DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Thursday:  September 19, 2019

Will you share the Gifts & Prosperity with other? You should, you will get more…

Being a good-Steward doesn’t mean that you must to be stingy, maybe frugal. But as the Bible said about… Seeing your brother in need.

Deuteronomy 15:11 There will always be poor people in the land. ...

... I am commanding you to share freely with the poor and with other Israelites in need. ...
I command you, ‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to (others in need)

You are ‘Rich’ and well provided for…Are you aware of this? Find out…read more…

Romans 9:23

And He did so to make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory. In Context | Full Chapter |

Are you a ‘Vessel of Mercy”? if so, then His ‘Riches’ were prepared beforehand for you.

The Faithfulness of the Lord:

Philippians 4:19

And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

In Context | Full Chapter

This verse flows with the Doxology of Romans 11:

Romans 11:35

Or who has first given to Him that it might be paid back to him again?

In Context | Full Chapter |

Romans 11:36

For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.

In Context | Full Chapter

You see, riches here on earth is just temporary, ‘Real Riches’ is what Jesus gave us, He made us a ‘Joint-Heir’ in His Kingdom, a Kingdom not made by human hands and will never be shaken.

What is the meaning of the saying of ‘Who has first given that it might be paid back to Him again’?

While we are so journeying to Him His riches entrusted in our hands are as provided by Him according to His riches in Glory, and as we all know… The cattle on a thousand hills are His.

You see… we are just a custodian, and when you are made His custodian, we must be a good steward.  Example of who was a bad steward, this was Judas, ironically, the Lord allowed him to be the treasurer as he carried the bag of money the disciples needed to buy food, etc.

We all know the ending of Judas...

Verse 36 above clearly stated that ‘from Him and through Him and to Him are all things, and to him MUST be the Glory Forever…

Commentary:

We will be entrusted with the Money-Bag, but we must be a good steward, and once we are; the Riches will be entrusted to you.

Romans 11:33 [Full Chapter]

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!

So, His ‘Riches’ go far beyond the ‘things’, it comes with ‘Wisdom & Knowledge, and let no one be disillusioned, God’s unsearchable judgements and unfathomable Grace are from Him.

Remember the Father trusted us, so much that He gave us ‘Free-Will’ but there is a boundary set, and this boundary is governed by…

Romans 9:23

And He did so to make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory.

Nothing lasts forever, even bad leaders, and the good ones too… Retirement is a resignation, so do not resign continue to serve…

Whom do you serve? Are you serving as a Steward, a Trustee, a beneficiary or a benefactor? We all serve in these as each of us are a beneficiary.  But being a beneficiary, we must also be a benefactor as a faithful steward fulfilling the role as trustee to be able to share the Gift that Christ endowed to us all.

No one likes to be a ‘charitable-case’ but we are mere humans, and Jesus said…”Without Me you can do NOTHING” therefore in the sight of the Lord it is by His mercy that we can receive clemency, because he is lenient not in just Words, but by His Sacrifice at Calvary that his Blood was shed for us fulfilling His Redemption.

Conclusion:

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Prayer: Father in Heaven by the Grace of our Lord Jesus we come in Your Holy Presence.  Lord Jesus we thank You for presenting us to the father as You Jesus is our Mediator and by your Righteousness we are redeemed by Your Grace. Lord we thank You for Your Divine Redemption  as we thank You for our Visitors, and we ask Your blessing on each as we go in faith spreading the fragrance of Your love and in You we have victory. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Wednesday: September 18,2019.

He wants you to have the ‘Best’ not second best… He has provided the Best, just Ask!

There are multiple criteria that governs how themLord will release His best. They are earned by working overtime, nor are they given because you are entitled to it.

The best is granted when we are capable of handling it.

When God inspired the writing of the 23rd Psalms, as we read it below…

A Psalm of David.

The LORD is my shepherd;

I shall not want.

2. He makes me lie down in green pastures;

He leads me beside quiet waters.

3. He restores my soul;

He guides me in the paths of righteousness

for the sake of His name.

4. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil,

for You are with me;

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5. You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil;

my cup overflows.

6. Surely goodness and mercy will follow me

all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the house of the LORD

forever.

No, the above is not a utopia, it is not falling down the rabbit hole, it is a statement of facts.

Written by King David… but the Psalms were written to Praise the Great King, The coming Messiah… Jesus.

Imagine a King that said…”you are no longer a servant but my friend”

The fiction by Mark Twain… The Prince and the Pauper tells of two boys that switched identities with the Prince growing up as a Pauper and the beggar growing us as the Prince. The time came when the Prince was to be crowned, the real prince showed up, but he was unable to prove that he was the real prince. The Sham-Prince did help him to prove that the ‘Pauper’ was the real Prince as they had switched roles.  The real Prince was restored to the monarchy with the assistance of the sham-Prince, who was later granted a position in the royal household.

The real King that said, ‘You are no longer a servant but a Friend’ He is Jesus the King of kings. Jesus came from His place of Splendor, a place He called Paradise. He came to His own and His own did not receive Him.

TEXT: John 1:11

He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. In Context | Full Chapter

The condescension of Christ

“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9

In the garden Jesus could have used his power to call twelve legions of angels to his rescue (Matthew 26:53), but instead he employed it to heal the ear of one of his enemies (Luke 22:51). On the cross he could have used his power to save himself, but instead he continued to employ it to save others—his enemies, including us (Romans 5:10).

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus it is with humility we acknowledge Your Sacrifice knowing that You art the Great Jehovah-Jireh…  Our Messiah and God in One of our Father in Your Holy Trinity.

Lord today we can come to You boldly as You gave us this privilege. Lord we acknowledge that You Ascended to the Throne of Righteousness sitting at the Right Hand of our Father Creator. Lord bless this day as Lord; let the message be clear and let many receive Your Salvation for Your Glory. Lord we thank You for the many Visitors,  and we ask Your blessings upon each one as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

God forgives, not because of our intent, He forgives when we repent and come to Him

Know this…  You are an ambassador of a kingdom mightier than any country, start now…

Not only are you a representative of the Almighty, He has empowered you, and equipped you with the most advanced weapons.

And, we are to know this… that while we are engaged by HIM, in His Service, we are on His great Dance Floor, enjoying JOY and Peace that no one can give you.

Greater is HE in us than anyone.  We are, and we do this in Meekness, and  Humbleness knowing that we know the answers as we end in Victory in Christ.

Remember… it’s like watching the Game, and your team is down three point with two minutes to go, don’t get too concerned because you already know that your team did score the winning goals. So be content, be at peace and know that comes what may, noting can deter us.  His Holy Spirit is with you and us all…  Praise God in the Name of Jesus our Lord and Savior.

Our God is Greater, Stronger and He is Omniscient, Omnipotent and no one like HIM.

A famous man once said, “Although I do not want to live as Christians do, I would like to die as they do”  Obviously this is impossible as a man living without Christ cannot please God, and without Faith this person will never be in the  presence of God.

Paul writing to the Galatians encapsulated the key points of Jesus’ teaching. We will take a brief look back on Paul who was a persecutor of Christians, he even witnessed the stoning death of Steven, and how Saul later known as Paul became a Vessel of Christ. The  Lord chose him and made him a vessel, in fact we read that Paul was not boasting when he said he know of a man that was taken to the third heaven… this is where he received the knowledge of the Good News that he was commissioned to bring to the Gentiles.

Paul was a privileged individual, yet he was imprisoned, suffered at the hands of ‘scoffers’ but he prevailed and was ‘refined by fire’ and became 24 Karat Gold to boldly proclaim Christ Jesus as His Lord.

The most important appointment of the day is: Coming to our Lord,  today we are focused at ‘Freedom’  as we read below… Christ our Redeemer has set us free!

