Know this… Standing in the presence of the Lord? Yes, we are always visible to Him, He sees all out actions.

As we stand or kneeling or even lying in a hospital bed, we are always visible to the Lord. He also hears us.

So today as we travel, work, or resting and especially when we meditate we must be aware that…

Hebrews 12:1

The Race of Faith] Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

In Context

Each of us are in the presence of the Lord, just like when Jesus told Nathanael..

“How do you know me?” Nathanael asked. Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.” Then Nathanael declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel.” Jesus said, “You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that.” He then added, “Very truly I tell you, you will see ‘heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on’ the Son of Man.” John 1:48-51 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=John%201:48-51&version=NIV

Are you ready to see the heaven opened? Ready to see the Son Of Man descending? With world events in a state of disarray, most are not ready or ever given a though of this.

For eons people have waited on the return of the Lord, and the wait may have made many complacent. Will Tomorrow be another day, or could it be the big-Day? Sometimes in Florida the usual answer is… just another day in paradise. Really, the day could be real paradise, as the Lord said…

in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

1 Corinthians 15:52 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=1%20Corinthians%2015:52&version=NIV

The event described above will be the transitioned to the real paradise.

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=1%20Thessalonians%204:16-17&version=NIV

Jesus is the Anointed Son, we were taught in Sunday’s school that Jesus is the Son of God, then even right now, for us that do not know our Lord, will say, how can God have a Son and He wasn’t married?  We must remember that we are finite in our thinking ability and our life span, and only God is Infinite, God knew our limited capability, so He spoke to us using Metaphor or narrated His message using simple analogy to convey the scope of His thinking to us whom He created.

In the Bible there are many Parables and description of His Messages, example, the Vine and the Branches, The Lamb of God, and many others, but one of His most profound statement made publicly was when Jesus said in His Kingdom there are many Mansion, and: “IF” He go and prepare a place for “YOU” He will come and get you so that where He is You can also be… This is oftentimes taken as a ‘Security-Blanket’ and this is to be translated by the Context of “IF & “YOU”, why, because His statement was a conditional statement with a Caveat that IF You received Him and trusted in Faith, He would go, and YOU would be a Beneficiary, on the flip side if you did not believe then He was not going on your behalf.

The Bible teaches that when we receive Him (Jesus Christ) we are saved and He will never … let us be lost;

 2 Timothy 1:7  (NIV)

7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

But Falling away after coming and receiving Him is an insult to our Lord and will face penalty and turning from your Faith will face judgment, but those that are in Him shall be in a Place of Splendor… Our Lord told the repented thief on the cross... “Today you will be with me in Paradise ’” What a glorious promise.

Let’s use today to be renewed as we stand in the presence of the Lord. You do not have to bring anything other than yourself. And while we are waiting tell others about Jesus and His saving grace.

Heavenly Father we come, Lord Jesus thank You for Your saving grace, and as we seek You and by Your righteousness we are made whole to be in the presence of the Father, we thank You Lord for Your graciousness. Thank You Lord for our Visitors as we ask Your Divine blessings on us all. To You be the power and the glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday:  May 30, 2018

Our weakness is backed by the strength of the Lord… go boldly and be triumphant in victory…

What is your weakness?  Finding the weakest link in the chain is the best thing to do before you start using the chain.

The weakest link in the supply chain are the people? The human factor is impacted by AI (artificial intelligence) creating sort of the ‘weakest-link’.  In the case of deploying the ‘Predator-drones’ manned by humans, the long hours and the tactical stresses are sometimes more than what the programmer-operator-pilots can take, pointing to the weakest link.

Maybe our weakest link will be ‘Sin’… but ‘Weakness’ is not a sin. As we wrote; Temptation is not a sin, it becomes a sin when we indulge…

Contemporary teaching has tempered the wages of Sin… guess what? The wages of sin is still death!

In the realms of our Lord nothing has changed, He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow… So when we are told our Lord is a God of Love and a Forgiving God, do not take this for granted.  This message applies to us all, no one is immune to temptation, and temptation is not a sin, but when we yield to the temptation, then we have committed a sin.

Our Lord said we are to forgive not just seven time but seventy-times seven, this adds up to 490 times.  In our live time we will commit thousands of sins. Using an average of 80 Years we will account for 170,528,000 hours being awake, (16 Hours / day) when we look at the brevity of life the average lifetime using 80 Years will add up to 29,200 days. The reality of our journey through this world is not a lot of time. The beauty of mathematics it reveals many things that we can do.

The exercise above is to demonstrate if we can afford to give a child a $1000 in a trust fund with a yield of 6% compounded, for 65 years, this will mature to $441,449 when retired.  But what will this buy? Maybe pay the utility bill for a month in the year 2077 or buy a shopping cart of groceries?

The exercise also is showing that the future is not a too sure thing regardless of what we do or plan, but in Christ we have His Security… as all things work for Good to those that loves Him.

The caption today is a very harsh reality, that to intentionally sin we have a major confrontation with our Lord, while He is a Loving God, the Bible also said that our Lord is a God of Consuming Fire… and the Scriptures said to continue sinning there will be no more Sacrifice for us. As we have continued to put our Lord Jesus back on the Cross…

Text: Deuteronomy 4:24
For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Text: Hebrews 10:26
If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Romans 3:25
God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—

So taking into consideration that all of what we have accumulated as material things, will be of zero value in His Kingdom, therefore, using our 170,528,000 Hours (our awake time) to Praise our Lord, abide by His Precepts and to follow His command of spreading His Good News so that others will know our Lord too, then we are laying up treasures in Heaven, While doing these we know that it is only by His Grace that we are saved and not of what we do.

The above is an example of the patience of our Lord, and because of His Majestic-Glory He did not need to expose His

“Power” He expressed His ‘LOVE”.  But this same Christ who is God Incarnate will also be a God of a Consuming Fire on that day.  But in Christ we have His Covenant and in Him there is no condemnation of those He has made Joint-Heirs.

Prayer: Lord we look up to You our Sovereign Eternal God, Your strength was covered by Your Humbleness and mankind has demonstrated our weakness by exalting ourselves while You the Most High allowed us to ultimately be realized that we can do nothing and in all things, we need You Lord. Lord we thank You for the many blessings and we come giving You our Praises. Lord bless our Visitors and grant each one Your Peace and for Your Coming Lord to redeem us. We give You the Glory and Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday: May 29th, 2018

Do this….  Avoiding Temptations, just say…” Lord I feel Your Presence, rebuke the tempter in Your Holy Name”

No one is immune to temptations… Even Jesus was tempted, yet; He did not partake.  He rebuked the evil one…

Temptation comes in many forms…

God gave us the freedom of choice, but are we mature enough and strong enough to resist the temptations and make the right choices?

Text:  Matthew 26: 41 Watch and Pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing (To resist the temptation) but the flesh is weak.

Commentary: Consider that our Creator created man and woman and gave us dominion over all living things. Consider the enormity of Plant Life, Animals, and all species of Aquatic life, Birds and even to the smallest ant. And as we speak about Ants, this specie that builds their little kingdom with the hierarchy of a Queen and an army of workers. The same applies to the Bees that form colonies and is governed by a form of hierarchy, The Bees also has ‘Drone’ these are the male Bees that mate with new Queen. They serve one single purpose of carrying on the specie.  Bees die after they string, and the Male Drone dies immediately after they mate with the new Queen, they mate in the air and right after consummation, they fall to the ground.  Not only do they die after consummating, after they have performed their duties, they are kicked out of the hive and not allowed back in.

Look at how God loves us, He gave us dominion over all living things, He gave us freedom, but we squandered the Paradise that he made for us, so as Adam & Eve were ‘evicted from Eden’ we are here today having to be employed or to employ and generate an income to meet our needs.

A well-known quote from an anonymous writer said… We do not choose to be born. We do not choose our parents. We do not choose our historical epoch, the country of our birth, or the immediate circumstances of our upbringing. We do not, most of us, choose to die; nor do we choose the time and conditions of our death. But within this realm of choicelessness, we do choose how we live. – unknown

God said we should also choose how we live…

Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Matthew 6:24

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Isaiah 53:5-6 (NASB)

But He was pierced through for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our iniquities;
The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,
And by His scourging we are healed.
All of us like sheep have gone astray,
Each of us has turned to his own way;
But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all
To fall on Him.

Principle: Romans 5: 8  (NASB)

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Colossians 2:9-10 (NASB) 9 For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, 10 and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;

Conclusion: We have been saying the Bible is all about Jesus, from day one to the end, Why? No one has ever seen God, Abraham and Jacob said they saw God,  God is represented by His Son Yeshua-Jesus, so wherever there is a reference to God being present, this is a reference to Jesus.

The Father (God) sent His Son Jesus, who became God Incarnate and the scriptures state that Jesus is Supreme, and all things were made by Him (Jesus) and with Jesus there was nothing made, and He Jesus holds all things together. Jesus came as our Passover Lamb to save us from eternal damnation, why, because we were created in His likeness and He will never die, and so will we. But it is appointed unto man once to die and after this the judgment. Therefore, if we will be around for the judgment then we really never died. Our physical bodies will die but our Soul lives on, and on that day we will have celestial bodies like our Lord.  Jesus said He was not of this world and where He is all those in Him will be with Him where He is.

To come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him… Pray: Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, I come and repent of my sin by receiving Your Priceless Gift through Your Blood of Atonement, I invite You Lord to come into my heart and make me a new creation by your Grace. Lord I commit my self to You Lord and ask Your Holy Spirit to be with me from henceforth, To You Lord is the Power and the Glory forevermore… Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as we bring Your Good News of Salvation to many, we seek Your blessings on our Visitors and Lord remove the scales from our eyes, and lead us to Green Pastures and Your Still Water of Life. We Praise You Lord and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday: May 28th, 2018

Give thanks to…  God gave us a land of Milk and Honey… the many benefits of pure-honey…

Honey… While excavating Egypt’s famous pyramids, archaeologists have found pots of honey in an ancient tomb.

The honey, dating back approximately 3,000 years, is the world’s oldest sample – and still perfectly edible.

The secret behind honey’s eternal shelf life is a range of factors. Hydrogen peroxide, acidity and lack of water work together to make this sticky substance last forever.

Today’s devotional is more like a report. But, the reason for this is to reflect on the gracious gifts from God of Milk and Honey…

Milk is one of the best sources of calcium for the body. Milk is filled with Vitamin D that helps the body absorbcalcium. Proper calcium intake contributes to strong and healthy bones. Drinking milk provides other benefits such as healthy teeth, rehydration and improves vitamin intake.

Many benefits from Honey:

1. Anti-Microbial

Honey has been long used to treat cuts and burns in traditional medicine. A lack of the scientific method at that time meant that honey’s usefulness was recognized through trial and error. The longevity of its use and the variety of cultures contained within honey should be some indication of its potency.

