TOPIC: Now that you have wealth, self-satisfaction what more do you need? Guess what you are still lacking…

TEXT:  Luke 12:17-19 New King James Version (NKJV)

17 And he thought within himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?’ 18 So he said, ‘I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.”

The statement of…” Still Lacking” follows:

20 But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’

21 “So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”

Place your value of the treasures in Heaven… That new car will be just a piece of metal that will be obsolete in a few years.

Your money in the bank is eroding away as inflation is eating away at it.

Only what’s done for Christ will last… 

The story of the wealthy person that died and told his accountant that all his money must be buried with him, his attorney came to the burial and asked the accountant, how much money will you be placing in the grave? The account said about a million dollars, they attorney quickly pulled out his check book and wrote a check for a million dollars and said, let me have the cash and place my check in the hole.

We all need what we refer to as ‘walk-around money’… but the disciples when sent by Jesus, they were told not to take anything with them.

TOPIC: To whom do you turn to when you need help? Is there a 100% ‘Self-Sufficient’ person on this planet?

Focus: No man is an island…  from a sermon by the seventeenth-century English author John Donne. John Donne’s statement still stands even today with instant Emails, the Internet and what we call the age of information.

No establishment can be an island, the growth of an industry is by market penetration, and when the product is accepted and consumed by the masses then the business achieves success. Even the spreading of the Gospels cannot be isolated, it must be taken to the ends of the earth as commanded so by the Lord.

If someone claims to be 100% self-sufficient, he must be a very lonely person. God made us in His likeness and He said it is not good for man to be alone, so He made a woman.

Jesus is our ‘Go-To’, He is our Protector our provider and our Redeemer.  In the sequence outlined Jesus protects us, and by His Providence He provides and by His Grace He saves us.

Many may say…” Why do I have to be saved?” these are the reasons…

An Animal does not have to be saved, why? Animals were created for man, and God gave us dominion of all animals.

Mankind was created by God in His Image, Mankind is the only creation that God made with His own hands.

All other creations were spoken into being.

Being made in the likeness of God, we are an exact facsimile of the Divine Almighty…

Being made in the Image of God, we too shall never die…

In life if you commit a crime and you are caught you will be punished, in the realms of the Almighty God, He sees everything and you do not have to be caught, not do you have to even commit the act, just thinking can be an act of offending the Lord.  But thinking because we are tempted, God made a way for us to overcome the temptation and relieve us of the guilt.  We have not sinned until we participate in the temptation.

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

So we all are God’s creation and as such, we will never die… therefore, the Words of God that said…

“It is appointed unto to man once to die, but after that there is a judgment”, The point is, if we will be around after the physical death, then we must come to Christ and receive His Grace…

Let us spend this moment Praising our Lord and thanking Him for His mercies and His Divine Redemption.

In life, they say count the pennies and the dollars will take care of itself… So Choosing Christ, making Him the Author and Finisher of our Faith will let all things fall in-line.  Yes, we will have challenges, a there is always a constant battle against the evil one, but we have Victory…

TOPIC:  Are you living life without a care, or a life with lots of ‘care’? The difference of ‘Need’ versus ‘want’

In live there are individuals that can live their lives without a care… and some of the traits that this practice could mean that we have no concerns for others, not really.  Living without a care can still means that you care, but you have faith in the Lord who said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you”.

The definition of ‘Care’ is… the provision of what is necessary for the health, welfare, maintenance, and protection of someone or something.  Application of Care does not have to be with anxiety, worry or be troubled. 

Anxiety and worry is caused by self-dependency, and we all know our capacity. Our ability to be ‘on the spot’ to take care of someone is limited to our tasks that conflicts with being there for that person 24/7.


When we think that all things revolve around us and we are the prime provider and controller of events that occur in our lives, we will forever be with anxiety, worry or be troubled. 

Living without a ‘Care’ is not being careless or not having concerns for others… This care-free practice can be a healthy and a practical way for us to have ‘quality’ time to do constructive things that benefits us and others.  So, this oxymoron statement of being ‘Carefree’ and yet doing good for others, how can this be?  Being worrisome is like this…We can sit in a passenger seat while the Pilot is landing the aircraft, you can worry about the landing process and mentally do the check list… Airspeed, line up, flaps, leading edge, landing gears etc. while you expect these sequences to occur, nothing you do will help the pilot land that plane. So this is an example of being carefree.  Hopefully the pilot is an experienced flyer as they say… Takeoff is optional, but ‘Landing’ is mandatory.

Our Lord is Supreme, Preeminent and He has our back as he said… Cast all our cares upon Him.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

We all have a standing invitation to come to Christ, and even bring Him our burdens.

Think on This:  Jesus our Lord who came to redeem us, He came to ‘Serve’ not to be ‘Served’.  Everyone of us want to be ‘Served’... be like Christ, look around as serve others by telling them of the Good News… He is Risen!

Turn to the Lord and pray to him, now that he is near.

The Righteousness of Jesus is Pre-Eminent, and He did not claim to be the greatest nor wanted the title ‘The Great’ but His Humbleness and willingness to be the Lamb of God for mankind is more than we can comprehend.

Jesus never claimed to be Great, He claimed to be the Son of God, He never wanted to be king, yet He was King of kings, and one day this ‘Great’ King will return to be King of kings and Lord of lords.

So, looking at the so-called ‘The Great’ we can look at the art piece of Buddha’s remain in a box on the back of a Horse being taken to his final resting place, where he was return to dust.  But our Christ exited the Tomb and we can look at an empty tomb knowing our Jesus rose triumphantly and walked among His disciples for 40 days and then ascended to heaven.

Remember Jesus said… the Least among you shall become the greatest, the first shall be last and the last to be first.  So today are you feeling that you are not good enough, or you do not know enough and are passed by and left to be last?   Jesus said ‘Pick up your cross and follow Him’ what is your cross?  Your Cross is your resolve of knowing that Jesus is your Redeemer, as the sole purpose of His journey to earth was to die for you, and by His blood we are cleaned and are saved from the inherent sin of our forefather Adam. 

Evening:

Jesus is Faithful, If we have Faith we can do all things through Christ. Ask and your will receive:  When you ask “in-His Name’ and believe we will receive His Providence.

You certainly do not deserve a bad experience. Above this all, God through Jesus our Redeemer saved us from His wrath. What an amazing Gift, through His Grace.

Are politicians spreading their disillusion to the public?  Or is it considered lies? 

To misrepresent the fact, it is not a distortion, this is a lie, and when carried out with intent to deceive, this becomes an act of deception.  Deception is construed to be fraudulent.

Fraud is a broad term that refers to a variety of offenses involving dishonesty or "fraudulent acts". In essence, fraud is the intentional deception of a person or entity by another made for monetary or personal gain.

If this law was enforced most politicians would be in jail…

Plagiarism is considered academic dishonesty and a breach of journalistic ethics. It is subject to sanctions like penalties, suspension, and even expulsion. Recently, cases of 'extreme plagiarism' have been identified in academia.

Plagiarism is not considered a crime, but can constitute copyright infringement. In academia and industry, it is a serious ethical offense. [

It is amazing that even the ‘evil-spirit’ knew of Jesus and Paul, but the imposters were overpowered and beaten. 

 God will not be Mocked….

Commentary:

What is considered ‘Mocking our Lord’? The word Mock is defined as…

1: to treat with contempt or ridicule: deride

2: to disappoint the hopes of

3: defy, challenge

4 a: to imitate (as a mannerism) closely: mimic b: to mimic in sport or derision

intransitive verb: jeer, scoff

In our lifetime we all have experienced some degree of mockery, but the worst case of mockery is to have some form of ‘Respect’ for the individual but behind his back we commit things that are offensive to the person.  It is like saying Dear God, I love You and Praise You and I serve You, then in the afternoon we are violating his trust.  This is among the highest form of mockery that we can commit.  But our God who is Omniscience, Omni Potent and all Powerful will not be mocked.  In society we often misjudge Kindness for ‘Weakness’ Our Lord express such kindness and so many of us take His love for granted.  There is an “Entitlement’ offered by our Lord, and He offered His Love to have made the ultimate Sacrifice for us by granting us His Grace and it is an Entitlement that we must accept.

The scoffer that scoffs at our Lord and jest against Him, the non- believer is committing an act of Mockery against our Lord; but there is no consequence of mistrust affecting a wide audience.  So those in the service of our Lord must be guarded and be aware that the consequence is far-reaching.

Why bad things happen to believers? The occurrence of such is not unique to anyone of us. The Apostle Paul experienced many sufferings while he was spreading the Gospel.

Can you change the course of your future, yes…? It is only possible by the grace of God.

As mere humans we may not be able to change the future, but the what we do in the name of the Lord, our future can be secure.

What more do anyone need? Security that is all encompassing, today and tomorrow, with all our needs met, and above all a secure place in the Lord’s Kingdom. Yes, Jesus said this…

John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. In Context 

There’s so much we do not know, this is why… God is God and we are mere mortals, but, believing that through the Grace of the Lord by the Blood of Jesus who came to redeem us, we can believe His word of a ‘more’ abundant live. Abundant means to be already sufficient and above our needs, not just getting by, and when Jesus said a ‘more’ abundant, this is well over the top.

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

An everlasting Gift of HIS GRACE:” Ephesians 2:8

Verse 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— Verse 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

What do we have here on earth? Life is a Sojourn through this world, all of what we purchase are classified as non-durable and durable goods… but even the durable goods that are man-made; such as a Car, a TV, a Refrigerator they all wear out, nothing that we have is durable, GOLD is, but it was not made by man, Iron and other metal are forged by man, but they all breakdown, just like us, we get older and we suddenly find that we are mere mortals.

