Devotionals for Friday July 31st, 2015

Morning:

               

Focus   :           God’s Divine Care… He promised it and He will give it because he is Faithful…

Sometimes we believe we want something to fill a void in our lives, and we may earnestly seek to get this and it may be more elusive than we think. We may even ask the question why Lord? But what we think we need the Lord may have something else in store for you.  You may say how I can fulfil my life’s mission if I do not fill this void, whatever the void is, the Lord needs you just as you are.

He is merciful, gracious, long suffering and abundant in goodness and truth

Thoughts for the day: Our Victory is secured at the cross.

TEXT: Psalm 86:15

But You, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, Slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness and truth.

Commentary: Our notion of what constitutes Victory must be guided by the will and the Word of God. Why? Because only what’s built by Him will last, without Christ all is for nothing… Our endeavor is as strong as the weakest link. So seek Him and His eternal Link; because Jesus is the strongest link to the Father...

Text: Genesis 1:29

And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.

Natural healing from great tasting fruits from our Lord.  The side effects of some pharmaceutical medicine can cause you more harm than good. Have you ever stopped to think why God placed man in a Garden with Fruit trees?  While Scriptures said all things provided by our Lord are edible, the emphasis was on Fruit. Even the cakes baked with Figs etc. were prized more than meat, but meat was part of the diet as planned by our Creator.

The ‘Practicing’ medical profession is driven by giant pharmaceutical companies that are driven by Wall Street.  The driving force of today’s medicine is to generate revenue and create stock value based on earnings. There are still a few meaningful institutions seeking to provide true therapy for a cure rather than financial gain. 

A Wellness Newsletter that I subscribe to said… Eating Blue Berries, Fish, Leafy Green-Vegetables, walking and no sugar and less red meat can reverse plaque buildup in your arteries. (Do not use this as a Medical advice); it is just a quote from a Wellness letter) and doing this may add years to your life.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

His Promise / His Faithfulness:  Proverbs 8:19

My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold, And my revenue than choice silver. (The Word of God)

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

 Joel 2:22 Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field; For the open pastures are springing up, And the tree bears its fruit; The fig tree and the vine yield their strength.

Ezekiel 47:12 Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.”

Conclusion: 'A little knowledge is a dangerous thing' and 'a little learning is a dangerous thing' have been used synonymously since the 18th century. The Holy Bible is the bestselling book of all times.  The authors are not Yale, Harvard, Princeton or Edinburgh scholars, therefore the Holy Bible is as we addressed it…’Holy’ and inspired by God.  Moses did not write the first books of the Bible, Moses was compiling the data and chronologically putting it together.

More and more of what affects our lives daily are being revealed from the Bible, as it said the leaves of the plant would be our medicine… Natural Herbs and science is now coming around to a Cancer treatment using Turmeric…Some proponents believe turmeric may prevent and slow the growth of a number of types of cancer, particularly tumors of the esophagus, mouth, intestines, stomach, breast, and skin.

John 15:5

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

John 15:16

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord today we acknowledge Your wonderful creation by Your Divine Design. Lord just like men in the early years tried to build a tower to heaven, man has used their knowledge to exploit our fellow humans. Lord as You said lay-up treasures in Heaven where it will never deteriorate as we honor You Lord with our possessions, and with the first fruits of all Your increase in our lives, Lord we are persuaded that neither death nor life, not angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, not things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from Your Love O God, in You Lord Jesus You are our Savior Jesus Messiah.  In Your name Lord Jesus we pray and to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday July 30th, 2015

Morning:

               

Focus   :      If you judge yourself, you would not want to be judged. But God judges us, He points out our faults and forgives us…

Rather than ‘judging’ yourself it is better to be disciplined not by punishment, but by training, gaining knowledge and graduating to a higher skill for a profession.

To be a Practitioner in a specific discipline in medical practice, this statement tells you that your medical doctor is still ‘practicing’.  So consider yourself to be a ‘Case’ study when you are a patient of your ‘practicing’ physician. The dictionary defined a patient as:

  1. To be a ‘Patient’ you have to able to accept or tolerate delays, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious.
  2. Be aware that "be patient, your time will come".
  3. You are a person receiving or registered to receive medical treatment.

On the other hand the apostle Paul gave us some good advice…

Suffering for Doing Good

Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. 10 For,

“Whoever would love life
    and see good days
must keep their tongue from evil
    and their lips from deceitful speech.
11 They must turn from evil and do good;
    they must seek peace and pursue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
    and his ears are attentive to their prayer, 
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

13 Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? 14 But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.” 15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. Conclusion:

Knowing that Jesus our Lord and Savior through His Resurrection ascended to The Father and through his Righteousness we are blessed as he intercedes for us.  What a privilege that we have our Redeemer Jesus Christ who said we are no longer servants but His friends.

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

Drinking a cup of coffee first thing in the morning blunts the energy-boosting effects of caffeine and may lead to increased tolerance of the stimulant. This counterintuitive fact is explained in engaging visual form by Ryoko Iwata.

Everybody is different, of course, but we are all guided by the 24-hour hormonal cycle referred to as the circadian clock. These basic rhythms are preprogrammed into us genetically and although we can mess with our cycles through lifestyle habits, the major factor in their regulation is sunlight. One of the things that this clock controls in humans is the release of the hormone called cortisol which makes us feel alert and awake.

Here’s the thing. The peak production of cortisol occurs between 8–9 am (under normal circumstances.) This means that at the time that many people are having their first cup of coffee on the way to work, their bodies are actually “naturally caffeinating” the most effectively! According to Iwata, the effects of caffeine consumption at times of peak cortisol levels actually diminishes the effectiveness of the additional stimulation. Worse still, “By consuming caffeine when it is not needed, your body will build a faster tolerance to it, and the buzz you get will greatly diminish.”

Use the time to start the day by keeping one of the most important appointment you have for the day… Come to the Lord and receive His Renewal as He makes all things new and today is a ‘brand-new’ day to receive His Divine Providence for the day.

The Blessings and the Providence of the Lord will outlast the Caffeine from the morning coffee.

: Do not tolerate hypocrisy…  The Lord will not allow this; He reprimands His servants and removes this faulty sin to bring the Gospel to the Gentiles.

Text:  Ephesians 2: 1-10 (NKJV)

By Grace Through Faith

2 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Commentary: You may have seen the little card that says… ‘God is my Co-Pilot’ does this mean that you are the pilot and God is a backup?  Also the many times one may have said, ‘God I have a plan and I want you to get behind it’; Guess what? Our plan is not His plan, and only His plan will work. And God is not a follower. Factually we should be the one doing the following.

Principle: Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds. Colossians 3: 9 NKJV.  In clarifying this… it is saying, now that we have been ‘enlightened’ and have casted off our old habits, let us be straight-forward and be trustworthy.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace… Ephesians 1: 7 NKJV

Action/Coming to our Lord:  Saul who was a persecutor of followers of Christ was a conscientious man that diligently did what he thought was his mission in life, our Lord sought this ‘Bull-Worker’ out and transformed him to be His ambassador. When Saul later known as Paul was struck down on his way to Damascus to arrest more followers of Christ, he was for three days in a state of ‘suspension’ blinded, not eating, but somehow he was transformed and in an instant after his eyes were opened he started to preach Christ crucified and became the apostle of our Lord to the Gentiles.

