Devotional for Sunday November 30, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:       Once enlightened as we have introduced you to Jesus, do not deny Him, as He said no one comes to the father without Him.

TEXT:     Hebrews 10:26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,

2 Peter 2:21
It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.

Focus:  The difference of being ‘Intellectually’ enlighten and ‘Spiritually’ enlightened… Hebrews 10: 26 is referring to the intellectually enlightened that never came to the Lord and Accepted Him… Because if one rejects Him then the Sacrifice was not offered for his sin, but when you accept Christ His Sacrifice is placed upon you as His Blood is His Seal, His Deposit made for you as said in Ephesians 2:8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--

2 Peter 2: 21 gives us the full explanation… to have known it and ‘turn their back’ on the sacred command passed on to them. This statement said they have passed on the Priceless-Gift from our Lord Jesus.

God’s word said all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God…Romans 3:22-24 New King James Version (NKJV)

22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Hebrews 9: 28 (ESV) so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Note: Once saved you are saved by Grace as Christ’s Sacrifice was sufficient to save us by His Blood of Atonement.

Devotional:

Father in Heaven we thank You for sending Jesus our Lord and Savior… Lord Jesus knowing that You were with the Father from the beginning of it all and that by Your Divine Grace through Your Crucifixion and Triumphant Resurrection we are saved by Your Blood of Atonement. Lord Your Divine Sacrifice made for us sinners is an unmerited Gift that You have extended to us. Lord we accept Your Gift of Life in You and we make You Lord knowing that we have Victory in You by Your Divine Grace.

We acknowledge that our Lord Jesus is the only way to the Father and we can only come to the Father through Jesus His Son, so today we go in Faith knowing that in Christ alone we are saved and not of anything we do.  Praise our Lord and Savior for His Priceless Gift, and He our Lord Jesus is our Priceless Gift as we have the privilege of coming to Him and giving Him the Glory.

Coming to the Lord:

Hebrews 9:24

For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; In Context | Full Chapter |

EVENING:

Hebrews 4:15

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. In Context | Full Chapter |

Conclusion:

Today as we acknowledge the Saving Grace of our Lord, and we emphasize “His Grace” as only He alone can save, so we thank our Lord Jesus for His Grace, knowing that while we were yet sinners He Jesus Christ died for our sins.

Because He took our Sins to the Cross, and He said…”It is Finished”, let no one lead us astray as by His Grace we are saved and not of anything that we do.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17: For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

God’s word above refers to the World, but in Verse 18, we will observe that the theme here was “Whoever”

John 3:18: Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son

2 Corinthians 5:21

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God"

Colossians 1: 15-20 New International Version (NIV)

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

For He said:  All things work together for good to those that love the Lord…

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:27-29 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter)

Remember the battle is the Lord's, and HE sits on the Throne of Righteous and intercedes for us... What a Privilege HE gave us!

Revelation 21:4 New International Version (NIV)

4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.’

Prayer:  Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord today as we look at the challenges of life we also have Your assurance that we too accept Your Word…“Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we seek Your Divine blessings upon each one, we thank You for the privilege of presenting the Good News of Your Salvation. Lord we thank You for Your Redemption and lift You up before men knowing that we will never be ashamed in trusting You. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Messiah, to You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Saturday November 29, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:       Do you have a treasure you could sell at an auction? One Treasure that you can never sell because it is not transferable

TEXT:     John 1:2

He was in the beginning with God. In Context | Full Chapter

Focus:    Do you wish that you had a Rembrandt or an art piece that was considered valuable and saleable at one of the world’s leading auction houses? The old adage of…”One man’s junk is another man’s treasure”; in the world of antiquity some of the items that are treasured are really moth-eaten, and if they were new they would be in the ‘Scratch & Dent’ bins in the local thrift store.  In fact some rare pieces of Art works were purchased in Thrift-Stores for a few dollars.

Devotional:  Jesus is the provider of His Priceless-Gift…

Let us reflect on the supremacy of our Lord Jesus, when God said… Let there be Light, and there was light, this is when His Son appeared.  The Sun was not made on the first day, so Jesus His Son the Light of the World came before the Sun.

EVENING:

The story of the well-known atheist… Voltaire “You cannot sell what you do not own” The story of François-Marie Arouet, better known by his nom de plume Voltaire, was a French Enlightenment writer, historian and philosopher

Frederick II (the Great) was King of Prussia from 1740 to 1786 who held a social gathering to which he invited the famous atheist Voltaire. Voltaire was a scoffer and as an unbeliever remarked “I’ll sell my place in heaven for a gold coin”, no one else was able to match his daring offering until a council member stood up and said, “Sir, anyone wishing to sell anything must first produce proof of ownership.  If you produce your title to a place in heaven, I’ll buy it for as much gold as you demand.”  This profound statement silenced this scoffer, who normally would have a witty answer.

It is up to us… God made us free-thinkers, so make the right choices.

  1. Do not give permission to the evil one. Did you know the devil cannot use you unless you grant your permission to allow him?
  2. Why the devil does want your soul? Because you are worth a  lot to Jesus
  3. The Power of Prayer

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said…John 14:3 And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

His Warning: Be aware of Jesus’ statement, He said ‘If”; why? Because while He was going, He would only build a place for those that are in Faith and the unbelievers would not be an heir to His Kingdom. (Therefore Voltaire the Atheist could not sell what he did not have the rights to.) Many of us read this and presumed that Jesus’ statement of Him going meant that ‘everyone’ would receive a ‘place’, there is no entitlement by default, and Jesus statement of “IF” was very specific to believers in Faith.

Only He (our Lord) knows the future…James 4: 14

14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

Conclusion:

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Important factor: Our Lord is not against you being rich, but all of what he has provided are to be used to honor our Lord, and He must receive the ‘First-Fruit’ He will not tolerate being offered the left-over.

Prayer: Our Father in Heaven in Jesus we come. Thank You Lord Jesus that through You our Savior we are made Joint-Heirs to Your Kingdom. Today we bring Your Salvation to the global community by Your will and am privileged to serve You Lord Jesus through this Good News network, Lord we pray that many that Visitors will be guided by Your Good News and that they will be brought to You Lord; as the angels will celebrate for every sinner that repents, Lord bless this day as we go forward in Faith and knowing that all our needs are provided and we give You thanks knowing that Your faithfulness and Your Covenant will never change. Devotional for Friday November 28, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:         If we could save ourselves then Christ would have died in vain… Inspite of our Sinful ways, He came to redeem us

TEXT:     1 John 1:8

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

1 John 1:10

If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

In Context | Full Chapter

Focus:    As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him

Text:

Psalm 103: 11-12
as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions (Sins) from us.
Psalm 103:11-13 (in Context) Psalm 103 (Whole Chapter)

11. For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
    so great is his love for those who fear him;

12. A far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

Commentary:

As far as the East is from the West…

The Bondage of Sin:  Let our Lord break this bondage and release us to the Joy of His Forgiveness.

Our Lord said that when we repent of our sins, He will not just mitigate them, He will cancel them and He will forget them. let us accept our Lord’s Word of ‘Removal’ and we too must also forget and move forward in Joy knowing that we are ‘Forgiven’ and not to re-live the sin as the evil one would like to repeat the Temptation in our memory as ‘his bondage of sin’.  We need to thank our Lord for the infinite statement of HIS Love, His forgiveness and above all His Redemption by His Grace.

To know of the Lord is one thing, but to know the Lord is the Real thing, to be Organically connected versus organizational conformity (just a member of a church) without the ‘Nearness’ to God and the ‘Oneness’ with Fellow Believers in Organic Unity, being deeply rooted in the Love of God is how we can grow and let the power of the Holy Spirit work in us.

Preface to Text:  Just like when David came to our Lord and sought Forgiveness, The Lord rendered to him what is granted to those that Fear the Lord as stated in Psalm 103: 11-12.

Psalm 51 NIV For the director of music. A psalm of David. When the prophet Nathan came to him after David had committed adultery with Bathsheba.

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.
Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight
so you are right in your verdict and justified when you judge
Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place.

Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity.

10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you.
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, you who are God my Savior, and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.
15 Open my lips, Lord, and my mouth will declare your praise.
16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.

18 May it please you to prosper Zion, to build up the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then you will delight in the sacrifices of the righteous, in burnt offerings offered whole; then bulls will be offered on your altar.

His Promise:

Hebrews 4:14–155 New International Version (NIV)

Jesus the Great High Priest

14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.

His Faithfulness: Romans 8:31
[More Than Conquerors] What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:30-32 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter

Coming to our Lord:

Hebrews 4: 16  Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need

  1. By His Grace we are saved
  2. By His Love, He died for our sins
  3. He is our Refuge
  4. He is our Redeemer
  5. He is the Holy Righteous
  6. He is Sovereig

Conclusion:

Earthly: Man’s wisdom is limited, we can’t make water, we can only treat it, we can catch it from condensation and say we are making water but we are not, we are still feeble and without the Heavenly Wisdom coming from our Lord Jesus, knowing that He paid it all… we would have no hope, so Heavenly Wisdom is by Faith in Jesus The Christ our Redeemer

Principle:

Jesus our Redeemer sets aside the Judgment of His Father.  Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. - Psalm 37:4  By Jesus’ coming as a Man for us, by His Glory and Grace we are Saved…

The Battle is the Lord’s

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Eternal Sovereign God in One of our Father and Creator and Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus; today we come to thank You for Your Love and Your Grace that provided Your Salvation by Your Resurrection to Life Ever-Lasting.  Lord we thank you for the privilege to serving and for our Visitors and above all Lord we thank You for Your Redemption from the condemnation that we deserve. Lord thank You for breaking the Bondage of sin and setting us free to be no more slave to the evil one, but by Your Grace we are saved and are given the rights to be called Children of the Almighty… Lord what a Privilege You have given us. We thank You Lord, and lift You up before all. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen

Devotional for Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:       Be at the Table of Grace, stay away from the table of greed God loves you so give Him thanks and Praise Him...

TEXT: John 6:25-27 Good News Translation (GNT)

Jesus the Bread of Life

25 When the people found Jesus on the other side of the lake, they said to him, “Teacher, when did you get here?”

26 Jesus answered, “I am telling you the truth: you are looking for me because you ate the bread and had all you wanted, not because you understood my miracles. 27 Do not work for food that spoils; instead, work for the food that lasts for eternal life. This is the food which the Son of Man will give you, because God, the Father, has put his mark of approval on him.”

Focus:  Give thanks for His Graciousness first, and then thank our Lord Jesus for His Providence. Remember the crowd that were following Jesus? He said you seek me because of the food that you received… while we are reflecting on this statement from Jesus, today we are thanking our Lord not just for the meal, the things that he provided, but above all we thank Him for Who HE is… He is the great I AM…  So Lord we thank You for remembering us, and Lord we thank You for Your unconditional love, we thank You for Your Redemption and Lord we thank You for the privilege of knowing You Lord Jesus.

Devotional:

Today as we dedicate this day to Thanking You Lord we acknowledge that You have throughout the year granted Your Divine Grace and we thank You Lord for the YOU as You Lord Jesus is our reward…

Matthew 26: 26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying,Drink ye all of it;

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Lord as You said…   Luke 22:19 [Full Chapter]

Then he took a piece of bread, gave thanks to God, broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in memory of me.”

Lord You have said:

EVENING:

Matthew 6 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Giving to the Poor and Prayer

6 “Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.

2 “So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 3 But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

5 “When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 6 But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

7 “And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. 8 So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.

9 “Pray, then, in this way:

‘Our Father who is in heaven,

Hallowed be Your name.

10 ‘Your kingdom come.

Your will be done,

On earth as it is in heaven.

11 ‘Give us this day our daily bread.

12 ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

13 ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.’]

14 For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.

Conclusion:

Good News -His Faithfulness:

 The Cure for Anxiety

Matthew 6: 25

25 “For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? 27 And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? 28 And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, 29 yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much moreclothe you? You of little faith! 31 Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ 32 For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and savior we come… Lord today as we thank You for Your Graciousness and Your Divide Redemption, Lord Your unconditional love for us we acknowledge. Because you know our heart knowing that we are no different from those that You mentioned that sought You because of what they received. Lord we acknowledge Your Divine Grace Your Sacrifice and that it is by Your Blood of Atonement that we are saved by your Grace.  Lord as we observe this day of giving thanks, we thank You Lord Jesus knowing that You Lord Jesus is Sovereign and Eternal and Lord Jesus we thank You for our Visitors and we thank You for Your Providence. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Focus: Consider that the Almighty came as a man so that He could be our friend and teach us His Precepts and to Redeem us.

Text: John 1: 1-5. The Eternal Word – Jesus was there at the Beginning of it all…

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

The Mission of Christ:

When God said..."Let there be Light" there appeared His SON, not the Sun, as the Sun was made a few days after when God creation the 'Firmament’...

'

Just think that many theologians and bible scholars are debating the Creation Days, is it 6,000 days or just 6 days? In Faith we accept that our Sovereign God could have done it in 6 Hours, but He made the Heavens, Earth, the living things and us in 6 Days, because he wanted the 7th Day to be His Sabbath. Just think how shallow these highly learned scholars are, if it they are basing their calculation on what Peter mentioned, that a day is like a 1000 Years, then the creation period would be 6,000 Years, if this is so, then the Sabbath would last 1000 Years. So are they driving around, going to work or are they in church for 1,000 Year observing the Sabbath? This theory alone points us to the Morning and Evening as a Day as the Bible said.  Are they disputing the inspired words of God?  Are they saying that the writer Moses knew nothing? Are they trying to rewrite the Bible?

The folly of man:

Man is still trying to predict the next Hurricane season, and every year the researchers have forecasted numerous storms, making claims based on our finite brain power. (With a high percentage of errors) Just think that the first computer was the UNIVAC in 1951 and used by the Census Bureau till 1970, The PC was introduced just 42 years ago, as the KENBAK-1 with 256 Bytes of Memory, and this had power to process about a page of today’s short memo. But these micro-processors were rudimentary and some toys today have more memory than what man rolled out as advanced technology.

