Do this…      Draw near to Jesus, turn to Him, He can do wonders for you today…

Can God Change my life?

He is willing… but what if we are not willing to change our old ways?

When we come to Jesus our High Priest, He intercedes to His Father our Creator, we are told to come to HIM boldly and make all petitions known with Thanksgiving in Prayer to our Lord Jesus.

How can we be changed to be bulletproof from temptation?

Text: 1 John 2:15-17

New International Version (NIV)

On Not Loving the World

15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.

Commentary:

Jesus Himself declared that He was not of this world… What was He telling the Jews in the Temple?

They disputed all of His representation, but He said they were blinded by their father who is the devil…

The interaction between Jesus and the Jews took place before His Crucifixion and most of these Nay-Sayers were around to see His Divine Resurrection.  Those present at His Crucifixion then realized He was truly the Son of God…

John 8:23
But he continued, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

We urge you to read the entire chapter of John 8, this is an intense dialogue between Jesus and the Jews in the Temple

No one is immune to temptation to sin, even Jesus was tempted but He remained Sinless, he used the scripture to thwart the temptation of the devil.

We too need the Two-edged Sword to thwart the temptation which is more than ever a blitz in lights, on the TV, the Internet, Print and music etc.  We must look beyond the temporary pleasure that is abominable to our Lord.  We need to ask for His help in overcoming the urge.

1 John 1:9

New International Version (NIV)

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

His promise goes beyond our today’s need…

Philippians 1:6  (NIV)

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Before Abraham… Jesus was the Great I AM….

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Hebrews 10:22: "Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith.

Seek Him while He may be found…Isaiah 55:6

Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Isaiah 55:5-7 )

1 John 5:3-4

New International Version (NIV)

In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

Conclusion:

The one sure thing that we can say will be from the Lord, this will be known as ‘The Day of the Lord’

“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives” 2 Peter 3:10-11 NIV

Psalm 32:6
Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus name we come, Lord Jesus today as we seek Your Guidance and Your divine Providence in our lives, Lord let us be led by Your Holy Spirit.  Lord we look to that day in Faith, when You appear we shall see You as You are, and we shall be transformed in the twinkling of an eye. Lord Your Word said, In You dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and we are complete in You Lord Jesus, and You are the head of all principalities and Power. Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your favors as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Devotionals for Monday:  October 30th, 2017

It’s Monday, and the Omnipresence of the Lord is with you…

John 14:16 King James Version (KJV)

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 14:26

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

John 16:7

Nevertheless, I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. In Context | Full Chapter |

‘Forever’ is a very long time… But Jesus did say His Father will give us a Comforter ‘Forever’.

So, we have His assurance that the Power of our Lord surrounds us. Knowing this, let us boldly walk in His Light. Be assured… but not with ‘false-pride’ but we can ‘Boast’ (see below)

Pride is defined by the Merriam-Webster® … Definition of pride. 1: the quality or state of being proud: such as. a: inordinate self-esteem: conceit. b: a reasonable or justifiable self-respect. c: delight or elation arising from some act, possession, or relationship. Example; Take Pride In · Self-pride · Pride Oneself On · Be Puffed (up) With Pride.

The Bible said Boast not. Proverbs 27:1

Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth. In Context | Full Chapter

Romans 5… 1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.

Therefore, in Christ we can ‘Boast’ because it is not ‘False-Pride’ as we are set-apart…

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; In Context | Full Chapter |

So, being in His marvelous light, as we walk in His Light, we will shine for Him.  Do you know that there is aura produced by energy fields?  Sometimes you may sense this in a person entering the room.

Commentary: How would you like everyone to deal with you? To be sincere, honest, truthful, and loyal and be respectful, these are the qualities we would seek in a relationship. And in fact, these would be the criteria of hiring a new employee.

Our Creator endowed us with ‘Free-Will’ and gave us ‘Freedom of choice’. In addition to the qualities of; Sincerity, honesty, loyalty and be respectful… the ‘key’ word is: Forgive, and the overriding factor is ‘Love’

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:9-11 (in Context) 1 Peter 4 (Whole Chapter)

As the Text above instructs us to be faithful stewards of God’s Grace, let us be aware that God’s Grace come in various forms.  Thank our Lord today for His Faithfulness in granting you:

  • Health
  • Wealth
  • Wisdom
  • Love for others

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus today as we reflect upon You our King who suffered and died in our place, Lord Your Divine Gift of Your Precious Blood as our Seal of Redemption we accept Lord.  Father we thank You for sending Your Son Jesus who sits at Your Right-Hand Father and Jesus our Messiah we thank You for being our Mediator to The Father.  Lord we praise You and we thank You for our Visitors as we ask Your blessings on us all, Lord we thank You for the privilege to bring Your Good News of Your Resurrection to the world, and to you Lord Jesus is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday:  October 29, 2017

‘You have arrived’…  this is what the GPS says.

God’s Positive Salvation will do better, Jesus Himself will say ‘Welcome Home’

Commentary: The global positioning system (GPS) in your car must be updated to maintain a degree of accuracy. Sometimes the route selected by the GPS is not the best route leading you through many turns when you could select a shorter direct route.  God’s HPS; what is a ‘HPS’?  We made this from the ultimate destination that God is pointing us to… Heaven, therefore His ‘Heavenly’ Position System is fail-safe.

God's HPS never needs updating, the directions are the same and the routes are the same as the day He disclosed them to us. So, engage yourself by locking in to God’s HPS to that Heavenly Destination.  His ‘Turn-by-turn’ instructions are simple and is mapped out with the shortest and direct route to Heaven’s Gate.

Let’s remind ourselves… no one can go back and make a brand-new start, but anyone can start from now, and make a brand-new ending. It is not the start that counts it is the finishing… finish well by choosing Christ.

The closer you get to God, the harder the devil works, why?  The tempter sees a prize of value; so, put on the Armor of God.

Text:  1 Thessalonians 5: 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

The Apostle Paul we would say is a man called to be a Saint. He served our Lord faithfully, yet Paul said…  Romans 7:24

What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?  (End of Text)

Here we see Paul writing to the Romans about his personal experience, we all face the challenges of what Paul mentioned...

Covetousness, the deception of sins, sin over-powering the commandment that causes death, but Paul went on and said…24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!

Hebrews 13:6 So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

All of God’s plans for us are for our well-being, we may not see this as we experience our life-experiences… but He said… ‘My Plan is to prosper you…

Jeremiah 29:10-12 New International Version (NIV)

10 This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place.

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

His Assurance… John 3: 16-21:

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

Jesus said we are to come to him with the faith of a child.  A child’s trust is such an act of innocence; this is how the Savior said we are to approach Him.  During our Lord’s 33 years on earth, His walk with the Disciples were always on friendly cordial terms, no time ever did our Lord placed them in a ‘Me’ – ‘they’ situation, He referred to them as ‘Friends’ and as Joint Heirs, the human trace of ‘Familiarity breeds contempt’ has always been with us humans, but we must remind ourselves that Jesus is Supreme, and is God in One, and no one has ever seen God, except Him, and as Jesus said, “If you have seen me you have seen the Father”

Psalm 33:4 For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus I come. Lord knowing that all things can wait but I will not keep You waiting my Lord. Lord I thank You for our Visitors, Your message this morning Lord. Lord I thank You for this privilege of coming in Your Holy Presence Lord Jesus. Lord forgive us for our trespasses as we forgive others. Lord strengthen our weak mind and Lord feed us with Your Word of Life. Lord we seek to serve You Lord and seek to grow in your Word Lord. Lord let us leap over the things that are not from you so that we may not stumble, and our leap will be to Victory in You Lord Jesus. To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday October 28, 2017

A month is like a week, there’s Christmas decoration already in the stores offered at 40% off

Walking in one of the large department stores the floor was decorated like a Christmas scene, decked out with decorated trees, images of Santa, nut-crackers and the beautiful Christmas village settings.  The key piece was missing, what is the key piece? The Manger-Scene of Christ in the cradle. To many merchants, they may ask; why bring Christ into Christmas? Just another group that we need to reach.

As we enter the 4th quarter of the year, it is like yesterday that we celebrated Christmas.  To think that the years are passing-by at a rapid clip, so, is this the year when we shall hear the trumpet sound?  Maybe and yet no one knows only the Father.

The Fall Foliage season has already begun, the leaves in Maine will be especially beautiful turning the landscape into a golden

Leaves.  In New England foliage turn earliest in the farthest northwest reaches of the in the region. There are reports from New England that some leaves have already begun to turn.

The Lord gave us four seasons and the Fall-Winter season is a time of JOY…

Soon it will be Thanksgiving and for many…  this is a time for families to be reunited to celebrate.  For some the season is somber as loved ones are absent. Especially missing family members.

But when a family member went home to be with the Lord, remembering that person is done with Joy as we know that they are in the presence of the Lord.  Jesus celebrated with food among His disciples, and surely, He is having the most wonderful Thanksgiving feast among His followers.