According to a study, honey has properties that inhibit around 60-species of bacteria. Honey has been proved effective against Staph and MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureu) infections.

2. Anti-Inflammatory

Beyond traditional medicine, the Russians and the Germans used honey extensively during WWI to treat ulcers, boils, and other inflammatory conditions. Its use for treating ulceration’s following carcinoma surgeries is also well documented.

3. Insulin Production in Diabetics

There is no substitute for monitoring blood sugar levels and insulin injections for individuals with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. However, honey has shown to have value. It can be useful as a cane sugar replacement in coffee, tea, and other applications where sweetness is desired.

4. Anti-Fungal

The prevalence and frequency of Candida infections worldwide is growing, with infections proving to have a high resistance to conventional drugs. Honey may be the answer. A 2006 article published in Medical Mycology noted that honey has significant anti-fungal properties against a variety of Candida species.

5. Treatment for Certain Eye Conditions

Once again, the prospect of using honey to treat ocular problems seems a little far-fetched and messy. However, the sticky substance proves a very common treatment worldwide for conditions—such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, corneal injuries, chemical, and thermal burns.

7. Cancer Prevention

Research continues the benefits of honey in the fight against cancer. However, preliminary results indicate that the sticky stuff may be an important weapon. Honey naturally contains the same compounds used in expensive, artificially produced drugs for cancer treatment.

As noted in the book, Honey Revolution, by Dr. Ron Fessenden, honey contains floral-flavonoids, which have caught the attention of the pharmaceutical industry. These compounds have been effective in removing free radicals and increasing the body’s immune defenses.

Warning: Honey is not recommended for those under one year of age…

Information contained here is not to be taken as a health resource, always consult a physician before starting any regiment.

The Faithfulness of God… Exodus 3:8

So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, .In Context |

Avoid what many did…

Deuteronomy 31:20

When I have brought them to the land flowing with milk and honey, of which I swore to their fathers, and they have eaten and filled themselves and grown fat, then they will turn to other gods and serve them; and they will provoke Me and break My covenant. In Context | Full Chapter

Remember this…

Romans 11:33-36 (NKJV) Doxology…

33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!  34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has become His counselor?”
35 “Or who has first given to Him
And it shall be repaid to him?”

36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and savior we come… Lord Jesus as we reflect on the honey found in the tomb, placed 3,000 years ago and still edible, it is in Awe that we reflect on Your Graciousness and knowing that You Lord Jesus was before Abraham and was there at the beginning, knowing that all things were created by you. Thank You Lord Jesus for Your Supremacy and yet You came to redeem us. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and seek Your Divine blessings on us all, to You Jesus Messiah… is the Power and the Glory now and forever.  Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday:  May 27th, 2018

Do this…  Let our Praise be filled with ‘Reverence’…  Is God hearing the ‘Rock Concert’ or the Liturgist- Praise sung by the congregations?

A thousand voices… Psalm 96 [Full Chapter]

A Song of Praise to God Coming in Judgment ] Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! Sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples...

Ephesians 5:19

19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, In Context |

Our weekly church  service is so ‘routine’ but above this, if the worship lacks liturgy then it is an ‘empty’ praise.

Liturgy means… ‘work of the people’, somewhat in Unisom of praise.

So, let us apply the ‘Oneness’ in Christ, to be a part of the Praise rather than be standing and listening to a song that has never been heard.

Reverence is a feeling of deep respect or awe — like what you have for a president, a hero, or a favorite football player. Reverence can be a feeling of awe, and it can also describe how you treat someone,

Let extend our reverence of ‘Love’ and of ‘respect’ to the Lord. Sing your praises and give God the Glory.  Applauding at the end of the performance is to be reserved as giving God the Glory not to the performer for the performance.

So, applauding in church is to the Lord, and not for the rendition by the performer.

Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 New King James Version (NKJV)

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 1:7 New King James Version (NKJV)

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Come to our Lord today as He knew you even before you were born, and in Jesus you will be complete.

Philippians 1:6 New King James Version (NKJV)

being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ

Faith is one of the most intangible elements… but Jesus said; ‘If we have Faith like a Mustard Seed, we can move mountains… Matthew 17:20

So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
Matthew 17:19-21 (in Context) Matthew 17 (Whole Chapter)

Imagine that our Lord said, if we have Faith as a Mustard seed, nothing will be impossible.  Just think if man knew how to apply the full power of Faith as described by Jesus, man would not be able to contain this power against his fellow men… but our Lord did make the power of Faith available to each of us, this is the Faith “in-HIM’ and as we trust in Him, and His Word said we will have Life-Everlasting, then at the right time, when life ceases on earth for us, the power of Faith is super-naturally released allowing all believers to transition to Him in the twinkling of an eye.

Prayer: Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus in awe we come knowing that all things were created by You as The Father Spoke and You acted in His Holy Spirit. Lord today we come to You seeking Your Divine Blessings and Your guidance, as we say that Your Hands are ‘Over’ us, and not just in what we do, as You Lord do not need help, so we place all things in Your Hands and look to You knowing that all things are possible for those who trust in You Lord. Lord Your Unconditional love abounds in what You have created for mankind, Lord today let us be good-stewards of Your mission and bless our Visitors coming to this Website. We pray in Your Precious Name Lord Jesus, to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

While we are…  Travelling the road of life, do you see the ‘Markers’ to His Kingdom?

Jesus revealed the key-markers for the journey.  He even ‘enhanced’ our abilities and gave us His Divine blessings.

These are what we received…

The Faithful promise of our Lord: Jesus said…

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. In Context John 10:10

The ‘Secret’ to security in Him: Matthew 6:33

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. In Context

Let’s analyse what Jesus said above… ‘and all these ‘Things’ shall be added to you ‘As-well’

Here’s what we gained from Jesus’ statement.  When you seek Him because He is Righteous, you will get to His Kingdom.

You may say, it’s so-easy to say the above, how can I know that I have been ‘given’ the rights to His Kingdom?  And when do I receive it?. Read on

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 [Full Chapter]

We must have unwavering faith in Him… Hebrews 10:23

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. In Context

This is Jesus’ enhancement made available to us… So, Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:20 In Context

Do you believe the above? And especially Jesus’ statement of…  “and nothing will be impossible for you”.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. In Context |

What is the greatest achievement you would like to achieve? Let’s hope it is not to win the lotto, because a third of lottery winners declare bankruptcy—meaning they were worse off than before they became rich.

Let’s hope it is to receive ever-lasting Joy in the Lord… because Joy is eternal, and temporary happiness (like winning the lotto) will not last.  Statistics have proven that many lotto winners are prone to depressions, drug addictions, etc.

So, today, follow the ‘Light’ and Jesus is the Light… His Light will reflect through you and we are all the shining-light on the hill.

Jesus is the Light of the World and His Kingdom is Forever…

His Creation is above man’s comprehension, as many are trying to bring the evolutionist theory into the school curriculum, our take on Evolution is; if evolution was a fact, then why is the ape that is in the Zoo for almost 35-40 years still sitting in his cage? If evolution was a fact, this old guy would be out driving around in his new Mercedes-Benz.

Are we to assume that evolution is like the ‘Singing’ Frog, the story of the man excavating the foundation for a news building, he came across a box, he opened it and there was a Frog that started to sing like Al Jolson… so he figured he could make a lot of money by putting this Frog on stage, but each time he had a sold out theater, the frog would not sing, but right after refunding the patrons’ money, the Frog started to sing, he repeated this until he was broke, the moral of the story here, never believe in a Frog doing more than just croaking….  The same for the storyline of the evolutionists.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity we come thanking you and giving You our Praises for in You we have Victory. Lord we bring You our burdens which are many for our Brothers and Sisters, our Government leaders, our Pastors and those in foreign land that are oppressed and persecuted Lord. You have promised Your Divine protection as their battle will be won because You will never leave us nor forsake us. Lord let Your servants be equipped as in faith as we proceed knowing that You are the Author and Finisher of their Faith. Lord bless our Visitors and grant them Your Favors. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

God gave us permission to ‘Boast’ but it was with conditions…

Jeremiah 9:24, we read: "'But let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,' declares the Lord."

Do this…    Love ️ of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom… Gain your share of wisdom, use it for God’s Glory…

Imagine a world without War, Hunger, crime and a wholesome society filled with wholesome people… where is it?

All that Glitter is not Gold…Measure twice and cut once, look before you leap, Stop Look & Listen

Think on this        : Of all the warning given to us, the best is; the fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

TEXT:                       Psalm 111:10

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever. In Context | Full Chapter |

Wisdom could be considered more valuable than gold, it is said that the person with the gold makes the ‘golden’ rules. So, the rules are from God as all the gold belongs to him, but as we read in Revelation, this precious metal will be used as ‘brick-pavers’ for the streets of Heaven.

Without God all is lost, the Bible said, when the Gospel is preached in all the land then shall the end comes.

Matthew 24:14

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

One of the question that we all have… will those that are dying in the jungle that never heard the gospel be sent to hell?  This is our take on this subject and we invite our readers to submit their comments by email.

We believe of their un-enlightened state never ever hearing about Christ and never rejecting Him, God is merciful and like a new born baby that died, this child will be in God’s Kingdom, why? Not being enlightened. It is when you have heard the Gospel and rejected Christ then there will be eternal damnation.

For as long as you have been around, it is the belief that the text above about when the ‘End’ will come, is subject to every living soul must be reached with the Gospel before The Lord returns… We want to point out that the ‘Gospel’ is the Key Element of this text, and what is the Gospel?  Read on…

The gospel is the good news about what Jesus Christ has done to reconcile sinners to God. Here’s the whole story:

  1. The one and only God, who is holy, made us in his image to know him (Gen. 1:26-28).
  2. But we sinned and cut ourselves off from him (Gen. 3Rom. 3:23).
  3. In his great love, God sent his Son Jesus to come as king and rescue his people from their enemies—most significantly their own sin (Ps. 2Luke 1:67-79).
  4. Jesus established his kingdom by acting as both a mediating priest and a priestly sacrifice—he live a perfect life and died on the cross, thus fulfilling the law himself and taking on himself the punishment for the sins of many (Mark 10:45John 1:14Heb. 7:26Rom. 3:21-265:12-21); then he rose again from the dead, showing that God accepted his sacrifice and that God’s wrath against us had been exhausted (Acts 2:24Rom. 4:25).
  5. He now calls us to repent of our sins and trust in Christ alone for our forgiveness (Acts 17:30John 1:12). If we repent of our sins and trust in Christ, we are born again into a new life, an eternal life with God (John 3:16).

The answer how can we receive His Salvation so that I can be in another place other than the perpetual state of dying?