In Biblical history, many of whom we would consider to be ‘outsiders’ were most instrumental in carrying out the work of God.  Examples are; King Cyrus, the Persian king who rescued the Jews from Babylon, Abimelech the king of the Philistines who made peace with Isaac, Nicodemus a leader, a ruler of the Jews, Nicodemus came to Jesus and at Jesus’ burial provided a hundred pounds of Myrrh and Aloe.  The most astounding of all would be Paul that was standing by holding the clothes of the killers of Stephen, who became a Vessel of our Lord bearing the message of Christ Crucified.

EVENING:

Conclusion: What’s important to us in our daily lives? Is it our devotions, our daily ‘pursuit’ of happiness, or the challenge of making ‘ends meet’?  At Good News Forever we will not accept the response to our ‘How are you today’… with a response of ‘Same O – same O’ the only thing that remain the same is Sin, the Love of Christ is ‘fresh’ every moment of our lives.  For us believers it is not a same O; it is a constant growth in His Word, and standing on the promise that our Lord is forever faithful.

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Conclusion:

Jesus who was there from the beginning of it all… and He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Knowing this, we have a High Priest that intervenes for us and through His intercession we are presented to the Father.

So thank the Lord for His mercies and His Divine Redemption that we can say our Redeemer Lives and we know in Whom we believed.

Focus: Share His Blessings… bring your Joy to Praise Him, His blessings bring Joy and Joy is Eternal Happiness because of ‘Rejoice’… The message is ‘Glad-Tidings’ which is His Good News …

The ‘Fragrance’ of our Lord…

TEXT: 2 Corinthians 2:14-3:5 New King James Version (NKJV)

14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 16 To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? 17 For we are not, as so many, [a] peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.

Commentary: The love of God a hymn written in 1917...

The love of God is greater far

Than tongue or pen can ever tell;

It goes beyond the highest star,

And reaches to the lowest hell;

The guilty pair, bowed down with care,

God gave His Son to win;

His erring child He reconciled,

And pardoned from his sin.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

As we spread the Word of our Lord, His Fragrance will also surround us... If you had a choice of who to represent, assuming the choice was a Winner versus an unknown that could be a loser in the end, the obvious choice would be to go with the winner... The following words are what described our Lord Jesus when we choose HIM:

  • Victory
  • Triumph
  • Sovereignty
  • Joint-Heir
  • Providence
  • Goodness & Righteousness

Remember our Lord also gave us a Sound-Mind with Power. Now all these goodness is wrapped up in one tidy package which Jesus called... Faith.

EVENING:

Coming to The Lord:

And ONLY Through Jesus we can have a future life in a place of Splendor.

Neither Buddha nor Mohammed can give you that Assurance as our Divine Eternal God Came, Died, Rose and Ascended and sits on the Throne of Righteousness and HE is our Advocate.

We cannot worship nature, things that we see and the goodness of men, why? Because He (God) Created it all, and He is calling us to receive His Precious Priceless gift that all the gold cannot purchase.

We also need to know that Jesus is not just ‘His Son’… He is God in one as you read in:

John 1, Hebrews 1, and Colossians 1

Jesus is the Anointed Son, we were taught in Sunday’s school that Jesus is the Son of God, then even right now, for us that do not know our Lord, will say, how can God have a Son and He wasn’t married?  We must remember that we are finite in our thinking ability and our life span, and only God is Infinite, God knew our limited capability, so He spoke to us using Metaphor or narrated His message using simple analogy to convey the scope of His thinking to us whom He created.

We need to know that we cannot go to God unless through Jesus, why” because He is the Gatekeeper, and He is our Advocate (for those that know him). So if we do not know Him or turned away like the tribe of Judah when they were taken captive, they worshipped Idols, anything, person or whatsoever other that Jesus is consider above Jesus Christ, will be considered as idols.

Buddha and Mohammed were spiritual leaders but they did not have a Triumphant Resurrection, they are in man-made boxes. Just like the idols they had to be nailed down so they do not topple over. Worshippers of idol had to ‘carry’ their stone gods, Jesus carries us, and He is our Hero.

The Bible teaches that when we receive Him (Jesus Christ) we are saved and He will never … let us be lost;

Focus: “If only I could get my wish’… what is your ideal wish? What would you give up to get it? With God you won’t have to give.

TEXT:  The Parable of the Rich Fool: Luke 12: 13-34

13 Someone in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”

14 Jesus replied, “Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?” 15 Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”

16 And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. 17 He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’

18 “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. 19 And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’

20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

21 “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”

30 For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. 

31 But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.

32 “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. 

34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Important factor: Our Lord is not against you being rich, but all of what he has provided are to be used to honor our Lord, and He must receive the ‘First-Fruit’ He will not tolerate being offered the left-over. 

Conclusion:

Morning:

               

Focus:     Change your course from where the world is headed, don’t be a sheep and follow the leader over the cliff, seek the Lord.

A bellwether is a sheep that wears a bell around its neck and is the leader of the flock. So look around and stop following the sheep wearing the bell,

A Bellwether state is a Political ‘Swing’ State.  And a Swing State can determine the outcome of the Presidential Election in most instances.

TEXT:  Isaiah 53:5-6 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

But He was pierced through for our transgressions, 
He was crushed for our iniquities; 
The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, 
And by His scourging we are healed.

All of us like sheep have gone astray, 
Each of us has turned to his own way; 
But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all
To fall on Him.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Colossians 2:9-10 (NASB) 9 For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, 10 and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;

God’s Plan was fulfilled by the Crucifixion and Devine Resurrections of Jesus… This was God’s Plan for whom?  Was it to give Jesus the Glory? Yes and to Redeem us for the ‘Second-Passover’ this is the Day of the Lord. The Blood of Jesus was shed for out Redemption, just like the Blood of the Lamb to mark the door-post of the Israelites in Egypt, The Blood of Jesus is our ‘Seal’ of His Redemption by His Grace.

God gave us the freedom of choice, but are we mature enough and strong enough to resist the temptations and make the right choices?

Text:  Matthew 26: 41 Watch and Pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing (To resist the temptation) but the flesh is weak.

Consider that our Creator created man and woman and gave us dominion over all living things. Consider the enormity of Plant Life, Animals, and all species of Aquatic life, Birds and even to the smallest ant. And as we speak about Ants, this specie that builds their little kingdom with the hierarchy of a Queen and an army of workers. The same applies to the Bees that form colonies and is governed by a form of hierarchy, The Bees also has ‘Drone’ these are the male Bees that mate with new Queen. They serve one single purpose of carrying on the specie.  Bees die after they string, and the Male Drone dies immediately after they mate with the new Queen, they mate in the air and right after consummation, they fall to the ground.  Not only do they die after consummating, after they have performed their duties, they are kicked out of the hive and not allowed back in.

