Some are given the gift of Hope, Some healing, and some Leadership

Romans 12:6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith

Speaking in Tongues must be defined, as Paul outline below. Read carefully and pray for discernment to understand the differentiation of Praying to God and to the church.

1 Corinthians 14 

14 Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy. For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit. But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort. Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves, but the one who prophesies edifies the church. I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be edified.

Now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you and speak in tongues, what good will I be to you, unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or word of instruction? Even in the case of lifeless things that make sounds, such as the pipe or harp, how will anyone know what tune is being played unless there is a distinction in the notes? Again, if the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle? So it is with you. Unless you speak intelligible words with your tongue, how will anyone know what you are saying? You will just be speaking into the air. 10 Undoubtedly there are all sorts of languages in the world, yet none of them is without meaning. 11 If then I do not grasp the meaning of what someone is saying, I am a foreigner to the speaker, and the speaker is a foreigner to me. 12 So it is with you. Since you are eager for gifts of the Spirit, try to excel in those that build up the church.

13 For this reason the one who speaks in a tongue should pray that they may interpret what they say. 14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful. 15 So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my understanding; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my understanding. 16 Otherwise when you are praising God in the Spirit, how can someone else, who is now put in the position of an inquirer, say “Amen” to your thanksgiving, since they do not know what you are saying? 17 You are giving thanks well enough, but no one else is edified.

18 I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you. 19 But in the church I would rather speak five intelligible words to instruct others than ten thousand words in a tongue.

20 Brothers and sisters, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults. 21 In the Law it is written:

“With other tongues
    and through the lips of foreigners
I will speak to this people,
    but even then they will not listen to me,
says the Lord.”

22 Tongues, then, are a sign, not for believers but for unbelievers; prophecy, however, is not for unbelievers but for believers. 23 So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and inquirers or unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind? 24 But if an unbeliever or an inquirer comes in while everyone is prophesying, they are convicted of sin and are brought under judgment by all, 25 as the secrets of their hearts are laid bare. So they will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, “God is really among you!”

26 What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up. 27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, two—or at the most three—should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. 28 If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and to God.

29 Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said. 30 And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop. 31 For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged. 32 The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets. 33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.

Let us be careful in declaring that speaking in tongues is ‘jibberish…


Lord Jesus we come and thank You for Your Divine Grace, Your Mercies and Your Abundance. Lord bless of Visitors and grants us all You Divine Grace and everlasting Redemption.  We pray in Your Holy Name as You intercedes for us to the Father. To You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Use your God given talent, spread the Good News, let your light shine for Christ…


Focus:    ‘Finders-Keepers’ a little saying that we all grew up with… (The unpaid can of Peanut) we cannot avoid being tempted…

The old children’s rhyme is "Finders, keepers / Losers, weepers"…

Have you ever found an item that you did not pay for in your grocery cart after leaving the store? Recently unpacking the groceries, I found a can of peanut that I had taken off the shelf, but it was left in the cart and not paid for… returning to the store to pay for this as I paid the cashier I asked have you had anyone that came back to pay for unpaid items after leaving the store? She said not many, maybe once or twice.    What went through my mind that made me took the extra time to walk back inside and pay, I said I could not enjoy the peanut knowing it was unlawfully gained.  Obviously only I and God would know that this can of nuts was not paid for, so knowing that God knew this was sufficient a cause for me to do the right thing.

In the world of retail, merchants allow a certain percentage for ‘Shrinkage’ and the Urban Dictionary (A dictionary of slangs) the best quote for stealing or shoplifting is known as the ’five-finger discount’ and the definition that is a deterrent… five finger discount Stealing.

“The punishment for thievery in certain middle eastern countries possibly includes cutting off all five fingers from the hand that stole the goods. Hence, your discounted price of $0 includes five of your fingers, or a "five finger discount".

The Anointing at Bethany

12 Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was who had been dead, [a] whom He had raised from the dead. There they made Him a supper; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those who sat at the table with Him. Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.

But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who would betray Him, said, “Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii[b] and given to the poor?” This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.

But Jesus said, “Let her alone; she has kept[c] this for the day of My burial.For the poor you have with you always, but Me you do not have always.”


Sometimes we may ask why Jesus would have a person like Judas Iscariot among His gathering. Inspite of Jesus knowing that Judas was a thief he allowed him to be the keeper of the moneybox.  Here we see the ‘money-box’ and the ‘Poor’ being linked by the Lord. Jesus said the poor we will always have among us. Is any of us considered the ‘Poor’ among us? Read on…

On the day of Pentecost Sunday…

It is the day set aside to commemorate the event when the Holy Spirit descended.  It was also a day of Salvation when Peter preached and over three thousand came to Christ. See Verse 40 of Acts 2.

Today we see large crusades in areas and stadiums, but nothing compares to the eventful day when the Holy Spirit descended upon those that were gathered. Among them were Egyptians, Arabs, Libyans, Romans, Jews, Partians (natives of Iran, formerly known as Persia) and many from Judea and surrounding regions.

Pentecost comes 50 days after Easter, Easter is the 2nd most important event ever recorded in the history of mankind. Easter commemorates the Resurrection of Jesus that triumphantly rose from the grave, and Divinely Ascended 40 days after His Resurrection. (The 1st most important event in mankind’s history was the Virgin Birth of our Lord Jesus, the 3rd most important was the Ascension of Jesus into Heaven.) The Bible went on to say that Jesus will return, we will cover this subject next week.

The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost

2: 1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. Utterly amazed, they asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language?Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontusand Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome 11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” 12 Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”

13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.”

Peter Addresses the Crowd

14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. 15 These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! 16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

17 “‘In the last days, God says,
    I will pour out my Spirit on all people. 
Your sons and daughters will prophesy, 
    your young men will see visions,
    your old men will dream dreams.
18 Even on my servants, both men and women,
    I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
    and they will prophesy. 
19 I will show wonders in the heavens above
    and signs on the earth below, 
    blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20 The sun will be turned to darkness
    and the moon to blood 
    before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
21 And everyone who calls
    on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

The declaration of Jesus as the Redeemer…

38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off —for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” 41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.

The Fellowship of the Believers

42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus that Paid It All

Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions and where You are, we will be. Lord, today let Your Holy Spirit be with our Visitors and us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday: March 28, 2020

Today… Find the beauty of the Lord, it surrounds us, look at the forest, ignore the potholes, take a deep breath…

Driving along the streets, avenues of most cities after a few heavy downpours of rain, there are potholes, but look around and see the green shrubs and the green lawns, and while enjoying the beauty take a deep breath of fresh air.