Galatians 5 (NIV)

Freedom in Christ

5: 1.  It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

His Promise:

Hebrews 7:25
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

His Faithfulness:

Romans 8: 28-35

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus our Sovereign Eternal God in the Holy Trinity, Lord as You are on the Throne of Righteousness interceding for us Lord, we come and seek you and we bring all things to you Your as You said come and You will give us rest.  Lord today we thank You for the privilege of serving You for Your Glory.  We thank You for our many Visitors and we ask Your divine Blessing on each and Your Favors to be released to those that call on Your Name Lord. We pray this is Your Hold Name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Devotional for Monday: September 16, 2019

God loves us not because of our ignorance, but because He created us in His Likeness…

None of us will ever consider our self to be ignorant, we all consider ourselves to be wise.

God will finish what He has started, and in you His Plan, He will complete…

God will only start goodness in our lives… and the good that He has sown in us He will nurture and bring it to maturity. One may wonder what is that ‘Goodness’ is it always for His own Glory?

Some examples of whom God chose to be blessed with His ‘Goodness’ were not benevolently declared, as in the case of Joseph, whom his brothers sold, and subsequently saved them, or Moses, who God chose to serve the nation of Israel. We see that Job who lived a rich life, suffered the loss of his fortune and health, but; God restored it all and more. In the case of Boaz, who married Ruth and played a part in the lineage of Jesus, all the ‘Goodness’ in these men were guided by the Lord.

So, today as Scripture said…  Philippians 1:6

being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; In Context

History is still been written, what you do today or yet to be done, could be part of tomorrow’s history. You may say that… ‘I play such an insignificant role in the world’ and as such, you may say you cannot make history. An incident like just speaking to your neighbor over the fence, could impact him or her, who I turn tell other of Christ, and your message continues on and reach a hundred and keep growing. This is highly possible, as the beauty of mathematics enlarges the outreach exponentially., if you tell 10 people about Christ in one Month and those ten that heard the message spread it to another 10 at the end of  the 10th month you would have reached 10,240 people in total.

So, don’t procrastinate and start spreading the Joy of the Lord. Layup treasure I heaven…

Matthew 6:19

23 “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. 24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Jesus Christ Has Overcome the World

25 “These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.

Action-Coming to our Lord:

To know Christ:  Repent (Turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and follow Him in obedience as your Lord and Savior.

1 John 2:1 New King James Version (NKJV)

2 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. New King James Version (NKJV)

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come and Lord Jesus as our Advocate and through You Lord Jesus we are able to be presented to the Father.  Father we thank You for Your Son Jesus and Lord Jesus we thank You for hearing our prayers. Lord we bring You our Visitors and we seek Your Divine blessings on us all. We pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Saturday:       Be  alert… Seek the light, be sure it’s not an oncoming train, but the exit to splendor.

Sunday:         God promised us to never have a dull moment in His Presence… find out today…

  ******

Thoughts for the week:

Know the difference of ‘Telling’ versus ‘Teaching’

Know the difference of ‘Loving’ versus ‘Sympathy’

Know the difference of Forgiveness versus a Ransom-paid.

Know why God gave His Forgiveness and when we say Jesus Paid It ALL, Jesus ‘Absorbed’  the Wrath of God, Our ‘debt’ is to God the Father and Jesus our Redeemer, because Jesus took our place on the Cross and died in our place, so that we may have Life-Everlasting in the presence of God.

Why did God ‘Forgive’ because when Adam sinned… we all are marked by Adam’s disobedience to God’s command. But God wanted us to be ‘Restored’. Through Jesus, the Wrath of God was removed from us by Jesus Himself drinking of the Cup of God’s Wrath.

DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Keep Calm… He is Risen!  Because He lives, so shall all in Christ.

John 14:19

Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

Mark 15:39

And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.

When Jesus died on the cross, even those who crucified Him and mocked Him, finally declared… Truly this man was the Son of God. The death and Resurrection of Jesus was not ‘staged’. This event was prophesied over 700 years before Jesus came.

Isaiah 53:5

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Commentary: Jesus told His disciples how He would be arrested, tried, tortured and crucified and that he would ‘Rise from the dead’ three days after.  All of these events were fulfilled.

The next ‘Big-event’ that Jesus spoke about is yet to be fulfilled, but as we say…remain-calm. Because His Word will never fail, Jesus said…

Matthew 26:64

Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless, I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Mark 13:26

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

Mark 14:62

And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

All of what we see, hear and witness in our daily lives, the ‘noise’ of politics, cares of the world, coping with issues, these events could lead us to say, where are You Lord? But we all know He is right here and His physical return will occur.

Because the daily events over shadow the promise of the Lord, we may not be able to imagine that His statement of… “And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory”. We may say this event is reserved for another time, and it is going to take a major catastrophic event for Jesus to get the attention of the people on earth.

We cannot imagine the scope of what it will take to accomplish what Jesus spoke about. But He is God, and just as His Father spoke, and He created, the same process will take place. Only this time, rather than constructing, it will be a de-constructing mode.

As Jesus spoke of gathering His elect from the four-winds….

Matthew 24:31

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four-winds, from one end of heaven to the other. In Context

Mark 13:27

And then shall he send his angels and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

So, today… rather than re-arranging the deck-chairs on the Titanic, seek out a lifeboat, we all know that there weren’t enough lifeboats on board the Titanic, and earth as the next Titanic doesn’t have a lifeboat. But, Jesus came, and He revealed the way to safety…

John 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the waythe truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

1 Thessalonians 4:17

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with thein the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so, shall we ever be with the Lord.

2 Peter 3:8

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

2 Peter 3:10

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Many say that the planet will remain, but what Peter described is what we adhere to, knowing than in the heavenly realms, it will not be business as usual. Because it will be a new creation…

Isaiah 65:17

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Conclusion:

Revelation 21:1

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Praise the Lord we shall be in a Sanctified place of splendor and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, Lord of Hosts, as we acknowledge Your Covenant of Grace knowing that Your Word will be fulfilled, and we shall be gathered in Your Holy Presence.  Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we go in faith knowing that all things work together for Good as we love You Lord. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Saturday:  September 14, 2019

Be alert… Seek the light, be sure it’s not an oncoming train, but the exit to splendor.

Why you cannot blend into the crowd when you are a Child of God?

The ‘Halo’ effect, this is when a person stands out, usually by… characteristics that included such things as leadership, physical appearance, intelligence, loyalty, and dependability.

Why are you special? He made us a unique group because He has set us aside…  We are wrapped in cotton, protected and guided…

Jesus spoke of the Lost Pearl… and in more than one way He was expressing His own experience…

Jesus gave many example of those that went astray and returned, such as the Prodigal son, and the story of the lost sheep.

We can adopt these examples to ourselves and in many way,  Jesus was expressing His own joy of finding us, as today we acknowledge Him and know that His Grace abounds in our life...  as God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Romans 5: 8 NKJV

Not only did Jesus redeemed us by His Divine Resurrection, He made us Joint-Heirs…

TEXT

Romans 8:16-18 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

1 Peter 2:8-10 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

and, “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”;

For they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this doom they were also appointed.

Through the Love and Divine Grace of our Lord Jesus He took us out of the trash-heap and set us apart…

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Christ Our Advocate

2 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

Hebrews 4:15-16 English Standard Version (ESV)

15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

1 John 5:3-4 English Standard Version (ESV)

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. 4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

English Standard Version (ESV)

Pray this prayer of Commitment: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray Lord Jesus… Amen.

Devotional for Friday: September 13, 2019

Share the gift that leads to a wonderful life, share the Gospel…

Each year the classic movie… ‘It’s a Wonderful life’ is shown at Christmas season. It is a portrayal of life. It's a Wonderful Life (1946) ... - Turner Classic Movies

www.tcm.com/tcmdb/title/79566/It-s-a-Wonderful-Life/full-synopsis.html

FULL SYNOPSIS. To prepare him for his task, Clarence (the angel assigned to help George Bailey) is shown George's life: As a child, George stops his younger brother Harry from drowning in an icy pond, then catches a bad cold and loses his hearing in one ear. Weeks later, George goes back to work at his after school job in Mr. Gower's drugstore and prevents Gower from dispensing a lethal poison in error...