Our ‘Advanced Technology’ is as good as the old newsprints of the 1800’’s, and not even as advanced in comparison to the stone tablets that Moses received. In fact the engraving on the Tablets that Moses received were probably done with Lasers with word emblazed of Ten Commandments.

His Faithfulness

This is why the simplest of Chorus... ‘Jesus loves me this I know’ rings the truest in teaching about our Lord Jesus, as it is based on FAITH. Faith is one of the highest mysteries declared by God as a ‘Power’ from Him.

Coming to the Lord:

What a privilege that He gave us, He not only said He would never leave us nor forsake us, He proved it by His Sacrifice at Calvary, just think Jesus the Son of the Most High died the death on a cross, a punishment reserved only for criminals… What an atrocious death to be imposed on a King? But He Rose Triumphantly! He Reigns Supreme, He said “Father forgive them for they know not what they do”… it like a mosquito stinging the feet of a bull elephant.  We still have not grasped the magnitude of His Great Sacrifice, so many of us are dazzled by the demands of this world, and we are placing ourselves in an un-necessary position by not making time to know our Lord, who is Faithful and ready to receive us and take care of us now and in the great beyond.

His Good News:

We have come a long way since 1971 in PC, but just think, Our Lord just “SPOKE” and it was done…. He is the Great “I AM” and “ IAM” is mentioned 719 times in the bible,  The frequency of “I AM” dominates; and this brings us to the fact that the Holy Bible is all about Jesus, THE CHRIST…. Our MESSIAH our Sovereign Eternal God.  Because He is the source of all good things, and the ‘Mysteries’ of our Eternal God is Infinite… by His personal guidance, Jesus was revealing to us a route that would lead to an abundant life through HIM.

His Assurance

When He said in Matthew 6: 33, He was giving us specific instruction how to navigate the maze of this world… He said in: Matthew 6:33

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:32-34 (in Context) Matthew 6 (Whole Chapter)

His Promise:

The Love of God is greater, stronger than any pledge or promises of mankind…. Our Lord Jesus is our incarnate Eternal God of our Father as God in One in His Holy Trinity. HE is Eternal, Jesus is the same Yesterday Today and forever.

Conclusion:

When all is said and done, life is just a vapor, we know very little about what’s in store for us tomorrow… But He has provided His Assurance that is more than the largest Insurance policy, as He offers Life-Everlasting in a Place of Splendor.

Many of us with the ‘Toys’ and the big homes and country club memberships will wonder what can God gives me that will compare to what I now have?  Think about Job, he had it all but he was humbled yet he never lost his faith in God… God restored it all beyond his wildest dreams.  Our Lord also said Eyes have not seen nor can we imagine what His Kingdom is like.

Revelation 21:18

The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure Gold, like clear glass. Revelation 21:17-19 (in Context) Revelation 21 (Whole Chapter)

So take heart, nothing we have here are to be considered permanent as all things are temporary… King Solomon found this out, he was the richest of the rich, and he wrote ‘All is folly’.

But the Best is Yet to come… a place of Splendor and Joy filled with the presence of our Sovereign Eternal Lord and Savior, a sinless place sanctified by His Holy presence, Jesus Messiah…

Action/Coming to our Lord:

So come to Him and make time like you would for the most important meeting today, your meeting with your supreme Lord and Savior

Prayer:

Father today we come in Your Holy presence through Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity. Lord Jesus Supreme maker of all things, and our Creator, as Your Father said…”Let us create’ You my Lord Jesus was there at the beginning of it all, and You are the Great “I AM”.  Lord today we thank You for the privilege of serving You and doing what You have called us to do, to proclaim Your Good News to the ends of the Earth. Lord we thank You for this privilege and Lord we seek Your divine Blessings on us all and for our Visitors to this Website, and Lord let Your Word bring many to You Lord. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore…. Amen.

Devotional for Tuesday November 25, 2014

MORNING:

Topic:  We are no longer slaves but His friends, Jesus said this…

Focus: Giving Thanks to our Lord for His Grace and His Providence in our lives. Regardless of any disappointment that we experienced in 2014 look at the positive side… You are here to acknowledge our Lord’s Priceless gift, and if you do not know about His Priceless Gift, let us tell you here.

Text: 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

New King James Version (NKJV)

8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—

Commentary:

As we draw near to the end of the year, we may have had a challenging time coping. For many 2014 will be a year that went by so quickly, we must remember that during the entire year our Lord loved us, and He interceded for us to The Father.  At no time did our Lord ever leave us nor forsake us.

What is His Priceless Gift?  The season of Advent marked the Birth of our Lord Jesus, and we must know that Jesus came for one reason.  His coming was to be our Redeemer, and by His redemption we have His ‘Priceless Gift’ of Life-everlasting.

While we were yet sinners Christ died for us...

Everyone needs His Priceless Gift, why, because ‘Life is a Vapor’ and even the ‘scoffers’ need the Lord and His Redemption, Why?  The Bible said… ‘It is appointed unto to man once to die, but after this there is the Judgment, therefore we really never dies, our physical body expires but our Soul lives on. So this being said everyone will be around to receive their ‘just’ rewards.

Our Lord came and Paid-It-All and by His Covenant, His ‘Priceless’ Gift sets us apart when we receive His Gift.

Jesus said… John 14:1-3

New King James Version (NKJV)

The Way, the Truth, and the Life

14 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

The Bible said… There will be no condemnation to us all who are in Christ Jesus:

Romans 8

New King James Version (NKJV)

Free from Indwelling Sin

8 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Principle: Romans 8: 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,  17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Romans 8: 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.  38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,  39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Romans 8:29

For those whom He foreknew, He also predestinedto become conformed to the image of His Son, so thatHe would be the firstborn among many brethren; In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Conclusion:

Don't be discouraged about the outlook of the coming year, the press constantly publish a perplexing anxiety driven news, why? Because ‘Bad-News’ sells paper.   Good News will probably sell more papers as people are hungry for good news…  but the human trait will apply the principle of apathy and ignore the Good News as it represent a good ‘status-quo’

The Good News is that Jesus is Sovereign, He is Eternal and He loves us!, and above all Jesus died and Rose Triumphantly and conquered death by taking all of our Sins on the Cross.  Yes, He died for our Sins, and he Rose from the tomb, and He Ascended to Heaven and He is on the Throne of Righteousness, and one day he will return.

Are you ready for His return? Today His Grace abounds, and His Salvation is readily available to be received.

So come to Him, and pray… Lord Jesus I am a Sinner, and I repent of my sin by accepting Your ‘Priceless-Gift, Lord Jesus Your Grace I receive and in You I place my trust. Lord direct my path as I seek a closer walk with you my Lord. I Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, Amen.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus thank You for coming and Thank You for Your Divine Redemption; Lord we thank You for our Visitors and the privilege of serving You Lord for Your Glory.  Lord we Praise You and we seek Your divine guidance as we go in Faith knowing that You will return Lord Jesus. In Your Holy name we Pray Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

There is one ‘Priceless-Treasure’ that you cannot buy, but you can possess it and it is not Transferable nor can you sell it, trade it of even give it away. Yet this ‘Priceless-treasure’ cannot be acquired for good conduct, nor is it given because you have done some noble thing of even saving another person’s life. It is given to us while we are undeserving of receiving this ‘Priceless Treasure’. While it is ‘Given’ we have to claim it and receive the Giver as He is the ‘Priceless-Gift’. So let us place this ‘Priceless-Treasure’ in a special place in our lives.

Devotional for Sunday November 23, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:         What do you have to be thankful for?  The ‘Priceless’ Gift is His most Treasured gift from our Lord Jesus

Focus:     What do we have to Give Thanks for? And to Whom do we thank?

Text:                       Philippians 4. 4-9

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Commentary:

Look at what we have to give Thanks to our Lord for:

  • Being Created in His Likeness
  • That God Loves us so much to have sent His Son Jesus
  • Jesus Came to Redeem us and He is coming again
  • To be Saved  by His Grace
  • To be free from condemnation
  • To have His Word that we will be with Him in Glory
  • That we can never be lost as no one can pluck us away from Him
  • To be given an Abundant Life here and forever

And because of the above Priceless Gifts, we can claim Victory in Him, and the Best is Yet to Come!

His Promise:

“Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Luke 12:6-7 NIV

Action:

Making our Lord Preeminent in our lives, because He is God.

Colossians 3:

Character of the New Man

12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

 Coming to our Lord:

Yesterday we spoke of While ‘Gold is still a precious metal, our Lord never placed a lot of emphasis on Gold’, but He did on Water, and the Water He mentioned was the ‘Water of Life”, Jesus said Whosoever drink of the Water that He would give, shall never thirst again…

A few week ago we spoke of having to provide ‘Proof of Insurance’ before you can drive a Leased car off the Lot, why? Risk of an accident… The same with life, we need to have some form of insurance for our healthcare, but the greatest risk is having the issuance of not being cast into utter darkness in the great beyond. Yes we can have His Assurance (notice the word is Assurance as in ‘Assure’) and this is our Lord Jesus’ Assurance that we are Redeemed (saved) by His Grace, Grace is ‘Un-Merited’ meaning we did not deserve the favor.

The Grace granted by our Lord is also a Priceless Gift because we cannot earn, buy of work our way to obtain this ‘Priceless Gift’ this is the Gift of Jesus’ Blood that He shed for our Sins. Blood is a Sacrament, and His Blood was Sacrificed for our Sins. But His Grace offering will expire and upon expiration the ‘Day of our Lord’ also known as Judgment day, it will be too late to receive His Pardon, therefore we need to have His Assurance to be covered by His Blood. You will say, how can I be sure if I accept Jesus by asking Him to redeem me? This ‘Act of Faith’ will reveal to you His Grace and as He said you will be a new creation… His Holy Spirit will come and dwell in you and guide you. Does this mean that I am no longer a sinner? No, but you are now redeemed and is ‘enlightened’ knowing that without His Redemption you are condemned, but now in Christ you are in Victory.

Just as He told the Samaritan woman at the well “go and sin no more”. You may ask what if I commit another sin. Because we are sinners, and are vulnerable to sin, we must confess and Repent of any Sin to our Lord and ask to be forgiven, but repetitive intentional Sinning is a Mockery to our Lord, and He will not be mocked.

Prayer is the ‘Pillar of Faith’ and coming to our Lord many times each day will strengthen us against the temptation, and He will make a way for us to overcome the wiles of the devil. Praise our Lord Jesus for He said…”Greater is He in you that who is in this world’ meaning by His Spirit in You can do all things through Him, Christ Jesus.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father we come in Faith knowing our Lord Jesus is our Mediator to You Father… Lord Jesus as You said Faith can move mountain… and the mountain in our lives are the temptation of this world that is a Broadway to utter darkness. Lord You have illuminated the way to You Lord be with our Visitors as we present You as the Light of the World, and by the eternal flame described by You Lord. Lord because of Your great Salvation of Your Redemption and Your Triumphant Resurrection we can by Your Grace be in Victory in You Lord Jesus. Lord the Good News of Your Resurrection that conquered death by Your Blood of Atonement, we are saved, let us share this Good News with many and we give You the preeminence in our lives Lord Jesus as we acknowledge Your Sovereign power sitting on the Throne of Righteousness at the Right-Hand of our Father and Creator. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus as our Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotion for Saturday November 22, 2014

MORNING:

Topic: Learn the ‘secret’ gain access to a double portion… Jesus said this and His Promises are Eternal

Focus:   Without God we can do nothing…  You may say well how about that famous rich person that is so worldly and rich? How did he acquire his wealth? Our Lord’s commissioned the Good-News to be brought to the Poor…  ‘The Poor in Spirit’

Text: Matthew 16:26

What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

Commentary: Jesus himself spoke of the rich man that was dressed in Purple robes and ate sumptuous meals daily , and then he died he was placed in a place of perpetual torment, and Lazarus who stood at his gate daily tattered and hungry that this rich man ignored was now sitting next to Father Abraham in heaven.

Richness and poverty were discussed by Jesus…

Jesus spoke about the poor widow that dropped her last coin in the offering plate… (She was poor in wealth but rich in Spirit)

•Luke 21:4 All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”

•Do not place your trust in wealth, trust in the Lord…

•1 Timothy 6:17 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.

•Being rich in the heavenly realms is far greater than being; wretched, pitiful, poor (in Spirit) and also blind and naked as described in…

•Revelation 3:17 you say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.

Principle: Luke 16:11

So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? †

Be a good custodian, use your worldly wealth for His Glory, and being a good steward means to be ‘Rich’ in His Holy Spirit by Delighting yourself in our Lord Jesus who makes all things possible for those who love Him.

EVENING:

Conclusion:

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Proverbs 8:18

With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity.  Proverbs 8:17-19

Proverbs 11:28

Those who trust in their riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf.

Isaiah 61: - Let us Delight Greatly in the Lord

61 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,     because the Lord has anointed me

to proclaim good news to the poor.

He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives

and release from darkness for the prisoners,

2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God,

to comfort all who mourn,

3     and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty

instead of ashes, the oil of joy     instead of mourning, and a garment of praise

instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness,

a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated;

they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.

5 Strangers will shepherd your flocks; foreigners will work your fields and vineyards.

6 And you will be called priests of the Lord, you will be named ministers of our God.

You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast.

7 Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace

you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land,

and everlasting joy will be yours.

8 “For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing.

In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them.

9 Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples.

All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed.”

10 I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God.

For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,

as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness  and praise spring up before all nations.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we delight ourselves in You Lord, Lord thank You for opening our eyes, Lord let me take delight in You and Lord let me repeat Your Words and not make them mine but to say Thus Saith my Lord…  Lord today as we come and give You first place in all things and, thank You for our Visitors; Lord Lead us all to still waters and Lord let us be in Green Pastures filled with Your Word of Life. Lord I thank You for Your promise and we seek to follow You Lord for Your Love is so great and Your Grace is so profound and Lord Your Greatness we see and Lord Your Majestic presence we look up to as we are all blessed to be here at this moment Lord Jesus.