Rain provides multiple benefits…  Rainwater is better for your plants and soil. Rainwater is highly oxygenated, free of the salts, inorganic ions, and fluoride compounds contained in tap water that accumulate in the soil over time and potentially harm plant roots. Use of rainwater in your garden dilutes this impact, making plants more drought-tolerant, healthy, and strong.

Negative ions from Rain is also beneficial to our bodies, it is an anti-depressant, it is good for your brain and it can help you sleep.  Spending too much time indoors will deprive you of negative ions.  Negative ions provide that feeling of ‘a Breath of fresh-air’ after a down-pour of rain.

Fifty days after the Resurrection and Jesus’ ascension to the Father comes the Day of Pentecost.  The Holy Spirit is not negative ions, it was and is the ‘Comforter’ sent from the Lord. Invite the Lord’s Holy Spirit into your life, just as it is recommended that during a down-pour of rain, step outside and do some deep breathing to fill your lungs with the negative ions.  Do this… Be still and know that Jesus is Lord of all, and He is at the Right-hands of the Father.

Psalm 27:4

One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.

Commentary: Our Lord let it rain on both the just and the unjust…. But in our life, we cannot have Faith without knowing His Holiness, His Graciousness, His Unconditional love and above all His Divine Redemption.  He sends His Showers of Blessings…

Matthew 5:45

That you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Today as we check the weather report, are we deserving of His blessings?  Some western weather reporters report rainy weather as a ‘bad-day’ in the Asian society; it would be described as ‘what a lovely shower of rain’.

Looking ahead for the coming week, we see challenges, but the days ahead are really filled with opportunities… why? We will meet new people, we will visit with friends, and we can pass-on the Good News.  The good news is that all what we need will be provided by the Providence of our Lord to those that seek Him.  Look at Matthew a Tax Collector that used his mission in life to bring the Good News of Jesus to his Jewish people. 

Matthew’s message was and is focused to the Jews and the Gentiles as well, that Jesus is the Messiah, and through Jesus the deliverance from sin and its effect is available to both Jews and Gentiles.

To the unbeliever Matthew made his statement that Jesus welcomes those who called upon our Lord as He is the Savior of the world, (The world means living beings not the physical word)

Because our Lord knows our thoughts, He said … Matthew 6:8

Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Let us give thanks for the Favors of our Lord…

At the present time, your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality,

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

HE Remembered… We are His, He purchased us with His Blood….

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

All through the Bible the theme is; God is Faithful, God Loves us, Jesus our Redeemer would come and Redeem us, and a greater portion of the New Testament and many of the Old Testament are God’s teaching to us to have Faith in His Son.

Colossians 2:9-10

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus we come, Lord today our dependence is on You Lord, and Your empowerment reaches far above the powers of mankind.  Let us comprehend the real meaning of being made ‘Joint-Heirs’ in You Lord as You have endowed us with Riches far greater than the kingdoms of this world as You said not even Solomon had the beauty of Your Grace. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and asks Your blessings on each one.   Lord We Praise You and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen

Do this…  Judge yourself first, then you won’t judge anyone. Our self-righteous is broken, so get it fixed first.

Luke 6:37

 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

Matthew 6:15

But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Focus:  Remembering the mercies of the Lord… How he did this for Moses, Stephen, Elijah and He will do the same for us

What did God do for Moses?  We read of Moses’ action that was contrary to God’s order:

Remembering the mercies of the Lord… How He did this for Moses, Stephen, Elijah and He will do the same for us.

We need to read between the lines… The Lord said to Moses, ‘you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given to them’. What was God saying?  He said Moses would not be the one to accompany the (millions of people) in Canaan. God was probably saying… Hey Moses, you did not Honor me as I did empower you to just ‘Speak’ to the Rock, and this is to draw a parallel when God ‘Spoke’ all things into creation… But Moses made an ‘Error’ and God probably empathize with Moses as God knew that Moses had many things to contend with, and Moses was a Man and man do err…

TEXT: Numbers 20: Moses’ Error at Kadesh

20 Then the children of Israel, the whole congregation, came into the Wilderness of Zin in the first month, and the people stayed in Kadesh; and Miriam died there and was buried there.

Now there was no water for the congregation; so, they gathered together against Moses and Aaron. And the people contended with Moses and spoke, saying: “If only we had died when our brethren died before the Lord! 4 Why have you brought up the assembly of the Lord into this wilderness, that we and our animals should die here? And why have you made us come up out of Egypt, to bring us to this evil place? It is not a place of grain or figs or vines or pomegranates; nor is there any water to drink.” So Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and they fell on their faces. And the glory of the Lord appeared to them.

Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Take the rod; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus, you shall bring water for them out of the rock and give drink to the congregation and their animals.”

 So Moses took the rod from before the Lord as He commanded him.

10 And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, “Hear now, you rebel! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?” 11 Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.

12 Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”


The Love of Christ:

Christ who is our Divine and Son of the invisible who was there before Abraham, Moses and everyone, because God said on the First-Day…” Let there be light” and there appeared Yeshua/Jesus and even in the crossing to Canaan, it was Jesus and our Lord had compassion on Moses and Aaron.

While God took Moses to the Real-Promised Land…Heaven, The Bible said nowhere can we find the remains of Moses.

What ‘proof’ can we reflect on that Moses wasn’t buried…

Moses & Elijah appeared to Jesus: Matthew 17 [Full Chapter]

Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. ...

Keynote: To have Jesus in Him all things are possible. And the ‘things’ are not important as He is Preeminent as our Redeemer.   ‘Rejoice’ and to have ‘Joy’ in Him.  Praise our everlasting God as through Jesus we are made righteous to be in God’s presence. Thank You Jesus Messiah…

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord Jesus thank You for being our Intercessor and Lord because without You we cannot come to the Father and we know that You Lord Jesus is One in the Father, we thank You Lord for the privilege of sharing the Good News and our Visitors and bless us all. We affirm You Preeminent in all. To you be the Power and Glory Jesus our Redeemer and Sovereign God in Your Holy Trinity of the Father … Amen

Devotionals for Thursday: March 26, 2020

Know this…  What is time?  It is NOW!... Yesterday is gone and tomorrow will be another day, don’t be enslaved.