EVENING:

Coming to our Lord:

Look at how God loves us, He gave us dominion over all living things, He gave us freedom, but we squandered the Paradise that he made for us, so as Adam & Eve were ‘evicted from Eden’ we are here today having to be employed or to employ and generate an income to meet our needs. 

A well-known quote from an anonymous writer said… We do not choose to be born. We do not choose our parents. We do not choose our historical epoch, the country of our birth, or the immediate circumstances of our upbringing. We do not, most of us, choose to die; nor do we choose the time and conditions of our death. But within this realm of choicelessness, we do choose how we live. – Unknown.

Action:

God said we should also choose how we live…

Conclusion: We have been saying the Bible is all about Jesus, from day one to the end, Why? No one has ever seen God, Abraham and Jacob said they saw God, God is represented by His Son Yeshua-Jesus, so wherever there is a reference to God being present, this is a reference to Jesus.  The Father (God) sent His Son Jesus, who became God Incarnate and the scriptures state that Jesus is Supreme, and all things were made by Him (Jesus) and with Jesus there was nothing made, and He Jesus holds all things together. This same Jesus who came and died for us, and Redeemed us by his Blood,  we spoke about the Blood of the Passover, and Jesus came as our Passover Lamb to save us from eternal damnation, why, because we were created in His likeness and He will never die, and so will we. But it is appointed unto man once to die and after this the judgment. Therefore, if we will be around for the judgment then we really never died. Our physical bodies will die but our Soul lives on, and on that day we will have celestial bodies like our Lord.  Jesus said He was not of this world and where He is all those in Him will be with Him where He is.

Focus: Sow for an abundant crop to share with others… Ask for showers of blessings we all need it, especially in California

News item… Amid California’s historic drought, an even rarer weekend downpour that calmed wildfires also washed away a 30-foot bridge that carries commuters to Arizona.

An elevated area on Interstate 10 collapsed early Sunday evening near Southeastern California’s Desert Center, leaving a pickup truck trapped underneath. Firefighters launched a cut and rescue operation and the driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries, authorities told the Associated Press. California Highway Patrol have since stopped eastbound traffic near Joshua Tree National Park, a roadway from Palm Springs to the Arizona border.

Drivers were stranded for miles, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

California is considered a bellwether state… bellwether definition, meaning, what is bellwether: something that shows what the general future of changes or developments will probably be:

Coming to our Lord:

The Word of our Lord Jesus we accept as His great assurance and His affirmation of being the ‘Good-Shepherd’

Why do we need a Shepherd? Because we are all Sheep; Sheep have a strong instinct to follow the sheep in front of them. When one sheep decides to go somewhere, the rest of the flock usually follows, even if it is not a good "decision." For example, sheep will follow each other to slaughter. If one sheep jumps over a cliff, the others are likely to follow. Even from birth, lambs are conditioned to follow the older members of the flock. This instinct is "hard-wired" into sheep. It's not something they "think" about.

Conclusion: Jesus our Good-Shepherd came to Redeem us, and His mission was to lead us to His Fold, His Kingdom.  Through the Divine Grace of God Jesus took our sins and became ‘The Lamb of God’ thereby transforming us into a ‘New-Creation’.

We who have been ‘Born-Again’ are no longer sheep, but are now ‘Children of the Living God’ through Jesus our Redeemer.

Focus: Who can you help today? The gift of Prayer is more valuable than money, the wealth of our Lord is greater than ours…

There are many ways we can help others, it can be financial, moral support, physically lending a hand and bringing their needs to the Lord in Prayers.

The key to ‘helping’ someone is to render your kindness with good intentions, it is to be done with compassion, most charitable organization solicit money by preying on your sympathy.  And many give because of a sympathetic cause.

So the next time you have the privilege of rendering help do it with compassion, do in secret and seek no rewards.

What you do in secret will be rewarded openly by the Lord

So that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Commentary:  The bird have no pantry, no house, no asset of any kind, but they are the happiest creatures on earth, the cattle have no means of getting their own fodder, only grazing the fields and looking for water, yet they do not rebel. Man in our finite thinking is impatient with God, we demand everything and then gives Him our left over.

The precept of our Lord was laid out for us in the simplest form, Just Accepts His Righteousness and acknowledge that he is God.  What is written was not for an oxford scholar to decipher, not does it take a rocket scientist to understand… Seek Him first and His Righteousness.

Let’s remind ourselves… no one can go back and make a brand-new start, but anyone can start from now, and make a brand new ending. It is not the start that counts it is the finishing… finish well by choosing Christ.

There is no ‘middle’ of the road with Christ, you are either a believer, a fence-sitter or a non-believer.  So to be a fence-sitter or a non-believer your life is without the Grace of God.  His Grace is extended but you must accept it and receive His Priceless Gift of Salvation.

The closer you get to God, the harder the devil works, why?  The tempter sees a prize of value; so put on the Armor of God, so grow in His Word, come to Christ and walk with him, keep in touch just like how you do with your Facebook® or texting.

Boasting About Tomorrow

Focus: What is your credit score? The Fair-Isaac method ‘FICO’ is used get credit, there is a better way to get ‘Instant’ Credit’ try it…  What do you wish to qualify for, a new house, a new car, the ideal score would be around 750 to get you ‘sort of’ qualified, why ‘sort-of? Because you may have a good score at current but they do not overlook the past. This is typical and man does not ‘sympathize’ with you, in fact they penalize those with blemished credit by charging them higher interest.

In man’s world the house for $250,000 will cost you on a 30-year mortgage at 8 interest, that loan would cost you $328,310 in interest -- meaning that the total cost of your $250,000 home would be $578,310. Hey, you're living in a half-million-dollar house! (Not really.)

In the Heavenly realms you have ‘Instant-Credit’ you are Pre-approved by the Lord, and the ‘Mansion’ that he has prepared for you will be fully deeded, no mortgage no credit application, not only did He prepare a place for you He made you joint Heir to the Kingdom.

Topic: The statement of Jesus had a ‘Caveat’ and this is a major detail that many overlook…  Jesus said I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Notice Jesus said ‘And ‘If’ I go and prepare a place for ‘You’ this is the important factor of His Statement, He meant ‘If’ He went on your behalf He would prepare a place for you. Jesus was saying He was going but not for everyone.  So who was He going for? Those that knew Him and those that Jesus said ‘Born-Again’, just as told by Jesus to Nicodemus.

John 3: Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

Conclusion: Today as we go about our business, to work, school or even if we are staying home, just consider the scene of the Crucifixion where our Lord was beaten, even forced to carry the cross that he would be nailed to.  On the other hand, just consider that Jesus could have called ten thousand angels to His rescue. Why didn’t He? Because His sole reason for coming to earth was to shed His Blood of Atonement for you and I. 

He loved us so much that he died for us, but death had no hold on our Messiah, Jesus who is the great “I AM” was there at the beginning of it all, in John 1:  The Word became Flesh….

Morning:

               

Focus:     Only through Christ we are able to come to the Father, so remember Jesus is always in the Prayers give Jesus the Glory.