Lord be with us today as we come and give You our Praises and Lord You have already overcome any challenges we may face, so Lord Jesus let us move ahead and implement Your Plans for the Expansion of Your Kingdom.  Lord let us lead in Your Holy Name so that others will be led to You Lord Jesus. We dedicate these websites to You for Your Glory and thank You for the many Visitors, bless each and everyone as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Monday November 25, 2014

MORNING:

Focus: This is what Jesus said... Do not worry, but seek Him and He also said... "I will never leave you nor forsake you"

Worrying will not solve the problem, to worry it will only compound the problem.  The Bible is full of God's instructions of how to overcome the challenges of this world. Here's a specific message from our Lord...

TEXT: Matthew 6: NIV
Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Matthew 5: AMP

12 Be glad and supremely joyful, for your reward in heaven is great (strong and intense), for in this same way people persecuted the prophets who were before you. [II Chron. 36:16.]

13 You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.

14 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
15 Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.

How are you living?

Living by….  ‘Economy of Scale’ or by ‘Economy of Grace’
In business the guideline of Economy of Scale is a widely used benchmark… in the economy of man we need this guide as resources are not limit less, in God’s economy, He applies the Economy of Grace as His Resources are limit less and in abundance…

Today as we address the commercialization of our Lord’s Birthday… Let the world know that Christmas is a season and it is a real purposeful day….

“BE STILL AND KNOW that I AM GOD;

I will be exalted among the nations;

I WILL BE EXALTED in the earth.”

Psalm 46:10 New International Version (NIV)

Stop and know that I am God…  What a profound statement to honor our Eternal God who made it all.

Guidance for Today... 1 John 4:4
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
This means that we can face our tempter by the Power of the Holy Spirit that dwells in us. We rebuke the evil one knowing that HE (Jesus) who is in us is greater than he that is in the world.

Titus 2: NKJV

Written by the Apostle Paul to Titus that was converted by Paul and later became a helper in spreading the Gospel in Crete, the fourth largest islands in the Mediterranean Sea. Titus accompanied Paul when they first introduced the people in Crete to Christ.

Trained by Saving Grace:
11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. 15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.

EVENING:
His divine Grace & Providence...
The Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose water do not fail
. Isaiah 58: 11 NKJV

Obedience: For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 1 John 5:3 NKV

His Faithfulness:
Conclusion… Lay up treasures in heaven, treasure are defined by extending the Love of Christ to others and to use that ‘Bag of Gold’ which is His Gospel of Good News of His Resurrection from death to life-everlasting, this Good News that He died for our sins so that we can be saved, and only by His Blood of Atonement, a divine action to Redeem us as His Grace extended to us while we are here right now, this grace expires when we dies or when Jesus returns, at any of these events, should one or the other occur before you have accepted Jesus as your Redeemer you will face the wrath of God… While our Lord is a loving God full of compassion, yet the scriptures said; ‘Our God is a God of consuming fire’ To accept Jesus pray in faith and acknowledge that He died and paid the penalty of our Sin. Why did He do this? Because we were born in Sin, from the sin handed down from Adam.  You see we will die, but our soul will live on forever, and Our Lord’s Grace extended here can Redeem us by coming to Him and asking Him to forgive you of your sins, and for Him to be your Redeemer and to be your Sovereign Eternal God, Jesus is One in the Trinity of the Father our Creator and as God in One, Jesus sits of the throne of Righteousness and until that day when we are taken into His Kingdom, He Intercedes for us to His Father, and as we come to Him in prayers, He will guide you and forgive you and as you seek him; His Holy Spirit will fill you and your spiritual walk with Him will grow.

Now as a new person in faith remember to use the “Bag of Gold’ that you will gain to bring others to Jesus, this is the explanation of his story, when He will say… ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

Lord we thank You for Your Redemption and lift You up before men knowing that we will never be ashamed in rusting You. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Messiah, to You be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Friday November 21, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:            The Best is yet to Come… This is a Promise and it is guaranteed by the best Insurer in the Universe and beyond

TEXT:      John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”

Commentary:

As we read the reason for His coming and the Priceless Gift that He offers, receiving this Gift is the first step to living an abundant life, as He promised that He would never leave us nor forsake us… He promised us an abundant life full of His blessings…

Here is what to expect, when we come and accept His Priceless Gift by acknowledging Him as our Redeemer, we are made in a new person, you say, I do not want to be any other person but myself, this is a choice, but   by coming to HIM, there will be a spiritual change that will remove the scales from our eyes and to allow us to see and receive the Blessings.

This is great news, that such a Priceless Gift is made available to everyone, but there’s also a time limit, as we are under HIS Grace, and Grace is something un-earned and can be pulled at any time. This is why the Lord said; ‘Today is the day of salvation’ now the bad news… if we do not accept His offer the future will be without that Life-everlasting that Jesus paid for at Calvary…

The time limit is clearly stated in the Bible… No one knows the time of our Lord’s return, only the Father, because our Lord Jesus is the ‘GREAT I AM’ and HE loved us so much that He sent His Son to die for us, as said in John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17: For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

God’s word above refers to the World, but in Verse 18, we will observe that the theme here was “Whoever”

John 3:18: Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

Focus:     Will Sinners be allowed in Heaven?  Yes, Will an enemy of God be allowed in Heaven? No, what is the difference?

Text:  Acts 4:12

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Commentary: To be a member of the Secret Service you have to be considered a loyal person, while one could ‘fake’ it and be a mole, it is impossible for anyone to assimilate into the body of Christ without Faith in Him. Faith cannot save you, but it is the ‘Testing barometer’ by which our Lord can see the inner you.  Only His Grace can Save us.

The difference of being a Sinner and an enemy… A Sinner in fact all sinners that have received Jesus as their Savior will be transferred to His Kingdom in the twinkling of an eye.  An enemy of the other hand can never darken the gates of Heaven, why? Enemies are intrinsically against the goodness of our Lord, and is considered filled with the evil forces.  An enemy is filled with ‘Enmity’ and enmity cannot be changed by exterior veneer. So the smiling ‘Bandit’ or deceiver can assimilate in our lives but never in the Kingdo0m of God.

The unforgivable sin is… Matthew 12:31

[The Unpardonable Sin] “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.

Unless we Surrender and be ‘True’ to our Lord Jesus, even in our sinful state Jesus will receive us when we commit it all to Him. Remember our Lord do not want or need anything from us, all He wants is our Faithfulness, no deceit, falsehood, posing or posturing can make us whole, only in Him we can be made ‘whole’  So with our Lord Jesus we cannot fake-it by repackaging ourselves

Our Lord Jesus is like the scanner at the Airport, but even at these scanner one can still beat the machines. With God who created us , He already knows that our ‘Righteousness is like a ‘filthy rag’ , this is quite insulting, as you say I just came out of the shower I was at the Spa all day and I am rejuvenated?  Yes you are unacceptable, the Lord’s Scanner will set of an alarm, because without His Blood of Atonement, we are blemished.

Jesus Paid-It-All, and His Blood of Atonement is the SEAL of His Righteousness that He gives us when we come to Him and accepts His Redemption. The Good News is… Jesus Christ rose Triumphantly and He Lives and because He lives, we shall also life with Life-Everlasting in His Kingdom of Splendor.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus take this day and let it be a day filled with Your peace and lead us to Green pastures and by Still Waters. As we go let us be a blessing to all in our path, Lord thank you for Your Grace and Your Divine Redemption. We give you first place in all things, and Lord your Providence is evidenced by Your love Lord. We pray in your Holy name Lord Jesus to you is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

                                                                                                 ****************

EVENING:

Keep Watching and remain Faithful brothers and sisters, remember, this is what we have coming as ‘The Best is Yet to Come’

In the twinkling of an Eye… we will be transformed into His Likeness…

1 Corinthians 15:52

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  Thank Your Lord Jesus… Amen

Conclusion: His Invitation:

Revelation 22:17

17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

Hebrews 3:15

15 As has just been said: “Today, if you hear his voice,

do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.”

Prayer: Come to the Lord today, to receive Him, right now you may just pray…

Lord Jesus You said come unto You all who are weary and heavy laden, Lord in Faith I come knowing that You said, “All those that call upon Your name Lord Jesus will be saved”… Lord by Your Grace and Your Blood I am saved by You as You Paid It All. Lord today let there be a turning point in my life, and let Your Holy Spirit fill me and guide me as I seek a closer walk with You my Savior. I commit my all and seek You as the Author and Finisher of my Faith; I pray in Your Holy Name my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Thursday November 20, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:          Rumors – The list of wars that are ongoing around the world are not ’Rumors’ they are physical-conflicts

Focus:    The coming Famine… It is a Famine of the Word of God.

A Brief Bio of Amos:  Amos was a contemporary of Hosea and Jonah. He lived in the town of Judah, close to Bethlehem and about 11 miles from Jerusalem. His writing is dated around 760-750 BC. This makes his statement below approximately 2,760 years in history. We read of the coming ‘Famine” of not a famine of food, but a famine of the words of the Lord.

The news item below is like a trickle that turns into a tidal wave and eventually a Tsunami, just like a ‘Spark’ that kindles into a forest fire, so will the suppression of the Gospel and the word of God be targeted.

Text:  Amos 8: 11
11 “The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign Lord,

“when I will send a famine through the land—
not a famine of food or a thirst for water,

but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord.
12 People will stagger from sea to sea
and wander from north to east,
searching for the word of the Lord,
but they will not find it.

News Item of importance:  “Man sent to prison for holding Prayer meeting in his house”

Commentary:

Human philosophy tries to answer questions as: “How did man develop into what he is at present? Or: “How did social conditions develop into their present state?” God’s word gives us the true answers... The present condition of the world system finds its real explanation in the corruption of human nature.

If man could be transformed back into a “Good” being, evil would cease to exist. But this is what the Bible said…Matthew 15:18
But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the manMatthew 15:17-19 (in Context) Matthew 15 (Whole Chapter)

Are we there yet?  The present condition of what our society faces, including the recent vote by the Episcopalians church on the issue of marriages… our President endorsing same sex marriages, the issue of planned parenthood (Abortion)  the intent of Iran aggressions towards the nation of Israel, and now  the financial challenges of Europe and our division within our government.  The confidence meter is certainly swayed by these factors. Are we there yet: as He said… just like in the day of Noah,

Matthew 24:37
As it was in the dayof Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
Matthew 24:36-38 (in Context) Matthew 24 (Whole Chapter)

His Promise:  Our Lord said there will be wars, and rumors of wars, nation will rise up against each other. Knowledge will increase, and people will be moving to and from… Historically we had wars in Syria, and today we have a civil war in this same place, why because of the one factor… Mankind, really nothing has changed as the behavior of the human race continues with the principle of an inherent factor… Sin

His Faithfulness: God loves us all, regardless of our background, and this is the Good News to all, Jesus came to save Sinners, and regardless of us being: a Moslem, an Atheist, Jewish of a non-believer, Christ died for the sins of all, you may notice that Christian was not among the mix, why we are called Christians only after one has some to the Lord, being born in a so-called Christian society do not make one a Christian.

His Faithfulness: 2 Kings 4-8

New International Version (NIV)

The Widow’s Olive Oil

The wife of a man from the company of the prophets cried out to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that he revered the Lord. But now his creditor is coming to take my two boys as his slaves.”

Elisha replied to her, “How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?”

“Your servant has nothing there at all,” she said, “except a small jar of olive oil.”

Elisha said, “Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don’t ask for just a few. Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons. Pour oil into all the jars, and as each is filled, put it to one side.”

She left him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring. When all the jars were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another one.” But he replied, “There is not a jar left.” Then the oil stopped flowing.

She went and told the man of God, and he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left.”

Principle: Jesus Christ the same Yesterday, Today and Forever… He is Faithful and He loves us so much to have died as a Sacrifice for our Sins, and He Rose from death, seen by thousands, and this is  among the most verified facts of all times. HE LIVES….

His Warning:  Remember our Lord said: “Vengeance is Mine” but He is ready to receive you by His Grace by His Resurrection He conquered death.

Action:  Because we are made in His likeness, we also shall never die, the Bible said, “after death, the Judgment”, this means that death in the early realms but in the spiritual realms, we shall live, so therefore; choose where we will spend eternity, He has given us His Salvation, the Good News is; He is ready to receive you now, and His Salvation is fully paid for by Him at Calvary.

Coming to our Savior: He said come unto Him and He will give us rest…

Prayer:  Heavenly Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer our Lord and Savior and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity. Lord Jesus today as we seek You and come in Your Holy presence, Lord let this day be filled with Your Grace, Gracious Savior, we thank You for our Visitors and Lord grants us safety and to you be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore.. Amen

To God be the Glory…

Devotional for Wednesday November 19, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:                  The most expensive Zip Codes in the USA, and the least sought after place of abode…

Focus:    Topic: What is your Zip Code? What will your Zip Code or Country code when you leave this earth?

Text: John 14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Jesus Comforts His Disciples

14 “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. 3 If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also

Commentary:  Where you live matters to some people, we shouldn’t let their opinion bother us.  It’s like driving an old model car and you parked and walk up to your friends, they may wonder why is he driving that 12 year old vehicle, You already know that in a few months you will be getting a new car, so this should not bother you.  The same where you currently live should not be a concern as you already know that your future address will be the ultimate place.  In the USA the so called most popular Zip Code is Beverly Hills CA90021 , but in this zip code it will be a hard task finding a home that would be considered the ideal family homestead where many generations of families grew up lovingly.

The ultimate Zip Code will be Kingdom-1 The place where our Lord Jesus called Paradise. On the day of the crucifixion the repentant thief turn to Jesus as said… Lord remember me when you come into Your Kingdom, Jesus answered and said, and “Today you will be with me in Paradise”.  The transition from earth to ‘Paradise’ is through a ‘Passageway’ which all in Christ will have access to…

The least sought after place to like would be hell, as it would not be really ‘Living’ but to some right now they describe their living conditions as a ‘Living-Hell’… but here the real ‘Hell’ will be a dying Hell where sinners will rally want to die but never dying… So choose your Zip Code carefully by coming to Christ today…

What is the Passageway?