So, what we own cannot last, only one thing can last forever, The Love of Christ… and He gave us His Love and Redeemed us so that we can last forever…

Commentary: 

Think on this:  Praying to the Lord is the Most-Important Meeting we can have in our daily lives…

All other things we do are secondary, as only our Lord can Divinely prepare us for the day, He can smooth our tasks, inspire us, give us His Blessings, and by His Grace we can cope with all aspects of life’s responsibilities.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundant above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.  from Ephesians 3:20 NKJV  When we serve others by spreading the Good News, we are sprinkling the Fragrance of our Lord Jesus, and we also get the sweet smelling fragrance on ourselves… meaning that we are privileged to be a Vessel bearing the sweet smell of our Lord and Redeemer, and while we spread His Fragrance our Lord also blesses us with His Grace…2

Irrational actions can be avoided, learn the art of listening, and listen before reacting.

Never look back, the light at the end of the tunnel may be an oncoming train.

Look ahead and see the end of the tunnel…

God sent Jesus, because He (God) could not die for our sins’; so Jesus came as Man and God.

As He was crucified and died as a man, He rose as God. Therefore, He conquered death.

These are the most important events in the history of mankind…

  1. Christmas:      The Advent of Christ
  2. Good Friday:   The Crucifixion of Christ
  3. Easter Day:      The Resurrection of Christ

Beware…  Is the light at the end of the tunnel the exit” or an oncoming locomotive?

Again, it is a Stop-Look-Listen mode, as we go about our daily lives, let’s be sure that the light is the exit from the tunnel and not an oncoming train. 

Action rationally versus an irrational mistake…

Driving we cross intersections several times per day, and today while waiting for the traffic light to change some driver just pulled alongside us and ran the red-light.   Jokingly, I said that person just went on a ‘Miami-Green’ usually referred to as a red-light. 

As we once said, being cutoff in traffic causing me to miss the green-light, I consider this as a possible favor, why? Because if I had not been cut-off, crossing on a legal green-light, I would have been hit by a person that ran a red-light. So, don’t be anxious and be patient with rational thinking and remain safe.

Yes, it is the end of the tunnel, and the light shining is the Radiance of the Lord.  But our Lord will not be emerging from a tunnel, He will be coming in the Sky, and be seen from the east to the west.

Commentary:

You may wonder how can God know me an individual in a world with 7+ Billion people, how can Jesus know who I am and hear me as billions are praying simultaneously? This is probably the most troublesome question for non-believers and Atheists.  The answer is that God (Regardless of an non-believers’ unbelief) God our Creator who said “Let us” create, spoke the world into existence, and just as He and His Son Jesus with His Holy Spirit being there from the beginning of it all, their divine power of Creation is able to hear each of us, as the Divinity of God through His Holy Spirit is in each believer; and His Holy Spirit is like the Broadband ‘Wireless’ Internet that we as believer are able to speak with our God.

Who is this Jesus?  The entire Bible is all about Jesus as no one has ever seen God, except Jesus.  Jesus was there from the beginning of it all, and He is the great “I AM” The Gospel comprised of Matthew, Mark Luke and John, collectively they are ‘Proof’ of Jesus’ Birth, His Ministry and His Crucifixion and then as Testimonies of His Divine Resurrection.  The Book of Acts then testified to Jesus post Resurrection spending time with His Disciples and then His Ascension to Heaven.  .

Jesus came into this world by way of a Virgin Birth, an event that has never been repeated.

When did He know me?

Before you were born, He knew you…

How do I know if He is real?

            The world did not just happen; science and man still do not understand many things, the grand design of His Creation and His super-natural being, Jesus  born of a Virgin, died and rose by a divine resurrection is as real as real can be.

What a glorious day it will be… Many may become complacent, as these Words in the Scriptures were written 50-70 AD which is around 2,020 years ago.  So, if you are around the age of 60 this means that you have been hearing about the return of Christ for all your life. But don’t lose heart, as the Word of the Lord will be fulfilled, and what Jesus said will occur.

We all have one thing in common… a common name, and that name is “Sinners”, but by God’s Grace we can be saved.

      Why you cannot blend into the crowd when you are a Child of God?

The ‘Halo’ effect, this is when a person stands out, usually by… characteristics that included such things as leadership, physical appearance, intelligence, loyalty, and dependability.

Why are you special? He made us a unique group because He has set us aside…  We are wrapped in cotton, protected and guided…

Jesus spoke of the Lost Pearl… and in more than one way He was expressing His own experience…

Jesus gave many examples of those that went astray and returned, such as the Prodigal son, and the story of the lost sheep.

We can adopt these examples to ourselves and in many ways, Jesus was expressing His own joy of finding us, as today we acknowledge Him and know that His Grace abounds in our life...  as God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Romans 5: 8 NKJV

Not only did Jesus redeemed us by His Divine Resurrection, He made us Joint-Heirs…

When we spend what we have not yet received, is it an action of faith, or is itoverspending?

Government agencies do this based on incoming revenues, businesses do this based on sales and receivables from customers. Churches do this in faith, why? They do not have legal binding contracts with members, and tiding is made on a voluntary basis.

Here’s how you as an individual may be a part of God’s Treasury… make your pledges in faith, give as you may as you cannot out-give God.

Because what you endow and give in the name of the Lord, He will restore.

Remember… He Restores…Remain faithful like Job; in his plight He Praised the Lord…

When God Created Earth and the Celestial Heaven… how did the devil appear, and who is the devil?  The Bible relates that the evil one was the ‘Fallen Angel’ as there was a ‘War’ in Heaven, and the devil was cast out.  Now we may ask why God is allowing the devil to roam, and there is one other major question, why did God give us the Ten Commandment when it is impossible for anyone to not break these Commandments.  The Key Point here, God made us to have ‘FREE-WILL’.

Just like we see, in Job, the devil questioned God about Job, and God allowed him to try and upset Job, but God placed a shield over Job that the devil could not harm Job himself. What was the purpose of this exercise?  God proved that the devil had no power over what God had in Job’s life.  Even the bad things that the devil did against Job, God undid them and restored to Job all of what the devil took from Job 10 times more.  So, we revert  back to the Garden of Eden, remember we are created as ‘Free-Thinkers’ so when the devil tempted Eve, she failed to consult God, if she had done so; things would have been totally different, but she listened to the evil one and was led into sin. 

We need to know that in Genesis all along the way to the fall of Adam and Eve, God had laid out His Redemption. This is disclosed when God Killed the animal and covered Adam and Eve with the Skin from the slain animal. This is the Foretelling of Jesus Sacrifice at Calvary where His Blood was shed for our Atonement, and His Blood is the SEAL of our Redemption, just like the Blood on the doorpost to protect the Israelites when the ‘Angel of death’ would pass over Egypt killing the first born of Pharaoh.  Now we have God’s Redemption through Jesus that was prophesied by Isaiah over 700 years before Jesus was born to the Virgin Mary.

So, through Yeshua we know God and Yeshua-Jesus is our Redeemer. 

Jesus removed the Veil of the Temple, revealing Himself to be our High Priest giving us Access to Him.

His Promise:

What’s done in secret will be revealed, just like when light is shone in darkness, the darkness disappears.

The Truth will always prevail.

You are chosen by The Lord Jesus by His Grace and His Father God will provide our needs when we ask in Jesus name…

John 15:16 Good News Translation (GNT)

16 You did not choose me; I chose you and appointed you to go and bear much fruit, the kind of fruit that endures. And so, the Father will give you whatever you ask of him in my name.

In the text above Jesus said… we did not choose Him, He chose you, me and all, and He has appointed you. Me and all to go and bear much fruit, and the kind of fruit that endures. 

What kind of fruit last forever” Fruit is considered perishable and in the ‘Fresh-market’ whatever we buy will only last a few day.  So, Jesus was telling us to bear much ‘Fruit’ meaning bring others to Him.  Of all the things created by our Lord, the Earth, Water, Animals, the Stars, the Lilies of the field, and the cattle on a thousand hills, nothing is considered more valuable than you. Me and everyone who He created in His Likeness, so today we thank our Lord for His Unconditional love for you, me and everyone… He (Jesus) not only loves us but He wants to ‘Reward’ us… and His Reward is gaining a lifetime with Him, and the Lifetime will be eternal.

The challenges of this world will become passé’ regardless of who you are, we all have challenges. The rich worries about their wealth, the poor worries about their next meal, the healthy worries about their health, but as we see with Christ His disciples had no worries, they were all provided for. No one bought or sold anything, Matthew, Mark, Luke or John never had to sell anything nor to borrow from anyone.  Even Judas never had to earn his keep, but when he took the thirty pieces of silver to betray our Lord, we see a person that was always ‘stealing’ from the money bag that Jesus allowed him to carry, and this was not enough for Judas. Why? Because Judas never was a part of what Jesus said… John 6: 35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

Now that we have seen the Faithfulness of our Lord Jesus, let us come to Him and Praise Him and thank Him for His Divine Providence. We urge you to “Come to Him and to ‘Believe’ in Him and His promise that we will never be in need, is a truthful saying, worthy of our full faith and trust knowing that in Him we have victory.

We want to say that we should come to Jesus not just for what He will provide, but for His Unconditional love and His Divine Redemption, as He died once and conquered death by His Triumphant Resurrection, so come to Him, know Him, receive Him and He said all that call on His name shall be saved, and those He saved He made a Joint-Heir in His Kingdom.

This is the Good News… Receive His Grace today... go to our Green Pasture Page and come to Christ today.

A Patient & Merciful God… God through His Son Jesus came that we could be saved from the consequences of our sins

2020 years ago, on that first day of our calendar year Christ was born in Bethlehem fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 53 written 700+ years before the first day of 2020.

Conclusion

Come to our Lord today as He said come unto Him and He will receive you and forgive you of your sin(s) and you will be a new creation in Christ.

Pray... Lord Jesus I come in Faith accepting Your gift of Salvation and chose to be alive in You by your Grace my Lord. Lord Jesus receive me as I repent of my sin and accept your great Salvation by your Blood of Atonement, and I seek Your divine guidance in my life, to you Lord be the Glory... Amen. 

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord we come to praise You and proclaim You as our Eternal-Sovereign God. Thank You Lord Jesus for this day and Lord because of You it is a Good Day as we Pray for our brothers and sisters and all so they too will have a Good-Day. Lord as we know that this Day is made by You and all things are made new in You, let us be reminded that this Good time will continue in spite of the ‘end’-times that we face. Lord let us use this day to pray for our Visitors and those who are seeking You to be blessed with Your Peace. None of the above, Schools may have gotten worse, do not believe everything on the Internet, and study habits have not gotten better. So, how is knowledge being increased?