Gain His Word as the Two-Edged Sword to battle the foe that is real, the evil one that works in a subtle way to trap our souls and to lead us astray. We need to be on the watch that we avoid the following, and confess our sin, as He said:

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

In Context | Full Chapter

· Dishonoring our Lord is an abomination in His sight, many times we incur in our lives things that we regret doing that were deceitful is the presence of our Lord. Yet Jesus our High Priest intervened and interceded to His Father (our Creator) on our behalf. As a Believer and a Child of the Most-High, we were Redeemed by his Blood, and by His Blood, we were ‘Bought at a Price’ we are HIS and HE forgives our Sins when we come to Him, as said in

 Romans 8:8

Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Romans 8:9

You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. In Context | Full Chapter |

Mocking our Lord is defined by an action when we deliberately sin against our Lord, knowing that we ponder the temptation before taking the plunge to participate in what is a mockery of our Lord’s Crucifixion that HE shed His Blood of Atonement for us.   This is not just an action of Mocking our Lord, it is like Crucifying our Lord ‘Again’ remember HE Died Once, in the rule of (Man’s judicial system) Laws there is a rule of “Double-Jeopardy” our Lord Jesus died and Rose triumphantly so that we may have life everlasting, HE also will not let us suffer the ‘Double-Jeopardy’ as He Paid it All in Full… but we cannot ‘Fall-Way’ and return to the old covenant, as HE is the new Covenant and by His Righteousness HE Redeemed us.

Therefore, we through HIS Resurrection to Life that HE made us without Sin, though His Atonement, when we come to HIM, we become Children of our Lord, and HE gave us a Privilege that no one else can give us, HE made us Joint-Heirs.

Let us look to Jesus our Eternal God with:

  • Praises
  • Adoration
  • Be Still and know He is God
  • Pray to our Redeemer
  • Know that He intercedes for us, as no one comes to the Father (our Creator) unless through HIM
  • Acknowledge that by His Blood we are cleansed and…By His Grace we are Saved, as…He Redeemed us, by…Paying the Penalty of Sin that we have committed, and…We are Saved by HIS Grace and not by anything that we do, read Ephesians 2:8

· In all our ways we acknowledge Him, and as He commanded, go and spread the Good-NEWS.

Romans 8:17

17. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory

Hebrews 5: 16… Let us approach the Throne with Confidence so that we may receive Mercy & Find Grace.

Prayers: Lord we thank You for this Wonderful day that You will bless and let us as Your children come to You and Praise You for the Wonderful things that You have in store for us. Lord we Thank You for our Visitors and You blessing upon each one…and to You Lord Jesus is the power and the Glory, Now and Forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday: October 27, 2017

Did your computer ask…’ trust this device?’ mine does this at start up, the answer is maybe…

‘Maybe’ is the appropriate answer, as the possibility of the system doing a malfunction is always possible. From hackers, Operating system software that automatically downloads the updates and some updates may contain bugs, so there is a constant battle between the Operating system and the hackers.

The caution is never click on any unknown email of websites that are sent to you from unknown sources. So, trusting the device is a questionable decision.  But, the computer is a tool, it is treated as a sophisticated typewriter-word processor and a file cabinet.  The key function is the Internet accessibility and to publish the Good News postings.

Over the period for from 1981 to today, which is 36 years, the year that we received our first IBM® PC, since then we have averaged a new computer each year.  We anxiously await the day when none of these devices will be needed.

So, the answer of ‘Trust’ is made with a resounding… Maybe. But with a Shout of YES! that we can Trust the Lord

What a privilege He gave us to be able to come to Him. Hebrews 7:25..."Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him (Jesus), because He always lives to intercede for them. (Hebrews 7:25 NIV)

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 NIV

Principle:  Humbleness and Meekness shall triumph over pride and the boastful ones will be debased.  Pride debases those that boast and put their trust in money and earthly things…. Correct Living is rooted in Christ    Pride displaces God from the heart in favor of Self

EVENING:

Our Lord consistently mentioned “Faith”

The application of Faith must be well placed, meaning we can seek and ask in faith but our intention(s) must be focused on not just ourselves, but to care for others.   The famous quote made by Cain, ‘Who made me my brother’s keeper?” we already know the answer why Cain said this, because he did kill his brother Abel.

Our Lord revealed one of His Secrets, ‘FAITH’ and this is the most powerful gift from our Lord. But we as Humans have a mental capacity to think, and even to think BIG just like when Paul and Silas were in Jail Praising the Lord, there was a sudden earthquake and the prison doors were flung opened and their chains were loosened. This is Faith in Action. Faith in God and not in mere man, as our Supreme God the Creator of the Vast Universe is able to do great things for those with Faith.

You may wonder how can God know me an individual in a world with 7+ Billion people, how can Jesus know who I am and hear me as billions are praying simultaneously? This is probably the most troublesome question for non-believers and Atheist.  The answer is that God (Regardless of a non-believers’ belief) God our Creator who said “Let us” create, spoke the world into existence, and just as He and His Son Jesus with His Holy Spirit being there from the beginning of it all, this same power of Creation is able to hear each of us, as the Divinity of God through His Holy Spirit is in each believer; and His Holy Spirit is like the Broadband ‘Wireless’ Internet that we as believer are able to speak with our God.

Focus on our Lord because He is our Redeemer our Lord and Savior and he is Sovereign and Eternal…

 Hebrews 4:14

Our Compassionate High Priest] Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Hebrews 10:23

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. In Context | Full Chapter |

He also made us ‘Joint-Heirs’

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord we come in Your Holy presence and we thank You for this privilege that we can come to you boldly knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord Your Word said seek you first and Your Righteousness and our needs will be provided by Your Providence and Faithfulness. Lord You have said that we will never be ashamed in trusting in You and in You Lord Jesus all things are possible. Lord we thank you for our Visitors to the three websites, Lord Jesus bless each and every one as our mission of bring Your Good News to all is for Your Glory. Feedback No: 2  An excerpt from a post by Msgr. James H. O’Neil, Chaplin for the Third Army

Many conflicting and some untrue stories have been printed about General George S. Patton and the Third Army Prayer the incident of the now famous Patton Prayer commenced with a telephone call to the Third Army Chaplain on the morning of December 8, 1944, when the Third Army Headquarters were located in the Caserne Molifor in Nancy, France: "This is General Patton; do you have a good prayer for weather? We must do something about those rains if we are to win the war." My reply was that I know where to look for such a prayer, that I would locate, and report within the hour. As I hung up the telephone receiver, about eleven in the morning, I looked out on the steadily falling rain, "immoderate" I would call it -- the same rain that had plagued Patton's Army throughout the Moselle and Saar Campaigns from September until now, December 8. The few prayer books at hand contained no formal prayer on weather that might prove acceptable to the Army Commander. Keeping his immediate objective in mind, I typed an original and an improved copy on a 5" x 3" filing card:

I pondered the question, what use would General Patton make of the prayer? Surely not for private devotion. If he intended it for circulation to chaplains or others, with Christmas not far removed, it might he proper to type the Army Commander's Christmas Greetings on the reverse side. This would please the recipient, and anything that pleased the men I knew would please him:

Long story short… General Patton prayed the prayer;

“Almighty and most merciful Father, we humbly beseech Thee, of Thy great goodness, to restrain these immoderate rains with which we have had to contend. Grant us fair weather for Battle. Graciously hearken to us as soldiers who call upon Thee that, armed with Thy power, we may advance from victory to victory, and crush the oppression and wickedness of our enemies and establish Thy justice among men and nations”.

On December 20, to the consternation of the Germans and the delight of the American forecasters who were equally surprised at the turn-about-the rains and the fogs ceased. For the better part of a week came bright clear skies and perfect flying weather. Our planes came over by tens, hundreds, and thousands. They knocked out hundreds of tanks, killed thousands of enemy troops in the Bastogne salient, and harried the enemy as he valiantly tried to bring up reinforcements. The 101st Airborne, with the 4th, 9th, and 10th Armored Divisions, which saved Bastogne, and other divisions which assisted so valiantly in driving the Germans home, will testify to the great support rendered by our air forces. General Patton prayed for fair weather for Battle. He got it.

Conclusion:

It was late in January of 1945 when I saw the Army Commander again. This was in the city of Luxembourg. He stood directly in front of me, smiled: "Well, Padre, our prayers worked. I knew they would." Then he cracked me on the side of my steel helmet with his riding crop. That was his way of saying, "Well done."

TEXT: Hebrews 2:17

For this reason, he had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.

Since the speculation that the Mayan Calendar may have signaled the end of the World… and we are still here today, let us put aside all speculation of our Lord’s return.  Several predictions were made in the last year, and everyone was clueless on our Lord’s return.   But we do not have to be clueless as He said… No one knows the date only the Father.  But one thing for sure He is coming, and the second thing for sure is that His return will not be advertised on Cable TB, His timing is not for us to call.  All Doomsday-Preppers are making plans to stock up on food, guns, ammunitions and water.  Then many are thinking that the Lord’s return is something that we have been hearing about since we were kids.  Read the words of Jesus… But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night,

We also need to know that the Grace that Jesus has extended us will cease on the Day of the Lord. What does this mean to us? The Grace currently extended to us means that we can come and receive His Grace and accept His Redemption and through His Blood of Atonement We are sealed with His Grace that will never be lost or cancelled.

Principle: Jesus came to be our Redeemer and by His Blood we are cleansed from our sins.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Our Lord said… Come unto me…

Matthew 11:28
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:27-29 (in Context) Matthew 11 (Whole Chapter)

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Ephesians 2:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Words of Assurance:

Romans 8: 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

God’s Everlasting Love

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Sovereign God in Your Holy Trinity we come. Father today we Praise You for Your Graciousness. Lord Jesus we thank You for Your Redemption at Calvary and by Your Blood of Atonement we are saved by Your Grace.  We pray for our nation and Lord let Your agenda prevail and we pray for Peace in the Middle East and Lord place Your shield around Your many servants serving in these troubled regions.  Lord bless us all and our Visitors coming to read Your Word Lord, we pray in Your precious name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

For Jesus…  No ‘Booster’ rocket required, He lifted off by a Divine ascent…

- Light travels at a constant speed of 1,079,252,848.8 (1.07 billion) km per hour. That works out to 299,792,458 m/s, or about 670,616,629 mph ... and it should be noted that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light.