JESUS OUR MEDIATOR…

He is not the Third Party By-Stander, He is in the midst of your conversation with the Father…

So ending your prayers by abruptly saying… In Jesus name we pray, is like ignoring the presence of Jesus as he is the one that presents us to the father, why, Father God will not tolerate Sinners, and we are all known by this common name; ‘Sinner’

Jesus is always present, He is not absent, so ending our prayers with the sudden reference in Jesus’ name we pray, it is an insult, because He is the one you obviously were in a dialogue, as He said you can only come to the Father through Him. Therefore to reach the Father you must be talking with Jesus, who ‘presents’ you to the Father by saying… Father I present (insert your name) who by My righteousness he is made holy enough to be presented to You my Father…

Every Time… Jesus is there, so ending the prayers by saying… to You my Jesus is the power and the glory and in Your Holy name I dedicate this prayer to the Father by Your Graciousness and in the Holy Trinity… Amen.

Commentary: When God said “Let ‘Us’ make man in ‘Our’ image, according to ‘Our’ likeness…notice God referred to ‘Us’ therefore God was not alone. We must reflect on the first day of God’s creation… 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was[a] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.

EVENING:

Coming to our Lord:

So God was in the company of His SON that came as the Light of the World… The sun was not yet placed in the heavens. Therefore Yeshua/Jesus His Son came on the first day.

The key factor that relates to us humans is, we are created in the image and likeness of God. He gave us wisdom and knowledge, as we see Adam was given the privilege of naming the cattle, the birds and every beast of the field.

Topic: The above verse is the triumph over Babylon… So we read that Heaven exults over the fall of the final Babylon.

Where is the new Babylon? Throughout the ages Babylon has been known as a place or a city devoted to materialism and sensual pleasure.

The ‘New-Babylon’ … it is the World which is subject to the constant battle in our daily lives.  Remember we the inhabitants are the make-up of the world.

You may be related but you do not have contact with your distant uncle, but in Fellowship you are in touch

Think on this: To know of a person and you are not known to him, it is a just an infatuation. A make belief relationship

Listening and Doing

19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20. Because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

Commentary: Relationship is different from infatuation, and admiration versus love can only be real when you are known by your admirer with a mutual relationship. 

Let’s say you received news that your rich uncle left you an estate and you are to claim it, and the condition of claiming ownership is to relate one instance in your life when you made contact with him or even told someone else of your rich uncle and his life of helping others.   Too bad… you cannot recall a time when you did any of these that would allow you in meeting the condition of gaining ownership. 

The Love of God is in some ways similar, but God’s love offered an unconditional love while we are still onboard the Titanic He gave us a Life-line…  So today we want to alert everyone to stop re-arranging the deck chairs, and follow the instructions pointing to the lifeboats.

Coming to the Lord:

Commentary:

Life’s uncertainties are all around us. Again one will ask isn’t this website supposed to be a bearer of Good News?  Yes we are bringing you Good News today.  The Good News is that we are endowed with:

•              We are created in His Likeness

•              Christ died for our Sins

•              He Rose Triumphantly

•              He Ascended into Heaven

•              He Sits on the Throne of Righteousness

•              He is willing to forgive us of our sins

•              If you come to Him and ask for forgiveness, He will give it

•              Jesus Christ is our Mediator and our Sovereign God

•              When we are saved, we receive an Eternal life of Joy in Him

•              He is coming again

•              All those that are still here will be caught up in the air to Him

•              His Kingdom will be fully Sanctified and Sinless

•              We will be reunited with our loved ones

EVENING: Action / Coming to our Lord:

A Church is not a building; it is made up of Believers in Christ, and In Christ alone. The Building is where Christians gather to Worship. As we read in Ephesians 2: 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

Our bodies are living Temples of our Lord…. 2 Corinthians 6:16

Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus our Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity; today as we proceed in Faith knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness interceding for us, we are privileged to be blest by You Lord.  Lord we thank You for our Visitors, and meeting our needs and let us receive an abundance that we can share Your favors with others Lord as we give You the Glory, knowing that all good things are from You Lord Jesus. Focus: Jesus said…”I am not of this world’, then where is He? He is Omniscient, He is the image of the invisible God, and He Lives.

If life was a bed of roses here then we would not need that place of splendor what Jesus referred to as 'Paradise' 

TEXT: Psalm 23: 1-2  

The Lord is my shepherd; 
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures; 
He leads me beside the still waters.

Focus:  Yes… God did place our fore parents in a Rose-Garden a place called Eden. Can we imagine the beauty of such a setting?  The Bible does not give us a complete picture of Eden, but this was a place of Green-Pastures and Still Water as the 23rd Psalm said…  God’s definition of Green Pastures would be a place of total tranquility.  Today we have ‘noise-pollution’ on a global scale, finding a place undisturbed by man will take some searching to hear the quietness of God’s creation. 

Mankind has created noise-pollution and one in particular that we bring to the forefront is; HAARP (High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) is a high-powered radio transmission. There are many conspiracy theories that this is a form of weather control, etc.  The beaching of Dolphins, Wales and the loss of Homing-Pigeons in high numbers are all affected by one or more of human interference on mammals and even insects.  So we see mankind is still building a newer version of the Tower of Babel.

 When God said to Moses… Exodus 3:5

Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground”.

Nothing we have today, even the most advanced mode of communication, the Internet, super-computers and even advance weapon systems classified under ‘Black-Projects’ can compare to the Holy Spirit.  Jesus did not conceal His promise, and He delivered as on the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit descended.

Yes… we are blessed and are provided God’s Comforter His Holy Spirit.  So when Jesus said…If we have faith

Matthew 17:20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. In Context | Full Chapter

Lord we Praise You for Your Loving-Kindness and above all Your Divine Redemption.  Lord as we stand in Awe of the Majesty of Your Creation and what mankind has done to deface Your majestic creation, yet Your patience abounds as You Lord is slow to anger and Lord let the Good News that we present bring Your message to many for Your Glory\...as we affirm in Your Holy Name… (Psalm 23)

The Bible says the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and God the Father created all things by Jesus Christ. "For by him"--that is, by Jesus Christ--"all things were created" (Colossians 1:16).

Principle:  Humbleness and Meekness shall triumph over pride and the boastful ones will be debased.  Pride debases those that boast and put their trust in money and earthly things….

Morning:

               

Focus:    Who is Jesus? He is the ‘Great I am’ and He is God Emanuel… No one ever did what He did for us all.  He is the Redeemer.

He is my Redeemer and He is the Great “I AM”

His return will be His 3rd Visit.  He was here before when it all began… God said “Let there be Light” and there was Light and this Light was Jesus. Jesus/Yeshua came before the Sun was installed on the 4th day.

His 2nd Visit was when He came as God-Emanuel, He fulfilled His Mission of Redeeming us by His Sacrifice.

He gave us His irreversible and irrevocable Gift.

His third and final visit will be on that day known as the ‘Day of The Lord’

Let us all look to that glorious day when the trumpet will sound, and His coming will be seen from the East to the West.

No, our Lord is not ‘too busy’ to return as some say where is He and I have been hearing of Christ’s coming and when will this be?  Our Lord is Gracious and He wants all to be saved, and His time is not ours, so just Trust Him and remain in Faith knowing that he said He will never leave you nor forsake you.  Praise Him come to Him and know that our Lord Jesus is always there for you.