We are in the Information Age being eclipsed by the digital age…

The age of information is probably the most prevalent source of knowledge being increased.

Water.  Most of us take it for granted.  But have you ever taken a moment to stop and think just how important water is to you?  For the human body, water is truly a vital resource.  You can go weeks without food but only 5-7 days without water.  When the water in your body is reduced by just 1 percent, you become thirsty.  At 5 percent, muscle strength and endurance decline significantly, and you become hot and tired.  When the loss reaches 10 percent, delirium and blurred vision occur.  A 20 percent reduction results in death. 

There is no more important nutrient for our bodies than water.  No other substance is as widely involved in the processes and make-up of the body.  A man's body is about 60 percent water, and a woman's is approximately 50 percent.  Did you know that the human brain is about 75 percent water?  
 

  
Every day, we lose 2-3 quarts of water through urination, sweating and breathing.  Since many of the processes within the body rely greatly on water, it is important we replace our fluids regularly to compensate for this loss.  

So, did we learn anything new?

The Sun created by God is a source of hydrogen, and hydrogen is a source of energy. Our Lord created it all…

Hydrogen can be considered as a clean energy carrier, similar to electricity. Hydrogen can be produced from various domestic resources such as renewable energy and nuclear energy. In the long-term, hydrogen will simultaneously reduce the dependence on foreign oil and the emission of greenhouse gases and other pollutants…

Sunlight as the Power source…

There are also several experimental methods of producing hydrogen such as photo-electrolysis and biomass gasification. Scientists have also discovered that some algae and bacteria produce hydrogen under certain conditions, using sunlight as their energy source.

We too need some sunlight; it is recommended that we get exposure to the sun (with limitations) to obtain natural Vitamin D.

You are not an ordinary person… You are chosen, made perfect by Christ. His Holiness and His Righteousness made us worthy to be presented to the Father.

"In him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him."
Colossians 2:9-10

All the attributes of Christ, as God and man, are at our disposal. All the fulness of the Godhead, whatever that marvelous term may comprehend, is ours to make us complete. He cannot endow us with the attributes of Deity; but he has done all that can be done, for he has made even his divine power and Godhead subservient to our salvation.

His omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, immutability and infallibility, are all combined for our defense. How vast his grace, how firm his faithfulness, how unswerving his immutability, how infinite his power, how limitless his knowledge! All these are by the Lord Jesus made the pillars of the temple of salvation.

Seek the Lord and receive His Goodness, God desires goodness for us all...

Focus:  While seeking the Lord, seek Him for His mercies, His Love and His Grace, Seek Him to ‘Thank Him’ and to Praise Him for His Majesty, His Divine Gift of Life here and to come as He gave His life for you so that You may have eternal life through Him. 2020 years ago, yes, we are in 2020 and on that first day of our calendar year Christ was born in Bethlehem fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 53 written 700+ years before the first day of 2020.

Conclusion

Come to our Lord today as He said come unto Him and He will receive you and forgive you of your sin(s) and you will be a new creation in Christ.

Pray... Lord Jesus I come in Faith accepting Your gift of Salvation and chose to be alive in You by your Grace my Lord. God speaks to ordinary people. The message of Jesus’ Birth was told to the Shepherds. Why were shepherds not allowed in the temple?

Be strong, be courageous, lean on the Lord, not on man, trust in the Lord and not on our own abilities, because without Christ we have none.

Who is the Lord? Is He the same Jesus that we read about, dressed in a white robe wearing sandals? While the Bible said… He is the same yesterday and forever, yet He will not be returning in His white robe, why? As we recall Mary could not recognize Him at the tomb, why? HE was in His Celestial Form. Let us read about who He is?...

The winds hushed by his finger uplifted, the waves calmed by his voice, so that they became solid as marble beneath his tread; the tempest, cowering at his feet, as before a conqueror whom it knew and obeyed; these things, these stormy elements, the wind, the tempest, and the water, gave full proof of his abundant power.

Christ Is Our Advocate

We are to have intimacy with Jesus, and to live by His precepts and teaching….If we desire to be in a faithful walk with our Lord, we are to come to Him not when we are in need but to have a constant relationship just like your ‘best friend’ that you Text and Email or call daily.

We are to know that His Holy Spirit gives us ‘Power’ to overcome the evil forces and to rebuke the schemes of the devil by the Word of God… Just like when Jesus quoted Scriptures to ward off the devil that tempted our Lord. When we come to Jesus our High Priest, He intercedes to His Father our Creator, we are told to come to HIM boldly and make all petitions known with Thanksgiving in Prayer to our Lord Jesus.

No one is immune to temptation to sin, even Jesus was tempted but He remained Sinless, he used the scripture to thwart the temptation of the devil.

We too need the Two-edged Sword to thwart the temptation, which is more than ever a blitz in lights, on the TV, the Internet, Print and music etc.  We must look beyond the temporary pleasure that is abominable to our Lord.  We need to ask for His help in overcoming the urge.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus today as we gather to be powered by Your Word to overcome the evil forces, we rebuke the evil one by proclaiming You Lord Jesus. Lord thank you for Your redeeming Blood and bless our Visitors as we go in Faith knowing that all things work for the Good of those who call upon You Lord. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Living in a city that has drivers from all over the world, you need patience and learning to forgive is mandatory. Driving in a foreign land you will need to be forgiven. So, respect our guest drivers, as they respect us too.

Thursday:

You have an appointment, and it is mandatory… because God declared this, and you must keep it.

Friday:

Finding Peace today, where to look? Find it by closing your eyes… connect with the Lord, and His Peace will transcend beyond the the chaos of the world.

Saturday:

God gave you His Love, Peace, a sound mind with power, an amazing Grace and His Divine Providence of abundance. Did you get your share?

As you have been seeking after God you will find he has been pursuing you.

God gave you His Love, Peace, a sound mind with power, an amazing Grace and His Divine Providence of abundance. Did you get your share?

2 Timothy 1:

 7. For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.

Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God, 9. who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity, 10 . but now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel11. for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle and a teacher. 12. What was the foundation that Paul was basing his belief on in vs.12?

 For I know whom I have believed and am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.

It was the revelation, Christ saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity, 10. now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

He has called you with a Holy calling and purpose. He has equipped you for this calling.

In 2 Peter 1:3

Seeing that his divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness through the true knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and excellence

Know that God…

fulfilled by His Redeeming Blood, and in Faith I am trusting in Him that He has Redeemed, me and His Holy Spirit is in-dwelling in me, which is the Treasure He has entrusted to us.

Virus outbreak in China, an Earthquake that was felt in Florida for the first time, and madness/disruption by politicians.

So, close your eyes and experience the Peace that excels over all the chaos, and rest assured that all things are in the hands of the Lord.


As James said Faith without works is dead…

We must go in faith, and as the farmers will pray that their crop will be protected from hail and pests, they must first plant the seeds and water it.  So, we in faith… Must Pray and thank the lord for His Mercies, His Providence and His Divine Redemption.

Thoughts for today…  There’s no ‘secret-sins’ beware all things hidden will be revealed… So, we must apply caution, and let the Grace of our Lord lead us by his Holy Spirit. “Be sure your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23

Narrow is the way to His Kingdom, but broad is the way to destruction.  Destruction here is defined as condemnation… Matthew 7:13

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at.

As Solomon said, all is vanity… Let’s say you just got your new car and at the supermarket lot, you find the first big ‘ding’ how do we react? With some remorse of not finding that ‘safe-zone’ to park your new car.  When it comes to cars, we are protective, and when it comes to guarding our actions, we are less apprehensive and pretty much go with the flow.  The latter is where we are to place our emphasis, as our walk with our Lord is more important that a box with four wheels. Our walk with our Lord is forever as we stay the course with decorum knowing our Lord is near with us as we journey through the shadow of death and we fear nothing as He is present.

John 15:15

Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Luke 12:4

And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

Conclusion:

The invitation of our Lord is not like what we call an engraved gold printed piece of paper, the Invitation is Sanctified by the Blood of Jesus. When we accept His Gift, we are inducted into an exclusive chosen community with Jesus as the Head of our lives that is now blessed by His Word… For I came that you may have life and have it more abundantly’   This defines as…our lives here and in the world to come!

Matthew 25:23

His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, in Jesus we come, Lord as we acknowledge that ‘naked we came and naked we shall go’ and nothing that we possess will be taken but the greatest of all treasures will be taken into Your kingdom… Your Grace and Redemption Sealed by Your Atoning Blood. You have an appointment, and it is mandatory… because God declared this, and you must keep it.

    The difference in the Heavenly Realms by the Holy Spirit and being ritualistic…

Have you ever heard a preacher preached a whole sermon without the application of any Scriptural Text? Without the reference to the Scriptures and the Word of God, then the sermon is simply a narrative or a dissertation pertaining to a subject without the ‘Power’ of the Word.

Life management is different from Spiritual enlightening, and in Church, we come to hear the Gospel. Without the Gospel the message is lost.  Our Pastors are to be bearers of the Good News, and the Good News is all about the Lord, His Sovereignty, His Holiness, His Mercies, His Divine Grace and His Redemption.

Jesus said this in… Matthew 6: 33-34

Matthew 6:33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. In Context

Nothing has changed in the way the Lord interacts with us, the way He spoke to Peter, Paul, and even those of earlier times, such as Moses and Elijah, His Holy Spirit is still present with us even today.  One the day of Pentecost, His Holy Spirit descended and dwells among us as our comforter.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 (NKJV)

15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are [a]asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus, we shall always be with the Lord.

There is an incident that took place in World War II in the city of Stalingrad. (Now known as Volgograd) This is the Russian city known as the city where the Russian defeated Hitler’s largest contingent of troops which was a turning point in the war; contributing to Germany’s defeat, as Hitler commented… "The God of War has gone over to the other side."