Jesus came, and he Redeemed us from the Condemnation, and though His GRACE, by His Blood of Atonement we have His Invitation to Receive His Grace so that we will be saved by accepting Him as our Redeemer.

His Faithfulness:

God placed us here to enjoy the worship of him and the intimacy of his love for us. This is the big joy that he gave us so forget the short term pitfall disguised as entertainment 2: God named his creation i.e. Light, the expanse Sky, and he separated the darkness from light and the water from dry land. God blesses His living beings, God gave us lordship over all living things and dominion over earth

Prayer: Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus in awe we come knowing that all things were created by You as The Father Spoke and You acted in His Holy Spirit. Lord today we come to You seeking Your Divine Blessings and Your guidance.   We place all things in Your Hands and look to You knowing that all things are possible for those who trust in You Lord. Text:  1 Thessalonians 5: 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Commentary: The Apostle Paul we would say is a man called to be a Saint. He served our Lord faithfully, yet Paul said…  Romans 7:24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?

Here we see Paul writing to the Romans about his personal experience, we all face the challenges of what Paul mentioned…

Covetousness, the deception of sins, sin over-powering the commandment that causes death, but Paul went on and said…24

What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!

Remember if you love the Lord you will Praise Him, adore Him and follow Him, do this as Jesus said, John 15:15

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter |

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Devotionals for Wednesday: May 23, 2018

Can you recall on whom you made an impact, and how it changed that person life? Take no credit…

As we say ‘Take no credit’ leading someone to Christ is by the Holy Spirit…

This is a real event…. For years one of our member in our Bible study group always responded to our request to come to Christ, by saying “I am not ready”. The dilemma was; here’s a member in attendance for the 10th year, knowledgeable and well versed in the scriptures, but he was never ready to take that step of accepting Christ.

Last summer I prayed about this before attending the study, as we begun, I stood up and said… ‘This is the hour, the Holy Spirit is among us, and I am asking John to stand among us and we will come to the Lord” John made his pledge, accepted Christ, as I prayed and declared the Holy Spirt to be on us all and brought John home to the Kingdom.

Each of us can be a ‘helper’ doing our part as we are commissioned to serve, and to confess Christ as our Redeemer.

Do not make the “Cure” that cures all the ‘Best Kept-Secret’… Share it and make it known…

What stops you from sharing the Good News?

51% of Christians say it is ‘Fear’. Is it because we are selfish, or lacks knowledge, it cannot be a lack of knowledge… see why by reading on.

Luke 2:11 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

11 for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Commentary: Again, we ask if you knew the cure for a catastrophic illness and did not share this with your loved ones or the public, are you being selfish? The Gospel of Luke and the book of Acts is also written by Dr. Luke. Luke a Physician and he is the only Non-Jew writer in the New Testament. Luke was a historian, his writing is methodical and the events recorded by Luke are factual.

Luke carefully documented Jesus and the Father, the Crucifixion and Jesus’ Resurrection ending with Jesus’ Ascension… The Three books of:  Matthew, Mark & Luke known as the Synoptic Gospels.  Luke documented the appearance of Jesus after His resurrection from the grave nine (9) times while Matthew recorded three appearances, Mark 5 times, and John 5 times.

Luke’s account of the events in the book of Acts was a comprehensive account of the Birth of Christ, Jesus’ ministry and Christ’s resurrection, the day of Pentecost, Phillip’s ministry and Saul’s conversion. A greater portion of the Acts is dedicated to Paul’s ministry, the establishment of the Gentile Church in Antioch.

As we see the dedication of Luke that our Lord prepared as the apostle to the Gentile, Luke fulfilled the mission by affirming the event coming from a learned scholar, versus a fisherman of a Tax collector. Luke’s account written with full conviction of ‘Witnessing’ for the Lord is a key to telling us of Jesus’ commission to bring the Good News to the ends of the earth.

Luke 2:30

For my eyes have seen Your salvation

Luke 1:33

33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.”

The message of Luke is focused on reaching the Gentiles as he explained…

  1. Put your faith in Jesus
  2. To build on the Witness of history (Luke being a witness to Christ’s
  3. To know that our Lord forgives sins
  4. Jesus came that we would have a new life in the Kingdom of God

Joy and Contentment

Luke urged the following:

  1. Get involved in spreading the Good News of the Kingdom
  2. Imitate Jesus’ love for all
  3. Pray as Jesus taught
  4. Make God’s kingdom your clear priority

Luke 24:47

and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Luke 4:18 [Full Chapter]

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,

Coming to our Lord: Come to our Lord Jesus:

 Romans 16:25

Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past,

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord thank You for Your Power that works within us as Your Word declares. Lord as we come in Your Holy Presence we are in Awe that You would love us. Lord thank You for choosing men like Luke to have brought Your Ministry to the world, and Lord just as You did in choosing Saul, we are encouraged that we here today will yield to You as we look to You Lord Jesus as the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Lord we thank You for this privilege of serving You and we thank You for our Visitors for Your Glory. Lord we commit all to You and we seek Your Divine guidance and Your Providence to each of us Lord. We pray in your precious Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Know this:   Fear nothing… Because the weapon of the Lord exceeds whatever the enemy may have…

Focus:  Modern weapons still cannot compare to what God gave the Israelites for the wall of Jericho.

All the talk of Nuclear weapons, Iran, and North Korea and others, nothing compares to what God gave the Israelites in conquering Jericho.  Watch for… The ‘Trojan-Horse’ it is not a weapon, but it is an ingenious decoy that can make an invasion possible.

The Battle is the Lord’s …

TEXT: 1 Samuel 17:47

Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.” In Context | Full Chapter

His Faithfulness:

Jeremiah 29:10-12 New King James Version (NKJV)

10 For thus says the Lord: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place. 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

Coming to The Lord:

The Good News aside from the doom and gloom news… no one knows God’s plan and even during the 70 years of the Israelites being in bondage in Babylon, there was a Persian (Iranian) king named Cyrus that brought them out of captivity. So even if Iran continues with its nuclear program, there could be a new King Cyrus that will befriend Israel.

So, let us also know that God said… Isaiah 54:17

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.

The Good News: What is the Good News? The Good News of all time, regardless of History, factually it is the Greatest News ever in History.  This is the Good News 2,015 Years Ago, the Angel of the Lord came and said…

"Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people."

Text:  Colossians 1:  15- 18   He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Can you recall the last Good News you heard?  If you are a Pre-Baby Boomer then the end of the war would be good news to you, and for Baby Boomers the end of Vietnam conflict. But these ‘Good-News’ were just temporary as one ended then another started, and right now there are ‘Wars’ and ‘Conflicts’ ranging all over the globe.  What is the chief reason for conflicts? The word is ‘Human’, and all wars should be re-named Human Conflicts.

So let us spread the Real Good News Today… our Redeemer Lives!

Remember Jesus said…” I am not of this world’

John 8:23
And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.
John 8:22-24 (in Context) John 8 (Whole Chapter)

Our Lord also described His Kingdom as ‘Paradise’  This is the Key Element of His Good News, but now the Chief Factor of His Good News… The Chief Factor of His Good News is… He came to give Life and for us to have it more Abundantly…

John 10:10
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 10:9-11 (in Context) John 10 (Whole Chapter)

Recalling…   Who made the most impact in your walk? Remember it was a gift, treasure it and share it.

Many of us did not have the Damascus-Road experience like Saul…

Acts 9:1-2

Saul’s Conversion

Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”

Acts 9:3

As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.

In Context

Acts 9:8

Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus. In Context

Jesus had the most impact on Saul as he was selected to be the ‘Vessel’ of Christ…

For each of us… how is your ‘walk’ with Christ? Look back and reason with yourselves; am I walking with the Lord?

Back in Sunday School, the little chorus, ‘Jesus loves me this I know’ and the gospel favorite of John 3: 16 contributed to the growth of many Christians in their formative years.  Even today, these two-fundamental cornerstones of Christianity prevail as nothing is truer than what we know… Jesus loves ‘Me’ and God loved us so much that He sent Jesus to redeem us.

As we say… Jesus made more impact on us. Maybe some of us may need the Damascus-Road experience to be shaken to come to Christ.  But, Jesus said, come unto to Him, as His yoke is easy, and we are no longer servants but His ‘Friends’

John 15:15

I no longer call you servants, because a does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter |

It is Awe that we can be a ‘Friend’ of the Lord, the Supreme-Sovereign Son who is God in One of the Father.

Let us praise the Lord as only He is Holy, and let us do as he said… Matthew 11:30

29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.,  Lord Jesus thank You for Your Righteousness and Your Redeeming Grace.  Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we give You Preeminence in our lives. Lord bless this new week and grant us Your favors. We pray in Your Holy Name to You is the Power and the Glory Lord Jesus-Messiah.  Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday: May 20, 2018

Remember…   Today is the day of Pentecost… The Holy Spirit descended. Find it, or let it find you…

This is the day set aside to commemorate the event when the Holy Spirit descended.  It was also a day of Salvation when Peter preached and over three thousand came to Christ. See Verse 40 of Acts 2.

Today we see large crusades in areas and stadiums, but nothing compares to the eventful day when the Holy Spirit descended upon those that were gathered. Among them were Egyptians, Arabs, Libyans, Romans, Jews, Partians (natives of Iran, formerly known as Persia) and many from Judea and surrounding regions.

As we revisit the event of Pentecost recorded in the Acts of the Apostles. The Book of ACTS was written by LUKE who was a physician and an Apostle; written around AD 63, this was 63 years after the Birth of Christ and 33 years after Christ was Crucified.

Pentecost comes 50 days after Easter, Easter is the 2nd most important event ever recorded in the history of mankind. Easter commemorates the Resurrection of Jesus that triumphantly rose from the grave, and Divinely Ascended 40 days after His Resurrection. (The 1st most important event in mankind’s history was the Virgin Birth of our Lord Jesus, the 3rd most important was the Ascension of Jesus into Heaven.) The Bible went on to say that Jesus will return, we will cover this subject next week.

Pentecost is the manifestation of the Holy Spirit that Jesus said He would send from His father…

John 15:26  Amplified Bible
But when the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) comes, Whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth Who comes (proceeds) from the Father, He [Himself] will testify regarding Me.

Read the text below in Acts 2: Verse 5-12 and see how the Holy Spirit touched those present and filled them all with the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2

The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost

2: 1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. Utterly amazed, they asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language?Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontusand Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome 11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” 12 Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”

13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.”

Peter Addresses the Crowd

14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say.

15 These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! 16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

17 “‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
    and they will prophesy.
19 I will show wonders in the heavens above
and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20 The sun will be turned to darkness
    and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
21 And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

22 “Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. 23 This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. 24 But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. 25 David said about him:

“‘I saw the Lord always before me.
Because he is at my right hand,
    I will not be shaken.
26 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest in hope,
27 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
you will not let your holy one see decay.
28 You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence.’