Morning:

               

Focus: Are you practicing ‘Self-made religion’? (Col 2: 20)… beware of legalism, cling to Faith and Grace, Christ did not die in vain… Self-righteousness is useless, because there’s nothing we can do to be ‘righteous’ if this was so, then Christ died in vain, and we make Him to be liar.

Remember our Lord knows us by name, while this is so, we may say that we all have a ‘common-name’ and this name is ‘Sinner’. You may say why I am a sinner, I do not steal, I do not curse, I attend church, and yet you are a sinner, why? Because we are all born with that blemished called sin. 

Sin entered the world through one man, and death was passed unto ALL... But God loves us so much He sent His only Son Jesus to die for our sins. John 3:16-17 King James Version (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Topic: The old saying… God moves in a mysterious way… To man it is mysterious, but to God it is a ‘Divine’ way.  Many instances in life when someone suffers a tragedy one would ask, where was God? When Stephen was stoned to death, why did God not save him? Stephen looked up and saw Jesus with open arms welcoming him home.  Now, would it be better for Stephen to be protected from the rocks and remained alive?  Or was it better for our Lord to receive him home and give him a place of splendor.  I can imagine, that our Lord was saying… look at those fools, they are fighting and killing each other for what? To gain what? To dominate their fellow men for what? This is why Jesus said… “Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing” This is like watching the football game seeing your team being out-scored, but you are smiling because you already know the ending that your team won.

Talking about what is the best thing we can hope for? Did you know that many Lotto winners that won millions reverted back to poverty? In fact there is a person than won $5.2 Million and now lives in a trailer and on welfare.  What does this tell us?  Unless the Lord builds it, it will not last.

EVENING: Action/Coming to our Lord:

Paul the Apostle that Jesus chose to be His vessel, said…

Romans 7:24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?

In our daily lives, we are bombarded by the world’s distraction via, Print, electronic (TV-Internet) radio, etc. the apostle Paul in the text above was merely saying “I am a man, and I am susceptible to the temptations”.  To be tempted is not a sin, but to partake in the temptation and enter into an act of complicity is a sin.  The constant battle with the forces of temptation is not regulated to our bodies, it is our mind, so be mindful of our imaginations that we are not led astray.  In a recent piece written by Leroy Elms, he stated that his friend that contracted Polio and while he was wasting away in an Iron-Lung machine weighing less than 70 lbs., he asked him what bothered him the most, and the reply was the ‘Lustful’ thinking that went on in his mind constantly.   

Our Lord Jesus who was tempted by the devil never partook of the temptation, He overcame the wiles of the devil with the Word of God…  So there is a way for us to deal with this universal problem which is:

Conclusion:

We again reflect on the apostle Paul while being taken to Rome, their ship was wrecked on the island of Malta, and the event of the snake that fastened to his hand was an event that got the attention of the natives.  Here we see how our Lord not only made Paul His vessel, but He made him a prominent leader to bring the Gospel to the gentiles.

Focus: The mercies of the Lord is beyond comprehension… it transcends our ability to think that He could love us so much…

The Lord loves us so much that He came to redeem us… why did we have to be redeemed? Because we are all sinners…

Commentary

Why did He come to Redeem us?

Theme:  By one man Sin entered the world, our Creator was not surprised by Adam & Eve of their falling for the serpent’s temptation. 

Genesis 2: 15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

This is the reason why He came to Redeem us… Because He said “you will certainly die”, He decreed this…  All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation." –

II Corinthians 5:18-19

Principle:

We who are believers need to do our part as the commission of our Lord was to proclaim His message of; Good News that He Rose Triumphantly and HE is alive on the Throne of Righteousness and He is waiting to receive those that come to Him for His Redemption.

There’s so much to tell, as we recite the key things we all need to know:

  1. God Created the Heaven and the Earth
  2. God Created us in His Likeness
  3. Because we are Created in the Likeness of God, we too shall live forever.
  4. Jesus is the Son of God and He is Supreme and was there from the beginning of it all
  5. Because we are descendants of Adam, we are all born into Sin.
  6. The Good News is: God Sent His Son Jesus to Redeem us
  7. Jesus Paid It All by His Blood of Atonement.
  8. The Grace of our Lord is extended to us all, and right now is the time of Acceptance
  9. If we Accept our Lord Jesus and repent of our Sin, He will Redeem us by His Blood as a Seal and as a Down/Payment for our Redemption that we will be with our Lord in a Place of Splendor forever.
  10. We also need to let it be known; that while our Lord is a Lord of Love, A Gracious Redeemer and a Patient God, He is also a God of Consuming Fire…
  11. Our Lord said that when we are saved by His Grace we will never be lost, but we must know Him and have a close walk with our Lord; as He will meet all our needs and He will never leave us nor forsake us.

When God spoke of ‘Death’ He did not mean the ‘physical death’ of our  bodies, God was speaking about the Spiritual death of our souls. We need to realize that humans are a ‘serious’ creation, made in the likeness of God.  He trusted us so much that He gave us the ability to have ‘Free-Will’. But we chose the things of this world over what He said.  What did God say? Because no one has ever seen God, so He sent Jesus born of a Virgin to be a man. Jesus came so that we humans could know Him and learn of His Divine Salvation that He would die and three days later rise from death, but yet as ‘God among us’.

We too shall rise though Jesus who redeemed us by His Blood, rising to a place of splendor and by His redemption we shall be spared the death that God spoke about…when He said “you shall surely die” So the saying… Being Born-Again, Saved, Redeemed are all relevant and is a Gift that God gave us through Jesus Christ who paid it all.  There are also the stages of Transformation and Sanctification that are not ‘earned’ but are made possible only through our Faith and hving a relationship with Christ. 

He made in His image so that you could worship, honor, relate to, and delight in Him.  God has authority over your life, and you are responsible to reflect God.

His Promise:

His Faithfulness:

Morning:

               

Focus: Salt was once sold at the price of Gold, now salt is about $2.50 per pound… Can Gold season your food?

Text: Matthew 5: 12-16 AMP

12 Be glad and supremely joyful, for your reward in heaven is great (strong and intense), for in this same way people persecuted the prophets who were before you. [II Chron. 36:16.]

13 You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.

14 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

 15 Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.

His Faithfulness: The Good News for today is:

  “The battle is not yours, but God’s. … Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed.   2 Chronicles 20:15, 17.”

“Do not be terrified. … The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you” (Deuteronomy 1:29-31).

“All this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47).

EVENING:

“If God is for us, who can be against us? … In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” (Romans 8:31, 37).

Just as Paul prayed for the Ephesians...  this prayer is applicable to us all today... Ephesians 3: 14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.  20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Topic: Your Dollar is worth how much?  Maybe we should not answer this question and just keep it in circulation. But your ‘rainy-day funds’ are worth almost a penny for every dollar that you have, this is based on the FCIC reserve ratio of .8%.

  1. Commentary:  Officials say that iconic gold and black F.D.I.C. sticker on your banks' ATM guarantees the safety of your deposits.