The incident related to the last German aircraft to leave, standing ready for takeoff, it was filled to capacity with wounded German, many had to be left behind. Some tried to cling to the outside of the plane. When the place took off flying to Germany on landing none of those who clung to the place made it. None reached their destination except those inside the aircraft.

In our time, there are many ‘Clinging’ to the Christian truth, but they do not ‘enter-in’ by the door of faith.  (We are not judging anyone, but many are ritualistically coming to church, and will be blown away life chaff in the wind when that storm of Divine Judgment blows all those that are not ‘Inside’ will never be saved.  

We can never be saved by; Baptism, by Confirmation, or occasional attendance at church.  Jesus said ‘You must be Born-Again”

John 3:7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

Jesus the Good Shepherd

Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All whoever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

The Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your soul in drought and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose water do not fail. Isaiah 58: 11 NKJV

Conclusion:

To apply the principle of Matthew 23: 12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. And to remind my Brothers in their dedication of doing God’s work, He said… 1 Peter 5:  6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

Living in a city that has drivers from all over the world, you need patience and learning to forgive is mandatory. Driving in a foreign land you will need to be forgiven. So, respect our guest drivers, as they respect us too.

Forgiveness is difficult
Everyone say forgiveness is a good idea until they have something to forgive
The strength to forgive
Verse 5 the source of forgiveness is from faith
So we must increase our faith.


Faith is one of the most enigmatic intangible actions, but it is
The key to Power from our Lord.


Faith, Hope, Trust, & Grace are not commonly used word in
Legal documents, these are aligned to the Heavenly realms
 Forgiveness is only real when it is rendered with sincerity
Attitude is what makes up sincerity, forgiveness without repentance is false,
Love & Forgiveness is the cornerstone of faith.


Faith in our Lord is the source of our Power from Him
The power of our Supreme God who spoke the world into
Existence can change anything in our lives
Just ask Jesus to change the abominable things in our lives…
1 we must make a decision.
2. Must understand the need & urgency to give forgiveness.
3. You cannot come to Christ unless we have forgiven all.
4. You have to uproot the barrier to truly forgive others.
5. Forgiveness is paying a debt of someone that incurred a debt.
6. Forgiveness is to forgive & to forget.

The gospel is the Grace of our Lord and his Power
Mercy is of Grace
Jesus acted as a servant to us when he was a King
God is not obliged to forgive us it is by his Love that he extended His Grace
All sins are all sin, one sin makes us a sinner, but we must know that willful sinning is persecuting Christ again and those that willfully sin may duffer His wrath as he will give you over to a Reprobate mind and treat you as Hopeless or mocking Him.. God will not be mocked.
The Grace from Jesus is undeserved and we cannot earn it
Grace is what Jesus paid for by his Blood for us

Faith is the power from our God and in His son Jesus we have redemption by his Grace that cleanse us from our sins, now and forever.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus, because of You we are made righteous to be in Your Holy Presence. Lord bless our Visitors and grant us all You Divine Providence as we thank you knowing that all good things are from You and in faith, we go spreading Your Good News.

What will nurture your soul? … not that five-star restaurant, nor that high cathedral. But the Word of Christ will provide all the nutrient you will need in this life.

Reading the best seller, dining at the country club, attending the services at the city cathedral which of these may benefit the soul? The service at the cathedral may be the one, if it’s Christ centered, and the Gospel is shared.

The global trend on “None” is a serious issue for the churches. Millennials are the highest percentage on “None-believers”.

Is this trend a fulfillment of the end times prophecy?

Jude 1:18

New Living Translation

They told you that in the last times there would be scoffers whose purpose in life is to satisfy their ungodly desires.

While the trend of “Nones” are growing, we can share the Good News today… because the media platform of today is greater than in the days of Paul, Philip or any other messenger of the Word.

How can the Nones be reached? The wonder of mathematics can immensely exponentially reach thousands.

The Super-Natural Powers of God can be seen in each of our lives, where?  We are a unique, He ‘Made’ us and breathed life into us.  This is His Spirit, and because He (God) is Holy, so should we.  But Sin came into the world and Sin is a blemished that we are all inherited; was God surprised of mankind’s waywardness? No, this is why Jesus came and His coming was not a last-minute decision by God. 700 years before Jesus was born Isaiah prophesied of Christ coming to be the Lamb of God…  Why is Jesus the Lamb of God? Just like the Lamb that was sacrificed on the night of the ‘Passover’ of the angel of death, the blood of the lamb protected the Israelite saving them. This is the forerunner of the coming “Passover’ by which the Blood of Christ will keep us safe on that day when the next ‘Passover’ comes… This is; ‘The Day of The Lord”

Therefore, we are redeemed by the Atoning Blood of Jesus our Lord and Savior.

How do you receive His Divine Redemption? He said come unto Him and He will give you rest, The Bible said… All who calls on His name shall be saved, Jesus said He will never leave you nor forsake you…

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

And this is a choice that we must make… so the question is choosing whom you will serve.

Joshua 24:15 (NKJV)

15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Is 2020 off to a great start? At a recent visit to a hospital the parking lot is full to capacity. But, for some churches the lot is half empty… why?

There are many things you can do to increase your life expectancy: exercise, eat well, take your medication and ... go to church.

A new study finds people who attend religious services weekly live longer. Specifically, the research looked at how many years are added to life expectancy based on:

A growing body of research is beginning to define the complex connections between religious and spiritual beliefs and practices and an individual's physical and psychological health. No one says it's as simple as going to services or "finding religion" later in life. It may be that people who are more involved in religious activities or are personally more spiritual are doing something that makes them feel better emotionally and helps them live longer and more healthily. The question, researchers say, is what exactly are they doing?

"There is an increasing interest in the subject among researchers and the public," says Susan H. McFadden, Ph.D., of the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh, who is co-chair of the Religion and Aging interest group of the Gerontological Society on Aging (GSA), a national group of researchers in aging.

Aging experts will discuss religion, spirituality and aging at the GSA annual conference, which starts Nov. 19 in San Francisco. Sessions will include a discussion of a new report -- from the National Institute on Aging and the Fetzer Institute, a Michigan foundation interested in mind/body issues -- that details research on the religious and spiritual dimensions of health.

For sure ‘Great things are going to happen’ because Jesus said so…

As we read the news events of the day one could wish for the simpler times of life, when there was less stress, less strife.  Our world is a world of a constant battle and there are really no simpler times.

The battle started in the Garden of Eden when Eve was tempted by the serpent.  And this ‘serpent’ was the devil.  Now we may wonder why did God allow the devil to enter the Garden of Eden.  Because Adam and Eve were made in the likeness of God, created with ‘Free-will’ and the devil is always roaming seeking those he can destroy.  The devil was cast out of heaven and even now this evil one is lurking seeking to tempt you and me.

Adam and Eve were not robots and so are we… God gave Moses the Commandments and the purpose of this is to define Right from wrong.  We are given the freedom of choice.

We are made ‘Perfect’ in Christ… not by our own ability, but by His Grace and through His Redemption we are cleansed as we are covered by His Divine Blood, and through His Resurrection we are made Perfect.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Eternal Sovereign God in One of our Father and Creator and Your Holy Trinity, Lord Jesus; today we come to thank You for Your Love and Your Grace that provided Your Salvation by Your Resurrection to Life Ever-Lasting.  Lord what a Privilege You have given us. January is almost gone.  Last week we spoke of … the speed of light. And time is fleeting-by, is there is a reason?

The Lord is at hand… His presence is eternal, and in the Holy Trinity of Father: Son and Holy Spirit we have His Divine Grace and power.

Did you know? God’s plan includes you, is your name entered in His book of Life?

You may say how do I know that God has a plan for me? I have no special training, nor talent that the almighty God would want me as part of his plans.

Neither did Moses, David, Amos, or even Saul who became Paul...

Because you have been created in the likeness of God, You are a masterpiece. You’re an original. Not a copy and there is no one else like you.

Just think Jesus said even the very hairs on your head are numbered, so we were created to serve and not to be served. Just like our redeemer Lord and Savior… Jesus who made us children of Light.

Moses did say… Exodus 3: 11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” (the rest of the interaction between Moses and God is history)

Like Amos, who was just a shepherd who God sent to warn the Israelites…

Amos 7:11

For this is what Amos is saying: “‘Jeroboam will die by the sword, and Israel will surely go into exile, away from their native land.’

Amos 7:12

Then Amaziah said to Amos, “Get out, you seer! Go back to the land of Judah. Earn your bread there and do your prophesying there.

Amos 7:14

Amos answered Amaziah, “I was neither a prophet nor the son of a prophet, but I was a shepherd, and I also took care of sycamore-fig trees. In Context |

So, do not worry about your ‘qualifications’ when you are equipped by the Lord you will be able to accomplish the Lord’s mission regardless of any ridicule like what they did to Amos above.

Conclusion: Today we look at a world that is so separated by man’s greed and exploitation. Syria (Antioch) is known to have been the birth place of the Church of Christianity in the city of Antioch.  As we see a divided world of Moslems, Jews, Christians and other beliefs of Buddhism and others, we have a world that has drifted apart from God with their own agenda to dominate their regions and to expand their religion on a global basis. Notice the word used is “ReligionReligion is not Salvation, only Jesus Christ represents Salvation as Jesus is the only one that Died for our Sins. No one else died for others, except Jesus who made the Sacrifice to Redeem us from Sin.

Watch for… The DAY OF THE LORD… This is the day when our Lord will return, but the prelude to the Day of the Lord will be the Rapture… there will be the Sound of the Trumpet, but not everyone will hear it, only those in Christ will hear it.

Let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus who Paid It All… Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions and where You are we will be. Lord,  today let Your Holy Spirit be with us as we pray in Your Holy

Consider it a great privilege to be chosen and be sent. So, today… Stop-Look-Listen the Lord is calling you.