We all are like George Bailey… we all need a Clarence to reveal the many good things that occurred in life because of what you did. It could be just a passing response to someone’s asking directions. In life you may get a response to asking where is the ramp to the Freeway? and it could be…”stay in the right lane and it is right there”, or, “I suggest you read the signs and follow the instruction”

Know the difference of ‘Telling’ versus ‘Teaching’

Which of the above answer would you consider to be helpful? To me the latter, as it is a lesson to finding your way on your own. This piece of brash advice led me to the ability of driving across the USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and most of the continents.

By giving the best advise of all, it can be life-changing… This is sharing the Gospel.  What is the Gospel?  It is the record of Jesus' life and teaching in the first four books of the New Testament.

The privilege of having the Gospel is often overlooked… Why? Because of Jesus, and His abiding Grace.

It’s all Paid for, no need to bring wallet, cards or money to receive It…

Because it is the ‘Perfect-Will’ of God… and His Will is far above our comprehension.

Come and buy without money… “If all it took was money anyone could do it”

For He Chose us in Him before the Creation of the World to be Holy and blameless in His Sight… So, you are special.

Text:    1 Peter 2:9

New International Version (NIV)

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Romans 12:2

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

None Righteous, but through Jesus’ Righteous, we were made Righteous…

Romans 3:9

No One Is Righteous] What shall we conclude then? Do we have any advantage? Not at all! For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin. In |

Romans 3:21

Righteousness Through Faith] But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. In Context

Romans 5:19  His Transformation…

For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous. In Context

Therefore, by Jesus’ Righteousness, you are made Righteous through the cleansing of your sins by His Redeeming-Blood.

His Faithfulness- His Graciousness:

We can count on our Lord’s graciousness, and He said He will never leave us nor forsake us.  Finally, we want to remind everyone that it is not Faith that saves us, it is GRACE, and only by His Grace we are saved through Faith in our Lord Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8

Amplified Bible (AMP)

For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;

To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.

Praise the Lord for His Graciousness, that we can in Faith Love Him and be made a Joint-Heir with Him.

Prayer: Lord Jesus thank You for Your Graciousness and by Faith we can come and by Your Redeeming Blood, Your Holy Spirit is upon us. Lord we thank You for our Visitors and we ask Your Divine blessing on us all. To You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen

Devotional for Thursday September 12, 2019

Share the joy by rejoicing, it will always outlast happiness. Joy is Rejoicing in the Lord.

Spiritual growth is achieved in fellowship and daily walking with the Lord.

Growing bean sprouts is done by placing beans under cover where they remain in total darkness,

They sprout rapidly it cannot grow to maturity. Placing the same beans into the ground, they will grow into a tree and produce many more pods of beans.

So, there’s no Short cut to spiritual maturity, unless you had the Damascus road experience of Saul when he was struck down. In a flash Saul was blinded and underwent a spiritual change. Paul’s Transformation was Life-changing; and any one can have the same when the Lord chooses that Person.

So, don’t be a ‘Bean sprout’ be a tree bearing fruits, bloom and reflect the beauty of the Good News of hope in Christ

Don’t be in the dark like the sprout, be in the Light as darkness is the absence of light. Just as evil is the absence of God.

Jesus is the Light of the World and His Kingdom - Forever

Text:                John 1 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The Deity of Jesus Christ

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Commentary:

One of the first day of creation… God said…”Let there be light and there was Light” but He did not yet created the Sun, there was a diffusion of Light in a Gaseous form, but God declared let there be Light and then He said it was Good…

If the Sun was not yet created what was the source of this Light?  We must first look at John 1. In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Now we see the Light that God Declared... ”Let there be Light” This will be revealed as we go to chapter 9…There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Colossians 1: The Incomparable Christ

13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

As we focus on the Lord’s Unconditional love, this is the governing factor…

Romans 11:36

For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.

John 4:14

but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” In Context

Devotional for Wednesday: September 11, 2019

Join the winning team… Remember the white Cliffs of Dover… there’s always tomorrow…

9-11 is a day that America will never forget. At this time, we will mention that day without re-hatching the agony of what took place.

We want to focus on the positive, reflecting on the brave young men that flew bombing missions over Germany.  And remembering how the sight of the White-Cliffs of Dover meant homeward bound. The Lord has blessed this nation that did what was needed to end the tyranny and stop the evil empires.

The Cross is the timeless White Cliffs of Dover… It is where safety is found, and our Lord Jesus is standing to welcome His followers to His place of splendor. So, today we are fearless just like those flying Ace that flew their missions and liberated Europe and we shall also conquer in His Name.

Colossian 2: 15 New International Version
And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

The Lord will make level the mountain, and the winding roads will be straightened…

Isaiah 40:4

Every valley shall be exalted And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough places smooth; In Context |

Are you facing a mountain today?

Whatever it maybe, the faithfulness of the Lord is more than an assurance. His word is true, and when we delight ourselves in Him, He will grant us the desires of our hearts.

You may say, “I have prayed and made my requests, and still I have not received my request”

Sometimes our requests are not provided, why?...

James 4:3 New International Version (NIV)

When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

So, Faith + Motives x God’s Grace = Fulfilments.

Our Lord is Omniscient and Ever-Present, and nothing that we think, do or wish for will be granted when the intent is not for good.

The key word is… ‘Delight’

2 Corinthians 9:8

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. In Context | Full Chapter |

So, delight yourself in the Lord… Psalm 37:4

Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. In Context

Luke 3:5

Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight and the rough ways smooth.

Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’ In Context | Full Chapter |

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come.  Lord as we gather, we are assured that You Lord Jesus is in our midst and You are our Mediator to the Father.  Lord we thank You for Your Divine Grace and we thank you Lord for the privilege of serving You and for our many Visitors. Lord bless each of our Visitors as we Praise You and give You the Glory, we thank You Lord that whoever calls on Your name shall be saved.                                       Devotional for Tuesday September 10, 2019

Be aware of the slow leak, be conscious of what depresses you, confer with Jesus…

Remember when you were a child running down the street as fast as you could because there was a race to be win, and you we’re about to win and then the most horrible thing happened, you tripped and fell. The tears came falling and mom came running to you and cleaned up the wound and bandage you up. Then the smile returned.

Your parents understood a little scrap, and infection could set in.

In the spirit the rules are the same. Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough.

When you lie for instance to others and to yourself, it compromises your heart (spirit). At first you may say, it was nothing but infection in your heart has begun.

Jesus is wanting to walk this life out with you.  With him there is joy unspeakable and full of glory.

Prayer: Jesus it was for our freedom that you set us free, thank You that You stand with us so we will not be subject to the yoke of slavery again. You have called us as kings and priest to be your ambassadors. No longer do you call us slaves but friends. Bless our Visitors, as we praise You in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus Amen.

Monday:      Turn the Power on and watch the Glory of God glows

God’s Power comes through His Holy Spirit. Here what to Tell and shout it out from the mountain tops…

Philippians 2 New International Version (NIV)

Imitating Christ’s Humility

2 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in very nature[a] God,

    did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;

7 rather, he made himself nothing

by taking the very nature[b] of a servant,

    being made in human likeness.

8 And being found in appearance as a man,

he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—

        even death on a cross!

9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place

and gave him the name that is above every name,

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,

in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,

to the glory of God, the Father. (End of Text)

Prayer:

Father we come in Jesus our Redeemer and our Eternal Sovereign God in One of Your Holy Trinity. Lord Jesus thank You for coming and thank You for Your Divine Redemption; Lord today as we acknowledge You before all knowing that You are seated on the Throne of Righteous, we recognize Your Power of Your Divine Resurrection and Your Majestic Glory as King of kings and Lord of lords and You are Sovereign Lord Jesus. As said in the scriptures that you were there from the beginning of it all and You are the Great “I AM”, Lord we Pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus and to You is the power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Topics for Week of September 2nd,  Thru September 8th, 2019

Monday:
Looking ahead at this new week full of opportunities.
Don’t miss out, use it

Tuesday:
What have we accomplished this week? Can we do what we postponed, reach out to that person and say… “God loves you and so do I”

Wednesday:
Spending the future, yes, all governments are doing this. Why? Every budget is full of waste, and mismanagement.