    -- Then why did a July 2014 show that the F.D.I.C. Deposit Insurance Fund, which protects insured deposits from loss when a bank fails, has a reserve ratio of .8%? Meaning, the F.D.I.C. currently backs every $1 million dollar of deposits with only $8,000 of reserves.

  1. BITCOIN the ‘Virtual’ Money could be the ‘Emperor’s shade of Green’   The governing factor here is ‘VIRTUAL’. Would you drive your car across a bridge that spans a Ravine with a drop of 300 fee feet when the warning said…’proceed at your own risk, this bridge is ‘Virtually-safe’.  Virtual is defined in the dictionary as:

His Promise:

His Faithfulness:

Galatians 2:16-21 (NIV)

16 know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.

17 “But if, in seeking to be justified in Christ, we Jews find ourselves also among the sinners, doesn’t that mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely not! 18 If I rebuild what I destroyed, then I really would be a lawbreaker.

19 “For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”

The above verses are what Paul wrote to the Galatians, and Paul were being specific, that the ‘LAW’ could not justify anyone, and on in Jesus can anyone be ‘Justified’ (Saved) and not by the work of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.  Many of the Galatians were Jews, and Paul was telling that if righteousness could be gained through the law, then Christ died in vain.

Conclusion:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

You are Complete in Christ” as Jesus Loves You and Paid It All for You to come and know Him, and by knowing Jesus as Lord of lords, all Things are Possible… because in God’s eyes you are ‘Complete in Christ’ even as you are; but God wants to make you “PERFECT” in Him, and You can be perfect this moment by coming to our Savior, and in Faith Pray…Lord Jesus Christ, I accept in faith that You came and died for my sins and by Your Blood of Atonement offered for me, my Lord I accept You and by Your Grace I am saved knowing that it is only by Your Blood that my sins are washed away, and by Your Grace extended to me that I can look to You my Savior knowing that one day I shall see You and be brought into Your Kingdom where there shall be no more sin no more pain and be filled with the Joy of Your Holy presence my Lord and Savior.  I commit my life and my soul to You my Lord Jesus and expect to spend eternity with You my Lord, I accept Your divine saving Grace now and pray this in Your Holy name Lord Jesus, Amen. If you prayed this prayer His Holy Spirit will find you and growing in Christ is a daily walk with Jesus…

Focus: Where’s God’s Kingdom? It is in a place that one might least expect, let it be known to others where His Kingdom is today.

21 No one will say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’; because the Kingdom of God is within you.”

Topic: Can anyone guess that the Kingdom of God is in you? Who said this? Jesus Himself said these words…

As brothers and sisters it is sometimes difficult for us to even think this to be possible.  Even Paul in his own struggles with sin…  Romans 7  18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. 19 For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. 20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.

13 Has then what is good become death to me? Certainly not! Focus:       From prosperity to Adversity to Humility yet keeping the faith to be guided by God’s Divine Care to Victory knowing that our Redeemer Lives…

Being aware that I am a sinner is not enough; I cannot be a good person by works to inherit what The Lord has provided at the end of our life’s journey?

Text:  John 16:28

I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

Commentary: Preface: Can we receive a Pardon for committing a crime?  Yes and No, but we can get a ‘suspended’ sentence.  Being found guilty for a crime, that you haven’t confessed to it; but found guilty under the law and not admitting this by oneself, the ‘crime’ is still contained in your mind with the capacity of repeating this  is always there,  because you felt that you haven’t done any wrong.

  1. To be ‘Pardoned’ one must admit guilt with remorse, or being pardoned because you did not commit the crime in the first place. Now if one is ‘falsely’ accused and convicted then they deserve to be granted a pardon. But the guilty person that really committed the offence is really not pardoned in a court of law, his sentence is commuted or set-aside, but in the eyes of the law he is still an offender.

  1. In Christ we have a ‘Full-Pardon’ not a set-aside’ of our offences, because Jesus said, our Sins are forgiven and are far removed like the East is from the West meaning, it is ‘Forgotten’ why should we forget our sin? Because Jesus forgets them after we come to Him.

  1. The devil wants us to remember them and imprints in our mind the temptation that lurks in the background, in the ‘Background’ we should only retain the knowledge that “I am now a Child of God’ and I am now ‘Elevated’ above the things that give temporary fulfillment, as I now have the everlasting JOY in Jesus my Redeemer, because He prepared the ultimate place that I am on my journey at this very moment….knowing that He is the Author and Finisher of my Faith, and that I shall see Him as he is; as Jesus who was before Abraham is still the same yesterday, today as He has prepared a place for me… Apply this in your life and have Victory in Jesus our Risen Lord who Reigns Supreme and He is Eternal and He is Faithful.

  1. The Bible is full of Jesus’ promise of His love for use, and beyond His love He gave His life for us and by His Resurrection He conquered death so that though His Blood we are cleansed and are now Sanctified by His Grace, and His Grace will keep us till that day when we shall be Transformed in a place of Splendor where sin do not exist because of His Holy Presence, and His Radiance will spread the Joy of His Holiness.

Ephesians 3:9

And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery is, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: Ephesians 3:8-10 (in Context) Ephesians 3 (Whole Chapter)

  1. Principle:  He our Lord Jesus was there at the beginning of it all, and He will be at the great gathering as he is ready to Host those that know Him and accepted His Grace.
  2. Jesus is no ‘New Kid’ on the block, many talk of the second-coming of Christ… we wish to say it’s His third coming. Why? As you will read He said “Again” …John 16:28
  3. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

  1. Conclusion:

Many with all the ‘Creature-comfort’ the luxury cars, the Mac-mansion, a great job, a summer home and a beach condo, etc., will be asking how do I give us these worldly things that I have? I can drive up to the country club this weekend and play a round of golf, then sit by the pool, etc. What can God give me that compares with these luxuries?  Guess what, all of the luxuries, club benefits, the Rolls, the helicopter and the Lear Jet will be left behind, while the person that are asking this question, he should be reserving a place beyond these temporary lifestyle, but for sure he has a place in a box that will be driven in a well-known brand of vehicle used to transport people to their final resting place.  But this resting place is only for the earthly tent (the body) the problem with this ending it is not an ending, as the rich usually says, “You win when you end up with all the toys”. Yes they are just toys, and the reality of death is; that there is really no ‘death’ as we are made in the Likeness of God, so that we will never die, only our physically body dies, our person (The Soul) lives on in another dimension that is chosen by us while we are still alive. What are these dimensions? Jesus said “I am not of this world……. Place ‘A’ = Heaven and Place ‘B’ = Hell

But he continued, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

Morning

Focus:         God gave us a place of Splendor, like the dogs they buried the bone to let it rot then eats it, we also did to get a rotten world.

A DOG, to whom the butcher had thrown a bone, was hurrying home with his prize as fast as he could go. As he crossed a narrow footbridge, he happened to look down and saw himself reflected in the quiet water as if in a mirror. But the greedy Dog thought he saw a real Dog carrying a bone much bigger than his own. If he had stopped to think he would have known better. But instead of thinking, he dropped his bone and sprang at the Dog in the river, only to find himself swimming for dear life to reach the shore. At last he managed to scramble out, and as he stood sadly thinking about the good bone he had lost, he realized what a stupid Dog he had been.  It is very foolish to be greedy.