29 “Fellow Israelites, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day. 30 But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne. 31 Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay. 32 God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it. 33 Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear. 34 For David did not ascend to heaven, and yet he said,

“‘The Lord said to my Lord:
    “Sit at my right hand
35 until I make your enemies
    a footstool for your feet.”’

36 “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”

37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off —for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.”

41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.

Conclusion: Today we look at a world that is so separated by man’s greed and exploitation. Syria (Antioch) is known to have been the birth place of the Church of Christianity in the city of Antioch.  As we see a divided world of Moslems, Jews, Christians and other beliefs of Buddhism and others, we have a world that has drifted apart from God with their own agenda to dominate their regions and to expand their religion on a global basis. Notice the word used is “Religion” Religion is not Salvation, only Jesus Christ represents Salvation as Jesus is the only one that Died for our Sins. No one else died for others, except Jesus who made the Sacrifice to Redeem us from Sin.

Watch for… The DAY OF THE LORD… This is the day when our Lord will return, but the prelude to the Day of the Lord will be the Rapture… there will be the Sound of the Trumpet, but not everyone will hear it, only those in Christ will hear it.

Let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus that Paid It All… Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions and where You are we will be. Lord,  today let Your Holy Spirit be with our Visitors and us all as we pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday:  May 19, 2018

Memo…  Wash the car but do not adore it, it is just a means of transport, Focus of the provider, not the car…

Un-Claimed Gifts… The deed in the Bible.  Your Gift is provided open the Book and find it…

Focus: Do you like surprises? A gift is not a gift if you expect it to be a ‘given’ to receive the family homestead left by your parents, it is sort of a gift, but it is really an ‘inheritance’.  A gift is something that you are not entitled to but may be granted because you did ‘ask’ for it.

We are repeating the story of the son that was given the gift that he wanted, but his arrogance did not allow him to find it.

We wrote about the story of the son that was asked by his dad, “Son what would you like for your graduation?” he replied, I liked the car I have seen in the dealer’s showroom, came graduation day and he came home to find a Bible with a ribbon, but no car in the driveway he reacted by walking out and leaving home. Several years later he was called home as his Dad was gravely ill, he arrived home too late. Later in the afternoon he wondered into his old bedroom and (everything was still intact just as the day he left home) he saw the Bible, picked it up and opened it, inside was a card and a gift certificate to the car that he had chosen.  This is a tragic story for a young man that missed the love of his father.

Many like this young man are doing the same to our Heavenly Father, as His “Gift” is in Jesus His Son that we often take for granted…  The analogy of the above, is; Jesus came so that we may have life and more abundantly.  We spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping and the rest of the time awake, we probably spend the remaining 2/3 learning if we are students or working if we are adults.  The similarity to the unfortunate story of the young man that missed his dad’s love; and a lifetime of friendship lost due to ‘arrogance’ but in our case, it may be the pursuit of making a living, or simply just existing.

Jesus said…

John 10:10 (NKJV)

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Just like the Youngman that passed on the Bible, many are passing on receiving Jesus who said in Him there is Life Everlasting, and even now while we journey home to His Kingdom, He can give us an Abundant life while we face the challenges of this world...

Not having the trust of your child would be a low point in anyone’s life, so are we placing our trust in our Father Creator?  If not consider the feeling that you would have not having the trust of your kids, and our Heavenly Father’s feeling of you not trusting HIM. So today our focus is on the ‘Giver’ and not what is given, but the Gift from our Lord is Priceless and Eternal, because He want us to have an Eternal-Life with Him. The text above said it all… and He will give you His providence, Delight yourself in the Lord, commit your ways to Him and Trust Him and He will do it.

His Promise: 2 Peter 1:4 (NIV)

4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

His Faithfulness:

Jesus is our Protector, our Redeemer, our Intercessor and above all He Redeemed us by His Blood.  Why is ‘Blood’ important in a Sacrifice? Because … Hebrews 9:7

But only the high priest entered the inner room, and that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.

Hebrews 9:6-8

Blood is mentioned in the bible 447 time in the KJV. Blood is life giving…

No one can come to the Father unless they come to Jesus… You could be the wealthiest person on planet Earth, or just an ordinary person (of which most us are) we will concur on what King Solomon said in Ecclesiastes.  Solomon talked about the illustration of Vanity, the theme was; the Vanity of striving after pleasure.

After great wealth, wisdom and even humility; Solomon’s confirmation that wealth does not satisfy, He also taught that Wealth brings difficulties, and his focused on the strength of Wisdom. Solomon preached about God who predetermines the condition of life, and that God Judges all.

Coming to our Lord:

Our focus today was... to focus on the Giver and not on what is Given.

Our Lord who gives us Life-Eternal life through His Grace (Grace is something that is ‘UN-Merited’) and by Faith … (Faith is believing in Something that is UN-Seen) by these two factors that are to the non-believers ‘Intangibles’, but our Divine God only provides His Blessings through these Heavenly Factors.  Therefore, without Faith there is no power, but when we combine His Grace and our Faith we are empowered by His Holy Spirit.

To experience this Power of Abundant Life, one must come to Him and accept His Priceless Gift of His Redemption, to be Redeemed. We must acknowledge that we cannot go to His Kingdom without His Sanctification by His Blood.

Happiness is within our Heart, it is not in our Wallet, The Grace of God is more resourceful that the fattest wallet or the largest bank account.

1) Knowing that God loves us all, meaning we must be rooted in Love.

2) To remain un-shaken, remain strong by the Established Love.

3) To be rooted and established in Christ’s Love,

4) To be filled with God’s Holy Spirit,

5) That one must be satisfied and complete in Him,

6) To move towards the full purpose that God intended for us,

7) Let the Power of His Holy Spirit work in us

To know Christ… Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer our Eternal Sovereign God in One of Your Divine Trinity, Lord Jesus thank You for Your Graciousness and for Victory in You as we give You our Praises knowing that You Lord is our Salvation and by Your Grace we are saved. Lord Your Infinite Power and Divine Glory are our shelter in troubled times, Lord let those that are experiencing turbulent times in their lives find You from this mission of Good News Forever; Bless our Visitors and let the number of visitors grow as we do this for Your Glory and am privileged to serve You Lord. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Note… Your  Love ️ of anything more than the Lord is making that thing an idol…

Neighborly Love…

Today we are publishing a letter known as Delta Flight 15

You will be linked to this letter by clicking on (Delta Flight 15) at the end of page.

In times of peril and upheaval humans tend to come together, it is like living in a neighborhood for a decade without ever knowing your neighbors. During the aftermath of a major hurricane in South Florida, almost everyone on the block became neighborly and got to know each other.

Relationship: It’s a Two-Way Street, and it takes two to make an ‘Agreement’

Text: Hebrews 13:5

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

Hebrews 13:4-6 (in Context) Hebrews 13 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary: We asked our Lord to remain with us and He said…” I will never leave you nor forsake you” but He also asked us to do the same. The covenant of the Lord made at Calvary provided His Forgiveness of our Sins, and Sanctified by his Blood of Atonement.   The Covenant of our Lord is more than a ‘Binding Agreement’ it is irreversible and eternal.

Definition of COVENANT

In the Hebrew scriptures, an agreement or treaty among peoples or nations, but most memorably the promises that God extended to humankind (e.g., the promise to Noah never again to destroy the earth by flood or the promise to Abraham that his descendants would multiply and inherit the land of Israel). God's revelation of the law to Moses on Mount Sinai created a pact between God and Israel known as the Sinai covenant. In Christianity, Jesus' death established a new covenant between God and humanity.

Principle: Philippians 4:6 New International Version (NIV)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Psalm 25:14 (NIV)

14 The Lord confides in those who fear him;
he makes his covenant known to them.

Notice: Our Lord ‘Confides’ in us who Love Him (For if we Love Him we also Respect Him, and Fearing Him is not how we serve Him, but by Love, Faith, and knowing that He is God) When we live by these precepts, He shows us His Covenants.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4: 8-9 NKJV

For God has not given us a spirit of Fear, but of Power and of Love and of a Sound mind… 2 Timothy 1: 7 NKJV

Let us avoid these…

  • Breaking Covenant Through Divorce
  • Breaking Covenant Through Injustice
  • Breaking Covenant by Withholding Tithes
  • Speaks Arrogantly Against God

Ephesians 2: 4-10

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

I do not envy the rich of their earthly riches, because in Christ I am rich, and it is my responsibility to spread the Good News of our Lord’s Riches for us; and not to be kept in Jars of Clay, but to showcase the richness of our Lord, so that the earthy rich folks will ‘desire’ to be a participant in the Heavenly Riches that our Lord has endowed for us.

The Heavenly wealth will never fade nor is it controlled by the Federal Reserve. Because our earthly money in the USA it is just a piece of paper considered a ‘Legal-Tender’ that states Default backed by the full faith and credit of the US government”.  Back when the paper bill was introduced to the population of the United States, this ‘Faith & Credit’ was not sufficient to validate a dollar bill so they added “IN GOD WE TRUST” so ultimately, the intrinsic value of the dollar bill is up to our Lord (According to man) .  Our Lord’s Wealth is far greater than all the Gold and nothing on earth can compare, nor can we bring him any of our earthly wealth in exchange for His Kingdom.

Now that we see the entire group of ‘Scoffers’ with their pockets lined with Dollar Bills with the Legend “IN GOD WE TRUST” I guess this must be a burden and especially for the Atheist. I oftentimes wonder if an Atheist uses the US Currency or the currency of ‘Nothing’ or; is their currency a blank sheet of paper. When someone finds the answer please let us know.

His Faithfulness:

Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)

13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Come to our Lord, just as you are and do not miss the most important appointment for today…

Father in Heaven in Jesus our Redeemer we come, Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in One of The Father our Creator in Your Holy Trinity, we come in Faith this day looking to you as the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Lord, You said that Faith can move Mountain, Lord let the mountain in our lives be moved today and let it be replaced with your Holy Spirit. Lord bless our Visitors that are coming to this Good News Website that is posted for Your Glory Lord, Lord we are privileged to serve You and be a Vessel to bear the Water of Life from You to many by your Good News.  Lord we give You the Glory and to you in the Power and thine is the Kingdom, in Your Holy Name we pray Lord Jesus, Amen

Become…   A ‘Certified’ Model… Declared like ‘New’ with Warranty

Be more than ‘New’ be ‘Righteous’ and through Jesus we are made Righteous.

While the Bible states that there are none Righteous, you and I will be Righteous in the sight of God the Father, all by the Grace of our Lord Jesus.