Thursday:
Prayer is better than the best medicine,
it is a cure for health, mind and soul. Nothing else can do this.

Friday:

“Your new Visa is valid for 10 years” but your ultimate Visa is perpetual with no expiration, get it now.

Saturday:

Focus on the Provider, not what is provided… give thanks before unwrapping, then appreciate the gift…

Jesus is the giver of Life

Sunday:
The Lord’s day… Looking ahead... the new week is full of opportunities,
use it and lead someone to the Kingdom. Jesus is calling.

*******

Things to consider…

For Pastors and leaders…. two things to ponder… In our prayers, Jesus is always present, so we always end our prayers by telling Him… “In you Name we pray”. Not the third-party inference of: “in Jesus name we pray.

Secondly…? If we do not do the alter call, we must end with the Lord’s Supper. If we don’t. How would a pastor feel if someone in the audience wanted to come to Christ, but the service ended and while that person who wanted to accept the Lord was walking to his car he was hit and died? This happened when Dwight Moody one night did not do the alter call and it was the night of the great Chicago fire and many perished. He never ended another sermon without the alter call.

Looking ahead at this new week full of opportunities. Don’t miss out, use it

The opportunities are:

Who needs Prayer?

Is there someone that is undergoing treatment?

Someone that may need financial help.

Someone looking for a Job and some families that are in needs.

Bringing the needs of your friends or colleagues to the Lord, you gift may not be a physical gift. But, the ‘Gift’ of the Lord’s providence, His healing power and His abundant life will be far greater than anything you could give that person.

Ephesians 3:20 (NASB)

20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,

Jesus said He came that we would have life and have it more abundantly…

Text: Revelation 3:20

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and will dine with him, and he with Me.  Revelation 3:19-21

Commentary:

Behold my Jesus stands at the door and knock. While He can enter without opening the door, but He is calling me to receive Him, and His mission is to bring me Joy, as he said as I stand at the door and know and if I answers,

He will come in and dine with me.  What a privilege this would be to sit at a table set by my Lord and to be just like when He sat at dinner with the disciples.

Just think how Jesus would bring me great news of what he has prepared for me and to give me insight of what to come? I can imagine that the table setting would be with delicacies of fruits, nectars, fishes, meat and bread.  I can imagine how He would pray over the setting and thank His Father and then feast with me as He prepared only the best.

On the day of the Last-Supper….

May we be reminded that the absence of Lamb being served, this was because at the table was the ‘Unblemished Lamb of God… Jesus as the Lamb of God.

His Priceless Gift is something we cannot purchase, earn it, inherit it or own it because we ‘deserve’ it.

This is the Grace of God…

Ephesians 2:8-9(NKJV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Can you imagine that when you arrive in Heaven you meet this fellow who said…’Let me tell you how I got here’ I made it on my own, because I am the greatest.    Mohammed Ali once said:” I am the Greatest” but remembering that we are mere humans, created in the Likeness of God… but we are born with a blemish.  This blemish is ‘sin’ as by one made sin entered into the world, and by One Redeemer we are saved.

Therefore, being redeemed by the Blood…

The Provider is Jesus, and it is by Him and Through Him that His Unique Gift can be given. There’s no other name that one can be saved.

Many may say…” Why do I have to be Saved?” Because you were born with a ‘Soul’ and your Soul will live forever, and the second question; so? What’s the problem here? As a descendant of Adam, you and all were born with an inherent blemish, this is Sin…

So, you may ask… I did not ask to be born, and now I am told that I am a sinner, even though I have lived a clean life and am a law-abiding citizen?

Yes, you are marked with the scars or sin. But God in His mercies, sent His Son Jesus to redeem you and though His sacrifice on the cross, your sin are washed away when you come to Him and received His Redemption.

When you come and ask to be saved, you are Redeemed from condemnation and are now saved by His Grace.

Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.

Principle: For there is One GOD and One Mediator between God and Man, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all… 1 Timothy 2: 5-6 NKJ

Conclusion: Whom God chooses; He will see that His (God’s) plan is carried out through the one He chooses. He chose, Abraham, Isaac & Jacob, and He may have chosen you too. For certain He knows you by name, even before you were born.  So, as we aim for Success to achieve that utopia, let us seek Fulfillment through our Lord Jesus. Because He said Seek Him First and His Righteousness…

His Promise / His Faithfulness:

Matthew 6:33 (AMP)

33 But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Ephesians 1:7 (AMP)

In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches and the generosity of His gracious favor.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come. Lord Jesus we Thank You for choosing us and remembering us that You came and Redeemed us. Lord Your statement that You are not of this world we acknowledge as on that day the trumpet will sound and the Heavens will open with Your majestic return, seen from the east to the west.  Lord Your Divine Grace we accept, and we look to that day when we shall see You as You are.  Lord. Bless our Visitors and grant Your favors to all, as we pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Friday: September 6th, 2019

“Your new Visa is valid for 10 years” but your ultimate Visa is perpetual with no expiration, get it now.

Visiting some countries, they will issue you a Visa for up to 10 Years, and right here at your country of origin you will need no Visa, but you will live for maybe 90 or more years. So, where’s your permanent place of abode?

Jesus said…. He went to prepare a place for you and where He is you will be also. Also, the place that Jesus will provide is an eternal Home, no Visa needed, no aging, no move-up or move down, just the ultimate place of Splendor and beauty.

Imagine a city where the streets are paved with Gold? A place where there will be no automobile fumes, no noisy air-Conditioners, no congested street and no waiting in lines.

No hospitals and no police.

And the best part of being in this city, you never have to leave…

Revelation 21:18

The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.

Commentary:  The question what will you be doing when you get there? Will you be doing more of the same? Is the more of the same what our Lord would consider acceptable?

In Heaven there will be One Lord, One God and He is Jesus… Every knee shall bow, and every lip will give our Lord Jesus the Glory knowing He is Lord and God in the Holy Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, dwelling among us all in His Kingdom.

Heaven is a place fully sanctified and ‘Hardened’ (hardened means to be protected from radiation) against sin, there will be no deceit, no greed, no immorality, no Hollywood, no jails and no hospitals, no cemeteries, only LIFE and it will be Ever-Lasting, no Power Grids, because our Lord will be the source of Light, and the Joy from him.

Jesus gave us all a ‘glimpse’ of the above, but our finite brain power could not break the barriers. Because our ‘Faith’ has limitation that prevented us from reaching His dimension, remember Jesus said…” I am not of this world”; therefore, be prepared for un-bridled Joy in a place of un-imaginable Splendor described by Jesus himself as “Paradise’

Mark 16:19

[Christ Ascends to God’s Right Hand] So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

Authors and story writers have given us nursery rhymes, Peter Rabbit, Alice in Wonderland, Mickey Mouse and all us have grown up watching Sesame street, with Elmo and Big Bird… These are all acceptable across the board in all levels of society.  But when it comes to God, the Bible and Christianity, this is where the Word of God becomes vetted and now being voted by our law makers that the Bible cannot be brought on Campus in many branches of our Military.

In fact, the ACLU sued to have a painting of Jesus removed from a school that hung it its place since 1947, and they have actually tried to place warning labels on the Holy Bible.  The oxymoron meaning of American Civil Liberties Union that ‘advocates’ individual rights, then if this is their quest, then they need to be abolished, as many of their actions are against civil liberties of individuals.