Maybe man will never really be able to map the passageway out of this world, other than the event of dying.  Christ’s ascension is still the only documented event, other than the storyline of ‘Beam me up Scotty” (credit: the television series “Star Trek®”)

Man in his quest to enter space uses rockets that defy gravity but it takes tons of fuel burnt in stages, and eventually reaching lower orbit. We have probes that are in space powered by small reactors, but their journey is still finite.   The late Carl Sagan’s description of the Galaxy was infinite Billions, Billions, and more Billions...

All of the reported sighting of what is described as Aliens’ crafts appear and disappear effortlessly as though they came and exited through a passageway, or a wormhole or some cloaking device… we have the Worldwide Web, Google-Earth® and all the giants of information, but still we cannot go beyond rung two on the ladder out of this world.

Where did He reveal how to access this Passageway?

Way back in what we refer to as the “OLD” Testament, which I prefer it to be known as Part-1 of the Holy Bible, we find that Moses did not cross into the Promised Land after the 40 years of shuffling around in the desert they eventually reached Canaan, and saw the lush green land that God promised, but Moses never got there.

In Part 2 of the Holy Bible (The New Testament) we read that Moses and Elijah appeared to Christ. Luke 9: Verse 28   28About eight days after Jesus said this, he took Peter, John and James with him and went up onto a mountain to pray. 29As he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning. 30Two men, Moses and Elijah, 31appeared in glorious splendor, talking with Jesus. They spoke about his departure, which he was about to bring to fulfillment at Jerusalem.

Maybe Moses did not enter into Canaan, but he was directed through a PASSAGEWAY…  The complexity of the universe created by our Creator is an awesome working and functioning wonder, and as we Look back at the departure of Elijah ….  we read in 2 Kings 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

Elijah departed on board a ‘Chariot of Fire’, a description as a chariot; as all vehicles were then known as Chariots.  Our Lord rode on a Donkey on Palm Sunday as this was the preferred mode of transportation back then.

Principle: Romans 10:13 (NASB) for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Luke 23:43

And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.”

EVENING:

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Revelation 2:7

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God.’

Conclusion:

On His return Jesus will be seen from the East to the West, and I believe that when this event occurs, he will not be riding in a Model T Ford or DC3 or even the latest Raptor Stealth. (This is one of the U.S. Air Force latest Fighter Jets]

Somehow, explorers and archeologists have never located the remains of Christ.  But when it comes to Buddha, it is a documented fact that we know he was buried and remain buried.  All other spiritual leaders, the revered leader of Islam also died and is known to be buried on earth.

Jesus’ Resurrection is the first hint and the reality of the Passageway… Science cannot accept this as such an event may be too advanced for our thinking. The second was the ascension of Jesus to heaven.

Acts 1:9 [The Ascension] And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

Coming to the Lord:

The apostle Paul spoke of Paradise also…. 2 Corinthians 12 (NASB)

Paul’s Vision

12 Boasting is necessary, though it is not profitable; but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a man was caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I know how such a man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows— 4 was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak. 5 On behalf of such a man I will boast; but on my own behalf I will not boast, except in regard to my weaknesses. 6 For if I do wish to boast I will not be foolish, for I will be speaking the truth; but I refrain from this, so that no one will credit me with more than he sees in me or hears from me.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus I come, Lord Jesus today as we gather in Your Holy Name Lord, we are privileged to our Father through You Lord Jesus.  Lord because You are on the Throne of Righteousness and by Your Grace we thank You Lord for interceding for us. Lord we pray for many to call upon Your name Lord as Your Word said all who call will be saved. Lord let the messages of the Good News be spread to the ends of earth that many will come to know You Lord. Lord we seek Your Divine Blessings on our Visitors as we lift You up before all our Sovereign Eternal God. Lord Your Divine Ascension is still unmatched as only You are able as we look to Your return when all shall see and every knee shall bow. Lord we thank you for our Visitors and your Redemption knowing that there will be no condemnation for those in You Lord Jesus. Lord be with is all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Devotional for Tuesday November 18, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:  We are all a ‘Diaspora’ of some sort. Why? Wide-Spread changes are making many feel like we are a foreigner.

TEXT:     Romans 5:12
Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ ] Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—
Romans 5:11-13 (in Context) Romans 5 (Whole Chapter)

Focus:    Look what our fore-parents gave up for what we have today? They squandered it for a lifetime of challenges,

Theme:  By one man Sin entered the world, our Creator was not surprised by Adam & Eve of their falling for the serpent’s temptation.  The Good News is that God forgave us and gave us His Priceless Gift, that, but… ”we must receive it to own it”.

Genesis 2: 15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

While Adam and Eve were casted out of the Garden of Eden, they were not classified as Diaspora as they were not driven out by adversity, they were ‘displaced’ because of Sin…

The Good News for us all:

His Priceless Gift: This is the reason why He came to Redeem us… Because He said “you will certainly die, He has “All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation." - II Corinthians 5:18-19

Commentary

We who are believers need to do our part as the commission of our Lord was to proclaim His message of; Good News that He Rose Triumphantly and HE is alive on the Throne of Righteousness and He is waiting to receive those that come to Him for His Redemption.

There’s so much to tell, as we recite the key things we all need to know:

  1. God Created the Heaven and the Earth
  2. God Created us in His Likeness
  3. Because we are Created in the Likeness of God, we too shall live forever.
  4. Jesus is the Son of God and He is Supreme and was there from the beginning of it all
  5. Because we are descendants of Adam, we are all born into Sin.
  6. The Good News is: God Sent His Son Jesus to Redeem us
  7. Jesus Paid It All by His Blood of Atonement.
  8. The Grace of our Lord is extended to us all, and right now is the time of Acceptance
  9. If we Accept our Lord Jesus and repent of our Sin, He will Redeem us by His Blood as a Seal and as a Down/Payment for our Redemption that we will be with our Lord in a Place of Splendor forever.
  10. We also need to let it be known; that while our Lord is a Lord of Love, A Gracious Redeemer and a Patient God, He is also a God of Consuming Fire…
  11. Our Lord said that when we are saved by His Grace we will never be lost, but we must know Him and have a close walk with our Lord; as He will meet all our needs and He will never leave us nor forsake us.

We can come to our Lord Jesus right where we are and he will receive us, and we can have His assurance that we will be saved by His Blood

Why did He come to Redeem us?

As we journey through this life, with a life-span of 70-80-90 or even a hundred years old…we needs to stop and Know that He is God; as the bible said; what is Man? That You are mindful of him?  Alexander the Great (356-323 BC) who conquered the Persian Empire, into Egypt and India, died at age 33, at his death he requested that his hands were not to be wrapped and they were to be visible showing that his hands were “Empty” a bold statement while he gained much in life, but in death he could not take anything with him. Let us be mindful of this…

Hebrews 2:6
But there is a place where someone has testified: “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him?
Hebrews 2:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 2 (Whole Chapter)

His warning…

John 8:44
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Isaiah 1:24

24 Therefore the Lord, the Lord Almighty,
the Mighty One of Israel, declares:
“Ah! I will vent my wrath on my foes and avenge myself on my enemies.

EVENING:

Conclusion: Jesus Made Fully Human

Hebrews 2: 5-10 NIV

It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking. But there is a place where someone has testified: “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him?  You made them a little lower than the angels; you crowned them with glory and honor   and put everything under their feet.” In putting everything under them, God left nothing that is not subject to them. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to them. But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.10 In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered.

Invitation:

Romans 8:11 New International Version (NIV) 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

His Assurance:

Romans 5:11 New International Version (NIV)

11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
Matthew 26: 41 NIV

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come to You knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and You intercedes for us, Lord. Lord be with our Visitors today and fill us all with Your Holy Spirit and direct our pathways as we seek to be led by Your divine guidance as the Author and Finisher of our Faith.  And by Faith we come and accept You Lord klnowi9ng that all things work for good to those that love You, and in acknowledgement of Your Word, that You will never leave us nor forsake us, Lord we give You the Praise and to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory, now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Monday November 17, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:   Carrying the Word hidden in our hearts, do like Blaise Pascal, he sewed the word into his garment for his lifetime

TEXT:     Psalm 119:16Good News Translation (GNT)

16 I take pleasure in your laws;
your commands I will not forget.

Focus:    No one is immune to the constant battle of temptation, the evil one is always lurking and we have to be on the watch, this is why the Text said…”Your Word I have hid in my heart that I may not sin against you”

Who is Blaise Pascal: he was a French mathematician, physicist, inventor, a writer and Christian philosopher. Pascal was the inventor of the first Calculator a machine that he developed.

Pascal said… There is a God shaped vacuum in the heart of every man which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by God, the Creator, made known through Jesus.

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Our Lord has no ‘Ulterior-motive’ He said all you have to do is ‘come unto to Him’ In God’s equation there is no Fee for service, He said come and buy ‘without money’

Devotional:

We read about Blaise Pascal who sewed the Bible verse of Psalm 119:16: "I will not forget thy word. Amen." He seems to have carefully sewn this document into his coat and always transferred it when he changed clothes; a servant discovered it only by chance after his death.

Coming to the Lord:

1] We are not perfect, so me must Obey Him and we need a Redeemer, and 2] knowing that God is always at work progressively accompanying His plan for us, ‘In-Us’ and ‘through-Us”

Romans 12:1New King James Version (NKJV)

Living Sacrifices to God

12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Titus 3:5, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

Hebrews 9:14, 14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Galatians 3:27, 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

2 Corinthians 1:21-22; Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee

Titus 3:6, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,

Romans 3:25, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,

EVENING:

1 Peter 2:9; 9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Revelation 1:5-6 5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.

To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Conclusion:

With God when we Accept His Salvation by knowing Him, His ‘Grace’ is bestowed on us, and even when we accidently fall, we are still covered, this does not mean that because you are now covered by his Grace we can freely sin.  The Bible said…  Ephesians 2:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Know that… Romans 3:23

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

His Love for us and His Faithfulness…

Romans 5:8  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Prayers: Heavenly Father, in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus we Praise You today knowing that You have said...”No one comes to the Father unless through Your” Lord we thank you for this privilege that one day we too shall use that ‘Passage-way’ that only You Lord Jesus is our ‘Guiding-Light’ that provides that passage-way to You Lord. Lord Your Preeminence we accept and in faith we acknowledge that You were there with the Father before all things, as You said:  "And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began". Lord Jesus we are in awe that we can come into Your Holy presence and that You came to Redeem us. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Grace, we love You Lord Jesus, we adore You and we Praise You and look to that day when we shall see You as You are Lord Jesus.  Lord today as we go in faith, we thank You for allowing us to reach our many Visitors and we ask Your Divine blessing on us all as we pray that there will be a celebration in heaven over just one who comes to know You Lord.  Be with us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Sunday November 16, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:  The Power that He endowed to us all, it is the little ‘un-marked’ switch in our brain that we never used

TEXT:     Luke 24: The Road to Emmaus

13 And behold, two of them were going that very day to a village named Emmaus, which was about seven miles from Jerusalem. 14 And they were talking with each other about all these things which had taken place. 15 While they were talking and discussing, Jesus Himself approached and began traveling with them.

Commentary:  Today as we journey to our destination, where are you headed?  I would hope that we are all headed to a ‘Victory celebration’.  On the road to Emmaus the two disciples were in mourning, but their mourning was turned to JOY…

How many of us listen to the traffic report before taking the route to work or school?  The event of the disciples walking on the road to Emmaus was a ‘lonely’ journey, but in their midst was Jesus who they did not recognize, but over the seven mile trek, they were ‘tested’ by Jesus.

Luke 24:

16 But their eyes were prevented from recognizing Him. 17 And He said to them, “What are these words that you are exchanging with one another as you are walking?” And they stood still, looking sad. 18 One of them, named Cleopas, answered and said to Him, “Are You the only one visiting Jerusalem and unaware of the things which have happened here in these days?” 19 And He said to them, “What things?” And they said to Him, “The things about Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word in the sight of God and all the people, 20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to the sentence of death, and crucified Him.21 But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel.

Indeed, besides all this, it is the third day since these things happened. 22 But also some women among us amazed us. When they were at the tomb early in the morning, 23 and did not find His body, they came, saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said that He was alive. 24 Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just exactly as the women also had said; but Him they did not see.” 25 And He said to them, “O foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into His glory?” 27 Then beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures.

28 And they approached the village where they were going, and He acted as though He were going farther. 29 But they urged Him, saying, “Stay with us, for it is getting toward evening, and the day is now nearly over.” So He went in to stay with them. 30 When He had reclined at the table with them, He took the bread and blessed it, and breaking it, He began giving it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight. 32 They said to one another, “Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?” 33 And they got up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found gathered together the eleven and those who were with them, 34 saying, “The Lord has really risen and has appeared to Simon.” 35 They began to relate their experiences on the road and how He was recognized by them in the breaking of the bread.

Other Appearances

36 While they were telling these things, He Himself stood in their midst and *said to them, “Peace be to you.” 37 But they were startled and frightened and thought that they were seeing a spirit. 38 And He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39 See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.”

40 And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet.41 While they still could not believe it because of their joy and amazement, He said to them, “Have you anything here to eat?” 42 They gave Him a piece of a broiled fish; 43 and He took it and ate it before them.

44 Now He said to them, “These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” 45 Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, 46 and He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things. 49 And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”

The Ascension

50 And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. 51 While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven. 52 And they, after worshiping Him, returned to Jerusalem with great joy, 53 and were continually in the temple praising God.