Why? Because none of us can ever we ‘Good-enough’ to be in the Holy Presence of the Father. This is why through Jesus our Redeemer who is our Triune God in One of the Father declared us Righteous, as He said ‘It is Finished’…

Your name is in the Bible… Where?

Romans 5:8

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still  ‘sinners’, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:19

For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

Our names are right where it said…’Sinners’

We wish to point out that Paul wrote in Romans 3:9

No One Is Righteous] What shall we conclude then? Do we have any advantage? Not at all! For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin. In Context |

And While Jesus did say “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” In Context.

This may be somewhat a dilemma as Jesus said Mark 2:17

On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” In Context  |

 Righteous is defined through Faith…

Romans 3:21

Righteousness Through Faith] But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.

Therefore because of those with faith in God, the dilemma is cleared, and therefore there is no tough-choice to be made as Jesus declared those in faith to be Righteous.

So, today become more than a ‘Certified-model’ which is a car that underwent inspection and repaired to be ‘almost like new’; Today Jesus will declare you Righteous as in faith through His Grace that we are made Righteous.

Ephesians 2:8

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God

In Context |

Therefore, unless we come to the Father in Jesus…

John 14:6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

John 1:18

No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

Many may say that Moses came face to face with God…The ‘Burning-bush’ was the angel of God, in a ‘Hologram’

The next Dilemma is found in Genesis 32: 30 30 So Jacob called the place Peniel,[g] saying, “It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.”

Jacob was wrestling with the Son of God, Jesus… because before Abraham, Jesus was…

This clarified here… John 8:58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”

So, we declare Jesus as the Light of the World as God on the first day said…  ‘Let there be Light” and Yeshua/Jesus His Son appeared. Remember the Sun was not place in the firmament until the 4th day. Jesus is supreme…

Colossians 1:15

The Supremacy of the Son of God] The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Now, we see all of God’s love for us ‘Sinners’ perfected through Christ, as God declared 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Today’s devotion was a bit long, but the analogy must be defined to clear up any disputes.

Thank you all for your attention, and may the Lord bless each of our pathways today as we go in Faith.

Heavenly Father, in Jesus we come… Lord Jesus we thank You knowing than it is by Your Grace that we are saved and not of anything we do. Lord thank You for our Visitors and grant us all Your favors as we go in faith. We Praise You and give You first place, to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

A ‘Resto-Mod’ making Old into new. Fully equipped for today’s condition…

A true “restoration” is a vehicle that has been reassembled with the goal of bringing it back to factory-stock condition only. A “restomod” job is defined as a vehicle that has been put back together with the addition of new modern or aftermarket parts that were not on the vehicle when it came from the factory.

There is a difference between a Restoration and a ‘Restomod’.  Restomod is a restoration plus updating the functionality of the vehicles, such as modern and efficient brakes, Air Conditioning and more features that bring the old vehicle to today’s operating capabilities.

As we age, we lose muscles and even bone density, unless we maintain ourselves with diet, supplements and exercise.? The constant barrage of worldly pleasures, the excessive over-reaching promotions to indulge.

Excerpts from Hastings, Et Al…

A number of reviews have examined the research on advertising to children and conclude that food advertising leads to greater preferences and purchase of the products advertised (Hastings et al., 2003IOM, 2006Story & French, 2004). In addition, as assessed through correlational and quasi-experimental studies, heavier media viewing often predicts more unhealthy diets and higher body weight among children (see IOM, 2006). A few studies have also examined effects of food advertising on actual eating behaviors, usually assessed by food choices following exposure to advertising (see Hastings et al., 2003IOM, 2006). One study with high ecological validity exposed children at an overnight camp to a daily cartoon with candy or fruit advertising, PSAs, or no ads (Gorn & Goldberg, 1982). Over a 2-week period, children who saw the candy ads selected fruit and orange juice as a snack less often than the other children.

In our Spiritual lives, we need to do the same maintenance of avoidance…

Proverbs 4:15

Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way. In Context

1 Thessalonians 4:3

It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality;

In Context

2 Timothy 2:16

Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly.

Titus 3:9

But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless. In Context

Instead… Cling to what is good:

Romans 12:9

Love in Action] Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. In Context

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.
Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight;
so you are right in your verdict and justified when you judge.
Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place.

Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity.

10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,

Coming to our Lord:

Psalm 51

For the director of music. A psalm of David. When the prophet Nathan came to him after David had committed adultery with Bathsheba.

Praise our Lord for His Faithfulness and by His Covenant, He said…“Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”

18 And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary. Hebrews 10: 17-17

Hebrews 10: 14  For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.

15 The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says:

16 “This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord.
I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.”[

17 Then he adds:

“Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”

18 And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.

(So, having being saved continue to draw near to God… seek the Lord Jesus)

22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Let us also take notice as written in Hebrews 10: 26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the Law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

From the text above, these are what we do when we sin…

  • Trample on the Son of God
  • Insulting the Spirit of Grace

The saying of the Lord… TEXT:  Romans 14:11 For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.”

In Context | Full Chapter

Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, In Context

His Faithfulness:

Matthew 10:32 [Confess Christ Before Men] “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. In Context

The author of Hebrews said… Hebrews 10: 36   You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. 37 For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.”

38 And, “But my righteous one will live by faith.   And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”

39 But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and savior we come… Lord Jesus thank You as we are privileged to be presented by You Jesus Messiah… We Praise You and we seek You and we thank You for Your Divine Redemption, Lord preserve us and Lord let this mission continue to reach many for Your Glory as we present our Visitors and ask Your Blessings on each as we go in Faith. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Consider this…    Are you being ‘Recalled” for defects?

Have you ever received a recall notice? Check if you have one at www.recall.gov

Go to this site: https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/latest-product-recalls/ for a comprehensive list of recall.

One of the humorous recall is FOOD & RECIPES

 JUL 5, 2017

Whole Foods "Chicken Salad" Recalled for Containing No Chicken

You might be laughing, but there could be a potentially dangerous side effect for some.

Yes, each of us has been recalled, why?

The fall of man…
Genesis 3
 [Full Chapter]

The Fall] Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’ ...

Die? Adam did not die immediately, he lived to be a total of 930 years, and then he died. Genesis 5:5

The serpent was crafty, but he did not know of the redemption by the Blood, and the Grace of God.

1 Corinthians 15:22

For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

Here’s where each of us are ‘Recalled’…

Revelation 2:11

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who is victorious will not be hurt at all by the second death. In Context |

Revelation 20:6

Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

1 Corinthians 15:57

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:54

When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

1 Corinthians 15:55

“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”

1 Corinthians 15:57

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

God is all, powerful, the Creator of all things are done by His Divine design, that is referred to as intelligent design… with all this said, then how did the devil enter the scene.

When god created mankind, he made us with the ability to be free thinkers, He gave us the freedom of choices, and as slaves. In a pristine environment without sin how did evil got it start? This started when lucifer wanted to be equal with God.

Greed, grudge and envy are the building blocks of hate and hate feeds evil desires. The devil was casted out of heaven and landed on earth. So, this was the beginning of the devil using earth as his domain.

God was not surprised… so He sent His Son Jesus the Christ to redeem us. His redemption was another Divine Design, as Christ died, the devil, that he won, but he wasn’t aware that God would love us so much that He would come in the form of a. Man, die for us and by His Divine Holy Blood redeem us, just as how God saved the Israelites in Egypt as the angel of death passed over, the Blood of the Lamb saved them.

So, the Blood of Christ who is the unblemished Lamb of God can save us from the second and great Passover to come… known as the Day off the Lord.

2 Peter 3:10

The Day of the Lord] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

So, don’t worry… but be aware that the evil one is real, but God provided a way for us to have victory over the evil one.  Ephesians 6:13

Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. In Context | Full Chapter |

Described above are the most advanced defense more advanced that the latest man-made weapons. A Weapon that can destroy the most destructive thing aimed at us.

So, keep praying, keep watching, keep in the Light, seek the Lord as He is always near, and He is our renewing power, it is like plugging in to be charged.

Ezekiel chapter 1…  gives an enigmatic description of the Lord, who came wearing a white Robe and sandals, while the Bible said Jesus is the same yesterday and today, Jesus before coming was already the Light.

So, when we are ‘Enlightened’ we receive His Light, and His Light will never fade. So, as re reflect His Light, we also will never fade, even when you die, because your Soul is also the light that will leave your body and transition to His Holy Presence.

Ezekiel 1: 26 And above the firmament over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone; on the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a man high above it. 27 Also from the appearance of His waist and upward I saw, as it were, the color of amber with the appearance of fire all around within it; and from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw, as it were, the appearance of fire with brightness all around. 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.

Revelation 15:4

Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested.”

On that day when you transition to Him, in the twinkling of an eye you will be transformed, sanctified by His Holiness.

1 Corinthians 15:52

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Grace is all we have that allows us to come to Him, His Blood is His Saving Power.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savor we come.  Lord Jesus thank You for being our Mediator and our Redeemer… Lord we thank You for the privilege of knowing You and that we can say You Lord Jesus our Redeemer Lives! We thank You for our Visitors and we seek Your Divine Providence on each one as we go in Faith and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Know this…      You are born with ‘Full-Warranty’

We all came with a ‘slight-blemish’ and this defect is covered under a plan.

The Plan provides for us to make an ‘upgrade’.  How would you like to purchase a plane ticket for a12 hour flight, and at check in, you are given an opportunity to upgrade your seat from coach to first-class? I guess we all would do the upgrade.

In life the ‘Blemish’ that we came into this world with, it is not visible.  Yet, in reality it is there, and you may say…” I do not have this blemish”. Yes, you do.  But there is a ‘manufacturer’s warranty’ that allows us to be redeemed and be made perfect.

We are writing about the wages of sin is death, again one will ask why do we visit this sad history in humanity? First, we need to acknowledge that because of Adam, we all are sinners, and secondly, there is the Good News of our Lord Jesus who came and redeemed us…. For there are many that will say why do I need to be redeemed? I have led a good clean live, I do not steal I even go to church and am a member of the choir, and I was born in a Christian home, and what is being discussed here really do not apply to me… The Bible said we are all sinners and fall short of the Glory of God.

And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

First let me say this… This website is known as GOOD NEWS FOREVER, and our discussion today may not start out as ‘Good-News’ but it will end in Good NEWS and backed by a Guarantee that far exceeds the greatest Warranty backed by any company or government, there is a saying the surest thing we have in live is “Death & Taxes’ but there’s more – A Judgment, and the best to come is Salvation and a live of total Splendor…

What does this mean?  If we have just one life and when we die, how can there be a judgment? And by whom will we be judged?