It’s been 2,017 years since Christ came as Emanuel, (God with us) and 1,984 years ago Jesus ascended to heaven.  His brief visit was a mission to save us.  Saving us from what?  The Wrath of God. So, this is the Good News…

When we look around us, the wonder and the beauty of God’s creation, the blue skies, the majestic mountains and the wonders of the world, these are the ‘Natural-Wonders’

list of the natural wonders includes:

  • Aurora Borealis.
  • Harbor of Rio de Janeiro.
  • Grand Canyon.
  • Great Barrier Reef.
  • Mount Everest.
  • Paricutin.
  • Victoria Fall

The modern-day list of ‘Wonders’ are mostly man-made, to us these are all temporary structures as most are in a state of decay. However, one of the listed modern-day wonders is the Stature of Christ that towers over Brazil.

While we enjoy the beauty of God’s creation, it is over-shadowed by the strife, the war, the drug epidemic, the decadence of society… so where’s the good news? Our topic today is Time, and the question is, what is Time? It is a measurement developed to apportion the day into 24 hours.  While we use the clock and the calendar, we often wonder… Is the Lord tardy in His return? To God Time is infinite, with God there is no time, He is Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, in Him all things are eternal.

God is never late nor, is He ever not Faithful, He is always On-Time, and He knows each of us by name, and He is coming again.

This Is Written That You May Know

13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.


This is His Priceless Gift from our Lord Jesus, He provided us with a ‘Pardon’ that we could not purchase, not even the governor, not the king or queen or anyone could grant you a pardon for the sentence of death that we all have. 

Today with Joy knowing in Christ Jesus we have Victory over death, granted through His Blood of Atonement that we can be with our Lord in a place He called ‘Paradise’

Principle: Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10: 13 NKJV

What we need to know that the Bible is not just a book, it was inspired by God, and Jesus that came on the day over 2017 years ago, that started the calendar at Year 01, and 1,984 years after this wonderful day, He was crucified and the Sun went dark for 3 hours, and three days after the crucifixion He rose triumphantly… appeared to the disciples and family then ascended into Heaven.

We read that HE came also to give us abundant life…

John 10:10 (King James Version)

10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly”. (These are the word spoken by Jesus)

So, as revealed that in God’s Kingdom there will be no temple because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb (Jesus) are its temple, and no need for the sun or moon as the Glory of God gives it light and Jesus is the Lamp and the nations will walk by His light, and there will be no night.

Revelation 21 reveals that…. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

So today, Repent and ask God’s forgiveness and through the Grace of our Lord Jesus, you will be saved and your name will be written in the Lamb’s book of life. Because Jesus Paid It All.

Question… In the heavenly realms are there forces of evil?  Yes, according to what we read. Therefore, there is a difference of God’s Kingdom versus the heavenly realms.

The forces of evil are hard at work, but the Power of the Lord is greater…

Coming to the Lord…

Today, as we think of the world drifting apart and the scheme of men… things have not gotten worse, it seems worse because we are made aware of the evil things of the world. The evil intent is spreading, but we can do our part following Christ knowing His love for us, and doing His command… friends we are all commissioned to bring His salvation to the ends of the earth.

The Day of the Lord… are we there yet?

What a day it will be!

Text:  2 Peter 3:10  [The Day of the Lord]

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.


What is the Day of the Lord? This is the day when His Grace ends, what do we mean by this? Before answering this, let’s first look at the meaning of Grace; a: unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification

b: a virtue coming from God.

We see that His Grace is undeserved by us, why do we need His Grace? Because we are all sinners. Why am I called a sinner? Because we are all descendants of Adam, and when Adam & Eve sinned, God evicted them from the Garden of Eden. But God made a way for us to be Redeemed by His Son, Jesus (Read more about the supremacy of Jesus in John 1, Hebrews 1 & Ephesians 1), as He is God in One of our Father) Now His Grace granted to allow us to receive Him exists now, but the expiration date will be by one of two means.  One way if you die before accepting Him, and secondly, when He Returns which is known as the Day of The Lord.

In the last days…We read today from the writing of the Apostle Peter, Peter had the zeal to bring the teaching of living for Christ, in 2 Peter 1: 3, he was making a calling to be aware of:  

Verse 3: “His divine Power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him (Jesus Christ) who called us by His own glory and goodness”.

Reading from: 1 Peter 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

From the day of Creation God provided us with the goodness of His creation and gave us dominion over all living things. Just imagine, the creation of Heaven and Earth were made for Mankind… just think that God in His Infinite Wisdom by His Intelligent design did all this for us. Why” because He loves us... But we betrayed His trust and sin entered the lives of humans, now as descendants of Adam we inherited this blemish called Sin.  But nothing surprises our Majestic God; He provided a way for us to be redeemed by the Blood of Jesus. Jesus, who was with God and the Holy Spirit from the beginning of it all, Jesus was predestined to be our Redeemer.

Today we will look back at the spiritual leaders  that made their mark on Christianity by the formation of the Church.  Christians are followers of Christ, and the original team consisting of Paul, Barnabas, Luke, March, Matthews, James, John, Timothy, Simon, Silas & Stephen,   The early church founders suffered as much confrontation facing many of our Missionaries in foreign land today. In fact; Stephen was stoned to death.  Saul was struck down on the road to Damascus and Jesus claimed Saul as His Vessel, Saul became a follow of Christ, and he then used his other name Paul.

The Church of Antioch was considered the birthplace of the Christian Church, as followers of Christ were first called Christians in Antioch.

In the United States we will reflect on Christian leaders like Dwight D. Moody, and the famous British clergyman, Charles H. Spurgeon.  These men made their mark on Christianity during the last century, and their teaching are still today being used on a daily basis. Dwight L. Moody a man that left school in the fifth grade, and went on to build schools and colleges, and today Moody Institute is a worldwide legacy through Moody Broadcast and Theological seminary.

We also must mention the Five Missionaries that went to the deep jungle of Ecuador. The two most well-known would be Jim Elliott and Nate Saint, their legacy mark a historical event that opened this remote region to Christ.

The most frequently asked about quote is,

"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose."

A famous quote by Jim Elliott one of five Martyrs that brought the Auca Indians to the Lord after they were martyred, Jim’s wife and Nate’s wife stayed on in the jungle of Ecuador and brought the leaders to the Lord. What a price to have paid to bring our Lord Jesus to this remote jungle.

This can be found in the October 28, 1949 entry on page 174 (Chapter 4) of the 1958 hardback edition of Shadow of the Almighty.

On page 35 of the volume, Matthew is recalling his father's acts of kindness and charity and how he used to say, "He is no fool who parts with what he cannot keep, when he is sure to be recompensed with what he cannot lose."