Prayer:

Lord, today as we pause to hear Your calling, Lord reveal to each of us Your desire. We acknowledge that You did say to Your disciples… take nothing, and do not worry what you will say, as your Holy Spirit will empower each of us. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we seek Your Divine blessing on all, and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

God gave you His Peace, a sound mind with power, an amazing Grace and His Divine Providence of abundance. Did you get your share?

Amazing Grace… how can this be? A sound mind with ‘Power’? Yes, He did. And Jesus said that we will do many things…

John 14:12 NASB

"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.

Good News: Consider that today we have the complete Scripture which is more than the disciples had as they followed Jesus; but they had Christ among them, We have the Comforter, The Holy Spirit, and we have a lifetime of opportunity to Praise our Lord Jesus,

Commentary:  The meter is always ticking, there’s no ‘free-lunch’ you cannot live without buying something or paying. But with Christ, all our lunches are ‘Free’, and the meter is fed…

Our Creator endowed us with the power of proclaiming the Gospel, while the Angels were not given this authority.   This is a little-known fact to many Christians that we were given a higher power than his Angels.

 

Where do we see this in the scriptures? When Cornelius who was a God-fearing man that sought the Lord, when the Angel appeared to Cornelius, he only spoke telling Cornelius to send a messenger to get Peter to come and bring the Gospel to his household.  Our Lord entrusted us to be messengers of His Good News, so claimed this in the name of our Lord Jesus.

According to the Scriptures when the Gospel is preached thought-out the world then the end shall be. Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.


Matthew 24:13-15 But we have nothing to worry about, as the end is the beginning of a life in Paradise… Why? because Jesus told the dying repentant thief at the Crucifixion; “Today you will be with me in Paradise”  We posted a note last week, to ‘focus on the Giver and not on what is given’ Therefore, focus on our Lord Jesus Christ as He is our Redeemer and he said no one comes to the Father unless through Him.

 

Prayer:  Heavenly Father we thank You in Jesus our Redeemer, Lord Jesus our Eternal Sovereign God in One of the Holy Trinity of our Father and Creator.  Father we thank You for the privilege of being entrusted to be a messenger as You commissioned. Jesus our Lord it is by Your Grace and Your Triumphant Resurrection that we can come in Victory. Lord bless this day and our Visitors as we seek Your guidance and be filled with Your Holy Spirit, just like when the Holy Spirit came to the household of Cornelius , Lord let the message of this Good News website be a revelation to many as we bring You and Lift You up before all for Your Glory. God poured His love on each of us… do you feel His love today?  Stop and experience it.

When was the last time you experienced being spared from a disastrous situation?

Know that Jesus loves you and as He said…

Philippians 1: And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

Knowing that God began a good work in you, and He will finish it.

Are you allowing Him to continue His work in you.

God’s work is good, and you are His handiwork.

What work have you done that is considered good? Our good work can be a part of our resume’ but, good work cannot get you into God’s Kingdom. And thankfully it cannot.

Because if it could, then one could boast.

Ephesians 2:8-10

8. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9. not by works, so that no one can boast. 10. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

When you know Jesus, He will meet all your needs. Why? Because He said He would, and it is accomplished only by our Faith, in Him and asking in His Name trusting that He said He would. So, thank Him.

Now that you have wealth, self-satisfaction what more do you need? Guess what you are still lacking…

The statement of…” Still Lacking” follows:

Place your value of the treasures in Heaven… That new car will be just a piece of metal that will be obsolete in a few years.

Your money in the bank is eroding away as inflation is eating away at it.

Only what’s done for Christ will last… 

The story of the wealthy person that died and told his accountant that all his money must be buried with him, his attorney came to the burial and asked the accountant, how much money will you be placing in the grave? The account said about a million dollars, they attorney quickly pulled out his check book and wrote a check for a million dollars and said, let me have the cash and place my check in the hole.

We all need what we refer to as ‘walk-around money’… but the disciples when sent by Jesus, they were told not to take anything with them.

Topic: Why does evil exist? Why did God give us 10 Commandments that we cannot keep? They were given to let us know His Goodness.

Text: Exodus 24:12
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them.”

Commentary: In life there is a wrong way and a right way. Why is there an instruction sheet enclosed in the little box that contains an electrical switch? Because you will attach the wrong wires to the wrong contacts, so read the wiring instruction to avoid burning the contacts. As we say… when all else fail, read the instructions.

In life we are confronted with allure of marketing, at an automobile show, they emphasis is not on the cars but the models standing by the vehicles. In most commercials the promotion is not the product but what the product will do for you. So in today's message we are focused on the 'Core-Aspect' of why Christ died for us….
First; He loves us, so this is the core reason, secondly, He wants us to be filled with Joy, Thirdly, He wants us to be where He is.

The above are what we consider to be God's perspective as the scriptures taught us. Now let's look at this from our own perspective. Why do we need a Savior? Because without His salvation we are going down in the Titanic, so the following is more or less of why we need to be saved:
First, we are all survivalist, and will always struggle to survive, secondly, we would like to avoid being cast into hell and therefore we want to find a way around this. Thirdly, His offer of Life Everlasting sounds interesting, but we oftentimes postpone the decision to take up His offer.

Now we want to analyze why did we receive the Ten-Commandments. Because the absence of a set of rule will cause us to be living a lawless life not governed by a set of instructions of how to live a good life. Just like the instruction of how to wire the switch, the commandments are there to tell us if we do the wrong thing we will be roasted, (like burning-up the wrongly wired switch)

We are all created as 'Free-thinkers' and having this freedom, we will choose the wrong things especially lured by the marketing blitz. Some things are obvious that are done in our lives by applying intelligence; but rational thinking is not always applied. This brings us to the irrational action that usually comes with consequences.
Life is a Vapor, The Bible said… James 4:14
Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

Principle: You can’t ‘Test-Drive’ Christianity… to see if it works for you!

His Promise / His Faithfulness: Deuteronomy 6:2
that you may fear the Lord your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged.

Conclusion: The Followers of Jesus gave their lives for the Gospel, Why? Because they knew His Resurrection was TRUE…

The book of ACTS is about The Holy Spirit and the Disciples, as we see that Christ gave them the Holy Spirit that empowered them with the Power to Heal, and to Proclaim Him with Authority and be Fearless, they did this as they were filled with His Holy Spirit, “The Comforter” that HE said He would send after He ascended into Heaven.

Today we can boldly come to Jesus our High Priest as our Sovereign God, as he said “It is Finished” and the Temple Veil was torn, and by His Blood we are saved as He, Jesus is our Intercessor and our Mediator and He will never leave us not forsake us.

Accept His Invitation today; come to our Lord as He is willing to accept you just as you are…

Pray: Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer we come knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness and through You Lord Jesus we can be Redeemed as we come with a contrite heart seeking Your Forgiveness, Lord we thank you for our Visitors and Your Saving Grace and we give You our Praises and to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Do You pray harder when you need God’s help? Is there a reason to hold God accountable to His promises?

Yes, we do, even though Jesus knew what the blind man wanted, He asked what would you like for me to do?

Mark 10: 51

"What do you want me to do for you?" Jesus asked him. The blind man said, "Rabbi, I want to see."

Why did Jesus ask?

Because it takes ‘Faith’ and belief to receive the Grace, love and gifts of the Lord…

As Jesus said to the blind man…

52. “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.

It was the faith in Jesus by the blind man that Jesus saw and healed him.

So standing in faith Praying and knowing that without faith it is impossible to please the Lord.

      The reason why we must keep on ‘Asking’… Jesus knows your need, but He wants us to know Him.

Jesus already knew what the blind man wanted, but, still Jesus asked… “What do you want Me to do for you?” why did Jesus asked?  It’s like being at an intersection and you see someone that seems like a destitute homeless individual, but he did not come up and ‘Ask’…  what do you do? One of two things offer to help or to ignore and move on.  It should be noted, that if the individual comes up and ask, you ‘must’ give.

So, Jesus gave His blessing and His healing power. We all have heard about; ‘do not cast your pearls to swine’ and ‘beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing’.

It is a bit of ‘Fresh-Air’ to share the providence of the Lord, but not to squander it. And as we address this, let us in reference go to the Lord.

Today I will address the most popular worship song (for this month) it is titled ‘God’s Reckless Love’ maybe the writer should have consulted the dictionary before using this title of ‘Reckless’ which means; reckless meaning: showing a lack of care about risks or danger and acting without thinking about the results of your actions.  The word reckless comes from the Old English word receleas, meaning "careless, thoughtless, heedless."

So, today…let us be fast in listening and slow to speak…guard our words carefully, it is like a bullet, once shot it cannot be retrieved. Don’t waste your bullets, keep your powder dry, these are the tips to guarding our surroundings.

Look at how God loves us, He gave us dominion over all living things, He gave us freedom, but we squandered the Paradise that he made for us, so as Adam & Eve were ‘evicted from Eden’ we are here today having to be employed or to employ and generate an income to meet our needs.

We do not choose our historical epoch, the country of our birth, or the immediate circumstances of our upbringing. We do not, most of us, choose to die; nor do we choose the time and conditions of our death. But within this realm of choice lessness, we do choose how we live. – unknown

God said we should also choose how we live…

To come to Christ and receive His Redemption, in Faith to receive Him…

The Grace and Love of our Lord

His Sovereignty, His Majesty, His Love, His Redemption….

His Omniscient… Jesus is with us always, even to the ends of the age:

HE is Omnipotent:  From Jesus our Eternal God, we receive His Power through His Holy Spirit:

2 Peter 1:3 [Confirming One’s Calling and ElectionHis divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

His Love:   Our Sovereign God loves us so much He sent His Son to Redeem us

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

His Saving Grace:

Conclusion: We can come to the Throne of Righteousness in Prayer knowing that our High Priest our Redeemer Jesus Christ intercedes for us and by His Grace we are Saved… Amen

Prayer… Lord let me be humble and by brotherly love not pre-judge anyone. Today Lord instill in me the presence of Your Holy Spirit and capture my ways, my thoughts, my all and let me shine as a beacon for You.  leading others to You my Lord, as You said let it be done on Earth as it is in Heaven therefore; Lord use me and let Your Kingdom be broaden and grant our audience that seek You Lord; safety and as Your said Lord.. ” You will never leave us nor forsake us”, To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore, in Your Holy name Lord Jesus we pray… Amen.