EVENING:

While Jesus was showing His hands and feet the disciples did not believe it was Jesus, so He asked for something to eat. This proved that he was not a Spirit, Jesus was alive, He took the fish and ate it.  Remember Jesus told Pilate…”I am not of this world”. His ‘Ascension’ is yet another feat that man cannot comprehend, (except for Star-Trek the science-fiction series)

Our All-Powerful Infinite God was ‘carried-up’ into heaven.  The theory of Teleportation is something physicists are saying that moving from point ‘A’ to point “B” in an instantaneous moment may be a possibility.  So our infinite mind is intrigued by this theory.  Somewhat like the men that stated to build the ‘Tower of Babel’ to reach heaven.  Somehow we are still in the ‘Quantum-Mystery’ Mode, as we are still talking of taking the theory to the Thesis.

Looking back at the Tower of Babel… primitive man thinking they could use Bricks with Tar as the mortar to build a stairway to heaven, today man in our modern day are thinking of how we may be ‘Teleported’ to another time zone?

Jesus said... “I am not of this world” and He was ‘Teleported’ back to the Father in Heaven.  Is the Bible giving us the clues to the future

What do we want to conquer?  Jesus already made us Conquerors, and we are already ‘chosen’ and are Heirs to a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, not made by human hands. Being Heirs with our Lord Jesus who is God Incarnated (Remember no one has ever seen God) will we possess the ability to understand the rules that govern the atoms? And Quantum Mechanics? We may never understand it, but He will allow us to one day be ‘Teleported’ to Him. He already used it, He created the Universe from nothing.

Many of the Physicists that are developing Quantum Mechanics say that it is still a theory to teleport the ‘Particles’ and it could misfire… Our God has already made and operates a Teleport, this is described when the Bible said…”To be absent from the Body but be with the Lord”

Scientists says that there is still a gaping hole in Quantum Physics, (The word ‘Mystery’ is routinely used by many researchers) The top Physicists can all agree that there is a missing link that is still a mystery.  Let’s tell them that the Missing-Link is God!

Man’s quest to achieve Quantum-Physic and taking the theory of Faster than light to achieve a new dimension is not a theory, as the Good News is; God already provided this to each and every one of us.

Topic:  Are we God’s Children?

Text:  Romans 8:16

New International Version (NIV)

16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

Commentary:

Just to think that God said… Genesis 1:26 New International Version (NIV)

26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image,

While God spoke the World into existing by saying let there be Light…and there was Light!, but when it came to man, He said ‘Let Us”  this means that He and His Son actually ‘Made’ Man…

26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

27 So God created mankind in his own image,
            in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.

28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.

31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

He made us more important than… the Stars, consider the heavens that is filled with billions of Galaxies… The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) site estimates there are hundreds of billions of galaxies in the universe. A recent German super-computer simulation estimates that the number may be as high as 500 billion!

Consider that up to 500 billion galaxies… and we humans are the only ‘Hand-Made’ creation made by God Himself!  Scientists’ recently determined that most of the Milky Way's stars—100 billion is the most conservative estimate—have one or more planets, the researchers reported in Nature Wednesday. None of the planets detected so far appear suitable for conventional carbon-based life as known on Earth.

Man in our quest to conquer space should be more cognizant of our Almighty God than anyone else, but are we?  The Bible said, when our Lord returns His coming will be seen from the east to the west just like a Lighting flash that is seen in the entire sky…

His Promise:

Ephesians 1:11-23 New International Version (NIV)

11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

His Faithfulness:

For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. - 1 Peter 1:23

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Remembering that Jesus our Lord is God in One, and He was there from the beginning of it all.  When we come to Jesus and know Him as our Lord and Savior, we are passed from death to Life-Everlasting.   Not only will we be saved, but we are now Joint Heirs in Christ.

“I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior. I have revealed and saved and proclaimed— I, and not some foreign god among you. You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “that I am God.” Isaiah 43:11-12 NIV

Conclusion:

None of the planets detected so far appear suitable for conventional carbon-based life as known on Earth

Our Lord made a very ‘Exclusive community’ for us humans.  The original Garden of Eden was intended to be home to Man… but we all know the answer here, we were evicted, and God’s plan for us was changed, so we were ‘Down-sized’ to our little apartments, and even what we call ‘Luxury homes’ are not sustainable as can see the old grand ‘Estates’ of what was built by our so called tycoons, these old ‘grand’ mansions are just museum pieces that cost a lot of money to upkeep.

What man squandered was… a way of life that we can never attain unless?  We are approved by Him (our Lord) to be reinstated in the Restored Eden.  To be ‘Reinstated’, we need His Redemption, this means to be redeemed from the bondage of Sin, and receiving His Seal of Salvation.

The Seal of Salvation is still a mystery, just like the finite vision of man looking to outer Space, and guessing what’s out there. This is where one of God’s greatest Power granted to Man which is known as FAITH to allow us to transition to His Kingdom when He calls us home; Jesus said… “If we have Faith like a Mustard Seed, we can move mountains”

Luke 17:6
He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.
Luke 17:5-7 (in Context) Luke 17 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Savior and our Eternal God we come, Lord Jesus as You are on the Throne of Righteousness we give You our Praises and lift You up before men for Your Glory.  Lord today we seek You and know that apart from You Lord, there is no other Savior, and we are Your witnesses. Lord bless this day as we go in Faith and thank You for the privilege of serving You. Lord bless us all and our Visitors and grant us Your Favors and to all that seek Your divine guidance. Devotional for Friday November 14, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:   God’s message for us to work smart… Moses gaining insight from his father-in-law a servant of the Lord

TEXT:     Exodus 18: 13 And so it was, on the next day, that Moses sat to judge the people; and the people stood before Moses from morning until evening. 14 So when Moses’ father-in-law saw all that he did for the people, he said, “What is this thing that you are doing for the people? Why do you alone sit, and all the people stand before you from morning until evening?”

15 And Moses said to his father-in-law, “Because the people come to me to inquire of God.16 When they have a difficulty, they come to me, and I judge between one and another; and I make known the statutes of God and His laws.”

17 So Moses’ father-in-law said to him, “The thing that you do is not good. 18 Both you and these people who are with you will surely wear yourselves out. For this thing is too much for you; you are not able to perform it by yourself. 19 Listen now to my voice; I will give you counsel, and God will be with you: Stand before God for the people, so that you may bring the difficulties to God. 20 And you shall teach them the statutes and the laws, and show them the way in which they must walk and the work they must do.

21 Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. 22 And let them judge the people at all times. Then it will be that every great matter they shall bring to you, but every small matter they themselves shall judge. So it will be easier for you, for they will bear the burden with you.23 If you do this thing, and God so commands you, then you will be able to endure, and all this people will also go to their place in peace.”

24 So Moses heeded the voice of his father-in-law and did all that he had said. 25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people: rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. 26 So they judged the people at all times; the hard cases they brought to Moses, but they judged every small case themselves.

Focus:    Moses was leading over 2 million people, Livestock and all their possessions.  Now let us picture this… Moses and millions were displaced in a strange land, and all the people could be classified as ‘former-slaves’ under the Egyptians.  Therefore, there were no ‘self-starters’ only a lot of dependencies looking to Moses as their leader.

Are you prepare for such an assignment as what Moses had?  The reality of such an event as the Exodus described is an awesome human tragedy and triumph in History.  The harsh reality is… right now there are many ‘Exodus’ continuing as Christians are fleeing their countries because of religious warfare. These are the new Diaspora of the world.

Thank God for many ‘Moses’ who played many important leading role in history.  We can reflect back on the life of one in particular that led many to Christ, and planted a seed that is still bearing fruit for the Lord…

Hudson Taylor a bold and ambitious 21 year-old started on his quest to serve the Lord in China, founding China Inland Mission ‘CIM’ China Inland Mission founded, 25 June 1865 in Brighton Beach, Sussex, England

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Today CIM continues as OMF reaching the world. We pray that our Lord continues to bless the many dedicated members of OMF.

Coming to the Lord:

Today we are reviewing the crossing of the Red Sea, and providing ‘Proof-Positive’ of this even. TO SEE THE PICTURES GO TO “BIBLE FACTS” PAGE. (CLICK ON THE TAB ABOVE)

CHARIOTS IN RED SEA: 'IRREFUTABLE EVIDENCE'

'Horse and human remains strewn like battlefield wreckage'

Coral-encrusted object in Red Sea could be ancient Egyptian chariot wheels

A news report that stunned the world nine years ago about the discovery of possible ancient chariot wheels at the bottom of the Red Sea is suddenly gaining fresh attention with new video claiming “irrefutable evidence” that corroborates the find.

In June 2003, WND interviewed Bible enthusiasts who dove the waters of the Red Sea, alleging they found and photographed parts of chariots that may be the actual remains of the catastrophe brought upon the Egyptian army which pursued the Israelites, according to the Book of Exodus in the Bible.

Prayer:

Lord today as we consider the billions coming to You all at once, Your Divine Omniscience and You our Almighty God, Lord Jesus knowing that before Abraham You was, and as we tell the world of Your Preeminence by the Divine saying of Your Father… Let there be Light and there You were our Lord and Savior… Jesus Messiah, today we boldly bring You to the world and give You First-Place knowing that You have said that You will never leave us nor forsake us.

Lord Jesus thank You for the privilege of serving You for Your Glory, Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we Pray in Your Holy Name and to You Lord Jesus be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Thursday November 13, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:                   The Fulfilment of the Law by His Amazing Grace

The Day of our Lord…. What a day it will be!

Text:                 2 Peter 3:10  [The Day of the Lord]

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

Commentary:

What is the Day of the Lord? This is the day when His Grace ends, what do we mean by this? Before answering this, let’s first look at the meaning of Grace; a: unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification

b: a virtue coming from God, c: a state of sanctification enjoyed through divine grace. (From the Merriam-Webster)

We see that His Grace is undeserved by us, why do we need His Grace? Because we are all sinners. Why am I called a sinner? Because we are all descendants of Adam, and when Adam & Eve sinned, God evicted them from the Garden of Eden. But God made a way for us to be Redeemed by His Son, Jesus (Read more about the supremacy of Jesus in John 1, Hebrews 1 & Ephesians 1), as He is God in One of our Father) Now His Grace granted to allow us to receive Him exists at this time, but the expiration date will be by one of two means.  One way if you die before accepting Him, and secondly, when He Returns which is known as the Day of The Lord.

2 Peter 3:10  [The Day of the Lord]

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

2 Peter 3:9-11 (in Context) 2 Peter 3 (Whole Chapter)

In the last daysWe read today from the writing of the Apostle Peter, who was considered an authoritative follower of Christ.  Peter’s first letter was written around 60 to 64 AD His second letter known as 2nd Peter was written between 65 and 68 AD.   He was martyred during the reign of Nero.  Peter had the zeal to bring the teaching of living for Christ, in 2 Peter 1: 3, he was making a calling to be aware of:

Verse 3:  “His divine Power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him (Jesus Christ) who called us by His own glory and goodness”.

Comment: Just like the messages of today, we are reaching out to all to remind ourselves of what is quoted below:

Reading from: 1 Peter 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.

10 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, 11 and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Comments:  Peter’s strong statement of Faith, Love, Goodness, Godliness Brotherly Kindness and making our calling and election to ensure that if we do these things we will never fail…

His Promise:

From the day of Creation God provided us with the goodness of His creation and gave us dominion over all living things. Just imagine, the creation of Heaven and Earth were made for Mankind… just think that God in His Infinite Wisdom by His Intelligent design did all this for us. Why” because He loves us... But we betrayed His trust and sin entered the lives of humans, now as descendants of Adam we inherited this blemish called Sin.  But nothing surprises our Majestic God; He provided a way for us to be redeemed by the Blood of Jesus. Jesus, who was with God and the Holy Spirit from the beginning of it all, Jesus was predestined to be our Redeemer.

His Faithfulness:

God placed us here to enjoy the worship of him and the intimacy of his love for us
This is the big joy that he gave us so forget the short term pitfall disguised as joy
2: God named his creation i.e. Light, the expanse Sky, and he separated the darkness from light and the water from dry land.

  • God named it all,
  • The defining focus of God is Love not power
  • God brings order
  • God commanded; us to be fruitful and multiply
  • God blesses His living beings
  • God gave us lordship over all living things and dominion over earth

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Our name was written down in the book of life
But before we were redeemed our common name was known as "sinner" but after we are saved our name is changed and entered into the lamb's book of life
God knows who we are and he made us to be a child of His

We are part of his master plan John 1: 12

John 1:12

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,

Conclusion:

Principle God knows us by a name…. ‘Sinner’ even before we were born, but this common name was changed to “Redeemed’ and because of His Redemption by His Blood of Atonement, we are now Joint Heirs to His Kingdom. What a Privilege! As the Scriptures said…

Romans 8: 1-4 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Deliverance from Bondage

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Prayer:

Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus in awe we come knowing that all things were created by You as The Father Spoke and You acted in His Holy Spirit. Lord today we come to You seeking Your Divine Blessings and Your guidance, as we say that Your Hands are ‘Over’ us, and not in what we do, as You Lord do not need help, so we place all things in Your Hands and look to You knowing that all things are possible for those who trust in You Lord. Lord Your Unconditional love abounds in what you have created for mankind, Lord today let us be good-stewards of Your mission and bless our Visitors coming to this Website. We pray in Your Precious Name Lord Jesus, to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Wednesday November 12, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:                   God gave us His commandments to; ‘not do’; and the commandment ‘to do’…

TEXT:     Colossians 1: 12-18 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Focus:                    The epic event of God calling Moses to the mountain and giving the tablets with the commandments, an even that has never been repeated. As we look at the life of Moses, we can draw many parallels of the life of Jesus, these are presented below:

Time, experience of:            Events                                    Transition                              Mission                                 Accomplishment

Moses                                      In a basket on the river            To a Palace                             To lead His people                  Building a Nation

Jesus                                       Born in a lowly Stable              From Heaven (Paradise)        To Redeem us all                   Building His Kingdom

Moses                                      Abandoned the Palace            became a Shepherd                Called by God                          Given the Commandments

Jesus                                       Sent by God the Father           God Manifested in Christ         To conquer death                    Died & Rose Triumphantly

Moses                                      Led 2 Million to Canaan           Crossing the Red Sea             Empowered by God Mission Accomplished

Jesus                                       Spending 33 years                  Teaching, Healing, Blessing    To reveal His Kingdom            Mission accomplished

Moses                                      Never went o Canaan             Transitioned to heaven*          Returned to earth                    Seen with Elijah *

  • Moses never went to Canaan, but He was present at the Transfiguration of Jesus seen by the Disciples with Elijah.
  • Jesus was seen by many after the Resurrection, He spent 40 days with the Disciples before Ascending to heaven.