Minute erosions of our religious freedoms are being instituted by atheist groups and even by those with leaning toward embracing the Sharia law of Islam.  This is a small trickle that will turn into a roaring river of reform that will significantly change the texture of this great society.

John 3: 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.20 Everyone who does evil hates the light and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

Let us Praise our Lord as we end the day…Colossians 1:16

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

Prayer.  Father we come in Jesus our Lord and savior. Lord as we end this day, we thank You for Your Graciousness and we place all in Your Holy hands. Lord let Your Holy Spirit be with us as we thank You for Your Favors and Your Faithfulness in meeting our needs and the needs of our Visitors. We pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus as we look to a new dawn filled with Your Love and Grace, to You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Thursday September 5th, 2019

Prayer is better than the best medicine, it is a cure for health, mind and soul. Nothing else can do this.

Jesus Himself spent hours praying to the Father

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Simon and his companions went to look for him, and when they found him, they exclaimed: “Everyone is looking for you!”

Mark 1:35-37 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Mark%201:35-37&version=NIV

Come to the Father by coming to our Mediator and our Redeemer… Jesus our Lord and Savior who said…

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

John 14:6-7 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=John%2014:6-7&version=NIV

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:37-39 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Romans%208:37-39&version=NIV

As we focus of the Power of Prayers, we give Praises to the Father and to Jesus our Redeemer…

David’s Prayer

1 Chronicle 29

10 David praised the Lord in the presence of the whole assembly, saying,

“Praise be to you, Lord,
the God of our father Israel,
    from everlasting to everlasting.
11 Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, Lord, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all.
12 Wealth and honor come from you;
you are the ruler of all things.
In your hands are strength and power
to exalt and give strength to all.
13 Now, our God, we give you thanks,
    and praise your glorious name.

14 “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.15 We are foreigners and strangers in your sight, as were all our ancestors. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope. 16 Lord our God, all this abundance that we have provided for building you a temple for your Holy Name comes from your hand, and all of it belongs to you. 17 I know, my God, that you test the heart and are pleased with integrity. All these things I have given willingly and with honest intent. And now I have seen with joy how willingly your people who are here have given to you. 18 Lord, the God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac and Israel, keep these desires and thoughts in the hearts of your people forever, and keep their hearts loyal to you. 19 And give my son Solomon the wholehearted devotion to keep your commands, statutes and decrees and to do everything to build the palatial structure for which I have provided.”

20 Then David said to the whole assembly, “Praise the Lord your God.” So, they all praised the Lord, the God of their fathers; they bowed down, prostrating themselves before the Lord and the king.

Romans 11:33-36

Ohthe depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has become His counselor?”
35 “Or who has first given to Him
And it shall be repaid to him?”

36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus we Praise You and give You the Glory, as we thank You for Your Divine Providence, Bless our Visitors and grant us Your Peace.

In Your Holy Name we pray… Amen.

Devotionals for Wednesday September 4th, 2019

Spending the future, yes, all governments are doing this. Why? Every budget is full of waste, and mismanagement.

A budget deficit is when spending exceeds income. The term applies to governments, although individuals, companies, and other organizations can run deficits.

Are churches doing the same?

In ministries, many church leaders are doing a great job, but some by the adoption of a ‘business-model’ of more is good; and the over-expansion can lead to the same outcome of being on a treadmill of needing more donors to meet the obligations.  While The Lord said take nothing on the journey to His disciples, we need to let the mission be His, and let us not build trophies but follow the Lord’s instruction and let it all be His will.

An example is the Glass-Cathedral built in California that grew and grew that it incurred a billion dollars in debt and subsequently went bankrupt.

The Good News… God does not have anything against being rich, in fact Jesus had many friends that were rich, such as Joseph of Arimathea, Nicodemus, and we see Christ chose Paul (Saul of Tarsus) who was a persecutor of Christians, Saul was a Tent-Maker, recent studies are now revealing that Paul came from a well-off family that gave him an education and gained his citizenship as a Roman.

Here we see that Jesus chose people of above average means to serve His mission.  As the text below states (Mark 10:26) Jesus said, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! Let us focus on the directive of this sentence… How hard it is for those ‘who trust’ in riches…

TEXT: Mark 4:19 and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations

EVENING:

His Faithfulness:

Jesus the giver of Life – everlasting, remember that a ‘Free’ Gift had to be bought by the giver, and Jesus bought His Priceless Gift with His Life by dying for us, and His Payment was Redeemed by the Father as He Rose from death. His Resurrection is a Witness of what He has endowed for those in Jesus who shall also share in His Glory through His Divine Redemption.

Yes, we can receive His ‘Priceless-Gift’ right now and be made a Joint-Heir in Christ our Savior.

Matthew 10:32

[Confess Christ before Men] “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess (you) before My Father who is in heaven. In Context | Full Chapter

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus we come… Lord Jesus we thank You and Praise you and we give You first-place in all as we look to You as the Author and Finisher of our Faith. We thank you for the Visitors to our Good news sites. Lord be with us all as we pray in Your Holy name Lord Jesus and to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Tuesday September 3rd, 2019

What have we accomplished this week? Can we do what we postponed, reach out to that person and say… “God loves you and so do I”

While the above outreach is a friendly gesture with a message of God’s love, we need to proactively spread the Good News of Christ’s salvation and to extend the invitation to come into His Kingdom…

Not all of us are mission focused to spread the Good News, but the reality is, a person as a friend, most certainly you would want he or she to have the Joy of knowing Christ.

The finest example of one spreading the Gospel of Christ, as seen in the event of Paul’s testimony before King Agrippa and Governor Festus…

Acts 26
Paul Recounts His Conversion

12 “While thus occupied, as I journeyed to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, 13 at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me. 14 And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ 15 So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. 16 But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. 17 I will[b]deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, 18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified[d] by faith in Me.’

Paul’s Post-Conversion Life

19 “Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, 20 but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance. 21 For these reasons the Jews seized me in the temple and tried to kill me. 22 Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come— 23 that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.”

24 Now as he thus made his defense, Festus said with a loud voice, “Paul, you are beside yourself! Much learning is driving you mad!”

25 But he said, “I am not [e]mad, most noble Festus, but speak the words of truth and reason. 26 For the king, before whom I also speak freely, knows these things; for I am convinced that none of these things escapes his attention, since this thing was not done in a corner. 27 King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know that you do believe.”

28 Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You almost persuade me to become a Christian.”

29 And Paul said, “I would to God that not only you, but also all who hear me today, might become both almost and altogether such as I am, except for these chains.”

30 When he had said these things, the king stood up, as well as the governor and Bernice and those who sat with them; 31 and when they had gone aside, they talked among themselves, saying, “This man is doing nothing deserving of death or chains.”

32 Then Agrippa said to Festus, “This man might have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar.”

King Agrippa said to Paul…

28 Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You almost persuade me to become a Christian.”

‘Almost becoming a Christian’ still is insufficient… As we say: ‘You cannot test drive’ being a Christian, you are either born-again in Christ or you remain unsaved.

Paul’s conviction of the Mercies of Christ made him a ‘Vessel’ for the Lord.

We too can do as Paul did, Paul stood before King, Governor and his peers, the Lord chose this former persecutor of Christians and made him a cornerstone in building His Kingdom built on the foundation of Christ the Solid Rock on which we stand.

Without Christ, you are building on ‘Sand’ With Him as the Cornerstone, you are on Solid Rock…

Conclusion:

Ephesians 2:8

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

Prayer:   Heavenly Father in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come. Lord Jesus it is with humility we acknowledge Your Sacrifice knowing that You art the Great Jehovah-Jireh…  Our Messiah and God in One of our Father in His Holy Trinity.

Lord we thank You for Your Grace Your Love and Your Divine Redemption.  Lord we thank You for the many Visitors and we ask Your blessings upon each one and we thank You for Your Favors to all. Thank You Lord as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus to you is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotionals for Monday September 2, 2019

This Monday as we start another week, let us stop and thank the Lord for sparing the USA from the  full impact of the category 5 Hurricane. Imagine a major hit with 186 miles wind speed, the devastation would be catastrophic.