Today… We church goers that are really ‘Arm-chair’ worshippers need to regain the Zeal, it may not be to go to the ends of the earth, but right here in our backyard of this United States there is a need to bring the Gospel of Salvation to a population that are drifting away and some not even ever heard the Truth of our Lord’s Salvation.

We who are believers need to do our part as the commission of our Lord was to proclaim His message of; Good News that He Rose Triumphantly and HE is alive on the Throne of Righteousness and He is waiting to receive those that come to Him for His Redemption.

There’s so much to tell, as re recite the key things we all need to know:

God Created the Heaven and the Earth
God Created us in His Likeness
Because we are  Created in the Likeness of God, we too shall live forever.
Jesus is the Son of God and He is Supreme and was there from the beginning of it all
Because we are descendants of Adam, we are all born into Sin.
The Good News is: God Sent His Son Jesus to Redeem us
Jesus Paid It All by His Blood of Atonement.
The Grace of our Lord is extended to us all, and right now is the time of Acceptance
If we Accept our Lord Jesus and repent of our Sin, He will Redeem us by His Blood as a Seal and as a Down/Payment for our Redemption that we will be with our Lord in a Place of Splendor forever.

10. We also need to let it be known that while our Lord is a Lord of Love, A Gracious Redeemer and a Patient God, He is also a God of Consuming Fire…

11. Our Lord said that when we are saved by His Grace we will never be lost, but we must know Him and have a close walk with our Lord as He will meet all our needs and He will never leave us nor forsake us.

12. We can come to  our Lord Jesus right where we are and he will receive us, and we can have His assurance that we will be saved by His Blood.

Praise Our Lord Jesus for His Omniscience and His Divine Holiness and Jesus is our Sovereign Eternal God. Thank You Lord for the privilege of coming to you my Lord. Amen.

But having a weak immune system could be the root cause of not having the resistance.  While this strain of virus may be very contagious one must take the necessary precaution.  Not because you can rely of the protection of the Lord, and He has saved you many times from disasters, do not tempt fate. You may have the Lord’s protection but that doesn’t mean you can step out in front of an oncoming motor vehicle. Be safe and follow instruction, stay re-hydrated, take your supplements, of vitamins and spend a few minutes in the sunlight.


Father in Heaven we come and give You our Praises and in Jesus our Eternal Savior and our Sovereign God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord we give You first place in our lives knowing that all good things are from you Lord. Topic: Is ‘Truth’ a scarce factor today?  ‘Half-Truth’ is more prevalent, why?

Focus:  The Age of Information managed in a Digital Age created a new platform to suppress the Truth…

How could this be? Money, corruption, influence and retribution are suppressing the truth to the point of promoting evil over goodness.  Mostly driven by the ulterior motives of people of influence. The Media, and all News channels are directed to ‘Spin’ the facts and to remove the truth that will harm the ‘Big-Money’ influences. So when ‘Big-Money’ is tied to people of influence, mostly higher-ups in the hierarchy of society, they can remove the truth and spin their agenda to influence the public.

A person choosing to do the right thing by telling the truth, it may cause some problem but in the end it will relief that person from guilt, and in most instances reduce the penalty.

In Christ the Truth is always first and foremost, and when you come and confess that ‘half-truth’ or the whole thing of what was done.  The Lord will forgive, but to willfully sin you are mocking the Lord.  In one’s life we ourselves will say ‘enough is enough’ and in the case of a habitual offender coming back each time to say ‘I am sorry’ and right after you have pardoned this person, he does it again and he comes back and say, I did it again and I am sorry.  Yet, we are to forgive again.

So today… let us not mock the Lord by willfully sinning… Our sins are forgiven, because of the Grace of the Lord, but our Redemption are by His Sacrifice done at Calvary.  It has been 2016 years since our Redeemer came.  Jesus our Redeemer came to save us…

John 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

The Text above is saying God loved the ‘People’ of the World.  In reality only living-souls can love and be loved, the world is a physical place not a being.  The World is a place and it contains the ‘life-style’ and what is imposed by humans and set in place by man in what God created.

1 John 2:15

On Not Loving the World] Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.

1 John 3:1

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

We read that the Meek shall inherit the earth…

Psalm 37:11 But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.

Matthew 5:5

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth

Jesus did say this, but He was referring to inherit the benefits of earth ‘During’ our lifetime’ while we sojourn to Him.

Because Scriptures tell us…

2 Peter 3:10

The Day of the Lord] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up

Here’s where our ‘Inheritance’ will be… It is a Kingdom not made with human hand:

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also

Jesus astounded everyone by saying… John 8:23

Jesus said He will return, and He is bringing His Reward with Him…

Revelation 22:12

Jesus Testifies to the Churches] “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work.

In God’s Kingdom there will be a whole New-World, as Jesus said…” I am not of this World” and His World is a Sanctified Sinless World.  We will still be our same individual selves, but we will be fully ‘Sanctified’ as a ‘New-Creation’ in a place Jesus called ‘Paradise’.  700+ years before the Birth of Christ the Bible foretold us of Christ our Redeemer… Isaiah 53

Devotional:  Let’s us Praise our Lord and Savior today and know that it is by His Grace that we are Saved…

Topic: Going that ‘Extra-Mile’ because of being enabled by Grace…

Today when you go that ‘extra-mile’ and a co-worker say to you; “you don’t have to do that, it is not your duty”, just remember God rewards those that are faithful and He will see your good works.

Do you believe there is a God, even the devil does? And he (the devil) shudders

Thoughts for the day:  Does the belief of the devil that there is a God confirms your belief?


You do not need the devil to confirm that there is a God, because God loves you, and the devil hates you…

God through His Son Jesus who is God in One of the Father cares for you, the devil wants to destroy you.

Remember the devil cannot use you unless you grant him your permission. This is done when we yield to temptation, being tempted is not a sin, but to indulge knowing that the temptation is from the evil one, you are now crossing over and will be used by the devil.

The devil has no power that cannot be overcome when you are armed with the Word of God.  Unless the devil is permitted, he cannot harm those in Grace with the Lord.  What do we mean, He could not harm Job, he was permitted to render pain and grief, but God stopped him from killing Job, and God restored Job and all that he lost caused by the evil one.

So today do not grant your permission to the evil one.  We need to be armed with the armor of God.  The text above clearly stated… For we are not fighting against human beings but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark age.

Knowing that God is Real and Jesus who is Supreme and Eternal and conquered death, on the other hand we need to know there exists the wicked spiritual forces who is the ruler of this dark age.