Consider this… no one, none ever has made such an impact on mankind, no religious leaders, and dead or alive ever came back from death. Only Christ Jesus was at the time when he came 2,014 years ago, He was no ‘new-kid on the block’ He was there from the beginning of it all. At the creation when God said…”Let there be Light” and there was Light, this commandment by God was made before the Sun was made. So the True-Light is Jesus the ‘Son” not the Sun.   Colossians 1: correctly described Jesus as our Preeminent God in One of the Father..

The Super-Natural Powers of God can be seen in each of our lives, where?  We are a unique, He ‘Made’ us and breathed life into us.  This is His Spirit, and because He (God) is Holy, so should we.  But Sin came into the world and Sin is a blemished that we are all inherited; was God surprised of mankind’s waywardness? No, this is why Jesus came and His coming was not a last minute decision by God. 700 years before Jesus was born Isaiah prophesied of Christ coming to be the Lamb of God…  Why is Jesus the Lamb of God? Just like the Lamb that was sacrificed on the night of the ‘Passover’ of the angel of death, the blood of the lamb protected the Israelite saving them. This is the forerunner of the coming “Passover’ by which the Blood of Christ will keep us safe on that day when the next ‘Passover’ comes… This is; ‘The Day of The Lord”

Therefore, We are redeemed by the Atoning Blood of Jesus our Lord and Savior.

How do you receive His Divine Redemption? He said come unto Him and He will give you rest, The Bible said… All who calls on His name shall be saved, Jesus said He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Devotional:

Today as we face the challenges of this world, we need to be reminded that even the Apostle Paul experienced these challenges.  Paul who was chosen to be a ‘Vessel’ for Jesus, he was made a learned messenger of the Gospel, Paul was taken up to heaven and received specific instructions and he became a true vessel for Christ. Paul the author of over 50% of the New Testament, he also faced what we all face today.

All of what we face today, the deceits, the bribery, the theft, the abuse of predatory lending (High Usurious rates) and not to mention , Murder, rapes, human exploitation, these are all written about in Exodus, and the teaching from God covered all these traits of the human race. Read Exodus, 19, 20, 21, 22 & 23… it is amazing that nothing really changed from back then when Moses was on the mountain receiving the Word of God.

The only Major change was and is the Gospel of Jesus’ salvation… Praise Him for His wonderful Gift, a Priceless Gift that we cannot buy or earn… Ephesians 2:8-9New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Coming to the Lord:

We urge you to come to Christ today and experience His Divine Grace, and the Peace that he offers, as Jesus said…

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. In Context | Full Chapter |

Good News -His Faithfulness: The Word Becomes Flesh

John 1: 14-18

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’”

16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

The ‘WORD’ which is as spoken by God, when He said…Let there be Light; Jesus is the Light of the World (The world being us His Creation) Earth is just a planet, just like our bodies are just a ‘Tent’  housing the Spirit from God, as it is said we are a living—temple. We are made in His likeness and being in the Likeness of God, we never die, we are eternal, as we read when Jesus said… Father receive my Spirit, and as Stephen said Jesus receive my Spirit.  We will in Spirit transition to a place that is eternal.

EVENING:

And this is a choice that we must make… so the question is choose whom you will serve.

Joshua 24:15New King James Version (NKJV)

15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Conclusion:

Grace is as tangible as what? Can we see Grace? Yet Grace is defined in the Webster as… The Definition of GRACE

a: unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification

b: a virtue coming from God

c: a state of sanctification enjoyed through divine grace

Paul said in 2nd Corinthians 12: 9  And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses,

Matthew 5:  21-27

True and False Disciples- 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Brothers and Sisters, Friends let us come to Christ and in simple Faith like a Child that trust the parents, let us be still and know that Jesus our Redeemer is God, let us Praise Him for His Love, His Grace and His Redemption that gave us Life-everlasting.  Let us also know that Jesus is the same Yesterday and Today and He is eternal and we can come to Him boldly as He said… “Come unto me” as Children of the Most High, we can be wise and lay up treasures in Heaven, and build on the ROCK. Because He is the Solid Rock.

Prayer: Father in Heave we thank you in Jesus our Lord and savior who Redeemed us and placed on the Solid Rock. Lord today be with us and our Visitors and grant us Your Divine Grace as we go with Your Peace. Thank You Lord for Your faithfulness as we ask Your Blessings and Your Providence on us all. In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus we Pray and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Devotional for Tuesday November 11, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:                  The God of Peace, Love, Divine Providence and a Double-Portion of a ‘More’ Abundant Life is Jesus

TEXT:     2 Corinthians 4:18 [Full Chapter]

While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Focus:    The teaching of Jesus is founded on His Precepts of His Divine-Promises, and His promises are all focused on endowing us with Peace, Love, an abundant life and then a ‘more-abundant’ life.

Our Lord Jesus said… “I am not of this world’ and He also said, “I go to prepare a place for you’ and then He said, “Where He is, there will you also be”.  Remember said… “Today you will be with me in Paradise”

Jesus’ teaching was on the ‘Future’ why? Because He came to prepare us for ‘Eternity’ as all things are temporary, the text; 2 Corinthians 4:18 [Full Chapter] while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Jesus spoke of JOY… Splendor and Sanctification…

Hebrews 10:10

By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Devotional:

Jesus said…

Jesus the Good Shepherd

Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Coming to the Lord:

Romans 6:10

For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.

Romans 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

EVENING:

Conclusion:

1 John 4:8-9

New International Version (NIV)

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

Commentary:

God in His infinite power of Light & Love, He did revealed His love for us in the Divine Gift of His Son.  In Jesus Christ God came to us in the fullness of His Grace.  He came that we might receive His pardon by His Atonement for our sins, and save us from everlasting destruction.  One might say, how do we have the authority of making this statement of Everlasting Destruction?  Because we are simply repeating the Word of God, as He said we are Created in His Likeness, and He also said that it is appointed unto man to die and after that there is a Judgment… God is never wrong, and these two statements affirmed that we will live forever.

The Love of God found its fullest expression in the Cross, where the Lord Jesus bore the judgment for our sins, meaning that he stood in our place, and by His Crucifixion, He paid It All, and by His Blood of Atonement, we are able to receive His SEAL of Salvation.

Philippians 4: 6 (The Amplified New Testament)

Verse 6: Do not fret o have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition (a defined request) with thanksgiving continue to make your wants known to God.

Notice the key words are:

  • Do not fret
  • Every circumstance
  • By Prayer & Petition
  • With Thanksgiving
  • Continue your request to God

Give thanks to our Faithful Lord and Savior as He provides all our needs… as stated in: Philippians 4:19

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus because you said no one comes to the Father unless through You, Lord we thank You for this privilege of being able to come in Your Holy presence.  Lord we come in Faith and we in Faith accept Your Grace and by Your Holy Spirit we are renewed, and Re-admitted as Joint Heirs. Lord bless the visitors to this Good News Website and let Your messages be clear and that Your Word will reach many for Your Glory Lord, as we are Your Vessel to bring the message of Your Salvation. Devotional for Monday November 10, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:                   The Power of Prayers…

TEXT:     1 Peter 3:12

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”  In Context | Full Chapter |

Focus:    While the Text above said... the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, we also must mention that the Bible also said…               Romans 3:10 As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one; In Context | Full Chapter |

But the over-riding fact is while we are all classified and ‘Non-Righteous’ it is only by the Grace of our Lord and by His Righteousness we are able to come to the Father. And our Almighty God through our Sole-Mediator Jesus our Redeemer we are presented to The Father.

Knowing that there are no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus…

Romans 8: Free from Indwelling Sin

8: 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. (End of Text)

Devotional:

As we rejoice in the Eternal-Promise of our Lord as affirmed in Ephesians 2: 8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

We once wrote that it is a good thing that no one could work their way to Heaven… and if this could be done, then Christ died in vain, and also things would be no different if anyone could get there on their own, in fact it would be a place that we would prefer not to be. Can you imagine how someone could sit around and brag about how good he was so that he was let into heaven? We have enough of this here, so thankfully, in God’s Kingdom, there will be no ‘Super-Christians’ no elite team, But God is His Divine Omniscient know our heart and He will reward us all, and His reward is His Holy Presence among us.

Coming to the Lord:

Again we must look at our Lord Jesus who is Omniscient, Omnipresence and Omnipotent; and He hears our prayers all the billions praying all at once, yet He will hear you, he will knows your thought even before you think it.

Good News -His Faithfulness:

God in His infinite wisdom prepared us all for that day that is known as “the day of the Lord”… Just as how God prepared Moses to preserve the records of the events… The most epic-events ever would have been the mountain being smoldering when God spoke to Moses, and the most frightening event would have been the Three-Hours of darkness that came over earth at the time of His Crucifixion.

The ‘Darkness’ deployed upon the Egyptian is a forerunner of the depth of darkness that man will experience when they are separated from God forever. Darkness so thick that nothing is visible…

EVENING:

As today as we are in ‘Training’ just like the 40 year’s journey of the Israelite to Canaan, we are sojourning through this earth which we can have His Grace and His Divine Providence till that day when Jesus will be there to say… Welcome home.  So let us Love Him and by His Grace He will transform us that we are ‘Spiritually’ connected to Him and not ritually coming to Him.  Come as you are, He seeks nothing from you, He wants to Bless you with an abundant life and give you His Peace.

Conclusion:

Praise our Lord that we have the Gospels, Moses nor the 11 Disciples did not yet have the Good News of Jesus Crucifixion and Resurrection while they were with Him.  But they all saw the Omniscient of our Lord as Jesus spent Forty days with them before He ascended to Heaven.

We also have the Holy Spirit that Jesus said would be our ‘Comforter’ and as we go today we can Praise our Living Eternal Sovereign Savior who has endowed us with his Grace and made us ‘Joint-Heirs’ in Him to His Kingdom.

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord Jesus as we start this new week, we seek Your Divine grace upon us all, Lord bless our Visitors as we go in Faith knowing that You Lord is Omniscient and all our needs are provided for by your providence. Lord we thank You and we give You first-place in all knowing that You Lord Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith as we acknowledge You before all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Sunday November 9, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:                   Fear is fed by lack of hope… Hope is fed by Faith, and Faith in Jesus and His Grace is all we need

TEXT:     Matthew 10: Jesus Teaches the Fear of God

27 “Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. 28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Confess Christ Before Men

32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

Focus:    The top 10 things we fear most…

  1. Speaking before a Group
  2. Heights
  3. Insects and bugs
  4. Financial problems
  5. Deep water
  6. Sickness
  7. Death
  8. Flying
  9. Loneliness
  10. Dogs

Actually the thing that we should fear the most is not mentioned on the list… Matthew 10:28

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. In Context | Full Chapter

At some time or the other all of us may have some fear of ever experiencing any of the top 10 listed. We can overcome the fear factor of most of the top ten things. Except for the non-elective items of No. 6 and 7 we can by some means learn to cope or avoid the other factors.

The old adage of ‘Knowledge is Power’ and being a part of today’s new-found knowledge-based society we can overcome the fear of Public speaking, Heights, Deep-water, flying, and dogs, but Insects and bugs, financial problems we can also conquer, yet we cannot avoid sickness, death and loneliness.

However Hope in Christ can conquer the three non-elective factors of sickness, death and Loneliness…

Devotional:

The Divine Providence of our Lord can conquer not just the fear of sickness, death and loneliness, His Providence can provide a Peace that is unexplainable, because He said: John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. In Context | Full Chapter |

Coming to the Lord:

Lord today as I accept Your Peace, I will not fear what man can do, as You have provided Your Armor…

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 6:10-18 [Full Chapter]

[The Whole Armor of God]

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. ...

EVENING:

It is up to us… God made us free-thinkers, so make the right choices.

  1. Do not give permission to the evil one. Did you know the devil cannot use you unless you grant your permission to allow him?
  2. Why the devil does want your soul? Because you are worth a  lot to Jesus
  3. The Power of Prayer

Note: Our place in Heaven is endowed by our Lord Jesus who said… John 14:3 And “if” I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-4 (in Context) John 14 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion:

Devotional for Saturday November 8, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:                  Who are you blaming for your mistakes? One mistake is believing we know it all… (All wrapped up in pride)

TEXT:     Proverbs 16:18

Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall. In Context | Full Chapter |

Proverbs 11:2

When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Proverbs 13:10

By pride comes nothing but strife, But with the well-advised is wisdom.

Focus:    Pride comes before destruction…

Can you imagine that our Lord Jesus who is God Incarnate washed the feet of His disciples, why? Jesus detested ‘Pride’ and He showed His Humbleness by this act…

TEXT: Ephesians 1:14 New International Version (NIV)

14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

COMMENTARY: Why do you wash your car? Clean your house? Because they are your possessions.  The cost of owning in God’s economy is ‘Love” not money.  God’s equation is founded on ‘Endless-love’ Money is like an ice cube on hot pavement, but Love can be forever.

Hierarchy is a ranking system that forms a disparaging class approach in society. Example, to be a King versus a slave, or a queen versus her subject.  There is a protocol of bowing, or doing a ‘curtsy’ a posture of a woman bowing and bending her knee showing respect to the queen.  Can you imagine the queen or a king washing the feet of their subject? In olden days such a thought would have one beheaded.

Jesus rendered the act of washing His disciples’ feet, because of His love showing them to be His ‘Prized-Possessions’ yes; we are declared to be God’s prized possessions. What a privilege that we have from our Faithful Lord and Savior...