Many times the greed of men not just hurt themselves, but they hurt many others.  The ‘Providence’ of our Lord is an ‘invisible’ factor… but it is as real as they say… death & taxes. So think of our Lord’s revelation of His ‘Secret to life’;   in Matthew 6: 33 Jesus revealed how we may have an abundant life…

33 But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.

Through Him also we have [our] access (entrance, introduction) by faith into this grace (state of God’s favor) in which we [firmly and safely] stand. And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God.

What is inside this Gift?

An everlasting Gift of HIS GRACE:” Ephesians 2:8

Verse 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— Verse 9: not by works, so that no one can boast.

What do we have here on earth? Life is a Sojourn through this world, all of what we purchase are classified as non-durable and durable goods… but even the durable goods that manmade; such as a Car, a TV, a Refrigerator they all wear out, nothing that we have is durable, GOLD is, but it was not made by man, Iron and other metal are forged by man, but they all breakdown, just like us, We get older and we suddenly find that we are mere mortals. So, what we own cannot last, only one thing can last forever, The Love of Christ… and He gave us this Love and Redeemed us so that we can last forever in His Holy Presence, filled with the Splendor and Joy. Share this with your neighbor, your loved ones.  You now have the Ultimate Cure, so do not withhold it.  Spread the Good News…

Due Diligence: Steps of Faith = Making the decision = Gaining Assurance in Jesus…

Text: 1 Corinthians 6:20

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Commentary:  Due Diligence is a process that Investors, Bankers and financial analysts do before closing a purchase or lending money against property. In our personal lives this procedure is often done on a cursory basis, meaning we buy merchandise based on appearance or we shop trusting a certain brand name. Therefore, what is known as ‘Brand-Equity’ gives the consumers a certain level of confidence in quality assurance of the product.

As we start this week let’s give thanks for another week of opportunities. Just think that we can use this week to be a blessing to others.  His plan for us is already laid, all we have to do is in Faith Trust Him.   No Due Diligence needed here, because His Grace is given to us. Remember Grace is ‘Undeserved’ and it is by His Grace that we can have what Jesus offered…A Life and more abundantly endowed by our Lord. We are His, as He purchased us at a price, and He lives in us.

So let us do our due-diligence in charting our future. In Christ He is our Sovereign God in One of the Holy Trinity, we can trust Him, He is the incomparable Lord, and Jesus is our Redeemer.

  • There is one Mediator between man and God, and He is Christ Jesus
  • Jesus is Sovereign & Eternal
  • Our Lord Jesus was there from the beginning of it all
  • Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.
  • We are made Joint-Heirs in Jesus to His Kingdom
  • We are saved by Grace and not of anything we do
  • His Blood of Atonement is the Seal of His Redemption
  • He went to prepare a place for us, and;
  • Jesus said He will return and those in Christ will be with Him forever

Rejoice with Joy today knowing that the future is bright, because He Jesus is the Bright Morning Star, He is the Beginning and the End, and His ending is the beginning of what we refer to as; ‘The Best is yet to come’

Principle: Our Redeemer lives…  Rejoice for He chose us.  Have Victory in Christ Jesus He is Faithful forever.

Come to the Lord… We read below Jesus’ prayer to His Father and Jesus is affirming His presence before the world began…  In Jesus we have the same privilege of coming to our Father through Jesus.

Reading the above text let us give thanks to our Lord for His Blood of Atonement that was shed for us.  Thanks be to God that the Resurrection of Jesus conquered death. (Death being the eternal separation from God in a place of eternal suffering), but through His Blood, we are saved and those in Christ will be in a place of splendor. Because His Word said, There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.

Focus:  Happy Birthday America! It’s Independence Day…

We will reflect on the last stanza of the National Anthem…

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand

Between their loved home and the war’s desolation!

Blest with victory and peace, may the heav’n rescued land

Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.

Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,

And this be our motto: “In God is our trust.”

And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave

O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

The theme of the above is ‘Freemen are blest with victory and peace, and rescued by God, so we praise the Power that has made and preserved us a nation, as we continue by the cause of justice as we claim…”In God is our trust”

Independence Day 2015 is celebrated today but we pause to observe the challenges of our Christian Brothers, Sisters and their families around the world. 

Soon there will be a true-independence day… the Day of The Lord…

TEXT:  2 Peter 3: But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. [b] That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

Commentary:

The Good News from all of the above is in Verse 13 above…13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

His Promise:

Without God we can do nothing…  You may say well how about that famous rich person that is so worldly and rich? How did he acquire his wealth? Our Lord’s commissioned the Good-News to be brought to the Poor…  ‘The Poor in Spirit’

Text: Matthew 16:26

What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

 Commentary: Jesus himself spoke of the rich man that was dressed in Purple robes and ate sumptuous meals daily , and then he died he was placed in a place of perpetual torment, and Lazarus who stood at his gate daily tattered and hungry that this rich man ignored was now sitting next to Father Abraham in heaven.

Richness and poverty were discussed by Jesus…

Jesus spoke about the poor widow that dropped her last coin in the offering plate… (She was poor in wealth but rich in Spirit)

•Luke 21:4 All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”

•Do not place your trust in wealth, trust in the Lord…

•1 Timothy 6:17 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.

•Being rich in the heavenly realms is far greater than being; wretched, pitiful, poor (in Spirit) and also blind and naked as described in…

•Revelation 3:17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.

Principle: Luke 16:11

So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? †

Be a good custodian, use your worldly wealth for His Glory, and being a good steward means to be ‘Rich’ in His Holy Spirit by delighting yourself in our Lord Jesus who makes all things possible for those who love Him.

Focus:     You are never rejected… all who asks receives and are welcomed into His family by His New Covenant

But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.

    and with the people of Judah.

Commentary:   The bestselling book of all times (Guinness World record) is the Bible….  The printed word may have given up some percentage as the electronic version of the Holy Bible has gained popularity.  The fact remains that the Author of this best seller is God… There are many that may never have read the Bible, but they did read Harry Potter or some other fiction.  And as said they are just ‘Fiction’ None of these fiction-novels will tell you the ‘Good-News’.

The Good-News today is… Jesus Christ is alive!

Jesus said…” 14 This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Our God is slow to anger.

Text: Nahum 1:3 (NKJV)

3 The Lord is slow to anger and great in power,

The Lord has His way

In the whirlwind and in the storm,

And the clouds are the dust of His feet.

Commentary:  Nahum wrote his vision around 612 BC and his warning was to the Syrians and to the Tribe of Judah… So we see back 612 years before the Birth of Christ, the Syrians were described as brutally cruel, known as Nineveh. This is where God sent Jonah.  Now we see why Jonah tried to hide and runaway from God by not going to Nineveh.  Today Syria is the biggest news of its civil war.