Praise our Lord for His Sovereignty and His Unconditional love as He is still calling us to come to Him

1 Peter 17: 19 … but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 20 He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake.

Acts 24: 19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God

The fact that outside of Christ I had no spiritual life, meaning without HIS Grace, I could not have any Spiritual Communion with the Living God as under Adam we are all Dead.  John 15:5 Jesus said: “Apart from me you can do nothing” Therefore without Him I am an OUTCAST so I seek Jesus every moment.

Live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.  4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

In our walk with our Lord, we must have communion with Him by…

1) Knowing that God loves us all, meaning we must be rooted in Love. 2) to remain un-shaken and remain strong by the Established Love .3) To be rooted and established in Christ’s Love, 4) To be filled with God’s Holy Spirit, 5) That one must be satisfied and complete in Him, 6) To move towards the full purpose that God intended for us, 7) Let the Power of His Holy Spirit work in us

We can achieve the following by coming to our Lord…

1 Nearness to God, 2) Oneness with fellow believers, 3) Peace with one another, 4) One person out of two, (there are neither Jews nor Gentile in the presence of our Lord) 5) Access by One Spirit to the Father (Only through Jesus we can come to the Father) 6) As a Fellow citizen with the Saint of God’s Household, 7) Build on the Foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, by living for HIM.

Today come to our Lord and listen to his invitation as He said…

Matthew 11:28

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 6:33-34 New International Version (NIV)

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

His Promise:

No, Jesus has not forgotten us, 2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

His Faithfulness:

Romans 8:16 (NIV)

16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

Action/Coming to our Lord:

Ephesians 1:11-23  (NIV)

11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

 (Paul’s message to the Ephesians)

Ephesians 1: 19-23

Thanksgiving and Prayer

19 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

Prayer:

Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus you have said no one comes to the Father unless through You.... Lord we Thank You as our Eternal Sovereign God in One of the Father in Your Holy Trinity. Lord Thank You for Your Unconditional Love for us and the privilege that You have given to us all. Lord we thank You for Your faithfulness that we can find Your Green Pastures and the Still Waters that You have led us to. Lord Your blessings abound in the lives of all that seek You and You said, Seek You first and Your Righteousness… Lord we thank You and let all Your blessing be upon us and our Visitors. To You Lord Jesus be the Power and the glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Image result for image of church

What’s wrong with this picture?

The vacant pews, all over the world of many churches, cathedrals in many large cities are experiencing dwindling attendance.

Even in our neighborhood community churches there are less than 65-70% of attendance. On a Sunday morning a typical showing could be as low as 30% and about half an hour after service commence there may be another 5%.

Thoughts for the Day: No one likes to be kept waiting… Are you waiting on God or are you keeping Him waiting?

Good News: Consider that today we have the complete Scripture which is more than the disciples had as they followed Jesus; but they had Christ among them, We have the Comforter, The Holy Spirit, and we have a lifetime of opportunity to Praise our Lord Jesus,

Commentary:  The meter is always ticking, there’s no ‘free-lunch’ you cannot live without buying something or paying. But with Christ, all our lunches are ‘Free’, and the meter is fed…

Our Creator endowed us with the power of proclaiming the Gospel, while the Angels were not given this authority.   This is a little-known fact to many Christians that we were given a higher power than his Angels.

Where do we see this in the scriptures? When Cornelius who was a God-fearing man that sought the Lord, when the Angel appeared to Cornelius, he only spoke telling Cornelius to send a messenger to get Peter to come and bring the Gospel to his household.  Our Lord entrusted us to be messengers of His Good News, so claimed this in the name of our Lord Jesus.

Are we there yet? We are currently East and West of Eden, and the convergence is gathering, as He said Eden will be restored.

Revelation 22:1 [Eden Restored] Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb

According to the Scriptures when the Gospel is preached thought-out the world then the end shall be. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Matthew 24:13-15 (in Context)

But we have nothing to worry about, as the end is the beginning of a life in Paradise… Why? because Jesus told the dying repentant thief at the Crucifixion; “Today you will be with me in Paradise”  We posted a note last week, to ‘focus on the Giver and not on what is given’ Therefore, focus on our Lord Jesus Christ as He is our Redeemer and he said no one comes to the Father unless through Him.

Evening:

Knowing Him – Fellowship in Oneness: Be sure we are not separated from our Lord on the Day of the Lord...

John 3 New International Version (NIV) The Facts:  John 1: 18…No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

Since Christ came and Died for our Sins, and if you heard the Gospel and rejected Him, this is dealt with in John 3: 36

John 3:36 New King James Version (NKJV)

36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

The Harvest is bountiful, but the workers are few… Go as instructed, what was the instruction? Love one another, bring His Good News to the ends of the earth, Jesus said… 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.  Our Treasure is The Lord Jesus Himself.

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Thank You Lord Jesus that through You our Savior, we are made Joint-Heirs to Your Kingdom. Today we thank You for our Visitors, Lord we pray that many visiting will be guided by Your Good News.  Lord bless this day as we go forward in Faith and knowing that all our needs are provided.  We pray in Your Holy name and to You Lord Jesus our Sovereign God in One of our Father and Creator, to You is the Power and the Glory, Now and Forevermore… Amen.

What would you consider a ‘Nice’ weekend?

Choose:

  • A long drive to the countryside
  • A day at the beach
  • Being on the Golf course
    • Or:
    • In Fellowship in the Body of Christ.

A long drive to the countryside may be appealing, but remember on the drive back the weekend traffic will be unbearable, alternately… the day at the beach will be fun, but it was overshadowed by the sun-burn, the sudden downpour and then… the Golf course, let’s hope it is better; but there is a weather front incoming and the lightening and thunder and of course, holding your golf club is like holding unto a lightning rod.

The peace and Joy of the Fellowship in Christ will be the best of all.  Nothing in life is guaranteed, so the scenarios above are just conjectures.  Hopefully, the weekends are all good.

But we must mention the priest that said he was not able to do the church service and asked to be excused. He drove out to a country club a long distance from his church, he stated a round of golf. He suddenly did 450 yards Hole in One. An amazing feat, but he could not tell anyone as he was supposed to be home sick.  I guess this made his really sick.

The old Church sign is always good to revisit… “Honk if you love Jesus  Text and drive if you want to meet him soon”

The Lord’s Unfailing Faithfulness, Unfailing Love, Unfailing Grace and Eternal Redemption.

Do not clutter your life with small-stuffs, the demonstration of the Jar filled with rocks that may be considered full, yet there is room for pebbles, and then it may be considered really full, but yet there is room for sand that now makes the jar totally full.

Sand is the small stuff, if you were to pour the sand in first there would be no room for the Rock, nor the Pebbles.

So, in life, stand on the Solid Rock, which is Christ, gather your families and friends (Pebbles) and leave room to think, to share and to move around by leaving out the small-stuffs.

Jesus overlooked our faults and by His Amazing-Grace He knew our needs and provided it all

Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. In Context | Full Chapter |

Delight yourself in the Lord…

Psalm 35:9

Then my soul will rejoice in the Lord and delight in his salvation. In Context | Full Chapter |

Psalm 18:19 He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because He delighted in me.

Conclusion:

Heaven is a place of Incomprehensible beauty and peace, let us give thanks in Faith to our Lord Jesus that Paid It All

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus we thank You for the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are we will be. Lord be with our Visitors, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Is the family unit threatened?

Yes… from multiple angles, and mostly when they attend schools and more so in universities. The Family Units are being bombarded by all the political correctness, the gender issue, the LBGT in your face teaching starting at a young age. The dispensing of Ritalin drugs in the name of attention deficit disorder or authism.