Ephesians 1 New International Version (NIV)

1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To God’s holy people in Ephesus, [a] the faithful in Christ Jesus:

2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Praise for Spiritual Blessings in Christ

3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he[b] predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, 9. He made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10. to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

Think on this:       What we have just read is better than money in the bank, why? It will never depreciate, the Word of God is forever, and the Riches of God's Grace that He lavished on us will never end.

EVENING:

  1. Colossians 1:15[The Supremacy of the Son of God] The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. Colossians 1:14-16 (in Context) Colossians 1 (Whole Chapter)

End of Text.

What is important to us all? After reading and learning that Salvation came to both the Jews and the Gentiles by the Grace of Jesus Christ.  The focal point of all is the Divine Resurrection of Jesus that died for our Sins’ and this same Jesus  is returning as described in the Bible as “the Day of the Lord’.

Coming to our Lord:  On that day ‘The day of the Lord’ His Grace will cease, not all of us will live to see the Day of the Lord, as we may die before He returns, but the Day of the Lord will still be an event that we all will be present at. What the Scripture teaches is that the Day of HIS Salvation in NOW! And me must come to HIM and accept Him in Faith and receive HIS Gift of Salvation by His Divine Crucifixion, that was predestined by His Father our Creator to Redeem us by His Blood. Why is Blood an important element? Blood is Life, we cannot survive without it, just like when a person suffers a wound and extensive blood loss, he dies, The Blood of Jesus is far more than life sustaining on Earth, Jesus’ Blood gives us “Life-Everlasting’ why, we were created in the Likeness of God as evidenced by His Son Jesus, and therefore, in His likeness we will never die… the question is, never die? Yes, but because of the original sin that we inherited from Adam, we must be Born-Again. John 3:3

Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

John 3:2-4 (in Context) John 3 (Whole Chapter)

Conclusion:

Matthew 6: NIV - Do Not Worry

His Assurance: 1 Peter 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1 Peter 1:2-4 (in Context) 1 Peter 1 (Whole Chapter)

1 Peter 1:23

For you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. 1 Peter 1:22-24 (in Context) 1 Peter 1 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus we come to You knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and You intercedes for us. Lord be with our Visitors and Lord, fill us all with Your Holy Spirit and direct our pathways as we seek to be led by Your divine guidance as the Author and Finisher of our Faith.

Devotional for Friday November 7, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:                   Eternity is endless… Endless Joy, Endless Splendor, Endless Love

An old English story related the experience of a Dutchman who had settled down at the Cape of Good Hope, he saw a poor native reading the Bible and said scornfully: :This book is not for you or the likes of you.” The native person answered quietly: “Yes, it is for me, sir.” The Dutchman said… How do you know? “Well my name is mentioned in it”, “your name?  Where?”. “Sir, said the man, pointing to the verse…This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptances that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”… Sinner, that is my name, that’s why the book is for me. The Dutchman did not know what to say to this.  Yes God’s Holy Word is a book for us all.

We can say with full conviction that the Bible is the only book for us all, and we can draw riches for time eternity.  Happy are all who read it in simplicity and sincerity of heart like that native man who recognized himself to be a Sinner before a Holy and Righteous God that show not preference, as He is not prejudice and does not take sides because of race, color or creed.

Let us not ‘pre-judge’ anyone and let us revisit His Commandment which is founded on Love.

Text: 1 Timothy 1:15 New International Version (NIV)

15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners —of whom I am the worst.

The Grace and Love of our Lord… His Sovereignty, His Majesty, His Love, His Redemption….

His Omniscient… Jesus is with us always, even to the ends of the age:

Matthew 28:20  teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20 (in Context) Matthew 28 (Whole Chapter) Mark 14:7

HE is Omnipotent:  From Jesus our Eternal God, we receive His Power through His Holy Spirit:

2 Peter 1:3 [Confirming One’s Calling and Election] His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
2 Peter 1:2-4 (in Context) 2 Peter 1 (Whole Chapter)

His Love:   Our Sovereign God loves us so much He sent His Son to Redeem us

1 John 4:10  NIV
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
1 John 4:9-11 (in Context) 1 John 4 (Whole Chapter)

2 John 1:6
And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. 2 John 1:5-7 (in Context) 2 John 1 (Whole Chapter)

His Divine Providence

Job 10:12 NIV. You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit. Job 10:11-13 (in Context) Job 10 (Whole Chapter):

His Saving Grace:

2 Timothy 1:9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,
2 Timothy 1:8-10 (in Context) 2 Timothy 1 (Whole Chapter)

His Redemption

Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace Ephesians 1:6-8 (in Context) Ephesians 1 (Whole Chapter)

His Cares for us as our Protector:

Matthew 25:44-45 New International Version (NIV)

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

His eyes fixed on us

Psalm 141:8 NIV             But my eyes are fixed on you, Sovereign LORD; in you I take refuge—do not give me over to death. Psalm 141:7-9 (in Context) Psalm 141 (Whole Chapter)

We can seek Him to bear all our burden

Hebrews 11:6  NIV
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter)

HE IS SUPREME

Now that we have seen His Omniscient, HE is all powerful; He is our Creator and His Love for us, and above all His Redemption and His everlasting Providence, we see His Holiness and His Sovereignty…

John 1 NIV

The Word Became Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

Hebrews 1 NIV

God’s Final Word: His Son

1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.

Colossians 1New International Version (NIV)

21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation.

Conclusion: We can come to the Throne of Righteousness in Prayer knowing that our High Priest our Redeemer Jesus Christ intercedes for us and by His Grace we are Saved… Amen

Prayer… Lord let the city lights be dimmed in my view that I can see the glorious heavens that You have created by Your Divine Powers. Today Lord instill in me the presence of Your Holy Spirit and capture my ways, my thoughts, my all and let me shine as a beacon for You leading others to You my Lord, as You said let it be done on Earth as it is in Heaven therefore; Lord use me and let Your Kingdom be broaden and grant our audience that seek You Lord; safety and as Your said Lord.. ”You will never leave us nor forsake us”, To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore, in Your Holy name Lord Jesus we pray… Amen.

Reminder to our visitors, keep looking to our Lord to be the Author and Finisher of our Faith… God Loves You, and come to Jesus as He is our Mediator and our Sovereign God in One of His Divine Holy Trinity in His Father our Creator and His Holy Spirit. †††

Devotional for Thursday November 6, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:                   Overcoming the world’s challenge, He gave us His ‘Secrets’

Focus:    The entire Bible is filled with God’s Divine Blessings…  Jesus told us the secret in today’s text

TEXT:     Matthew 6: 25-34

Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Devotional:

Today as we review our task-list let us not worry about any of the things that we have listed.  In fact the first item of our list should be coming to our Lord… why? Because Jesus said Seek Him and His Righteousness ‘First’.

What would you check first, would it be your Flight Plan, or the weather report? Or would you seek God’s Divine guidance first?  Preparing for a trip, it is always good to know what’s ahead.  When Jesus said…”Therefore do not worry, and by His assurance that our heavenly Father knows what we have need of before we ask.  What more can we ask for?

The definition of Things as defined in Jesus’ message above has an over-riding factor…

25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing.

Jesus was referring to the ‘True’ Providence of The Father… as He said, He came to fulfill the Prophecy; Christ Fulfills the Law

17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

Coming to the Lord:

Because Jesus is our High Priest, our Redeemer and our Lord and Savior, we can boldly come to Him knowing that as He said…”It is Finished’ He fulfilled the Law and by His Grace we are Saved... Jesus is the ‘Lamb of God’ as Isaiah prophesied over 2,714 years ago (700 years before the Birth of Christ) in Isaiah 53 that we would be redeemed by his Stripes and He bore our Sins.

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Isaiah 53: Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

EVENING:

Luke 23:

Jesus Dies on the Cross

44 Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. 45 Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two. 46 And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’” Having said this, He breathed His last.

47 So when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, “Certainly this was a righteous Man!”

48 And the whole crowd who came together to that sight, seeing what had been done, beat their breasts and returned. 49 But all His acquaintances, and the women who followed Him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things.

Jesus Buried in Joseph’s Tomb

50 Now behold, there was a man named Joseph, a council member, a good and just man. 51 He had not consented to their decision and deed. He was from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who himself was also waiting for the kingdom of God. 52 This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 53 Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a tomb that was hewn out of the rock, where no one had ever lain before. 54 That day was the Preparation, and the Sabbath drew near.

55 And the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed after, and they observed the tomb and how His body was laid. 56 Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment.

Conclusion:

Our reflection of the Crucifixion today is to affirm Jesus’ Redemption as He Rose-Triumphantly and ascended into Heaven and He sits at the Right-Hand of The Father. He will be there to welcome you home just as he did for Stephen

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord Jesus because You are our only Mediator to the Father we thank you for Your Righteousness and Your Divine Redemption by your Grace.  Lord as You presents us to Your Father we are privileged to give You our Praises and to know that You Lord is Sovereign and Eternal. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Unconditional Love and Your Divine Providence as we bring You our Visitors and seek Your blessing on us all. Lord we go in Faith and in Lord Jesus we are made a Joint Heir knowing that on that day we shall see You Lord, and what a day that will be our Gracious Savior, Jesus Messiah… We Praise You and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

MORNING:

TOPIC:                   Grace is Un-deserved… Your Policy is still in force, you are covered

TEXT:     Ephesians 2:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Focus:    Your insurance due date is past and your coverage will lapse at midnight tonight, but you called in the morning and they said that you are still covered as there is a five day grace period.  The five day is all that you have.

The Good News is; the Grace from the Lord is the unmerited favor of our Lord, and His Grace is timeless. There are no expiration date and you are ‘Saved’ forever.

Devotional:

Coming to the Lord:

:  John 5: 24 Jesus said:

"I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life." - John 5:24

Commentary:  Today we will conduct a frank discussion regarding being ‘Born-Again’ for the Bible said... He died for us while we yet sinners; Romans 5: But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

OK, we are now born again, but will this stop us from committing a sin? No, it is for this reason the our Lord Jesus was sacrificed ‘Once’ and when we have accepted Him in Faith and is now a child of God, we must ask forgiveness for any sin that we commit, as our Lord Jesus Christ is our Intercessor, However, if we continue to sin we are mocking our Lord… and as He said…

Romans 1: NIV

28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.

Let us remind ourselves of…

  1. The Good News is: God Sent His Son Jesus to Redeem us
  2. Jesus Paid It All by His Blood of Atonement.
  3. The Grace of our Lord is extended to us all, and right now is the time of Acceptance
  4. If we Accept our Lord Jesus and repent of our Sin, He will Redeem us by His Blood as a Seal; and as a Down/Payment for our Redemption that we will be with our Lord in a Place of Splendor forever.
  5. We also need to let it be known; that while our Lord is a Lord of Love, A Gracious Redeemer and a Patient God, He is also a God of Consuming Fire…
  6. Our Lord said that when we are saved by His Grace we will never be lost, but we must know Him and have a close walk with our Lord; as He will meet all our needs and He will never leave us nor forsake us.

His Assurance: John 17:12
While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.

John 17:11-13 (in Context) John 17 (Whole Chapter)

No one wants to hear this… Luke 13: 25 The Narrow Door

22 Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. 23 Someone asked him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?”

He said to them, 24 “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. 25 Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, ‘Sir, open the door for us.’

“But he will answer, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’

26 “Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’

27 “But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!’  (These are the words from Jesus Himself)

Good News -His Faithfulness:

We can come to our Lord Jesus right where we are and he will receive us, and we can have His assurance that we will be saved by His Blood.

EVENING:

Steps to Victory

  1. Communicate with Jesus
  2. Seek His Divine Guidance
  3. Absorb His messages
  4. Follow His Instructions
  5. Serve Him
  6. Resist the Evil forces
  7. Turn away from things that are not from our Lord
  8. Just say “I will not go there because it offends my Lord”
  9. Yield to the Holy Spirit
  10. Trust the Lord
  11. He will provide a way and a solution
  12. His Way is always the Right-Way
  13. What our Lord is giving you is not a temporary answer
  14. His Answers is Eternal, and it will be with you forever
  15. He will never let me be ashamed in Trusting Him
  16. He will provide all of my Needs according to His Riches
  17. His Riches is not this world, His riches is our Faith in Him
  18. He loves us so much He even Died for me
  19. He provided a Way that I can come to Him
  20. Without His Forgiveness and His Grace I cannot come into His Kingdom
  21. His Redemption is not a ritual, His Redemption is a Sacrifice for my Sins
  22. Without His Blood of Atonement I cannot come to Him, so He has provided a Seal of Life through His Resurrection
  23. The Good News is that He died to save Sinners like me and you
  24. His Good News is; He is willing to forgive me and you, and His Good News is that we will be with Him in a Place He called Paradise, a place that is sanctified without sin and we shall have His Holy Presence giving us His Joy in a Place of Splendor. Come to Him today.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord just as You brought Paul to his knees Lord, You made Him Your Vessel for Your Glory;  Lord claim the men that are also on the road to Damascus today. Lord we need Your Divine Intervention to the upheaval of the land of Syria. Lord be with our leaders as they contemplate their actions. Lord let Your will be done. Gracious God, our Heavenly Father we thank You and we give You first place knowing that Jesus is our Lord and Savior and is God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Saving Grace and we bring You our Visitors as we ask Your blessings on all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus, to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional:

Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Covenant of Grace and knowing that on that day when the Sun is darkened, there will be LIGHT as your Holy Presence will radiate the Everlasting-Light in our lives.

Good News -His Faithfulness:

Colossians 1:

Preeminence of Christ

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Reconciled in Christ

19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—

EVENING:

Coming to the Lord:

On that day when the Trumpet is sounded… not everyone will hear it. Be sure you are one that will be hearing it…

Revelation 11: 15-17

Seventh Trumpet: The Kingdom Proclaimed

15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” 16 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying:

“We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come,
Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.