Yielding to temptation is like knowing that beyond the next step is the end of the ledge and you will fall 20 floors to the ground, but the lure of this world tempts you to indulge.  So, indulging you fall, not many people ever survived such a free-fall to tell us of the brief ‘soaring feeling’ that may be a good feeling which ends in seconds.  Such is the pleasures of what the devil offers.

The text also said… build up your strength in union with the Lord and by means of his mighty power. Put on all the armor that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the Devil's evil tricks.

Remember the ‘Mighty-Power’ belongs to the Lord, and through Jesus we have His Power to withstand the devil’s evil tricks.

Ephesians 6:13-18 (GNT) 13 So put on God's armor now! Then when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist the enemy's attacks; and after fighting to the end, you will still hold your ground.

14 So stand ready, with:

Truth as a belt tight around your waist
Righteousness as your breastplate
The readiness to announce the Good News of peace is your shoes
Faith as a shield
Salvation as a helmet
The word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you

The above represent the most advanced weapon ever made, as it is made and provided by God.

A reminder to us all... God will not be mocked; Ecclesiastes Chapter 12: 13-14 Afterall this, there is only one thing to say: Have reverence for God, and obey his commands, because this is all that we were created for. 14 God is going to judge everything we do, whether good or bad, even things done in secret.

Life in the Spirit

Topic: Sharing the wealth… ‘The communist that won the Lotto’

Thoughts for the day: Good-Stewardship – True Testing is when He has blessed you

TEXT: Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Commentary: We wrote about the communist that won the  lottery, his comrades came and said… “now that you won the jackpot, you have to share this with us, as the order of communism is to share with your comrades”, he responded…” now that I won, I am now a ‘capitalist’ so capitalist do not share their wealth with communist”. 

When you are wealthy being faithful in you walk and is rewarded … remember that the endeavors are not achieved by ourselves, and gaining the providence of our Lord that placed you in a position of well-being, the ‘Gift’ or the favors granted to you is for ‘His Glory’… God entrusted you as a ‘Trustee’ and you are simply holding the resources to be used for His Glory. 

The secret that Jesus revealed in His teaching of Matthew 6: 33… (NKJV)

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

We are to spread His Good News, we are to have no other God, and he alone is Sovereign, and He is the Great “I AM” and we are to love others like ourselves.

We also must bring to our Lord the First Fruit, not just from the beginning of His Providence, but all succeeding harvest as His Favors will last. So, we are to be good stewards because it is a duty, be a good steward because of your love and compassion to all and for His Glory.

You may say…” how can I be a good-steward” when I personally am having difficulties making ends meet? Have you tried what Jesus said in Matthew 6: 33?  (See above) Give this precept of our Lord a try, and sincerely apply this and let’s revisit your stance in a few months.  You may find that “All things work together for good for those who love our Lord Jesus…

Proverbs 11:24-25 (NKJV)

24 There is one who scatters yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty.25 The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 


Financial well-being is part of a peaceful life, but spiritual well-being is the utmost tranquility we can have, and this is through the Grace of our Lord Jesus.

Philippians 4: Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.


Stay focused on Christ our Redeemer…. Remember the devil is hard at work, and the closer you come to Jesus the harder the evil one will try… so place this on your heart:

1 Corinthians 10:13 (NKJV)

13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Rebuke the temptation in the name of the Lord…  Remembering that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you; and the temptation will be overshadowed by the Radiance of our Lord Jesus.

Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Lord and Savior, our Messiah, we come and praise You and lift You up before all knowing that through You, we have Victory. Lord You said; Whoever calls upon Your Name Lord shall be saved, Lord as we do, and we thank You Lord for our Visitors. We give You our Praises and we thank You for Your Grace knowing that it is by Your Grace that sinners are saved. In the Heavenly realms, God’s Kingdom does not have a membership fee, nor do you have to be sponsored by another member. You need only to ‘Ask’ and His Grace is available to grant you a life-membership which will never expire.  As you come and say Lord I Repent of my sins and I accept you Lord Jesus as my Lord and Savior you are now made a Joint-Heir to God’s Kingdom.

Introducing a Friend…

Today I will introduce a Friend, and my introduction will be based on His life, His care for me and His unmatched graciousness.

This friend visited earth 2,019 years ago, He came under a very unorthodox auspice of being born without an earthly father, His mother was a Virgin, and many wanted to make Him a king.

During His 33 years, He did many things that are still mind-baffling, He also made an astounding claim… He said, “I Am not of this world”.  He even claimed that before Abraham was, He was…

John 8:58  “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”

He declared that He was at the day of Creation with God the Father…

The Word Became Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

And Jesus is Sovereign… Colossians 1:16

For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 

 Keep looking up, as the Bible said:  This same Jesus will return. Acts 1:11

“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

Deuteronomy 4:24-29

For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Hear the Heavenly Voice

25 See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven,26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” 27 Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Our Lord Jesus born in a Stable is also the Supreme God in One of the Father…

Colossians 1: 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Reconciled in Christ

19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—

Prayer: Lord Jesus we are overwhelmed and are in Awe that You would leave You place of Paradise to come to this world of conflict for the sake of saving sinners like us. Lord because of Your Unconditional love for us Lord, we love You and we praise you for Your Graciousness. Lord we thank You for the privilege of serving You and to be able to bring Your Good News to the ends of the earth for Your Glory. Lord we thank you for our Visitors and we ask Your Divine Grace and Providence upon each one. Lord be with us all and let Your Holy Spirit be In-Dwelling in us as we go in Faith looking to that day when we shall see You as You are Lord Jesus, to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Sometimes one may experience the consequence of sin, even though you have asked for forgiveness… note parents will always reprimand their child for misbehavior, because they love the child and it is a way of correcting the child.  If the parents do not love or care for the child, then the misbehaviors are ignored.

Because as a child of God, He loves us and wants us to know His ways, and His ways are good…

We sometimes wish we could turn back time… to relive the memory of your remorse is not what God wants for you… Because the Word of God said;

So, today move to a higher stratum, take the High-Road and enjoy the beauty and wonders of God’s Creation surrounding you and give thanks for His Graciousness, as we say to God be the Glory as His Grace is sufficient.

Job 19: 25 – 26

For I know that my Redeemer lives,
And He shall stand at last on the earth;
26 And after my skin is destroyed, this I know,
That in my flesh I shall see God.