The above, plus the big-pharma rampant dispensation of ‘paid-killer; no that was not a typo instead of ‘Pain’. The rampant use of prescription drugs to the point of an epedimic by Opiod that leads to hard drugs. With all this, how can anyone say there’s no conspiracy against our families?

When a trusted householf name that almost everyone knows for their Baby’s product is fined for unlawfully promoting Opiod, and paying almost a ¾ Billion dollars in fines. What is driving these old line companies to contribute to the narcotic problem? We can point to several factors…the absence of ethics. The absence of God, and the greed factor.

As the Information Age expanded, many media platforms were hijacked by unscrupulous operators. The adage of a one-eyed man leading in a blind man country because within grasp. As we saw. The gender issue becoming a national agenda affecting our armed forces, retailer, schools and compromising by even some religious groups.

The ‘Information’ Age is said to be becoming the ‘Experience’ Age, or what we prefer… the ‘I am NOT a profile’ Age. Why? As we are referred to by a number, this is proliferating to the point that your user’s name and PIN number will be how you gain access to everything.

It is already in use, as you carry your smart phone and credit cards around, all with a chip. This is man’s way of knowing where you are and who you are.

Jesus never compromised… He never needed any of us to have a chip, He never needed the GPS or the worldwide web. Yet, God sees us, hears our prayers as you pray, being one out of 8 Billions.

Yes, humans are back at building the old Tower of Babel. And God is coming again to tear it down again.

What is the best thing you have today? Is it wealth or health? For me it is health and knowing that my treasures are in heaven. With this I know my Lord has met all my needs...

New International Version

Genesis 11: 9:
That is why it was called Babel --because there the LORD confused the language of the whole world. From there the LORD scattered them over the face of the whole earth.

As today as we are in ‘Training’ just like the 40 year’s journey of the Israelite to Canaan, we are sojourning through this earth which we can have His Grace and His Divine Providence till that day when Jesus will be there to say… Welcome home.  So, let us Love Him and by His Grace He will transform us that we are ‘Spiritually’ connected to Him and not ritually coming to Him.  Come as you are, He seeks nothing from you, He wants to Bless you with an abundant life and give you His Peace.

Conclusion:

Praise our Lord that we have the Gospels, Moses nor the 11 Disciples did not yet have the Good News of Jesus Crucifixion and Resurrection while they were with Him.  But they all saw the Omniscient of our Lord as Jesus spent Forty days with them before He ascended to Heaven.

We also have the Holy Spirit that Jesus said would be our ‘Comforter’ and as we go today we can Praise our Living Eternal Sovereign Savior who has endowed us with his Grace and made us ‘Joint-Heirs’ in Him to His Kingdom.

Prayer: Father in Heaven in Jesus our Lord and Savior we come… Lord Jesus as we start this new week, we seek Your Divine grace upon us all, Lord bless our Visitors as we go in Faith knowing that You Lord is Omniscient and all our needs are provided for by Your providence. Lord we thank You and we give You first-place in all knowing that You Lord Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith as we acknowledge You before all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Thursday August 29, 2019

Why did the sun go dark for three hours? And why this event never reoccurred ?

There are three major events that made more impact on humanity than any other known events of world history.

The Birth of Jesus is one event that has influenced how we live daily, governed by the daily calendar of the year AD 2019 (A.D. An abbreviation used with a date, indicating how many years have passed since the birth of Jesus. The birth of Jesus dictates our calendar and yet many have never heard of Jesus.

What is the 2nd most important? ‘The Crucifixion of Jesus’, why? He was not just a man, He was God, Jesus as we see shook the elements at his crucifixion by a major earthquake, the sun went dark for three (3) hours, Midday to 3 PM, and the Curtain of the Temple was torn. The Power of His Holy Spirit from His father descended on earth.

The Third most important event known to man is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. As we declare “HE IS RISEN” His Resurrection from death as seen by thousands witnessed by the Disciples. Jesus’ Resurrection is a Divine gift to us that completed His Redemption of our Soul, His Blood of Atonement was shed for our sin, His Priceless Gift of Life-Everlasting is offered to each of us…

How do we receive this priceless gift? We must in Faith come to Jesus in Prayer and confess with our mouth that He is God, and ask that our sins be forgiven, and in Faith ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, and He will send His Holy Spirit that will guide you and you will be a Child of God. What a privilege granted to us by our Lord Jesus.

There’s a fourth event that will be the ‘Crowning-Event’ this is as stated… The Return of The Lord:

Revelation 22: 7… New Living Translation
“Look, I am coming soon! Blessed are those who obey the words of prophecy written in this book.”

  1. Corinthians 15:52

New Living Translation
It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed.

Remember what Jesus said to the thief that was crucified, this person asked Jesus “Lord remember me when you get to your kingdom” and Jesus replied… “Today you shall be with me in Paradise”.

Jesus knew that this thief repented and sought Him, and Jesus gave him His pardon, just like this action in Faith and the immediate response of Jesus is available to each of us right now, as Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow…  ‘Today is the day of Salvation” Let us have Victory in Jesus Christ as we look to be in His Kingdom by His own words, Jesus described it as ‘Paradise’. A Place described as:

Revelation 22: 5…
New Living Translation
And there will be no night there—no need for lamps or sun—for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever.

Revelation 21: 18-27  (A synopsis of God’s Kingdom)

18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city itself of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19 The foundations of the city walls were adorned with every kind of precious stone: The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.

21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, with each gate consisting of a single pearl. The main street of the city was pure gold, as pure as transparent glass.

22 But I saw no temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.23 And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24 By its light the nations will walk, and into it the kings of the earth will bring their glory.f 25 Its gates will never be shut at the end of the day, because there will be no night there.

26 And into the city will be brought the glory and honor of the nations. 27 But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who practices an abomination or a lie, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

As someone said…"Life is too short to be busy." (Tim Kreider) and we are saying… Life without Christ by being busy in this world will cause you to miss the stairway to His Kingdom… Jesus is there pointing the way.  Find Him and follow Him.

Prayer:

Gracious God our Heavenly Father in Jesus we come, Lord Jesus because You are Holy and by Your Redemption we were redeemed by Your Grace, Lord by Your Sacrifice at Calvary we can come boldly to You Lord; as You said come and You will give us Rest. We seek You Lord and Praise You for Your Unconditional Love and Thank You for our Visitors and Your Graciousness. In Your Holy Name, we pray Lord Jesus, to You is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

The Holy Bible is the Best-Selling book of all times, why? The Bible evokes a sense of security, creates curiosity and challenges all.  As said…

Revelation 22:18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the ...

I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds
anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this ...

Deuteronomy 4:2 Do not add to what I command you and do not ...

Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep
the commands of the LORD your God that I give you. ...

As President Ronald Reagan once said …”In this book lies the answers to all of what we need” and as stated by a member of NASA®… The secret of lifting off into Orbit was found in the Holy Bible.

Yes, Jesus revealed many ‘Secrets’ and what He said may have been overlooked. Why? Jesus was speaking from the heart with the Holy Spirit in His teachings.  A statement of whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven, appear to be so simple. But, Jesus was saying that we are not ‘Alone’ in such an action, as what we do in faith, is also granted in His Name.

Jesus said… I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." Matthews 16: 19

When Jesus said… “ I will give you the keys of the Kingdom”; we want to ask our readers… do you believe this? Let me affirm that Yes, I do, and I know that whatever Jesus said this is so.  So, know this that…

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever ...

What is God’s Kingdom? Daniel 4:3 How great are his signs, how mighty his wonders! His ...

... His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; his dominion endures from generation to generation. ...
His kingdom will last forever, his rule through all generations. ...