The first things we all need to know are:

·         We were created in the likeness of our Creator

·         We will never Die

·         And there is a place of Splendor and a place of eternal suffering (Hell)

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

The invitation of our Lord is not like what we call an engraved gold printed piece of paper, the Invitation is Sanctified by the Blood of Jesus. When we accept His Gift, we are inducted into an exclusive chosen community with Jesus as the Head of our lives that is now blessed by His Word… For I came that you may have life and have it more abundantly’   This defines as…our lives here and in the world to come!

Matthew 25:23

His lord said unto him, well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Heavenly Father, in Jesus we come, Lord as we acknowledge that ‘naked we came and naked we shall go’ and nothing that we possess will be taken but the greatest of all treasures will be taken into Your kingdom… Your Grace and Redemption Sealed by Your Atoning Blood. Lord we thank You for coming and thank You for redeeming us as it is through Your Grace that we are saved and not of anything we do. Lord thank You for our Visitors and bless each one and grant us all your Favors as we shall one day Lord see you as You are. Lord make this a day of Peace and let Your message reach many for Your Glory. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Put on Christ

11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.

Needless to say, there are more homeless population, more people going hungry, schools are failing, more violence and what’s next.  What is the root cause of these disarray? Whenever someone says…” It is because God is out of the equation” the press would jump all over this person, what is the agenda of our press? TV, Newspapers, Internet and other medias are all focused on what? One could say decadence is the top priority. Life-style and greed factors are headliners.

Who do we blame? Our leaders? Parents, Hollywood? Our pastors? Or just society at large?  One thing for sure we cannot blame God… His warning is perpetually stated in His words.  So how do we end this cycle of a down-spiraling in our society?  Let us look at the ‘Solution”

2 Chronicles 7:14
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Jeremiah 33:3

Philippians 4: 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things

8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

How wonderful is the love of our Savior as He said.

James 1:2-4 (NKJV)

Profiting from Trials

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Year Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

What is Man that our God is so concerned with our wellbeing? He created us, He numbered our days, and He also made a way for us to be in Eternity with Him.  Because the Eden Restored will be sinless and pure not because we are capable of being good on our own, because He died for our sin, and He has prepared a ‘Sanctified’ Place which is Sinless and we humans will be Transformed, and be in a place of Splendor where our Eternal Sovereign God will radiate His Love and His Holy Spirit that will abide in us will keep us in Harmony with our Lord.

Father we come today in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus today we acknowledge that You are the Light of the World, and that on the first day, as our Creator said…”Let there be light” and there was light, Lord we also read that our Creator did not create the Sun until the fourth day, so therefore Lord, it was Your Divine Radiance that illuminated the darkness. Lord we thank you for Your Love and we are privileged to serve You knowing that You are the same yesterday and forever. Lord bless our Visitors to this Website, grant Your Favors to all Lord, as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen

Check this…    The Seasons of our lives, which season are you in?  Choose the eternal Springtime…

Text: Luke 16:11

Man is like a Broadway show, it runs for a season, and sometimes they continue for several seasons, but it will come to an end. Sometimes the show comes to an abrupt ending   Even tyrants that oppress many suffers an ending and sometimes a not too comfortable ending.  So, what is life? 70, 80, 90 or a hundred years.  The years of bliss and wealth will soon pass and then one must face the reality of choosing his ultimate home.

So, if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?

Luke 16:10-12 (in Context) Luke 16 (Whole Chapter)

The autobiographies of many famous achievers in the 20th century consist of many well-known industrialists, financiers and even politicians. Many served their own grandstanding of wealth accumulation without much care for others; some built their fortunes around exploitation of fellowmen and earth’s environment, and some made their mark in their contributions to humanity, in medicine, technology, aviation, agriculture and other things we use in our daily lives.

Today we look at D. L. Moody an uneducated man by today’s world standards; that in faith built by the Grace of our Lord, many projects with the core intention of helping others and spreading the Gospel. From his humble beginning we see a broadcasting network, a Bible Institute and many building blocks along the way that benefited his fellowmen.

We spoke about the ‘Richest person in the graveyard’ and those not knowing Jesus such a person is the ‘Poorest’ person in the grave. And that is where the unsaved remains.  But those in Christ saved by his Grace, are considered the ‘real wealthy ones’ but is not the ‘richest person in the graveyard, why? Because their graves are empty as in the twinkling of any eye, all in Christ are transitioned to the presence of our Lord.  As the Bible said, to be absent from the body and be present with the Lord.

The answer to the question above, what is life? Our Lord said be ‘fruitful and multiply’ and He said we are to bring His Good News to the ends of the earth.  So, considering the brevity of life, we are told by God to use our time and make use of it and sow seeds for a bountiful harvest.

Principle: Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.1 Peter 5:7-9 (in Context)

Heaven is mentioned in the Bible (KJV) 551 Times
In Revelation Heaven is described as an unimaginable place of Splendor...

 Revelation 21:18
The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.
Revelation 21:17-19 (in Context)

Gold is considered a precious metal, and it is selling at an all-time high, but instead of bricks & mortar, the Kingdom of our Lord is made from pure Gold.
There was an old movie that showed a man dying of thirst in the desert and he had a Gold bar, then came a couple and he reach out and offered them the gold bar in exchange for a drink of water... the girl said to her friend, “look he is offering us this piece of metal in exchange for a drink of water, he apparently believes that there is value in what he is offering”.
The movie went on to explain that gold was no longer a precious metal, and after the dying man was given a drink of water, he explains that he had stolen the Gold bars and was in prison for a very long time, but when he was released he went where he hid the Gold not knowing that it was just another piece of metal.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

As a custodian of what we receive as the Favor of our Lord, we need to continue to ‘Seek’ Him, and by Seeking Him we will ‘Love’ Him and His Love will overflow to others through us.

As Stewards we are just caretakers (Custodians) until we journey on to Glory in His presence, and at this point all earthly possessions that we held are left behind.

Choose the “Eternal Springtime, a time with the Lord…

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus we come, Lord as You have revealed that in Your Kingdom, the value of what we treasure will be of no value as there will be no need for earthly treasures.  No longer will there be any fear of any thief breaking in; as all of what we need will be provided and You our Lord will radiate the Light with Joy and Splendor. Lord thank you for giving us a glimpse of what You have prepared for all Your followers.  Lord bless our Visitors and grant us Your peace and in awe we reflect upon Your care of Your chosen ones. But Lord, You have also set boundaries and we seek your guidance to stay within the boundaries to please You Lord. In Faith we Pray… Lord Jesus and to you are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Love ️ is the greatest gift ever, as Jesus loved us before, do you know Him and love Him?

Principles: The Bible describes the attributes of God’s servants: Jesus The-Christ

Serving HIM by LOVE and OBEY His Commandments, to SERVE HIM and bring others to HIM, by REJOICING in HIS Words, to PROCLAIM the Salvation of His Redemption, to Serve Him WHOLEHEARTEDLY, and come to HIM with HUMILITY.

We are writing about serving our Lord while serving others. For many of us in our present circumstances, we face many challenges, some may have lost a loved one, some may be facing financial needs, family matters, and relationships, children growing up in a society filled with many distractions. The negativism of the news and even issues in churches and facing personal challenges affecting our walk with the Lord, are the mountains that we face daily.

So, you may ask how does this topic of ‘Live by the Spirit, Love our Lord, Serve others’ be relevant while one is facing a mountain of issues, as recited above? Life is to live the moment by knowing that our Lord loves us, and that we were known to Him before we were born, He knows us by name, He has a plan for each of us, He offers His care and above all He offers His Priceless Gift of Salvation.

Some may say it is easy for us to just adopt the “Place it all at the Cross” “Cast your burdens on God”, and ‘Leave it up to Him’ but these approaches have not yielded any answer for me… if this is your attitude, you have really not truly applied any of these principles, why? With God it is really not like this, but in some ways there is a need to make your request known to the Lord, but with thanksgiving, give Him thanks that when your favor is granted you will achieve your goals and you are thanking Him for the Goals, not the money.

So, if the goal is not worthy of His favor, the request will not be granted.  Why? He said why you do not receive His favor; it is because you ask amiss, meaning your intentions are not good, you plan to use what He will provide for things that are abominable to Him. Therefore, you are ignored.

Come to our Lord with Faith and with the resolve that what you seek will be for good things, the good things are not necessarily to run a charity and care for 1,000 homeless individuals, ‘Goodness’ in the eyes of the Lord is to live by His precepts of knowing He is God, and that Jesus died for you, and that He loves you and just the first two Commandments will allow you to adhere to the other 8 commandments. First he said Love Him, Secondly, Love your Neighbors like yourself.  So, when we can live by these two key factors, all other things will fall into line.

Serving my Lord as defined:

Galatians 5: 13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Joshua 22:5       Love and OBEY His Commandments

Only be very careful to observe the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God and walk in all His ways and keep His commandments and hold fast to Him and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

Romans 12:11   TO SERVE HIM and Bring others to HIM,

11 not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;

Psalm 2:11         BY REJOICING IN HIS WORD,

11 Worship the Lord with reverence And rejoice with trembling.

17 Therefore in Christ Jesus I have found reason for boasting in things pertaining to God.

2 Chronicles 19:9             TO SERVE HIM WHOLE HEARTEDLY

Then he charged them saying, “Thus you shall do in the fear of the Lord, faithfully and wholeheartedly.

Philippians 2: 3-8            COME TO HIM WITH HUMILITY

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant,and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

Today we saw the ‘Great Commission’ of what our Lord gave to each of us that loves Him… The collection of Scriptures are not addressed to the any of the great theologians, Billy Graham, or any other noted Evangelists. These are the WORD of God, speaking to each of us.

In Philippians 2: 3-8 above that clearly stated the Example of Christ, how He was God (Verse 6) He was taking the form of a Bond-Servant, and how He humbled Himself even to the point of Death on the cross.

Just think The King of kings, Lord of lords and God Supreme chose to die in our place.  Only by His Grace could His Divine Crucifixion and Triumphant Resurrection Paid-It-All for us. “He is the Great I AM”

Father in Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, we come and seek Your divine Blessings today and we thank You for Your Saving Grace.  Lord Your Unconditional Love for us we acknowledge knowing that You created it all for us and gave us humans dominion over all things, but man tarnished your Creation, and Lord this Creation we address is man himself. Lord we thank you for removing that ‘Tarnish’ by Your Blood of Atonement. And by Your Redemption we are no longer a ‘Pawn” to the evil one, as You have Redeemed us and given us Your Grace and made us Joint-Heirs to Your Kingdom, Lord thank you for our Visitors to receive your Peace and Your Favors for Your Glory. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Messiah, our Redeemer and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Be aware…    Giving All… as no one leaves with anything. But in Christ, you will leave with everything.