"To Infinity and Beyond!" is Buzz Lightyear's famous catchphrase in the Toy Story films and the TV series Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.  Buzz fell to earth, just like the early launches by Nasa to which the Russian called… Flopnik, but today the USA excels in space. Mainly caused by the revelation of what the first rocket team discovered from the Holy Bible.

As Ronald Reagan said, the entire answer to all of our questions are answered in the Bible.

Go to: https://www.youtube.com/embed/OvN1jTkzXbY?rel=0

Reagan did joke about a ‘Busy-signal’ when reaching God… but there’s never a busy signal.

No Internet connection needed, no appointment necessary, and never a busy signal…

How often we say the Internet is slow, and the numerous time that the system is down?  In awe we look at billions of people coming to The Lord in prayers all at once, and yet their prayers are heard.

As we will recall Jesus telling Phillip that He saw him under the fig tree before he came to Jesus, Jesus was not in a place where there was line-of-sight’’ so Phillip marveled.  Our Lord is Omniscient, Omnipresence, and Omnipotent.

The thief on the cross was close to Jesus who said… Lord remember me when You come into Your Kingdom… this condemned person just reached out to Jesus…  But Jesus saw his inner-heart and knew that this was a statement made with sincerity.

Another instance of the Grace of our Lord at work… Aaron was made a Chief Priest in-spite of his making of the Golden Calf and even lied about it when he said the image was formed out of the fire… God did not compromise when He made Aaron a Priest because God saw the true repentance and extended His Grace and chose Aaron.

Today we reaffirm that The Lord looks at our heart, what is our heart? The Brain controls our thinking but the heart reacts to our physiologic reaction of what we say and think by the pulse rate generated by our emotions.  So coming from the ‘Heart’ is the truth.  This process may also be a function of what the Lie-Detector monitors to arrive at the ‘emotional’ response that will translate to truth or not-true.

His Promise:

The Greatest of all Gifts we can ever receive is His Priceless GIFT.  John 3: 16 is a Bible verse taught to us as a child, and this short narrative is the Whole Gospel of Christ’s Redemption for us all.

John 3:16

16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

His Faithfulness:

He is coming again… Acts 1: The Ascension

And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. 11 They also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and savior. In Your Name Lord Jesus, Amen.

Conclusion:

Do not look for any ‘New’ Doctrine… all of what we need to know or will ever need are already contained in the Holy Bible. There is no need to add or modify the Word of God.

Let us pour out our hearts today to Praise our Lord Jesus as He is Supreme and He is Eternal and He is Faithful.  Know that He came to redeem us and as he said… He came that we would have an abundant life and to have it; More’ abundantly.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come and Praise You… Lord Jesus today in Faith we come and in Faith we go forward acknowledging Your Graciousness. Lord as we are made Joint-Heirs in You Lord Jesus, we are privileged to serve You Lord. We thank You for  visitors coming to this Good News Website, Lord let the message bear fruit for Your Glory; and even one sinner that repents Lord, Your Angels will celebrate. Lord we ask Your Divine Favors upon us all as we ask Your blessings on our Visitors that their hearts will be opened to receive Your Good News. Lord we dedicate this mission to You and give You the Glory and in You Lord Jesus be the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

The Power of God’s Love through Jesus our Redeemer, He has granted His Holy Spirit that empowers us, as we with all the Lord’s people. Because all those He has called through Christ we are given the Power from Him and the Wisdom from the Lord.

The Mystery of God’s plan for each of us… some of us may have some inkling of what will be their immediate and mid-term future.  We often wonder what’s next in our life’s journey… Life is like preparing for a trip, we choose the routing, the airline, or we prepare the vehicle, refuel, check tires and program our GPS. But life’s journey is over an unknown territory, travelling unfamiliar roads, but we are guided like the Israelites that had the smoke by day and the fire by night.

Isaiah 4:5

Then the Lord will create over all of Mount Zion and over those who assemble there a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night; over everything the glory will be a canopy. In Context | Full Chapter |

Where is your flaming fire tonight?  As you come to Him, ask the Lord for His Holy Spirit to be within you. Gather the Armor of the Lord and be prepared for the darting arrows of the evil one.

Use the Power provided to overcome the constant battle…

1 Corinthians 1:24  but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Let’s face it… Today we do not have a million Israelites and others surrounding us, we have billions around the world,  and within these billions we have the same conditions of complaint, scoffing and faithless individuals, we are not judging anyone but this is just the facts of life. So, we say, let us be steadfast, keep the faith and not be deterred by what anyone say, anything they do and whatever befalls us we will be still and know that Jesus is Lord of lord and Kings of kings and though Him He has made us more than ‘Conquerors’ and being made more than conquerors mean that we have Victory in Him.

Key Note: To have Jesus is to have all that we ever will need and in Him all things are possible. And the ‘things’ are not important as He is Preeminent as our Redeemer.   Being Redeemed means that we are taken out of the downward-spiral to a place of Splendor because He is there, so ‘Rejoice’ and to have ‘Joy’ in Him.  Praise our everlasting God as through Jesus we are made righteous to be in God’s presence. Thank You Jesus Messiah…

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord Jesus thank You for being our Intercessor and Lord because without You we cannot come to the Father and we know that You Lord Jesus is One in the Father, yet we shall acknowledge that You have said no one comes to the Father except through You.   Lord today we thank you that by Your Righteousness we are made Holy as You said…” Be Holy because You are Holy” we thank You Lord and today we thank You for the privilege of sharing the Good News and we thank You for our Visitors and bless us all. We dedicate our endeavors to You Lord as You are Preeminent in all. To You be the Power and Glory Jesus our Redeemer and Sovereign God in Holy Trinity of the Father … Amen

Devotionals for Sunday: October 22, 2017

Be safe in a storm… He calmed the Sea, Jesus rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!

Mark 4:38

37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped.38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”

39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”

Today, while we face the raging rhetoric on the political scene, and the attempts to remove the Cross, take Christ out of Christmas, the ‘Power’ of Christ is upon us all to stand tall over the forces of the evil one.

God is infallible and all powerful yet He will listen and reason with us as he did with Job and Moses and reasoned with them

Text:  2 Corinthians 8:9 (NIV)

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

Commentary: We are sorry to disappoint many as there some careers and trades that will not be needed in Heaven.  Lawyers, Doctors, Undertakers and many others, why? There will be no death, no pain, and no strife. Just think, there will be no pharmaceutical companies, no greed, no pills and no dependency on anyone. What a glorious state it will be.

Romans 8: 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory

Heaven is Real… God is Real – Eden Restored, a Place of splendor filled with the presence of our Lord, a place of Joy…

You should not worry; the Bible stated that if we know Christ, we are safely in God's hands forever when we die, and  nothing "in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:39).

The entire Bible is about Jesus, The Christ… Jesus the Anointed Holy Son, our Redeemer; the Bible written between the years 1,446 and 1,406 BC, foretells of the coming of the Messiah, and His return. We will  clarify that Moses is known to be the Author of Genesis, but Moses was not yet born when God created the Heavens and the Earth, so how did Moses write Genesis?  Moses was educated in the Egyptian society, Moses’ writing of Genesis was based on what he gathered through sources of the beginning; Jesus Himself walked in the Garden of Eden and speaking of His Creation, almost on a play-by-play narrative. Through the linage of Adam to the time of Moses, the events of the creation were preserved. So, we accept the fact that Moses is the author by compilation and recording of the events.

His Promise: Romans 5:10 (NIV)

10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

Hebrews 12: 23-29 (NIV)

23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

25 See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? 26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” 27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

This is Jesus’ Sacrifice for our Sins, as he, willing went to the Cross so that by his Blood of Atonement we are redeemed.

1 Timothy 1:15
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world
to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.

Prayer: Heavenly Father It is with Awe that we come knowing Jesus our Redeemer rose triumphantly and sits on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in Your Holy Trinity of our Father and the Holy Spirit, we come today knowing that we serve You our Living God who is Lord of lords and King of kings and You Jesus our Messiah is our Salvation.  Lord today as we go forward in Faith, grant us Your Favors and equip us as we seek to serve You and are privileged to be a Vessel bearing your Word of Life. Lord bless the visitors coming to this website and let Your Peace be upon all. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday:  October 21, 2017

Do this…      Shed the extra-weight, find a safe-harbor, lose the baggage and have a wonderful future…

I called a friend a week ago and did not get a return call, I waited and then called and he answered… I said I missed your call did you see my message?  he said, I was in the hospital for an emergency operation. I learned that he was on the brink of experiencing a catastrophic health state, that he said, “I almost didn’t make it”, and it was a wakeup call letting him know how things can suddenly end.

We went on to discuss the circumstances leading up to his health issue, He said, I must lose weight, watch the diet and take it easier.  These goals are very much like of our captioned topic…

In reading about Jesus and the disciples, they didn’t have any health or weight issues…

Paul said in 2nd Corinthians 12: 9  And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses,

Paul was who was chosen by Jesus to be a ‘Vessel’ bearing the Word of Salvation, was also speaking of his personal experience, but speaking in third party instances so that he would not be exalting himself, here is a man that was a persecutor of Christian, a man that witness the stoning of Steven to death, now redeemed as a servant of the Most High, speaking as a privileged individual when he made this statement… Boasting is necessary, though it is not profitable; but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a man was caught up to the third heaven. And I know how such a man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows— was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak.  On behalf of such a man I will boast; but on my own behalf I will not boast, except in regard to my weaknesses. For if I do wish to boast I will not be foolish, for I will be speaking the truth; but I refrain from this, so that no one will credit me with more than he sees in me or hears from me.