For we also received the good news just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who comprehended it.

3. Now we who have believed enter that rest. As for the others, it is just as God has said:

“So, I swore on oath in My anger,

‘They shall never enter My rest.’”

The Living Word

12. For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. Here’s what is declared…

Commentary:

Approach the throne of Grace with confidence, to be able to receive His Rest… His Mercy and Grace today do not wait until your time of need. He wants you to have Joy in Him.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, through Jesus our Redeemer we have Joy and victory in You.  Lord today as You have said whatever we asked in Your Holy Name will be granted. So, we give thanks for our petition of healing, financial provisions, relationship in You as we abide in You and You in us.  Lord we thank You for our Visitors and let Your Divine providence be on us all.  In Your Holy Name Lord Jesus… Amen.

No Greater Love

5. “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. 6. Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. 7. But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! 8. When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.

9. “I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. 10. Commentary

So, one could say I did not asked to be born, yes you did not ask, but God created you and He did this for a purpose. He created us to be His ‘Friends’

As He said… Yes, your joy will overflow! 12. This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. 13.There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14You are my friends if you do what I command. 

We are no longer slaves, but His Friends…

15. I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me. 16. You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. 17.This is my command: Love each other.

Meditate on These Things

After 400 years of silence, God sent His Son Jesus, as ‘God among us’

Have you ever asked why there was 400 years of silence?

This period is known as the ‘Silent Years’ a time when God did not reveal anything new.

On the other hand, to us 400 years may be a long time but, to The Creator time is celestial. So much we do not know, we have the theory of Quantum Physics, we know that light moves at the speed of 300,000 kilometers per second (186,000 miles per second) and when an object moves at this speed, its mass will become infinite. So, God is infinite.

John the Baptist who announced the Lamb of God…John baptized with water, but Jesus baptized by the Holy Spirit…

Acts 11: (Peter’s account of his visit with Cornelius)

15.  As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, just as He had come upon us at the beginning. 16. The Power of His Presence… He is standing at the door (Rev 3: 20)

Revelation 3:20

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Standing on God’s promise….

Today, pray and stand back… allowing the power of God’s hand to work in your life. He can use each of us to accomplish His will. So, let it be His will and not your will. Because, His will is the way of Truth in a Life led by His glorious Providence and Love ️ for each other.

His Promise:

This should bring you great comfort, for if you have committed your life to Jesus Christ, God has promised that His angels will be with you at all times, to protect and guide you. This doesn't mean we'll never have problems, or that we'll always choose the right path in life -- but it does mean we'll never be snatched from God's loving hands. We aren't to worship the angels or make them the focus of our faith -- but we are to trust God's promise that "he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11).

The Bible doesn't say the angels pray for us -- and the reason is because One far greater than the angels already is praying for us: The Lord Jesus Christ. He alone is the divine Son of God, who even now sits in heaven interceding for us (see Hebrews 7:25). Is your faith and trust in Him -- both for today and for eternity?

Conclusion:  The Assurance of our Lord is eternal, the ‘Insurance’ by the best rated insurer will expire, and even they themselves need the ‘Real’ Assurance for that fateful day when all things will be let loose, as Jesus holds it all together but there is a day known as ‘The day of the Lord’ when all things will be shaken, it will be a day like we have never seen.

While our Lord is Faithful and loving and is Forgiving, He is also a God of ‘Consuming Fire’ as there will be an expiration of His Grace. Grace is defined as “UN-Merited” and is something that is not earned, therefore we need to know that His Fair-Warning is also to be respected as in due course of time, (which we never know when) ‘The Day of the Lord’ will come, or when we will be taken from this world.

The proof positive of His Creation is becoming more evident even through Science, now we are learning of the “God-Particle’ as the missing-link…. Is God allowing man to gain more in-sight? Are we coming closer to the full realization that all things are made by Him?

Remember the story of God telling man ‘Get your own Dirt’.  Today we face a global immigration and economic challenge, why? Man, in their quest to build a utopia here is futile as the scriptures says there will be no lasting peace here, and only when He returns will the Believers be at Peace by being with our Lord.  As the famous buy-line of an insurance company asked...” Are you in Good Hands?” right now those in Christ can say YES.

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

What do you really believe, are you ready to stake your life on it?

What can you really believe in? The blitz of the media, newspapers, television and the internet can influence some. But the small voice within maybe more influential to some.

If you know that God gave you a sound mind, and discernment; then the exposure to the blitz of opinions intended to influence you will not be of substance.

For we know in whom we have believed, and on that day, we shall see Him.

Just as Job said…

This is Job’s affirmation, in response to his wife saying, why don’t you curse god and die…

Despite the pain and suffering Job was experiencing, his response was…

Job 19: 25. But I know that my Redeemer lives,

and in the end, He will stand upon the earth.

26. Even after my skin has been destroyed,

yet in my flesh I will see God.

27. I will see Him for myself;

my eyes will behold Him, and not as a stranger.

How my heart yearns within me!

Commentary:

A famous man once said, “Although I do not want to live as Christians do, I would like to die as they do” … Obviously this is impossible as a man living without Christ cannot please God, and without Faith this person will never be in the presence of God.

Paul writing to the Galatians encapsulated the key points of Jesus’ teaching. We will take a brief look back on Paul who was a persecutor of Christians, he even witnessed the stoning death of Steven, and how Saul later known as Paul became a Vessel of Christ. The Lord chose him and made him a vessel, in fact we read that Paul was not boasting when he said he know of a man that was taken to the third heaven… this is where he received the knowledge of the Good News that he was commissioned to bring to the Gentiles.

Christ our Redeemer has set us free!

Galatians 5 (NIV)

Freedom in Christ

5: 1.  It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Mark my words! Life by the Spirit

More Than Conquerors

Prayer:           Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer, Lord Jesus our Eternal Sovereign God, as we start this new week Lord, let each day be a day of Grace, and let Your Blessings flow to us and to all that we interact with. Lord we place You on High, and we stand at the empty Cross knowing that You ascended to the Throne of Righteousness, and we are privileged to come as You intercedes for us. Lord, we pray for our Nation and we ask that Your Will be done and bring us to You so that You may heal our land, we pray for our Visitors. Lord we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and Forevermore… Amen.

Is God hearing our prayers? When was your last contact with Him? Stay in contact, because He wants to hear from you, and you will know He cares.             

We are all ‘Seekers” seekers of attention, seeker of the ‘Light’ seeking what else… fame & fortune?

Jesus said… Matthew 6:33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. In Context | Full Chapter |

Fame and Fortune come and go… Some ‘Famous’ individuals are known for their schemes, and one that is a Text-Book lesson taught in every business schools would be Carlo Ponzi.  Today all schemes that offers great and exorbitant returns are somewhat classified as a ‘Ponzi-Scheme’

Ponzi sought wealth and he received a misfortune instead, he became infamous.   Even today many ‘schemers’ are still deceiving others. But we will rely on the principle that all ‘ill-begotten fortunes will soon be lost’

For the record, Ponzi died a penniless person.

Deception is the main ingredients of all schemes…

The devil is a deceiver, and we must place things in its chronological order.  The Creation through to the fall of mankind to the lies of the devil in the garden of Eden, when we read about this in the Bible, it appeared that the devil was always present, but time wise there was a period when Adam and Eve were already in the garden, and there was a time when the devil was casted out of heaven and came to earth.   Therefore, chronologically it was after the devil landed on earth that he came to the Garden and started his deceitfulness.

So, let’s be seeker of Light, and the Light of the World is Jesus.

John 8:12

The power and the Glory of the Lord is described below…

Ezekiel 1:

25 Then there came a voice from above the vault over their heads as they stood with lowered wings. 26 Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne of lapis lazuli, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man. 27 I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.

This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

So, today the Almighty Messiah is not dressed in his sandals, He is surrounded by brilliant light.

It’s real… Imaging no care in the world, nothing to worry about? How could this be? Yes, there’s a way.

Do you believe the Flood and Noah and the ARK?

Thoughts for today…  There’s no ‘secret-sins’ beware all things hidden will be revealed… So, we must apply caution, and let the Grace of our Lord lead us by his Holy Spirit. “Be sure your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23

Narrow is the way to His Kingdom, but broad is the way to destruction.  Destruction here is defined as condemnation… Matthew 7:13

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at.

As Solomon said, all is vanity… Let’s say you just got your new car and at the supermarket lot, you find the first big ‘ding’ how do we react? With some remorse of not finding that ‘safe-zone’ to park your new car.  When it comes to cars, we are protective, and when it comes to guarding our actions, we are less apprehensive and pretty much go with the flow.  The latter is where we are to place our emphasis, as our walk with our Lord is more important that a box with four wheels. Our walk with our Lord is forever as we stay the course with decorum knowing our Lord is near with us as we journey through the shadow of death and we fear nothing as He is present.

Lord Jesus we come affirming You as our Messiah, and Lord as we humbly seek You and Your Glory is shining around us. Lord we thank You for the privilege of serving You and we ask Your divine Providence on our Visitors and us all. Lord Jesus to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

 Faith + Prayer = Power, nothing can compare to this equation. Not even   E = mc2 as this was a theory, but the Power of the Holy Spirit is always present.

Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity still stands….

 Here was a man who as a child they thought he had learning difficulties. Einstein did not speak until he was around eight years old, he disliked school and did poorly. Except for maths and physics.

Conversely, Jesus as a young boy sat in the temple and debated the elders and astonished them.

The theory of relativity was brilliant, but Jesus proved what Einstein wrote about. This is quantum physics. Jesus applied this by His ascension to heaven. Today we have the proof, yet it is not highly published that the great “I AM” Jesus went beyond the theory. He is the Thesis and He is the Living GOD.

Today, we have the proof, not the theory…

Jesus came, lived among us, died, and rose from death, and ascended to the throne of righteousness.

Yes, Jesus’s mission was to save us, not by words or theory, but he His Living Blood.

