotional:  

Lord Jesus today as we go forward into another year, Lord we go in faith knowing that You did send us Your Comforter… Your Holy Spirit, Lord let each of us gather and see the Goodness of Your Grace that the things of this world will grow dim in the Light of Your Glory and Grace. Lord the word of the song said that the things of this earth will go strangely dim as we look to You Lord, we affirm that the things of this world will go Divinely-dim as you Lord Jesus is not a stranger but our Lord and Savior as we walk in your Light.  Lord be with us all as we acknowledge You and give You preeminence in all things; and we thank you Lord for Your priceless gift of Your Redemption to a ‘more-abundant’ life in You Lord Jesus our Eternal God in One of the Father. Praises to You our Redeemer Jesus our Mediator and our Savior as we enter 2015 with Your blessings.

God’s Everlasting Love

31 What then shall we say to these things? The end of the Year is traditionally celebrated with the song…’ Auld Lang Syne’… meaning goodbye to the ‘good ole time’.  To many Auld Lang Syne is a good bye to 2014 and welcome to 2015 hoping for a better year. In Christ there is no better year, as right now we should do what is said in Philippians 4: Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!  Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;  and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

A good start with a strong ending is our wish for all our Visitors and in Christ we have Victory… Happy New Year!

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord as we end this year we acknowledge that 2014 years ago You came that man may have live and have it more abundantly… Lord Your gift of a more-abundant life reveals that the best is yet to come as we look to that day when we shall see You as we give You the Glory.  Lord Jesus be with our Visitors and grants us a New Year filled with Peace and Your Divine Providence.