As we see was Paul taken into Heaven?  Yes, Who God chooses to serve Him, such person will experience His calling…

A recent news item told of a preacher that died from being bitten by a rattle snake… sometimes we wonder why would any person want to ‘Tempt God’ by doing such as handling a Rattle Snake, this is a clear case of taking things into our own hands…

The Key statement of the Text above when Jesus spoke, was: “In my name” was the preacher that died from the snake bite doing this for his personal glory or was he under the command of our Lord?

As stated in Mark 16: 25-28  (NIV)

15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

 Conclusion:

Matthew 5:  21-27

True and False Disciples

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Coming to our Lord:

Brothers and Sisters, Friends let us come to Christ and in simple Faith like a Child that trust the parents, let us be still and know that Jesus our Redeemer is God, let us Praise Him for His Love, His Grace and His Redemption that gave us Life-everlasting.  Let us also know that Jesus is the same Yesterday and Today and He is eternal and we can come to Him boldly as He said… “Come unto me” as Children of the Most High, we can be wise and lay up treasures in Heaven, and build on the ROCK. Because He is the Solid Rock, you can play the Hymn below, On Christ the Solid Rock I stand”…

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and savior we come. Lord Jesus as we ready Your Word today and gather in Your Name, Lord let Your precepts be emblazoned in our Heart. Jesus Messiah, we thank You for Your Divine blessings on our Visitors and us all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Your real ‘Reward’… To Gain Christ is the Utmost… Nothing we have will be worth having, He is our ‘Rewards’

Industrial icons of yesterday…

Andrew Carnegie
Cornelius Vanderbilt
John D. Rockefeller
J.P. Morgan Andrew Carnegie

None of these took with them anything,  as they departed. Empty handed they came and so did they go.

We may be crossing the threshold of the Third-Industrial revolution entering into the fourth revolution.

While is as said that humans would gain a more leisurely lifestyle by shorter work-weeks.   The fact is the demand from our hand-held devices and tablets, and even the wired communication in automobiles demand us to be ‘at work’ returning calls, emails, etc.

So, recognizing that we are being virtually enslaved by the demands of this ‘Instant-Gratification’ society, we need to place our priorities in the right place.  The ‘Right-Place’ being in the presence of the Lord. Just like the instant-messaging of the phone, we can be talking with the Lord knowing that He knows our thoughts even before we think of it.

So, crossing into the fourth industrial revolution it could be a revolution of humans against machines that are driven by artificial-intelligence (AI).  AI could displace many job functions of humanity.  The headline from WIRED Magazine... Rise of the Machines: The Future has Lots of Robots, Few Jobs for Humans…

THE ROBOTS HAVEN’T just landed in the workplace—they’re expanding skills, moving up the corporate ladder, showing awesome productivity and retention rates, and increasingly shoving aside their human counterparts. One multi-tasker bot, from Momentum Machines, can make (and flip) a gourmet hamburger in 10 seconds and could soon replace an entire McDonalds crew. A manufacturing device from Universal Robots doesn’t just solder, paint, screw, glue, and grasp—it builds new parts for itself on the fly when they wear out or bust. And just this week, Google won a patent to start building worker robots with personalities.

As intelligent machines begin their march on labor and become more sophisticated and specialized than first-generation cousins like Roomba or Siri, they have an outspoken champion in their corner: author and entrepreneur Martin Ford. In his new book, Rise of the Robots, he argues that AI and robotics will soon overhaul our economy. Credit…WIRED Magazine®

So, reviewing the future the ‘True’ Reward is…  Jesus Himself, as He said…

Revelation 22:12

Jesus said… Matthew 10: 30, 32, 33   And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 32 “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.

Stop to think… Looking up and Thanking our Father, that He chose us and you because He has a mission for us all… and before the Creation of the World He Chose Jesus to Redeem us and to be made Holy and Blameless in His Sight… How Gracious is our God, Jesus our Messiah, Thank You Father in Jesus Name… Amen.

His Promise:

We are safe in Christ; Life circumstances cannot separate you from His Love. Romans 8:38-39. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Prayer:

Gracious God our Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus because You are Holy and by Your Redemption we were redeemed by Your Grace, Lord by Your Sacrifice at Calvary we can come boldly to You Lord; as You said come and You will give us Rest. Lord we thank You for our Visitors, today as we go forward in Faith, equip us all and enable us by your Holy Spirit and lead us to Green Pastures and Still Water of Life. We seek you Lord and Praise You for Your Unconditional Love and Thank You for Your Graciousness. In Your Holy name we pray Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Text: Matthew 6:20

But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

Matthew 6:19-21 (in Context) Matthew 6 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary: Do not envy that person that you know who went on to be the town’s wealthy guy and is always in the social columns.  Look at the flipside… is he happy?  Is he heaven-bound? If the answer is no, then he is the poorest person that you can point to. Being the richest person in the graveyard means nothing as; naked we came and naked we go, we take nothing with us. One Life to Live and after that the Judgment…

Genesis 1: 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”  27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

We need to know that we never die… So what is to come after this life? Jesus revealed this…

Hebrews 9:27
And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,

John 11:26
And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

John 3:16

Principle:  Ephesians 2:8-9

New International Version (NIV)

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Matthew 6:25
[Do Not Worry] “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

Action/Coming to our Lord: Hebrews 11:6 NKJV

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:5-7 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter

Conclusion: While our Lord is a Gracious God, He is a God of Consuming Fire, as Sinners that have not repented will be separated from God and will be cast out from His sight and be in a place of perpetual suffering (yes you will be alive but never dying and ever suffering) because our Lord has given sinners over to the final death (but still never dead)  So Come to our Lord today as He said come unto Him and He will receive you and forgive you of your sin(s) and you will be a new creation in Christ.

Pray... Lord Jesus I come in Faith accepting Your gift of Salvation and chose to be alive in You by your Grace my Lord. Lord Jesus receive me as I repent of my sin and accept your great Salvation by your Blood of Atonement, and I seek Your divine guidance in my life, to you Lord be the Glory... Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we come to praise You and proclaim You as our Eternal-Sovereign God. Lord today as we stand at the empty cross we acknowledge in Faith that You are on the Throne of Righteousness. Lord we thank You for Your Grace and we thank You for the privilege of serving You Lord. Lord bless our Visitors, and Precious Lord take our hands and lead us unto Your Kingdom, as we  look to that day when we shall see You Lord as You are. In You we have Victory, Lord grant Your favors to all that call on You and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

Be aware of…       Angel ‘Unaware’

Be on our guard, how can we discern the ‘Angel’ unaware versus the false, deceitful agent of evil?

TEXT:  For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. - 2 Corinthians 11:13-14

Commentary: In the news there was an event of a ‘mystery-priest’… there was a serious accident when a girl was trapped inside the wreck vehicle, the emergency rescue work secured the wreck and stated only to find that their equipment to pry her loose was not working, suddenly appeared a ‘Priest’ from nowhere and stated to pray over the girl and anointing her with oil, he then left as suddenly as he had appeared, then their equipment mysteriously started to work, and they rescued her from the wreck.  She was admitted to Emergency and is expected to have a full recovery.

In life we all have had experience of an event that cannot be explained, and in life we all have experienced being led into a situation that was not pleasing to our Lord.  The question today ‘how can we discern the ‘Angel’ versus the agent of evil?  ‘Test the Spirit’ but not to tempt our Lord…

Acts 5

New King James Version (NKJV)

Lying to the Holy Spirit

5 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. 2 And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? 4 While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”

5 Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. 6 And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.

7 Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8 And Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?”

She said, “Yes, for so much.”

9 Then Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” 10 Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband.11 So great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things.

EVENING:

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Romans 5:1 (NIV)

Peace and Hope

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Today as we look back 1,984 Years ago to the year that our Lord was walking this earth, our Lord placed no value on material things… even the money needed to buy the daily food for His Disciples, he entrusted this to Judas. No, our Lord was aware that Judas was not loyal, and dishonest; Jesus also knew that this same Judas would betray him, as he was the treasurer for Jesus. Judas often stole from the money bag, and our Lord knew this.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

1 Thessalonians 5:17; 17 pray continually…   JAMES 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus today in Faith we come knowing that You ascended into Heaven and sits at the right-Hand of our Father on the Throne of Righteousness.  Jesus Messiah, Eternal Sovereign God in One of Your Father and His Holy Trinity, We thank You for Your Saving Grace.  Lord today we seek Your guidance as we pray for this nation of the United States and nations around the world, we ask Your Divine blessings that our people will turn to You and seek You and You will heal our land. Lord, we ask Your Divine Blessings on our Visitors and grant us all Your Favors. Lord we are Privileged to Serve You for Your Glory. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore. Amen.

Know this… God sends us all His Helpers.

During the course of your life’s journey, have you ever had the experience of success? Can you look back and say it was all your own planning and hard word? Or was it with help of someone almost by accident…

There’s no such thig as good-luck. Good Luck is defined as being ‘Prepared and being in the Right-Place at the Right-Time’… This is called opportunity.

Opportunity comes by many times per day, and some are missed, and especially those we missed in bringing Christ within that opportunity.

For those visiting this site at this moment it is an opportunity, a Divine opportunity to know Christ, or to gain insight and use the message to lead others to Christ.