Coming to our Lord:

Calling on the Lord is never futile, he will always answer…

Just as the Ethiopian’s Eunuch whom God called, and he tried to worship in the Temple but was given a copy of the Bible and God called Phillip to go to him and explain the Scriptures.  This was a benchmark event in history as the Scriptures were brought to Ethiopia spawning a cornerstone Church that is still following Christ today.

What was the Ethiopian official reading when Philip boarded his chariot?  What was so profound that he asked to be baptized by Philip?  He was reading Isaiah 53:

Focus:        Have you ever approached someone who is in customer service but it appeared that you are interrupting them?

Just think how you may come to the Lord many times per day, and you will never be interrupting Him.  Jesus loves your interruptions, because He is there for you.

TEXT: Matthew 18:

The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant

21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?”

22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.[g]

23 “Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24 As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand bags of gold[h] was brought to him. 25 Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.

26 “At this the servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’ 27 The servant’s master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.

28 “But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred silver coins.[i] He grabbed him and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded.

29 “His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay it back.’

30 “But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt. 31 When the other servants saw what had happened, they were outraged and went and told their master everything that had happened.

32 “Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. 33 Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ 34 In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.

35 “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.”

Topic:

Forgiveness is difficult everyone say forgiveness is a good idea until they have something to forgive and to have the strength to forgive

  • The source of forgiveness is from faith
    So we must increase our faith
  • Faith is one of the most enigmatic intangible action, but it is the key to Power from our Lord
  • Faith, Hope, Trust, & Grace are not commonly used word in Legal documents, these are aligned to the Heavenly realms
  •  Forgiveness is only real when it is rendered with sincerity
  • Attitude is what makes up sincerity, forgiveness without repentance is false,
  • Love & Forgiveness is the cornerstone of faith
  • Faith in our Lord is the source of our Power from Him
  • The power of our Supreme God who spoke the world into Existence can change anything in our lives
  • Just ask Jesus to change the abominable things in our lives


1  We must make a decision
2. I must understand the need & urgency to give forgiveness before He will accept me.
3. You cannot come to Christ unless we have forgiven all
4. You have to uproot the barrier to truly forgive others
5. Forgiveness is paying a debt of someone that incurred a debt
6. Forgiveness is to forgive & to forget
The gospel is the Grace of our Lord and his Power

  • Mercy is of Grace
  • Jesus acted as a servant to us when he was a King
  • God is not obliged to forgive us it is by his Love that he extended His Grace
  • All sins are all sin, one sin makes us a sinner, but we must know that wilful sinning is persecuting Christ again and those that willfully sin may duffer His wrath as he will give you I've to a Reprobate mind and treat you as Hopeless case of mocking Him..
  • God will not be mocked.
  • The Grace from Jesus is undeserved and we cannot earn it
  • Grace is what Jesus paid for by his Blood for us
  • Faith is the power from our God and in His son Jesus we have redemption by his Grace that we are saved and not of anything we do.

Morning:

               

Focus:       Commit all things to the Lord… Seek Him first and His Righteousness and He said all things will be added unto to you

What do we have considered worthy to be committed to The Lord? Certainly nothing, or ‘No-thing’ as things are just things… The dictionary defined ‘Thing’ as…a material object without life or consciousness; aninanimate object.

So commit your life your Spirit (Soul) to the Lord… He has no use for things, as he made it all and there’s more where it’s from. 

TEXT:  Hebrews 9: 22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

Today we are focusing on the real reason why God looked favorably on Abel’s sacrifice, and why He was killed…

The event of Cain & Abel bring the first murder recorded in the Holy Bible, it is more than a feud between the brothers. It foretold the coming event of our Lord Jesus who made the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.

Note that this event took place after the serpent tempted Eva and Adam participated in the fall that brought ‘Sin’ into the world…

Genesis 4:

Now Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil. In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord. And Abel also brought an offering—fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering, but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast.

Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”

Now Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let’s go out to the field.”[d] While they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.

Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?”

“I don’t know,” he replied. “Am I my brother’s keeper?”

10 The Lord said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground. 11 Now you are under a curse and driven from the ground, which opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. 12 When you work the ground, it will no longer yield its crops for you. You will be a restless wanderer on the earth.”

Commentary: While a fruit or a vegetable is grown and is somewhat ‘alive’ but is has no blood… on the other hand Abel‘s sacrifice was from a ‘living-thing’ made alive by the blood.

His Promise:

Hebrews 9:  The Blood of Christ

11 But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here,[a] he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation. 12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining[b] eternal redemption.13 The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean.14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death,[c] so that we may serve the living God!

15 For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

16 In the case of a will,[d] it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it, 17 because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living. 18 This is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood. 19 When Moses had proclaimed every command of the law to all the people, he took the blood of calves, together with water, scarlet wool and branches of hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll and all the people. 20 He said, “This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep.”[e] 21 In the same way, he sprinkled with the blood both the tabernacle and everything used in its ceremonies. 

22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

23 It was necessary, then, for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with human hands that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence. 25 Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. 26 Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But he has appeared once for all at the culmination of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

His Faithfulness: Ephesians 2:8-9New International Version (NIV)

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

Action: Grace is an ‘undeserved’ merit… ‘Merit’ is defined as…

Something that deserves or justifies a reward orcommendation; a commendable quality.

The inherent rights and wrongs of a matter, as a lawsuit, unobscured by proceduraldetails, technicalities, personal feelings, etc.

Ina court of law… The case will be decided on its merits alone.

So be thankful for the mercies of our Lord as it is by His Grace that we are saved…

EVENING:

Morning:

               

Focus:       Is the week shaping up good? Is it going according to plans? Does your plan includes waiting on any decision from man?  God in His Omniscient will not keep you waiting. You may say how we can say this, I have prayed and I did not get my request from God, and I am still waiting. 

TEXT: Matthew 6:33

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. In Context | Full Chapter |

Commentary

Man’s decision is made on their ability and man’s ability is limited, but God’s ability is limitless… Waiting on man’s decision is made when it serves him best. But there are times when you ask you will receive from man because of compassion and love.  But this is ‘sometimes’ on the other hand God is always faithful, and if this is so why did I not get that new car that I Prayed for? Is God listening? Yes He heard you, but He has something better for you in your life than that new car.  What? I need a new car to impress my friends and to drive around.  Guess what? Ask for wisdom, seek Him first and the little things like a new car will be there for you to use. Notice the word is ’use’ as the car is only a means of transportation, which you will not need in the future.

His Promise:

Philippians 4:19

And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. In Context | Full Chapter | 

His Faithfulness:

Notice that the Scripture said... He will supply all “your needs” not all your ‘Wants” At the right time all your need will be furnished, we are to follow what Paul said to the Philippians…

Action:

Philippians 4: Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is [c]near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all[d]comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is [e]lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, [f]dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Think on this: The choice is yours, but God did say He knew us all before you were born, and He has good things in store for you…

Lord the Good News of Your Resurrection that conquered death by Your Blood of Atonement, we are saved, let us share this Good News with many and we give You the preeminence in our lives Lord Jesus as we acknowledge Your Sovereign power sitting on the Throne of Righteousness at the Right-Hand of our Father and Creator. We thank You Lord for our Visitors, bless each and every one. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus as our Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and forevermore… Amen.