Coming to the Lord…

The theme today is:

a) Surrender, b) Believe, c) Be still and know that He is God…

Just as one must believe the instruments and surrender to the fact that the readings are correct and be still knowing that the instruments are showing you your true position.

We all have experiencing going in the wrong direction, think you are headed south but you are in fact headed north. Without a compass, it would be hopeless on the open seas, God did place the stars above that has been guiding mariners for centuries, and our Lord Jesus has been doing the same for centuries.  Centuries? But He was born just 2,020 years ago, Jesus said before Abraham was, He was the ‘I AM’. So, coming to Christ you are not coming to some new kid on the block, He was there on the first day of creation…


Coming to the Lord

Lord today we come knowing that You are not our ‘Co-Pilot’, but You Lord Jesus is the Pilot of our lives.  Lord today as we look at the ‘reading’ of the times, we remain steadfast that only in You we have the Abundant-Life that You provided. Lord today we thank You for our Visitors and praise You and give You preeminence in all knowing that before Abraham, Lord Jesus You were there as the great “I AM”.   Lord let there be many that will surrender and know that You are God in One of The Father through His Holy Trinity. Lord open our minds and let us be receptive to Your Word as we go with Your Peace… To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Our God is a God of Second Chance… He is there with open arms to welcome us home, provided we come in Faith and trust in Him.   Faith is a total belief in something that is unseen, and His Grace will be given to us when we come to Him.

The doctrine of men, and religious sects may appear to be gaining, but they are only mere men, and they all return to dust.

Protestants continue to make up the largest religious group in America, totaling 49% of U.S. adults interviewed as part of Gallup's Daily tracking in 2017. Catholics are the next-largest group, at 23% of the population, with Mormons accounting for about 2%. This means that about three-quarters of Americans, overall, identify with a Christian faith.

Another 6% of the population identifies with a non-Christian faith, including Judaism, Islam and others, while 21% of Americans do not have a formal religious identity. All of these groups are within a percentage point of where they were in 2016, suggesting that the shifts seen in previous years have stabilized, particularly the growth among those with no religious identity.

 Know this…  You are an ambassador of Christ in the kingdom of heaven, mightier than any country, start now…

Not only are you a representative of the Almighty, He has empowered you, and equipped you with the most advanced weapons.

And, we are to know this… that while we are engaged with HIM, in His Service, we are with him on His great Dance Floor, enjoying JOY and Peace that no one can give you.

Greater is HE in us than anyone.  We are, and we do this in Meekness, and Humbleness knowing that we know the answers as we end in Victory in Christ.

Remember… it’s like watching the Game, and your team is down three point with two minutes to go, don’t get too concerned because you already know that your team did score the winning goals. So be content, be at peace and know that comes what may, noting can deter us.  His Holy Spirit is with you and will provide what you need to accomplice what it takes to get the job completed. us all…  Praise God in the Name of Jesus our Lord and Savior.

Our God is Greater, Stronger and He is Omniscient, Omnipotent and no one like HIM. He is with you every step of the way.

A famous man once said, “Although I do not want to live as Christians do, I would like to die as they do”. There is a peace knowing who you are in Christ and where you will be going.  Obviously, this is impossible as a man living without Christ cannot know that kind of peace and do not fit the requirements. You cannot please God without Faith this person will never be in the presence of God.

Paul writing to the Galatians encapsulated the key points of Jesus’ teaching. We will take a brief look back on Paul who was a persecutor of Christians, he even witnessed the stoning death of Steven, and how Saul later known as Paul became a Vessel of Christ. The Lord called him for this season and task. Paul was not boasting when he said he knew of a man that was taken to the third heaven… this is where he received the knowledge of the Good News that he was commissioned to bring to the Gentiles.

Paul who accomplished such great things, yet he was imprisoned, suffered at the hands of ‘scoffers’ but he prevailed and was ‘refined by fire’ and became 24 Karat Gold to boldly proclaim Christ Jesus as His Lord.

You have a call on your life to do that which only you can do. He will walk you through it. For he has said, 2 Peter 1:3 but if you do not know him, you will never know the joy of walking your call out with him. FREEDOM ONLY COMES THROUGH KNOWING HIM.


Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Grace and Your Divine Gift of Life. Lord today we ask Your blessings on our Visitors and us all. To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen

Nothing can deter God’s plan. No politicians, as this was proven when Herod tried to stop the King of Kings and Lord of lords.

God’s plan of delivering the Israelites from Egypt, was done over 40 years. It wasn’t that God could not have done this in one day. But like how we too are being trained. The multitudes of people travelling to the ‘Promised-Land’ consisted of a very undisciplined group.  It took ‘Faith’ and Trusting God’s promise.  We too must know that when God said ‘Go’ we are to go.  Some went, but they lacked faith, and came back with reports of ‘Giants’ and that they were like ‘Grasshoppers’ compared to those they saw. Lacking faith they failed and were denied entry.

Joshua and Caleb had Faith and trusted God, they knew who God was and found the Super-Natural Power of the Living God.

So. Today as we look around, the mountains of challenges we face, God said… He will level them and make our pathway straight.  Do you believe this? Please do as Joshua and Caleb did believe this, and they conquered in the Name of the Lord.

So, thank the Lord, as the Word said…

Herod tried to change God’s plan, if he was successful in killing the baby Jesus, which could never be. Because God will always back His Word. Because Jesus came as the Messiah.

The birth of Jesus declared by the angel and announced by the shepherds, Herod was, by fear Herod issued the edict after he was humiliated by the Wisemen.

Joseph and Mary didn’t have to fleets the power of God surrounded them, but the prophecy had to be fulfilled.

“no vacancy” this is what greeted May and Joseph. So, our God incarnate was born in a stable, laid in a feeding trough.

No, there’s no Waldorf Hotel in Bethlehem, but there’s ‘A Walled-off Hotel’ a popular place in the Christian sector.

Can we imagine that the cattle on a thousand hills are His.

Commentary: One could say that the most precious thing in our life is life itself.  This could be the most precious thing we possess, but what is life? It is just a vapor… James 4:14

The famous comedian Rodney Dangerfield once said, “I am so old, so I do not buy green bananas” But Jesus said… “I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing” John 15: 5 NKJV

Today we have the assurance of the faithfulness of our Lord… “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God”.  Philippians 15: 5

Many spend their Saturday mornings scouting Garage sales and visiting Flea-Markets.
There’re some finds that are amazing pieces, such as…

A $15 neclace found that was worth $300,000. 
Why do we say ‘It’s always ‘junk’ because…?  Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and until you find a willing buyer. Remember this is still not considered a Treasure in Heaven.
being made perfect but becoming defective, you may say we are being insolent by saying you and we are being defective.  Consider these parameters:
1. First if we were ‘Perfect’ then Christ would not have to come and die for our defectiveness as we were already perfect.