Conclusion:

The recent news of two ‘spacecraft’ explosions can be humbling to the operators. In an age when scientists are discussing ‘Quantum-Mechanics’ and speed-of-light… mankind should be humbled as we are launching rockets that are still being ‘de-bugged’  as man’s limitations are still not limitless.  While man are still trying to produce a re-usable space-plane, God made Birds that can fly (Non-stop) 7,145 miles (11,500 kilometers) a female shorebird was recently found to have flown nonstop from Alaska to New Zealand—without taking a break for food or drink.

It's the longest nonstop bird migration ever measured, according to biologists who tracked the flight using satellite tags.

Bar-tailed godwit picture

The bird, a wader called a bar-tailed godwit, completed the journey in nine days. So when the Higher Power of our Almighty works in us we too shall fly using Quantum-Mechanics.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus you our Mediator to The Father we come in Your Holy Presence knowing that by Your Righteousness we are presented to The Father as You Lord Jesus is in our Midst as we gather in Your Holy Name.  Lord we thank You for the privilege of bring the Good News to many and we thank You Lord for our many Visitors as we seek Your Divine Blessings on us all, Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Divine Providence. Devotional for Monday November 3, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:                Ritual or Spiritual? Do you know Him or know of Him? Can you count on Him (Jesus) can he count on you?

Think on This:

Oneness in Christ… or are we doing it ritualistically?  Worship in Reverence and Love for our Lord and not just to ask Him for favors.

TEXT: James 1: 1-8 New King James Version (NKJV)

Greeting to the Twelve Tribes

James, a bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,

To the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad:

Greetings:

Profiting from Trials

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Commentary: James the author of the book of James was the brother of Jesus.  During the lifetime of Jesus on earth, James was not a believer; John 7:2-5 New King James Version (NKJV) Now the Jews’ Feast of Tabernacles was at hand. His brothers therefore said to Him, “Depart from here and go into Judea, that Your disciples also may see the works that You are doing. For no one does anything in secret while he himself seeks to be known openly. If You do these things, show Yourself to the world.” For even His brothers did not believe in Him.

James saw Jesus after the resurrection, he was also present on the Day of Pentecost… Acts 1:4 New King James Version (NKJV) The Holy Spirit Promised

And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me;

James became the leader of the church in Jerusalem… (Written in the Acts, The book of Acts was written by Luke) Acts 12:17 New King James Version (NKJV)

17 But motioning to them with his hand to keep silent, he declared to them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, “Go, tell these things to James and to the brethren.” And he departed and went to another place.

Acts 15: 13 And after they had become silent, James answered, saying, “Men and brethren, listen to me: 14 Simon has declared how God at the first visited the Gentiles to take out of them a people for His name. 15 And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written:

16 ‘After this I will return
And will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins,
And I will set it up;
17 So that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord,
Even all the Gentiles who are called by My name,
Says the Lord who does all these things.’

18 “Known to God from eternity are all His works. 19 Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God, 20 but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood. 21 For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”

James called himself a ‘servant’ of his brother who is Jesus Christ.

James the brother of Jesus in his ministry made many references to the Beatitude, James taught on the impartiality of Love, practice of prayer, the battle for Purity and Application of Faith.  Read more of these James 2: 1-13 James 4: 1-10

EVENING:

Continuing on the teaching of James, we read in James 4: 11-12 the destructive tongue, and in James 5: 1-6 about selfish exploitation.

The message of James offers a clear and practical methods of how Christians may apply the principles of the Beatitude to our daily lives.

James laid out in Chapter 1: 2-4 the purpose of the trials we suffer in our live; James 1:2-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

Reflection on Jesus who lived among James and his other siblings, here we see James who was not a believer in Jesus until he saw Jesus after the Resurrection, from this we can imagine that Jesus never ‘preached’ to James but growing up as brothers James probably accepted Jesus as just a kid brother, not accepting the deity of Jesus as the Messiah.  But the Grace of God kept James in the family of Christ that James is still with Jesus.  So as Brothers and Sisters in family units today, gather in the name of Jesus and come to know Christ to keep the circle from being broken… Look to the future in Christ Jesus our Lord so that we shall all gather in that great cathedral with Jesus.

Key factor:  If we were able to keep all of the Commandments, we would still need Christ, because all of my righteousness are like a filthy rag, and if we could save ourselves, then Christ would have died in Vain.

Prayer:  Father in Heaven in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus today as we come let there be a Oneness in You as only in You we have Life and You have said that all who come You will in no way turn-away.  Lord we thank you for Your Unconditional love and Your Redemption of what You have done for our Salvation. Lord we thank you and Praise You and make You first in all that we do for Your Glory Lord. Lord be with our Visitors as we thank You for the privilege of bringing many Visitors in all three languages. We seek You Divine Blessing on all who come seeking to know You and to spread Your Good News. Lord be with us all and let Your  favors be granted to us all. We thank You Lord and we pray this in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Sunday November 2, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:   Sunday Morning coming down… Look forward not backward, Jesus is waiting to welcome you to His House

Focus:    Should I go to church today? Considering that to attend the House of The Lord is really a privilege, going today is not a favor to our Lord it is a gift from Him, as we will receive more from our visit by His Divine blessings.

Think on this:   Is God concerned with our Global Moral & financial issues?

Text:                    Render to Caesar what is to Caesar,

Mark 12:17
And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marveled at him.
Mark 12:16-18 (in Context) Mark 12 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:  “We are a Good News Resource… so we focus of the Solution”

Headline… Apple CEO Tim Cooke declares that he his is Gay….

The question: Is God concerned with our Global Moral & Financial crisis, or even the USA financial potential disaster? Our answer is yes, but it is a problem that our Lord will not ‘Fix’ as in many ways it is un-fixable due to the agenda that our nation has embarked upon.  History dating back thousands of years reflected the fall of nations, and even the destruction of countries.

Are we reaching the zenith of what America has beholden as the ultimate despicable edict that has made our Lord angry with us? What could this be? To be like Sodom & Gomorrah by a presidential ‘decree’ endorsing gay marriages.

Please do not get us wrong, we love everyone including our gay sisters and brothers, but the Bible speaks about this as an abomination to our Lord. We did not make this up… our leaders are endorsing Evolution and making this a curriculum in our schools?  They have removed the Name of Jesus from Prayers, they have endorsed Abortion and are promoting pre-marital sex by distributing condoms, and financing Abortion clinics in the name of pro-choice.  So any government that feels that by packaging, Killing babies as ‘Pro-Choice’ and Homosexuality as ‘a Life-Style’ why not call, crime by a more friendlier name? Why not call the drug dealers by a friendlier name?  While they continue with their drug-war and ruining lives.  We are not making these up, this is the order of the day in society.

How can we exist under such repulsive acts that are now becoming mainstream by the current administration? Under our God’s timeline His warning is already heralded, the clock is ticking and under our nation’s timeline, we are probably ignoring these ills in our society by saying…” I can avoid this and it is something that I am not a part of’ somewhat true, but we are all on this one Titanic called Earth, it is destined to implode unless we take notice and turn to our Lord… is it too late? Our Lord never said so, the Bible said

2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; thewill I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:13-15 (in Context) 2 Chronicles 7 (Whole Chapter)

He gave us this solution that can fix our problem, God’s ability to ‘Fix” our problem is a Divine approach, that will not take decades, as He said He would “Heal” our Land…

Power corrupts, we saw this in the many Kings that ruled… Absolute Power has proven to be the downfall of men.  Our Constitution (of the United States of America) provides that we can  make changes by our Franchise a privilege available to every Citizens of this county, by Voting our  rights and making changes.  This is not a political message, we are focused at our Lord and what matters to Families, Quality of Life and a society centered around a wholesome set of principles.

His Promise:

Vengeance is mine, said the Lord…. The decline of empires litters the roads of man’s history. We see America falling into this trap and this is nothing surprising to our Lord. The Bible is full of these practices that are highly offensive to our Lord, and His warning is being brought into full focus.  The question is…Are we there yet?  Are we in the time of Noah? It is like what Ruth Graham said, Our Lord owes Sodom an apology” as earth is just as corrupt as Sodom & Gomorrah.  What a profound statement from the dear wife of one of God’s faithful servant, Billy Graham.

We can rely on His Promise:  2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; thewill I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

His Faithfulness:

Our Lord is Faithful and while we ask… Are we there yet? Me maybe there, but He is willing to receive our repentance and turning from our wayward focus by turning to Him as said in the above Scripture, He will grant us a reprieve, just like he did for the city of Nineveh.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

When God is left out of our lives, He sometimes will make a way for us to be reminded that He is in charge. The resurgence of our Lord’s presence in the lives of many Haitians happened after the catastrophic earthquake that leveled Port Au Prince, It is not the intent of our Lord to bring disaster to any, but He is the same yesterday and Tomorrow, His warning still stands. America is not too powerful to ignore His warning Rather than a Tsunami or a major Quake, we will have an event that will hurt this society where the pain will make more impact; this is an economic meltdown, leading to many this will be a humbling experience.

There is time to come to our Lord, Seek Him and His Righteousness first and He will provide what we need today and will need in due course. He is our protector, He is our Refuge, He is our Abiding Light, and He is the Shepherd that leads to Green Pastures, as said in the 23rd Psalm. (Read below)

Conclusion:

Psalm 23

A psalm of David.

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk
 through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
 for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
 they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me   in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
  my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Prayer:

Father we come in Jesus our Lord and savior. Lord Jesus knowing that you were there from the beginning of it all through the Holy Trinity. Lord bless this day as we start in Faith knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and are interceding for us, Lord Jesus we thank You for Your unconditional Love as You endowed it all to us by giving us dominion over all, but we have squandered it. Lord, teach us to be good Custodians and lead us to Green pastures and let us be bearers of Your Word for Your Glory. Lord we ask You blessings on our Visitors and grant us Your Favors. We pray in Your Matchless-Name, Lord Jesus, to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Saturday November 1, 2014

MORNING:

TOPIC:                   Sharing His fragrance, by doing this we get some on us and His Fragrance is eternal.

Do not offer your life to God with conditions; He does not accept any ‘Pre- Conditions’

Text:      Romans 12: 1-8 Life in God's Service

12 So then, my friends, because of God's great mercy to us I appeal to you: Offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to his service and pleasing to him. This is the true worship that you should offer. Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God—what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect.

And because of God's gracious gift to me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you should. Instead, be modest in your thinking, and judge yourself according to the amount of faith that God has given you. We have many parts in the one body, and all these parts have different functions. In the same way, though we are many, we are one body in union with Christ, and we are all joined to each other as different parts of one body. So we are to use our different gifts in accordance with the grace that God has given us. If our gift is to speak God's message, we should do it according to the faith that we have; if it is to serve, we should serve; if it is to teach, we should teach; if it is to encourage others, we should do so. Whoever shares with others should do it generously; whoever has authority should work hard; whoever shows kindness to others should do it cheerfully.

Matthew 25:21
His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
Matthew 25:20-22 (in Context) Matthew 25 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary:

  • We need to adopt the principles of not trying to save our life for our own goal, but give it with no condition even to death
  • We need to let go and no strings attached so that the Grace of God will take charge of our life
  • This is what we call a living sacrifice

Each of us received specific talents, some with the gift of communication, some with music some inventors and some with financial skills, some are leaders and some are followers. Whatever skills we possess we can use it to help others. Our pastor told the story of two friends from school growing up one had an accident that rendered her a paraplegic and the other suffered the same fate, they both came together and instead of saying…”Who will marry us in our present state”? They formed a community project to help other paraplegics. So even when we think we are down and out, there are always others with more challenge than what you face right now.

Fanny Crosby a blind person wrote some of the most beloved hymns with over 100 million copies of her hymns printed.

Albert Einstein is the great scientist of the twentieth century and notable physicist of all time. It is told that he had learning disability in his childhood. He could not talk till he was three and could not read till he was eight. Despite such problems he later became the noble prize winner for his contribution to the Physics.

Thomas Edison is the great inventor who has over 1000 patents and his inventions are in various fields used in our daily life. In his early life he was thought to have a learning disability and he could not read till he was twelve

Helen Keller (Devoted Life to Persons with Disabilities) She was Blind, Deaf, and Mute.

All of the above individuals facing life’s challenges made their mark on earth with significant contribution to mankind, except for Fanny Crosby who set out to give her Lord praises and to share her faith, but while doing this she received the blessing of the fragrance of our Lord. She was admitted to the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. The example of Fanny Crosby above points us to the fact while we spread the fragrance of our Lord, we will also receive His fragrance.  Remember only what’s done for Him will last and only what He builds will last. So let Him build our lives by His Grace, and following our Lord’s commandments, No. 1 To Love Him and No.2 to Love our Neighbors.

The City of Miami, New York, London, Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Rio, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and here at home Miami Beach are they modern day City of Corinth. And more like Babylon which depicts the decadence of today.

What can we contribute to society, it starts with one person, and the one person that can make a difference is ourselves. It’s like the little boy tossing beached Star Fishes back into the ocean, and a man came and said “what you are doing won’t make a difference”, the boy ignored him and tossed another, and then said, “to this one it makes a difference”. Burying our heads in the sand approach will not accomplish anything; it just takes a small spark to have started the great Chicago fire.  Thousands of acres are still burning across the US-West, guess what? they all started with a small spark or a small flame.

So look around see what talent the Lord gave you, get involved. Bring your ideas to your church; seek others to join you in volunteering to help other. Even visiting nursing homes, hospitals and Children’s home, etc.

His Faithfulness:

Matthew 25: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Matthew 7:22
I Never Knew You

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Conclusion: His Promise:

Right now we can start by praying for our friends in need, our neighbor, and even those that offended you today.  Pray for our nation, our leaders and for our Lord to re-align what may need our Lord’s help; in our schools, our government and even in our churches; Plant seeds by speaking positively, never ‘dumb-down’ or putting down anyone, including yourself, step out in Faith…remembering that negativity only breeds failure, and success breeds success.

Proverbs 6:2 New King James Version (NKJV)

You are snared by the words of your mouth;
You are taken by the words of your mouth.