The founder of the Navigators® founded his worldwide Bible Ministry on the principle of…” To Know Christ and to make Him known”.

Text Box: Dawson Trotman speacking to a servicemanWe salute the Navigators® for their outreach to 102 countries around the world.  The NAVS have been transforming lives since 1949.  Dawson Trotman the founder who was ‘Born to Reproduce’. He used this and the key principle of his Mission.

Looking ahead for this week, we see challenges but the days ahead are really filled with opportunities… why? We will meet new people, we will visit with friends, and we can pass-on the Good News.  The good news is that all what we need will be provided by the Providence of our Lord to those that seek Him.  Look at Matthew a Tax Collector that used his mission in life to bring the Good News of Jesus to his Jewish people.

Matthew’s message was and is focused to the Jews and the Gentiles as well, that Jesus is the Messiah, and through Jesus the deliverance from sin and its effect is available to both Jews and Gentiles.

To the unbeliever Matthew made his statement that Jesus welcomes those who called upon our Lord as He is the Savior of the world, (The world means living beings not the physical world)

Let us give thanks for the Favors of our Lord… 2 Corinthians 8:14

At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality, 2 Corinthians 8:13-15 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 8 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

2 Corinthians 9:8

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:7-9 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 9 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer… Lord Jesus today as we gather with all friends and families, we Thank You and Praise You for Your Graciousness knowing that it is only by Your Grace that we are saved and journeying to Your Kingdom, where You have prepared a place for us.

Jesus You said…”I am not of this world” You ascended to Heaven, but You did not abandon us; You sent The Holy Spirit to be with us while You went to the Father. Lord we acknowledge the same Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus You have said… “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them”.

Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we thank You for the privilege of serving You. Lord be with us today as we give You first place in our lives, to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

What are you anxious about today?

Are you facing anxiety and apprehensions in today’s changing world?  Are you taking a trip boarding a flight? Crossing the borders back to your homeland? In less than 2 decades the safety and confidence level of our citizens were made into a cattle run, like cows lining up to be branded.

In the current event of post 911, it appears that the Joy of this great county has been dampened by the ever increasing anti-terrorism procedures, and our culture is impacted by the division at the highest level of our government, The daily news and the political maneuvers are draining the energy and cultivating the instability from within our own society,  It may be the time for us to seek God’s help, as so written in 2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Devotionals for Saturday:  October 14, 2017

What is your constant-battle? The way out is to look away and turn to Christ…

Paul the Apostle that Jesus chose to be His vessel, said…

Romans 7:24

O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?

Romans 7:23-25 (in Context) Romans 7 (Whole Chapter)

In our daily lives, we are bombarded by the world’s distraction via, Print, electronic (TV-Internet) radio, etc. the apostle Paul in the text above was merely saying “I am a man, and I am susceptible to the temptations”.  To be tempted is not a sin, but to partake in the temptation and enter an act of complicity is a sin.  The constant battle with the forces of temptation is not regulated to our bodies, it is our mind, so be mindful of our imaginations that we are not led astray.  In a recent piece written by Leroy Elms, he stated that his friend that contracted Polio and while he was wasting away in an Iron-Lung machine weighing less than 70 lbs., he asked him what bothered him the most, and the reply was the ‘Lustful’ thinking that went on in his mind constantly.

Our Lord Jesus who was tempted by the devil never partook of the temptation, He overcame the wiles of the devil with the Word of God…  So, there is a way for us to deal with this universal problem which is:

Psalm 119:11

King James Version (KJV)

11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Text: 1 John 5:14-15 Amplified Bible (AMP)

14 And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us.

15 And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.

Conclusion:

We again reflect on the apostle Paul while being taken to Rome, their ship was wrecked on the island of Malta, and the event of the snake that fastened to his hand was an event that got the attention of the natives.  Here we see how our Lord not only made Paul His vessel, but He made him a prominent leader to bring the Gospel to the gentiles.

Acts 28:3

And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.  And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.

Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god. Acts 28:2-4 (in Context) Acts 28 (Whole Chapter)

Principle: God will use men that are chosen by Him even though their background may be ‘spotty’

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

His Faithfulness- His Graciousness:

We can count on our Lord’s graciousness, and He said He will never leave us nor forsake us.  Finally, we want to remind everyone that it is not Faith that saves us, it is GRACE, and only by His Grace we are saved through Faith in our Lord Jesus.

Accept His Invitation today; come to our Lord as He is willing to accept you just as you are…

Pray:  Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and through You Lord Jesus we can be Redeemed as we come with a contrite heart seeking Your Forgiveness, Lord we thank you for Your Saving Grace and the many Visitors that we are privileged to serve for Your Glory, we give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday:     October 13, 2017

Dealing with Thunderstorms, Turbulence, Crosswinds, updraft, down drafts & whiteouts, they humble us all…

Modern aircrafts are capable of surviving these, and the weather forecasts, radar, and updates from the ground and other aircraft can help pilots steer clear of these worst weathers. But rough air is not the most dangerous element of flying through a thunderstorm, the Pilot always tries to avoid other dangers, such as lightning and hail that can break cockpit windows or damage engines.

While Air-Safety has risen by more advanced planes and more experienced pilots, the abundance of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) scientists found that a doubling of carbon dioxide (CO2) levels in the atmosphere would increase the average amount of severe clear air turbulence at 11 kilometers by 149 per cent.

The solution lies in the use of Green-Energy (Bio-Fuel) and the mandate to reduce the Carbon footprints of planes will be mandatory as Commercial Air-Traffic is on the rise.

The Air Turbulence factor is a concern for aircraft manufacturers, and they know the solution, but changes take a long time on a global scale.

On the other-hand, the Bible revealed the flights of Flaming-Chariots as a mode of transportation, and Jesus’ Ascension by Levitation.

Jesus came as a Babe born in a Manger, but He departed by a Super-Natural mode.  We must remember that Jesus was born of a Virgin, meaning He was sent from God.  There’s so much we cannot understand, and because He is God we must go in faith trusting on His Word, and His promises.

We can adopt God’s promise of… Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. In Context | Full Chapter |

FOCUS: Defying Gravity… something man is still trying to achieve…

Beam me up Scotty… the famous lines from the TV series Star-Trek® The ascension of Jesus was not a ‘virtual reality’ it was a real-life situation seen my His disciples.

Does God need our Help?   No! But He placed us here for a purpose, what is this purpose?

You are a Chosen Generation….

Text:

1 Peter 2:9

Amplified Bible (AMP)

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation; [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

A short but specific request to our Lord:

Psalm 25:4-5 Amplified Bible (AMP)

Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths.

Guide me in Your truth and faithfulness and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You [You only and altogether] do I wait [expectantly] all the day long.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, in Jesus our Sovereign eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity we come.  Lord Jesus as you ascended to the Throne of Righteousness as our Lord and Savior, Lord we thank You as through You Lord we were made Joint-Heir to Your Kingdom. Lord we are privileged to be called a Royal Priesthood by Your Redemption, and only by Your Divine Resurrection we can have Victory in You Lord.  Lord we are privileged and Blessed and we Praise you and give You first place in all our lives. Lord, thank You for the many Visitors coming to hear Your Good News today and Lord bless our Visitors and grants us all Your Favors. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Think on this today:

Because Jesus said, He came that we may have an abundant life and have it 'more' abundantly... why did Jesus said 'more' in describing 'Abundant'? Because He has prepared a way for each of us to have a 'Double-Portion' and His double-portion is an eternal life in Him.

Devotionals for Thursday: October 12, 2017

Note this…      We are all ‘displaced’ even a ‘True-Native’ is a foreigner, why? Being expelled from Eden…

Yesterday the semi-holiday was Columbus Day, this is a day that is supposed to celebrate Columbus discovery of the new world.  Discovery is defined… the act of finding or learning something for the first time: the act of discovering something.

Columbus discovery was meant that he himself learned something new, he did not discover the land called America. He discovered that people already existed here before he came.

To say I have discovered gold is really not a discovery, it is a finding.  So, in fact Columbus ‘Found’ that in 1492 his boat could have made it to the western hemisphere, he also met early settlers that were here before him. I wonder if Columbus asked the question of how did the settlers found the country and where were they from?

So, we declare Columbus Day a day of discovery of a country where someone else already found it and inhabited it.

Today we are all ‘Foreigners’ in a land farm from the ‘Home’ that God gave our fore-parents.  Eden the prefect place from which Adam and Eve were evicted. It was closed and hidden from sight. One day the new Eden will be revealed, and the Lord will declare this to be His Kingdom.

Are you going there? Ask yourself this.  On earth we have exclusive membership communities.  Heaven is also an ‘Exclusive’ membership place. But you do not have to be recommend by another member, or be sponsored by anyone. Devotionals for Wednesday:  October 11, 2017

Taking time to see those in Need, thinking of how you may help…

The world is full of ‘What have you done for me lately’… the question is; what have you done for someone lately?

Lately mean recent time, not a year ago. What help have you received lately? We might not know it, but each day we receive help, when we pray, Lord give us our daily ‘Bread’ I believe Jesus was saying pray to receive His Divine Blessing as He is the ‘Bread-of-life’…

Luke 11:2-4 New King James D (NKJV)

So He said to them, “When you pray, say:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us day by day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins,
For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.”

Give a Man a Fish, and You Feed Him for a Day. Teach a Man to Fish, and You Feed Him for a Lifetime. Chinese Proverb.