Do not offer your life to God with conditions; He does not accept any ‘Pre- Conditions’

Text:     Romans 12: 1-8

  • We need to adopt the principles of not trying to save our life for our own goal, but give it with no condition even to death
  • We need to let go and no strings attached so that the Grace of God will take charge of our life

Each of us received specific talents, some with the gift of communication, some with music some inventors and some with financial skills, some are leaders and some are followers. Whatever skills we possess we can use it to help others; when we think we are down and out, there are always others with more challenge than what you face right now.

Fanny Crosby who set out to give her Lord praises and to share her faith, but while doing this she received the blessing of the fragrance of our Lord. She was admitted to the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.

The example of Fanny Crosby above points us to the fact while we spread the fragrance of our Lord, we will also receive His fragrance.  Remember only what’s done for Him will last and only what He builds will last. So let Him build our lives by His Grace, and following our Lord’s commandments, No. 1 To Love Him and No.2 to Love our Neighbors.

What can we contribute to society, it starts with one person, and the one person that can make a difference is ourselves. It like the little boy tossing beached Star Fishes back into the ocean, and a man came and said “what you are doing won’t make a difference”, the boy ignored him and tossed another, and then said, “to this one it makes a difference”. The bury our heads in the sand approach will not accomplish anything; it just takes a small spark to have started the great Chicago fire.  Thousands of acres are still burning across the US-West, guess what? they all started with a small spark or a small flame.

So, look around see what talent the Lord gave you, get involved. Bring your ideas to your church; seek others to join you in volunteering to help other. Even visiting nursing homes, hospitals and Children’s home, etc.

His Faithfulness:

Matthew 25: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feedYou, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Matthew 7:22
I Never Knew You

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Right now, we can start by praying for our friends in need, our neighbor, and even those that offended you today.  Pray for our nation, our leaders and for our Lord to re-align what may need our Lord’s help; in our schools, our government and even in our churches.

Plant seeds by speaking positively, never ‘dumb-down’ or putting down anyone, including your self, step out in Faith…remembering that negativity only breeds failure, and success breeds success.

Father thank You in Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus, thank You for coming and thank you for Your Grace and by Your Divine Resurrection we have Victory in You. Lord as we sow the seeds of Your Righteousness, Lord let in fall on good ground and bear much fruit for Your Glory. We ask Your blessing upon our Visitors and all who come to You realizing Your Love and great Salvation through Your Sacrifice. Lord we are humbled by Your UN-Conditional love for us all. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory. Now and forevermore… Amen.

Today we will look back at the spiritual leaders that made their mark on Christianity by the formation of the Church.  Christians are followers of Christ, and the original team consisting of Paul, Barnabas, Luke, March, Matthews, James, John, Timothy, Simon, Silas & Stephen,   The early church founders suffered as much confrontation facing many of our Missionaries in foreign land today. In fact Stephen was stoned to death this occurred before Saul was struck down on the road to Damascus and Jesus claimed Saul as His Vessel, Saul became a follow of Christ, and he then used his other name Paul.

The Church of Antioch was considered the birthplace of the Christian Church, as followers of Christ was first called Christians in Antioch. Antioch is a border town in Syria & close to Turkey, and this is where many Christian Jews migrated to from Jerusalem.

In the United States we will reflect on Christian leaders like Dwight D. Moody, and the famous British clergyman, Charles H. Spurgeon.  These men made their mark on Christianity during the last century, and their teaching are still today being used on a daily basis. Dwight L. Moody a man that left school in the fifth grade, and went on to build schools and colleges, and today Moody Institute is a worldwide legacy through Moody Broadcast and Theological seminary.

We also must mention the Five Missionaries that went to the deep jungle of Ecuador. The two most well-known would be Jim Elliott and Nate Saint, their legacy mark a historical event that opened this remote region to Christ.

The most frequently asked about quote is,

"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose."

A famous quote by Jim Elliott one of five Martyrs that brought the Auca Indians to the Lord after they were martyred, Jim’s wife and Nate’s wife stayed on in the jungle of Ecuador and brought the leaders to the Lord. What a price to have paid to bring our Lord Jesus to this remote jungle.

Today… We church goers that are really ‘Arm-chair’ worshippers, we need to regain the Zeal, it may not be to go to the ends of the earth, but right here in our backyard of this United States there is a need to bring the Gospel of Salvation to a population that are drifting away and some not even ever heard the Truth of our Lord’s Salvation.

We who are believers need to do our part as the commission of our Lord was to proclaim His message of; the Good News that He Rose Triumphantly and HE is alive on the Throne of Righteousness and He is waiting to receive those that come to Him for His Redemption.

There’s so much to tell, as re recite the key things we all need to know:

  1. God Created the Heaven and the Earth
  2. God Created us in His Likeness
  3. Because we are Created in the Likeness of God, we too shall live forever.
  4. Jesus is the Son of God and He is Supreme and was there from the beginning of it all
  5. Because we are descendants of Adam, we are all born into Sin.
  6. The Good News is: God Sent His Son Jesus to Redeem us.

Praise Our Lord Jesus for His Omniscience and His Divine Holiness and Jesus is our Sovereign Eternal God. Thank You Lord for the privilege of coming to you my Lord. Amen.

Our quote for today is a reminder…

“Money and wealth is like drinking sea water, the more you drink the thirstier you get, so the more money you have the more you want”

Lord bless our Visitors and grant Your peace and Your Divine Providence to us all.    We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Do this…       Make a list of Friends and Family you would like to know the Lord…

Where are you headed today?   Remember, He leads us to Green-Pastures and Still waters…

Knowing the Lord is the greatest gratification one can attain. The difference of to ‘know of’ someone versus ‘knowing the person’ is to have a relationship on a personal level.  So, all we must do is to share the enlightenment with our friends and families.

When we share the Joy of the Lord we are sharing the utmost gift that money cannot purchase.

The Good News for today are:

Focus: The battle is not yours, but God’s. … Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed.   2 Chronicles 20:15, 17.”

Text: “Do not be terrified. … The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you” (Deuteronomy 1:29-31).

“All this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47).

Commentary:   Keep Asking, Seeking, knocking: “ASK” Luke 11: 9-12

“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

 HOPE + FAITH x GRACE = Redemption

Redemption?   Many may say why do I have to be ‘Redeemed’?  I wasn’t mortgaged of sold?

The question is; to whom your soul belongs to?  What is my soul?  Who cares?

Let begin by knowing that we have one life to live, and after that the judgment…

Who cares? Yes… we should all care because we are more than the animals. We were created in the likeness of God Himself…

Ephesians 1:7

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Our Lord Jesus said…

John 11:25

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;

26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” In Context | Full Chapter |

There was a radio evangelist that predicted the end of the WORLD not once but several times, and when he was wrong, he changed the dates and gave many explanations.  This radio evangelist also said that the age of the Church ended and that the devil had taken over the churches.

Sometimes one must ask, why would a radio evangelist tell his audience not to go to church? Is it that they should listen to his radio program and not tide, and send him the money instead?  This same person also said that when one dies this is the end of life and there will be no accountability.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God; the events recorded are for us to learn about the Love of God. The events of the Creation, the fall of mankind, the Flood and the preservation of Humans and the living things that God wanted to be preserved, those were the early years.

In our current time of 2018 which is fast closing and facing the coming new year, do we know what’s in store for us?  At Good News Forever, we are not prophets, but we can say Yes, we know, it is more of the same for this world, but to us believers we do not have to undergo more of the same.

Let us re-affirm that the Church Age did not end, as Jesus gave His command by saying… A new commandment I give you, that you love one another; as I have loved you that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples if you have love for one another. John 13: 34-35 NKJV

Regarding the Church Age… We read about Paul’s writing in Hebrews 10: 25 ‘Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another; and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

We need ‘Oneness’ in Christ, as we look to that day… The Day of The Lord! The Body of Christ is the Church, His Holiness and Fellowship in Him as we Praise our Lord through Community Worship and in our personal Worship of our Savior.

Philippians 4. 4-9

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The Good News is that Jesus is Sovereign, He is Eternal and He loves us! and above all Jesus died and Rose Triumphantly and conquered death by taking all of our Sins on the Cross.  Yes, He died for our Sins, and he Rose from the tomb, and He Ascended to Heaven and He is on the Throne of Righteousness, and one day he will return.

Are you ready for His return? Today His Grace abounds, and His Salvation is readily available to be received.

So come to Him, and pray… Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, and I repent of my sin by accepting Your ‘Priceless-Gift, Lord Jesus Your Grace I receive and in You I place my trust. Lord direct my path as I seek a closer walk with you my Lord. I Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, Amen.

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus thank You for coming and Thank You for Your Divine Redemption; Lord we thank You for our Visitors and the privilege of serving You Lord for Your Glory.  Lord we Praise You and we seek Your divine guidance as we go in Faith knowing that Your Holy Spirt is with us, In Your Holy name we Pray Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday:  May 6, 2018

It’s Sunday….    A time to recharge, be energized filled with His Spirit, do something special.

Make time… Time to fellowship, time for renewal, time to share, time to Praise and thank the Lord.

Is your prayer-time a time of Asking, Giving Thanks, Listening, and waiting? It is a time of Fellowship with the Lord, or is it just a brief visit?  The Lord is not Santa Claus, like the Santa visits at Christmas time…

Even the little child knew what to ask for…

I read about a little girl that came to Santa, and Santa said ‘Little girl what would you like for Christmas? The shy little girl said I would like my mom to get well. Each of our priority is different; a little boy when asked by Santa what he wanted for Christmas, this 7-year-old said, I wish that my Dad will find a job, as we are in need.

We are mostly guilty of not spending enough time on our knees… Prayer is the cornerstone of our Faith

“You can’t afford to miss the most IMPORTANT Appointment of the Day”

Theme:  Pray for all our Christian Brothers and Sisters all in Oneness in Christ, especially those that are leading others, just like how Paul asked to be prayed for, we must pray for those that are ambassadors for Christ as the devil is on the prowl, and has done a lot of damage, but our Lord is in charge and the evil one will be banished.

Text:       Ephesians 6:18  (NIV)

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. Be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Praying to the Lord is the Most-Important Meeting we can have in our daily lives…

All other things we do are secondary, as only our Lord Can Divinely prepare us for the day, He can smooth our tasks, inspire us, gives us His Blessings, and by His Grace we can cope with all aspects of life’s responsibilities.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him (Jesus) that if we ask anything according to His will. He will hear us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.  From: 1 John 5: 14-15 NKJV

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundant above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.  from Ephesians 3:20 NKJV  When we serve others by spreading the Good News, we are sprinkling the Fragrance of our Lord Jesus, and we also get the sweet smelling fragrance on ourselves… meaning that we are privileged to be a Vessel bearing the sweet smell of our Lord and Redeemer, and while we spread His Fragrance our Lord also blesses us with His Grace…2 Corinthians 2:15   15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

Ephesians 6: 1. We face the power of darkness, 2 the spiritual forces of evil,  so we must have the Armor of our Lord and 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:17 NKJV

Comments: We have to be vigilant as the bible said, that the evil one is lurking like a lion seeking those he can devour, so, we must....