Now the “Living Blood” is much more than the Theory of Relativity, it is Super-Natural and cannot be proven in a Lab, yet His Redemptive Power of being Born again, by the Holy Spirit of the Trinity.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is somewhat incomprehensible.

But, applying the power of Faith + Prayer we have communion with God through Jesus and the Holy Spirit. This ‘Power’ through the Holy Spirit manifested to mankind, and it is experienced daily.

How can we say this… because God have given us a sound mind with Power.

2 Timothy 1:7

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline

Now to Him be the glory… Prayer: Lord Jesus because You said, we are a chosen generation, we are Holy and acceptable through Your Righteousness to come in the Holy Presence of the Father. Thank You Lord and bless our Visitors and by Your Divine Providence upon us all. Lord as You are the Light, we go in Peace trusting You and to You Lord Jesus is the power and the glory forever.  Amen.

Monday

 Could this be the year? No, the Lord did not forget us, there were 400 Years of silence, then! The magnificent Star shone down over Bethlehem. Declaring the Birth of our Savior Jesus. The next time the event will be seen from the east or the west.           

       

Tuesday:  

Preparing for a trip requires planning, packing and be prepared, are you?             

Wednesday: 

    The best place you ever visited. Do you recall it?  What is 4-Star resort? It will not even be close to what the Lord has prepared for each of us.

Thursday:  

All the wealth of earth cannot be used… nothing here, except your living Soul is of Worth. How much is it worth? God said it is priceless and fully insured.

           

Friday:

When we read the events of the Old Testament, it is live a replay of War & Peace, the biblical events of the beginning included many battles, nations against nations but there were also moments of triumphs.                

Saturday: 

Are we “Armchair” Christian? Are we just cruising along the scenic route? Walking along the promenade without seeing those in need?

Jesus said:

In fact, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!” Luke 18:25

We are not defending what is known as “Prosperity Gospel” as Luke 12:15 states… 15 And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”

Romans 11:33-36 provides the order of God regarding His Providence to us…


      33Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! 34For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, OR WHO BECAME HIS COUNSELOR35Or WHO HAS FIRST GIVEN TO HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID BACK TO HIM AGAIN36For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. For we know that… Psalm 50:10 For every beast of the forest is Mine, The cattle on a thousand hills. So, what’s our role in life? Knowing that we brought nothing… therefore, we are just a caretaker, a steward, a trustee and as such, we are given many benefits to fulfill the commission of using what He owns to grow His Kingdom.

As a Trustee for an estate, one is given charge, and the estate must be managed under a ‘Trust agreement’ the role of the Trustee is governed under a Trust indenture, which the Trustee must operate under specific covenants.

Jesus gave many examples to stewardships, as Paul outlined in Colossians 1:25. Of this church I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God.

The need for a faster Jet plane, a top luxury car and the best designer clothes and all the affluence of the world, when these are made idols, then this is when a God is offended.

To be able to gain ‘The Bags of Gold” that our Lord referred to, He said in Matthews 6: 33 Matthew 6:33

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

As a custodian of what we receive as the Favor of our Lord, we need to continue to ‘Seek’ Him, and by Seeking Him we will ‘Love’ Him and His Love will overflow to others through us.

As Stewards we are just caretakers (Custodians) until we journey on to Glory in His presence, and this point all earthly possessions that we held are left behind.

In the above Scripture, our Lord is not telling us to go and trade Gold, He is saying that we must proclaim the Gospel and bring others to Him, just as He said, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

Romans 8:37-39 (NKJV)

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Prayer: Heavenly Father we have Victory in You through Jesus our Redeemer our Sovereign Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity. Lord Jesus today we come and thank You for the Power of Your Grace as we in Faith combine Your Grace with our Faith in You knowing that You are on the Throne of Righteousness. Are we “Armchair” Christian? Are we just cruising along the scenic route? Walking along the promenade without seeing those in need?

Keep remembering the Privileges God gave us.  Stand-up and tell it to others….

 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Imitating Christ’s Humility

As many congregations gather to worship the Lord… let us come let every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Remember that the love of God that radiates to us this Sunday should be shared with many and to Imitate Christ’s Humility… and do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

The foregoing is somewhat a tall order as some will rebuff or debase your humility. Why? Kindness is often mistaken for weakness.  This is why the Gift of Salvation so ‘Freely-given’ is often overlooked and material things takes precedent.  Do not envy the wealth of others, because in your heart you should know that your ’Real-Wealth’ is the truest wealth of all, as in your heart there rings a melody, and this is the love of Christ. Knowing that in Christ all things are possible.

When we read the events of the Old Testament, it is live a replay of War & Peace, the biblical events of the beginning included many battles, nations against nations but there were also moments of triumphs.                

The Israelites fought 15 battles, deposed 31 kings and then entered Canaan.

Human history is a constant scene of warfare. Even today, we have confrontations, many are conducted in the name of religious groups, and many are enemy of Christianity.

The moment of triumph comes from the Lord. The political landscape is driven by the media, and the media is no longer a News channel, it is a platform of opinions.  Mainstream media will make an extensive effort to edit out news items that show the positiveness of Salvation. 

But as Jesus said… go to the end of the city and shake the very dust off your feet.

Luke 9: 5

New International Version
If people do not welcome you, leave their town and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.

What we have here in the Good News…With all of life’s challenges, and facing the future, once thing we know that this journey is full of potholes, winding and twisting turns. But God will make the pathway straight, He will level the mountain and smooth the roads.

Psalm 85:13

Righteousness will go before Him And shall make His footsteps our pathway.

 

Proverbs 12:28

In the way of righteousness is life, And in its pathway, there is no death.

Matthew 17:20

So, Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

So, while we seek God’s providence and prepare for a better tomorrow… while we can move mountains but without love, we are nothing…

1 Corinthians 13:2

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

No matter how well we prepare for Part-2, without His Grace we cannot achieve it.

  • Use our time wisely,
  • Pray the Prayer of Jabez, ask that your life’s mission be useful for His Glory.
  • Know that when you get there in Part-2 there will be God’s Reward.
  • Knowing that God’s reward is Jesus dwelling among all those in His Part-2.

Regardless of your success in this world (Part-1) Jesus did say “I AM not of this world”.

 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.

Jesus came to ‘Fulfill His Mission to Redeem us, His mission was to be the Lamb of God, shedding His blood so that we shall sustain the Wrath of God.  So, when you have been washed in His Blood (by receiving Him) when the great and final Passover comes, just like those protected in Egypt when the angel of death passed over, the Blood of the lamb protected them.

 Because He (Jesus) is the Great ‘I AM’.  On earth, there’s no great ‘I AM’ So enjoy your successful Part-1 and be prepared for the Best of Part-2. 

So, the Great News (not just ‘good’) is the Best-News…

All the wealth of earth cannot be used… nothing here, except your living Soul is of Worth. How much is it worth? God said it is priceless and fully insured.

Worldly wealth is useful even for today and tomorrow. It can be used as our daily needs, above this, is your soul which is priceless.  While your soul is priceless, our possession, money and our knowledge are what God provided, we can use these to lay-up treasures in heaven. Not the money, but the use of this for the Glory of the Lord, by the use of these resources; to spread his Salvation and to make Him known.

By His Hold Spirit indwelling in you, He will guide you and His angels will encamp around you.

Psalm 34: 7 New International Version
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.

The Good News: Those that are Trusting in God will have the angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them. Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. Psalm 34: 7-9

We have Victory in our Lord, because… You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world… 1 John 4: 4

    The best place you ever visited. Do you recall it?  What is a 4-Star resort? It will not even be close to what the Lord has prepared for each of us.

Travel the road... go past the bad and the ugly. Go this way today to find the good.

As we travel the road what seems to be good sometimes turn out to be the bad and ugly… in life we all have had our share of the good, bad & ugly. 

But 20/20 hindsight is of no help. Sometimes we can only hold ourselves to ending up with the bad. Why? We violated the principle of ‘Not to be unequally yoked’… the kindness mistaken as ‘weakness’ is a factor that invites infringement, that more often than not allow us to be taken advantage of.

Who are we? We are all among the good-bad & ugly. Unless we fit in the equation of what Jesus said…

Matthew 22: 37-40

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Today, a good read is Paul’s charge to Timothy.  Just as how Paul instructed Timothy while he was taking care of the Church in Ephesus, these instructions are very applicable to us even today…

1 Timothy 6: 6-21

6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. 8 But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 9 Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.

Final Charge to Timothy

19 In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.

20 Timothy… guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, 21 which some have professed and in so doing have departed from the faith. Grace be with you all.

Prayer:  Father in heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord today we put our hope in You and thank You for Your providence. By Your Grace Lord we acknowledge You as the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal, and through You we have life-everlasting by Your Grace. Each life is made up of mistakes and learning, waiting and growing, practicing patience and being persistent. By… Billy Graham (A quotation by Dr. Billy Graham)

All our lives are made up of mistakes, regardless if you are the king of a country, a kingdom or a continent. Hopefully we all will learn from our mistakes. As Dr. Graham outlined… ‘growing’, practicing and being patient with persistent, the answer will be successful, when we allow the Lord to be the Author and Finisher of our faith.

There’s no one on earth that can say ‘I have never made a mistake’ Moses did, Joshua did, and so did we.

But after all is said and done, taking all our ‘baggage’ to the cross, and allow Jesus to be the Author and Finisher, Like Moses and Joshua they finished well.

Moses in a rage struck the rock, and God was angry, yet God did let the water flow for the people. For this Moses was denied entry to the Promised Land.  

By Moses’ faith in God, God did grant Moses entry to a Higher mountain (Heaven); as we see Moses and Elijah at the Transfiguration of Jesus.

Matthew 17  (NKJV)

Jesus Transfigured on the Mount

17 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. But Jesus came and touched them and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid.” When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.

The Faithfulness of our Supreme Eternal God…

Today as we consider the love of Christ, we must acknowledge that He is the Same Yesterday, Today and Forever.