Some of us may feel that the teaching of the Lord was to make us totally dependent on Him, quite the contrary… The Lord told Moses to stop crying out to Him and just ‘Do-it’ Jesus said…”Follow Him-and He will make us fisher of man”  The Lord sent the disciples out, he said, take no money, no spare sandals, just go.   So, what are we waiting on?

Matthew 25:40

And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

Matthew 25:45

Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ In Context | Full Chapter | O

Commentary:

How privileged we are… step out of darkness into His marvelous light!

Just think that we are special… We are of ‘Royalty’ associated with HIS Priesthood, purchased by His Blood of Atonement; He pointed us in the direction to perform His wonderful deeds and display His Virtues and His perfection, all of these belong to our Lord as He has made us a Joint-Heir in Him.

What our Lord has said… We are granted the privilege of being in His Palace, it is like the queen of England saying, and you may enter into Buckingham Palace and move in and be a subject of Royalty… But what our Lord said is far Greater than the Queen’s invitation, she herself would like His Invitation to enter His Royal Suite, and be a Subject of the Most High, The King of all kings…

So today as we read His Faithful Words, let us recognize that these are not mere suggestions, they are as factual as can be, and should be fully acknowledged that our God does not say anything that he doesn’t mean, not does He engage in idle talk.

Therefore, as a Royal Subject, let us conduct ourselves like a distinguished subject of our Lord, but yet he humble and without pride, and without self-exaltation. And serve our Lord as a servant to His community by setting forth His Wonderful Deeds and display His Virtues of perfection in the full light of His Radiance.

Lord, thank You for the many Visitors coming to hear Your Good News today, and Lord bless our Visitors and grants us all Your Favors. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Try this…       Refresh by ‘Rebooting’ Press the ‘Jesus’ Button and do a ‘Restore;

Our internet provider tells us to unplug the router and clear the cache from the browser.  This speeds up the internet connection.  In Awe I can say my direct communication with the Lord is still the most reliable, I do not have to push a button, type my thoughts, even though I can now speak into the computer, it will be 80% of the times get what I said wrong.

COMMENTARY:  Until the introduction of the IBM® Personal computer which was introduced on August 12, 1981 there were word-processing machines that were really a typewriter with a tape recording feature.  In fact, it was just a little more advanced that the electric typewriter.  Until Microsoft introduced their Office-Suite and Apple® with their Macintosh® then the information age started to gather steam.  When the internet was first introduced widely in the early 90's which was originally made back in 1982 as a global networking system, later to be called the internet...  So today in almost 3-1/2 decades of word-processors leading to the World Wide Web the information age became a reality.

Now the introduction of 3D Printing will propel technological advancements into a higher sphere of productivity.  Our answer to what is man’s greatest invention is… nothing, we are just ‘discovering’ just like Moses, he was not the author of all five books of the Old Testament, why?  Moses wasn’t yet born when these events took place in Genesis. But he was given the knowledge and the resources to document the events.

FOCUS:  No Internet connection needed, no appointment necessary, and never a busy signal…

So, coming from the ‘Heart’ is the truth.  This process may also be a function of what the Lie-Detector monitors to arrive at the ‘emotional’ response that will translate to truth or not-true.

Let us pour out our hearts today to Praise our Lord Jesus as He is Supreme and He is Eternal and He is Faithful.  Know that He came to redeem us and as he said… He came that we would have an abundant life and to have it; More’ abundantly.

Devotional:

Lord Jesus knowing that what we think before we do it You already know it, and Lord because You were there with the Father at the beginning, we affirm that Your coming is the ultimate sacrifice made for us… as said that ceremonial and symbolic worship cannot remove sin and only in You Lord Jesus we have forgiveness of sins by Your Grace and through Your Blood of Atonement.  Lord thank You for Your Saving Grace.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven we come Lord Jesus, we thank You this day for Your Graciousness and Jesus Messiah we praise You and give You Preeminence above all.  Lord bless our Visitors and Your mission here as we seek You and know that all things work together for the good. Lord we give you thank and go in faith.  To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday:  October 9, 2017

Do this…   De-clutter your space and open your mind with a clear view…

You have heard this… “The second Coming of the Lord”.  Many reference in made when Christ returns it will be His second coming.  Let us ‘De-Clutter our minds, the return of our Lord Jesus will be His ‘Third’, why? Read on…

Fact: If earth is a billion years old, so is Jesus, is His return the 2nd or the 3rd time? The 3rd will be a

Glorious Day, He said He is coming, believe Him because He speaks only the truth.

Who is Jesus? He is the ‘Great I am’ and He is God Emanuel… No one ever did what He did for us all.  He is the Redeemer.

He is my Redeemer and He is the Great “I AM”

His return will be His 3rd Visit.  He was here before when it all began… God said, “Let there be Light” and there was Light and this Light was Jesus. Jesus/Yeshua came before the Sun was installed on the 4th day.

His 2nd Visit was when He came as God-Emanuel, He fulfilled His Mission of Redeeming us by His Sacrifice.

He gave us His irreversible and irrevocable Gift.

His third and final visit will be on that day known as the ‘Day of The Lord’

Let us all look to that glorious day when the trumpet will sound, and His coming will be seen from the East to the West.

No, our Lord is not ‘too busy’ to return as some say where is He and I have been hearing of Christ’s coming and when will this be?  Our Lord is Gracious and He wants all to be saved, and His time is not ours, so just Trust Him and remain in Faith knowing that he said He will never leave you nor forsake you.  Praise Him come to Him and know that our Lord Jesus is always there for you.

TEXT:  John 16:28

I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

John 16:27-29 (in Context) John 16 (Whole Chapter)

Principle: His ‘Priceless’ Gift I accept and this is the Grace of Salvation from our Lord Jesus. By this I can say my Redeemer Lives!

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Ephesians 2:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)

For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11 KJV

EVENING:  Action/Coming to our Lord:

Conclusion:

To know Christ… Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Hebrews 13:5

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name, I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come.  Lord Jesus as our Mediator we acknowledge that unless we come through You no one comes to the Father. Lord we thank You as we stand in Faith acknowledging Your Grace; and we affirm that it is only by Your Grace that we are saved and not of anything we do. Lord we thank you for Your divine redemption. Lord bless our Visitors and grant us Your Favors as we seek You and give You first place in our lives. Lord we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Sunday:  October 8, 2017

Morning:

Today is your opportunity to give Thanks and Praises by sharing the Good-News, let your ‘Light’ shine for the Glory of the Lord.

Think on this… What will it be like in Heaven, what will you be doing when you get there:

Text: Revelation 21:18

The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.

Commentary:

Are you doing His will here on earth? Today the word “Sustainable’ is predominant in food production, energy and conservation. In God’s economy what is considered sustainable?  The Love of God is… Forever and Jesus our Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Idols are not necessary images of gold; silver or even stone… anything that we spend more time focusing on; is construed to be an idol.  So, we worry about the economy, the business, the house, cars, kids, paying bills etc.  Guess what?  There’s a coming day that all this will be irrelevant.

Our focus should be as directed by

Matthew 6:33 NKJV

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Matthew 3:17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

In Heaven there will be One Lord, One God and He is Jesus… Every knee shall bow, and every lip will give our Lord Jesus the Glory knowing He is Lord and God in the Holy Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, dwelling among us all in His Kingdom.

Heaven is a place fully sanctified and ‘Hardened’ (hardened means to be protected from radiation) against sin, there will be no deceit, no greed, no immorality, no Hollywood, no jails and no hospitals, no cemeteries, only LIFE and it will be Ever-Lasting, and there will be no pollution as there will be no Power Grids, because our Lord will be the source of Light, and the Joy from him will replace the 1,500 channels of nothing on TV.

Jesus gave us all a ‘glimpse’ of the above, but our finite brain power could not break the barriers. Because our ‘Faith’ has limitation that prevented us from reaching His dimension, remember Jesus said…” I am not of this world”;  therefore, be prepared for un-bridled Joy in a place of un-imaginable Splendor described by Jesus himself as “Paradise’

While we are not able to go to His Kingdom until that day when we leave this earthy tent. We can come to our Lord Jesus and in Faith have communion with Him as He said come unto me… and because He became our Redeemer replacing the ‘cleansing-rituals’ by the torn curtain, we can boldly come to our Lord Jesus….  So, we come Lord knowing You are there and are in our Midst, Lord we thank You Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God.

EVENING:

Mark 16:19

[Christ Ascends to God’s Right Hand] So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

John 3: 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Let us Praise our Lord as we end the day…Colossians 1:16

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

Prayer.  Father we come in Jesus our Lord and savior. Lord as we end this day we thank You for Your Graciousness and we place all in Your Holy hands.  Lord be with us tonight as we thank You for the privilege of Boldly coming to You knowing that the dark clouds are gathering which will be broken by the Trumpet’s sound.  Lord let Your Holy Spirit be with us as we thank You for Your Favors and Your Faithfulness in meeting our needs and the needs of our Visitors. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus as we look to a new dawn filled with Your Love and Grace, to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Saturday:  October 7, 2017

Do this… List the ‘Good-things’ of the week, discard the not-so good ones. Make Christ Preeminent.

Reviewing the week… sometimes what we think is solid isn’t so. Offering to sell a large project, someone came and indicated his interest, he represented himself to be associated with a bank, named the bank and stated that he was pleased to deal with a Christian group, and he said he also was a Christian,(We will refer to him as #1) While we also have two other prospects, we thought #1 was the buyer and spent more time with him, it turned out that he was more a promoter/broker, and the one we thought to be the less-likely is the qualified purchaser.

So, ending the week learning that reliance on an individual should be done under the principle of how Jesus would address all three prospects. Jesus did not show preference, and we can attribute this to the fact that Jesus knew the heart and He knows our thoughts even before we utter a word.