Ephesians 4: 22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness

‘As we live Holy Joyful Life we shine in the World as Children of LIGHT’

Unity is the Faith from being Holy, Gentleness, and Patience & Love which flow to the Fellowship and Fullness of God…

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, we come to seek Your Divine Guidance today.  Lord Jesus because You are on the Throne of Righteousness and intercedes for us Lord.  We ask Your Blessing and we Thank You Lord for Your Graciousness.  Today as the Word of Truth are presented by Your Servants in Your Houses of Worship, we pray that the hearers will hear and that the messages will inspire all to come forward in Your Holy Name. Lord we thank You for our Visitors coming to our English, Spanish and Chinese sites, bless our Visitors and grant Your favors on each one, Lord Jesus bless this mission of Good News Forever that it will bear fruit for Your Glory.  We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory Now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday:  May 5, 2018

The Power of Christ is not forced; His Power is what keeps us going

‘Force’ was applied by mankind, not by God…

Matthew 11:11-13 New King James Version (NKJV)

11 “Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

Jesus came to ‘Serve’ not to be served…

Matthew 20:28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” In Context | Full Chapter |

The Gentleness of the Lord…

Matthew 11: 25-30

Jesus Gives True Rest

25 At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. 26 Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. 27 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

A request, not a command… By Jesus:

28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

The Gospel is a ‘Command’ not a request…

Spoken  by Jesus….

Philippians 2: 3-8            COME TO HIM WITH HUMILITY

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant,and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

While our Lord is a Gracious God, He is a God of Consuming Fire, as Sinners that have not repented will be separated from God and will be cast out from his sight and be in a place of perpetual suffering (yes you will be alive but never dying and ever suffering) because our Lord has given sinners over to the final death (but still never dead)
So Come to our Lord today as He said come unto Him and He will receive you and forgive you of your sin(s) and you will be a new creation in Christ.

Pray... Lord Jesus I come in Faith accepting Your gift of Salvation and chose to be alive in You by your Grace my Lord. Lord Jesus receive me as I repent of my sin and accept your great Salvation by your Blood of Atonement, and I seek Your divine guidance in my life, to you Lord is the Glory... Amen.

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we thank you and we seek Your Divine blessing on our Visitors and we give You preeminence. Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Love ️ is the key ingredient, without it you have nothing…

Love is mentioned 500 times in  the Bible..
1 Corinthians 13
 [Full Chapter]

The Greatest Gift] Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. ...

The Love of God… It’s Greater than all, He not only Created us, but Redeemed us and has prepared a place for those that know Him

Mark 11:24

New International Version (NIV)

24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

It is not by eloquence, form or what we say in Prayers that our Lord will hear our prayers, He said just come as you are… therefore, just have a talk with Jesus, bring everything to our Lord, Thanks Him and give Him first place in our lives.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Our God is a God of Second Chance… He is there with open arms to welcome us home, provided we come in Faith and trust in Him.   Faith is a total belief in something that is unseen, and His Grace will be given to us when we come to Him. Grace is something that is totally un-deserved, and it is a divine gift from our Lord. We can get a ‘Grace period’ of 10 days when our phone bill is due, but you have to ask for it. Our Lord Paid for our Sins and by His Blood of Atonement we have His Redemption.  Come to Him and declare Victory in Christ today…

Prayer: Father in Jesus we come knowing that You our Lord Jesus rose triumphantly, and You Lord Jesus sits on the Throne of Righteousness and by Your Blood of Atonement we are saved. Your Divine Grace and Your Eminence and Sovereignty were revealed to man over 700 Years before You came to Redeem us. Lord we acknowledge that You were there at the beginning as You were the Light declared by the Father…”Let there be Light”, Lord Jesus today in Faith we seek You and open our hearts to you so that your Holy Spirit will come and by Your Grace we will be Sealed with Your Blood of Atonement, looking to that day Lord when we shall see You as You are. Lord bless our Visitors and let Your Peace be with us. In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, we pray and give You the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen.

Do this….    Drop the baggage off, exchange it for His Holy Spirit, go with Joy

Leaving my luggage with the bell-captain after checking out of my hotel, has always been a relief, I can then go walking and enjoy the cityscape before leaving for the airport.

In our daily routine, we should do the same, dropping off the ‘baggage’ of life, exchange it for the Holy Spirit and enjoy the walk with our Lord.

God gave us more than a Rose-Garden… He gave us the Garden of Eden which was forfeited due to Adam & Eve going against the command of God.

Image result for clipart treadmillThe good Lord did not intend for us to be on the daily treadmill of life….

Yes, we were thought to fend for ourselves, just as an infant cry for food, or when he’s wet, we developed many instincts of survival.  We were endowed with a life that we cannot believe could have existed. Just think that we could be in a garden like any of the world’s best botanical garden but much better with abundance of food, all of what we ever could desire; without ever having to earn the money to purchase our need, this was a place that we could have had.

Yet, Eden will be restored, and it will be a ‘New-World’ where believers will be tabernacled with God…

Physical exercise is good and most importantly out ‘Spiritual-exercise’ of meditating on His Word will nourish our souls.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

We are to come like child, not clueless but be aware that we cannot hold back anything as he knows our very thoughts….We are to come to our Lord with no pre-supposition, no reservation of what our Lord can do in our lives… we are to be in Faith… going forward in what we refer to as ‘Blind-Faith’ knowing that He is the only One that we can exercise total Faith with no reservation of coming clean… as He knows all of  our thoughts and every intent of any action that we will take.  So, let us come to our Lord asking for His Divine Blessing and that His Holy Spirit will be upon us to guide us and lead us.

Matthew 19:14
But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 19:13-15 (in Context) Matthew 19

‘To walk even as he walked."

1 John 2

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Christ Is Our Advocate

My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.

By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.

Revelation 21:3

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. In Context | Full Chapter |

Bring your burdens but don’t be the Burden, come to Jesus…

Burdens are Lifted at Calvary, a popular saying. Instead, we want to say Burdens ‘Were’ lifted, as Jesus took our burdens away 1,980 years ago and at the Cross laid our burdens aside at the cross..

So, today each individual with that burdensome feeling, just thank Jesus, and let Him know that you are now Free because of He is taking your burden away.

Because Jesus said…” It is Finished” and His statement is final and infinite.

Revelation 21:6

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Revelation 22:13

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. In Context | Full Chapter |

Think on this… Always ask the Lord for His forgiveness as we forgive others and thank him for His graciousness. While we were taught that…once saved, we are saved forever; we are still a sinner saved only by Grace, yet ‘falling-away’ the Bible said…

Simon Peter wrote the following…

2 Peter 2:20

If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. In Context | Full Chapter |

(In Context)

19 They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity—for “people are slaves to whatever has mastered them.” 20 If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. 21 It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.

22 Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,”[g] and, “A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing in the mud.”

Hebrews 10:26

The Just Live by Faith ] For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, In Context | Full Chapter |

Willful sin is a ‘Mockery’ of the Lord, and He will not be mocked.

In context; The Just Live by Faith

26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.

Be on guard… choose the full Armor of the Lord:

Ephesians 6:10-18 [Full Chapter]

The Whole Armor of God] Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. ...

Romans 16: 17-20

Avoid Divisive Persons

17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. 18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus[d] Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple. 19 For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil.

20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Notice… the statement above, Our God of Peace will crush Satan under OUR feet.  (Meaning under your feet)

Today as we bring our burden(s) to the Lord, let us also Thank Him, give Him our Praises and affirm our faith in Him as our Eternal Lord and Savior.

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord Jesus thank You for Your Unspeakable Gift, and by your Blood of Redemption we are saved by Your Grace.  Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Providence as we go in Faith. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Let your prayers be heard, go through the right Channel = Jesus

Jesus said… John 14:6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Self-exaltation is useless, and in the sight of God, we are all one…

Two men went to the temple to pray… (Jesus reflected on their prayers)

Luke 18:11

The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translation

13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’

Jesus’ response…

14 “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

Jesus spoke of…

“Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” Luke 18:17 In Context | Full Chapter

So, today as we think how sophisticated we are, how much we know making big business decisions, leave all this behind and do as the tax collector did, and say… ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’

We will reflect on the story of the native person reading the bible…

An old English story related the experience of a Dutchman who had settled down at the Cape of Good Hope, he saw a poor native reading the Bible and said scornfully: :This book is not for you or the likes of you.” The native person answered quietly: “Yes, it is for me, sir.” The Dutchman said… How do you know? ” - “Well my name is mentioned in it”, “your name?  Where?”. “Sir, said the man, pointing to the verse…This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptances that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”… Sinner, that is my name, that’s why the book is for me. The Dutchman did not know what to say to this.  Yes God’s Holy Word is a book for us all.

We can say with full conviction that the Bible is the only book for us all, and we can draw riches for time eternity.  Happy are all who read it in simplicity and sincerity of heart like that native man who recognized himself to be a Sinner before a Holy and Righteous God that show not preference, as He is not prejudice and does not take sides because of race, color or creed.

Let us not ‘pre-judge’ anyone and let us revisit His Commandment which is founded on Love.

Yes we are all known by our common name ‘Sinners’ so do not be worried, as Jesus assures us that He will never leave us nor forsake us,   We must remember that God loves us even with a name like this.

One thing we have to do, to come to Jesus, admit our common name to Him and tell Him our given name (John or James or Jane, etc) and ask Him to forgive us for our sin, so we will no longer be called by this common name, but be known to Him as a Redeemed Soul, and by doing this we can look to that day when He will meet us face to face and not have to turn away as we are now a Forgiven Redeemed Sinner. Yes, we will be still sinners, but we are now purchased by His Blood, and we are now stamped with His SEAL of Salvation by His Resurrection that Conquered the real death of eternity.

Friends with His Redemption we can look forward to the Place of Splendor that he said ‘Eyes have not seen, nor can we imagine the beauty’ His Paradise is not just a place of un-imaginable beauty, it is a place of Joy filled by His Holiness, and as a redeemed individual we are now made Joint-Heir in Christ. We are Co-Heirs to His Kingdom.

This is not just a message of Hope it is His Divine Covenant. So today we can experience that name change from Sinner to a Redeemed new creation by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Praise God for His Precious Gift of life through Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.

Father we thank You for Your Graciousness and through Jesus our Redeemer our Savior and God in One of Your Holy Trinity, today I know in whom we now believe and am able to say by Grace we are saved and not of anything that we do, as we cannot save myself and only by Your Blood, Lord Jesus I am now marked with the Your Seal.  Lord bless our Visitors as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore Amen.