2. If we are already perfect, then we make our Lord a liar, as He said all have sinned and fall short of God’s Glory.

3. If you or us can get to heaven on our own, then I, the writer prefers not to go, why? Because all who got there will be bragging of how they did this and did that and how all their good deeds got them there. Life will be miserable listening to these bragging stories.  So, those that die with the most toys do not believe that these trinkets will get you into God’s Kingdom.  There’s only one way…

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 

Since He (Jesus) is the Author and Finisher of our Faith when you seek Him first, therefore; we must know the following important factors for our daily living:

• There can be no half-measure in coming to Him
• He must be Preeminent above all things, cast away all idols*
• You cannot mock God, so let us not do what Jonah did by running away
• Spend quiet time reviewing your life’s event to see why you may follow Him
• Do not live in the past, He said our sins are forgiven and forgotten and removed as the East from the West
• Live by Deeds to give Him the Glory and not by just words
• Finally, don’t be discouraged even in challenging times, know that Jesus is in Control, and He is Faithful, so when you pray, pray that all will be for His Glory and not for His providence to be used for your own pleasure. This is what the bible said.

Remember we cannot ‘test-drive’ being a Christian, you are either for Christ of against Him…

Conclusion: Philippians 4: 4-9   4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, in Jesus we come. Lord as we continue in faith reaching our Visitors let there be just One that will come to know You Lord and be counted among the Joint-Heirs in You Lord Jesus. Lord let Your messages be like ‘Wild-Fire’ spreading across the globe so that your prophecy will be fulfilled as we look to that day Lord when we shall see You as You are. Lord be with our Visitors and us all as we seek Your favors and let what You provide be used for Your Glory. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

No, it is not the day you get the keys to the new house or the new car, or the day you met your spouse, or any other happier times.  It is the day that you are able to receive the utmost gift from the Lord…

Material-Wealth is only useful on earth, but useless in heaven, only His Priceless Gift will last forever

Thoughts for the day:         The Bible is not a history book; it is all about our Messiah

Commentary:  What is the project that you are currently working on?  Each of us have a project in one form or another. It could be to excel in schools, getting good grades, excel in sports, achieving success in the venture that you have started, or just to manage your time, your resources and be comfortable.

God has a plan for each of us as He loves you, and His plans are fully outlined in this Best-Selling book of all times... The Holy Bible!

The Bible provides the answers to many of our everyday challenges…

The Cure for Anxiety is written in Matthew 6: 33

33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

For centuries men have been going on treasure hunts. Prospecting for Gold, mining precious metal and gemstones is a test of one’s patience.  You will read about the one person that found a large nugget or a sizable gemstone, but there are many prospectors that went broke without ever finding anything of worth.

Maybe everyone should spend more time reading the Bible… The Word of God said:

Ezekiel 47:12

Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.”


Hardship can be a treasure:  just like undergoing training. So, look at what we consider adverse situation to be a ‘rehearsal’ for Victory.  The best runners do a lot of training and their discipline will only yield benefit through a regimental training which is voluntary.  The discipline of the Lord is ‘mandatory’ as we all need to know when we get there to thank Him and not have to go back through the re-training.

Good News-Coming to the Lord:

Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…

conceive as future designs. When we look back at those old concept cars, they are totally outdated. Just think that God’s Creation is never out of style nor what He has made for us to be His Kingdom…

The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. Our Lord needs nothing from us, except our Love and in exchange for this He offered Ever-Lasting Life.  What a ‘Gift’

Our Lord is a loving God, but He is also a God of a Consuming Fire…  We need to know this; and because He loves us, He wants only the best for us… What is the best? His Grace and His Love, so why is the Bible saying that the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom?  Because to not fear Him and to continue to sin, we are mocking our Lord.  How would you like to be told by someone that you are a good and reliable person, and behind your back this person slanders you and tells everyone the opposite and say that you are no good and you are not trustworthy?  The person slandering you probably do not fear you nor really loves you, as this ‘friend’ would not be really a friend indeed, rather he is your enemy.

Our Lord wants a ‘Sincere relationship, and sincerity is achieved only by a true relationship without any infidelity or action that will blemish the relationship, in other word let’s not attempt to Mock God, as He said, He will not be mocked… as Vengeance is His.


His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Factually our Lord is not asking for your love because of fear of Him. He said “If we love Him keep His commandments” Just like when He came, He came as a Man and not as a King or as God Incarnate, The angel did make known… Matthew 1: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”
 1 John 3:22 and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.
1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.

As we cope with the daily things in our lives, some are challenging, and some are pleasant to experience.  Despite what we see around us, the growing rate of scoffers, substance abusers, crime and even human-trafficking, these will end on that fateful day, ‘The Day of the Lord’ but through Jesus our Lord we have Victory and He has provided a way for those who trust in Him, know Him and by accepting Him as our Savior, He has laid a way for the Best is yet to come.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord Jesus today as we  bring Your Good News, we thank You for Your Providence and Your guidance.  Lord as we place all in Your hands, we seek Your Divine blessings on our Visitors and Praise You for Your Graciousness.  To You Lord Jesus be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Spend the day enjoying God’s Palette of His Creation, not even Rembrandt compares

Nothing compares to the beauty of God’s Creation.   The Encyclopedia Britannica got it all wrong as their version of the seven wonders of the world, depicted, man’s creation of buildings, statues, pyramids and things made by hands.  What’s so awesome about a cement structure? It doesn’t compare to Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon, not even the blue skies above or the billions of stars, planets in the universe.

God will finish what He has started, and in you His Plan, He will complete…

God will only start goodness in our lives… and the good that He has sown in us He will nurture and bring it to maturity. One may wonder what is that ‘Goodness’ is it always for His own Glory?

Some examples of whom God chose to be blessed with His ‘Goodness’ were not benevolently declared, as in the case of Joseph, whom his brothers sold, and subsequently saved them, or Moses, who God chose to serve the nation of Israel. We see that Job who lived a rich life, suffered the loss of his fortune and health, but; God restored it all and more. In the case of Boaz, who married Ruth and played a part in the lineage of Jesus, all the ‘Goodness’ in these men were guided by the Lord.