God gave us many indications of events leading up to that fateful day… Matthew 24:6-8

You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

He also said… "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." -Matthew 24:14

From the book of Haggai, we read of:

  1. The Greatness of God
  2. God expects purity among men, and He expects to assume priority in the lives of His people
  3. God is in charge and He controls our economic conditions, He uses economic conditions to teach spiritual lessons.
  4. He is ever faithful, and He keeps His promises
  5. He is a Living God

God gave us many indications of events leading up to that fateful day… Matthew 24:6-8

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

He also said… "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." -Matthew 24:14

Because our Lord knows our thoughts, He said … Matthew 6:8

Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Let us give thanks for the Favors of our Lord…

  1. 2 Corinthians 8:14

At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality,

 2 Corinthians 9:8

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

The Angel of the Lord shall encamp around us…

TEXT: Hebrews 1:14

New International Version (NIV)

14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Commentary: Have you ever had a turn of event that saved you from a disastrous outcome?

Everyone sometime back in time, we all had near misses. Praise God for being here today…

Psalm 34:7  (NIV)

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father we ask Your divine blessing on our Visitors and say in Your Name: May our God of Grace who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus bless and keep you, and make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, and give you peace now and forever, in Jesus Name…. Amen.

Image result for image of spaceThe picture of earth shown on the left, it shows that it is surrounded by ‘Space-Junks’.

What we have defaced the beauty of the ‘Blue- Planet’ with over 500,000 pieces of debris. Space debris encompasses both natural (meteoroid) and artificial (man-made) particles. Meteoroids are in orbit about the sun, while most artificial debris is in orbit about the Earth. Hence, the latter is more commonly referred to as orbital debris.

When the Lord returns all of this will be burnt-up…

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The ...

... the heavens shall pass away with great violence, and the elements shall be melted
with heat, and the earth and the works which are in it, shall be burnt up. ...

2 Peter 3 (NKJV)

God’s Promise Is Not Slack

3 Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder),

that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts,

and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”

For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water,

by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water.

But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Commentary:

When the trumpet sound on that day, many will be taking refuge, and there will be nowhere to go…

“They called to the mountains and the rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?’ – Revelation 6:16-17 (NIV)

The Wrath of God will be unbearable, BUT THE Grace of God will spare His elect from the day of Tribulation, and that Jesus still holds all things together and He is in Charge

Think on this   :

  • 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
  • Galatians 6:11 [Not Circumcision but the New Creation] See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand!
  • Galatians 6:15 Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation.

Praying to the Lord is the Most-Important Meeting we can have in our daily lives…

All other things we do are secondary, as only our Lord can Divinely prepare us for the day, He can smooth our tasks, inspire us, give us His Blessings, and by His Grace we can cope with all aspects of life’s responsibilities.

His Faithful calling…

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundant above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.  from Ephesians 3:20 NKJV

2 Corinthians 2:15   (NKJV) 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

His Promise:

Ephesians 2: 4-10  But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in Jesus we come…Lord Jesus we thank You for our Visitors and the Covenant of Your promise that in Your Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions, and where You are we will be. Lord, today let Your Holy Spirit be with us all as we pray in Your Holy Name Lord Jesus our Supreme Eternal God to You Lord is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Monday August 26,2019

The beauty of a Koi Pond… just think that these beautiful fishes swimming around happily without a care in the world; yet they depend on receiving their feed, and care from humans. Pets develop a relationship with their owners, and yet in todays world, people that provide your phone services, and other services, including your credit cards and many business, to them you are not a human, as most times you will be speaking with an artificial customer service that will ask you for your customer number. And, this is exactly what we have become a number.

The Credit Card that you carry has a Chip that they claim that this is more secure.  If it was so secure, why is it that it can be captured even when in your pocket? We are surrounded by Radio Frequency Identification, Global Positioning Satellite and now G5 Broadband. So, as the stray cat that we have been feeding is now a friendly cat, probably it knows that we are his provider. Maybe the banks and government employees should learn that the customers are the ones that keep them employed.

Conversely, the adage of…’Familiarity breeds contempt’ of as we say; its easy to mistake kindness for weakness. While the stark fact that we take so much for granted as the favor of the Lord is granted us daily.

Things to know that in the realms of reality, right now is what counts; not yesterday, nor tomorrow, for we know…“Jesus is the Great High Priest and HE is the Source of our SECURITY!”

Our Lord’s Grace and His Kindness and Graciousness are His gifts to those that serve and place Him first.

Live by the principle of… Spiritual maturity is developed by holding unto a FAITH that is FIRMLY ANCHORED IN CHRIST; and knowing that we are never on our own because Jesus is our High Priest.

Hebrews 4: 12 (NIV)

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Jesus is our Intercessor and our Mediator as our High Priest, that Intercedes to the Father, as HE Said...”No one comes to the Father unless Through HIM”

Psalms 95 Verse 7 (NIV).  For he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.

Today, if only you would hear his voice, 8. Do not harden your hearts

His encouragement to persevere and Stay focused in FAITH

Principle 2:

We become Mature in The Faith as we live out the Truth, and Learn about God…

MATURE FAITH = ACTION FOR CHRIST

Keynote:

Jesus is the Foundation Who Secures the ANCHOR of OUR FAITH…

The GOSPEL IS THE WHOLE THING, And The Goodness of HIS Resurrection.

Keynote: Keep Focused on HIM!

Jesus is on the Throne, and He is our Anchor, and we can come to Him as HE said…

Pay Careful attention to the Gospel, so we will be fully Anchored in Jesus Christ…as HE Never Lies, HE is Supreme, HE is Sovereign, and HE is our Eternal God…

Our Father holds the purse-strings, and what we lose for his sake he can repay a thousand-fold.

It is ours to obey his will, and we may rest assured that he will provide for us. The Lord will be no man's debtor.

Looking at His Words in Matthew 6: 28-34 (NIV) preface…These are the words of Jesus as told by Him from His sermon at a gathering which was in effect our Lord’s Inauguration speech as King Jesus, widely known as the Beatitudes and as ‘The Sermon on the Mount’ The theme of this message is: ‘To have Faith and not to Worry’

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Prayer: Prayer: Heavenly Father because of Jesus our Redeemer and through You Lord we have Victory and we can boldly declare that this day is the best day of all because Your Lord Jesus paid it all.  Lord we thank you for our Visitors and we ask your Divine blessing on us all. To You Lord Jesus is the Power and the Glory now and forevermore… Amen.

Devotional for Sunday: August 25, 2019

God is calling us all…

Be aware…      God’s House, the Church is not a Private-Club, it is a refuge for Sinners…

Someone may say I do not attend church because it is full of hypocrites, guess what? and that would include us all. So, choosing to be absent by using this reason is really an excuse.  If the audience in church were perfect, then why would Christ have to die for our sins?

So, anyone that claims to be more perfect, then he or she is making Jesus to be a liar.  Because Jesus said…

John 3 [Full Chapter]

The New Birth] There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

No, the Church ‘Age’ did not end… The Church is loved by God and is very much alive!

Let us re-affirm that the Church Age did not end, as Jesus gave His command by saying… A new commandment I give you, that you love one another; as I have loved you that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples if you have love for one another. John 13: 34-35 NKJV

Regarding the Church Age… We read about Paul’s writing in Hebrews 10: 25 ‘Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another; and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

We need ‘Oneness’ in Christ, as we look to that day… The Day of The Lord! The Body of Christ is the Church, His Holiness and Fellowship in Him as we Praise our Lord through Community Worship and in our personal Worship of our Savior.

Text: “As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even forever.” Psalm 125:2

Romans 3:9

All Have Sinned ] What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin. In Context | Full Chapter |

Romans 3:22-24 New King James Version (NKJV)

22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

So, the church is a refuge for sinners like us all…

His Promise:

Trust in God… He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him. He also will hear their cry and save them… Psalm 145: 19 NKJV

The Power of the Holy Spirit… In Acts 4: 31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with Boldness.

Conclusion:

Now that we have His assurance that we are complete in Him, and that when we follow Him, we shall have Eternal Life, and that No One can Snatch us out of His Hands or His Father’s  Hand, and these Assurances are truthful and we can in Faith accept this as His Promise.