Jesus said… “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” Hebrews 13: 5

Commentary: One could say…I do not want to be a Christian, because if I do, I cannot continue to enjoy the things of this world, Let’s look at the verb ‘Enjoy’, this is a word derived from ‘rejoice’  it is an experience. Experience do not last forever, it is like the four little apples that I picked a few days ago, they are now no longer fresh and are not good for eating. So are the pleasures of the world, and many of these can leave you with guilt and remorse which is the price of sin. Not the apples, they can still be made into preserves and be enjoyed as a jelly. But the worldly life of a non-Christian leads to emptiness, therefore, without Christ the ‘enjoy’ is not real ‘Joy’… Joy is perpetual when you know Christ.

Trusting God and knowing Him leads to:

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear (loves) Him, and delivers them (you)... Oh, fear the Lord, you saints! There is no want to those who fear Him… Psalm 34: 7, 9 NKJV

The bible refers to believers as ‘Saints’ through Jesus Christ our Lord we have this privilege of receiving His Salvation by His Grace. Fortunately, no one can buy or earn His Salvation, otherwise heaven would be a place full of ‘boastful’ people. We are saved by His Grace and not of anything we do or can do.

When we have the knowledge of His Good News that He died and Rose Triumphantly and ascended to heaven where He said He went to prepare a place for you (if you know Him) what a privilege of being in touch with the Most-High at this moment. He said come to Him and He will give you rest.

The Christian life is full of Joy… Following Christ is what ‘Christianity’ means; and in Jesus we have that Victory and being filled with His Holy Spirit (His Comforter) we have the JOY.  Knowing that Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and forever… we have His assurance of Heaven to be a real place where Jesus is King of His Kingdom.

Right now, you can speak with the King of kings, you do not have to wait to get to heaven… you have access to Jesus because he said, “Come unto me”.

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come... Lord today as we dedicate this week to You Lord, lead us and guide us, bless our Visitors and grant us all Your favors.  Lord we pray for all Your servants engaged in Your mission fields to be equipped as we look to You knowing that all our needs are provided by Your Grace. We pray in your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Could this be the year? No, the Lord did not forget us, there were 400 Years of silence, then! The magnificent Star shone down over Bethlehem declaring the birth of our Savior, Jesus.  The next time the event will be seen from the east or the west.

The Silent years when Part One (the Old Testament) ended and the breaking of the news of the birth Jesus, the Messiah, the period of 400 years may. Or be so silent as we think.

Between the time of Malachi and the coming of the Messiah, several prophecies were fulfilled, including the 2,300 days of desecration between 171 and 165 B.C. (Daniel 8:14), but neither the fulfilled prophecies nor the 400 years the nation was given to study Scripture, to seek God (Psalm 43-44) and to prepare for the coming Messiah, was put to good use. In fact, those years blinded and deafened the nation to the point where most of the Jews could not even consider the concept of a humble Messiah (Zechariah 9:9Isaiah 6:10John 12:40).

Isaiah in earlier time about 700 years wrote about the coming Messiah, Isaiah 53 provided a vivid forecast of Christ as the Lamb of God. As we draw near to Easter which is the second most important event I human history. Easter is all about the Crucifixion and Resurrection of our Savior Jesus- “The Christ” the anointed One.

Lord Jesus You said my pathway would be straighten and the mountain will be leveled, and Lord I thank You as You have done so.

           Let us stop �� for a moment and think of who could you share some Joy with? Just do it…

• JOY: Joy is mentioned 244 times in the Bible, considering the announcement of our Savior’s Birth… Luke 2:10

                  As the first week of 2020 draws to an end, let this weekend be one of fifty-two full of Joy of the Lord, as the angel said… Peace and Joy to the world…

The Message of Peace has not been heard by many.  You may say ‘how could this be’? they have never read the Bible or do not have TV or Radio, or even Newspapers, these would be the natives in a remote jungle. 

But there’s no excuse for our politicians and leaders of government that constantly create strife and confrontation for political gain at the expense of the nation.

When the agenda is self-serving without any concerns for the real issues of: Abortion, human trafficking, pedophile, hunger, homelessness, illegal drugs and legal prescription abuses, plus Medicare fraud and waste. In Unisom, the political leaders should address these critical subjects, but tearing down the economy, displacing jobs, all in the name of gaining political edge, this is in fact an action just as severe as the unattended issues affecting our society. So, we add ‘Political-turmoil’ to the list of critical issues’.

A House divided against itself will not stand. The leaders of totalitarian countries that oppress their citizens, suppress Christians and kill innocent lives. Without naming any here, one can guess the name of the most populous nation, this country enforces forced abortions, close churches, restricts freedom of speech and has no opposition.  It is a dictatorship ran under a ‘sham’ election electing only the one candidate that installed himself as a virtual emperor for life.

As a Marxist member of a government with a democratic parliament once told me...” We will make this county a Marxist society, so I asked how? He replied... “democracy is vulnerable” this individual then associated himself with one of the most well-known dictators in the Caribbean. The end result, this Marxist eventually failed as the strong abiding Grace of the Lord prevail for the island nation.

With all the above said… There’s still hope, as nations with the deep faith in God will prevail. Leaders come and go but let us declare that 2020 will be a year of victory in Christ.

So, let’s set aside the political divide of the country, and for those that continue to deny Christ and to oppose the agenda of the Lord, let them be aware…

 This is the result of the ongoing political battle over the Border wall that the President promised the nation. So, today the President became ‘The Man of the Hour’ by standing firm on his demand for the funding of the Wall.

            Lord as we began this New Year by wishing everyone a Happy New Year… Lord let the JOY of Christmas be instilled in us as Joy will eclipse the momentarily cycle of happiness.

A topic of today, guard against Identity theft that steals our most prized possessions, how secure are you? You are unique, a masterpiece made in the image of the Most High, God our Creator.

Good News: With God your Identity can never be stolen, it is secure forever.

Commentary: Many of us may have experienced ‘Fraudulent-charges’ made on a credit card.  After dining at a restaurant, I checked my account and found that I was billed for $1,350 worth of Fireworks. Obviously, lunch was only $35. It took a few hours to get this removed and the card had to be replaced by the card company.  Today the Identity-theft is far more damaging, as this can do much more than charging to you purchases that you did not make.  The use of your ID is far more than just the charges, it is a violation of your personal rights.

In Thessalonians the apostle Paul wrote…

That no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. 1 Thessalonians 4:5-7 (in Context) 

See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.  1 Thessalonians 5:14-16 (in Context) 

2 Thessalonians 2:3

Let no one deceives you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition.

Thoughts for the Day: HAPPY NEW YEAR 2020 to all our readers, we wish you all a year full of our Lord’s blessings.

 Remember all that ‘glitter’ is not gold… and what industry leaders publish most times are false and misleading.

TEXT: 1 John 4:4  (NIV)

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Commentary:  The term ‘Low-Fat’, ‘low salt’ etc., are the new labelling for preserved food items. In a world bombarded by Television, Internet and billboards all promoting products that are deceitfully prepared and packaged. It is no wonder that ‘Healthcare’ is the main topic around the world.

Right after the Christmas and New Year we will see the media blitz of the ‘Weight Loss’ programs, these programs are just as deceitful as the causes of the problem.  No we are not starting the year on a negative stance, we are just reminding ourselves that anything in excess can be harmful and moderation is the watchword…

It is almost humorous when the largest fast-food giant sent out a message to their employees telling them not to eat the food as it causes obesity… It is like the pharmaceutical companies that spend 30 seconds advertising the medicine and 2 minutes telling us about the side-effects and how it could kill you.

The Word of God contains no deceit, the message is clear, and our Lord Jesus did speak in Parables, but there is a reason as our Lord used many metaphors to relate to us His messages.  The age-old saying ‘actions speak louder than words’… Jesus spoke about His Crucifixion, His Resurrection and His Ascension to His Father, and He did all three.

The Year is now 2,020 after the Birth of our Lord Jesus…   His Birth is the most factual event as we enter this New Year many will write the date on their checks entering the year 2020 in their correspondence and not even think of why it is the year 2020.  

While society is moving to erase Jesus from public prayers, the Cross from public places, maybe they need to change the year to what?  Guess what? all those that are seeking the removal of Jesus and the Cross form our schools, public buildings and even attempting to regulate where the Cross may be erected, they will get their own ‘Markers’ a tombstone that should read… herein lies a scoffer that will be told by Jesus; ‘Depart from me, I never knew you”, while we forgive them, may they come to know Christ that they may know real Victory.

HAPPY NEW YEAR... Let us take a Positive stance and say Praise You Lord Jesus for Your Faithfulness and Your Love for us as we look to that day when we shall see You Lord Jesus as You are. What a day that will be!

EVENING:

You can’t ‘Test-Drive’ being a Christian… to see if it works for you!

Ephesians 1: 10, 2:18, 3: 6, 10:12

2: 18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. The common unified message is that We are Redeemed and are made Heirs in Jesus our Lord.

As we proceed to a new year, let us adopt the following practice and let 2020 be a year of JOY.

1) To be in Fellowship with others,

2) Bringing the Good News to many,

3) Reaching out to others; we are privileged to serve our eternal sovereign God, and HE is faithful, and we can count on Him knowing that he is our Redeemer.

It’s time for renewal… Unfortunately, none of us knows the future. In real life… when we purchase a new car with financing, we must produce ‘Proof of Insurance’  why? because we cannot drive it off the lot as the risk is too great that we may suffer an accident.

We tend to place the most important thing that we will ever own on a lesser value, this is our Soul, our actual being, that will live on forever. We place this at risk by not having the Assurance of the Redemption by our Lord that assures Life-Everlasting in a Place of Splendor.

No appointment necessary, come as you are… make the most important move you will ever make in your life… take the step of Faith now. Just say search me O God…

Psalm 139: Search me, God, and know my heart; 
    test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
    and lead me in the way everlasting.

Ephesians 3: 20-21

20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Redeemer and our Eternal God in One of Your Holy Trinity, we are privileged to be called Children of God through Faith.  Lord Jesus in You we trust and in You we are Redeemed by Your Crucifixion and Your Divine Resurrection.