So Where is Jesus? He is right where you will find Him if you know Him.

Many scoffers have said, I have been hearing of Jesus’ return and, where is He? To many that do not have a personal relationship with Him and are waiting for His return, it is like going out to the airport looking to meet a celebrity that do not know you nor do you have any idea if you will be allowed to meet him, because you have never had any prior contact with him.

We say you will find Him if you know Him.  We often times spoke of; to know of someone versus to know the person.  Jesus said, ‘Come unto to me” He also said, “you are no longer servant, you are my friends”

TEXT: John 15:15

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. In Context | Full Chapter |

His Faithfulness:

Yes! You can have that personal-relationship with Jesus today…

Just like the event of Nathaniel coming to meet Jesus…John 1:48  (NKJV) In Context | Full Chapter

47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!”

48 Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”

49 Nathanael answered and said to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”

What’s the Bible all about:

  1. It is a Book about God; In Genesis it documents the Creation of all things by God
  2. It’s a book about Jesus, He is the center of it all, In Isaiah the prophecy of Jesus was foretold 700 years before Christ was born.
  3. It’s a Book about Salvation: It is the Word of God, which is sharper than a two-edged sword.
  4. It’s a book about us:  God so loved us that he sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins. The Bible focus on us, and chronologically document the life and times of mankind.
  5. It’s a Book about today: The Bible is full of Prophecies that are being realized during our time, and today we can read the Bible and it is as contemporary within the hour and foretells the future that are unfolding before our eyes.

Hebrews 9:15
For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.
Hebrews 9:14-16 (in Context) Hebrews 9 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer: Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come, Lord Jesus knowing that You are God in One of our Father and Creator, we come and thank You for Your Saving Grace, and in Faith we accept Your Good News of Your Salvation. Lord Jesus thank You for coming and by Your Blood shed for us at Calvary, we are saved with Your Seal of Salvation. Thank You Lord for Your Grace as we look to You for Your Holy Spirit to guide us in this challenging world that You have conquered, Lord we Praise You knowing that” The Best is Yet to Come” for those in Christ as You have said, where You are so shall those in Faith knowing You shall be. We Praise You for Your Supremacy and Majesty Jesus, Messiah our Eternal Sovereign God, to you Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore…Amen.

Know this…  Today’s GPS systems are smarter, but they don’t know the way to the Kingdom in Glory…

GPS-Global Positioning system today tells you more than the routing, it intuitively tells you to turn to avoid traffic and warns you when a police officer is present. But there is still a mystery unsolved of a shocking incident in 1945, a whole bunch of five training flights that took off from Florida naval base under the leadership of an experienced captain, never returned to the base. All are clueless as to what may have happened to it. In fact, a Martin Mariner flying boat that was sent for the search operation, also went missing.  Could it be that there is a dimension or a ‘wormhole’ sort of a portal that leads to another dimension.

We have Google-Earth® Hubble Space telescope, Radars, Satellites, GPR (Ground penetration Radar), Scanning system that allows police to see inside your house.  All these and yet there are objects in a near earth range that are not discovered until an amateur astronomer finds it.

On that day when the ‘Last Trumpet’ is sounded, I wonder if any of the above will detect the coming of the Lord… our take on this yes, but there will be nothing they can do about it.

1 Corinthians 15:52

in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Topic:  Jesus loves you… this is a favorite saying of many pastors, “Jesus loves you and so do we”

Text: John 3:16 (NASB)

16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Commentary: Your greatest temptation will come after your recent Victory in Christ… Be prepared…Ephesians 6:11

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

The road to Victory is littered with lots of detour signs.

Turn your GPS to (God’s Providential Sanctuary) let your destination be His Sanctuary of Splendor and avoid the pitfall of the devil.

The old Sunday’s school chorus of; ‘Jesus loves me this I know’… is an ideal precursor when we were innocent in the shadows of our parents and having early gathering in Jesus name… In our digital age, the generation of youngster are more analytical, with more knowledge of logics, and the same does for the adults. So, this favorite theme of ‘Jesus Loves You” is now passé’? no, but to proactively quote this without the reason of Jesus’ Love, it is incomplete as the Love of Christ is undeserved and to say Jesus loves you while the person being addressed in well entrenched in sin, without the factor of ‘Compassion’ and Mercy and Redemption, the message is incomplete.

So today we want to expound the real reason why Jesus loves you…before going to the reason, we want to recap the following:

  • Jesus is the Incarnate God of the Trinity, He is the First born of the Father Creator in His Holy Spirit
  • Jesus is declared as God in One of the Father Creator
  • Jesus was there from the beginning in the Garden of Eden
  • No one has ever seen God, except Jesus
  • We are all created in the image of God, and when God said, “Let US make man in our likeness” He was with Jesus.
  • Being made in the image of God, we live forever, as God never dies
  • Jesus came to Redeem us for the sin that we inherited from Adam
  • We now have the Salvation to Life-Everlasting though Jesus’ Crucifixion & Resurrection
  • Our Lord promised us an abundant life
  • And He said when we accept Him we are made ‘Children of God’
  • And being ‘Born-Again’ we are ‘Joint Heirs’ to His Kingdom
  • Jesus said… “I am not of this world,” He was from another world
  • Jesus Ascended to His Kingdom and sits on the Throne of Righteousness
  • Jesus is our Mediator, as the Bible said, there in One Mediator between man and God, and He is Christ Jesus

Action/Coming to our Lord:

His Time and His plan for us is not ours, and we must trust Him in Faith and come to Jesus to be Assured of being named in the Lamb’s Book of Live, that can never be removed once entered.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in the Holy Trinity, Lord as You are on the Throne of Righteousness interceding for us Lord, we come and seek You and we bring all things to You, as You said come and You will give us rest.  Lord today we thank You for the privilege of serving You for Your Glory. Lord we thank You for this mission of bringing Your Good News to many, Lord we thank You for the many Visitors and we ask Your Divine Blessing on each and Your Favors to be released to those calling on Your Name Lord. It’s a One-way ticket…     On earth are you making a ‘Stop-over’ or the ‘Stop-off.  Let’s hope it is a Stop-over, why?

Breaking News….Jetliner-Sized Asteroid Set To ‘Nearly Miss’ Earth On Oct. 12

October 3, 2017 4:04 PM

For the large asteroid that will make a ‘very-close’ fly by, let hope it is not a ‘Stop-over’ and just passing by.

Breaking News. On October 12, a 10-30 meter (32-98 foot) asteroid is set to make a 'close' flyby of Earth.

The asteroid, named 2012 TC4, will pass just 4,200 miles (6,800 kilometers) from Earth for the first time since it went out of range in 2012.

Let’s hope our journey here is just a ‘sojourn’ and this earth will not be our final destination. Because as sojourner we’re are just passing through enroute to the new promised land… God’s Kingdom, His place of splendor.

In the realms of space 4,200 miles is 50% of the range of how far the Boeing 787 airliner can fly, which is 9,198 miles.

Is God sending us His reminder of what will be coming? Revelation 8 tells us of Wormwood…

The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water — the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.

Let’s hope that on October 12th which is only 8 days to go the nations of this world will know that this is God’s. Wakeup call.

The Word of the Lord said… 2 Chronicle 7:14…  if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=2%20Chronicles%207:14&version=NIV

The power of the Lord will be seen, let us know this and not wait for that fateful day when earth will be shaken and left bare, come to Jesus today, there’s time and the time is now…

Commentary:

In the real world of everyday living the things we face, the people we meet and the day to day demand of just ‘jogging-in-place’ sometimes it becomes such a chore for many… In the ordinary course of our lives we face so many issues, some are mundane, some are critical for our well-being, and all are centered on the future.  Yes, the future is what life’s all about. To our kids it is tomorrow’s school lessons, to us adults it is the responsibilities of finances, health, relationships and having a safety-net for the future.

But the future is a moving target… simply because our destiny is not under our total control. While the hard-cold facts that the ‘business as usual’ of a comfortable retirement for many have somewhat subsided lowering the optimism and in actuality lowered the standards of what the golden years should have been.  For some the ‘safety-net’ is still intact and the future is secure… but there’s no real security in the future for either category.

As of 2009, in the wake of the housing and stock market crises, some 51 percent of U.S. households were at risk of being unable to maintain their pre-retirement standard of living at age 65, why are we discussing these issues, because there is a silver lining as our Lord promised to those who seek Him a life of abundance.

His Promise:

While our Lord said He came so we could have life and have it more abundantly, and He was speaking in the presence tense and in the future tense. He did not say we are to bury our heads in the sand…

He said Seek First his Kingdom

Matthew 6: 31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What   shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all               these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about               tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Conclusion:

Let us come to our Lord Jesus today and as told in Philippians 4Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven we come and give You our Praises and in Jesus our Eternal Savior and our Sovereign God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord we give You first place in our lives knowing that all good things are from you Lord. Lord we thank You for Your Grace and Your Blessing on our visitors to this Good News Website. Lord, as the chores of this world become heavier Lord we place all things at the Cross and look to You Lord to release Your favors upon us. We pray in Your Precious Name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday: October 4, 2017

You’re Out… You’re Safe. Choose one.  The obvious is ‘Safe’, are you safe?

Once upon a time Baseball was America’s favorite pastime, Football took the lead, and is now on a decline due to the arrogance and disrespect for the Flag and our national anthem.

The meaning of Sportsmanship has been lost to the agenda of those wanting to undermine the goodwill of what ‘Sports’ should represent.