So, today as Scripture said…  Philippians 1:6

being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; In Context

History is still been written, what you do today or yet to be done, could be part of tomorrow’s history. You may say that… ‘I play such an insignificant role in the world’ and as such, you may say you cannot make history. An incident like just speaking to your neighbor over the fence, could impact him or her, who I turn tell other of Christ, and your message continues on and reach a hundred and keep growing. This is highly possible, as the beauty of mathematics enlarges the outreach exponentially., if you tell 10 people about Christ in one Month and those ten that heard the message spread it to another 10 at the end of  the 10th month you would have reached 10,240 people in total.

So, don’t procrastinate and start spreading the Joy of the Lord. Layup treasure I heaven…

It is said do not look to sorrows from tomorrow, God said, do not worry about tomorrow…

It is amazing that God trusted us so much that He made us with ‘Free-Will’. God also endowed some of the ‘Poorest’ nation with the most Precious Metal and Gemstones, and the people of these nations continue in poverty because of the exploitation of their resources by fellowmen.   This why we have ‘Blood-Diamond’, ‘Jungle Gold’ and still the greed goes on...

God provided these to be used for Joy and to share among mankind, but as we see Diamonds are used to fuel war and conflicts.

Without God all is lost, the Bible said, when the Gospel is preached in all the land then shall the end comes.

Matthew 24:14

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

For as long as you have been around, it is the belief that the text above about when the ‘End’ will come.  We want to point out that the ‘Gospel’ is the Key Element of this text, and what is the Gospel?  Read on…

The gospel is the good news about what Jesus Christ has done to reconcile sinners to God. Here’s the whole story:

  1. The one and only God, who is holy, made us in his image to know him (Gen. 1:26-28).
  2. But we sinned and cut ourselves off from him (Gen. 3; Rom. 3:23).
  3. In his great love, God sent his Son Jesus to come as King and rescue His people from their enemies—most significantly their own sin (Ps. 2; Luke 1:67-79).
  4. Jesus established His kingdom by acting as both a Mediating Priest and a priestly sacrifice—He live a perfect life and died on the cross, thus fulfilling the law Himself and taking on Himself the punishment for the sins of many (Mark 10:45; John 1:14; Heb. 7:26; Rom. 3:21-26, 5:12-21); then He rose again from the dead, showing that God accepted His sacrifice and that God’s wrath against us had been exhausted (Acts 2:24, Rom. 4:25).
  5. He now calls us to repent of our sins and trust in Christ alone for our forgiveness (Acts 17:30, John 1:12). If we repent of our sins and trust in Christ, we are born again into a new life, an eternal life with God (John 3:16).

Action/Coming to our Lord:

His Time and His plan for us is not ours, and we must trust Him in Faith and come to Jesus to be Assured of being named in the Lamb’s Book of Live, that can never be removed once entered.

Good things will only occur in the ‘Fullness’ of time, by God’s Timing

Galatians 4:4

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, In Context

that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.

It is all by God’s timing, regardless of what we do, we may set timetable of what we will do and even set the dates. But the Will of the Lord is what governs the event. And the greatest event of all times is… the Birth of our Savior Jesus in the fulness of His time He came and was crucified, and Rose triumphantly, and He conquered the evil one, and Redeemed us.

Moses was eighty (80) years old when God chose him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.

So, don’t worry how old you are, and yet the Lord has not asked you to do anything. Guess what? He did….

This is what the Lord has commanded us to do:

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Today as we start a new work week, Mondays are always greeted with apprehension, it was a day that I sort of detested, as it meant leaving the comfort of Home, facing another week at school away from home.

Now Monday is a great day as it is a day that we have Bible Study Fellowship and it is a great time among my peers to share the Word, to hear the testimonies of others and to share the love ️ of Christ.

The Good Life… As we ask… What is the Good Life? It is a Life that is endowed by our Lord as He (Jesus) said He came that we would have an abundant life, and to have it more abundantly.

A visitor came to one of the mission stations in Haiti and said “I came to raid the Mission camp last night, but I had to turn away as the entire camp was surrounded by security patrol… after he told the story to the Relief crew, they told him that they had no security guards, and what he saw was the Angels of the Lord protecting the Camp.  This person was so moved that the God of the Christian Relief was so powerful that he came to the Lord and changed his ways.


Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity… Lord Jesus Messiah, we lift You up on High and give You our Praises and thank You for Your Divine Grace. Lord today we go in Faith knowing that You are interceding for us and that we can look to that day when we shall see You as You are.              Reaffirm His love and share it today.

            You will never be passed over, He sees you and there’s a place for you in God’s plan, to which He will call…

The U.S. Government uses a Merit system to determine competence for job promotions.  The system works well but when the element of cronyism is deployed the person getting the promotion will be moved up while the real person of merit is passed over.

While we do not look down on friendship among us, we will take an example from David’s friendship with Jonathan, the son of King Saul. Saul who sought to kill David because of jealousy od David’s conquest.  David deployed the principle of merit.  He forged a good friendship with Jonathan who himself was a warrior and defeated the philistines.  But when God rejected Saul, David was chosen to be king.

Here we see the ‘Merit’ recognition of David who conquered the philistines by slaying goliath the giant.

David was not passed-over he was chosen to be king… we see the Spirit of the Lord being taken away from Saul who sought to kill David.  The Lord rejected Saul after he disobeyed the Lord’s instruction against Amalekites. The Lord did not ‘Passed-him over’ for David, but mocking the Lord is something that no one gets away with.

Samuel anointed David and made him King… Because of Saul’s sin he was deposed as king.  David was pursued by Saul who wanted to kill David, but in his quest to kill David, he fell into David’s snare and twice David could have killed Saul, but David spared Saul’s life.   The tragic end of a sovereign reign for Saul ended by taking his own life.

Today, as we look at what occurred with Saul, he grew arrogant, he relied on his own self and went against God’s order.  This brings us to the Verse of the day…

Just think we are NOT redeemed by Silver or Gold, but by the Blood of Christ, He gave us a pedigree that is so high it cannot be bred, bought or created by any genetic engineering. Only by His Blood of Atonement we are ‘Sealed’ with Life-Everlasting to be in His Kingdom.

Action/Coming to our Lord:  Come to our Lord Jesus and experience His Un-Conditional Love and invite Jesus into your heart and you will be saved.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus you said no one come to the Father unless through You Lord.  Lord we affirm Your Sovereignty Lord Jesus as all things were made by You and for You and without You Lord there is nothing made. Lord as we end this day, we place all in Your Holy hands and seek Your blessing as we look to a new dawn to be renewed in your Holy Spirit.