Arrogance combined with the lack of forgiveness will always play out badly, and the present disrespect for the Flag is a bad-play. I believe the team consisting of the players, the managers and the owners lack the key criterion of ‘Forgiveness’ someone needs to tell the individual players that carrying a grudge, a contempt or even hate, these will only hurt the person carrying them and in fact it is a load causing mental stress.

The following is from the Mayo Clinic…

Forgiveness: Letting go of grudges and bitterness

When someone you care about hurts you, you can hold on to anger, resentment and thoughts of revenge — or embrace forgiveness and move forward.

By Mayo Clinic Staff

Nearly everyone has been hurt by the actions or words of another. Perhaps your mother criticized your parenting skills, your colleague sabotaged a project or your partner had an affair. These wounds can leave you with lasting feelings of anger, bitterness or even vengeance.

But if you don't practice forgiveness, you might be the one who pays most dearly. By embracing forgiveness, you can also embrace peace, hope, gratitude and joy. Consider how forgiveness can lead you down the path of physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Mayo recommends…

What is forgiveness?

Generally, forgiveness is a decision to let go of resentment and thoughts of revenge. The act that hurt or offended you might always remain a part of your life, but forgiveness can lessen its grip on you and help you focus on other, more positive parts of your life. Forgiveness can even lead to feelings of understanding, empathy and compassion for the one who hurt you.

Forgiveness doesn't mean that you deny the other person's responsibility for hurting you, and it doesn't minimize or justify the wrong. You can forgive the person without excusing the act. Forgiveness brings a kind of peace that helps you go on with life.

What are the benefits of forgiving someone?

Letting go of grudges and bitterness can make way for happiness, health and peace. Forgiveness can lead to:

  • Healthier relationships
  • Greater spiritual and psychological well-being
  • Less anxiety, stress and hostility
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Fewer symptoms of depression
  • Stronger immune system
  • Improved heart health
  • Higher self-esteem

  • Summation: Move away from your role as victim and release the control and power the offending person and situation have had in your life

As you let go of grudges, you'll no longer define your life by how you've been hurt. You might even find compassion and understanding.  (Credit the Mayo Clinic for this article)

In life as individuals we should practice the goodness of forgiveness. So, what do we carry as grudge, contempt or even hate?

Do no worry about any of these…                                                                    Ultimate outcome:

I lost money because someone stole it…                                                         The Lord will restore is multiple times.

I made a bad business deal because the partner was not honest.            One door closes and God opens the right one.

I had a relationship that ended badly…                                                           The Right person will come your way.

Commentary: This culture demands that unless we succeed or we are nobody,

Rest is defined by leaning on Him

Rest is to come to the cross and empty our souls our baggage and seek Him

Man's rest is the equivalent of slavery as technology made the office mobile and demand our attention perpetually

This culture of constant contact made us slaves to the world and placed us in bondage of engagement of too much un-rest by being held hostage to others approval

How do we find the Rest? it is by coming to Him

Jesus said I am the Lord of the Sabbath

The Sabbath was made for man to recognize God as the Creator

God rested on the Sabbath day he redeems the Sabbath and restores it to Rest

The Son of God is the Lord of the Sabbath

The Sabbath is the ultimate Rest

Jesus is the ultimate rest as He said come unto me and I will give you Rest.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and savior we come. Lord Jesus as we ready Your Word today and gather in Your Name, Lord let Your precepts be emblazoned in our Heart. Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all Your Peace. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forever… Amen.

Giving my Best, yet it is not enough… But, Jesus paid it All!

Naked we came, and assuredly we take nothing with us. Therefore, today we will focus on the Breaking News…

Las Vegas, October 2, 2017 7:29am PDT

A gunman turned a Las Vegas concert into a killing field Sunday night from his perch on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, using at least 10 guns to rain down a steady stream of fire, murdering at least 50 people and injuring more than 400 others in the deadliest mass shooting in modern United States history.

According to SITE Intelligence Group, a terror monitoring organization, the Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the Las Vegas shooting:

There are three things that we know will occur every time we get closer to the Lord:

As the Trump-Pence Team continue to give God the Glory, the devil will work overtime to destabilize the goodness of the Lord. The same goes for our personal quest to serve the Lord.

There are the factors that we want to highlight:

  1. This world is never going to be the ‘Tranquil place of abode’ if it was then Jesus would not have had to visit earth 2017 years ago.
  2. If humans were kind and gentle and in obedience to the two greatest commands, a: to Love God and Him alone, and; b: To love our neighbors as ourselves. Finally, if we were good enough to enter God’s Kingdom then Christ would hand died in vain.
  3. Because of the Good News of Christ’s Salvation and His Divine Redemption, we know that the Best is yet to come, despite today’s tragic headlines.

PEACE: A state of tranquility that we all desire.  How can we have peace?  The Peace of man is as good as an Ice Cube on Interstate 95 on a Hot summer day.

Only from our Lord can we have an Everlasting Peace. Real Peace by anyone on earth is still limited to a finite time.  So, we call this a ‘Superficial’ Peace as it can only last till be face that fateful day; but, should we have FAITH in our Lord and accept His Covenant of His Salvation, then we will have Peace here and Peace in a place of Splendor, which will be an Infinite Everlasting Peace & Joy, fully sanctified in the presence of our Lord Jesus. What a privilege we have in Him, as Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow and in Faith we can trust HIM.

We all seek a refuge, a sanctuary of peace…  and there will be Peace in the Valley, and on the horizons, the Plains of Joy because our Redeemer Lives!

Our Lord Jesus redeemed us by his Blood, and Jesus our said that He has prepared a place for those that knows Him.  This Heaven, and is described as:

Conclusion:

Lord as we pause in silence for the victims of the massacre in Las Vegas, we pray for the families and the loss of their loved ones. Lord we pray for this nation as it is in a state of being tested. Lord be with our leaders, and let Your Holy Spirit descend upon us all. Thank You Lord Jesus.

Heaven is a place of Incomprehensible beauty and peace…  Let us give thanks for our Visitors and go in Faith to You Lord Jesus as You Paid It All… Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are we will be. Lord, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Abiding Love of Christ…     One Day-At-A-Time

Thoughts for the Day:     What is irreplaceable in your life, what is the most precious thing that you possess?

TOPIC: What is more valuable than Gold?

Good News: The Genuineness of your Faith….

TEXT: 1 Peter 1:7  that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

1 Peter 1:6-8 (in Context) 1 Peter 1 (Whole Chapter)

Commentary: One could say that the most precious thing in our life is life itself.  This could be the most precious thing we possess, but what is life? It is just a vapor… James 4:14

Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. James 4:13-15 (in Context) James 4 (Whole Chapter)

The famous comedian Rodney Dangerfield once said, “I am so old so I do not buy green bananas” But Jesus said… “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing” John 15: 5 NKJV

Today we have the assurance of the faithfulness of our Lord… “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God”.  Philippians 15: 5

Because God loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life… John 3: 16

The Apostle Paul tells us in this passage that since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities, his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen and that seeing and understanding that, then men are without excuse.  In other words, a person can look at a sunset or a sunrise or the birth of a baby or the power and strength in animals or the way even an ant can carry something 10 times its size and one would have to say…there is a God who made all of this.  This just didn’t happen by chance.

Here’s something we need to understand…human history began with man knowing God.  Human history is not the story of a beast that worshipped idols, and then evolved into a man worshipping one God.  No! Human history is just the opposite: man began knowing god, but turned from the truth and rejected God.  God revealed Himself to man through creation, the things that He made.  The facts about God are not hidden in nature…no…nature screams out when we see the power of a thunderstorm and lightening streaks the sky or a tornado rips a one mile swath through a forest or we bask in the warmth of an evening sun with a sky ablaze in brilliant hues of orange and red and purple…all of these scream out…there is a God…there is a God!

Good News -His Faithfulness:

His Promise:

From the day of Creation God provided us with the goodness of His creation and gave us dominion over all living things. Just imagine, the creation of Heaven and Earth were made for Mankind… just think that God in His Infinite Wisdom by His Intelligent design did all this for us. Why” because He loves us... But we betrayed His trust and sin entered the lives of humans, now as descendants of Adam we inherited this blemish called Sin.  But nothing surprises our Majestic God; He provided a way for us to be redeemed by the Blood of Jesus. Jesus, who was with God and the Holy Spirit from the beginning of it all, Jesus was predestined to be our Redeemer.

Conclusion:

His Faithfulness:

God placed us here to enjoy the worship of him and the intimacy of his love for us
This is the big joy that he gave us so forget the short-term pitfall disguised as happiness.

Joy is from Jesus, as we ‘Rejoice’ in Him, as He is the Light of our Souls.

2: God named his creation i.e. Light, the expanse Sky, and he separated the darkness from light and the water from dry land.

  • God named it all,
  • The defining focus of God is Love not power
  • God brings order
  • God commanded; us to be fruitful and multiply
  • God blesses His living beings
  • God gave us lordship over all living things and dominion over earth

Prayer: Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus in awe we come knowing that all things were created by You as The Father Spoke and You acted in His Holy Spirit. Lord today we come to You seeking Your Divine Blessings and Your guidance, as we say that Your Hands are ‘Over’ us, and not in what we do, as You Lord do not need help, so we place all things in Your Hands and look to You knowing that all things are possible for those who trust in You Lord. Lord Your Unconditional love abounds in what You have created for mankind, Lord today let us be good-stewards of Your mission and bless our Visitors coming to this Website. We pray in Your Precious Name Lord Jesus, to You are the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.
